- Abstract
In the history of archaeology, Cosimo De Giorgi is known mainly for his discoveries in Lecce in the early 20th century when, in the area of Piazza S. Oronzo, during excavations at the 'Isola del Governatore', he unearthed the amphitheatre, the most representative monument of Roman Lupiae to date. On the same occasion, De Giorgi brought to light, for the first time in Lecce, a sequence of layers referable to the ancient town, thus initiating research on the Messapian and Roman phases that, until then, were attested by erratic finds that had been presented in an inaccurate or fanciful way. The results of these important investigations were published in 1907 in "Lecce sotterranea", an accurate report that provides insight into De Giorgi's working method, based on patient excavation, the careful recording and prudent interpretation of the archaeological data, and the drawing up of plans showing the precise position of ancient artefacts. In this paper, with the help of largely unpublished documents, "Lecce sotterranea" is the starting point for outlining the profile and characteristics of Cosimo De Giorgi as an archaeologist. Its aim is to highlight the European dimension of the scholar by recalling the network of relations that he established with the most famous archaeologists of the time, as well as the battles he vigorously fought to excavate, conserve and make accessible the amphitheatre, which, thanks to his efforts, was declared a 'national monument' in 1906. The aim of this paper is also to examine De Giorgi's activities in making the results of his research known to both the general public and the institutions, and the legacy of his discoveries and intuitions, that are aspects of considerable importance. - Abstract
The Spanish military participation in the French army during the Indochina War (1946-1954) is relatively unknown, but the destiny of the Spanish participants stays even more in the dark. One of our purposes, in this paper, is to uncover these potholes in Franco-Spanish historiography, thus starting with the explanation of the background of the French presence in the Indochinese Federation. In order to understand the reason why Spanish volunteers served in the French Foreign Legion, we shall examine their situation during the first decades of the twentieth century, and more specifically, during the government of Francisco Franco. Thus, the main objective of our paper is to study, with the help of the French military platform, Mémoire des hommes, the Spanish republicans on the run from the fascist regime, who sacrificed their lives in faithful service to France during the Anti-French Resistance War. - Abstract
The paper moves from a theoretical premise, concerning the "fruitful connection" between theology and pastoral practice. Between these two moments, the theological and properly theoretical one, and the pastoral, meaning the practical one, we can see a nexus of virtuous circularity that entails to think the one together with the other. In the context of the historical and exegetical complexity concerning the theoretical topic and the practice of the "divorced and remarried", the paper aims to highlight the basic structure of the nexus between accompaning, discerning and integrating as it can be thought from Amoris laetitia, the theological reception of the VIII chapter about the topic of "divorced and remarried", the reception of Amoris laetitia in some interesting pastoral papers written by Italian Bishops and lastly, a final consideration which intends to show how Amoris laetitia can be a precious occasion for a general renewing and recalibrating of pastoral practice as regards to marriage. - Abstract
This paper is going to analyse the sources of Pope Francis's thought in order to highlight its complexity and originality. Considering the origin of Bergoglio's intellectual biography this paper intend to highlight the role of both Latin American and European intellectuals influencing his life and education. The significant meeting between Bergoglio and Gaston Fessard represented the link with the dialectic vision of Romano Guardini and the thought of Alberto Methol Ferré. Looking at these and other intellectuals who considered church and life as complexio oppositorum Pope Francis is able to express an original and rich reflection facing the main challenges of our time. - Abstract
The essay addresses the issue of decent work, analysing it through the lens of working time. A universal and even foundational topic for labour law, it proves capable of responding both to the more traditional needs of protecting workers' health and to the more modern ones, which today can be traced back to the articulated and complex principle of decent work (work-life balance, gender equality, employment inclusion of the disabled, and so on). In this context, the paper seeks to direct the reader's attention also beyond the present circumstances, to ask whether, in the combination of the different perspectives involved, there is not the risk of losing sight of the values that have always inspired the genetic heritage of (labour) law and which, it is hoped, will continue to denote its future developments: the importance of work for the fulfilment of the person who performs it and for the progress of society, well beyond the quantitative data of the time dedicated to it and the remuneration that may derive from it. - Abstract
