Introduction. The paper deals with the calculation of wooden arches taking into account the nonlinear relationship between stresses and instantaneous deformations, as well as creep and geometric nonlinearity, are considered. The analysis is based on the integral equation of the viscoelastoplastic hereditary aging model, originally proposed by A.G. Tamrazyan [1] to describe the nonlinear creep of concrete. Materials and Methods. The creep measure is taken in accordance with the work of I.E. Prokopovich and V.A. Zedgenidze [2] as a sum of exponential functions. The transition from the integral form of the creep law to the differential form is shown. The relationship between stresses and instantaneous deformations for wood under compression is determined from the Gerstner formula, and elastic work is assumed under tension. The solution is carried out using the finite element method in combination with the Newton-Raphson method and the Euler method according to the scheme that involves a stepwise increase in the load with correction of the stiffness matrix taking into account the change in the coordinates of the nodes with the sequential calculation of additional displacements of the nodes, which are due to the residual forces. The proposed approach for increasing the accuracy of determination of creep deformations at each step provides using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method instead of the Euler method. Results. Based on the Lagrange variational principle, expressions are obtained for the stiffness matrix and the vector of additional dummy loads due to creep. The method developed by the authors is implemented in the form of a program in the MATLAB environment. Calculation examples are given for parabolic arches simply supported at the ends without an intermediate hinge and with an intermediate hinge in the middle of the span under the action of a uniformly distributed load. The results obtained are compared in the viscoelastic and viscoelastic formulation. The reliability of the results is validated through the calculation in the elastic formulation in the ANSYS software package. Discussion and Conclusions. For the arches considered, it is found that even with a load close to the instant critical, the growth of time travel is limited. Thus, the nature of their work under creep conditions differs drastically from the nature of the deformation of compressed rods.

Electrolyte-plasma treatment (EPT) has become widespread in industry as an alternative to traditional chemical, electrochemical and mechanical methods of improving the surface quality of products made of metallic materials. The advantages of EPT are a high intensity of smoothing of microroughnesses, the use of low-concentration salt solutions as electrolytes, and the ability to process items of complex shape. The main disadvantage of the method is its high energy consumption; therefore, the method сan be classified as energy-intensive production. To reduce the energy intensity and increase the efficiency of the EPT process of metallic materials while maintaining high intensity, processing quality and environmental safety, we proposed a fundamentally new pulse method (pulsed EPT), which combines the advantages of both electrochemical processing and EPT. The method is realized by combining two alternating stages within one millisecond pulse: electrochemical and electrolyte-plasma. The high efficiency of the developed method is achieved due to the main intensive metal removal during the implementation of the electrochemical stage with a high current density and optimization of the duration of the electrolyte-plasma stage, which provides a high surface quality. A decrease in the repetition period of pulses with a decrease in their duration makes it possible to increase the electrochemical component of the process and to provide a more intensive metal removal, to remove significant surface irregularities. An increase in the pulse repetition period with a simultaneous increase in their duration permits to increase the electrolyte-plasma component of the process and achieve a low roughness with a general decrease in the energy intensity of the process. As a result of the work, the influence of the pulse characteristics of the developed process, the concentration and temperature of the electrolyte on the current density and the duration of the electrochemical and electrolyte-plasma stages has been investigated, a comparative analysis of the efficiency of using the pulsed EPT process instead of the traditional process at constant voltage has been carried out. It has been found that the metal removal rate in the developed pulse process is more than five times higher than the removal rate in the process based on the use of constant voltage, and is 40 μm/min, while the energy costs for the implementation of the pulse process is 19 % less.

Sintered friction materials are widely used in friction units of automotive vehicles and special purpose vehicles. The main purpose is to transmit torque to the actuator. The development of the technology market requires the development and use of new units. At the same time, the creation of new materials is required, which also applies to sintered friction materials. This group of materials is characterized by a high service life, efficiency of torque transmission, as well as the ability to restore performance in case of violation of operating modes. One of the most significant parameters characterizing a sintered friction material is wear resistance. In most cases, it determines not only the resource of the unit itself, but the entire machine as a whole. A special place is occupied by brake units, which also use friction materials. The increased wear resistance of the friction material contributes to a decrease in the efficiency and service life of the brake system. Evaluation of the wear resistance of a friction material for the given operational parameters is a very long and costly process. The development of methodology and methods for accelerating the assessment of wear resistance is an important scientific and practical task. The paper presents the results of using artificial neural networks to predict the service life of a composite friction material based on copper on the sliding speed, pressure on the material and the amount of lubricant supplied to the friction zone. An artificial neural network has been trained using an array of experimental data for the FM-15 friction material. The training results have shown high accuracy, correctness of the proposed and implemented network architecture. The developed software has demonstrated its efficiency and the possibility of using it in calculations to determine the wear of a composite friction material.

Introduction. Composite materials are used in the construction of transport infrastructure facilities, buildings and structures for various purposes, in housing and communal services. Calculation of structures made of composite materials is used in the field of stress-strain state, buckling, analysis of material under tension, the effect of cracks on the state of these structures. The main properties of composite materials and a method of manufacturing a cylindrical shell structure from a composite material are considered. The total number of winding options is calculated using the combinatorial method.Materials and methods. A composite cylindrical shell with a radius of R = 300 mm and a height of H = 600 mm was chosen as the object of research. The creation of a model of a cylindrical shell in a finite element analysis package is described. An axial compressive load acting on the shell with a force of F = 100 kN is specified. Determination of the critical force ratio.Results. The results of the analysis of the loss of stability of the cylindrical shell are obtained and the graphs of the dependence of the critical force on the options for laying the layers are presented. Depending on the magnitude of the critical force and the form of buckling, the most and least favorable options for laying layers in a composite material package have been determined.Discussion and conclusions. A conclusion is made of the dependence of the critical force on the combination of stacking layers in the composite.

The article addresses the issues of the efficiency of forensic activity and its impact on the successful performance of forensic conduct. The author offers a systematic analysis of the processes of forming efficiency indicators for forensic activity and assessment criteria for a Head’s of a forensic organization activity. The paper also describes qualitative and quantitative indicators of the efficiency of a forensic organization when assessing the efficacy of a head’s performance, including by the efficiency indicators approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for forensic institutions of the system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the probabilities of the negative efficiency of a head’s activity and its impact on expert conduct. The article determines the trends of the further research of the issues of improving the efficacy of forensic organizations’ activities by forming new criteria for assessing a forensic organization head’s performance influencing the quality of forensic conduct.

This article describes the features of the equipment developed at the Rzhanov Institute of Semiconductor Physics for conducting experiments on growing semiconductor heterostructures from molecular beams in outer space under the conditions of an orbital flight of the International Space Station. Working out the processes of epitaxy of semiconductor films in outer space will allow us to grow complex semiconductor structures with sharp boundaries, which serve as the basis for the creation of solar cells, as well as devices of modern microwave, optoand microelectronics. Cascade photovoltaic converters based on such multilayer heterostructures of A3B5 semiconductor compounds have high efficiency and radiation resistance and, therefore, are most widely used for the manufacture of space solar cells. The high efficiency of such batteries is due to the wide spectral range in which solar radiation is effectively absorbed and used in photovoltaic conversion.

A significant number of patents and publications in the open press show the intensity of the ongoing research to create new methods of synchronization and specialized ground-based equipment for frequency-time synchronization. The article considers the implementation of an autonomous synchronization system between ground-based satellite communication points, which is used in conditions of unfavorable reception or absence of signals from global navigation satellite systems. The paper presents studies on the assessment of the error of time synchronization of geographically separated ground points of satellite communications. The basics of constructing the receiving equipment of a radio engineering system are considered and the mutual correlation of the reference signal of the receiving equipment and the received input synchronization signal is calculated. The results of field tests of mutual synchronization equipment are presented, where the potential synchronization accuracy of equipment at ground objects with previously unknown coordinates was determined, while the synchronization equipment provided measurement of the signal propagation time from one ground object to another with the formation of universal time scales on points. The method of mutual synchronization of linked points is carried out by the duplex method at a frequency of 1065 MHz (request) and 625 MHz (response) by phase-code-manipulated signals with a base equal to 1023 and a duration of 0,1 ms.

