The Vancouver Obsessional Compulsive Inventory–Mental Contamination scale (VOCI-MC) and the Contamination Thought–Action Fusion scale (CTAF) are two self-report instruments that assess symptoms of mental contamination and fusion between thoughts, and feelings and behaviours associated with contamination, respectively. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the French version of these two scales in non-clinical and clinical samples. We included 79 participants diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), 31 diagnosed with anxiety disorders, who were recruited from the University Department of Adult Psychiatry in Montpellier, and 320 non-clinical participants recruited from the general population. Psychometric properties of the French VOCI-MC and CTAF were investigated. Results showed that the French versions of the VOCI-MC and the CTAF had high internal consistency, good convergent and divergent validity, as well as good temporal stability. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses showed a one-factor structure for the two scales in both non-clinical and OCD samples. Adequate discriminative validity was established by comparing OCD patients with contamination-related symptoms and OCD patients who did not report contamination-related symptoms. The French VOCI-MC and CTAF are valid and appropriate tools for measuring mental contamination in both clinical and research contexts.

Self-compassion (SC) seems to play an important role in improving Emotion Regulation (ER). Nevertheless, the results of previous studies regarding the links between SC and ER are not consistent, especially facing diverse models of ER (strategy-based vs skill-based). The goal of this prospective study was to evaluate the links between these three concepts, by testing the predictive roles of SC and ER skills on both ER adaptive and maladaptive strategies, using standardised questionnaires and visual analogue scales. Results of regression analysis showed that self-compassion positively predicts cognitive reappraisal, acceptance, problem-solving, relaxation, self-support, tolerance and ER skills and negatively predicts behavioural avoidance, expressive suppression and ruminations. Results also showed that ER skills positively predict cognitive reappraisal, expression, acceptance, relaxation, self-support and tolerance and negatively predicts behavioural avoidance, expressive suppression and ruminations.. Results from a mediation model are also promising regarding both the role of ER skills on the effect of SC on adaptive ER strategy use. Even if this study can be associated with common limits of self-report measures, it highlights the role of SC in a model of ER.

Emotion regulation flexibility has been conceptualized as a multi-componential construct involving context sensitivity, repertoire and feedback responsiveness. Psychosis research has yet to incorporate these new developments in the study of emotion regulation. Thus, we sought to advance even further the knowledge on emotion regulation in psychosis by adopting the emotion regulation flexibility approach as proposed by Bonanno and Burton (Perspectives on Psychological Science, 2013, 8, 591).In total, 401 participants completed 4 scales assessing the multi-components of emotion regulation flexibility and psychosis-proneness.Our results indicated that Context Sensitivity (i.e., Cue Absence) and Feedback Responsiveness (i.e., Evaluation) were associated with psychosis-proneness. Cue absence was specifically associated with the positive dimension, while both Cue Absence and Enhancement ability were associated with the negative dimension.Overall, our results suggest that emotional context insensitivity is the most relevant component of regulatory flexibility in the case of psychosis-proneness. Thus, the disruption in this first step of flexible emotion regulation might be already present in those prone to psychosis. Difficulties in decoding appropriately the contextual cues might further disrupt the other steps of emotion regulation contributing to the psychotic (-like) experiences. This study needs replication in clinical and non-clinical samples.

Dzi Croquettes: roupas da moda, trajes em cena tem como tema central as peças de roupa usadas pelos dançarinos e atores do grupo Dzi Croquettes, da década de 1970 no Brasil, a fim de criar a atmosfera que provocou a discussão de gênero por meio da fusão do vestuário feminino com o masculino, na qual mesclou-se tecidos delicados com pelos e barbas. Os conceitos de figurino e roupa foram revisitados para demonstrar como o grupo utilizou peças do cotidiano ou da moda vigente para a construção do seu figurino. Segundo Fausto Viana (2017) e Rita Bustamante (2008), o figurino são vestimentas específicas para a representação no palco, que criam personagens e um texto por meio da estética. Essa tese está em consonância com o pensamento da semióloga Lucia Santaella (2004; 2008) e do pesquisador de moda Carlos Gardin (2008), que concebem que a roupa cotidiana, ou uma peça extraída da moda, também apresenta uma linguagem não verbal, traduzindo uma ideia para quem a veste e para quem a visualiza, aproximando o figurino do vestuário. Seguindo esse princípio, neste artigo, os conceitos de roupa e de figurino serão utilizados como sinônimos para analisar o vestuário dos integrantes do Dzi Croquettes.

