Saccharomycopsis fibuligera, which produces enzymes like amylase and protease as well as flavor substances like β-phenyl ethanol and phenyl acetate, plays a crucial role in traditional fermented foods. However, this strain still lacks a high-density fermentation culture, which has had an impact on the strain's industrial application process. Therefore, this study investigated the optimization of medium ingredients and fermentation conditions for high-density fermentation of S. fibuligera Y1402 through single-factor design, Plackett–Burman design, steepest ascent test, and response surface analysis. The study found that glucose at 360.61 g/L, peptone at 50 g/L, yeast extract at 14.65 g/L, KH2PO4 at 5.49 g/L, MgSO4 at 0.40 g/L, and CuSO4 at 0.01 g/L were the best medium ingredients for S. fibuligera Y1402. Under these conditions, after three days of fermentation, the total colony count reached 1.79 × 108 CFU/mL. The optimal fermentation conditions were determined to be an initial pH of 6.0, an inoculum size of 1.10%, a liquid volume of 12.5 mL/250 mL, a rotation speed of 120 r/min, a fermentation temperature of 21 °C and a fermentation time of 53.50 h. When fermentation was conducted using the optimized medium and conditions, the total colony count achieved a remarkable value of 5.50 × 109 CFU/mL, exhibiting a substantial increase of nearly 31 times the original value in the optimal culture medium. The reasonable and effective application of waste tires and discarded concrete in concrete is an important branch of green concrete development. This paper investigates the effects of the inorganic modification mode on the basic mechanical properties of rubber recycled concrete based on indoor tests. Inorganic modification, such as water washing, acid washing, and alkaline washing modification, was mainly used to treat and modify rubber particles. The factors affecting the compressive strength, the splitting tensile strength, the flexural strength, the axial compressive strength, and the modulus of elasticity of modified rubber recycled concrete were analyzed. The study results show that the incorporation of recycled aggregates and rubber reduced the mechanical properties of concrete, with the compressive and splitting tensile strengths showing the greatest reductions of 27.36% and 27.24%, respectively. Three modification methods significantly improved the mechanical properties of rubber recycled concrete. The alkali washing modification method was the most effective, maximally improving the mechanical properties of rubber recycled concrete by 7.53–15.51%. The effects of the three modifications on the mechanical properties of concrete were ranked as follows: alkali washing > acid washing > water washing. 3-Methylthio-1-propanol (3-Met) is an important flavor compound in various alcoholic beverages such as Baijiu and Huangjiu. To maintain the content of 3-Met in these alcoholic beverages, it is necessary to screen a micro-organism with high yield of 3-Met from the brewing environment. In this study, the ability of yeast strains from the Baijiu brewing to produce 3-Met was analyzed, aiming to obtain yeast with high-yield 3-Met, and its fermentation conditions were optimized. Firstly, 39 yeast strains were screened using 3-Met conversion medium. The results showed that the majority of the strains from Baijiu brewing sources could produce 3-Met, and nearly half of the strains produced more than 0.5 g/L of 3-Met. Among these, yeast F10404, Y03401, and Y8#01, produced more than 1.0 g/L of 3-Met, with yeast Y03401 producing the highest amount at 1.30 g/L. Through morphological observation, physiological and biochemical analysis, and molecular biological identification, it was confirmed that yeast Y03401 was a Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Subsequently, the optimal fermentation conditions for 3-Met production by this yeast were obtained through single-factor designs, Plackett–Burman test, steepest ascent path design and response surface methodology. When the glucose concentration was 60 g/L, yeast extract concentration was 0.8 g/L, L-methionine concentration was 3.8 g/L, initial pH was 4, incubation time was 63 h, inoculum size was 1.6%, shaking speed was 150 rpm, loading volume was 50 mL/250 mL, and temperature was 26 °C, the content of 3-Met produced by S. cerevisiae Y03401 reached a high level of 3.66 g/L. It was also noteworthy that, in contrast to other study findings, this yeast was able to create substantial amounts of 3-Met even in the absence of L-methionine precursor. Based on the clear genome of S. cerevisiae and its characteristics in 3-Met production, S. cerevisiae Y03401 had broad prospects for application in alcoholic beverages such as Baijiu. Isatropolone C from Streptomyces sp. CPCC 204095 features a fused cyclopentadienone-tropolone-oxacyclohexadiene tricyclic moiety in its structure. Herein, we report an isatropolone C dimer derivative, di-isatropolone C, formed spontaneously from isatropolone C in methanol. Notably, the structure of di-isatropolone C resolved by NMR reveals a newly formed cyclopentane ring to associate the two isatropolone C monomers. The configurations of four chiral carbons, including a ketal one, in the cyclopentane ring are assigned using quantum NMR calculations and DP4+ probability. The plausible molecular mechanism for di-isatropolone C formation is proposed, in which complex dehydrogenative C-C bond coupling may have happened to connect the two isatropolone C monomers. MYB98 is master regulator of the molecular network involved in pollen tube attraction. Until recently, it was unclear how this gene exhibits exclusively synergid cell-specific expression in ovule. Our recent study has established that a 16-bp-long SaeM element is crucial for its synergid cell-specific expression in ovule, and an 84-bp-long fragment harboring SaeM is sufficient to drive the process. In this study, we have developed a workflow to predict functional roles of potential transcription factors (TFs) putatively binding to the promoter region, taking MYB98 promoter as a test subject. After sequential assessment of co-expression pattern, network analysis, and potential master regulator identification, we have proposed a multi-TF model for MYB98 regulation. Our study suggests that ANL2, GT-1, and their respective homologs could be direct regulators of MYB98 and indicates that TCP15, TCP16, FRS9, and HB34 are likely master regulators of the majority of the TFs involved in its regulation. Comprehensive studies in the future are expected to offer more insights into such propositions. The differences in chemical components, nutritional value, volatile organic compounds, antioxidant activity and α-glucosidase inhibiting capacity in vitro in coconut waters with different maturities (8, 10, and 12 months after pollination and germination height below 10 cm were named CW-8, CW-10, CW-2, and MCW, respectively) from the tall coconut variety were compared and analyzed. Results showed that as the maturity increased, the ash and reducing sugar in coconut water gradually decreased, while the protein content and fatty acids continued to increase. Potassium, phosphorus, and sodium in four coconut waters showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, and CW-12 had the highest content of 2133.85 mg/kg, 239.74 mg/kg, and 310.75 mg/kg, respectively. The volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in higher amounts are alcohols and esters in coconut waters, among which 2-methylbutyl acetate, ethyl acetate monomer, and 2-methyl-1-propanol dimer were the characteristic volatile substances that distinguish MCW from the other three coconut waters. MCW has the best DPPH-scavenging and ferrous-ion-chelating ability (87.39% and 7.65%), while CW-8 had the highest hydroxyl and ABTS radicals scavenging rate (97.31% and 83.48%) and α-glucosidase inhibitory rate (81.36%). Chloropidae, commonly known as grass flies, represent the most taxonomically diverse family of Diptera Carnoidea, comprising