This contribution analyses the earthquakes that occurred in Ecuador between the devastating ones of 1698 and 1797. Thus, the cases of 1755, 1757, 1778, 1786, and 1787 are dealt with. Through the use of official documentation and printed sources, we attempt to understand the management of the disaster by the Bourbon authorities during the second half of the century, as well as the post-disaster dissemination in reports of events, the press, pastoral letters, sermons, historical-geographical dictionaries, and history books. We are introducing an analysis of the micro and macroeconomic factors associated with the textile industrial decline in the canton of La Maná. Ecuador, unlike similar studies, based on the decline of important industries, we tried to explain the negative factors to execute the Development and Territorial Planning Plan, which aspired for the takeoff of an industry that barely reached 2% participation. We analyzed not considered factors in planning, according to the new data. In the internal component, we particularly observed a management system based on traditional paradigms that did not foster innovation. We concluded about the importance of incorporating into public planning social and cultural programs that promote entrepreneurship, flexibility and the management of social change. El Real Decreto 110/2015, de 20 de febrero, sobre residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos, incorporó como novedad la creación de la plataforma electrónica de gestión de RAEE y la oficina de asignación de recogidas de RAEE, que son instrumentos de control en materia de gestión de RAEE (gestión que abarca tanto la recogida como los tratamientos posteriores) e instrumentos de apoyo del grupo de trabajo de RAEE de la Comisión de coordinación en materia de residuos, tal y como se recoge en los artículos 55 y 56 del citado real decreto. En primer lugar, la plataforma electrónica de gestión de RAEE permitirá conocer la cantidad y la situación de todos los RAEE constituyendo una base de datos sobre recogida y tratamiento de estos residuos. En particular, garantizará la trazabilidad de los RAEE y posibilitará la consulta de datos de RAEE en función del perfil del operador de que se trate. Otra de sus funciones será facilitar la información sobre el cálculo de los RAEE gestionados dentro del territorio del Estado, así como los trasladados para su gestión a la Unión Europea y a terceros países. La información que contiene es la fuente con la que, por un lado, se evaluará el grado de cumplimiento de los objetivos en materia de RAEE y, por otro, se elaborarán las estadísticas e informes relativos a la gestión de este flujo de residuos. Además, es el medio a través del cual los gestores cumplen con sus obligaciones de información tales como el archivo cronológico y la memoria anual, de acuerdo con los artículos 64 y 65 de la Ley 7/2022, de 8 de abril. Así mismo, contiene la información que, en materia de residuos, han de aportar los productores de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos a las Administraciones Públicas, en cumplimiento de sus obligaciones derivadas de la responsabilidad ampliada del productor. Con la puesta en funcionamiento de la plataforma electrónica se pretende que los operadores incorporen datos a lo largo de todo el ciclo de gestión del RAEE. En lo que respecta a su funcionamiento, la plataforma se estructura en un portal interno y en otro externo, siendo el interno únicamente de consulta y el externo permite, además, la grabación de datos sobre los RAEE. Además, se precisa con exactitud la forma de identificación de los distintos tipos de RAEE y se asegura su trazabilidad con medidas concretas. En otro orden, la implantación de la plataforma electrónica como de otras medidas ligadas a ésta se va a hacer de una manera gradual en dos etapas, que se definen en las disposiciones transitorias, así como en la disposición final segunda. En segundo lugar, el objetivo de la oficina de asignación de recogidas de RAEE es garantizar que todos los RAEE recogidos en el territorio del Estado, bajo la responsabilidad ampliada del productor, reciban un tratamiento adecuado. La oficina asignará a los sistemas de responsabilidad ampliada del productor la organización de las recogidas de RAEE. Esta asignación se ha de realizar de manera que se respete la cuota de mercado de los productores que forman cada sistema de responsabilidad ampliada del productor. El ámbito en el que opera la oficina de asignación se circunscribe a los RAEE recogidos en las instalaciones de recogida municipal y en los distribuidores, así como a los RAEE generados por productores profesionales de RAEE, cuando la gestión sea financiada por los sistemas de responsabilidad ampliada. Por último, según establece el capítulo IV, la correcta conexión entre la plataforma electrónica y la oficina de asignación se asegurará mediante mecanismos informáticos que permitan la transmisión de información entre ambos. La incorporación de los diferentes operadores de la plataforma electrónica conlleva también la obligatoriedad del etiquetado de los RAEE. No obstante, la obligación de etiquetar individualmente los RAEE se realizará progresivamente, dependiendo de la fracción de recogida a la que pertenezca el RAEE, según el anexo VIII del Real Decreto 110/2015, de 20 de febrero. In the area of business management, a set of tools are harmonized in terms of the integral management of the economic, social and environmental dimensions that support Corporate Social Responsibility and allow for an evaluation of the company in terms of the fulfillment of its objectives in an integral manner. As part of the process of updating the Cuban economic and social development model, this topic acquires special importance due to its impact on local development with emphasis on the social and environmental aspects. The objective of this research is to design a procedure for the management of social responsibility in the Minas Tobacco Collection and Processing Company, Pinar del Río, valid for other similar companies. The dialectical-materialist method was used, which according to its contributions allowed discovering the dialectic of the development of the process to be studied. Empirical methods were used to obtain primary and secondary information. Surveys and interviews were conducted with workers and managers of the company, their families and other local actors. A diagnosis was made of the current state of the social responsibility management process in the company, where a series of limitations were found, which refer as a central element to the lack of a methodological tool oriented to improve the decision-making scheme, linked to the social actions of the entity. The main subsystems of the corporate social responsibility program are presented, as well as the social actions that have been implemented as part of the municipal development strategy. At present, it is increasingly necessary to process accounting information with greater speed, quality, reliability of the information and proper functioning of the system, guaranteeing