Este artigo visa realizar uma pesquisa sobre desconsideração do instituto da prescrição da pretensão punitiva estatal pela Corte Interamericana de Direitos Humanos no Caso Bulacio vs. Argentina. A problemática abordada diz respeito a se a Corte desrespeitou garantias fundamentais de limitação do poder punitivo ou se agiu de acordo com preceitos que podem ser considerados garantistas de forma abrangente quando analisados sob ponto de vista do contexto regional e internacional de proteção dos Direitos Humanos. Como referencial teórico, tem-se como base principalmente as obras de Luigi Ferrajoli (2002, 2011a, 2016), Flavia Piovesan (2019) e Antônio Augusto Cançado Trindade (2003, 2005/2006). Por fim, conclui que a Corte Interamericana de Direitos Humanos decidiu de acordo com os valores e normas consagradas e positivadas pelo direito regional e internacional, agindo corretamente sob uma perspectiva de garantismo substancial de adequação das normas de direito interno ao ordenamento jurídico internacional ratificado pelos Estados.

In state-of-the-art stellarators, turbulence is a major cause of the degradation of plasma confinement. To maximize confinement, which eventually determines the amount of nuclear fusion reactions, turbulent transport needs to be reduced. Here we report the observation of a confinement regime in a stellarator plasma that is characterized by increased confinement and reduced turbulent fluctuations. The transition to this regime is driven by the injection of submillimetric boron powder grains into the plasma. With the line-averaged electron density being kept constant, we observe a substantial increase of stored energy and electron and ion temperatures. At the same time, the amplitude of the plasma turbulent fluctuations is halved. While lower frequency fluctuations are damped, higher frequency modes in the range between 100 and 200 kHz are excited. We have observed this regime for different heating schemes, namely with both electron and ion cyclotron resonant radio frequencies and neutral beams, for both directions of the magnetic field and both hydrogen and deuterium plasmas.

Flashbulb memories are autobiographical memories for important and emotional events, which have the particularity of being at the intersection of personal and public events. Autobiographical memory impairments are highly prevalent in schizophrenia, a psychiatric condition intrinsically linked to self-disorders. Thus, we aimed to evaluate flashbulb and event memory functioning in individuals with schizophrenia. Twenty-four individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia and 25 control participants were tested on a flashbulb memory questionnaire about the July 14th, 2016, Nice (France) terrorist attack, including questions on flashbulb and event memory, certainty, vividness, rehearsal, emotion, novelty, consequentiality, implication, and importance. Participants also underwent cognitive assessments. Analysis showed lower scores for both flashbulb and event memories in patients compared to control participants. Subjective ratings of the phenomenological characteristics of flashbulb memory were similar between the two groups overall. However, individuals with schizophrenia reported having higher levels of emotion when they first learned about the attack compared to the control group. Our results replicate findings of impaired autobiographical memory functioning in schizophrenia and extend these findings to public events. Our findings also indicate that flashbulb memories may lead to substantial contextual recall in schizophrenia patients and that collective memories, such as a terrorist attack, can have a profound emotional impact on patients.