The paper deals with examine social citizenship in the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The study aims to understand whether social citizenship is capable of reproducing at the supranational level the rules of reciprocity and solidarity typical of national welfare systems. Indeed, the case-law of the Court of Justice wavering between opening and closing spaces of solidarity makes it difficult to access welfare benefits for European citizens who make use of free movement in the EU, especially those who are economically inactive. As a result, this jurisprudence risks forming, in the EU legal system, a logic of sharing social solidarity subordinated to the individual's contribution to the production of economic wealth in the host Member State. - Abstract
This paper analyses the multilevel protection of rights from two perspectives. On the one hand, taking into consideration the legal and institutional contexts of each level in relation to the configuration in the constitutional state of a symmetry between democracy and rights, i.e. between a certain structure of public power and the protection of rights. The asymmetry inherent in the systemic and institutional contexts of the supranational levels must be understood from the perspective that, in multilevel protection, the interaction between the different levels is as important as the way in which rights are protected at each level. On the other hand, the work takes into account the impact that globalisation and European supranational integration are having on the multilevel protection of rights, which tends to detach the protection of rights from their constitutional substance. A loss of substance of rights that is also partially compensated by increased effectiveness, insofar as the sphere of rights protection is closer to the structural conditions of globalisation, such as the market, and to the rights on which conflicts are concentrated, consumer rights and the right to personal data protection. The paper addresses the issue of the protection of fundamental rights by offering an interpretation aimed at underlining the value of the relationships that are intertwined with increasing frequency at various levels between national and supranational judges, identifying in them a new characteristic of the judicial activity that goes increasingly emerging in a perspective of cooperation to fuel which judges often do not decide the dispute but work in various ways through old and new institutions so that the final decision is increasingly oriented towards safeguarding the fundamental values of the human person. The paper presents an overview on the recovery of Tuscan data (audio and accompanying materials) of the Carta dei Dialetti Italiani (CDI). The study aims at showing the challenges met during the realisation of the CDI and highlighting the importance of recovering and safeguarding a research project largely forgotten by the very same Italian linguistic community. The relationship between oral sources and written documentation collected in the project allows us to observe the construction of the 'linguistic data' precisely from the recovered audio materials. The purpose of the present paper is to reconstruct De Mauro’s interest in sign languages by emphasizing how the perspective on language he offered is fundamental in describing sign languages, but also to recall his civic commitment. From the very beginning of the research in Italian Sign language (LIS) De Mauro supported early investigations and fought for a recognition of LIS and its acceptance on par with other languages. His direct and indirect influence both in the description of this language and in the affairs of the Italian deaf community appears evident even if still little known and recognized. - Abstract
The paper describes the transformative process that is generated by inhabiting the place of “between”, outlining the roots of a philosophy of vulnerability that emphasizes the paideutic and prophetic role of the exiled and fragile. It is through the metaphor of the seaweed that philosopher María Zambrano and philosopher Michel Serres narrate the unconventional condition of the fragile and the exiled: to be out-of-place enough to be able to move to see, opening oneself to the transformation this entails. The two philosophers' thinking is inspired by a poetic and maternal sensibility, that prefers perception to rational thought, listening and observing the world from the bowels, and that accredits the dimension of vulnerability as favored by the philosophical approach. On the occasion of the release of Anima, corpo, relazioni. Storia della filosofia da una prospettiva antropologica, edited by proff. Marianelli, Mauro, Moschini and D’Anna, the paper delves into the strengths and the limits of the anthropological approach in history of philosophy. The article underlines that an authentic anthropological perspective in philosophical issues can only arise by dropping an anthropocentric standpoint: adequate answers to the question of humanity’s position in the world can be found only decentering the human, a process articulated in the textbook through a metaxological framework. - Abstract