correct decision making to achieve the fulfillment of the goals and objectives set in each entity. The characterization of the entity allowed to verify the organizational deficiencies presented with the accounting information that hinder the aspects related to the informative problems, the organization of the management processes and the realization of activities that have an impact on the decision-making process. The objective of this article is: to show a procedure for the management of accounting information, based on the Cascade Methodology. The proposed procedure is structured in five stages, and its implementation contributed to the improvement of the different processes and sub-processes of each subsystem in correspondence with the updating of the economic model, improving the decision-making process. In the complex context in which Cuba's tourism activity is developing, it is necessary to adjust the sector's management to international trends in order to increase the country's competitiveness as a destination. In recent years, it has been pointed out that there is a lack, at the country level, of studies linked to the strategic and integrated planning of the sector. In this scenario, and as part of the project: Development and Competitiveness of the Cuban tourist product, the present research is developed with the objective of designing strategic guidelines for the management of Cuban tourist destinations. In the same, a previous stage linked to the theoretical-conceptual study and the description of the elements linked to tourism in the destination was developed. Subsequently, three stages were developed using methods and techniques such as bibliographic analysis, surveys to experts and discussion groups. This made it possible to present the situational analysis of Cuba in terms of the management of its destinations, future perspectives, good practices of two of the countries that constitute direct competition, as well as to formulate a total of five strategic objectives and 30 guidelines to be taken into account for the design of strategies. The research was carried out in the municipality of Alquízar in the Artemisa province, Cuba with the participation of municipal actors linked to the management of local development projects, members of the Municipal Commission of Sovereignty and Food Security, the management and advice of the University Center Municipal. The objective is to design a strategy that contributes, from the management of local development projects, to food sovereignty and food and nutritional security in the municipality of Alquízar. The theoretical and methodological references of the object were defined, as well as the current state of project management in the territory was diagnosed, revealing gaps related to the preparation of actors for the management of development in the area of food production that prevent efficient execution of the process, carrying out the empirical diagnosis of the research corroborated the problem defined through the triangulation of the results obtained from primary and secondary sources of information. The components of the strategy for the design of local development projects were defined as established in Decree 33/2021. The proposal is distinguished by its social focus and the conception of current Cuban economic and social development, it is structured in four stages and responds to the particularities of the territory. The strategy is pertinent, the user consultation method applied to validate the proposal yielded a Group Satisfaction Index of 0.9, expressing an index of maximum satisfaction of the actors responsible for the availability of food. The use of artificial intelligence in higher education holds significant potential for strengthening and enhancing institutional and academic processes. These processes include informed decision-making, research, and the learning experience of the academic community, comprising students, faculty, administrative staff, and others. Artificial intelligence can assist universities in identifying potential strategies based on information and trends, contribute to enrollment processes, and help reduce student dropout rates. It aids in identifying risk factors affecting students, allowing for the provision of specialized support measures. Additionally, contributes to the formulation of personalized and differentiated academic plans, enhances learning and teaching management, among other benefits. However, it is important to consider that a high percentage of students in Latin America come from low-income households and have limited access to technology. This limitation may impact their ability to leverage the advantages of artificial intelligence. Therefore, understanding its structure, factors, and effects is essential given its impact and trends in applied usage. A comprehensive implementation of intelligent automation in education is needed, considering these inequalities and challenges. The use of the quality management model is of great importance for health service providers, which should be based on strategic planning, continuous improvement of the quality management system and the set of international norms and standards that interrelate with each other to achieve the quality that a company should have to meet the requirements agreed with its clients. Operational management constitutes an effective method for the execution of business processes, using the necessary means to obtain goods and services. Business process management as part of this type of management considers market variables closely related to design and implementation of strategies. This activity carried out by companies oriented to the commercialization of mass consumption products constitutes the end of the supply chain. In the bibliography consulted, it is evident that there are several studies that provide, from different perspectives, solutions that contribute to promoting the development of organizations and customer satisfaction. On a previous work was explained the structure and in the present one is treated the management. Management in maintenance has to be considered as an integral concept of the total control of the quality and it includes all the life's cycle of the assets. This research explored the management to prevent occupational risks in the agricultural sector, in search of practices that guarantee corporate social responsibility, including environmental and social impact, with the objective of consolidating the importance of preventing occupational accidents, highlighting the relevance of incorporating socially responsible practices. A mixed method was used, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, to obtain a comprehensive view of the factors affecting occupational safety and wellbeing. The results obtained reveal the significance of continuously implementing measures through employee protection programs. In detail, the findings show the lack of training and work incidents and less commitment to sustainability. Intrapreneurship, as an axis of innovative value in organizations, takes