In order to avoid the accumulation of waste generated in the environment, an alternative to reuse waste from a bucket producing company was developed, so that the waste is used in the process itself, generating savings for the company itself in addition to the benefits for the environment. The Company generates around 4600 kg per month of waste that goes to recycling, however this generates a financial loss for the same since the sale is made well below cost. Thus, by reusing this same material in the production process of the buckets, it would make the Company 100% sustainable. Through the use of a mill, it is possible to prepare the waste toreturn it to the production process as a raw material. The following quality tests were carried out on the buckets made with tailings that were processed in the mill: visual appearance, flexibility/resistance, weight, template, seal, drop, stacking and wall thickness test. All tests reached the quality standards established by the Company. The monthly operating cost of the mill would be almost nil and the return on your investment would be in just 3 months. Thus, it can be said that the implementation of a mill in the Company is viable both from the point of view of the quality of the product produced and the economic aspect. Visando evitar o acúmulo de lixo gerado no meio ambiente, foi desenvolvida uma alternativa de reaproveitamento de resíduos de uma empresa produtora de baldes, para que o rejeito seja utilizado no próprio processo gerando uma economia para a própria empresa além dos benefícios para o meio ambiente. A Empresa gera em torno de 4600 kg por mês de rejeito que vai para a reciclagem, porém isto gera uma perda financeira visto que a venda é feita bem abaixo do custo. Assim, reutilizando este mesmo material no processo de produção dos baldes, tornaria a Empresa 100% sustentável. Por meio do uso de um moinho, é possível preparar o rejeito para o mesmo retornar ao processo produtivo como matéria-prima. Foram realizados testes de qualidade nos baldes confeccionados com rejeito que foi processado no moinho: teste de aparência visual, flexibilidade/resistência, peso, gabarito, vedação, queda, empilhamento e espessura da parede. Todos os testes atingiram os padrões de qualidade. O custo de operação mensal do moinho seria quase nulo e o retorno de seu investimento seria em apenas 3 meses. Assim, pode-se afirmar que a implementação de um moinho na Empresa é viável tanto do ponto de vista de qualidade quanto do aspecto econômico.

Understanding the temporal variation in abundance patterns of vector or potential vector species, as well as the abiotic factors associated with these patterns, enables the creation of strategic measures aimed at preventing diseases spread by these organisms. Here, we evaluate through circular and linear analyses the temporal variation in abundance patterns of native mosquito species and verify how abiotic factors (temperature and rainfall) have influenced these patterns. For this purpose, fortnightly collections were carried out during one year in a remnant of the Atlantic Forest in Southern Brazil. We collected 1891 specimens belonging to 24 species. From those, 10 species were abundant enough to evaluate temporal variation in abundance patterns. We found different periods of occurrence for different species of mosquitoes and the distribution of abundances also differed throughout the year. Temperature was the main abiotic factor associated with temporal variation in abundance patterns presented by mosquito species. In this way, the application of these analyses is particularly interesting for the understanding of temporal variation in abundance patterns and subsequent adoption of preventive strategies for organisms of medical importance such as mosquitoes.

Louse flies (Lipoptena mazamae) are important Gray brocket deer (Mazama gouazoubira) parasites, and can be found in large numbers in this mammal. Their distribution is known for just a few locations, and because of this, it is so important to report new records of this association. To contribute with knowledge concerning this parasitism relationship, a record of this fly species parasitizing a deer individual in southern Brazil is reported herein. Such records are paramount, as L. mazamae displays both zoonotic and medical importance, due to the potential propagation of etiological agents that cause diseases. Moreover, as far as we know, this study is only the fifth study that reports this association worldwide, indicating its relevance. It is very important to perform studies as these, because we may contribute to new records of this association of parasitism, therefore, we contribute to alert authorities to the possible association of these parasites with diseases that may pose problems for human and other animal health. Moscas da família Hipoboscidae (Lipoptena mazamae) são parasitos muito importantes do veado-catingueiro (Mazama gouazoubira), podendo ser encontrados em uma considerável abundância nesse mamífero. Sua distribuição é conhecida em apenas alguns locais, e, por causa disso, é muito importante reportar novos registros dessa associação de parasitismo. Para contribuir com o conhecimento dessa associação, é reportado aqui um novo registro dessa mosca parasitando um indivíduo de veado-catingueiro. Esses registros se destacam, pois L. mazamae possui importância médica e veterinária, devido ao seu potencial de veicular agentes etiológicos causadores de doenças. Além disso, depois de nossas pesquisas, concluímos que este é apenas o quinto estudo reportando essa associação no mundo, indicando, portanto, sua relevância. Estudos como este são relevantes, pois contribuem com novos registros dessa associação de parasitismo, e, portanto, pode-se também servir como alerta às autoridades para a possível associação desses parasitos com doenças que podem causar danos à saúde humana e de outros animais.