An important stage in the development of temperature control interface modules for measuring instruments, implemented according to the main-modular principle of construction on the basis of a central instrument module and used as part of a measuring system on spacecraft for various purposes, is to ensure their noise-immune operation when the measuring system is exposed to a combination of various types of interference which determine the electromagnetic environment on the spacecraft. The article is devoted to the analysis of the characteristics of various types of interference affecting the measuring system, identifying the ways of their penetration into the temperature control interface module and determining the influence of the characteristics of these interference on the choice of measures to ensure the required noise immunity of the temperature control interface module as part of the measuring device. It is shown that the paths of interference penetration into the interface temperature control module depend on the frequency and time characteristics of the interference affecting the measuring system. Measures to mitigate these interference must be determined after assessing the danger of their penetration into the interface temperature control module for each path separately in the entire frequency range of their impact. Based on the results of such assessments, a set of reasonable measures should be determined to ensure the noise immunity of the interface temperature control module as part of the measuring device, implemented in combination at the design levels of the measuring system, the measuring device and the interface temperature control module.

The purpose of the study is an analytical description of the section of the ballistic trajectory corresponding to the normal fall of the spacecraft on the surface of an atmosphereless planet. In this case, the motion of a normally falling body is characterized by an increasing acceleration of gravity. The problem of the speed, time and acceleration of the normal fall of a body on the planet's surface in the absence of an atmosphere is reduced to solving a second-order differential equation, which is solved by the standard method. A feature of the solution is the formal use of the tabular integral at an intermediate stage. It turned out, however, that his formula is unreliable, namely, the derivative of the right-hand side is not equal to the integrand. It follows from this that the possible existing solutions to this problem, based on the use of the indicated tabular integral, are incorrect. The article presents the correction of this tabular integral, which is an incidental result of the study. In this work, the time equation of motion of a body normally falling on the surface of the planet in the absence of an atmosphere, as well as the time equations of its speed and acceleration are obtained. The results obtained can be useful in calculating passive gravity assist during interplanetary flights and calculating the sheer fall of small celestial bodies and spent structural element s of spacecraft.

Introduction. Currently, internationalisation is a priority for the development of higher education, as an institutional component of its academic functioning, both in terms of ensuring the quality of education, and in connection with the implementation of a multi-level integration agenda, in which a modern university is involved. In order to increase the effectiveness of the international dimension of higher education, it remains necessary to clarify a number of theoretical and fundamental questions, among them one of the most important is the problem of the institutional conditions of the academic environment that contribute to the emergence of internationalisation. Mass higher education can be found as fundamental condition and in that relation the clarification of the interrelations between massification and internationalisation of higher education can expand the theoretical understanding of current processes in higher education, providing the necessary theoretical framework for further applied research.The aim of the present article is to investigate the interrelations between the massification and internationalisation of higher education in order to clarify the institutional conditions that contribute to the development of the international dimension of the modern university.Methodology and research methods. The methodological framework of this research involves socio-philosophical tools. In particular, the research is based on a retrospective analysis and philosophical deconstruction of the socio-historical transition of higher education from elite to mass model. Both statistical data and analytical materials on the national conditions of transition to mass higher education are used to investigate the issue.Results. The massification of the higher school became reality due to the historical development of social systems, representing the further evolution of global higher education. Acting as a source of society's emancipation and democratisation, the massification of higher education ensured the reorientation of universities from upbringing needs (ideology) to professional competence (economics). Meanwhile, mass higher education is considered to be the reason of destruction of the imperialist agenda, including the problem of alienated labour. Institutionally, the massification of higher education has become possible due the state-private cooperation. The implementation of this cooperation requires two options: 1) via government subsidies to private higher education, 2) via private investments into public higher education. Mass higher education is an institutional factor of internationalisation development: 1) it creates a need to improve the quality of education; 2) it acts as an instrument of the international integration.Scientific novelty. The connection between mass education and internationalisation of higher education has been found. Mass higher education acts as an institutional factor in the formation of academic demand for the development of internationalisation processes: 1) forming the need to improve the quality of education; 2) acting as one of the tools for implementing the integration agenda. The absence of processes of massification and internationalisation in the modern system of higher education may indicate on fundamental barriers in the national development of a particular state.Practical significance. The results obtained will contribute to further fundamental research in the fields of philosophy and sociology of education. Moreover, the present findings could be applied as a theoretical basis for further practical research on modern processes of higher education development.

Introduction. Arc surfacing through feeding an additional filler wire heated by an additional arc burning between the filler wire and the electrode wire is considered. Under the conditions of such surfacing, the minimization of the input of the remelted substrate metal into the weld metal is studied. The research objectives are to examine the conditions providing self-regulation of this advanced arc surfacing process, and to evaluate control capabilities of the heat impact power on the metal and on the weld metal flow. Materials and Methods. In solving a wide range of welding and surfacing tasks, it is advisable to use engineering analysis methods based on physicomathematical modeling of processes and phenomena. These include: self-regulation of the arc process under joint melting of the electrode and the filler wires; assessment of the possibilities to control the heat impact power on the metal and on the weld metal flow during the formation of the weld The features of the arc surfacing of anticorrosive chromium-nickel steels on low-alloy steel are considered in the paper. Results. New mathematical dependences are proposed that describe physical phenomena under surfacing with an arc interaction between the electrode and filler wire. A physicomathematical model of the joint melting of the electrode and filler wire is developed. It provides determining the values of the control parameters. In addition, you can find out how much heat affects the substrate from: heat release in the main arc, droplet flows of the weld electrode and filler metal, arc plasma Discussion and Conclusions. It is established how the current and the lengths of the main and additional arcs are affected by the supply voltages. The feed rate of the electrode and filler wire with a diameter of 1.6 mm and 1.2 mm made of Inconel 625 alloy is determined. It is shown what thermal effect the substrate undergoes in this case. It is noted that due to the larger value of the main arc current, the diameter of the electrode wire should be larger than that of the filler wire. The heat flow in the substrate is created mainly by the flow of the weld metal droplets.

The review of existing approaches to the study of the problem of language planning is carried out. The features of the implementation of its main aspects are studied. The definitions of the term “language planning” in domestic and foreign sociolinguistics are compared. The activity of actors is studied at the macrolevel and microlevel of language planning. Attention is paid to the goals of language planning, which include not only work on changes in the areas of language use, but also counteraction to the speech shift, which can ultimately lead to the death of the language. Language planning is viewed as a combination of three main areas: status planning, corpus planning and planned language acquisition. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of these components in relation to some of the title languages of the Russian Federation: Tuvan, Kalmyk and Karelian. It is argued that prestigious planning is the foundation for successful language fore-casting. The importance of considering both social and political components in language forecasting is emphasized. The relevance of the study is due to the need to create a base for the subsequent linguistic forecast, which is impossible without an analytical assessment of the existing linguistic situation.

The paper presents a method for minimizing the torque value of the multi-time deploymentfolding hinges. The objects of research were the hinges assembly of multi-time deployment-folding mechanical devices of solar array, which are used as part of the platforms of spacecraft. A computational analysis of the forces and moments that act in the hinges in the process of their opening and folding is carried out. The minimization of the excessive torque value without changing the design and layout of the hinge is possible by changing the shape of the dependence of the spring drive force on the angle of rotation of the hinge. The possibility of using constant force springs as part of the hinge is considered, the existing design algorithms are improved and a program for calculating the geometric and mechanical characteristics of constant force springs is developed. Experimental data were obtained for measuring the forces of springs of various configurations, showing the dependence of the magnitude of the force on the magnitude of the spring deformation and confirming the efficiency of the proposed calculation algorithm. A prototype of a hinge assembly with a constant force spring drive was developed and manufactured. The possibility of minimizing the excess torque without the need to change the design of the hinge while maintaining its technical characteristics was experimentally confirmed.

