Background and aim: Co-authorship increases the possibility of visibility of articles and reflection of their findings in the research of others. The aim of the present study was to determine the number of authors and the number of citations of hot papers in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) in the Web of Science (WOS). Materials and methods: This quantitative study was conducted using the scientometric approach. The research community consisted of 3,475 hot papers in the field of science in WOS from 2020 to 2021. The Spearman correlation coefficient test was used to examine the relationship between the citations of the articles and the number of authors. Data were collected and analyzed using BibExcel, Excel, and SPSS. Findings: The hot papers showed a wide range, from one to 2718 authors. Moreover, a significant correlation was found between the number of authors and the number of citations of hot papers in the field of science (p= 0.000, n= 3475, r= 0.161). Therefore, statistically, there was a positive correlation between the two variables. Conclusion: Higher scientific collaboration in hot articles increases the number of citations and ultimately increases the visibility of these articles.

Background and aim: Despite the increasing share of educated women over time, women still play a lesser role in academic and leadership status, receiving honorary awards and academic advancement. Since compiling academic articles is considered as one of the most significant factors of success in academic careers; therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate gender cooperation pattern among the authors of articles in Journals of Geography and Urban Planning, Geography and Development, and Natural Environment Hazards until 2019. Materials and methods: In the present applied and descriptive study, the statistical population included all indexed articles and information of authors in the Journals of Geography in Sistan and Baluchestan University. For this purpose, some factors such as the number of articles published in quarterly journals, number of authors, number of female authors as well as gender of first authors and corresponding authors were analyzed using independent t-test in SPSS and Excel. Findings: In reviewing the articles, 37.5% of the articles were written by three authors, indicating the authors' tendency to collaborate in this field. Moreover, the main hypotheses of the study stating no difference in the gender of the first and corresponding authors were rejected. The findings indicated that women had a small share in the status of writing articles in these quarterly journals and women attended as the first and corresponding authors only in 15.5% and 14.4% of the articles. Conclusion: Although women's participation in the articles published in the quarterly journals has increased during the recent years, their absence still remains in the main status of the articles and they have a very small share in the main status of authors of the articles (first author and corresponding author).

Background and aim: Digital libraries have been attracted by many countries around the world in recent years, and many scientific outputs regarding to digital libraries have been published. The aim of this study was to analyze the scientific papers of the world in the field of digital libraries based on quantitative and qualitative indicators with focus on Iran's rank. Material and methods: This descriptive-analytical study with a scientometric approach was evaluated 5637 papers indexed in Web of Science (WoS) by the end of 2016. The HistCite software was used for data analysis and VOSviewer software was applied for drawing the maps related to thematic and co-authorship analysis. Findings: The result indicates that the scientific papers of the world have had an increasing trend in this field. H-index of articles was 93 and 18 in the world and Middle East countries, respectively. The United States of America (USA) had the highest number of articles (2221) with h-index 81. Iran had h-index 7. It was found that single-authored paper had the highest frequency among global papers. Scientific collaborative coefficient was 0.44 and 0.54 for global and Iranian researchers during 35 years, respectively. Conclusion: The research results suggest that most scientific articles of digital libraries have been published by several countries, with the USA topping the list. In the Middle East, Iran has the largest share in science production with 41 articles.

Background and aim: Given the special status and wide usage of image retrieval in various fields, the present investigation studied on the research trends and significant factors within the field of image retrieval and drawing the co-word map based on the articles indexed in Web of Science. Material and methods: This scientometric study was performed using bibliometric techniques such as co-citation analysis. Samples of the current study were all articles indexed in ISI in the field of image retrieval from 2001 to 2012. Therefore, 2537 papers were retrieved in this field. Citespace and VOSviewer were applied for co-word analysis. Findings: The highest centrality with the number of 0.18 has been related to the term "image retrieval". "Content based image retrieval" and "relevance feedback" both with 0.15 centrality have been in the next rank. The Highest burst with the number of 11.59 was belonged to "pattern recognition society". "Content-based image retrieval", "image database" with the number of 7.53 and 5.79 burst have won the second and third ranks, respectively. Sigma was obtained 1.39 for the "shape" and 1 for other terms during this period. Also, the analysis of co-word network in VOSviewer indicated 9 scientific clusters in the field of image retrieval. Conclusion: The analysis of co-word network in the field of image retrieval have shown that the content-based image retrieval is one of the most important approaches in the field of image retrieval in the past years.

Background and aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the general patterns of scientific productions, impact factor and open access publishing of international researchers and compare them between males and females. Material and methods: This scientometric and webometric, from a variety of survey methods, investigated the status of male and female scientific productions and the status of open access and non-open access papers in the web in the field of nanosience and nanotechnology (N&N) using comparative approach. Research population consisted of all female and male international researchers in the field of N&N, contributing three or less than three papers from 2007 to 2009. Findings: The results showed that there was no significant difference between female and male international researchers in terms of the mean of the open access papers and impact factor. However, there was significant difference between the frequency of male and female researchers in favor of men. Conclusion: Gender has no effect on open access publishing, visibility, and increasing citation and impact factor.

Background and aim: Art therapy is a form of treatment using simple art materials. Due to the importance of this topic, many researches have been conducted in this field in recent years. Evaluating most-cited art therapy articles as the most influential articles contributes to our greater knowledge about research, topics and trends in this topic. Therefore, the aim of this research was altmetric analysis of 100 most-cited papers related to art therapy. Materials and methods: In this study, bibliometric information of 100 most-cited in the field of art therapy indexed in the Scopus database was analyzed. Then, the disease/community information was examined in each study and finally, altmetric information including data related to different functions of five categories of PlumX (Usage, Capture, Mention, Social media and Citation) was extracted and analyzed. Findings: More than 50% of articles were published in three journals. 60 authors from 17 countries and 155 different organizations participated in compiling these articles. A review of 100 most-cited articles showed that many studies of art interventions have been used for various diseases, especially various types of cancers and mental disorders. Among the five groups of altmetric indicators, the index of "Usage" is in the first rank and the indices of "Capture" and "Citation" are in the second and third ranks, respectively. The indicators of "Social media" and "Mention" have the lowest level. Conclusion: Art therapy interventions for cancer and mental disorders have received more attention from researchers, while the implementation of art therapy interventions for other diseases such as AIDS, asthma and autism was limited.

