Abstract

application/pdf, 紀要論文, The study examined the personality characters (using the Temperament and Character Inventory), self-efficacy and adaptation (socio-cultural and psychological adaptation) of 182 Chinese students (aged 20-23 yrs) during their first year in Japan. The results showed that Harm Avoidance, Novelty Seeking, Persistence, Self Directedness and Cooperation had significant correlation to socio-cultural or psychological adaptation, especially Harm Avoidance and Self Directedness suggested strong prediction of adaptation. The mediation effect of Self-efficacy between the link of personality characters and adaptation variables was also supported by the results. Further, a path model of the relationship among personality, self-efficacy and adaptation was analyzed and all of the results and implication were discussed.

13. Numerical simulation research on pullout strength of grouted bolt foundation in jointed rock masses for transmission lines.

Abstract

The influence of rock mass and grouted material on the pullout strength of grouted bolt foundation in jointed rock masses is analyzed by the orthogonal numerical simulation. The numerical models focus on the following five factors: elasticity modulus of rock, elasticity modulus of mortar, trace lengths and joint inclination angle in rock mass, embedding depth of the bolt in the rock mass on four different levels of every factor. The experimental results reveal that the embedding depth of the bolt in the rock mass is the most important and sensitive factor influencing the pullout strength of grouted bolt foundation, and the factors next are elasticity modulus of mortar, elasticity modulus of rock, trace lengths and joint inclination angle in rock mass. The elasticity modulus and strength of mortar are more significant than those of rock mass in improvement of the pullout strength of the grouted bolt foundation, but the extent of the improvement is limited.
