Abstract This article argues that Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) associated with immaterial labor can be favorable alternatives to refugee ways of working and living. We present and analyze the performance of three CSOs - in the areas of theater, handicraft, and gastronomy - aimed at the social and labor integration of refugees, based on the valorization of their savoir-faire and ethnic background. The cartographic method was adopted for qualitative exploratory research. The production and collection of data took place through interaction with managers, refugees, and products and services of the CSOs. Three axes of analysis were considered: (i) presentation of the mapped territory; (ii) CSOs modes of action - learning/teaching, (co)producing/exposing (oneself); (iii) (re)invent (oneself) by (co)operating in a network. The results indicate that, despite new global forms of subjection, CSOs associated with immaterial labor, forge and sustain a network of social, affective, productive, and emancipatory cooperation. This network protects work from the vampirization of the capital and becomes opportunities for refugees in which work and life are intertwined.

The article “HUMAN RIGHTS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: reflections in times of barbarism” presents reflections based on research in development in this area by researchers from UFMA and PUC / RS. It is considered necessary to develop the debate on the topic in view of the upsurge of all types of violence against adolescents in Brazil and the ongoing reforms that aim to reduce the age of criminal responsibility as a strategy to combat crime. It is intended to provide opportunities for the socialization of scientific productions, in addition to allowing the expansion of the debate with other subjects involved with this theme in Brazil and abroad, based on the following axes: The human rights of adolescents: advances and challenges; Violence against Adolescents in Brazil and Maranhão; Reduction of the age of criminal responsibility and its consequences; Life Trajectories of Adolescents in Conflict with the Law; Child and Youth Labor in Brazil and Maranhão.

This issue offers six studies from the fifty oral and written presentations of the International Doctoral Conference on Education (CIDEF), presented online on 27 and 28 October 2020. While each of these articles sheds light on the challenges for tomorrow's education, they deal with this theme from very different objects and methods : educational policies, users of education, as well as the analysis of practices. The complementarity of this work offers us a broad vision of the richness offered by this research discipline. A first part reflects the reality of practices when they are imposed institutionally and shows a desire to understand current teaching methods. As an extension of this work, the second part of this issue offers articles on pedagogical initiatives. It also questions their effects on the practices of education professionals but also on the learning of beneficiaries.

A pandemia causada pelo coronavírus ficará marcada na história. As medidas de saúde para conter seu avanço, orientadas pela OMS, foram drásticas, o que acarretou uma mudança nas relações entre as pessoas. Neste trabalho, objetivamos ouvir as narrativas das crianças de diferentes regiões do Brasil a respeito de suas experiências na e sobre a pandemia da Covid-19. Apoiados pelas contribuições dos estudos de Oliveira-Formosinho e Araújo (2008a); Oliveira-Formosinho e Araújo (2008b); Oliveira-Formosinho e Lino (2008) e Cruz (2008) a respeito da escuta das crianças, foi realizada entrevista com 17 crianças de 4 a 8 anos. A partir deste estudo, compreendemos que as crianças, além de perceberem a situacionalidade em que nos encontramos, apontam perspectivas a respeito de um possível tempo pós pandemia.The pandemic caused by the coronavirus will go down in history. Health measures to contain its progress, guided by the OMS, were drastic, which brought about a change in the relationships between people. In this article, we aim to hear the narratives of children from different regions of Brazil about their experiences in and about the Covid-19 pandemic. Supported by the contributions of the studies by Oliveira-Formosinho & Araújo (2008a); Oliveira-Formosinho & Araújo (2008b); Oliveira-Formosinho & Lino (2008) and Cruz (2008) about listening to children, an interview was carried out with 17 children from 4 to 8 years old. From this study, we understand that children, in addition to understanding the situation in which we find ourselves, point out perspectives regarding a possible post-pandemic time. Abstract With standardized methodology and nomenclature, the sequence stratigraphy aims to characterize multi-scale cyclical units of genetically related rocks into a hierarchical chronostratigraphic framework. From facies to basin scale, the stacking patterns and stratigraphic surfaces are recognized as sequence elements. In parallel, Earth sciences have developed a sophisticated understanding of geological processes (tectonic, climatic, and eustatic) that produce the main cyclicity observed in the sedimentary rock record. This review paper discusses how the elaboration of hierarchical stratigraphic frameworks that incorporate the knowledge of these periodic geological processes — from high- to low-frequencies — as the control of generation and preservation of sequences — from high- to low-resolutions — guarantees objective results in predicting vertical recurrence and the lateral correlation of genetic stratigraphic units. This interpretive approach of cyclic stratigraphic analysis supports the development of effective observable criteria to identify and rank sequences in multiple scales, based on cycle anatomy, recurrence, vertical trends, and mappability. This methodological improvement reduces the inaccuracies and contradictions of traditional conceptual models based on fully preserved three-dimensional depositional systems.