Introduction. The article is devoted to a current issue of improving the quality of road surface cleaning and increasing the resource of brush working equipment. Improving the quality of cleaning and the resource of the brush working equipment will reduce the cost of operating a communal machine. In the process of operation, the pile of the cylindrical brush is worns out, while its elastic characteristics change, which is reflected in the required pressing force to maintain the most favorable value of the width of the contact spot from the condition of ensuring high quality cleaning and minimal intensity of pile wear.Materials and methods. The results of studies of the interaction of the pile of a cylindrical brush with the surface to be cleaned are presented at various degrees of wear of the brush pile. The research results are presented in analytical and graphical forms. The calculations were carried out using the Microsoft Excel software product and the Mathkad software environment for mathematical calculations.Results. The paper shows the dependence of the degree of wear of the pile of the brush working equipment on the actual radius of the cylindrical brush. The relationship between the width of the contact spot and the deformation of the cylindrical brush at different degrees of wear and tear is shown as a graph.The influence of the degree of wear on the elastic characteristics of the brush working equipment is considered. The dependences of the average stiffness coefficient on the degree of wear of the pile of a cylindrical brush, as well as the required pressing force on the degree of wear at different values of the width of the contact patch of the cylindrical brush are given.

The article analyzes the processes taking place in the youth environment in the context of digitalization of society. The role of social networks is discussed. Since its inception, network analysis has been formed as an interdisciplinary direction in which psychologists, sociologists, communication specialists, anthropologists, mathematicians and statisticians combine their efforts. The social network as a way of organizing social knowledge requires a special methodological approach, different from the traditional methods of analyzing sociological information. “Digital habits” significantly affect the behavior of young people, change the “traditional” way of life. The article is of interest to specialists dealing with problems of sociology of youth, sociology of global processes, methodology of sociological research.

A problem of combining elementary sectors of an airspace region is considered, in which a minimum number of combined sectors must be obtained with restrictions on their load and feasibility of combinations such as the requirement of the space connectivity or the membership of a given set of permissible combinations. Computational methods are proposed and tested to be used for solution of general problems of airspace sectorization. In particular, two types of combinatorial algorithms are proposed for constructing partitions of a finite set with specified element weights and graph-theoretical relationships between the elements. Partitions are constructed by use of a branch and bound method to minimize the number of subsets in the final partition, while limiting the total weight of elements in the subset. In the first type algorithm, ready-made components of the final partition are formed in each node of the branch and bound tree. The remaining part of the original set is further divided at the lower nodes. In the second type algorithm, the entire current partition is formed in each node, the components of which are supplemented at the lower nodes. When comparing algorithms performance, the problems are divided into two groups, one of which contains a connectivity requirement, and the other does not. Several integer programming formulations are also presented. Computational complexity of two problem variants is established: a bin packing type problem with restrictions on feasible combinations, and covering type problem.

Extrusion of feed ensures a high quality of the fi nished product.(Research purpose) To increase structural elements durability of the press extruder by optimizing their strength characteristics.(Materials and methods) The authors studied the technological principle of extrusion. The experiment planning method was applied. They examined the process of press extruder operation with a variable pitch screw during the lentils processing. The strength characteristics of the press-extruder elements were checked during design or strength calculations.(Results and discussion) The authors showed the role of the main geometrical parameters of the extruder screw – the slope of the turn and the cutting step – in the preparation of high-quality grain feed. It was found that the turn pitch should be calculated depending on the friction coeffi cient of the starting material against the press-extruder body, the type and properties of the supplied material. The auger fatigue stresses were determined as a result of constant sign shear load and temperature eff ects. The drive power, the extruder productivity were calculated to clarify the screw characteristics, as well as the hydraulic resistance of the matrix output head, the distance of the technological zones. It was confi rmed that the prefabricated screw structure, consisting of sections with diff erent pitch, gave the press extruder versatility.(Conclusions) The authors found that the key was one of the most loaded structural elements of the press-extruder screw. The maximum calculated voltage from a constant load was calculated – 26.98 megapascals. It was determined that the stress in the cross-section of the key under temperature action was 591 megapascals, which exceeded the yield stress for the selected material, equal to 360 megapascals for steel 45. In the course of experimental studies, a value of impact strength was obtained that corresponded to the standard value of the initially selected steel grade (38 kilojoules per cubic meter), but didn’t meet the requirements for this structural element (at least 50 kilojoules per cubic meter).

The article carries out an analysis of the competitiveness of the Russian space industry in the international space services market according to the following indicators: the volume of budget of national space organizations, the volume of the commercial space exploration market, the number of space launches, positions in manned cosmonautics, production of spacecrafts, deep space exploration, staffing of the space industry and international integration in the space sphere. The paper conducts a SWOT-analysis of the Russian space industry. Its main strengths are: leading positions in manned cosmonautics, leading positions in the number of space launches per year, and extensive experience in space exploration. The greatest concern is caused by: the lack of development of space robotics, insufficient programs for the development of deep space, financial problems and the private sector of Russian cosmonautics, which is in its infancy. The author substantiates the necessity of reforming the Russian space industry.

Work is devoted research of signal power dependence that will be used in the measurements and noise components of the signal from the digital filter type, filter parameters for various signal-to-noise ratios. The substantiation of the relevance of research is given, which consists in finding the possibility of using digital filters for a device for determining the coordinates of a radio signal source in satellite telecommunications, providing a minimum error in measuring the phase difference. The structure of the system for determining the coordinates of the radio signal source is given. The developed computer model and its description are presented. The researchers are considered for digital recursive band-pass filters of the Butterworth, Chebyshev type 1, Chebyshev type 2, Zolotarev-Cauer type, which are specified using a discrete linear system. Appropriate conclusions are drawn about the applicability of digital filters in the device for determining coordinates. The types of filters are determined and requirements are presented to ensure the minimum error in measuring the phase difference.

According to the World Health Organization, the number of potential pathogens worldwide is very high, which increases the likelihood of a new pandemic. The impact of the new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) on all spheres of human activity, including the air transport industry, has shown that it is necessary to take into account the possibilities of its functioning under the new conditions. During the research, the possibility of using automated modular training systems for the air traffic controllers training in the remote access mode has been considered. The well-known simulators do not implement a justified instrumental procedure for measuring the acquired skills in air traffic services and the assessment of their development is carried out by the instructor, who reacts to the student’s actions on the basis of his experience. It is difficult for the instructor to control the development of a student’s individual skills and he has to rely on his own experience. To simulate the controller-pilot contour, pseudo-pilots are involved, manually changing the flight parameters of the aircraft and simulating R/T communication. The well-known simulators do not allow independent training. As a result, a conceptual design was formed and a promising simulator with the function of training automation and voice support was developed. The effectiveness of the proposed solutions was tested in comparison with the traditional approach to simulator training. Eventually it was found that after using a special simulator, students' mistakes decreased. Subsequently, the simulator was used for practical training of students providing the distance learning in circumstances of pandemics (Covid-19). The project showed its viability and the ability to conduct remote training of air traffic controllers, after appropriate refinement of the promising simulator.