over 3000 described species worldwide. Previous phylogenetic studies of this family have predominantly relied on morphological characters, with mitochondrial genomes being reported in a few species. This study presents 11 newly sequenced mitochondrial genomes (10 Chloropidae and 1 Milichiidae) and provides the first comprehensive comparative analysis of mitochondrial genomes for Chloropidae. Apart from 37 standard genes and the control region, three conserved intergenic sequences across Diptera Cyclorrhapha were identified in all available chloropid mitochondrial genomes. Evolutionary rates within Chloropidae exhibit significant variation across subfamilies, with Chloropinae displaying higher rates than the other three subfamilies. Phylogenetic relationships based on mitochondrial genomes were inferred using maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods. The monophyly of Chloropidae and all four subfamilies is consistently strongly supported, while subfamily relationships within Chloropidae remain poorly resolved, possibly due to rapid evolution. Restricted production of fungal secondary metabolites hinders the ability to conduct comprehensive research and development of novel biopesticides. Okaramine B from Penicillium demonstrates remarkable insecticidal efficacy; however, its biosynthetic yield is low, and its regulatory mechanism remains unknown. The present study found that the yield difference was influenced by fermentation modes in okaramine-producing strains and performed genomic and comparative transcriptome analysis of P. daleae strain NBP-49626, which exhibits significant features. The NBP-49626 genome is 37.4 Mb, and it encodes 10,131 protein-encoding genes. Up to 5097 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified during the submerged and semi-solid fermentation processes. The oka gene cluster, lacking regulatory and transport genes, displayed distinct transcriptional patterns in response to the fermentation modes and yield of Okaramine B. Although transcription trends of most known global regulatory genes are inconsistent with those of oka, this study identified five potential regulatory genes, including two novel Zn(II)2Cys6 transcription factors, Reg2 and Reg19. A significant correlation was also observed between tryptophan metabolism and Okaramine B yields. In addition, several transporter genes were identified as DEGs. These results were confirmed using real-time quantitative PCR. This study provides comprehensive information regarding the regulatory mechanism of Okaramine B biosynthesis in Penicillium and is critical to the further yield improvement for the development of insecticides. A high-yield 3-methylthiopropanol (3-Met) yeast Y1402 was obtained from sesame-flavored Daqu, and it was identified as Saccharomycopsis fibuligera. S. fibuligera Y1402 showed a broad range of growth temperatures and pH, as well as the maximum tolerance to glucose, NaCl, nicotine, and 3-Met at 50% (w/w), 15% (w/v), 1.2 g/L, and 18 g/L, respectively. After optimization using single-factor experiments, a Plackett–Burman design, a steepest ascent test, and a Box–Behnken design, the 3-Met yield reached 4.03 g/L by S. fibuligera Y1402 under the following optimal conditions: glucose concentration of 40 g/L, yeast extract concentration of 0.63 g/L, Tween 80 concentration of 2 g/L, L-methionine concentration of 5 g/L, liquid volume of 25 mL/250 mL, initial pH of 5.3, fermentation temperature of 32 °C, inoculum size of 0.8%, shaking speed of 210 rpm, and fermentation time of 54 h. The fermentation was scaled up to a 3 L fermenter under the optimized conditions, and the yield of 3-Met reached 0.71 g/L. Additionally, an aroma analysis revealed that the flavor substances produced by S. fibuligera Y1402 in sorghum hydrolysate medium was mainly composed of compounds with floral, sweet, creamy, roasted nut, and clove-like aromas. Breakdown characteristics play an important role in silicon carbide (SiC) power devices; however, the wide bandgap of SiC poses a challenge for numerical simulation of breakdown characteristics. In this work, a self-developed simulator employing a novel numerical processing method to prevent convergence issues, based on semi-classical transport models and including several kinds of mobility, generation and recombination models, is used to investigate the performance and breakdown characteristics of 4H-SiC MOSFETs in high-power applications. Good agreement between our simulator and an experiment and commercial TCAD was achieved. The simulator has good stability and convergence and can be used as a powerful tool to design and optimize semiconductor devices. Further, the breakdown characteristics are evaluated with different factors, including lattice temperature, device structure and doping profiles. Our results show that the doping profile plays the most important role in the breakdown voltage, followed by the device structure, while the impact of lattice temperature is found to be minimal. The implementation of a unity power factor (UPF) three-phase rectifier has the potential to enhance the power factor (PF). However, the PF and total harmonic distortion (THD) experience degradation in low-output regions due to the utilization of a "critical input inductor" under rated load conditions. In this study, an analysis of the operation principle of a UPF three-phase rectifier is conducted and a reference compensation current technique based on alternative performance indices is proposed. The optimal control algorithm is utilized to calculate the single harmonic phase delay of each phase and determine the compensator gain, taking into account factors such as the single harmonic distortion limit, THD limit, PF, and active power consumption. The output of the current compensator serves as the desired current source, which in turn drives the bidirectional switches. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed control technique can significantly mitigate power supply current distortion, and the input power factor has been effectively improved within a wider load range. The gut microbiome's imbalance has been implicated in the pathogenesis of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), yet the contribution of the gut mycobiome remains largely unclear. This study delineates the gut mycobiome profile in PAH and examines its interplay with the bacterial microbiome alterations. Fecal samples from monocrotaline-induced PAH rats and matched controls were subjected to internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) sequencing for fungal community assessment and 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene sequencing for bacterial community characterization. Comparative analysis revealed no significant disparities in the overall mycobiome diversity between the PAH and control groups. However, taxonomic profiling identified differential mycobiome compositions, with the PAH group exhibiting a significant enrichment of genera such as Wallemia, unidentified_Branch02, Postia, Malassezia, Epicoccum, Cercospora, and Alternaria. Conversely, genera Xeromyces, unidentified_Plectosphaerellaceae, and Monilia were more abundant in the controls. Correlations of Malassezia and Wallemia abundance with hemodynamic parameters were observed. Indications of bidirectional fungal–bacterial community interactions were also noted. This investigation reveals distinct gut mycobiome alterations in PAH, which are intricately associated with concurrent bacterial microbiome changes, suggesting a possible contributory role of gut fungi in PAH pathophysiology. Root knot nematodes cause serious damage to global agricultural production annually. Given that traditional chemical fumigant nematicides are harmful to non-target organisms and the environment, the development of biocontrol strategies has attracted significant attention in recent years. In this study, it was found that the Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner strain NBIN-863 exhibits strong