RESUMO Neste artigo apresentamos alguns resultados de uma pesquisa cujo objetivo foi o de investigar processos de integração de tecnologias digitais ao currículo escolar, identificando desafios e dificuldades que emergem de práticas pedagógicas em processos de integração. As questões que nortearam o desenvolvimento da pesquisa foram: como tecnologias digitais podem ser integradas ao currículo escolar com vistas a inovar práticas pedagógicas e o currículo? Que desafios e dificuldades emergem de práticas pedagógicas em processos de integração de tecnologias digitais ao currículo escolar? Que ações de formação de professores podem contribuir com processos de integração de tecnologias digitais ao currículo escolar? Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, foram realizados estudos sobre integração de tecnologias digitais ao currículo escolar e formação de professores para uso de tecnologias digitais, articulados ao desenvolvimento de ações em escolas. Neste artigo iremos dialogar sobre processos iniciais de integração de tecnologia digital ao currículo investigados em três escolas públicas: um processo foi iniciado em parceria com professoras dos anos iniciais, outro em parceria com professores do Ensino Médio, e um terceiro processo foi desenvolvido em uma disciplina de graduação, no Ensino Superior. Os processos se caracterizam como inovadores, mas ficou evidente a necessidade de ações contínuas de formação de professores e investimento em infraestrutura tecnológica nas escolas para intensificar processos de integração nas escolas investigadas.

RESUMO Neste trabalho, investiga-se a atuação do Instituto Ayrton Senna (IAS) nas redes municipais e estadual do estado do Rio Grande do Sul (RS). A pesquisa subsidiou-se no viés da sociologia crítica, especificamente da metodologia de etnografia de rede, de Stephen Ball, a fim de analisar o contexto de influência, envolvendo as políticas educacionais por meio do uso de novas fontes de dados virtuais. Situam-se as parcerias público-privadas (PPP) como novos mecanismos de privatização, no contexto da globalização, das redefinições do Estado e dos movimentos de Nova Gestão Pública (NGP) e governança. A pesquisa sobre o IAS revelou sua forte atuação e rede de influência política com programas de alfabetização e gestão da educação, e desdobramentos importantes nas concepções e práticas educacionais.

Abstract This study presents new sedimentology data and attempts to understand coastal processes, sedimentary dynamics and stratigraphic patterns of the Rio Bonito Formation (early Permian) in Paraná Basin, southern Brazil. The study was performed based on the description of five cores, located in a small-scale area - São Gabriel City - in Rio Grande do Sul State, southern Brazil. Eighteen facies were described and grouped into nine facies associations. Later, these facies associations were then grouped into three depositional systems: fluvial, tide-dominated estuary and wave-dominated shallow-marine depositional systems. A paleoenvironmental evolution is proposed using three block diagrams showing the paleoenvironmental stage (S1, S2, and S3). S1 contains the oldest part of the sedimentary record with predominance of fluvial system deposits, S2 comprises dominantly estuarine system deposits, and S3 is mostly composed of shallow-marine deposits. Stratigraphic framework showed a general retrogradacional tendency, with thickness variations along the systems tracts that allowed for the construction of a curve of accommodation changes to the Rio Bonito Formation in the region of São Gabriel during the early Permian. This study contributes to a better understanding of the fluvial discharges, tidal and oscillatory (wave) currents and their interactions and dominances along stratigraphic records of coastal deposits.

Este estudo teve por objetivo identificar as atividades desenvolvidas no trabalho das enfermeiras da atenção básica, em Unidades Básicas de Saúde que ainda seguem o modelo tradicional de assistência à saúde e a Estratégia Saúde da Família. Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, com a utilização de triangulação para a coleta e análise de dados obtidos por meio de entrevista e observação. Foram entrevistadas 20 enfermeiras de 11 Unidades Básicas de Saúde, de quatro municípios da região Sul do Brasil, entre março a maio de 2013. Os achados sinalizam que o trabalho das enfermeiras muito se assemelha nas unidades investigadas, nos dois modelos assistenciais, nos quais elas se esforçam para se adequar a política prescrita pelo Ministério da Saúde, bem como as atividades que predominam são as de cunho assistencial. Conclui-se que as ações fragmentadas ainda são constantes em ambos os modelos; as limitações se referem especialmente às condições de trabalho, e ainda existe uma incongruência com a política prescrita pelo Ministério da Saúde.