The paper presents the technology of obtaining flat-conical lenses (axicons) by the method of free grinding a work-piece to a flat tool through a layer of abrasive suspension. For this, theoretical and experimental studies of the regularities of stock removal from the base of the cone and its lateral surface have been carried out. The processing modes have been identified that ensure both uniform operation of the flat surface of the part and enhanced removal of the allowance in the edge or central zone of this surface. During the study of the processing of the conical surface, the set-up parameters of the technological equipment have been established, at which there is a minimum deviation of the generatrix of the cone from straightness and maximum productivity of the process. The stages of processing conical lenses are proposed, which allow to assign the optimal sequence of operations in the manufacture of this type of parts from blanks of a cylindrical shape in cases where the ratio of the height of the cone to the diameter of its base H/d £ 0.5. The main stages of processing include: grinding of the bases of cylindrical blanks with maintaining their mutual parallelism with a given accuracy; polishing one of the cylinder bases to achieve the required roughness and deviation from non-flatness; fastening a cylindrical blank to an auxiliary plane-parallel glass plate using molecular cohesion forces; mechanical fastening of a cylindrical work-piece with a collet adapter mandrel for a plane-parallel glass plate; applying the nearest sphere to the second base of the cylindrical blank; drawing a conical surface on the spherical part of a plano-convex lens; grinding and polishing the conical surface to achieve the required roughness and straightness of the cone generatrix. The degree of efficiency of the setup parameters of the machine has been revealed depending on the technological heredity of the work-piece from the point of view of the distribution of the allowance to be removed over the machined surface.

In this article a research of the nature of modern enterprises development is presented, characterized by moving from material-based to information-based economic products. It was discovered that economically developed enterprises have almost exhausted their potential for further growth due to organizational improvements, previously affecting mainly the material part of the economic product. Therefore, studies on improving the efficiency of the production organization of information economic products are becoming more and more relevant.Purpose: the main purpose of this research is to develop extended principles of lean manufacturing of information economic products. To achieve this goal following tasks were resolved: material intensity analysis was implemented, the structure of information economic product (IEP) was examined, traditional principles of lean manufacturing were reviewed and expanded for information economic product creation.The object of the research are modern industrial enterprises that apply the concept of lean manufacturing or similar. The subject of the research are the principles of lean manufacturing for creating an information economic product.Methods: the time series extrapolation method and the empirical analysis method were used to calculate the material intensity index of products. Abstract and comparative analysis methods were applied to develop the extended principles of IEP lean manufacturing. In addition, methods of analysis and synthesis, the historical method, as well as elements of factor analysis were used for the study.Results: the material and information structure of the economic product is considered and proposed. The nature of the dynamics of its changes in the process of changing the stages of technological and economic development of scientific and technological progress is justified, which allowed us to argue the vector of changes in the structure of costs for creating a modern material product in terms of increasing information and reducing material components. The constantly rising costs of creating information increasingly characterize it as a market product that has its own cost structure, which gave reason to classify it as an information economic product (IEP). In this regard, the structure of the information economic product was studied and developed, based on the analysis of the term of "information" both from the perspective of the organization and operational management and from the perspective of related branches of knowledge. As a result of the comparative analysis, extended principles of IEP lean manufacturing were developed.Conclusions and Relevance: the analysis of the material intensity index revealed a tendency to a continuous decrease in the material intensity of the economic product and an increase in the information component. As a result of the study of the structure of the information economic product, it was revealed that the potential for increasing the economic efficiency of modern industrial enterprises is primarily laid in improving logical data processing. It is proposed to achieve this by using the developed extended principles of IEP lean manufacturing, among which the main one is the principle of intellectual and creative reciprocity.

Introduction. The study results of the abrasive processing of parts made of polymer-composite materials are presented. The features of processing polymer composites and the technology of preforming through waterjet cutting are described. The stages of preparation of a part made of polymer-composite material for the “glueing” operation are investigated. Materials and Methods. Dependences for determining the surface roughness under waterjet cutting of polymercomposite material are considered. Research is carried out to achieve the required surface roughness under adhesive bonding of workpieces. The dependence is given that describes the roughness that is required for a reliable adhesive bond. Results. The theoretical and experimental studies of the waterjet cutting process are resulted. Their implementation technique, the tool and equipment used are described. The results of theoretical and experimental studies are compared. Their high convergence is established. The results of experimental studies on the preparation of parts made of polymercomposite materials for glueing are shown. The abrasive tools and processing modes are selected. Discussions and Conclusions. The process design procedure of abrasive treatment of workpieces from polymercomposite materials is proposed.

Introduction. The paper considers problems of creating information support for solving the task of assessing the maturity level of an organization. It is proposed to use intelligent information systems, i.e. expert systems. Substantive aspects of various stages of creating such systems are briefly described; the expert system architecture, which is based on using a fuzzy expert knowledge base, is given. The work objective was to create new software to solve the problem of assessing the maturity level of an organization. Materials and Methods. Previously performed modeling of the subject domain under consideration allowed us to create a knowledge base in the form of production memory, which is the basis of the fuzzy inference mechanism. The software is written in PHP and is suitable for embedding in complex web applications. The software system is a web application written primarily in PHP and JavaScript. The software works in all modern web browsers, which accelerates significantly the implementation and deployment based on both the parent-enterprise and its subsidiaries. Results. New software has been created to automate the processing of questionnaires during the organization’s selfassessment based on key indicators, as well as considering 6 main groups of the quality management system indicators. Application of the program will significantly speed up the process of input and processing of expert information required for self-assessment. The program provides organizations to get an adequate idea of the opportunities and prospects for improving the organization’s quality management system. Some fragments of the software system interface are given. Discussion and Conclusions. The proposed software can be used to determine the level of maturity of an organization. The application of Web-technologies improves usability, reduces software support costs. The software can be both deployed in the existing network infrastructure of a customer and used by all the functionality through connecting to a remote server. The software is optimized for various screen resolutions, which allows you to use it not only at the central office, but also when analyzing the quality management system of corporate customers. The traffic generated by the web application is optimized for working with mobile devices with a low-speed Internet connection. Application of the program will significantly reduce the time for users to enter and process expert information required for the problem solving and to eliminate duplication of information.

The effectiveness of research teams and scientists is largely estimated by their publication activity. One indicator of the quality of scientific work is the absence of plagiarism. The purpose of this paper was to consider the problems that arise with the formal-mechanistic approach to the detection of plagiarism in scientific papers. The questions of the correlation of meaning and plagiarism; quoting your own work; quoting and inaccurate quoting; the use of generally accepted expressions, laws, definitions; the need to refine anti-plagiarism systems are considered. It is shown that due to the fact that anti-plagiarism systems do not analyze the meaning of the text, “overdiagnosis” occurs. As a result of an uncritical approach to the conclusions of such systems, the writing of scientific papers becomes more complicated. The necessity of developing more accurate criteria for determining what is plagiarized in scientific papers is noted. Some suggestions were made to reduce the shortcomings of the formal approach.

Objective. Determination of the stress state of a ground base with a trapezoidal cutoff from the action of own weight, according to the conditions of equivalence of effects, is reduced to determining the stress state from the external surface load distributed according to the hydrostatic law.Methods. The problem of determining the stresses in the structure foundations at any degree of areas development of a plastic strain of the soil has a strict mathematical formulation, and similarity criteria can be obtained using a simpler construct of similarity theory. The simulation is performed by using similarity criteria based on which the model is executed, the loading conditions are determined, and the transition from the values measured on the model to the corresponding values of the full-scale structure is carried out. Similarity criteria can be obtained either with the help of similarity theory or with the help of dimensional analysis. An even greater effect of increasing the self-weight of a model made of transparent optically sensitive material can be achieved using the immersion method in conjunction with the centrifugal modeling method. If necessary, the stresses in the model area are fixed using the "freeze" method.Result. Using the equations system of the mixed problem of the elasticity and plasticity theory, and the scale method, similarity criteria are established for modeling stresses in the foundations of buildings and structures. Limitations on the choice of similarity multipliers for loose soils, the possibility of using the method of centrifugal modeling, as well as features of modeling connected soils are noted.Conclusion. A necessary condition for the similarity of the stress states of loose homogeneous bases in nature and the model is the equality of the similarity multipliers of the geometric scale and the force factor.