Background and aim: Assessing the quality of scientific outputs is part of the development measuring system of countries around the world. The aim of this study was to analyze the thematic structure of the top articles of Iranian researchers in the Web of Science (WoS) database in Web of Science database. Materials and methods: This applied-descriptive study was performed using scientometric method. The research population was all top papers of Iranian researchers indexed in Essential Scientific Indicators (ESI) and WoS databases from 2010 to 2019. Data were analyzed using Ravar Matrix and Ucinet softwares. Findings: Total number of Iranian top articles was 2447 of which 2428 and 114 were highly cited and hot articles published from 2010-2019, respectively. The top ranking of centrality was assigned to the keyword "nanofluid" with a closeness centrality of 53.684, betweenness centrality of 24.229 and degree centrality of 3.020%. Conclusion: The top articles of Iranian researchers were classified into 14 thematic clusters, so that most of these articles were in the field of "engineering" and the keyword "nano" was the most important thematic keyword and the basic foundation of this study.

Background and aim: Co-citation and word co-occurrence analysis can help to identify key articles in any subject area. Therefore, the purpose of the current paper is to identify the thematic orientation in the co-citation and co-occurrence network of prominent articles in water pollution field in the world. Materials and methods: The current research is applied in terms of purpose, and descriptive in terms of type, which was carried out using co-citation and word cooccurrence analysis. In order to better understand the research conducted in water pollution and draw a scientific map of this field, all the published articles (28095 docs) were retrieved in the Web of Science database from 2011 to 2022 in August 20, 2023. Citespace software was used to analyze and draw co-citation maps and VOSviewer was used to analyze and draw word co-occurrence maps in water pollution articles. Findings: Generally, there exists 245 co-citation link between 101 documents in the co-citation network of articles. The top articles in water pollution field in the above-mentioned time period formed 12 thematic clusters. The results of co-referencing documents in water pollution state the formation of the most important cluster (cluster 0) in 2014 in drinking water, removing arsenic, groundwater pollution. The largest number of clusters (5 clusters out of the total number of 12 clusters) was formed in the period of 2017-2019. The word co-occurrence results stated that cluster number 1 with 65 members and the topic of different methods of wastewater treatment is the most important one discussed in the articles. The terms "water pollution", "adsorption", "water quality" have the highest frequency of co-occurrence compared to other terms with 2177, 2136, 945 respectively. Conclusion: Different clusters were formed in this research, most of which focus on removing pollution in water in different ways using the latest methods. The aim of this study was to make an analytical comparison of Iranian scientific documents in text mining based on domestic and foreign databases. Materials and methods: The present study is descriptive survey with a bibliometric approach. In order to find scientific documents related to text mining in the Scopus database, related terms were searched, and then the results were limited to Iran. Scientific Information Database (SID) was used to search for Persian scientific documents. Bibexcel, VOSviewer, Python programming language, and Excel 2017 were used to analyze the data. Findings: The total number of Iranian scientific documents in text mining in the Scopus citation database was 1082 and 284 (26.25%) of scientific documents indexed in Scopus were in Persian. Moreover, according to the Scientific Information Center, the number of scientific documents in this field was 89 and the number of scientific documents in Persian was 51 (57.30%). The Journal of Lecture Notes in Computer Science has published most international scientific papers in Iran, and the Journal of Signal and Data Processing has published most domestic scientific papers in Iran in text mining. A t-test was used to determine that there was a significant difference in the number of scientific documents in Persian between Scopus and SID databases (p<0.0001). Conclusion: The average growth rate of Iranian scientific documents in text mining was higher than in other subject areas. The United States, Britain, and Australia have had the most collaboration with Iranian researchers in this field. Background and aim: Nursing is one of the most important fields of medical sciences, and its development has a great impact on health care. Since one of the indicators of the development of a field or profession is the scientific studies, the aim of this study was to evaluate the scientific studies focusing on the concept of leadership in nursing. Materials and methods: The study was conducted using a mapping method, and the scientometric analysis was performed using 1098 articles from the Web of Science (WoS) between 2000 and 2020. The existing conceptual structure and patterns in the field of leadership research as well as the interpretation of the relationship between the keywords used in the research papers were extracted and analyzed using VOSviewer. Findings: Analysis of the data indicated that the number of articles in leadership showed an increasing trend from 2000 to 2020, indicating researchers' interest in leadership in nursing. The most frequency cited journals were from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, as well as from the Universities of London, Michigan, Harvard, Washington, and King's College London, respectively. The most international collaborations in publishing high-quality articles were in the United States, China, the United Kingdom, and Australia. In the treasury of keywords appearing in the titles and abstracts of the articles related to leadership, through the review of the data obtained from the scientometric mapping, it was possible to find that the words related to the concept of leadership, the words "nursing leadership, leadership, nursing, transformational leadership, authentic leadership, care Health, nurses, qualitative research, job satisfaction, hospital, education, management, participation" were the most used. Conclusion: Based on the data presented, it can be concluded that, first, attention to the concept of leadership in nursing has increased over time. Second, the concept of leadership is more closely related to mental concepts, which highlights the need to pay attention to mental and linguistic concepts and approaches in leadership research. Background and aim: The main purpose of this study was to discover the thematic tendencies of scientific articles in the field of taxation in Iran and to classify them into specific categories to determine the research priorities of Iranian researchers in this field. Materials and methods: In this applied descriptive-analytical study with a quantitative approach, all 63 titles of scientific journals publishing papers in the fields of economics, accounting, and finance were examined. The data were collected using a checklist tool and statistically analyzed using Excel software. Findings: During the period under review, 478 articles in the field of taxation were published with 1148 authors. The MA authors were at the top of the authors' list with the publication of 419 articles. Among the universities and research centers, Tehran University together with Allameh Tabataba'i University was ranked first with the publication of 34 articles. In terms of topic orientation, 12.5 and 9.6 of published papers were in the field of “effectiveness and tax efficiency” and “tax avoidance”, respectively. From a total of 12822 references cited in the articles, 58 and 42% of them were in English and Persian, respectively. Conclusion: It seems that the reason, why Iranian researchers pay more attention to the effectiveness and efficiency of taxation has been the application of different manners concerning tax collection in Iran. On the other hand, the inclusion of tax avoidance and evasion in the second and fourth ranks of researchers' research priorities indicates the existence of a serious problem and dilemma in this field.