Nesse artigo discute-se a atenção primária à saúde no Brasil como espaço potencial de criatividade, favorecido pela implantação de um novo modelo de atenção. Apresentam-se expressões da criatividade no trabalho, entendendo-as como um processo social participativo originado a partir das potências locais, onde indivíduos agem integrados a coletivos de trabalho, movidos por desconforto intelectual que os impulsiona a enfrentar os constrangimentos do meio e a encontrar as reservas de alternativas presentes no contexto.

Perceivers often view individuals described as “warm” to be generally positive and individuals described as “cold” to be generally negative. Consistent with the tenets of Construal Level Theory, McCarthy and Skowronski (2011) demonstrated this difference was larger among perceivers who were instructed the information was psychologically distant rather than psychologically near; however, those results have never been subjected to replication attempts. To test the replicability of those results, we closely replicated the methods of McCarthy and Skowronski (2011) Study 1b at eight separate data collection sites and pooled the results into a random-effects meta-analysis. Within the replication attempts, the overall effect was not significantly different from zero (d = 0.10, 95% CI [–0.01, 0.22]) and an equivalence test confirmed this effect was smaller than our smallest effect size of interest. However, when the original study was incorporated into the meta-analysis, the overall effect was significantly different from zero in the theoretically-consistent direction (d = 0.13, 95% CI [0.02, 0.24]). The weight of the overall evidence suggests the traits “warm” and “cold” are more influential among participants who were presented with information that was psychologically distant; however, this effect is small. Future research should try to identify more potent moderators, which would make the effect more affordable to detect.

This qualitative study analises the National Programme for Improvement of Access and Quality of the Basic Health Care focusing on the reorganization of work processes: self-evaluation, continuous education, institutional support and monitoring. Based on document analysis, direct observations and interviews with workers in the Federal District. The results point to lack of training of team members for the adherence to the programme; parcial/distorted view about its proposal; weakenesses in the monitoring; incipient self-evaluations processes; lack of institutional support; inadequate permanent education; unsatisfactory working conditions; and deficits in the support diagnosys network. It should be considered that changes in work processes require time to be implemented and that improvement in the quality of services goes beyound prescriptions and fullfilment of standards and norms.

Este artigo é resultado de um estudo que teve por objetivo analisar possibilidades de aprendizagem cooperativa em ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem de disciplinas e cursos oferecidos na modalidade de Educação a Distância (EaD). O estudo foi realizado a partir da análise de registros em fóruns virtuais de disciplinas e cursos, apresentados em uma tese de doutorado e duas dissertações de mestrado. A análise dos dados foi orientada pelas pesquisas sobre aprendizagem cooperativa de Jean Piaget. O que se concluiu é que a vivência da aprendizagem cooperativa em ambientes virtuais depende de alguns fatores, dentre eles, a atitude de habitante do professor e do aluno. O habitante é aquele que aprende ao propor, questionar, se responsabilizando pelo ambiente, por sua aprendizagem e pela do grupo, ao realizar coordenações mentais externas e internas para a apreensão do objeto em estudo.

Neste trabalho, exploramos o processo social e discursivo de popularização da ciência (PC) a partir dos conceitos de gênero discursivo, recontextualização e intertextualidade. Assumimos uma perspectiva interdisciplinar, aliando princípios congruentes da Sociorretórica, da Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional e da perspectiva sócio-histórica do Círculo de Bakhtin. Enfocando o processo discursivo da midiatização de pesquisas científicas na internet, tomando por referência 60 notícias de PC em inglês, publicadas nos sítios eletrônicos da BBC News, Scientific American, Nature e ABC Science, entre 2004 e 2008. A mobilização de um conteúdo ideacional da ciência (uma nova pesquisa, sua metodologia e seus resultados) no contexto secundário da mídia jornalística eletrônica é implementada por um movimento de recontextualização de (partes ou todo de) textos e discursos da esfera de atividade científica para outra esfera jornalística, dando visibilidade à intertextualidade como um fluxo contínuo entre gêneros discursivos e contextos de um mesmo sistema de produção e manutenção da ciência. Nesse fluxo intertextual, forças de contração e expansão dialógicas são articuladas, resultando em um efeito monológico que evidencia uma visão tradicional de ciência.In this paper we explore the social and discursive process of science popularization (SP) departing from the concepts of discourse genre, recontextualization and intertextuality. We adopt an interdisciplinary perspective, associating congruent principles from Socio-Rhetorics, Systemic-Functional Linguistics and the Socio-Historical perspective of the Bakhtinian Circle. We focus on the discursive process of the midiatization of scientific research on the internet, considering 60 SP news texts in English, published online on the BBC News, Scientific American, Nature and ABC Science sites, between 2004 and 2008. Mobilization of the ideational content of science (a new research, its methodology and results) in the secondary context of the electronic jornalistic media is implemented by a recontextualization movement of (parts or whole of) texts and discourses from the sphere of scientific activity to another journalistic sphere, giving visibility to intertextuality as a continuous flux between discourse genres and contexts from the same system of production and maintenance of science. In this intertextual flux, forces of dialogic contraction and expansion are articulated, resulting in a monologic efect which evidences a traditional view of science.