Introduction. Improving the quality and operational reliability of welded structures of power equipment is an urgent task of welding production. Its solution is possible on the basis of the development or selection of advanced methods and technologies of electroslag welding (ESW), which eliminate the causes of the formation of tempering cracks (TC) in thick-plate welds. This paper considers a comparative assessment and recommendations on the selection of such advanced ESW methods. The work objectives are to solve the problem of forming a fine-grained, uniform, crack-resistant metal structure of a welded joint with high mechanical characteristics and to reduce the negative impact of the ESW thermal cycle on the base metal. The solution to this problem is possible on the basis of a reasonable choice of methods and technologies for ESW with regulated (controlled) thermal cycle. Materials and Methods. A comparative analysis of advanced methods and technologies of ESW with a controlled thermal cycle is carried out; a comparison of their pros and cons is provided; practical recommendations on the selection of advanced methods for controlling the thermal cycle parameters are offered. Results. It is shown that moderate heat input at high-speed ESW in a narrow gap provides a single pass to form a welded joint with a finer-grained structure and high mechanical properties compared to the in-house technologies of ESW and automatic submerged-arc welding. Recommendations for practical use of the method in welding production are given. Discussion and Conclusions. The results obtained are recommended to be used in the development of ESW technology for thick-sheet welded structures of nuclear and thermal power equipment that enables to abandon postwelding heat treatment (normalization and high tempering).

Introduction. The main work objective is systematization and analysis of structural defects of vacuum ion-plasma coatings; on this basis, their classification principles are developed and given in the paper. Another important part of the work is the experimental study on one of the specific defects of coatings, which the authors propose to call “defect of substructural origin”. Materials and Methods. PVD coatings of various nitride and metal systems 1.5-9.0 μm thick were used as an object of the research. Coatings were applied in vacuum installations using arc and magnetron evaporators. The research results were obtained by high resolution electron microscopy, energy dispersive analysis and indentation. Results. Various types of defects in ion-vacuum coatings are presented as the research results. They include discontinuities, deformation of crystallites, and structural inhomogeneity. The principles of their systematization are validated. It is proposed to classify defects into droplet, substructural, and growth defects (depending on the causes of their nucleation), as well as regular and stochastic ones (depending on their distribution in the coating volume). The study of “substructural defects”, classified by the authors as stochastic, is given special consideration. These micrometric defects are shaped like a cylinder with a conical “head”. Their main axle is oriented perpendicular to the surface of the coating. They can be “extruded” (tore away) by the coating. The paper validates the dislocation mechanism of their nucleation and the helicoid growth principle. Conclusions. The inference is summarized that the proposed systematization of defects in ion-plasma coatings has the character of an intermediate result of research in this scientific area. At this, the “substructural defects” do not have a fatal effect on the structure and properties of the coating due to a small size.

The article examines the methods of intelligent analysis of telemetric information of spacecraft. The current state and main shortcomings of the control process during the spacecraft flight control are briefly given. It is proposed to eliminate the shortcomings by introducing intellectualization procedures in terms of telemetric information analysis. Based on the methods of cluster data analysis, a method is proposed for automatically determining the moment of occurrence of anomalies in the state of a spacecraft, which are precursors of off-nominal situations. A schematic diagram of the operation of an intelligent control system based on the use of the method of cluster analysis of the spacecraft telemetric information is presented. The conditions for choosing the method and criterion for clustering are substantiated, taking into account the goals pursued in solving control problems during flight control of the spacecraft. A mathematical description of the clustering methods and criteria selected for further practical testing is given. To test the proposed method of analysis for various methods and criteria of clustering, calculations were performed using archived telemetric information. From the point of view of the time of early detection of the anomaly in the state for a separate component of the spacecraft, the choice of the method and criterion of clustering is made for further research and experimental work.

Objective. The process of designing a long-range aircraft, in particular at the preliminary design stage, involves comparing and analyzing a large number of design alternatives with specified performance criteria. At the same time, the problem of choosing the composition of rational design parameters is solved, which is an actual problem of the preliminary design stage of a long-range aircraft. Methods. The developed method allows determining the vector of parameters that provides rational characteristics for a given efficiency criterion. In this regard, the authors propose to introduce a global efficiency criterion - the takeoff weight of the long-range aircraft, and the specific criteria are the aerodynamic quality in cruise and the value of fuel efficiency. Results. In this formulation of the design problem, it is necessary to solve several interrelated problems, some of which are formalized, while others do not yet have a mathematical construct and software that allows automating the process. A distinctive feature of the proposed approach to finding a rational design solution is the use of statistical analysis methods in combination with methods of high-precision mathematical modeling, software-implemented in a single information environment using the Fortran V and C++ languages. Conclusion. The proposed method for selecting the composition of rational design parameters allows forming the appearance and providing the specified characteristics for its component elements at the early stages and stages of designing the long-range aircraft.

Introduction. Microdefects and zones with stress concentration in welded joints cause fatigue macrocracks. Such damage is potentially dangerous, especially if the fatigue life of the structure is almost exhausted. In this case, the crack size is close to the critical value, and it is crucial to determine its length. The paper considers the development of an engineering analytical model for assessing the critical crack length and endurance limit of welded joints with the formed grain in the structure of ferrite-pearlitic steels after welding. Materials and Methods. The theory and methods of fracture mechanics at the mesoscale are used. A simple analytical dependence is obtained, which provides determining the critical dimensions of a macrocrack for ferrite-pearlite steels without using the Griffiths formula. . The calculation results of the critical crack lengths of various steels depending on their yield strength are presented. An analytical dependence of the endurance limit calculation for the most dangerous symmetric loading cycle, according to the standard set of mechanical characteristics and the average grain diameter of ferrite-pearlite steel, is presented. Results. Structural deformation analysis of the crack propagation process has been performed. On its basis, an engineering technique for assessing the endurance limit is developed. A mathematical model that enables to calculate the endurance limit and the critical crack length in the components of welded assemblies of large-sized facilities, considering periodic loads of a symmetrical cycle, is developed. Using this model, it is possible to estimate the degree of metal sensitivity to the original characteristics (yield stress, Poisson's ratio, grain diameter, relative constriction, Young's modulus, power-law hardening coefficient, etc.). Discussion and Conclusion. Under stresses corresponding to the steel endurance limit, the critical crack opening rates of the tip and edges approach each other. Energetically, this moment approximately corresponds to the transition of the crack to an unstable state. The accumulation of one-sided plastic deformations causes the limiting state of plasticity of the region adjacent to the crack tip and its avalanche-like or sharply accelerated motion. This critical area is interrelated with the grain diameter of the material, the characteristic of critical plasticity and the critical opening at the crack tip at the fatigue limit. The proposed analytical dependences can be used to assess the residual life and the fatigue limit of welded structures, the influence of various factors on the fatigue limit of welded joints of ferrite-pearlitic steels used in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, pipeline transport, etc

Modern highly mechanized agricultural production is characterized by the incompatibility of simultaneous matching of the maximum pressure of agricultural mobile equipment movers on the soil and the possibility of increasing the tractors energy saturation when equipping them with existing wheel engines.(Research purpose)To coordinate the maximum pressure on the soil with the permissible norms, weight utilization factors and the level of tractors energy saturation.(Materials and methods)The authors used a calculated method for determining the maximum pressure on the soil using a universal tire characteristic.(Results and discussion)The authors found that when performing spring works on closing moisture and sowing row crops at a maximum pressure of 80 kilopascals, corresponding to all types of soil, the most mass universal row tractor Belarus 1020 had a maximum pressure of 150 kilopascals, which was 70 kilopascals higher than the permissible one for the corresponding crop shortage. They found that replacing ordinary tires with agrophilic tires could increase the area of the contact spot by 16 percent, while reducing the coefficient of unevenness and increasing the coefficient of use of the adhesion weight. The main condition for replacing ordinary tires with agrophilic tires was to keep the traction force unchanged.(Conclusions)Summarizing the results of the research as agrophilic direction, ensuring the compliance impacts on soil and positively solving the problems of saturation, it is possible to recommend the development of navigation systems in achieving utilization hitch weight equal to 0.5 (low tire pressure), equal to 0.6 (rubber joint with torsion bar suspension) and 0.7 (rubber track). It was found that the conducted research, taking into account the available data on traction tests of the T-250 tractor, would allow to include an agrophilic concept with a hypothetical dependence of the adhesion weight use factor on the longitudinal unevenness coefficient in the revised State Standard 27021-86 “Agricultural and forestry Tractors. Traction classes”.