This paper considers space and architecture as a mirror of the life of the Church and as an area of evidential value for its historical profile. Therefore, it will try to observe, in space and in its organization, the development of participation, recognized by both precursors and more recent documents as the constitutive dimension of the Church. Among the precursors, the Bolognese Laboratory will be particularly considered to illustrate the reasons that made the archdiocese led by Giacomo Lercaro become a point of international reference on the path of the liturgical reform. Then, considering the Bologna experience, useful criteria can be drawn for an assessment of the current situation, and to measure how, how much and whether participation to the altars has matured into a wider participation of all the people of God in the life of the Church and in the management of its spaces (liturgical, pastoral and educational). - Abstract
This paper reflects about the possibilities of implementation of the diacons' service in order to satisfy the concept of social justice in practical terms. Tin which manner is the ministry of diacons able to interconnect with the service of social justice in the ecclesial environment within the frame of implementation of social justice in a society that is more and more characterised as non-religious? The article pays attention to history of diaconate in the 20th century, in particular to the developments of diaconate in the context of search of social justice. It describes the paradigms within which the diaconate is comprehended and - in its final part - it outlines a perspective for practical implementation. From a thematic standpoint, it belongs to the field of the theology of services, but it also concerns practical theology and ecclesiology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Formulations regarding the patient’s history have not only played an important part in understanding the patient, but interpretations explicitly linking the present with the past have been seen as central to the therapeutic process. In this paper the author considers the role of historical reconstruction in bringing about psychic change. He emphasizes the therapeutic value that lies in the exploration of the way the patient’s history is embodied in his internal object relationships, becoming manifested in the transference-countertransference relationship. The author presents clinical material which he suggests allowed the analyst to follow the way the patient’s internal object relations, coloured by her history, became expressed and played out in the sessions. He suggests that, when these processes can be followed and addressed in the present, this may lead to a diminution in the underlying anxieties. This can thus promote psychic change by freeing the patient’s capacity to achieve a sense of connection with her history, and to tolerate the meaning of what emerges, which illuminates both the present and the past. - Abstract
The paper analyzes the relationship between interpretation and construction, underlining the conjectural value of constructions. The author traces the Freudian conceptualization of interpretation and construction in relation to dreams, transference and resistance, which must be taken into consideration as a priority. The vision of the Kleinian school is also critically explored, specifically regarding the emphasis on the need to provide systematic transference interpretations, which tends to excessively personalize the transference, overriding its value of repetition of the past. Starting from the vision of the French school and Winnicott, it is underlined how the main task of the analytical work is to facilitate the transformation of instinctual impulses into representations to subsequently make them accessible to interpretation. Starting from the difference between interpretation and construction, emphasis is also placed on their different use in neurotic and non-neurotic structures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The paper illustrates an evolving theoretical-clinical study about the relationship between psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy. It comes from the observation of some recurrent phenomena in the context of daily clinical experience. Small variations, apparently accidental, that occur in the setting, and that are an expression of the complex dynamics of the unconscious intersubjective field. The psychoanalytic exploration of the experiences of affective interaction in the setting has brought out an increasingly real dimension of the implicit and its relationship with the unconscious. This pushes the analysis of the therapeutic process and therapeutic action towards a growing consideration of the silent and fruitful work that takes place beyond the symbolic-verbal support, where is a different way to dialogue, to communicate and influence each other. The approach presented aims to demonstrate that it is possible to take into account the growing evidence in the field of affective neuroscience, epigenetics and infant research, preserving the foundations of the psychoanalytic clinical approach developed in the relational context. An empathic, intersubjective and affective approach based on the phenomenological and holistic experience of mother-infant dyadic interaction. The clinical-technical foundation of this approach is the experience of regression in analysis, a condition not only for resurfacing and processing of trauma, but also for interactive repair. - Abstract