Neste artigo interpreta-se a Rechtslehre kantiana enquanto uma doutrina jurídica crítica, compreensível à luz do projeto crítico – iniciado em Kritik der reinen Vernunft e adaptado ao campo prático em Kritik der praktischen Vernunft. Em particular, objetiva-se destacar, além da aprioridade, do caráter sistemático e da busca pela completude dos princípios jurídicos, o emprego da teoria de solubilidade de problemas da razáo em geral nos "prolegômenos" da Rechtslehre. O estudo desta parte introdutória se justifica por apresentar a divisáo suprema do sistema segundo princípios, donde se deriva uma divisáo da doutrina do direito, que determina o objeto (Gegenstand) e, por conseguinte, o campo dessa ciência particular e a discussáo do procedimento de pesquisa. Tal moldura a priori da doutrina do direito é o fundamento da sequente teoria kantiana do direito privado e do direito público. Num quadro maior, esse artigo pode ser compreendido enquanto uma renúncia à leitura de que a Rechtslehre kantiana náo cumpre com as exigências da filosofia crítica – formulada por Hermann Cohen (Ethik des reinen Willens, 1904) e detalhada por Christian Ritter (Der Rechtsgedanke Kants nach den frühen Quellen, 1971).

Considerando la actualidad del tema y su utilización, no solamente en el plano teórico, sino también en el delineamiento de las prácticas multiprofisionales, este artículo tiene por objetivo trazar un panorama del debate sobre el tema de la interdisciplinaridad, identificando el contexto de su surgimiento, su relevancia, las principales concepciones, obstáculos y perspectivas para su materialización, según autores identificados en la literatura contemporánea, como referencias para el tema. El estudio señala que la interdisciplinaridad puede ser analizada tanto en el plano epistemológico como en el de la resolución de problemas de la vida práctica. Se concluye que la búsqueda por respuestas a los problemas que afligen a la humanidad plantea la interdisciplinaridad como un camino necesario, desde una perspectiva de compartir saberes para el análisis de los fenómenos y hacia la intervención en la realidad, constituyéndose un proceso de conocimiento y acción.

In this article the kantian Rechtslehre is interpreted as a critical juridical doctrine, understandable under the critical project – started in Kritik der reinen Vernunft and adapted to the practical field in Kritik der praktischen Vernunft. In particular, it is aimed to highlight, besides the apriority, the systematic character and the search for the completeness of the juridical principles, the use of the solubility of problems theory of the reasoning in general in the prolegomenon of Rechtslehre. The study of this preliminary part is justified in presenting the supreme division of the system according to principals, where it is derived a division of the law doctrine, which determines the object (Gegenstand) and, therefore, the field of this particular science and the discussion of the research procedure. Such a priori frame of the Law doctrine is the basis of the following Kantian theory of private law and public law. In a bigger picture, this article can be understood as a renouncement to the idea that the Kantian Rechtslehre does not follow the requirements of the critical philosophy – created by Hermann Cohen (Ethik des reinen Willens, 1904) and detailed by Christian Ritter (Der Rechtsgedanke Kants nach den frühen Quellen, 1971).

A presença, ainda que parcial, do procedimento categorial no direito privado em Metaphysische Anfangsgründe der Rechtslehre é inegável, assim como a sua importância para a construçáo da teoria da posse. Uma prova adicional aos próprios fragmentos da primeira parte do direito natural (cf. MS R, AB 59, 79, 82, 90, 93, 119-121) sáo os esboços categoriais contidos nos Manuscritos da Rechtslehre (particularmente, em Vorarbeiten zum Privatrecht e em Zusammenhängender, signierter Entwurf in Kant's handschriflicher Nachlaß). Os objetivos desse artigo sáo: 1) expor a coerência interna entre os esboços categoriais do direito privado presentes em Vorarbeiten zur Rechtslehre, e 2) apresentar a correspondência entre esses esboços e o texto jurídico de 1797. O parâmetro de avaliaçáo e de comparaçáo seráo as observações kantianas quanto às categorias nas obras Kritik der reinen Vernunft e Kritik der praktischen Vernunft. Apresentar os jornais e revistas em que o jornalista Olavo Bilac publicava seus textos é objetivo central deste artigo, que valoriza a recuperação de dezenas de crônicas publicadas entre 1890 e 1908 por aquele que ficou conhecido somente como o ‘príncipe dos poetas. Os textos, recolhidos na Biblioteca Nacional e no Arquivo Edgard Leuenroth, da Unicamp, demonstram a importância de Bilac como precursor de idéias e debates que perpassaram todo século XX e continuam atuais. É assim que peço ‘licença’ ao poeta parnasiano para mostrar o jornalista Olavo Bilac e sua importância dentro da história da literatura e da imprensa nacional.