A general model of the origin and evolution of chaotic wave processes in electrochemically active neuronal media based on the proposed method of matrix decomposition of operators of nonlinear systems has been developed. The mathematical models of Hodgkin – Huxley and FitzHugh – Nagumo of an electrochemically active neuronal media are considered. The necessary conditions for self-organization of chaotic self-oscillations in the FitzHugh – Nagumo model are determined. Computer modeling based on the matrix decomposition of chaotic wave processes in electrochemically active neuronal media has shown the interaction of higher-order nonlinear processes leading to stabilization (to a finite value) of the amplitude of the chaotic wave process. Mathematically, this is expressed in the synchronous “counteraction” of nonlinear processes of even and odd orders in the general vector-matrix model of an electrochemically active neuronal media being in a chaotic mode. It is noted that the state of hard self-excitation of nonlinear oscillations in an electrochemically active neuronal media leads to the appearance of a chaotic attractor in the state space. At the same time, the proposed vector-matrix model made it possible to find more general conditions for the appearance and evolution of chaotic wave processes in comparison with the initial Landau turbulence model and, as a result, to explain the occurrence of consistent nonlinear phenomena in an electrochemically active neuronal media.

At the present time at various stages of creation and development there are several projects of service spacecraft. One of the tasks of which is to service orbital objects as soon as possible. During the planning maintenance is needed to perform a large amount of calculations associated with the choice of a rational flight scheme. To reduce the amount of computation, an approach is needed that provides a search for the set of realized flight paths. One of such approaches is the method for determining the boundaries of the spatiotemporal reachability regions, which allows one to evaluate the a priori capabilities of service spacecraft for servicing orbital objects located in circular orbits. To construct spatiotemporal reachable regions, the mathematical apparatus of the hodograph theory is used, which allows, sequentially, based on the analytical solution of the optimization problem of a two-pulse flight, to determine the minimum and maximum duration of the spacecraft’s movement, which is understood as the time required for the flight from the point of maneuvering to the meeting point with the serviced an orbital object under the condition of the application of one velocity impulse. A graphical comparison of the trajectories of the serviced orbital objects and spatiotemporal reachable areas of the service spacecraft makes it possible to determine the potential for service, as well as the time intervals and phase angles at which such service is possible. The proposed methodological apparatus can be used to find a solution providing an initial approximation for the subsequent accurate calculation of the trajectory of motion by numerical methods, as constructing a control program for the spacecraft.

This article presents software tools designed for construction of heterogeneous models by software integration of logical models having their work methods set in the knowledge bases and engineering models created in a technical simulation environment. In order to build logical models we use our software «Software-and-mathematical model of the command-andmeasurement system’s onboard equipment». Engineering models are built in the graphical programming environment of the LabVIEW. The software functions are described for creation of graphical schemes of models, data structures and telemetry data packages design, creation of the command base and setting of the methods of the model’s elements work in the knowledge bases’ rules. We provide an example of a heterogeneous model simulating the logics of the spacecraft’s command-and-measurement system’s onboard equipment operation including the library of virtual devices for the receiving and transmitting path simulation and the knowledge base with the rules of the onboard system’s interaction during reception, transmission, execution and confirmation of commands. This example demonstrates the points of integration of logical simulators and virtual devices. The model allows to assess the parameters of the receiving and transmitting path and the influence of destabling factors on communication line’s quality, simulate generation and transformation of the signal coming from the source of information – ground segment – to the onboard equipment and simulate logical interaction of the systems if the necessary signal level is provided. Each element of the model can be transformed and processed by the subject area’s specialist depending on the specifics of the solved tasks.

The purpose of the article is to create a database of errors and to develop an algorithm for a situational decision-making model taking into account availability of potential errors of air traffic controllers and pilots. Air traffic controllers and pilots typical errors were compiled and analyzed, arrays of specialists errors were created, binary error relations based on methods of discrete mathematics were also compiled in this article. This decision is caused by the need to formalize the interaction of specialists, since each error of the air traffic controller can be compared with a certain set of pilot errors and vice versa. In case of further in-depth analysis, it is possible to expand the database by adding additional errors arrays of the adjacent point controller, aerodrome service, planning service, etc. The goal is formed after analyzing the features of simulator training in higher educational institutions. The peculiarity is the absence of hazardous factors during the simulator training. This training takes place according to the ideal model. Undoubtedly, this approach is aimed at developing the correct algorithm of actions in normal or abnormal flight conditions, but thus the trainee can’t work out the decision-making skills if there is an error in the ideal algorithm. At the same time, existing specialists face unintended errors every working day, so having experience in this field plays an important role in minimizing the impact of the human factor on flight safety. In our case, it is proposed to include such a dangerous factor as an unintentional error in the joint training program for air traffic controllers and pilots, which will improve the training quality of specialists.

In improving computer games, which reproduce a battle of tanks, two tasks can be distinguished: increasing a collection of game tools to represent virtual prototypes of real tank models and ensuring a realistic game. To solve these problems, a tool is necessary that allows us to compare gaming capabilities of virtual tank brands with combat capabilities of their real prototypes. A mathematical model of a computer game that reproduces a duel battle of tanks can be used as the tool. The specified model satisfies the following requirements: the sequence of operations reproduced in the model is in line with the sequence of operations implemented by the player in the course of the game; the maximum amount of ammunition that a tank can use in a model must correspond to the amount of tank ammunition. The duel lasts until one of the tanks is hit, or until all the gunshots available to hit the enemy are expended. It is necessary to find the probabilities of possible outcomes of a duel battle, the mathematical expectation of its duration, the mathematical expectation of the ammunition consumption of each side.The solution to the problem is obtained by constructing a mathematical model according to the scheme of Markov random process with discrete states and continuous time. It is implemented as a program for a model of a duel battle of tanks and can be used when developing a computer game of the genre of tank simulators to assess the gaming capabilities of the virtual tanks in a duel battle from the data on the amount of their ammunition and on the intensity of the game process transition from one state to another; for selecting the intensity values of the game process transition from one state to another, based on the data on the estimated game capabilities of virtual tanks in a duel battle. Thus, game participants can use this model to conduct their own research. Developers of computer games can use it for setting up the game and setting such intensity values of the game process transition from one state to another, at which the gaming capabilities of virtual tanks will correspond to the combat capabilities of their real prototypes on the battlefield.