The sharp increase of pressure at the edge of a high confinement mode (H-mode) plasma, the pedestal, strongly impacts overall plasma performance. Predicting the pedestal is a necessity to control and optimize tokamak operations. An experimental data-driven machine learning (ML) approach is presented, which predicts the pedestal heights and widths of electron density ( $n_{\mathrm {e}}$ ) and electron temperature ( $T_{\mathrm {e}}$ ) profiles as well as the separatrix $n_{\mathrm {e}}$ from externally controllable parameters such as the plasma shape, heating method and power, and gas puff rate and integrated gas puff. The one modeling framework for integrated tasks (OMFIT) framework was used with DIII-D data to efficiently, robustly, and automatically build a database of pedestal parameters to train ML models. Database creation was enabled by the search engine tool for DIII-D data, TokSearch, which parallelizes data fetching, enabling fast searches through basic signals of thousands of DIII-D shots and selection of relevant time intervals. Principal component analysis (PCA) separated the database into three clusters that represent classes of plasma shapes that are regularly used in DIII-D. The most important parameters for setting the pedestal structure were plasma current ( $I_{\mathrm {p}}$ ), toroidal magnetic field ( $B_{\phi }$ ), neutral beam heating power ( $P_{{\mathrm {NBI}}}$ ), and shaping quantities. The deep jointly informed neural networks (DJINNs) algorithm was applied to identify suitable neural network (NN) architectures that appropriately capture the features of the pedestal database. Separate NNs were implemented for each pedestal parameter, and ensembling methods were used to improve the prediction accuracy and allowed estimation of the prediction uncertainty. The pedestal predictions of the test dataset lie within the measurement uncertainties of the pedestal parameters. The NN outperformed simple linear regression (LR) analysis, indicating nonlinear dependencies in the pedestal structure. The presented achievements illustrate a promising path for future research, using feature extraction to infer experimental trends and thereby improve pedestal models as well as deploying NN for a fast pedestal prediction in DIII-D scenario development.

Objetivo: identificar o perfil de profissionais e a organização do trabalho nas centrais nacional e estaduais de transplante. Método: pesquisa quantitativa, descritiva, realizada com 34 profissionais das centrais de transplantes. Realizou-se coleta de dados entre junho e setembro de 2020, por meio de questionário eletrônico. Os dados foram analisados pela estatística descritiva. Resultados: as equipes de transplantes são compostas principalmente por enfermeiros (73,5%), com tempo de formação entre 11 e 20 anos (41,2%) e atuação nas centrais entre cinco e 10 anos (44,1%). As atividades de gestão foram as mais citadas, seguida pelas de educação, e por fim atividades assistenciais. Conclusão: a partir deste estudo foi possível evidenciar quem são os profissionais atuantes nas Centrais de Transplantes. O enfermeiro destaca-se como integrante das equipes das centrais. A atuação do enfermeiro no processo de doação de órgãos é de extrema importância, visto que é o gestor do cuidado.

Evidence shows that participants choose to disengage during emotion regulation (ER) when facing high intensity stimuli, whereas engage when the intensity is low. No study explored ER choice when participants have more than two strategies to regulate their emotions, nor the role of psychopathology on ER choice. This study aimed to replicate and extend the results of Sheppes et al. (2011) and to explore the role of psychosis-proneness in ER strategies choice. In total, 128 non-clinical participants completed two experimental tasks (a replication task and an extension task), choosing an ER strategy in two conditions. Participants favoured disengagement strategies when the emotional intensity was high and engagement strategies when the intensity was low. Psychosis-proneness seems to be associated with difficulties in adapting to the emotional context. These results expand our understanding on ER choices and provide knowledge on flexibility in ER as well as its implication in psychosis-proneness.