The existence of the categorical procedure on private law in Metaphysische Anfangsgründe der Rechtslehre, albeit small, is unquestionable, as well as its importance for the construction of the possession theory. An additional proof to the fragments of the first part of the natural right (cf. MS R, AB 59, 79, 82, 90, 93, 119-121) are the categorical outlines included in Rechtslehre manuscripts (particularly, in Vorarbeiten zum Privatrecht and in Zusammenhängender, signierter Entwurf in Kant's handschriflicher Nachlaß). The objectives of this paper are: 1) to show the internal coherence among the private law categorical outlines in Vorarbeiten zur Rechtslehre, and 2) to present the relation between these outlines and the legal text of 1797. The parameter of evaluation and comparison will be the Kantian observations concerning the categories in Kritik der reinen Vernunft and Kritik der praktischen Vernunft works.

A Estratégia de Saúde da Família tem a redefinição do processo de trabalho com a articulação/integração de várias práticas profissionais na perspectiva interdisciplinar como um de seus principais desafios. No cotidiano de trabalho, os trabalhadores tomam decisões num confronto entre as prescrições impostas pelo meio e aquelas formuladas por eles mesmos, num processo de renormalização que se concretiza em práticas mais ou menos integradas. Conhecer os saberes oriundos dessa experiência pode contribuir para reorientar o trabalho em equipe no cotidiano dos serviços. Sendo assim, este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a interdisciplinaridade prescrita para o trabalho na Estratégia de Saúde da Família, a partir das percepções e expressões dos residentes e preceptores que participaram de um Curso de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde da Família, na Região Sul do Brasil. Trata-se de um estudo de natureza qualitativa, realizado com 11 residentes de sete profissões de saúde e cinco preceptores. Os dados foram coletados através de entrevistas semi-estruturadas e grupo focal. A análise qualitativa seguiu os três passos sugeridos por Demo (2004): contextualização sócio-histórica, análise formal e interpretação, orientada pelo referencial teórico do processo de trabalho em saúde, da interdisciplinaridade e da ergologia. Da análise dos dados surgiram três grandes temas: Concepção de interdisciplinaridade; para acontecer o trabalho interdisciplinar; e contexto político-institucional. Concluímos que, no âmbito do que é prescrito, a interdisciplinaridade configura-se como algo contraditório e que dependeria, fundamentalmente, de atitudes individuais dos sujeitos envolvidos. No entanto, a prescrição idealizada se expressa em um cenário histórico-social que não depende só do sujeito, mas também de como ele se relaciona com o meio e com os coletivos de trabalho que lhe dão sustentação.

This work addresses the problem of the war experience and itsdocumentary record by the figure of the soldier. In the second war in Iraq the soldiers have been converted into camara photographers and chroniclers of the conflict. Their identity, determined by their condition of participants, changes the poetic representation of documentary; invested with the new audiovisual technology, they are launched to record on behalf of values which we must question the embossing in such films.

O texto examina a trajetória dos movimentos sociais no Brasil do período da ditadura de 1964 aos dias atuais, considerando as modificações ocorridas especialmente na relação entre movimentos e Estado e na construção de uma nova forma de ser movimento – articulação em redes interorganizacionais mais horizontalizadas. Destaca o sentido da autonomia x institucionalização dos movimentos em relação ao Estado em quatro momentos desse período. Visa, enfim, entender de que modo, por meio de uma atuação em redes, promove-se o empoderamento da sociedade civil no combate à exclusão social, pela indivisibilidade dos vários tipos de direitos humanos e propõe-se uma política de controle social pela cidadania.