A modern large-sized aircraft dynamic properties analysis, determined by the specificity of its layout scheme, demonstrates that the engines on under the wing elastic pylons lightly damped oscillations cause a number of undesirable phenomena, including intense accumulation of fatigue damage of the pylon-to-the-wing attachment, in fact in the area of engine installation in the pylon and the wing. The results of theoretical and experimental research show that with some engine attachment to the pylon structural modification it becomes possible to use the engines inertial and gyroscopic properties to absorb these oscillations. In this case, the motor tones damping coefficients increase by an order of magnitude or even more, so the gyroscopic coupling of elastic vibration tones is realized. With the rational choice of the additional parameters of elastic and dissipative bonds in the engine attachments it is possible to affect the aircraft wing and engines aero elastic vibrations effectively, which has a significant effect on the aircraft elements structural capabilities. A mathematical model of aero elasticity (MMAE) with respect to the kinetic moment of the engine rotors and specially designed units for attaching the engines to the pylons was developed in order to study the influence and the selection of rational elastic-dissipative parameters of the pylons-under-the-wing aircraft engine mounts. The method of predetermined basic forms is used for the aircraft with running engines on the pylons MMAE synthesis. The given forms are considered as the aircraft basic structure forms natural vibrations in the void. This work treats the engine nacelle and the rotor as absolutely rigid bodies, the elasticity of the rotor to the nacelle attachment is neglected. The pylon is modeled by an elastic beam, and the elastic and dissipative properties of the pylon-to-the-wing and the engine-to-the-pylon attachments are correspondingly by elastic-dissipative bonds. Schematic diagrams of the engine to the pylon attachments are proposed. The results of the study devoted to the influence of the proposed attachment points modifications on the load and integral strength characteristics of the main structural elements of the engine – pylon – wing dynamic system on the example of an An-124 aircraft are presented. The practical implementation of the proposed solutions aimed to reduce the level of fatigue damage to structural elements of the aircraft feasibility is proved.

Introduction. The world market of instant drinks is a highly competitive environment. New mechatronic production systems can help food companies maintain their competitiveness: they determine process modes, analyze them, and choose the optimal parameters, thus increasing the efficiency of the whole food enterprise. Another problem is the low biological and nutrient value of the finished product. New biologically active instant drinks could solve the problem that occurs in conditions of unsocial hours and unbalanced diet. Products of plant origin contain a lot of useful substances. Amaranth flour increases the biological value of the final products. The research objective was to develop mechatronic systems that could be used to produce instant drinks fortified with amaranth flour at the granulation stage. Study objects and methods. The present research featured a new line of production of instant granular drinks fortified with amaranth flour. The study focused on the granulation section. A drum vibro-granulator with controlled segregated flows was used to make a hardware design of the granulation process. The granulation process often demonstrates an unstable particle size distribution, which is associated with non-uniform mixing of the dry bulk components with the binder solution. A mechatronic module can solve this problem. However, it requires detailed information about the process conditions. Results and discussion. The research determined the specific energy consumption on the operating and design parameters for the granulation process in the new drum vibro-granulator. The experiment made it possible to obtain the optimal process parameters and improve the quality of the finished product. The flow rate of the binder solution depended on the readings of the power consumed by the kneading body engine, which stabilized the system. The value of this parameter is so small that its direct regulation is technically impossible. The paper introduces a block diagram of a multi-circuit cascade system to control the quality of the mixture automatically. The authors installed a valve on the pipeline that feeds the binder fluid in the pressure tank. The valve made it possible to control the process with sufficient accuracy. Conclusion. In the new mechatronic module of the drum vibro-granulator, the quality indicators of the resulting mix depend on the amount of power consumed by the kneading body engine and on the level of the binder solution in the pressure vessel.

The article presents the results of study to determine the component composition of rape-based biodiesel. Modeling of the optimal component composition taking into account low-temperature properties and cetane number was carried out. According to the studies, mathematical models of changes in the low-temperature properties of biodiesel fuel depending on the percentage of rapeseed oil were obtained, the optimal ratio of its components was determined and justified. The tests were conducted in 2012-2019. The studied temperature limits correspond to the extreme temperature values of the central and southern regions of the Russian Federation. The second important task was to determine the optimal ratio of diesel fuel and rapeseed oil while meeting the requirements of GOST R52368-05 for the cetane number of biodiesel fuel. Studies of the optimal percentage ratio of rapeseed oil and diesel fuel per cetane number showed that biodiesel, which contains rapeseed oil in a concentration of up to 30 %, meets the requirements of GOST R52368-05 (EN 590:2009). Certified equipment was used in the studies, and the methodology met the requirements of the state standard for their implementation. To solve the problem of determining the optimal ratio of biodiesel components, a methodology for assessing temperature and cetane number properties, as well as foreign scientific literature was analyzed in the field of research data. According to the results of the research, hypotheses were put forward that the lowtemperature properties and cetane number of biodiesel fuel change with an increase in the proportion of rapeseed oil in it, as well as the possibility of mathematical modeling of its optimal component composition corresponding to environmental temperature conditions during operation of the equipment. The reliability of the approximation of the obtained dependences was 0.83...0.91 when studying the low-temperature properties of biodiesel samples within the specified temperatures from -40 to 0 °C.

Introduction. A hardware basis of modern Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) consists of millimeterrange radars, characterized by a relatively short range (meters – tens of meters). At the same time, improving of traffic safety requires to increase the range at least to several hundred meters. The one way to achieve such values is to increase wavelength of a probing signal, to use the centimeter range of wavelengths, for example. The paper represents a detailed description of main steps of signal processing algorithm in the model of the ADAS low-power centimeter range radar, which provides fast-moving objects speed and range definition.Aim. Development of an algorithm for estimating the range and the speed of targets by an autocorrelation radar with a wide-band continuous linear frequency modulation (linear FM) signal in order to increase the rate of the ADAS system estimates formation.Materials and methods. The proposed algorithm is based on the methods of primary and secondary digital processing of radar signals. The model of a centimeter-range autocorrelation radar with a broadband continuous linear FM probing signal was used for practical researches. MATLAB software was used to process the received signal samples.Results. The algorithm has been developed to determine the speed and the range of fast-moving objects in conditions when their movement during the evaluation interval significantly exceeds the radar range resolution. The use of simplified Kalman filtering for inter-period secondary signal processing allowed to increase significantly the stability of the algorithm. In a full-scale experiment using the low-power radar model with continuous radiation of the centimeter range, it was shown that a stable assessment of a real car speed and range was provided at a distance of at least about one kilometer.Conclusion. The results of the field experiment make it possible to draw conclusions that the proposed algorithm is highly robust even in the absence of inter-period secondary processing. Its usage allows one to improve the stability of the algorithm without considerable additional computational costs. It is possible because near-linear dynamics of the observation object and of the radar carrier makes it sufficient to use a simplified implementation of Kalman filter in the form α-β-algorithm.

Aim. The purpose of the study is to determine the optimal location of supports used in the floor slab of an industrial building.Method. In order to determine the optimal arrangement of the columns, a Monte Carlo algorithm was used in combination with the finite element method. The calculation was carried out on the basis of the theory of elastic thin plates.Results. The article presents a solution to the problem of determining the optimal location of a given number of point-supports of a floor slab n from the condition of minimum objective function. For the objective function, the maximum deflection of the slab, the potential energy of deformation and the flow rate of reinforcement were selected as variables. The selection of reinforcement was carried out in accordance with current generally-accepted standards for the design of reinforced concrete structures. The calcu-lations were performed using a program developed by the authors in the MATLAB computing environment. The results are given for n = 3,4,5. The algorithm, which has been modified for a large num-ber of supports n, is presented alongside a comparison of the basic and modified algorithm with n = 25. The possibility of a significant reduction in plate deformations with an irregular arrangement of supports compared to a regular distribution is shown.Conclusion. A method is proposed for finding the rational locations of point supports for a floor slab for a given quantity from the condition of min-imum deflection, potential strain energy and consumption of reinforcement materials based on the Monte Carlo method. This technique is suitable for arbitrary slab configurations and arbitrary loads. A modification of the algorithm is presented that is suitable for a large number of supports. The test example shows that the maximum deflection can be reduced by 42% when using an irregular support configuration compared to regular column spacing. In the considered examples, the position of all the supports was previously considered unknown, but the developed algorithm easily allows for stationary supports, whose position does not change.