fumigant nematicidal activity and has a high attraction effect on Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood. Four volatile organic compounds (VOCs) produced by NBIN-863 were identified using solid-phase microextraction and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. The nematicidal activity of four VOCs, namely, N-methylformamide, propenamide, 3-(methylthio)propionic acid, and phenylmalonic acid, was detected. Among these compounds, 3-(methylthio)propionic acid exhibited the highest direct contact nematicidal activity against M. incognita, with an LC50 value of 6.27 μg/mL at 24 h. In the fumigant bioassay, the mortality rate of M. incognita treated with 1 mg/mL of 3-(methylthio)propionic acid for 24 h increased to 69.93%. Furthermore, 3-(methylthio)propionic acid also exhibited an inhibitory effect on the egg-hatching of M. incognita. Using chemotaxis assays, it was determined that 3-(methylthio)propionic acid was highly attractive to M. incognita. In pot experiments, the application of 3-(methylthio)propionic acid resulted in a reduction in gall numbers, decreasing the number of galls per gram of tomato root from 97.58 to 6.97. Additionally, the root length and plant height of the treated plants showed significant increases in comparison with the control group. The current study suggests that 3-(methylthio)propionic acid is a novel nematicidal virulence factor of B. thuringiensis. Soy molasses is rich in oligosaccharides like sucrose, stachyose, and raffinose, with stachyose and raffinose being functional oligosaccharides. Harnessing soy molasses for the production of functional soy oligosaccharides (FSO) can significantly elevate its value. Biological purification, a method leveraging the selective utilization of different carbon sources by microorganisms, allows for the specific removal of sucrose from soy molasses while preserving stachyose and raffinose, thereby increasing the FSO content. This research identified a yeast named YT312 with strong purification capabilities for soy molasses and optimized the purification conditions. The study revealed that yeast YT312 was Wickerhamomyces anomalus, exhibiting a broad range of growth temperatures and pH levels alongside a high tolerance to glucose, sucrose, and NaCl. Through single-factor and orthogonal experiments, it was established that under specific conditions—0.375% inoculum size, 30 °C fermentation temperature, 150 rpm shaking speed, 10-fold dilution ratio, pH of 7, and 12 h of fermentation—sucrose was completely removed from soy molasses, while functional raffinose and stachyose were retained at rates of 96.1% and 90.2%, respectively. The energy sector's digital evolution is a critical micro-reflection of the digital economy's architecture and an essential tactical pathway for achieving sustainable development goals. However, the value of digital change in regard to how effectively energy firms' core business functions is not yet apparent. This research utilizes textual analysis to quantify the textual intensity of energy enterprises' digitization. Applying data gathered from A-share listed firms in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2010 to 2021 and based upon the fixed-effects panel model and mediated effects model, we assess the impact of digitization on critical business performance and evaluate the research themes' variability from business and geographical viewpoints using a full-sample strategy. We derive three notable findings. First, the digital development of energy enterprises significantly improves the performance of their core businesses and exhibits some fluctuating characteristics. Second, the digitization of energy enterprises greatly increases the input and output of enterprise innovation, thereby improving the efficiency of their core business in the two main ways of breakthrough innovation. Third, there is a nonlinear relationship between the performance of energy enterprises' core businesses and their digital transformation, meaning there is just one threshold consequence that diminishes after crossing the threshold. Digital transformation enables energy companies to carry out cross-border cooperation and integrate innovative resources, thereby improving corporate performance and promoting sustainable development. Based on the unit life and death technology, the dynamic evolution process of soil loss is considered, and a pipe-soil nonlinear coupling model of buried pipelines passing through the collapse area is constructed. The analysis shows that after the third layer of soil is lost, the existence of the "pipe-soil separation" phenomenon can be confirmed, which then supplements the assumption that "pipe-soil is always in contact" in the elastic foundation beam theory. Calculation of settlement deformation of buried pipelines It needs to be divided into two stages: cooperative deformation and non-cooperative deformation. Taking the settlement prediction of buried pipelines as the goal, the particle swarm algorithm (PSO) was used to optimize the number of neurons, Dropout, and Batch-size in the long short-term memory network (LSTM) structure. The optimization results were 60, 0.001, and 100, respectively. The PSO-LSTM model proposed in this article can accurately describe the dynamic evolution process of buried pipelines and has better prediction accuracy than the modified Gaussian curve method and LSTM neural network model. The use of this model can provide a reference for safety risk management, disaster early warning, and intelligent monitoring when buried pipelines suffer from soil collapse disasters. Dietary risk has always been a major risk factor for colorectal cancer (CRC). However, the contribution of dietary risk factors to CRC at the level of region, gender, and age has not been fully characterized. Based on the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2019 study, the death rates, age-standardized mortality rates (ASDRs), and estimated annual percentage changes (EAPCs) were calculated to assess the trends of CRC attributable to dietary risk factors over the past 30 years. Globally, the death cases of CRC increased to 1,085,797 in 2019, and the number of deaths attributed to dietary risk factors increased to 365,752 in 2019, representing approximately one-third of all CRC-related fatalities. Overall, the ASDR attributable to dietary risks was 4.61 per 100,000 in 2019, with a slight downward trend (EAPC = −0.29). Notably, there is a rising trend in early-onset colorectal cancer mortality associated with dietary factors. To alleviate CRC burdens, it is recommended to elevate the intake of whole grains, milk, calcium, and fiber while reducing consumption of red and processed meats. The objective of this study was to examine the impacts of the combing of Agrocybe aegerita polysaccharides (AAPS) with Bifidobacterium lactis Bb-12 (Bb-12) on antioxidant activity, anti-aging properties, and modulation of gut microbiota. The results demonstrated that the AAPS and Bb-12 complex significantly increased the average lifespan of male and female Drosophila melanogaster under natural aging conditions (p < 0.05), with an improvement of 8.42% and 9.79%, respectively. Additionally, the complex enhanced their climbing ability and increased antioxidant enzyme activity, protecting them from oxidative damage induced by H2O2. In D-galactose induced aging mice, the addition of AAPS and Bb-12 resulted in significantly increase in antioxidant enzyme activity, regulation of aging-related biomarker levels, changed gut microbiota diversity, restoration of microbial structure, and increased abundance of beneficial bacteria, particularly lactobacilli, in the intestines. The structural stability of silt foundations, particularly sensitive to moisture content, can be severely compromised by recurring wetting and drying processes. This not only threatens the foundational integrity but also raises grave concerns about the long-term safety of major civil engineering endeavors. Addressing this critical