INTRODUCTION: Due to the commitment by the Government of Kenya (GoK) and international donors to address HIV/AIDS, Kenya has some of Africas most developed health infrastructure for tackling the crisis. Despite this commitment, significant gaps exist in the national HIV/AIDS monitoring and evaluation (Mand E) system. To identify these gaps and opportunities for improvement, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention funded the Strengthening HIV Strategic Information in Kenya project, which conducted an organizational HIV M"and E{" capacity rapid needs assessment (RNA). METHODS: The project included an in-depth desk review of national documents, policies, tools, and international best practices. National, regional, and district officials from government agencies, development partners, and implementing partners participated in key informant interviews and focus group discussions. Given the large number of regions and districts, purposive sampling was used to select 16 facilities in 8 districts across 2 regions based on the general quality of the reported HIV data and the number of partners supporting the regions. RESULTS: RNA findings revealed tremendous improvements at the national level and in the various subsystems that contribute to the overall HIV strategic information. There also were significant gaps, including in a lack of M and E guidelines, parallel reporting systems, feedback given to subnational levels, and data use and general data management and use capacity at subnational levels. CONCLUSION: An urgent need exists for the development of national "M and E" guidelines and a comprehensive training curriculum. To ensure success further, capacity building for subnational levels should be conducted and feedback channels to subnational staff should be established and maintained.

O último número de 2012 da Revista Tempus Actas em Saúde Coletiva traz como tradição a apresentação de artigos em temas livre, finalizando o ciclo de quatro publicações anuais da Revista. Este ano porém, além das contribuições recebidas e analisadas por nossa equipe de pareceristas, apresentamos a conclusão dos trabalhos oriundos do 1º Seminário Internacional sobre Potencialidades e Inovações nos Processos de Trabalho em Saúde, realizado em Brasília, em abril de 2012.

Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) is a mature and very established technique, frequently used in many fields of applications ranging from natural product analysis to chemical or pharmaceutical applications. The introduction of a commercially available TLC–MS interface was a major step complementing the ease of use of TLC with structural elucidation power of mass spectrometry (MS). The TLC-MS interface simplifies the workflow dramatically to gain structural information directly from TLC separations. This article describes the potential of TLC-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) utilizing the TLC-MS interface to straightforwardly characterize zones of interest by NMR spectroscopy with a focus on quantification of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in formulations and identification of active principles in plant extracts.

Considerando a dupla dimensão do trabalho em saúde, de intervenção na vida dos outros e ao mesmo tempo de formação, este artigo se propõe a realizar uma aproximação da atividade de trabalho de algumas profissões de saúde, sujeitos de pesquisa de estudos realizados pelas autoras. Buscou-se identificar como esses sujeitos apresentam e analisam a relação entre os saberes de seu próprio campo de formação e o saber das outras profissões com as quais interagem no seu cotidiano. A reflexão ancora-se nos conceitos e categorias analíticas da abordagem ergológica em diálogo com os depoimentos dos profissionais. Discute-se a especificidade do trabalho coletivo e da transmissão de saberes da e na saúde e a necessidade de compreendê-los numa perspectiva capaz de dialogar com outros e novos pontos de vista. Evidencia-se a riqueza de saberes e a potência que se descortina se consolidarmos um modelo de atenção capaz de conjugar a valorização do saber de cada profissão e potencializá-lo mediante a criação de dispositivos que instituam coletivos de trabalho sinérgicos.

The level of Pt loadings in polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFC) is still one of the main hindrances for implementation of PEFCs into the market. Therefore, new catalyst and electrode preparation methods such as sputtering are of current interest, because they allow thin film production and have many cost saving advantages for electrode preparation. This paper summarises some of the most important studies done for sputtered PEFCs, including non carbon supported electrodes. Furthermore, it will be shown that an understanding of the main morphological differences between sputtered and ink-based electrodes is crucial for a better understanding of the resulting fuel cell performance. Especially, the electrochemical surface area (ECSA) plays a key role for a further increase in PEFC performance of sputtered electrodes. The higher surface specific activities ik,spec of sputtered compared to ink-based electrodes will be discussed as advantage of the thin film formation. The so- called particle size effect, known in literature for several years, will be discussed as reason for the higher ik,spec of sputtered electrodes. Therefore, a model system on a rotating disc electrode (RDE) was studied. For sputtered PEFC cathodes Pt loadings were lowered to 100 ?gPt/cm2, yet with severe performance losses compared to ink-based electrodes. Still, for Pt sputtered electrodes on a carbon support structure remarkably high current densities of 0.46 A/cm2 at 0.6 V could be achieved.

