The concept of decision making is the process of choosing one of the available alternatives to achieve the goals and objectives. The problems that are frequently encountered today and that require evaluation of many criteria together are selection problems. Multi-criteria decision-making techniques offer suitable solutions to these selection problems. In this study, CRITIC integrated TOPSIS Method was used to determine which University Hospitals in Türkiye are closest to the ideal. In order to select the most suitable University Hospital in study, the most ideal solution was tried to be determined by considering 13 (thirteen) criteria. The criteria used in the study were first weighted with the CRITIC method, and then these weight values were used when ranking the University Hospitals with the TOPSIS method. Thus, it was aimed to determine the University Hospitals closest to the ideal by weighting the criteria. The intended meaning is for hospitals to be ranked at the top according to the assigned criterion weights. As a result of the study, the most ideal University Hospital was U18 (Erciyes University). Then, the University Hospitals are listed as U17 (Ege University Hospital) and U19 (Hacettepe University Hospital), respectively. There is no common consensus on what the concept of palliative care is and which types of disease it covers. The view on the concept of palliative care refers to all diseases that threaten the life of the individual today, while individuals whose deaths are generally considered and who are described as cancer patients are depicted. The fair and equal access of individuals to the services offered within the framework of palliative care is also related to the quality of service purchase, the existence and quality of the units that offer palliative care. For this reason, the Ministry of Health aims to establish palliative care centers, assign the required personnel and establish the hardware standard in all health institutions. In the study, secondary data were used to evaluate the current status in terms of the number of units, the number of beds and the occupancy rate in the hospitals of the Ministry of Health in Kayseri province. Kayseri province has been chosen due to the fact that it is in a very good position in terms of the number of beds in institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Health and the presence of hospitals with complex structures such as city hospitals. As a result of the study, it was determined that the number of beds allocated for palliative care service (48) and the rate of patients benefiting from the service was low (18%). This may be due to the fact that patients prefer different provinces for palliative care services or that patients may be offered services in other outpatient clinic services instead of palliative care units. In this study, the factors affecting the effectiveness of nursing services management in hospitals, the functioning of management functions, nursing services effectiveness aimed to reveal. The data of this descriptive study was collected from 526 volunteer nurses working in a public university hospital, a private and a training and research hospital in Istanbul with the Personal Information Form and the Nursing Services Management Effectiveness Scale. In the evaluation of the data; number, percentage, mean and standard deviation, t test, ANOVA and Tukey HSD tests. The subscale mean scores of the nurses participating in the study were found as follows; general management policies=3.12±,87, unity of purpose=3.10±,76, delegation of authority=3.53± ,68, hierarchy=2.98±,82, reporting=3.37±,93. In the comparison with the sub-dimensions of the scale, significant differences were found between all sub-dimension in all variables. Among these, comparison of workplace and scale sub-dimension means, the highest level of nursing service management efficiency in hospitals was ranked as Private Hospital, then Public University Hospital and Education and Research Hospital. In order to make the organizations successful, it is recommended that the managers contribute to increasing the effectiveness of nursing service management by eliminating the deficiencies in the management practices.