issue, our study delves into the transformative effects of reclaimed polyester fiber on subgrade silt exposed to such environmental stressors. Through rigorous wet–dry cycle tests on this enhanced soil, we evaluate shifts in shear strength across varying confining pressures. We also dissect the interplay between average pore diameter, particle distribution, and morphology in influencing the soil's microstructural responses to these cycles. A detailed analysis traces the structural damage timeline in the treated soil, elucidating the intertwined micro–macro dynamics driving strength reduction. Key discoveries indicate a notably non-linear trajectory of shear strength degradation, marked by distinct phases of rapid, subdued, and stabilized strength attrition. Alterations within the micropores induce a rise in both their count and size, ultimately diminishing the total volume proportion of the reinforced soil. Intriguingly, particle distribution is directly tied to the wet–dry cycle frequency, while the fractal dimension of soil particles consistently wanes. This research identifies cement hydrolysis and pore expansion as the dominant culprits behind the observed macroscopic strength degradation due to incessant wet–dry cycles. Flexible and effective methods for oil–water separation are crucial for reducing pollutant emissions and safeguarding water and fuel resources. In recent years, there has been growing interest in fundamental research and engineering applications related to water and fuel purification, especially oil–water separation. To date, filter materials with special wetting characteristics have been widely used in oil–water separation. Nanostructured materials are one of the most attractive candidates for next-generation oil–water separation. This review systematically summarizes the mechanisms and current status of oil–water separation using nanostructured materials. Basically, this can be achieved by using nanostructured materials with specific wettability and nanostructures. Here, we provide a detailed discussion of two general approaches and their filtration mechanisms: (1) the selective filtration technique, based on specific surface wettability, which allows only oil or water to penetrate while blocking impurities; (2) the absorption technique, employing porous sponges, fibers, or aerogels, which selectively absorbs impure oil or water droplets. Furthermore, the main failure modes are discussed in this review. The purposes of this article are: (1) to summarize the methods of oil–water separation by nanotechnology; (2) to raise the level of environmental protection consciousness of water pollution by using nanotechnology; (3) to tease out the features of different approaches and provide a pivotal theoretical basis to optimize the performance of filtering materials. Tryptophan synthetase (TSase), which functions as a tetramer, is a typical enzyme with a substrate channel effect, and shows excellent performance in the production of non-standard amino acids, histamine, and other biological derivatives. Based on previous work, we fused a mutant CE protein (colistin of E. coli, a polypeptide with antibacterial activity) sequence with the sequence of TSase to explore whether its catalytic activity could be enhanced, and we also analyzed whether the addition of a DNA scaffold was a feasible strategy. Here, dCE (CE protein without DNase activity) protein tags were constructed and fused to the TrapA and TrapB subunits of TSase, and the whole cell was used for the catalytic reaction. The results showed that after the dCE protein tag was fused to the TrapB subunit, its whole cell catalytic activity increased by 50%. Next, the two subunits were expressed separately, and the proteins were bound in vitro to ensure equimolar combination between the two subunits. After the dCE label was fused to TrapB, the activity of TSase assembled with TrapA also improved. A series of experiments revealed that the enzyme fused with dCE9 showed higher activity than the wild-type protein. In general, the activity of assembly TSase was optimal when the temperature was 50 °C and the pH was about 9.0. After a long temperature treatment, the enzyme maintained good activity. With the addition of exogenous nucleic acid, the activity of the enzyme increased. The maximum yield was 0.58 g/L, which was almost three times that of the wild-type TSase (0.21 g/L). The recombinant TSase constructed in this study with dCE fusion had the advantages of higher heat resistance and higher activity, and confirmed the feasibility of adding a nucleic acid scaffold, providing a new idea for the improvement of structurally similar enzymes. Utilizing regenerated polyester fibers (RPFs) for the reinforcement of silty road bases not only enhances the soil's engineering performance but also offers a sustainable method for repurposing waste polyester bottles. To investigate the engineering properties and microscopic behaviors of this reinforced silty soil, a series of extensive physico-mechanical tests were conducted, supplemented by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analyses. These evaluations focused on the influence of variables such as fiber content, fiber length, moisture content, and curing duration on the modified soil's performance. The fiber content of the test was 0–1%, and the fiber length was 6–17 mm. The results indicate that curing age had a less significant impact on liquid and plastic limits than the addition of fiber, along with a marginal decline in the plasticity index over time. The rate of shrinkage in the unmodified soil was between 1.04 and 1.45 times higher than that in the fiber-reinforced soil, indicating effective shrinkage control by the fibers. However, variations in maximum dry density (ρdmax) were insignificant across different fiber contents, while a slight increase was observed in the optimum moisture content (OMC) as fiber dosage increased. After a 28-day curing period, the resilient modulus and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) met highway road base design standards. A decline in unconfined compressive strength was noted when the fiber dosage exceeded 0.2%. The addition of fibers mitigated diagonal cracking and shifted the failure pattern towards a more ductile mode. This study aimed to assess the hypoglycemic efficacy of low molecular weight polysaccharides fractions obtained from Laminaria japonica (LJOO) in a model of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) constructed using mice. Biochemical parameters were measured after 4 weeks of continuous gavage, and fasting blood glucose (FBG) concentrations were analyzed. Pathological changes in tissues were assessed. The intestinal contents were obtained for 16S rDNA high-throughput sequencing analysis and detection of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). LJOO lowered FBG and insulin concentrations. It altered the gut microbiota composition, as evidenced by enriched probiotic bacteria, along with an increase in the Bacteroidetes/Firmicutes ratio and a decrease in the population of harmful bacteria. LJOO stimulated the growth of SCFA—producing bacteria, thereby increasing cecal SCFAs levels. LJOO can potentially aid in alleviating T2DM and related gut microbiota dysbiosis. To understand the HPV infection profiles among Chinese HIV/AIDS patients and the HPV vaccine acceptance among unvaccinated Chinese people with different HIV infection statuses after the HPV vaccine launch in China, this study searched Web of Science, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Scopus, CNKI, WANFANG, SinoMed, and VIP databases up to 23 June 2023, according to the registered protocol (CRD42023449913). A total of 58 studies were included. The results showed that the HPV infection rate among Chinese HIV/AIDS patients was 52.54% (95% CI: 42.11–62.86%) and higher in males than in females (74.55% vs. 41.04%); meanwhile, the rate was higher in the anus than in the cervix (69.22% vs. 41.71%). Although there was no