Polymer electrolyte and solid oxide are the two fuel cell types (PEFC, SOFC) under development in Switzerland. The very distinct operating temperatures of 80°C (PEFC) and 800–950°C (SOFC) impose fundamentally different requirements upon the nature of the fuel; normally purified H2 for the former (CO trace) and usually synthesis gas for the latter (H2, CO as main constituents). Apart from stored hydrogen, the most relevant fuels are primary hydrocarbons (natural gas, biogas, liquids,...), that then need processing (chemical conversion, cleaning) up to a level compatible with the fuel cell catalysts. These processes are briefly reviewed. Fuel compositions with an emphasis on impurities are given. Two application examples from Swiss R&D are presented: gasoline conversion to high purity H2 for PEFC and contaminated biogas processing for SOFC.

Test and measurement methods, particularly electrochemical methods, applicable to fuel cell technology are reviewed. The difficulties of application of diagnostic tools and interpretation of results are highlighted. Specific requirements of the different fuel cell types, both high and low temperature variants, are dealt with. Finally, recently developed in situ imaging methods and their diagnostic significance are presented.

The commercial success of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) will to a large extent be determined by the nature, properties, functionality, and cost of the electrochemical sub-components used in the membrane electrode assembly (MEA). Materials research activities in Switzerland for the PEFC are being pursued at the Paul Scherrer Institut (Villigen AG) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne with different objectives. The radiation grafted proton exchange membrane developed at the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) has been brought to a near-product-like quality level with encouraging performance close to state-of-the-art materials and a life-time of several thousand hours. Furthermore, the membrane shows low methanol crossover in the direct methanol fuel cell. In addition, polyarylene block copolymer membranes have been investigated as an option for fluorine-free membranes. The electrocatalysis of Pt in acidic solution and in contact with a solid electrolyte, the development of new methanol oxidation and oxygen reduction catalysts, and co-sputtering of Pt and carbon as an alternative method for catalyst preparation are areas of fundamental research. More applied research is performed in the characterization of commercial electrodes in single cells, using standard as well as advanced diagnostic tools developed in-house. This article gives an overview over the research and development projects in Switzerland related to materials and components for the PEFC.

Starting with the work of C.F. Schönbein, Switzerland has made important contributions to the history of fuel cell research. Starting with early developments in the first half of the 20th century, some highlights are mentioned in this article. After a first wave of industrial interest in the 1960s, R&D in SOFC technology started about 1990 and is now on the road towards commercial introduction since about 2000. In parallel, polymer electrolyte fuel cell research has advanced at research institutions, including work on components, stacks, and complete systems.

The dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptatrienyl residue is introduced as platform for the high-yield synthesis of new rigid phosphanes (tropp ligand system) and phosphiranes (BABAR-phos); strained three-membered heterocycles. With tropp as ligands, transition metal complexes with unusual low oxidation states at the metal center could be prepared and isolated. Especially mononuclear paramagnetic rhodium(O) and iridium(O) complexes could be studied in detail. The BABAR-phos compounds show very high thermal and chemical stability, i.e. they are remarkably stable against oxygen, sulfur, strong alkylating agents, and aqueous acid and base. Rhodium(l) complexes with BABAR-phos proved to be highly stable active catalyst precursors for hydroborations.

A state-of-the-art in radiation-induced graft copolymerization of styrene and acrylic acid monomers into Teflon-FEP films is presented with a view to develop proton exchange membranes for various applications. This process offers an easy control over the composition of a membrane by careful variation in radiation dose, dose rate, monomer concentration, and temperature of the grafting reaction. By varying the nature and the amount of the grafted content, it is possible to achieve a membrane with desired physico-chemical properties. In this paper, a correlation among the degree of grafting, structural changes, and properties of graft copolymer membranes is discussed.

RESUMO: Apresenta-se um recorte de pesquisa de doutoramento que teve como objetivo principal propiciar a estudantes de curso de licenciatura em Ciências o uso e a significação da linguagem química mediante a escrita e a reescrita em processo de orientação qualificada. Para a produção de dados, foram utilizados princípios da análise textual discursiva segundo categorias de análise a priori e elaboração de categorias emergentes. A discussão contempla os resultados da análise dos textos dos estudantes e de orientação com atenção, em especial, para a interação discursiva e a possibilidade de apropriação conceitual e evolução conceitual. Os resultados permitem afirmar que o uso da linguagem química pelos estudantes em espaços orientados possibilitou avanços na significação conceitual em química, com diferentes níveis de generalização.

