In this article, it explains the content and method of Ibn al-Jazari's (d. 833/1429) study on the science of tajweed, it became famous with names such as "Mukaddimetü'l-Cezerî", "Manzûmetü'l-Cezerî" and "Mukaddime", it is small in volume but has a wide content in terms of the subjects it covers, since it was written it has gained a great reputation and it is among the main sources of recitation education. The study, which has many manuscript copies in libraries, has been examined and published and many annotations have been written on it by recitation scholars. It has been memorized by many Qur'an students with all the rules of the science of Tajvid and being written in verse so that it is easy to remember. In general terms, the definition of the science of tajweed; origin and adjectives of letters; foundation and ibtida; In the mushaf (Qur'an), the places written as maktû'/separate and mawsûl/adjoining and the places written as open ta (ة) instead of closed ta (ت) although expressing the meaning of feminine/feminine, etc all this matters are mentioned in this study, the subjects included in Mukaddimetü'l-Cezerî were classified and the scholars and studies on which the author based his views while explaining the subjects were tried to be determined. In addition, by giving information about the method that Ibn al-Jazari followed while explaining the subjects, the place of the study in the science of tajweed was tried to be revealed and explained. Examining the Ottoman tafsir legacy is important for the recognizing and promoting the scientific culture of the past. In this regard, the subject of this review is the extended version of Mustafa Oztürk's article titled "A Panoramic View of the Ottoman Tafsir Tradition". In this book, it is criticized that the Ottoman period is not adequately addressed in the history of tafsir and the understanding that commentary and annotation were dominant in this period. While presenting Ottoman tafsir studies between the 14th and 19th centuries, they are classified as classical and modern periods. The book, which draws attention with its periodical features and evaluations, mentions many works that can be the subject of research on Ottoman tafsir literature. Annotation has a key role in transferring an information. Accentuation on writing as most important way in information and transferring information in Islam's main texts provided that Arabic annotation culture got the new phases at a primitive level. So the annotations revealed in the various Koran-based fields in the early periods. The main differences which discriminate these annotation works from each other became clear in time. The field of syntax became systematized as a result of socio-cultural and socio-political actions in the early periods and it reached to "accomplishment". Therefore, some categories which are amenable to certain wording styles occurred in syntactic annotations. The works in type of "text" that information related to the field of syntax is briefly transferred are the main of these categories. The works which are named as "sharh" consist in the second category in explanatory quality on the texts as a result of purpose to remove the closeness in such kind of works and the conception of "accomplishment" in the field of syntax. The traditional annotation wording way such as clarification, quotation and sampling was adopted in type of sharh annotation and aimed to involve the whole of text. Those, who conducted the educational activities in madrasahs, pioneered that an annotation way which is mentioned as "hashiya" appeared on the third category as they or their students noted while teaching sharhs or making preliminary preparations. The annotation way which became a tradition in time became an annotation method with the certain standards that only necessary parts of sharhs are taught. The long prologues, the syntactic comments adorned with logical and philosophic facts, the detailed i'râb changing analyses and the discussions conducted with presumptive questions come at the beginning of these standards. As the annotations are mostly in currency of madrasahs so those in this place increased their tendency to the annotation of hashiya. So Fakhraddin al-Arnasi (d.1392/1972) who was one of the madrasah scholars in last period accommodated the hashiya in name of Khesfu'l-Gita in that scope. In this context, the general terms of annotation copyright tradition were made, and their expressions on the work were emphasized. In this study, the annotation (hāshiya) of Koca Mehmed Rāgib Pasha (d.1698/99- 1763) to Baydāwī’s tafsīr book called Anwāru’t-tanzîl wa Asrāru’t -ta’wīl is analyzed. Vasıf Efendi -who was a chronicler in his time- defined Koca Mehmed Rāgib Pasha -who was literary scholarly talented and the famous statesman- as “İnsan-ı kâmil denilmeye sezâ, sadru’l-vüzerâ elkabına revâ.” For this purpose, initially, the life of the annotator (muhashshi) is mentioned generally. And then information about style and genre of the annotation which is a written work is given. Also in this study the book is evaluated in terms of method and content. Within this scope, how riwāyat and dirāyat methods were used in this annotation is tried to be detected with concrete examples. The annotation’s approaches to the reasons of the revelation (asbab al-nuzûl), the attitude about isrāiliyyāt, the statements about İ’cāzu’l-Qur’ān, the explanations on qiraāt, the explications related to sarf and nahw are handled. The fıqhī and kalāmī explanations which Koca Rāgib Pasha made are mentioned too. The used references in the annotation are given. In this article, the answers to the questions as how important the annotation culture is in the Ottoman, how they contributed to this field and whether Koca Rāgib Pasha who is cited in the literary and historical works often is successful as far as in the Islamic Sciences are searched. Thousands of works have been written up and still being written for centuries about the thoughts, works and life of Mevlana Celâleddîn-i Rûmî, which has an important place in terms of Turkish culture and literature. Especially studied in classical Turkish literature and the copyrighted works and translations and annotations about Mathnawi, which has been associated with Mevlana for about eight centuries, are still seen today. In this study Tercemânu'l-Ma'nevî fî-Tercemeti'l-Mesnevîi translation which is the vernacular translation of Mehmed Şâkir Efendi, who translated the Mathnawi which is intended to be understood and told since the day it was written in terms of religious, mystical, moral, literary and scientific knowledge, into a complete translation after Nahîfî and died in 1836, are examined, the information about the copies was given and the place of the translator in our literature was explained. Hadji Bayrâm Veli has been one of the most extra-ordinary personalities that lived in Anatolia. His poetry and the wisdom, insight and culture of the students that he taught exceeded beyond Anatolia. Lots of annotations were written on his poems. In his four known poems, it can be seen that he stated what he had during his lower soul cleaning and hearth purity, flicking his hearth with divine love with symbolic expressions, which are the general characteristics of sufistic language. One of the well-known writers in 16th century was also Lâmi'î Çelebi. Although his birth date has not been certain, it is believed to be around 877/1472. Lâmi'î Çalebi had lived in the last years of Fatih Sultan Mehmet (1451-1481), and in the era of II. Beyazid (1481- 1512), Yavuz Sultan Selim (1512-1520) and Kanunî Sultan Süleyman (1520-1566), as well. It is known that Lami'î had a fine family education. Lami had done a significant amount of translation in Persian literature; moreover he had been famous with his proses. Lami'î Çelebî had also been called Camî-i Rûm since he had translated most of the Molla Camî's (ö.897/1492) works and had passed away in Bursa in 938/1532. There has been 45 known works of Lâmi'î who had a fairly prolific life. One of them is Serh-i Dibace-i Gülistan by annotating the preface of Sa'dî-i Sirazî's work called Gülistan and completed it in 910/1504. Suyûtî has indicated in his annotation on Baydawi's Qur'anic commentary to some ideas that exist in this commentary which belong to the Mu'tazilah. His student Shâmî has collected these different and criticized ideas in a booklet. An Ottoman scholar, Hocazâdah Muhammad Wacîh has written an another booklet about these ideas that are in this booklet. Zabîdî has written an onother booklet to take consideration these ideas which exist this booklet.