The paper takes cue from the current changes occurring in the two emerging sectors named "the green (ecology) and the blue (technology)" by the scholar Floridi on one hand, and from the increasing diffusion of remote communication instruments linked to growing manifestations of psychopathological events of social withdrawal, on the other. While the proliferation of research focused on the increasing incidence of psychological and somatic diseases derived from solitude and loneliness is there for all to see, at the same time it is undeniable that relationships are started and carried on using new media which accentuate both the sense of isolation and omnipotence. These considerations have led the authors to the necessity of contemplating "new analytical practices". They think that one of the most productive ways of dealing with the exponential growth of serious psychic discomfort - especially in young people - is implementing permanently, in their modus agendi, the complex paradigm of a clinical-empirical research approach on oneiric narration. It is known from Jung indeed, that dreams are not only "the essence of the psyche" but also represent essential instruments to comprehend and treat psychic suffering. Such an approach, first presented in IAAP Conference held in LUMSA in 2022 Narratives in Current Analytical Psychology. Studies about Mind-Body Relations will be described here in full detail. This paper studies the concept of fraternity in the light of the Magisterium of Pope Francis. In the first part, it focuses on some of its meanings that are reductive and insufficient. Then, it presents the characteristics that Pope Francis assigns to it (2nd part) and how he applies it to our relationship with Sister Mother Earth (3rd part). Contradicting the current “undifferentiated and one-dimensional paradigm”, the Pope teaches that fraternity is unity in diversity. REMOTE sensing , *PUBLIC spaces , *URBAN growth - Abstract
In the last few decades, the remarkable increase in the number of people living in urban areas around the world has posed new challenges for urban planning. The environmental, economic, and social issues of urban sprawl are well-known also in several metropolitan areas of Italy. In this paper, we consider a southern city of Italy (Campania Region), Caserta and its surroundings. We use several satellite images with different spatial and spectral resolutions (Landsat, Sentinel, and KH-9 Hexagon) within the Google Earth Engine platform, to map the main land use changes of Caserta conurbation from the 1980s till 2021. The results highlight the great land consumption and, at the same time, the relevant urban infill that occurred in this area in this short period, both on topographic and local scale (referring, in this last case, only to the town of Caserta). While at an early stage, the increase in artificial areas responds to a specific demand related to the increase in the resident population, the urban growth of the last two decades has more complex answers. Systematic delays in land use planning and a biased perspective (usually focusing only on the municipal scale) to solve the problems of a significantly larger area means insufficient services to the citizens in their daily lives (mainly in relation to local public transport and the actual availability of urban green areas). The work critically explores a recently-emerged strategy of territorial regeneration for small towns at risk of depopulation in Italy, "One-euro houses". Situated at the intersection between rural gentrification and the researches on real estate capitalism, the analysis is based on a place-based case-study in Troina, Sicily, to understand if the initiative supports socio-economic regeneration in small villages and/or marginal areas or, on the contrary, it fosters commodification/financialization of the real estate market as well as extractive dynamics. So, the paper scrutinizes how the local coalition of public and private actors mobilizes the initiative to deal with the challenges of the local development, thus highlighting the mismatch between their perception and the critical views of the academic and cultural debate. The article investigates the economic-geography's category of Global Production Networks (GPNs), especially with reference to its ability to grasp the critical aspects of the relationship between multinational capital and regional development. After having briefly framed the GPNs in the literature on the global systems of production, we'll discuss some controversial aspects of this concept. Particular attention will be devoted to the capacity of GPNs category of dealing with the questions of the asymmetries of power and of the ecological relationships. To reiterate the urgency of reinforcing the study of these issues, we present a short analysis of the most relevant aspects of the environmental conflicts, as they appear in the international repository of the Atlas on Environmental Justice (Atlas EJ). Object: Foster parenting is when a person temporarily serves as a parent for a child who has lost or has been removed from their biological family. Method: A clinical case is presented relating to the fostering history of Stefania, an eight-year-old girl who has been placed in a residential community since the earliest years of her life. Results: The child's history is characterized by a series of life events in which abandonments constituted a risk actor in relation to dysfunctional aspects in several areas of development. A psychodynamic perspective as adopted both to assess Stefania's psychic functioning and psychopathological symptomatology, and to identify the processes of intergenerational transmission of mentalization failure. Conclusions: In this paper we present a reflection about the pervasiveness of the consequences of parental neglect, and offer clinical indications on the care of foster children. - Abstract