Resumo: O Gráben de Camamu corresponde à extremidade sul de um sistema de grábens conectados limitado pelo sistema de falhas de Maragogipe. Evidências estruturais e estratigráficas indicam que os depósitos deste gráben foram controlados por tectônica rifte. Foram reconhecidas duas sequências deposicionais. A base da Sequência I é composta por leques aluviais provenientes da margem leste, depositados durante a rotação do embasamento. Estes leques eram dominados por fluxos gravitacionais e por canais entrelaçados rasos com dunas eólicas subordinadas. A drenagem principal era caracterizada por canais entrelaçados profundos que fluíam para ENE, transpassando os altos estruturais da margem leste. O padrão agradacional e as características arquiteturais do sistema fluvial caracterizam um trato de sistemas de baixa acomodação. Sobre estes depósitos se estabelece um sistema fluvial distributário, caracterizado por canais fluviais de carga mista que perdem grande parte de sua energia em direção as suas porções distais, onde dominam inundações em lençol de baixa energia em uma planície de inundação com lagos efêmeros. O padrão de empilhamento retrogradacional é atribuído ao aumento nas taxas de subsidência tectônica. A Sequência II marca um rápido avanço do sistema distributário após uma erosão generalizada da planície de inundação causada pela queda no nível de base. Esta sequência é composta por canais fluviais de carga de fundo com preenchimento multiepisódico, que se intercalam com depósitos de inundações em lençol arenosas e dunas eólicas subordinadas. A arquitetura fluvial e o padrão agradacional indicam condições de baixas taxas de acomodação.

A Bacia do Araripe é a mais extensa das bacias interiores do Nordeste do Brasil, apresentando história geológica mais complexa. O intervalo estudado corresponde às formações Missão Velha e Abaiara, aflorantes na porção centro-oeste do Vale do Cariri. Visando subsidiar os estudos de diagênese, foi realizada uma análise faciológica que permitiu identificar dez fácies sedimentares, individualizadas, consoantes às diferentes litologias e principais estruturas sedimentares. O estudo petrográfico permitiu classificar os litótipos como quartzarenitos, que apresentam arcabouço rico em grãos de quartzo, feldspatos e fragmentos líticos e, subordinadamente, minerais pesados. A história diagenética mostrou-se bastante complexa, sendo caracterizada por uma grande variedade de fases que se sucederam durante os estágios de eo, meso e telodiagênese. O estágio eodiagenético é marcado pela infiltração mecânica de argilas e pelo ínicio da compactação mecânica. O estágio mesodiagenético é caracterizado pelo final da compactação mecânica, compactação química, crescimentos secundários de quartzo e feldspato, cimentação de calcita, dissolução, formação de caulinita autigênica, alteração dos grãos para clorita e illita e precipitação de minerais opacos. O estágio telodiagenético é evidenciado pela oxidação de grãos, matriz e cimentos presentes. Tais informações permitiram realizar um estudo comparativo das formações estudadas.

ABSTRACT: The present work aims to characterize the Neo-Jurassic to Neocomian succession of the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin, located in northeast region of Brazil, in order to discover the influence of tectonics on sedimentation in detailed scale and thus separating this sedimentary succession in tectono-stratigraphic units. Fieldwork observations and stratigraphic sections analysis allowed subdividing this rift succession into three depositional units that indicate different paleogeographic contexts. Unit I, equivalent to the top of Serraria Formation, is characterized by braided fluvial channel deposits, with paleocurrent direction to SE; unit II, corresponding to the base of Feliz Deserto Formation, is composed of anastomosed fluvial channel and floodplain facies associations; and unit III, equivalent to the major part of Feliz Deserto Formation, is characterized by delta deposits with polymodal paleocurrent pattern. The changes of depositional system, as well as paleocurrent direction, suggest that the previously described units were deposited in different evolutionary stages of rifting. Units I and II represent the record of a wide and shallow basin associated with the first stage of rifting. Unit I is characterized by incipient extensional stress generating a wide synclinal depression, associated to the low rate of accommodation and low tectonic activity. These two parameters progressively increase in unit II. The paleocurrent direction of unit I indicates that the depocenter of this wide basin was located at SE of the studied area. No conclusion could be done on paleocurrent from unit II because of the low amount of measurements. Unit III suggests a second stage marked by a deeper basin context, with a high rate of accommodation space associated with the lateral connection of faults and individualization of the half-graben. The scattering in the paleocurrent direction in this unit indicates sedimentary influx coming from several sectors of the half-graben. The boundary between these two stages is marked by a flooding surface that indicates an extremely fast transition and suggests a radical change in geometric characteristics of the basin due to the increase of tectonic activity.

From supplier's accounts preserved in the Archives Nationales among papers belonging to Louis XVI's brother, the comte d'Artois, it is possible to get an accurate idea of the interior of the "Pavillon de Bagatelle" which Belanger built in 1777 in the then popular Neo-Classical style, and to reconstitute the prince's bedroom which, in the form of a military tent and adorned with symbols of war, was considered to be innovative in decoration.