Background and aim: To gain an in-depth insight and to achieve greater precision in the reasoning and writing of academic papers, the present study investigated the types, frequencies of hedges and boosters used in Iranian and foreign academic Medical and Teaching research articles (RAs). Material and methods: This descriptive-analytical study included 60 research articles. Iranian articles on English language teaching about new methods of teaching English were selected from the journals indexed in Scopus. By searching in PubMed, the national medical articles which were interventional were chosen. Foreign articles related to these two fields were also selected from journals indexed in the ISI with impact factors>1. They were analyzed according to Holme's classification of lexical devices through focusing on hedge and booster words and using Chi-square test. Findings: The results showed a significant difference in the use of hedges and no significant difference in the use of boosters among the words used in academic papers, indicating the incorrect use of these hedge and booster vocabularies by non-native authors in writing academic articles. Conclusion: The analysis suggested that the overall percentage of hedges in the Teaching RAs was higher than Medical RAs so that their improper use by authors has unpleasant consequences in the development of English writing skills for academic articles.

Background and aim: In recent years, journals and quarterly journals have placed a great emphasis on increasing scientific collaboration in articles. Therefore, in this paper, the analysis of social networks was used to determine the co-authorship structure between researchers and drawing keyword co-occurrence network in the Journal of Public Management Research of Sistan and Baluchestan University. Materials and methods: This applied study was done by using a scientometric method. The statistical population of the study was 310 articles indexed in the Journal of Public Management Research from 2015 to 2019, collected using Publish or perish software and RIS addressing. The VOSviewer was used to draw co-authorship patterns as well as Excel and SPSS were applied to answer the research hypotheses. Findings: The analysis of the co-authorship pattern suggested that each article had 3.2 authors in this Journal. Moreover, the most prolific authors in this Journal according to the co-authorship network due to the number of articles and collaborations were: Adel Azar, Noor Mohammad Yaghoubi, Fariborz Rahimnia, and Abdolmajid Imani. An examination of the Keyword Co-Occurrence network showed that the issues such as knowledge management (15), entrepreneurship (10), organizational citizenship behavior (9) and organizational commitment (8) were the most important subjects. Besides, the evaluation of the difference between men and women showed that with a t-value of 7.379 (p = 0.000), there was a significant difference between women and men in writing articles. Conclusion: The analysis of the co-occurrence density map indicated that the topics of the papers were aligned with the new topics of management. Furthermore, the results demonstrated the high level of group participation in this journal.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis (RAS) is one of the most common oral mucosal diseases. Nowadays, the majority of published systematic reviews is increasing, hence healthcare decision makers are meeting much evidence in order to solving their clinical problems. The aim of the present umbrella review was to report current knowledge on etiology, diagnosis and treatment of RAS. METHODS: In the present umbrella review, we searched for systematic reviews using PubMed, ISI web of science, Scopus and the Cochrane Library from the beginning of 2000 up to end of 2018 using the following key words: “systematic review” “Meta-analysis” and “aphthous”. Two investigators independently screened, extracted the data, and quality appraised the papers using Joanna Bridges Institute (JBI) protocol. FINDINGS: Finally, 18 systematic reviews were included (8 on etiology and 10 on treatment). Out of these papers, findings of 6 meta-analysis suggested that hematologic deficiencies, interleukin polymorphism and helicobacter pylori seem to have association with RAS, however for treatment of RAS (including: topical, systemic and laser therapy) there were not conclusive findings. CONCLUSION: According to results of this study, hematologic deficiencies, interleukin polymorphism and helicobacter pylori are among the novel etiologies of recurrent aphthous stomatitis, although there is no presented unique and conclusive treatment option for this common lesion yet.

Background and aim: Due to the importance of keywords in the field of research and scientometrics, the keywords used in scientific outputs of mathematics education specialists were investigated in this study to determine the scope of their research. Material and methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on the Persian scientific papers published by mathematics education specialists who were the first author and published at least three papers for a 25-year period from 1993 to 2017. Under these conditions, 48 papers presented by eight mathematics education specialists were identified. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to process the number and repetition of keywords. Findings: Out of 204 keywords, 10 keywords were applied 44 times repeatedly (or synonymously). The ratio of total articles to duplicate keywords was 66% and the ratio of duplicate keywords to total keywords was 22%. Linear regression test indicated a direct relationship between the number of articles and ratio of duplicate keywords. Conclusion: The high proportion of duplicate keywords suggests the subject similarity and focus of articles of mathematics education specialists in Iran.

Background and aim: The main purpose of the current paper is the Scientometric analysis of scientific productions in sports science based on the articles indexed in the Web of Science during the years 2012-2022. Materials and methods: In terms of type and nature, the current research is an applied one in which scientific techniques and indicators are used. The statistical population of this research includes all the articles indexed in Web of Science in the 10-year period of 2012-2022 in sports sciences. VOSviewer software was used to draw the co-authorship network of organizations, the density map of countries and the co-occurrence of words. Findings: The results stated that the highest and lowest scientific productions in the focused area were in 2021 and 2012, respectively. According to the data obtained from the VOSviewer software, there are 36 nodes and 335 links in the map. The topics of "higher education", "sports science", "performance", and "physical training" were identified as the topic clusters of the field based on the clustering of high-frequency words. Background and aim: One of the most common methods of evaluation of researchers' scientific outputs and their affiliated organizations is using different methods of scientometrics, which is done by a citation databases. The aim of this study was to evaluate the scientific outputs of Mazandaran University from 2006 to 2016. Material and methods: This descriptive study was conducted using scientometric approach. Research population was the indexed papers in Scopus citation (4091 documents). Data related to articles with the affiliation of (AF-ID = "University of Mazandaran") were searched in the Scopus. Then, the time limit for scientific output was defined (LIMIT-TO (PUBYEAR)) and the final research was conducted. Finally, data were analyzed using Excel and SPSS. Findings: The results showed that the scientific outputs of Mazandaran University have increased during the study period. The least amount of scientific output was in 2006, and the highest in 2013. The largest number of indexed documents, the most received citations, and the prolific authors (60%) belong to the Faculty of Chemistry and Physics. In terms of the type of the indexed scientific documents, the largest number was related to research papers (93/4%), In terms of scientific collaboration and inter-organizational co-authorship, Mazandaran University had the most cooperation with neighboring universities. Conclusion: Totally, due to the ascending trend of recorded documents until 2013 and its descending one in the following years and for observing the research results of researchers in the world and reaching the University to the peak of their scientific publications, this University authorities should be provided the conditions in which the researchers can achieve to the necessary motivation and ability for publication in valid scientific journals.