The recent position paper by the European Federation of Laboratory Medicine (EFLM) advises against following the US recommendations on the use of the new race-free version of the Chronic Kidney Disease-Epidemiology Consortium (CKD-EPI 2021) equation to estimate the glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). The main concern derives from a possible poor CKD estimation, causing an underestimation of renal impairment for the Caucasian population, and therefore for all Europeans. Considering the relevance of the EFLM indication, Biochimica Clinica published the Italian translation of the document and an accompanying editorial suggesting that the European position could be an end point for a better eGFR harmonization. However, the use of different equations for eGFR in US and Europe will entail rather a worse harmonisation: the eGFR values are used for patients enrolment in numerous clinical studies, for the admission to diagnostic procedures or therapies and for the evaluation of their complications and adverse effects. As a consequence, many clinical trials will not be comparable, guidelines and recommendations will be less easily transferable from one country to another and the "regionality" of the equations will not slow down the search for new equations, for different groups and different countries. With equally shared responsibility between US and Europe, this situation seems to be a paradigmatic example of how recommendations in laboratory medicine should not be developed. Nevertheless, the EFLM indication not to adopt the CKD-EPI 2021 race-free equation should be accepted for the moment in Europe, since the harmonization between neighbouring and regional sanitary structures is a priority in the patient care. It should be strengthened that the problem has not been solved yet, and that a greater harmonization action must be rapidly sought, with the aim of a homogeneous calculation and reporting of this widely diffused estimate. - Abstract
The revolutionary new cystic fibrosis (CF) drug combination of ivacaftor (IVA), tezacaftor (TEZ) and elexacaftor (ELX) directly modulates the activity and trafficking of the transmembrane conductance defect (CFTR) regulatory protein underlying CF disease. Limited information is currently available in the literature on plasmatic concentrations of IVA, TEZ and ELX. However, significant interindividual pharmacokinetic variability has been reported in patients receiving the IVA/TEZ/ELX combination, exacerbated by several previously documented drug-drug interactions. Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) could therefore be useful in optimizing treatments with CFTR modulators. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of currently available information on pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of the drugs and their relationships to better understand the basis for differences in treatment response. Relevant articles reporting PK/PD data on IVA, TEZ, ELX administered for the treatment of CF were obtained from the PubMed database. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Insomnia symptoms are common during peripartum and are considered a critical risk factor for postpartum psychopathology. Sleep is particularly vulnerable during pregnancy and postnatal period and its alterations are associated with risks for mental health. Nonetheless, often insomnia disorder during pregnancy doesn't receive appropriate clinical attention, with consequent lack of proper treatment offer. Evaluation and treatment of insomnia during the prenatal period should be a priority in the clinical practice and should consider the whole family context. Cognitive-behavioral treatment is recognized as first line intervention for insomnia disorder from international guidelines. Many authors highlighted that during pregnancy and during the first months of child's life psychotherapy seems to be more adequate and more favorably accepted from patients than pharmacological treatment. This is also linked with possible negative consequences associated to the assumption of drugs, both for the fetus and the newborn. The aim of this paper is to examine in depth, through a narrative review, the importance of a correct evaluation of the insomnia disorder during the prenatal period and the characteristics of cognitive-behavioral therapy.. - Abstract