statistical difference, the high-risk HPV infection rate (38.98%) was higher than low-risk HPV (23.86%), and single infections were more common (28.84%) than multiple infections (19.23%). HPV vaccine acceptance among the unvaccinated Chinese population was 59.19% (95% CI: 52.50–65.89%), and was slightly higher among HIV-infected rather than non-HIV-infected individuals (67.72% vs. 59.58%). There was a difference in acceptance among respondents from different regions. Although the difference in acceptance rate between males and females was not statistically significant (61.10% vs. 61.18%), MSM had a higher acceptance rate than non-MSM (84.28% vs. 59.05%). HPV infection is prevalent among HIV patients, demonstrating the need to increase the frequency of HPV screening for PLWH. The HPV vaccine acceptance rate is higher than that of non-HIV-infected individuals. Male acceptance is almost the same as female's, with MSM acceptance higher than non-MSM, suggesting that using MSM, especially MSM in PLWH, as an entry point may be a practical avenue to explore to further expand the scope of HPV vaccination. HIV-related spatial analysis studies in China are relatively few, and Jiangsu Province has not reported the relevant data in recent years. To describe the spatial distribution and molecular linkage characteristics of HIV-infected patients, this article combined descriptive epidemiology, spatial analysis, and molecular epidemiology methods to analyze patient reporting, patient mobility information, and HIV sequence information simultaneously. The results showed that HIV reporting profiles differed among Jiangsu cities, with the reporting rate in southern Jiangsu being above average. There was a spatial autocorrelation (Global Moran I = 0.5426, p < 0.05), with Chang Zhou showing a High–High aggregation pattern. Chang Zhou and Wu Xi were identified as hotspots for HIV reporting and access to molecular transmission networks. Some infected individuals still showed cross-city or even cross-province mobility after diagnosis, and three were linked with individuals in the destination cities within the largest molecular transmission cluster, involving 196 patients. The cross-city or cross-province mobility of patients may result in a potential HIV transmission risk, suggesting that combining timely social network surveys, building an extensive transmission network across cities and provinces, and taking critical regions and key populations as entry points could contribute to improved prevention and control efficiency and promote achievement of the 95-95-95 target and cascade. Circular RNA (circRNA) has been reported to be involved in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease; however, it is unclear whether circRNA carried by exosomes (exos) can be used as biomarkers for chronic coronary syndrome (CCS). High-throughput sequencing was carried out in the plasma exosomal RNA of 15 CCS patients and 15 non-cardiac chest pain patients (NCCP, control group) to screen for differentially expressed circRNAs. Selected differentially expressed exo-circRNAs were further verified by real-time polymerase chain reaction in a small-sample cohort and a large-sample cohort. A total of 276 circRNAs were differentially expressed in the plasma exosomes of CCS patients, with 103 up-regulated and 173 down-regulated. Among the 103 up-regulated circRNAs, 5 circRNAs with high expression levels were selected for validation. Real time quantitative PCR of the first and second validation cohort demonstrated that exo-hsa_circ_0075269 and exo-hsa_circ_0000284 were significantly up-regulated in patients with CCS. Circulating exo-hsa_circ_0075269 and exo-hsa_circ_0000284 yielded the area under the curve values of 0.761 (p < 0.001, 95%CI = 0.669, 0.852) and 0.623 (p = 0.015, 95%CI = 0.522, 0.724) for CCS, respectively, by ROC curve analysis. In conclusion, the expression profile of circRNA in plasma exosomes of patients with CCS was significantly different from that of the control group. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most prevalent form of dementia among elderly people worldwide. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is the optimal fluid source for AD biomarkers, while serum biomarkers are much more achievable. To search for novel diagnostic AD biomarkers, we performed a quantitative proteomic analysis of CSF and serum samples from AD and normal cognitive controls (NC). CSF and serum proteomes were analyzed via data-independent acquisition quantitative mass spectrometry. Our bioinformatic analysis was based on Gene Ontology (GO) functional annotation analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment. In comparison to the controls, 8 proteins were more abundant in AD CSF, and 60 were less abundant in AD CSF, whereas 55 proteins were more and 10 were less abundant in the serum samples. ATPase-associated activity for CSF and mitochondrial functions for CSF and serum were the most enriched GO terms of the DEPs. KEGG enrichment analysis showed that the most significant pathways for the differentially expressed proteins were the N-glycan biosynthesis pathways. The area under the curve (AUC) values for CSF sodium-/potassium-transporting ATPase subunit beta-1 (AT1B1), serglycin (SRGN), and thioredoxin-dependent peroxide reductase, mitochondrial (PRDX3) were 0.867 (p = 0.004), 0.833 (p = 0.008), and 0.783 (p = 0.025), respectively. A panel of the above three CSF proteins accurately differentiated AD (AUC = 0.933, p = 0.001) from NC. The AUC values for serum probable phospholipid-transporting ATPase IM (AT8B4) and SRGN were moderate. The AUC of the CSF SRGN + serum SRGN was 0.842 (p = 0.007). These novel AD biomarker candidates are mainly associated with inflammation, ATPase activity, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial dysfunction. Background and Objectives: To develop a novel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based radiomics–clinical risk stratification model to predict the regrowth of postoperative residual tumors in patients with non-functioning pituitary neuroendocrine tumors (NF-PitNETs). Materials and Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 114 patients diagnosed as NF-PitNET with postoperative residual tumors after the first operation, and the diameter of the tumors was greater than 10 mm. Univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify independent clinical risk factors. We identified the optimal sequence to generate an appropriate radiomic score (Rscore) that combined pre- and postoperative radiomic features. Three models were established by logistic regression analysis that combined clinical risk factors and radiomic features (Model 1), single clinical risk factors (Model 2) and single radiomic features (Model 3). The models' predictive performances were evaluated using receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve analysis and area under curve (AUC) values. A nomogram was developed and evaluated using decision curve analysis. Results: Knosp classification and preoperative tumor volume doubling time (TVDT) were high-risk factors (p < 0.05) with odds ratios (ORs) of 2.255 and 0.173. T1WI&T1CE had a higher AUC value (0.954) and generated an Rscore. Ultimately, the AUC of Model 1 {0.929 [95% Confidence interval (CI), 0.865–0.993]} was superior to Model 2 [0.811 (95% CI, 0.704–0.918)] and Model 3 [0.844 (95% CI, 0.748–0.941)] in the training set, which were 0.882 (95% CI, 0.735–1.000), 0.834 (95% CI, 0.676–0.992) and 0.763 (95% CI, 0.569–0.958) in the test set, respectively. Conclusions: We trained a novel radiomics–clinical predictive model for identifying patients with NF-PitNETs at increased risk of postoperative residual tumor regrowth. Two-dimensional (2D) ice I is atomic-level ice that is composed of two interlocked atomic layers saturated with hydrogen bonds. It has recently been experimentally observed, but its properties have yet to be clarified. Accordingly, we theoretically studied the hydrophobic properties