Background and aim: This study aimed to examine co-authorship and collaboration of scientific outputs in the field of agriculture. Moreover, it investigated their visibility in Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) from 2007 to 2013. Material and methods: This survey study was done using scientometric method and population included the scientific outputs published in journals of agriculture indexed in ISC from 2007 to 2013. Data were analyzed via descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS, Excel and Pajek softwares. Findings: The results showed that there was an ascending trend in papers published in the field of agriculture during 2007-2013. The presence of the co-author will influence on the number of citations to the article so that co-authorship will increase the citations.

Background and aim: This study aimed to examine co-authorship and collaboration of scientific outputs in the field of agriculture. Moreover, it investigated their visibility in Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) from 2007 to 2013. Material and methods: This survey study was done using scientometric method and population included the scientific outputs published in journals of agriculture indexed in ISC from 2007 to 2013. Data were analyzed via descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS, Excel and Pajek softwares. Findings: The results showed that there was an ascending trend in papers published in the field of agriculture during 2007-2013. Background and aim: One of the most common methods of evaluation of researchers' scientific outputs and their affiliated organizations is using different methods of scientometrics, which is done by a citation databases. The aim of this study was to evaluate the scientific outputs of Mazandaran University from 2006 to 2016. Material and methods: This descriptive study was conducted using scientometric approach. Research population was the indexed papers in Scopus citation (4091 documents). Data related to articles with the affiliation of (AF-ID = "University of Mazandaran") were searched in the Scopus. Then, the time limit for scientific output was defined (LIMIT-TO (PUBYEAR)) and the final research was conducted. Finally, data were analyzed using Excel and SPSS. Findings: The results showed that the scientific outputs of Mazandaran University have increased during the study period. The least amount of scientific output was in 2006, and the highest in 2013. The largest number of indexed documents, the most received citations, and the prolific authors (60%) belong to the Faculty of Chemistry and Physics. In terms of the type of the indexed scientific documents, the largest number was related to research papers (93/4%), In terms of scientific collaboration and inter-organizational co-authorship, Mazandaran University had the most cooperation with neighboring universities. Conclusion: Totally, due to the ascending trend of recorded documents until 2013 and its descending one in the following years and for observing the research results of researchers in the world and reaching the University to the peak of their scientific publications, this University authorities should be provided the conditions in which the researchers can achieve to the necessary motivation and ability for publication in valid scientific journals.

Background and aim: Nowadays, research is considered as a basic infrastructure for development of countries. The aim of this study was to determine the contribution of Iranian scientific production in the field of sport sciences in the Middle East, Asia and world. Material and methods: In this scientometric study, data were collected from Scimago and Scopus databases. The research population included all papers indexed in the databases in the field of sport sciences from 1996 to 2015. The extracted data were analyzed using Excel and SPSS. Findings: Results showed from1996 to 2015, Iran indexed 723 scientific degrees in the Scopus, which put Iran at the rank of 32nd, 7th and 3th in the world, Asia and Middle East, respectively. Of all documented papers, there were 6556 articles cited, of which 911 were self-citations. The H index, which indicates the quality of scientific papers, is also 37, which is very low compared to the total number of articles in Iran. Conclusion: In the field of sport sciences, Iran has a relatively good rank in the world, Asia and Middle but in terms of quality (considering the h index), it does not have a good situation. Therefore, it is necessary for evaluation indexes of researchers' papers in universities and research institutes to change from the consideration of quantitative indicators to the qualitative and innovative indicators and the novelty of the research subject, and to financially support the applied and citable research in addition to determining the research priorities.

Background and aim: Assessment of scientific outputs is necessary. This paper studied Royan Institute’s research outputs in Web of Science from 1997 to 2014. Material and methods: Data were collected from Web of Science database using Scientometrics methods. Data received, analyzed using Excel 2010 and Bibexcel, and data visualized using VOSviewer. Findings: Royan Institute had 892 documents in total, which was about half percent of scientific documents in country in 2014 and the average of annual growth rate has been about 43%. Three areas of gynecology, reproductive biology and cell biology research constituted the main research topics of Royan. Hirsch index of the Institute was 37 and 40% of its scientific documents published in Q1 and Q2 Journals. Average citation to each article of international collaboration, national collaboration and non-collaboration papers was 14, 6, and 4, respectively. Conclusion: The Royan Institute is one of the main Institutes in the field of medical research and its output growth rate was higher than that of Iran. Evaluation of quality indicators showed the relative quality of scientific outputs and collaborative papers of this Institute had higher quality in terms of citation impact.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE:Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a main cause of mortality throughout the world. CVD is related to life style. Legumes are one of the dietary factors that have nutritional and functional factors and play an important role in attenuating CVD risk factors. Legume consumption (at least 4 times a week) is associated with 22% lower risk for CHD and 11% lower risk for CVD. In this paper, we reviewed the presented articles about non soy legumes and CVD risk factors. METHODS:We used PubMed search engine for this review and searched words including legume intake/consumption, bean/pea consumption, CVD/cardiovascular risk factors and inflammation in All Field. We achieved 346 papers. After limiting repeated articles and studies about soy and soy isoflavonoids, peanut, nuts, animal studies, children studies, cancer, renal disease and allergy, finally we reviewed 30 papers in this issue. FINDINGS:Legume consumption can improve blood lipid profile. In addition, legume ingestion has positive potential effect on blood glucose levels, blood pressure, inflammation status and anthropometric indices. It seems that legumes have more beneficial effects on lipid profile than other CVD risk factors. However, the effects of legumes on other risk factors are important and needs more investigations. CONCLUSION:Increasing non soy legume consumption is an appropriate approach for improving CVD risk factors and thus can reduce the incidence of CVD events among societies.