Eating disorders are characterised by dysfunctional eating behaviours and deeply negative beliefs about their weight and body shape. The literature on eating symptomatology is extensive and detailed, but systematic research about how sleep is characterised in such patients is currently lacking. The results that have emerged so far are contradictory and therefore do not allow a clear understanding of this topic. This paper aims to understand the current state of the art and which aspects need to be further investigated in the future. The results highlighted an actual sleep impairment in patients, although not always consistent. The most pronounced impairment seems to be in anorexia nervosa, moreover, this disorder has proved to be the most investigated. On the contrary, very few studies have evaluated sleep in patients suffering from binge eating disorder, especially using physiological measures. Few studies have also investigated circadian preference, thus leaving several questions unanswered. Future studies will not only aim at investigating sleep and circadian preference more rigorously and systematically, but they should especially try to relate specific aspects of eating symptomatology to specific sleep parameters. One of the advantages of such an approach would be to support clinical practice through sleep-centred treatments that could indirectly act on the eating symptomatology itself. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The paper is an attempt to assess the potentiality of literary sources for the social sciences. It proposes a connection between the ontological conception of social reality and the methodological possibility to recur to literary narratives for social analysis. The concept of multiple reality (Alfred Schutz) is exemplified by referring chiefly to Schutz' treatment of Miguel Cervantes' novel, Don Quijote. In the concluding remarks, a complex conception of social reality is advocated, able to conceive society both in terms of social facts and social representations. Such ontological attitude may give due relevance to literature as a source of sociological data. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to identify the concrete processes by which the complex machinery of the legal system operates, a focus on the narratives of law in popular culture can be useful. However, studying narrative poses a number of theoretical and methodological pitfalls. The aim of this paper is a return to Vincenzo Tomeo's half-century-old work The Judge on the Screen. The book is an excellent example of a sociologically careful and methodologically insightful use of fictional narrative sources such as films. It can be considered a classic of 'law and culture' studies and a forerunner of the 'law and cinema' movement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of the paper is to analyze the different forms that nontextual narrative takes related to the fundamental dimensions that characterize the video game medium, namely interactivity and game design. After providing a general definition of narrative and clarifying how its role is discussed within the scientific debate it will be proposed a semiotic model of analysis for each component and how narrative organizes each of them. Finally, two works will be analyzed where it is evident how the relationship between narrative and game design/interaction, taking into consideration the proposed models for analyzing the medium, defines not only the work itself but also the relationship with the user. LEGAL literature , *CRITICS , *SOCIAL theory , *HUMAN rights violations , *NARRATIVES - Abstract
The field of study on narratives and social theory is broad and constantly evolving, as well as the relation between narratives and law. From the 70s on, partticularly in the Anglo-Saxon context the movement Law and Literature emerged, both as the analysis of law as literature and literature as law. Jurists, writers and literary critics began to explore the ways in which literature can help understand law and vice versa. The interactions between law and literature continue to challenge the traditional view of law as a technical and formal discipline, thus offering a socio-cultural approach to its understanding. Like any narratives, legal narratives are not transparent and neutral views of reality, as meanings do not pre-exist the process of emplotment. Stories, including legal stories, construct facts. In this paper, after a brief review of the main features of judicial narratives, I aim to investigate the peculiar narrative dimension of narratives produced within trials for human rights violations. - Abstract
The paper analyzes the function of the image in Montaigne's Essays identified by a twofold movement, which is one of distancing oneself from the existent and redefining the existent in terms of new, critically conscious forms of inhabiting the world. To this purpose, the article considers some key themes that can be found in the Essays (self-description, the critique of sensible knowledge, deformity, and the critique of habits) with the aim of reflecting on the ontological potential of the image as Building and how this potential reverberates in the Montaignean conception of the art of living and in particular how, not the theory, but the practice of the image opens the space for a creative, but not arbitrary, definition of the existing. PEOPLE with addiction , *SUBSTANCE abuse , *PROFESSIONAL education , *HARM reduction , *INTERNSHIP programs , *DAY care centers - Abstract
In this short paper we want to return the experience of a training internship carried out in collaboration with the Professional Education Course of Padua, based in Rovigo, and the day care center run by Caritas in Vorarlberg, one of the nine federal states of Austria. In Austria, the figure of the Professional Health Educator does not exactly match that of Italy. This aspect proved to be a challenge for both the trainee subject and the host service realizing as an outcome a humanistic contamination for the one, and design in educational terms for the other. The Caritas Café project where the internship took place is a space where people with substance addictions find shelter. The main purpose is to provide information and aids for harm reduction. SOCIAL work students , *SOCIAL classes , *CONSCIENTIOUSNESS - Abstract
