A porous magnetic multifunctional copper-based metal-organic framework (MOF) was developed through combined covalent and dative post-synthetic modification (PSM) of the CuBDC. In this regard, a novel magnetic metal-organic framework (MMOF) consisting of supported 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dicarbaldehyde (Fe3O4@Cu(BDC)-NH2-PHD) has been fabricated by post-synthetic modifications of Fe3O4@Cu(BDC)-NH2. Subsequently, the prepared nanocomposites were modified using palladium chloride ions (Fe3O4@Cu(BDC)-NH2-PdPHD) to impart catalytic sites. As a result, the fabricated magnetic porous catalyst exhibited great catalytic activity in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. Some of the essential advantages of the synthesized catalyst are; high catalytic activity, short reaction times, mild conditions, high thermal stability, and reusability. The central aim of this investigation was to innovate a novel nanocatalyst for the eco-friendly synthesis of benzothiazoles through an acceptorless dehydrogenative coupling of 2-aminothiophenol and benzyl alcohol, mitigating environmental impact. In pursuit of this objective, we immobilized a poly-sulfonamide (PS) onto the surface of a layered double oxide/sodium alginate composite (LDO@SiO2-Pr-SA), exhibiting exceptional activity and selectivity. A noteworthy achievement was the unprecedented immobilization of Fe species on this innovative nanocomposite, comprising LDO, sodium alginate, and polysulfonamides, further enhancing the environmental sustainability and economic efficiency of the process. Additionally, the catalyst demonstrated cost-effectiveness, safety, scalability, and reusability (up to 6 times), as confirmed by hot-filtration tests establishing its heterogeneity. An electrode composite containing a metal organic framework (Mn-MIL-100) was prepared by linkers including gold nanoparticles/polypyrrole and cysteine. The electrocatalytic application of this nanocomposite was evaluated via the oxidation of benzylic and aliphatic alcohols under open air conditions. Various active and inactive alcohol derivatives were successfully converted to the corresponding ketones with excellent yields. This advanced electrocatalyst proved to have remarkable stability over several recovery cycles from the reaction medium without significant change in its activity and selectivity and its regeneration potential. The active surface area of this electrocatalyst is very large due to its structural features, arising from the introduction of a metal organic framework (Mn-MIL-100) on a gold electrode, which provides more accessible surface sites, therefore boosting the electrocatalytic activity. Bi-aryl ketones are important motifs in large number of pharmaceutical compounds and natural products. A protocol for the synthesis of thienyl ketones has been developed via Pd (0) catalyzed cross-coupling reaction. The desired thienyl ketones (3a-x) were synthesized by cross coupling of 3-methylthiophene-2-carbonyl chloride with variety of aryl/heteroaryl-boronic acids in good to excellent yields (46–91%) under mild conditions (1.5 eq Cs2CO3 at 50 °C). In this study, we have developed an efficient protocol for synthesis of phosphorus-substituted heterocycles through reaction between 2-Aryl quinoxalines and dialkyl phosphites under transition-metal-free conditions. Here, K2S2O8 has been used as the sole oxidant for the facile synthesis of phosphorus substituted derivates. Novel Schiff bases were synthesised using 3-aminoquinazolinone (1) and a variety of aldehydes in the presence of acetic acid as solvent. Antifungal evaluation of the compounds was carried out by the agar dilution method. The novel set of quinazoline-based chiral ligands was synthesized starting from optically pure amino acids. Coordination with RuCl 2 (PPh 3 )dppb gave ruthenium(II) N-heterocyclic complexes 4b–d . The structure of complex 4b was fully illuminated by X-ray crystallography. The steric environment of these chiral ruthenium complexes 4b–d was evaluated in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation (ATH) of prochiral ketones in the presence of NaO i Pr by using 2-propanol as the hydrogen source and solvent. In this study, we present the design, synthesis, and utilization of a covalent triazine framework (CTF) formed by the condensation of N 2 , N 4 , N 6 -tris(4-(aminomethyl)benzyl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine and 2,4,6-tris(4-formylphenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine on which silica is immobilized (TPT-TAT/silica) as an innovative catalyst for porphyrins synthesis. Under solvothermal conditions, the condensation of triamine and trialdehyde precursors led to the formation of a covalent triazine framework (CTF) with a high nitrogen content. The resulting CTF is characterized by its extensive porosity and elevated nitrogen levels, which are critical for the creation of catalytic active sites. This framework demonstrated exceptional catalytic performance in the synthesis of porphyrins. Substituting aerobic conditions in lieu of costly oxidizing agents represents a significant advancement in our methodology. Due to the insolubility of the catalyst, it is possible to separate it from the reaction mixture through filtration or centrifugation. This property enhances its reusability and minimizes waste generation. This development in the synthesis and application of CTFs could pave the way for more sustainable and cost-effective catalytic processes in organic synthesis, particularly in the synthesis of complex molecules like porphyrins. Herein, a new catalytic nanocomposite [Co(BDC-NH 2 )-Pd NPs] composed of a Co(BDC-NH 2 ) MOF has been developed. The catalyst was prepared by modifying the synthesized porous Co(BDC-NH 2 ) MOF with decorated Pd nanoparticles. This nanocatalyst was used as a heterogeneous catalyst in the reductive degradation of organic dyes Rhodamine B and methyl orange with NaBH 4 . The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of the reactions were evaluated. The results showed that the low catalyst content could successfully catalyze the dye reduction reaction quickly (1 min). The metal-organic frameworks unique porous morphology of the Co(BDC-NH 2 ) MOF appears to increase dye adsorption and achieve effective dye reduction. Single-electron transmetalation has emerged as an enabling paradigm for the cross-coupling of Csp(3) hybridized organotrifluoroborates. Cross-coupling of α-alkoxymethyltrifluoroborates with aryl and heteroaryl bromides has been demonstrated by employing dual catalysis with a combination of an iridium photoredox catalyst and a Ni cross-coupling catalyst. The resulting method enables the alkoxymethylation of diverse (hetero)arenes under mild, room-temperature conditions.