of 2D ice I. On the contrary, a simulation of a hydrogen fluoride molecule on a 2D ice surface manifested that it destroyed the 2D ice structure and connected new hydrogen bonds with water molecules. Investigations of the interfacial effect between 2D and three-dimensional (3D) ice films indicated that the network structure of 2D ice was not destroyed by a 3D ice surface, as the former was saturated with hydrogen bonds. However, the surface of 3D ice reorganized to form as many hydrogen bonds as possible. Thus, the 2D ice film was hydrophobic and inhibited the growth of 3D ice. Penetration testing is an important method to evaluate the security degree of a network system. The importance of penetration testing attack path planning lies in its ability to simulate attacker behavior, identify vulnerabilities, reduce potential losses, and continuously improve security strategies. By systematically simulating various attack scenarios, it enables proactive risk assessment and the development of robust security measures. To address the problems of inaccurate path prediction and difficult convergence in the training process of attack path planning, an algorithm which combines attack graph tools (i.e., MulVAL, multi-stage vulnerability analysis language) and the double deep Q network is proposed. This algorithm first constructs an attack tree, searches paths in the attack graph, and then builds a transfer matrix based on depth-first search to obtain all reachable paths in the target system. Finally, the optimal path for target system attack path planning is obtained by using the deep double Q network (DDQN) algorithm. The MulVAL double deep Q network(MDDQN) algorithm is tested in different scale penetration testing environments. The experimental results show that, compared with the traditional deep Q network (DQN) algorithm, the MDDQN algorithm is able to reach convergence faster and more stably and improve the efficiency of attack path planning. The physicochemical properties, amino acids, and volatile metabolites of 20 types of Guangdong Hakka Huangjiu were systematically compared in this study. Lower sugar contents were detected in LPSH, ZJHL-1, and GDSY-1, but the total sugar contents of the other types of Guangdong Hakka Huangjiu were more than 100 g/L (which belonged to the sweet type). Among them, a lower alcohol content was found in GDSY-1 (8.36 %vol). There was a significant difference in the organic acid and amino acid composition among the 20 Guangdong Hakka Huangjiu samples, especially the amino acid composition. However, bitter amino acids as the major amino acids accounted for more than 50% of the total amino acids. A substantial variation in volatile profiles was also observed among all types of Guangzhou Hakka Huangjiu. Interestingly, MZSK-1 had different volatile profiles from other Guangzhou Hakka Huangjiu samples. According to gas chromatography olfactometry (GC-O), most of the aroma-active ingredients identified in Guangdong Hakka Huangjiu were endowed with a pleasant aroma of "fruity". Currently, many positioning technologies complementary to Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) are providing ubiquitous positioning services, especially the coupling positioning of Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) and other signals. Magnetic field signals are stable and ubiquitous, while Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting (DTMB) signals have strong penetration and stable transmission over a large range. To improve the positioning performance of PDR, this paper proposes a robust PDR integrating magnetic field signals and DTMB signals. In our study, the Spiking Neural Network (SNN) is first used to learn the magnetic field signals of the environment, and then the learning model is used to detect the magnetic field landmarks. At the same time, the DTMB signals are collected by the self-developed signal receiver, and then the carrier phase ranging of the DTMB signals is realized. Finally, robust pedestrian positioning is achieved by integrating position information from magnetic field landmarks and ranging information from DTMB signals through Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). We have conducted indoor and outdoor field tests to verify the proposed method, and the outdoor field test results showed that the positioning error cumulative distribution of the proposed method reaches 2.84 m at a 68% probability level, while that of the PDR only reaches 8.77 m. An unusually persistent and heavy rainfall event occurred in Hainan Island from 1 to 9 October 2010, in association with one extended tropical depression (TD) over the South China Sea (SCS). Based on rain-gauge precipitation, satellite altimetry, in situ Argo profile, air–sea enthalpy flux, and reanalysis data, this study investigates the impact of warm ocean anomalies in the SCS on the formation and intensification of the extended TD, and their reinforcing effect on TD-related heavy rainfall. The TD intensified and migrated northward to the vicinity of Hainan Island. A thicker-than-normal warm subsurface layer that was present beneath the positive sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies contained a sufficient upper-ocean heat content to effectively restrain the TD's self-induced SST cooling effect, and available enthalpy fluxes were therefore sufficient to support the maintenance of the TD. The composite analyses confirm the reinforcing effect of warm oceanic anomalies in the central SCS off the south-central coast of Vietnam on heavy rainfall in Hainan Island, with the composite precipitation of "Warm eddy" cases being significantly larger in Hainan Island and northern Vietnam than that of the "Normal" cases, using reanalysis and remote sensing precipitation data over 29 years (1993–2021). TQFL12 is a novel derivative designed and synthesized on the basis of Thymoquinone (TQ) which is extracted from Nigella sativa seeds. We have demonstrated that TQFL12 was more effective in the treatment of TNBC than TQ. In order to directly reflect the acute toxicity of TQFL12 in vivo, in this study, we designed, synthesized, and compared it with TQ. The mice were administered drugs with different concentration gradients intraperitoneally, and death was observed within one week. The 24 h median lethal dose (LD50) of TQ was calculated to be 33.758 mg/kg, while that of TQFL12 on the 7th day was 81.405 mg/kg, and the toxicity was significantly lower than that of TQ. The liver and kidney tissues of the dead mice were observed by H&E staining. The kidneys of the TQ group had more severe renal damage, while the degree of the changes in the TQFL12 group was obviously less than that in the TQ group. Western blotting results showed that the expressions of phosphorylated levels of adenylate-activated protein kinase AMPKα were significantly up-regulated in the kidneys of the TQFL12 group. Therefore, it can be concluded that the acute toxicity of TQFL12 in vivo is significantly lower than that of TQ, and its anti-toxicity mechanism may be carried out through the AMPK signaling pathway, which has a good prospect for drug development. Reinforced concrete structures in the marine environment face serious corrosion risks. Coating protection and adding corrosion inhibitors are the most economical and effective methods. In this study, a nano-composite anti-corrosion filler with a mass ratio of CeO2:GO = 4:1 was prepared by hydrothermally growing cerium oxide on the surface of graphene oxide. The filler was mixed with pure epoxy resin at a mass fraction of 0.5% to prepare a nano-composite epoxy coating. The basic properties of the prepared coating were evaluated from the aspects of surface hardness, adhesion grade, and anti-corrosion performance on Q235 low carbon steel subjected to simulated seawater and simulated concrete pore solutions. Results showed that after 90 days of service, the corrosion current density of the nanocomposite coating mixed with corrosion inhibitor was the lowest (Icorr = 