Background and Objective: Considering the importance of learning how to write a proposal for students, this study was performed to develop an online tutorial for “How to write a Proposal” for students and to evaluate its usability. Methods: This study is a developmental research and tool design. “Gamified Online Tutorial based on Self-Determination Theory (GOT-STD) Framework" became the basis for designing the online tutorial "How to Write a Proposal". After compiling and evaluating the content and questions, the online tutorial was designed by observing the structural, educational, and game elements introduced in the GOT-STD framework. In the last step, the usability of thetutorial was evaluated from the perspective of 10 master's students of Kashan University of Medical Sciences. Findings: The usability evaluation results and the students' feedback indicate that the tutorial structure and content are suitable for the students. Some of the structural and content problems of the tutorial were also corrected. Among the positive points of tutorial from the perspective of students are the presentation of content in the form of short films, the possibility of re-reading, the possibility of using without time and place restrictions, the use of examples, practical assignments, step-by-step, good navigation system, communication With the tutorial manager, the appropriate scoring system, and finally, he pointed out that tutorial is fun, competitive and motivating. Conclusion: The usability evaluation results and the students' feedback indicate that the designed tutorial can be used as a suitable educational aid tool for medical students. Background and Objective: Job burnout is one of the challenges of the health system and medical residents are among the most important pillars of service delivery, especially in epidemic conditions, and spiritual intelligence can be proposed as a way to relieve job burnout. The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between spiritual intelligence and job burnout in clinical teaching residents of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study is a questionnaire-based survey (cross-sectional study) that was conducted in 1400 with the participation of 36 residents from 3 educational groups of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. Maslach job burnout and King spiritual intelligence questionnaires were used for primary data collection and correlation analysis was done by calculating Pearson's coefficient (r) and statistical description and analysis was done using IBM SPSS version 25 software. Findings: The average burden of job burnout was 84.44 and the average burden of spiritual intelligence was 47.69. The production of personal meaning had a direct and significant correlation with job burnout, which was also observed in infectious residents. In emergency medicine residents; Job burnout has had a direct and significant correlation with spiritual intelligence and the subscales of critical existential thinking and the production of personal meaning and transcendental consciousness. Background and aim: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to changes in many service jobs. Considering the great importance and impact of this epidemic, the aim of this research is to analyze articles related to public library services and COVID-19. Materials and methods: The present study is descriptive and applied and using common methods in scientometrics, it examines the research conducted in the field of public libraries and COVID-19 in the Web of Science database, from 2020 to 2023. Research data through combined search of keywords "COVID-19" OR "SARS-CoV-2" OR "2019-nCoV" OR "2019 coronavirus" OR "2019 novel coronavirus" and public library keyword in Bib TeX format in Notepad text file format was extracted and transferred to Excel software, and then data analysis was done using Excel software and Bibliometrics library from R software. Findings: Based on the data obtained from the research, the growth of scientific publications in this field was negative, and in terms of vocabulary frequency, "public libraries", "information", "society" and "social networks" are the most frequent in researches of public libraries and COVID-19. Findings related to clustering led to the formation of 4 clusters. The "Services, Challenges and Technology" cluster was central and had a higher density and centrality than other clusters. The "Access and Information Presentation Models" cluster was found to be non-central. The "Libraries and Information Literacy" cluster was placed in the underdeveloped region of the strategic diagram and finally "Society, COVID-19 and the role of libraries" cluster was introduced as an immature cluster. Conclusion: According to the abundance of keywords and clusters obtained from the strategic diagram, it was found that the thematic fields of "services, challenges and technology" are the most important emerging factors in this field. Background and aim: Network analysis is an approach in social studies that draws intuitive structures as well as mathematical and computational models and is used in studies of various fields. The purpose of present research is to map intellectual structure of the subject categories of Iran's biomechanics field as an interdisciplinary field. Materials and methods: The current research has been carried out by scientometric approach and co-word analysis of Iranian biomechanics documents indexed in Web of Science. For data analysis, VOSviewer ana SPSS were used. Findings: Based on the analysis of data, five clusters were identified: cluster 1, biomechanics of body movements, cluster 2, tissue biomechanics and orthopedics, cluster 3. Corneal biomechanics, cluster 4, computational biomechanics and cluster 5 occupational and spine biomechanics. Also, through factor analysis, in addition to these items, the biomechanics of diabetes were also identified. The clustering analysis also showed four subject clusters, except for the lack of identification of Human motion biomechanics, the rest of the clusters identified in the scientific map were also recovered and in the factor analysis, 6 factors were identified, except for the diabetes factor, other factors appeared in thematic clusters. Conclusion: The areas that are more related to injuries caused to the body during work related activities, daily movements or accidents that lead to fractures and orthopedic injuries have been more attractive and important for researchers. Background and aim: Librarians, as practitioners of Library and Information Science (LIS), by playing various roles, can contribute to the promotion of research and expansion of human knowledge. The aim of the present study was to investigate librarians' scientific publications indexed in the Scopus database between 2016 and 2020 using the scientometric approach. Materials and methods: The present study, which was conducted using a scientometric approach, is descriptive in terms of data collection and applied in terms of the objective. The research population was all articles indexed in the Scopus database in 2016-2020 in which the word "librarian" is included in at least one of the authors' organizational affiliations. The number of these articles amounted to 2207 after review and screening by the researchers. Findings: In general, librarians accounted for 1.5% of the worldwide scientific production in the field of LIS. Librarians were the first, second or third author in more than 60% of the articles analyzed. Totally, 61% of the articles by librarians were published in non-LIS disciplines such as biological sciences, medicine, and computer science, and the chi-square test showed that the participation of librarians was significantly higher in non-LIS disciplines than in LIS disciplines (p<0.001). A closer examination of the articles indexed by librarians in the Scopus database in the LIS subject area showed that scientometrics, library services, databases, archives, and knowledge management were the most interesting topics for librarians with a frequency of 134, 131, 84, 75 and 59 articles, respectively. Conclusion: Librarians as research assistants have made an important contribution to the writing of articles from non-LIS fields in recent years. Background and aim: Nursing is one of the most important fields of medical sciences, and its development has a great impact on health care. Since one of the indicators of the development of a field or profession is the scientific studies, the aim of this study was to evaluate the scientific studies focusing on the concept of leadership in nursing. Materials and methods: The study was conducted using a mapping method, and the scientometric analysis was performed using 1098 articles from the Web of Science (WoS) between 2000 and 2020. The existing conceptual structure and patterns in the field of leadership research as well as the interpretation of the relationship between the keywords used in the research papers were extracted and analyzed using VOSviewer. Findings: Analysis of the data indicated that the number of articles in leadership showed an increasing trend from 2000 to 2020, indicating researchers' interest in leadership in nursing. The most frequency cited journals were from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, as well as from the Universities of London, Michigan, Harvard, Washington, and King's College London, respectively. The most international collaborations in publishing high-quality articles were in the United States, China, the United Kingdom, and Australia. In the treasury of keywords appearing in the titles and abstracts of the articles related to leadership, through the review of the data obtained from the scientometric mapping, it was possible to find that the words related to the concept of leadership, the words "nursing leadership, leadership, nursing, transformational leadership, authentic leadership, care Health, nurses, qualitative research, job satisfaction, hospital, education, management, participation" were the most used. Conclusion: Based on the data presented, it can be concluded that, first, attention to the concept of leadership in nursing has increased over time. Second, the concept of leadership is more closely related to mental concepts, which highlights the need to pay attention to mental and linguistic concepts and approaches in leadership research.