Introduction. The process of shifting gears under load is one of the most complex types of dynamic process in the transmissions of transport, road and construction vehicles. Currently, the existing calculation methods do not fully reflect the features of the engine and automated gearbox interaction by switching stages under load using more than two friction clutches at the same time. The paper discusses the method of calculating the dynamic characteristics of the gearbox with the simultaneous use of both two and four friction clutches by shifting gears under load with forward and reverse switching. The authors present the results of the dynamic characteristics of the theoretical study of the automated gearbox with frictional stages’ switching under load and without breaking the power flow.Materials and methods. The main method was based on a system approach to the dynamic processes study and on the modeling of the gearbox operation together with the internal combustion engine. The authors took into account the regulatory, speed and load engine characteristics, resistive torque variation, rate of pressure rise in clutches by shifting to higher and lower gears. The paper performed theoretical modeling of processes using the MATLab package and the Simulink application. Using the main blocks of this application, the authors created models of physical components: an internal combustion engine, friction clutches, gear reducers, elastic shafts, damping devices and tractor power transmission control systems.Results. As a result, the authors obtained calculated data of the dynamic processes, variations in speed and rotational torque on the gearbox shafts; the load on the engine by shifting gears at different values of the start and finish time in switching on and off the gearbox friction controls. The paper presented the relevant graphs of the processes.Discussion and conclusions. The developed method of calculating the dynamic characteristics of the gearbox allows simulating workflows by shifting to higher and lower gears. This method takes into account both the parameters of the gearbox design and of the control actions: the rate of switching on the friction clutches; the time intervals of overlapping the “on and off” clutches. Introduction.The problem of increasing the efficiency of power machines is important to develop a new design of the main elements or drive with the possibility of widespread use of hybrid drives. To preserve the power characteristics of the drive and its technical and operational indicators, the authors consider a hybrid with the available electric and hydraulic drive parts that form a complex synergistic mechanism as an alternative. The proposed combined tracking system with the specified parameters allows for the efficient operation of the drive of many machines.Materials and methods.The paper presented the results of an analytical study, the prospects for the development of mechatronic systems in engineering and technological complexes. The research also identified the industry area with a high development potential for mechatronic and hybrid drives. The authors formulated the problem of designing and developing hybrid drives due to the fact that there was no single method for substantiating the energy efficiency indicators of a power hybrid drive that ensured the interaction of two dissimilar systems (electric drive and hydraulic drive with fundamentally different parameters).Results. Therefore, the authors conducted the analysis of the structural, technological and operational parameters of the hybrid drive systems and proposed a combined servo drive system.Discussion and conclusions. At present, the daily and combat activities of almost any army in the world are largely determined by the quality of information and space support. At the same time, the quality of support depends largely on the stability of the functioning of such unique technical facilities as spacecraft flight control centers. Based on the features of building new and upgrading existing flight control centers, their susceptibility to destructive information influences has been established. In this regard, the only way to guarantee the recovery of the information management system after information and technical impact was determined, namely, the complete redeployment of automated workplaces, including the reinstalling of operating systems, general software and special software. To ensure the efficiency of recovery of the system under consideration, the need to automate the deployment of software for automated workstations of the spacecraft flight control center was justified. The results of the analysis of existing approaches to software deployment have shown the need for implementation directly disrespecting methods. Based on this, the complex software deployment process was formalized, and the structure of the automated software deployment system for automated workstations of the spacecraft flight control center was proposed, the use of which will ensure the necessary level of stability in the implementation of technological cycles of spacecraft control in particular, and the quality of information and space support for troops in General.

The purpose of the article is to describe the methodology and hardware for determining the force required for the movement of the plunger rod of a single-use syringe. The measurement method is used to obtain new experimental data. We first-ever obtained the oscillograms of force variation required to move the plunger rod of test syringes and found that, compared to a two-component, three-component syringe is characterized by significantly smaller values of the effort required for the plunger rod to move. So, when it moves without using water, the F value at the beginning of the suction stage is 1.5 times less than that of a two-component syringe and 2.4 times less at the extrusion stage. The use of water increases the force required to move the rod-piston of the test syringes. Thus, for a two-component syringe the force at the suction stage without using water was 4.5 N and 5.5 N – at the extrusion stage, and with the use of water, the values of these forces, respectively, increased to 6.5 and 6 N. For a three-component syringe without water, the plunger rod displacement force at the suction stage was 2.9 N and at the extrusion stage – 2.3 N, and with water the values of these forces increased to 3.7 and 2.9 N, respectively. The device developed makes it possible to conduct comprehensive studies of the effect of the type of syringe, its capacity, the speed of movement of the plunger rod, the duration of the stop between liquid suction and extrusion stages and other parameters on the amount of forces required to move the plunger rod of the syringe. This will allow you to justify the conditions and the normalized value of the force (or forces) required for the movement of the plunger rod when testing syringes by this indicator.

Many new thermal vacuum testing programs for ground testing of spacecraft require ensuring high accuracy temperature regime in a wide temperature range. Thermal vacuum tests are notable for significant material costs. Therefore, the requirement to reduce operating costs, including those associated with ensuring the temperature regime, is not less relevant. This explains the increased interest in promising energy-efficient technologies, one of which is based on the thermal conditioning of gaseous nitrogen. Systems with gaseous nitrogen thermal conditioning units have an optimal combination of operational and technical characteristics and, compared to systems where liquid nitrogen is poured into cryogenic screens, have lower consumption of liquid nitrogen and electrical energy, especially in stabilized temperature regime. The risk of contamination of the thermal vacuum chamber and the test object due to leaks of the liquid coolant is eliminated. Due to the fact that the properties of nitrogen quite accurately correspond to the ideal gas law, modeling of such systems is relatively simple, and the characteristics are predictable and stable. The article provides a brief analysis of the characteristics of gaseous nitrogen thermal conditioning units of two leading foreign manufacturers and the results of the practical application of four foreign manufactured thermal conditioning units with different characteristics in a typical thermal vacuum chamber. We considered the main directions of improving the characteristics of thermal conditioning units by foreign manufacturers. The conclusion is made about the high efficiency and economic feasibility of gaseous nitrogen thermal conditioning technology in most cases of thermal vacuum testing.

Practical space activities of the country in near-Earth space and in deep space have been developing for more than fifty years. During this time, many new scientific and technical problems were solved, the latest technologies were developed and mastered. This article describes the prerequisites for conducting an experiment on growing semiconductor structures for highly efficient solar cells in the conditions of orbital flight of an international space station. The advantages of carrying out the process in a deep vacuum formed as a result of the manifestation of the molecular screen effect are shown to obtain new thin-film materials with unique properties. A ground-based simulator of a space module and a working molecular screen prototype are described. The features of the preliminary design of a universal automated installation of molecular beam epitaxy in space are discussed. The rationale for the economic efficiency of space technology based on the absence of the need for expensive ultrahigh vacuum pumping facilities, cryogenic equipment and vacuum volumes containing a large amount of stainless steel is given. The experience of three orbital flights of the American Shuttle spacecraft is analyzed, confirming the economic feasibility of projects related to the production of semiconductor heterostructures in space flight conditions.

To organize an efficient transport structure, modern road telecommunication systems provide information collection about the vehicle connected to the system and analyze it. The modern car in such a system is considered to be connected. Such information systems can collect information about the vehicle. This information includes its driving parameters, location, and the parameters of the vehicle systems state. After processing and analyzing this information, it is possible to form recommendations and control actions. These recommendations are used by the driver or an automated vehicle control system. This article describes the general principle of the operation of modern transport telecommunication systems. The car-to-car type of interaction protocols are highlighted in this system. Wireless communication technologies that allow this interaction to be implemented are described. One of the principles was developed, according to which the system can determine the optimal use of the vehicle resource and the aggressiveness of the driving style of a freight vehicle on the basis of an automated algorithm for issuing recommendations for driver actions. This principle is considered as exemplified by a series of load characteristics of a diesel engine. The principle of choosing the optimal series of recommendations to a group of drivers to optimize the movement of traffic through the car-tocar interaction has been formulated.