1.001 × 10−9 A/cm2), and the protection efficiency was up to 99.92%. Formaldehyde (HCHO) is a tracer of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and its concentration has gradually decreased with the reduction in VOC emissions in recent years, which puts forward higher requirements for the detection of trace HCHO. Therefore, a quantum cascade laser (QCL) with a central excitation wavelength of 5.68 μm was applied to detect the trace HCHO under an effective absorption optical pathlength of 67 m. An improved, dual-incidence multi-pass cell, with a simple structure and easy adjustment, was designed to further improve the absorption optical pathlength of the gas. The instrument detection sensitivity of 28 pptv (1σ) was achieved within a 40 s response time. The experimental results show that the developed HCHO detection system is almost unaffected by the cross interference of common atmospheric gases and the change of ambient humidity. Additionally, the instrument was successfully deployed in a field campaign, and it delivered results that correlated well with those of a commercial instrument based on continuous wave cavity ring-down spectroscopy (R2 = 0.967), which indicates that the instrument has a good ability to monitor ambient trace HCHO in unattended continuous operation for long periods of time. Fermented foods, which have emerged fortuitously over the course of human development, have become an essential part of human history worldwide. Third, researchers have explored the application of microorganisms in various stages of fermented food production, for example, in pre-treatment, fermentation, and post-fermentation processes. On the other hand, after 28 days of solid-state fermentation, the same actinomycete strains produced a total of 64 terpenoids using the five fermentation substrates, and the cumulative terpenoid content was determined to be 23,651.52 g/kg in the fermentation products. Despite the popularity of fermented foods globally, many traditional fermented foods are still produced using open fermentation methods where it is difficult to evaluate the safety or function of microorganisms, leading to inevitable challenges. Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a widely consumed vegetable, and the tomato fruit weight is a key yield component. Many quantitative trait loci (QTLs) controlling tomato fruit weight have been identified, and six of them have been fine-mapped and cloned. Here, four loci controlling tomato fruit weight were identified in an F2 population through QTL seq.; fruit weight 6.3 (fw6.3) was a major-effect QTL and its percentage of variation explanation (R2) was 0.118. This QTL was fine-mapped to a 62.6 kb interval on chromosome 6. According to the annotated tomato genome (version SL4.0, annotation ITAG4.0), this interval contained seven genes, including Solyc06g074350 (the SELF-PRUNING gene), which was likely the candidate gene underlying variation in fruit weight. The SELF-PRUNING gene contained a single-nucleotide polymorphism that resulted in an amino acid substitution in the protein sequence. The large-fruit allele of fw6.3 (fw6.3HG) was overdominant to the small-fruit allele fw6.3RG. The soluble solids content was also increased by fw6.3HG. These findings provide valuable information that will aid the cloning of the FW6.3 gene and ongoing efforts to breed tomato plants with higher yield and quality via molecular marker-assisted selection. In recent years, the development of marine hydrocarbon resources has led to an increased demand for research on the marine soil bearing capacity and cyclic loading effect in marine engineering design. Because of the difficulties and high costs involved in obtaining high-quality soil samples from offshore sites, in situ testing techniques have become the preferred method of determining design parameters in offshore geotechnical engineering projects. This paper provides a review of the current state of marine penetrometer deployment technology used in offshore engineering investigations and presents a summary of the T-bar penetrometer test for measuring marine soft clay. The existing literature research on penetration mechanisms, numerical simulations, laboratory experiments, and field tests of the T-bar penetrometer in the field of marine geotechnical engineering are analyzed. In order to mitigate the potential issue of abrupt water inrush in coal mining operations, the elastic-plastic mechanics theory was employed to simplify the water barrier of the floor strata into a thin rectangular plate. Subsequently, a fluid-solid coupling damage model was designed through the utilization of COMSOL Multiphysics software to investigate the coupled seepage and damage effects of the rock mass in an equivalent continuous medium. The results indicate that (1) the analysis of the theoretical equation of elastic mechanics shows that the fracture position of the four-sided clamped thin plate is in the center of the four sides, and the theoretical limit span and the theoretical limit water pressure formula are derived. (2) The damage factor is used to characterize the damaging effect of different mining distances and different pore water pressures on the rock mass of the floor aquiclude in the numerical simulation. It is found that the damage tends to the open-off cut and stop-mining line of the floor waterproof layer and the center position on both sides of the coal wall, and the stress is the most concentrated. (3) The results obtained by the two research methods are highly consistent, which provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of water in ground mining mines, so as to realize safe mining above the confined aquifer. Panax ginseng (P. ginseng), the dried root and rhizome of P. ginseng C. A. Meyer, is widely used in many fields as dietary supplements and medicine. To characterize the chemical constituents in P. ginseng cultivated in different growth environments, a UPLC-TOF-MS method was established for qualitative analysis. Four hundred and eight ginsenosides, including 81 new compounds, were characterized in P. ginseng from different regions. Among the detected compounds, 361 ginsenosides were recognized in P. ginseng cultivated in the region of Monsoon Climate of Medium Latitudes, possessing the largest amount of ginsenosides in all samples. Furthermore, 41 ginsenosides in 12 batches of P. ginsengs were quantified with a UPLC-MRM-MS method, and P. ginsengs from different regions were distinguished via chemometric analysis. In this study, the hydrological system of the Weather Research and Forecasting model (WRF-Hydro) is applied to simulate the streamflow at the Kaidu River Basin, which is vital to the ecological system in the lower reaches of the Tarim River in Northwest China. The offline WRF-Hydro model is coupled with the Noah multi-parameterization land surface model (Noah-MP) and is forced by the China Meteorological Forcing Dataset (CMFD), with the grid spacing of the hydrological routing modules being 250 m. A 3-year period (1983–1985) is used for calibration and a 17-year period (1986–2002) for the evaluation. Several key parameters of WRF-Hydro and four Noah-MP parameterization options are calibrated, and the performance of WRF-Hydro with the optimized model setting is evaluated using the daily streamflow observations. The results indicate that WRF-Hydro can reproduce the observed streamflow reasonably, with underestimation of the streamflow peaks. The simulated streamflow is sensitive to the parameters of bexp, dksat, smcmax, REFKDT, slope, OVROUGHRTAC and mann in the Kaidu River Basin. At the same time, the parameterization options of Noah-MP also have a large influence on the streamflow simulation. The WRF-Hydro model with optimized model settings can achieve correlation coefficient (CC) and Nash efficiency coefficient (NSE) statistical scores of 0.78 and 0.61, respectively, for the calibration period. Meanwhile, for the evaluation period, the scores are 0.7 and 0.50, respectively. The analysis