on relevance in the research agendas, posing the challenge of creating in the organization an ecosystem that allows exploitation in a sustained, effective and coherent manner with business objectives. Based on review of the theoretical construct and studies of big corporations such as Lenovo, Google and Nestlé, the Intrapreneurship is analyzed, as an innovative strategic process, from three dimensions: the intrapreneur, the organization and the intrapreneurial activity. And expose a consideration about the approach of the business management to exploit the internal entrepreneurship to promote effectiveness and growth. This paper shows that Intrapreneurship entails a process of transformation and rupture of paradigms involving an exploratory, eclectic, situational and heterodox approach to management, the use of knowledge and the construction of value, in conjunction with exhaustive planning and application of mechanisms of control. The development of projects to promote agricultural activity is of great importance today, as it responds to national priorities. To this end, it is necessary to diversify and make financial products more efficient in order to cover the investment and working capital needs of such projects. However, even when there are funds for the promotion of agricultural activity, there are limitations in their management, which limits the implementation of development project ideas in the state and nonstate sectors. In view of this problem, the main objective of this article is to design a procedure for the management of the Agricultural Development Bank that will contribute to the implementation of projects associated with agricultural production. The main research method used was the inductiondeduction, which is applied for the design of the proposed procedure and the formulation of actions to facilitate its implementation. The proposed procedure represents a support tool in the management of the Agricultural Development Fund from the financial institutions at the municipal level and has a set of suggestions that will facilitate its application, which are variable according to the criteria of the actors who implement it. The aim of this article is to examine the unique characteristics of conflict management in the workplace, within the framework of social dialogue. Through a review of specialized literature, the necessary competencies for workplace mediators to facilitate quality conflict management are analyzed. Additionally, various techniques required for effective mediation are explored. It is concluded that, beyond the specific utility of each technique, the timing of their application is paramount. Moreover, the professionalization of mediators is deemed essential, as they should possess skills such as empathy, active listening, self-control, compassion, creative thinking, assertive language, and critical reasoning, alongside resilience and self-care. In the current context, despite the pandemic, different activities continue to be carried out in the public sphere, regardless of not knowing exactly when it would end and what its consequences would be. In particular, in the higher education sector, in which the institutional management of the public university is not adequate, the inefficiency of internal governance and social relevance do not comply with social responsibility, having a negative impact on both the students as well as in society. The objective was to analyze the elements of internal university governance and the social relevance of a national university in Lima, Peru in 2020. The methodology was the qualitative method, of an exploratory and interpretive nature and hermeneutical design. The techniques used were open, semistructured interviews, analysis of specialized bibliography and validation of the questions by expert judgment. The results established that Peruvian public universities have an improper organizational system. Those who hold power do not take into account the values and principles, circumstances that prevent university social relevance and, therefore, irresponsibility towards society is established; except, very few exceptions. The conclusion determined that it is necessary, as a priority, to manage personal and institutional change at the management level and to carry out feasibility studies developed for our context, with the purpose of building a convenient paradigm for higher education in our country where responsibility social university (RUS), covers the population as the primary objective of university work with the aim of generating public value in society. Accounting education within organizations is essential for proper management of the accounting systems that they manage, accounting is important because it is considered an essential tool for companies in continuous growth. The objective of this research is based on analyzing the teaching of accounting systems in private companies that apply social responsibility. The methodology in this research is based on a documentary-type bibliographic design through a systematic review of scientific articles indexed in databases with verifiable rigor. In conclusion, it is mentioned that the relevance of teaching not only in institutions but also at the business level is essential to have trained and knowledgeable people in the work groups of each aspect related to the activities of the organizations. Nowadays CSR is part of most companies regardless of their size, and therefore the proper management of the information related to it is necessary and even more so the accounting information that is managed by systems that require training and extensive knowledge of each of the aspects covered by these software making life simpler within the organization. The high rate of morbidity and mortality caused by COVID-19 caused governments to manage the supply of personal protective equipment with the purpose of protecting health workers from contagion, mainly health personnel who directly care for infected patients. However, the policy is not consistent between and its implementation. The objective of the research carried out was to determine the State's management and supply of protective equipment to health personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research is with a quantitative, design approach; non-experimental cross-sectional, descriptive correlational. The survey technique was used with an online questionnaire. The result is that the State's management is deficient with respect to the supply of personal protective equipment, in addition to being inadequate in 40.7%, highlighting the 15.7% low level, followed by the 14.4% level very low in the general supply level. The conclusion is that management, expressed in a high positive correlation with the supply of Management, expressed in a high positive improvement with the supply of protective equipment (with a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.01), shows an evolution based more on policy management than design, so that, at increasing situational management actions, supply progressively increased.