Background and aim: The aim of this study was to draw co-citation map of outstanding authors in the field of image retrieval based on articles indexed in ISI from 2001 to 2012. Material and methods: This scientometric study was performed using bibliometric techniques such as co-citation analysis. Samples of the current study were all articles indexed in ISI in the field of image retrieval from 2001 to 2012. Therefore, 2537 papers were retrieved in this field. Citespace and Webometric Analyst software were used to analyze the co-citation of authors. Findings: Results indicated that there were 84 co-citation links among 58 most cited authors in the network of co-citation authors. Tao DC and Zhang HJ reached the first rank with writing 26 articles. Rui Y was the most cited author with 627citations. Highest centrality, sigma and burst were related to RuiY with 0.55, Smith JR with 20.63 and Dattar R with 42.71, respectively. Conclusion: Creating co-citation links among the authors of image retrieval shows the intellectual relevance among the authors of this field. It is obvious that none of the authors with high papers is an effective and most cited author and has the highest centrality, sigma and burst in the field of image retrieval.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Information revolution with a wide range of effectiveness, in different dimensions of the society, especially in medical sciences can be a way for solving the problems. METHODS: This study was before- after intervention HSR type research and clinical faculty members of Shahid Beheshti Hospital in Babol, comprised the statistical population. With establishment of clinical research development unit in Shahid Beheshti Hospital in 2009, the provided services in this center, the number of published papers and the number of approved research projects and theses were considered as indicators of research performance. These indicators were calculated before and after the center establishment. For data collection, information in the database of faculty research system were used. The number of theses and published articles were asked from the faculty members. FINDINGS: Research activities of faculty in research projects, theses and published papers, before the establishment of the unit, were 58 cases (25.9%), and after that, 166 cases (74.10%). The contribution of this clinical research development unit in the improvement of research goals of Babol University of Medical Sciences, based on the number of published papers according to the type of the article and the indices of journals which articles have been published in, has been 84.5 since the time of the center establishment . CONCLUSION: Significant growth in the number, research projects per capita, approved articles and theses indicates a positive effect on the research consultations in database and increase in research attitude and interest of practitioners and students.

Background and aim: Various scientometric indicators have been developed for quantitative and qualitative evaluation of scientific output. Each of these indicators has its own weaknesses and strengths. The study aimed at using the keywords as a qualitative evaluation instrument in research of many scholars of Medical Sciences University. Material and methods: This study was conducted as a cross-sectional study within a 6-year period (2005-2010). The research population included all papers published by faculty members of Medical Science University of Babol who were as the first/corresponding authors with at least 2 papers and these indexed articles in periodicals published in WOS during this period. The data were collected by means of a tailor-made data collection sheet. The repeated or synonym keywords were collected from different papers of an author and were analyzed in terms of repetition for qualitative evaluation of the research of every scholar. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical indexes and statistical software spss version16. Findings: During this period, 127 articles have been indexed in WoS database from researchers of this University. in 11 articles of 300 words, 21 repeated words or synonyms were used by 25 researchers who had two or more than two papers. By considering these findings, the overall ratio of articles with repetitive keywords was 16% and the proportion of repeated keywords to whole words was 7%. Statistical processing of the data using linear regression indicates an inverse relationship between the number of articles of each author and repeated keywords or synonyms in his/her articles. So, by increasing the number of articles for every author from 2 to 5, the repeated words in per article were decreased to 0/83, 0/77, 0/25 and finally zero, respectively. Conclusion: low rate of the same keywords and synonyms in the articles of one researcher may be a sign of dispersion and lack of coordination in research activities. Therefore, regarding the coordination and concentration of the subject in scientific activities is very important in assessing the quality of research and researchers.