of epilepsy electro-encephalography (EEG) signals is of great significance for the diagnosis of epilepsy, which is one of the common neurological diseases of all age groups. With the developments of machine learning, many data-driven models have achieved great performance in EEG signals classification. However, it is difficult to select appropriate hyperparameters for the models to file a specific task. In this paper, an evolutionary algorithm enhanced model is proposed, which optimizes the fixed weights of the reservoir layer of the echo state network (ESN) according to the specific task. As evaluating a feature extractor relies heavily on the classifiers, a new feature distribution evaluation function (FDEF) using the label information of EEG signals is defined as the fitness function, which is an objective way to evaluate the performance of a feature extractor that not only focuses on the degree of dispersion, but also considers the relation amongst triplets. The performance of the proposed method is verified on the Bonn University dataset with an accuracy of 98.16% and on the CHB-MIT dataset with the highest sensitivity of 96.14%. The proposed method outperforms the previous EEG methods, as it can automatically optimize the hyperparameters of ESN to adjust the structure and initial parameters for a specific classification task. Furthermore, the optimization direction by using FDEF as the fitness of MFO no longer relies on the performance of the classifier but on the relative separability amongst classes. As a porous biomass sustainable material, cellulose aerogel has attracted significant attention due to its unique properties in various applications. However, its mechanical stability and hydrophobicity are huge obstacles hindering practical applications. In this work, nano-lignin quantitative doping cellulose nanofiber aerogel was successfully fabricated via liquid nitrogen freeze drying combing vacuum oven drying. The impact of various parameters (lignin content, temperature, and matrix concentration) on the property of the as-prepared materials was systematically explored, revealing the optimum conditions. The morphology, mechanical properties, internal structure, and thermal degradation of the as-prepared aerogels were characterized by various methods (compression test, contact angle, SEM, BET, DSC, and TGA). Compared with pure cellulose aerogel, the addition of nano-lignin did not significantly change the pore size and specific surface area of the material but could improve its thermal stability. In particular, the enhanced mechanical stable and hydrophobic properties of cellulose aerogel via the quantitative doping of nano-lignin was confirmed. The mechanical compressive strength of 160–13.5 C/L-aerogel is as high as 0.913 MPa, while the contact angle was nearly reaching 90°. To compare the chemical distinctions of Panax ginseng Meyer in different growth environments and explore the effects of growth-environment factors on P. ginseng growth, an ultra-performance liquid chromatography–tandem triple quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Triple-TOF-MS/MS) was used to characterize the ginsenosides obtained by ultrasonic extraction from P. ginseng grown in different growing environments. Sixty-three ginsenosides were used as reference standards for accurate qualitative analysis. Cluster analysis was used to analyze the differences in main components and clarified the influence of growth environment factors on P. ginseng compounds. A total of 312 ginsenosides were identified in four types of P. ginseng, among which 75 were potential new ginsenosides. The number of ginsenosides in L15 was the highest, and the number of ginsenosides in the other three groups was similar, but it was a great difference in specie of ginsenosides. The study confirmed that different growing environments had a great influence on the constituents of P. ginseng, and provided a new breakthrough for the further study of the potential compounds in P. ginseng. House flies (Muscidae) comprise the most species-rich family of the muscoid grade with over 5000 described species worldwide, and they are abundant in various terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. The high number of species, varied appearances, complex feeding habits, and wide distributions have hindered researchers from understanding their phylogeny and evolutionary history. Here, we newly sequenced fifteen mitochondrial genomes and reconstructed the phylogenetic relationships and divergence time among eight subfamilies of Muscidae (Diptera). The best phylogenetic tree, which was inferred by IQ-Tree, recovered the monophyly for seven out of eight subfamilies (except for Mydaeinae). Based on phylogenetic analyses and morphological characteristics, we prefer the subfamily status of Azeliinae and Reinwardtiinae, and separate Stomoxyinae from Muscinae. Genus Helina Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 was synonymized with Phaonia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830. The divergence time estimation indicated Muscidae originated at 51.59 Ma (early Eocene). Understanding the long-term dynamics and driving factors behind small and micro wetlands is critical for their management and future sustainability. This study explored the impacts of natural and anthropogenic factors on the spatiotemporal evolution of these areas in Wuxi area using the support vector machine (SVM) classification method and the geographic detector model based on Landsat satellite image data from 1985 to 2020. The results revealed that: (1) Natural wetlands were prominent in Wuxi area, with an average proportion of 70%, and although they exhibited a downward trend over the last ten years, the scale of natural small and micro wetlands increased 1.5-fold—from 4349.59 hm2 in 1985 to 10,841.59 hm2 in 2020. (2) The small and micro wetlands in Wuxi area had obvious seasonal variations, with most being 0.1–1 hm2 and 1–3 hm2, respectively. From the perspective of spatial distribution, they were primarily distributed in Yixing district, which accounts for 34% of Wuxi area. (3) The distribution of small and micro wetlands was systematically affected by natural and human activities. The main factors that affected the distribution of small and micro wetlands were the average annual temperature and GDP, with the interactions between all factors being nonlinear and bi-linear. The influences of natural factors on small and micro wetlands were weakened, with human activities steadily emerging as the dominant factor that affected their distribution. The Bogda Range (hereafter referred to as the Bogda) is located in the Eastern Tianshan. Interpreting its tectono-thermal history is critical to understanding the intra-continental evolution of the Tianshan. In this study, we report new apatite fission track data from the late Paleozoic–Mesozoic sedimentary rocks in the northern Bogda and the Late Paleozoic granites in the southern Bogda to investigate the exhumation history of the Bogda. Apatite fission track ages dominantly range from the Jurassic to earliest Cenozoic (~143–61 Ma), except for one siliciclastic sample from the Early Permian strata with an older age of ~251 Ma. Thermal history modeling, together with detrital apatite fission track age peaks, reveal that the Bogda underwent three episodes of cooling during the Late Triassic, the Late Cretaceous, and the Late Miocene. The Late Triassic rapid cooling may represent the initial building of the Bogda, which is probably related to the final closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean. During the Late Cretaceous, the Bogda may have experienced a moderate exhumation, which was possibly triggered by the extensive tectonic extension in the central–eastern Asian regime during the Cretaceous. The Late Miocene rapid cooling may be a response to the rapid uplift of the whole Tianshan, due to the far-field effect of the continuous India–Eurasia collision since the beginning of the Cenozoic.
