Abstract The mechanical application of mortar is as an adequate solution to minimize the problems in the execution of internal and external coating of the buildings. However, few scientific studies address the gains in efficiency afforded by mechanization as well as the scarce parameters of waste, productivity and quality that could contribute to choosing this technology. This article aims to characterize the presented constructive technology and to investigate the waste of mortar (percentage of losses and consumption) and the productivity of the labor in the execution of internal and external coating for sealing in the application of wet-process sprayed mortar. Investigations were carried out in 08 construction works, which presented results of up to 150% and 0.18h/m2 for, respectively, loss of industrialized mortar and labor productivity. Thus, the present research contributes to the advancement of the knowledge about the wet-process sprayed mortar by increasing the understanding of the technology. Other important contributions are the indicators of losses and productivity and their detailed measurement, which are efficient tools to assist the companies in the decision-making by adopting this technology as well as in the management of the activities during the execution process.

The aim of this study was to characterize the milk production in the municipality of Cromínia GO , the technological level of production units. They selected 46 properties, of which data for 20 were submitted to descriptive statistical analysis . The properties were divided into three groups , taking into account the daily production of L / day : Small 0 to 150 ; and 150 to 300 average large > 300L / day . 100 % of the properties had individual tank milk tank , representatively all complained about the lack of manpower and qualified technical assistance .One of the largest problems that are leading to all small and medium producers and a percentage of the assessed major 60% being more than half. As the quality of milk in fat parameters, protein and solids can be said that the three groups in question fell into place in NR62 , but the CBT total bacterial count and CCS somatic cell count questions also the three groups showed mean values above maximum allowed under the rules of NR 62 thus no longer fitting in the normative standards of quality . However producers use the means that each one gets to production on their properties , for everyone to beneficiaries according to NR62 lack only solve management -related problems mentioned above. Milk production in Cromínia GO showed no specification , but its current activity this stemmed livestock in their milk majority and mixed , extractive and extensive livestock.

This study aims to present simulated application of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) to production management in a small dairy industry. For this, a case study with a qualitative approach was carried out in a dairy industry in Ceará through data collection from company documents and direct observation, over a period of four months. With the simulated application of the five-step TOC optimization tool, it was possible to identify and explore the main constraints of the productive system, suggesting, as a result, a change in the productive process that would allow not only the elimination of the restrictive resource but also the increase in the productive capacity of the production line in which the restriction was imposed.

This study evaluates the empowerment in the manufacturing unit of a multinational company of design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and implements and their respective spare parts, located in the South Region of Brazil. It is an applied research, qualitative-quantitative approach, with descriptive-exploratory objectives and technical procedures of case study, based on the dimensions (constructs) inherent to Alignment, Authority, Training and Commitment of employees. The 111 respondents were selected by systematic random sampling and delivered their opinions in a structured questionnaire with 16 questions. Descriptive statistics, internal consistency analysis (Cronbach's alpha) and correlation analysis (Pearson's coefficient) were used. The results show that empowerment is an effective tool for the creation of a culture where employees exercise the knowledge, ability, authority and desire to decide, act and take responsibility for the results to contribute significantly to the company success. Implementing this process would be the initial step in building a high performance, reliable and self-sufficient management system without recurring needs for top management interventions, even in crisis situations. This study used environmental accounting tools to collect and organize information related to the market and work organization of the artisan fishing community of Penha, SC. This research was based on two sources of data and references to standardize information. We calculated productivity indicators and evaluated the possibility of using them for environmental management of this resource. We calculated the consumed inputs, costs, produced and marketed quantities, destinations and sales values, and the seasonality of effort and catches. Based upon these, it was possible to calculate indicators of environmental and economic productivity, in monthly and annual cycles that allowed us to identify the best periods in which to close the shrimp harvesting season. Such methods, however, require great effort for data collection and tracking, especially in a traditional community of artisanal fisheries lacking the strict control needed for systemic study of productivity and economic organization.

The problematization of the work is aimed at revising the existing literature of the Toyota principles of Production by correlating them with Western thinkers who formulated several principles that fused with Japanese culture, leadership, structure and organizational communication positively influenced the production system in Japan. Emphasizes the key role of the production planning and control sector. Production Management. The Japanese "reverse" thinking that levels the hierarchy and optimizes the production process of a company. The hypothesis is to highlight the relevance of Western thinkers: Feigenbaum, Deming, Juran, Drucker, in Japanese industry; and the concepts of administration of Japanese production with its Japanese influencers, among them: Taiichi Ohno. The literary review aims at exploring the history and interrelations between the West / East (philosophies, administrative concepts, production management) in order to intertwine them yes and not concomitantly and to highlight the difficulty in finding collections for such research, Leading to the possibility of a deepening after graduation.
