The article covers various topics, including the desecration of the Cologne Synagogue in 1959, the role of journalists in early West Germany, the struggle for academic freedom at the Free University of Berlin in the 1960s, the relationship between Joachim Gauck and Helga Hirsch, as well as the silence of legal elites regarding the past of German jurisprudence during National Socialism. The author also mentions the rejection of an article on the past of German jurisprudence by the FAZ (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) and the collective concealment of a covert constitutional amendment by the German Bundestag and Bundesrat in 2017. In this text, the author criticizes the constitutional issues related to the introduction of "marriage for all" in Germany. He criticizes the fact that the societal dimension of this change was not mentioned in the legislative bodies and that the constitutionality of the law was not sufficiently discussed. The author accuses the Chancellor of bypassing constitutional review of the law with her statement in a women's magazine. He also criticizes the lack of media response to his inquiries on other topics. The author laments the decline in morals and the lack of press freedom. [Extracted from the article]