Background and aim: Today, the measuring and monitoring of science in different fields and issues are considered in different centers and universities. This study aimed at determining the qualitative and quantitative growth of scientific production in the field of sport sciences. Material and methods: This research was a Scientometric study which analyzed the indexed scientific papers in Iran from 1994 to 17 March 2013 in the field of Sport Sciences by using qualitative and quantitative indices of (ISI) database. Data capture source, ISI base and 302 samples of recorded degrees in Iran were investigated in above years. The data were analyzed by Excel software. Findings: Results showed that the Iranian researchers published 302 degrees in this base from 1994 to 17 March 2013, which were referable in 1515 cases up to now and the h index in this scientific field was estimated 20. Scientific papers in the field of sport sciences have had the growth process since 2007. The highest scientific production has been in Tehran University of Medical Sciences with indexed degrees, Islamic Azad University of Tehran University with 42 degrees and 28 degrees, respectively. Conclusions: Given the number of professors, researchers and students We can say that scientific publications in the field of sports science In terms of quantitative (302 document) is not optimal But according to the h index is said to be optimal in terms of quality.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: In dental science, paying attention to prevention and health is prior to treatment. Some studies and researches demonstrated that factors like the lack of information and learning about oral hygiene, the lack of prevention, and patients neglect cause periodontal diseases and dental caries increase. This study was done to assess the effect of oral and dental hygiene education by using the book on the knowledge of caries preventive behaviors in the guidance school students.METHODS: This analytical study was performed on 150 students of two girls and boys guidance schools of Babol town, Iran. At the first, they filled pre-test papers for assessment of their knowledge and then, they used a book about dental health and oral hygiene. After 4 weeks, they filled again the same papers as post-test. So the level of their knowledge was measured (in the form of a test) and compared.FINDINGS: In this study, the average of scores in pre-test and post-test was 7±2.8 and 8.2±2.3, respectively. The level of knowledge between the girls (9.14± 2.72) and boys (7.22±2.96) increased (p= 0.001, p= 0.007). In the girls, the level of knowledge before and after education was more than the boys (p=0.000). But the difference of increasing of knowledge between the girls was not significant in compared to the increasing of knowledge between the boys. Also, no relation was found between the scores of pre-test and post-test and parents educational level. The knowledge level of all students (boys and girls) increased in post-test.CONCLUSION: The results of this study showed that indirect education with book is effective in increasing their knowledge.

BACKGROUND: Fat is obtained from plant and animal sources and exists in most nutritious products which affects their sensory properties. The growing trend of diseases such as high cholesterol, heart disease and obesity made the nutrition experts look for the alternative fat with lower-calorie. METHODS:In this review study, a comprehensive search has been conducted in national and international databases such as Magiran، SID، ، IranDoc، Scopus، Science Direct،and Web of Science and Google Scholar since Farvardin to Khordad in 1395 using the keywords alternative, fat and nutrition. 15 Persian and English papers were investigated. FINDINGS: meanwhile reviewing the very papers, all the alternative fat in dairy products, cereals, meat, etc. were scrutinized. Regarding the type of food, organoleptic characteristics and quality, a particular type of fat alternative in techniques such as Remove the direct method, formulation optimization, changes in processing techniques and holistic methods can be used. CONCLUSION: In order to solve some problems related to the elimination or reduction of fat , cardiovascular diseases prevention and health improvement, it is possible to use fat alternatives in communities’ food, furthermore, the obtained results indicated that the production of low-calorie foods is similar to the texture of high fat products.

Background: Lipids oxidation is a complex series of reactions occurring during the process, storage, transport and final preparation of lipid-containing foods. Lipids oxidation begins immediately after extracting the oil which leads to the formation of toxic compound and bad taste of oils.It is also the most common form of lipid degeneration which leads totang expansion, production of undesirable pulp compounds, polymerization, flavor response reactions, and creating other reactions reducing durability and nutritional value of food products. Fats are present in almost all foods and more than 90% of them are triglycerides. Antioxidants are used as additives in fats and oils to prevent making any oxidative damage to foods. This study was conducted to compare the efficacy of synthetic and natural antioxidants. Methods: In this review article in order to gather information, those articles containing words such as Polyphenolics in Foods, Antioxidant Activity & Health Effects were studied and examined at American Elsevier, Science Direct during studies done from 2000 to 2015 years. Findings: The total number of found papers was 90 while 70 papers of which were suitable for the present study. According to the study results, synthetic antioxidants, especially those used in oral edgers, have been under many toxicological tests, therefore, some of them have toxic effects, and their usage should be done carefully and accurately. It has been shown that natural products are healthier than normal synthesis of antioxidants. Conclusion: It is believed that some synthetic antioxidants including BHT and BHAare responsible for cancer and liver injury in experimental animals. Therefore, natural antioxidants have a high potential for inhibiting free radicals and preventing oxidative degradation of food and are a good alternative to chemical antioxidant preservatives.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Nowadays, one of the basic problems in rural areas of Iran is scattering and dumping of solid wastes. It is necessary to identify the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of solid waste before making any decision about solid waste management in rural areas. As any designation about anything is based on correct information, this study was performed to study the rate of per capita generation, density and physical composition of rural residues in Babol, Iran. METHODS: This cross-sectional descriptive study was performed in selected rural areas of Babol in 2007. In order to measure the per capita generation rate of solid waste (gram per day per person) in selected villages, the rate of these materials was determined in 3 consecutive days of a week in the middle of month in the middle of any season. For determining density of solid waste and waste analysis, samples were mixed completely and provided in triplicate. Any sample was been transferred to a 0.25 cubic meter plastic container and its different components were measured.FINDINGS: Maximum per capita solid waste generation rate was in the fall (786±77 gram per day) and minimum rate was in spring (387±21 gram per day). Mean per capita generation rate was 551±116 gram per day. Mean density of rural residues was 419±32 kg/m3. Mean percent of degradable materials, plastics and rubber, wood and paper, metal, glass, textile and others was 58.8, 11.9, 10.6, 6.3, 4.4, 2.4, and 5.7, respectively.CONCLUSION: Considering composition of degradable materials, composting is a suitable method for removal of rural solid wastes in Mazandaran province. According to noticeable amount of recyclable materials (plastics, paper, metal and glass), segregation and recovery programs of solid wastes should be considered in rural areas of Mazandaran.