The paper intends to report an educational experience within the PCTO activities. In 2021 the Department of Education of the Roma Tre University carried out a workshop with a class of Health and Social Work Services school students with the aim of investigating, using questionnaires and stimulus questions, how the students self-assess their self-learning (Pellerey&Orio, 1996; Pellerey, 2015), how they perceive career adaptability dimensions (Porfeli, Savickas, 2012), and how they approach dimensions of conscientiousness (Heckman, et al, 2014). The data highlights important links between self-regulatory skills and the dimensions of self-care, resilience (Bobbo, Ius, 2021) and perseverance, which are considered in the literature essential skills for dealing with complex professional situations. COMMUNITIES , *COMPLEXITY (Philosophy) , *SUSTAINABLE development , *HIGHER education , *PSYCHOLOGICAL resilience - Abstract
The concept of resilience, established in the literature and in psycho-therapeutic interventions as well as in sustainable development models such as that of the PNRR, is making its appearance in the educational field, in special contexts related to post-traumatic situations and as a generalist intervention aimed at mitigating the effects of the complex society founded on crisis and uncertainty, as an approach aimed at prevention and the promotion of attitudes and skills to cope with the unexpected and overcome adversity. The resilience construct constitutes a paradigmatic dimension as an organizer of meaning epistemologically grounded in the assumptions of complexity theory, such as, for example, the questioning of the linear causality nexus that produces a vicious predictive effect toward states of vulnerability. It implies a different representation of vulnerability producing the dual effect of: transforming adversity and suffering into resources and opportunities for learning and training; and regenerating the community dimension and social and collective empowerment. This paper will present the main aims of the lines of action of the international project RESUPERES Resilience in Higher Education or University Context: overcoming adversity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The Bible role in catechistic praxis. The Theological Faculty of Triveneto has reflected on the pragmatic dimension of the Holy Scripture for longer than ten years. This paper analyses a specific dimension of this reflection: the Bible role in the catechistic praxis. The first part of this work considers two main subjects which are present in documents as well as in the studies. We may begin either from the kerygma to reach its actuation or we start from the experience to enlighten it with the Scripture. The second part shows how the biblical text teaches a method rather than suggesting steps and instruments for this path. This catechistic sphere can be seen in its pragmatic dimension which should not limit the Bible use during a meeting. For the style it represents the Bible should be considered our guide. The Holy Bible in pastoral theology. Interdisciplinary elucidations and their actuation. This paper analyses the relationship between pastoral theology and Holy Bible in interdisciplinary terms so that it might be reconsidered and founded according to methods respectful of the «intrinsic hospitality of the Bible for its readers and their past». In the light of recent developments of the synchronic-pragmatic methods of Bible exegesis and on a few theological pastoral reflections in French style (Étienne Grieu) a number of methodological elements useful for pastoral theology are considered. We try to show their possible actuation considering the theological pastoral formation course for sixth year seminarians held in Treviso and Vittorio Veneto. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Rediscovering the vocation to listening. Challenges from theology and pastoral praxis. This article analyses meaning and implications of listening in ecclesial everyday life at both individual and collective level. It begins with the challenges of Francis's teachings and with his role in the synodal course. First of all, a few short proposals of anthropological type are outlined to highlight a number of peculiar features which anticipate their meanings: listening is better than hearing as it is an act of will with both cognitive and relational implications. Secondly, the meaning of listening is approached in the genesis of individual faith as well as of the church itself. Then this paper pauses on the pastoral praxes of interpersonal listening and on its community and synodal dimension. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Theological formation in dialogue. First, this paper considers The proposal for an integrated rethinking of theological studies in Italy presented by the Italian Theological Association in December 2021. Then it intends to focus on one theoretical turning point entailed in this proposal. This means considering the role of philosophy in the curriculum of theological studies when it faces other emerging interlocutors such as natural sciences, social sciences and mass culture. In the light of some recommendations in Veritatis gaudium three possible suggestions are outlined for a rethinking of theological studies: a better balance between philosophy, sciences and theology; a more adequate distribution of these disciplines; the presence of both general and synthetic moments. - Abstract
The paper offers both a synthesis and a reflection on the topics addressed during the conference “Women in 20th century’s publishing: sources and case studies”, promoted by Apice Center and the Department of Historical Studies at the University of Milan. The conference aimed at enhancing a field of study that is still little explored, highlighting the challenges involved in the retrieval and use of sources and in the research methodologies applicable to the reconstruction of biographies and activities of female protagonists in 20th century publishing. The day was divided into two sessions, “Sources of the self” and “A room all for one’s self? Case studies and digitization projects”, both encompassing a rich and intensive program that revisited and delved deeper into the themes of feminization in the publishing industry and the use of publishing as a lens into women’s work, at the same time providing important methodological guidelines to approach sources such as the archives of publishing houses and authors, as well as autobiographies. What characterized the conference was the proposal of a complex and interdisciplinary path across history of gender, history of professions, and history of culture. Such path should present female authors, translators, editors, and publishers who show vibrant and multifaceted profiles, but whose narratives have often been obscured by their male counterparts. At the same time, attention should be given to the historical context, to pivotal moments, in the development of the publishing and cultural system at large, as well as to the treatment of sources, of which, in this circumstance, the complexity and criticality fully emerged. - Abstract
This paper deals with a topic that results still little discussed and which seems to be central to imagining what trasformations libraries will undergo in the near future. This is the concept of multifunctionality. Starting from the data analysis of the first three Istat Census’s editions, this concept was explored in relation to the characteristics of Italian libraries and thanks to a data driven approach a detailed geography is offered, reflecting variations that occurred between 2020 and 2022. The physiognomy of the libraries’s multifunctionality before and after the Covid-19 pandemic was therefore reconstructed. Thanks to the results of an ongoing survey, it was also possible to combine this study with a mapping of the so-called ‘new multidisciplinary and independent cultural centres’ which are widely spread nationwide and which seem to stand out precisely for their multifunctionality. By comparing different visions and analyses, the intention was to set up a comparative reflection betweenmultifunctional libraries and new cultural centers to discover the characteristics that make them contemporary places. - Abstract
The recent SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has necessitated the emergence of telematic solutions, such as distance learning and smart working, to cope with the rapid spread of the virus. In addition to psychological and social discomfort, lockdown has increased all those risk factors already known in scientific literature as predisposing to the development of musculoskeletal disorders, including the reduction of physical activity and the increase in PC use. In this paper, workers and students are confronted to evaluate the onset and possible increase of spine problems related to this specific historical period. The study ends with the proposal of a hands-off, self-preventive treatment in the form of a video to counteract the negative effects of maintaining static postures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This paper describes a case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in a 39-year-old woman affected by hearing impairment and paraphilia. Treatment was particularly challenging due to the nature of the disorder and the difficulties in conducting the clinical interviews given the deafness of the patient. The case conceptualisation, based on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT; Hayes & Hofmann, 2020) processes, enabled the verbal relational framing determining the reinforcement of verbal rules centred on the control of internal experience to be solved. The principles of relational frame theory (RFT; Törneke, 2010) provided a clear understanding of the connections that determined self-conceptualisation with the manifested paraphiliac compulsions. The therapy process was conducted from a functional contextualistic perspective, according to the OCD model developed by Twohig, Moran and Hayes (2016), in which the cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance processes determine a relevant restriction on values and behaviour. Therefore, the treatment focused on planning exposure contexts to expand the behavioural repertoire with value-based actions, the gradual reduction of obsessions and the forsaking of paraphiliac habits.