Background and aim: The combination of ontology-based retrieval systems leads to the semantic retrieval of words. The aim of this study was to review ontology articles in information retrieval using scientometric techniques. Materials and methods: The present study was conducted using the documentary method and word cluster analysis. The research population comprised 2595 articles indexed in two databases, Scopus and Web of Science, from 2001 to 2023. The data were analyzed using Excel, BibExcel, SPSS 26 and UCINET. VOSviewer was used to draw research maps. Findings: The growth of articles in ontology and information retrieval was low and the annual growth rate averaged 0.11%.Stanford and California universities were the most prolific organizations, contributing to 6 articles, and the field of computer science was the most prolific with 43% of the articles written. The word clustering led to the formation of 4 thematic clusters: semantic retrieval of information, non-human ontology, classification of systems, and role of technology. In addition, there was a positive correlation between science production and centralities (degree centrality 0.323, closeness centrality 0.278, and betweenness centrality 0.447). Background and aim: Sharing resources and facilities, leveraging each other's experiences, and enabling interdisciplinary research are the benefits of co-authorship. The aim of this study was to investigate the co-authorship status of the scientific productions by Afghan researchers to plan the expansion of collaboration and employment of these researchers in migration destination countries, especially Iran. Materials and methods: This quantitative study examined 2732 articles indexed in Scopus with at least one Afghan author from the beginning of indexing in Scopus to September 2021. Statistical methods and analysis of the co-authorship network were used to analyze the data, via Python 3 language and VOSviewer 1.6.17 and Gephi 0.9.2. Findings: The most scientific outputs of Afghan researchers are devoted to the writings of the medical field with 40.41%. The next scientific fields with a large difference are social sciences (15.67%), biological sciences (11.16%), and engineering (10.94%), respectively. The co-authorship network of Afghan researchers and their colleagues consisted of 13,379 nodes (researchers) and 2,511,879 weighted edges (co-author relationships). Afghan researchers collaborated most frequently with researchers from the United States. Iran, despite its geographic and cultural proximity, ranks fourth among its colleagues. America is followed by England and India. Conclusion: Co-authorship varies among researchers in different scientific fields. The median number of authors of each article in dentistry, biochemistry and other majors close to medicine and basic sciences was about three times that of theoretical majors such as social sciences, arts and humanities. Background and aim: One of the important applications of scientometrics is the drawing scientific maps, which is done using various techniques, including co-citation. The aim of this study was to draw a scientific map or the intellectual structure of the sponsorship in sports in the Web of Science (WoS). Materials and methods: This scientometric study was conducted using co-citation analysis. The statistical population of the current study was all research articles in the field of sponsorship in sports during 2002-2022, indexed in the WoS and used the keyword "Sponsorship in sports". After the data were extracted from the database, they were analyzed using the VOSviewer software and the co-citation method. Findings: The scientific map of sponsorship in sports consists of 5 thematic clusters (sports sponsorship, financial sponsorship, sports, impact and performance) related to financial sponsorship in sports. The number of words studied showed that the topics published in the journal had a diverse thematic distribution. The distribution graph of vocabulary degree was of power type, indicating that a large number of words co-occur in different articles and a smaller number of words located at the end of the degree distribution graph or at the beginning of it had few co-occurrences of words. In addition, based on the number of societies formed, it was found that the authors of the articles tended to form small scientific groups in the form of universities or research institutes of their respective organizations. Conclusion: Foreign research considers the existence of a competitive structure in the economy of countries as a driving factor for the development of financial support for sports, but domestic research has examined the factors that prevent the attraction of financial support. Background and aim: Financial scholars around the world have published a large number of articles on the financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis on various sectors of the economy. This article is a critical analysis of the process of publishing articles in this field in Iran. Materials and methods: This applied study was conducted based on bibliometrics. The statistical population of the study included all articles published in the financial journals approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the financial field of the coronavirus pandemic in Iran from February 2020 to January 2023. The research data were also collected using a checklist and analyzed using Excel software. Findings: While the crisis of COVID-19 provided researchers with many and varied study opportunities in the financial field of COVID-19 pandemic, the results of this study showed that Iranian researchers were able to publish only seven articles in this field in 11 scientific journals approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the educational discipline of finance with different trends in Iran. Conclusion: Iranian universities have failed to publish articles related to the financial field of COVID-19 pandemic, and research in this field has been limited to a few specific issues and other important financial topics have been ignored. Background and aim: Civil engineering is one of the oldest and most extensive engineering professions. The aim of this study was to analyze the descriptive and content structure of scientific productions of Iranian researchers in the field of civil engineering in the Web of Science (WoS) during 2013-2022. Materials and methods: The statistical population of this quantitative, applied, descriptive and analytical study consisted all scientific productions of Iranian scientists in the field of civil engineering in WoS during the years 2013-2022. This study was carried out by the scientometric method, using VOSviewer software to draw scientific maps and Excel and SPSS software to analyze the data. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to determine whether the data were normal or not, and the research hypotheses were tested with the Spearman correlation coefficient. Findings: Most documents were published in 2021. Totally, 99.9% of the documents are written in English. The leading Iranian authors in this field are Ali Kaveh with the highest number of scientific productions (188), Mehdi Shariati with the highest number of citations (4917 citations) and Omid Bozorg-Haddad with the highest total linkage strength (230). Optimization (total linkage strength=689) was the most important in the network and the degree of centrality. There was also a significant relationship between the number of documents and the number of citations of the participating universities/organizations in the production of scientific documents in the field of civil engineering in the WoS (p< 0.001). Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between the number of documents and the number of citations of Iranian authors in the field of civil engineering in the WoS. Moreover, Islamic Azad University is located in the center of the density map of the co-authorship network of universities and institutions in the field of civil engineering, indicating the importance of this university in the co-authorship network of institutions. Background and aim: Article retraction is a sustainable tool to protect the authenticity of scientific texts. The aim of this study was to compare the nature of open access and non-open access articles with the retraction rate of Iranian researchers. Materials and methods: This applied descriptive study was carried out using scientometric indicators. The research population was the retracted articles by Iranian researchers during the period from 2000 to 2021 in the Web of Science Core Collection database (313 articles). Findings: The number of retracted articles was 313, which has increased in recent years. However, the ratio of retracted articles to total articles has not increased. The results also showed that after the date of retraction, although the number of citations of publications with both accesses decreased, the probability of open access articles being cited after retraction was about 1.1 times that of non-open access articles. Background and aim: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory disease with rapid transmission that affects most countries. The aim of the present study was to analyze the citations of COVID-19 research in the Scopus citation database from 2019 to 2021. Materials and methods: This applies study was conducted with a scientometric approach. The research population was 4269 research articles published in the field of COVID-19 during 2019-2021. VOSviewer, UCINET, and Excel were used to map and analyze the citation network. Findings: In the Scopus database, the most frequently cited articles at COVID-19 related to China. The United States had the largest number of articles in this field assigned to COVID-19 with 467 articles. Li Y, Li X, and Wang J scored the highest in rank centrality, closeness index, and intermediate index, respectively. Iranian researchers have had the most international collaboration with the countries of North America, Europe, and China. Conclusion: The countries of America and China have contributed the most in this field in terms of both article production and citations.