Background:Voice hearing occurs across a number of psychiatric diagnoses and appears to be present on a continuum within the general population. Previous research has highlighted the potential role of past experiences of shame in proneness to voice hearing in the general population.Aims:This study aimed to extend this past research and compare people with distressing voices, people with voices but no distress, and a non-voice hearing control group, on various dimensions of shame and shame memory characteristics.Method:In a cross-sectional, online study 39 distressed voice hearers, 31 non-distressed voice hearers and 50 non-voice hearers undertook a shame memory priming task in which they were prompted to recall a memory of a shaming experience from their past. They then completed questionnaires assessing the characteristics of the recalled shame event and the psychological sequalae of this event (i.e. intrusions, hyperarousal, avoidance, the centrality of shame memories, external shame, and self-criticism).Results:The majority of recalled shame memories involved experiences such as interpersonal criticism or experiences of being devalued. Univariate analyses found no significant differences between the three groups with regard to the shame events that were recalled, but the distressed voice hearer group reported significantly more hyperarousal, intrusions, self-criticism, and external shame in relation to their experience.Conclusions:The findings suggest that voice hearers recall similar types of shame experiences to non-voice hearers, but that problematic psychological sequelae of these shame experiences (in the form of intrusive memories, hyperarousal, external shame, and self-criticism) may specifically contribute to distressing voice hearing.

Cerebellar symptoms remain orphan of treatment options despite being prevalent and incapacitating. Investigate whether dentate nucleus deep brain stimulation (DN DBS) is safe and leads to improvements in cerebellar symptoms when compared to sham stimulation. This randomized double-blind crossover pilot trial enrolled five patients with spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 or post-lesion ataxia. Active or sham phases were randomly performed three months apart. The primary outcome was ataxia improvement as measured by the Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) after the active compared to the sham period. Secondary outcome measures included safety and tolerability, the Fahn-Tolosa-Marin Tremor Rating Scale (FTMRS), quality of life measurements, and patients' global impression of change. The effects on ataxia were numerically better in four out of five patients after active versus sham stimulation. The composite SARA score did not change after comparing active to sham stimulation (8.6 ± 3.6 versus 10.1 ± 4.1; p = 0.223). The FTMRS showed significant improvement after active stimulation versus sham (18.0 ± 17.2 versus 22.2 ± 19.5; p = 0.039) as did patients' global impression of change (p = 0.038). The quality of life was not modified by stimulation (p = 0.337). DN DBS was well tolerated without serious adverse events. One patient had the electrode repositioned. DN DBS is a safe and well tolerated procedure that is effective in alleviating cerebellar tremor. In this small cohort of ataxic patients, DN DBS did not achieve statistical significance for ataxia improvement.

Shame is a universal emotion, albeit having a bewildering constellation of causes, valuations, and behavioural consequences that differ across social ecologies. This transdiagnostic emotion may be categorized into two distinct components: external and internal shame. The External and Internal Shame Scale (EISS) has proven to be a brief and reliable instrument to assess external and internal shame, as well as a global sense of shame. The current study aims to corroborate the validity of the EISS and expand its utility, by investigating its dimensionality and testing its measurement invariance in samples from five eclectic countries from Europe, East and Southeast Asia and Australia. Differences in EISS scores across the five countries were also explored. This cross-national study included 1405 participants recruited in community samples of adults from Portuguese, French, Australian, Singaporean and Japanese populations, who completed the EISS in four different languages. An hierarchical model with two factors (external and internal shame) loading on one global factor (global shame) revealed good fit to the data in the total sample and in each of the five countries’ samples, and the instrument showed good reliability across countries. The EISS factorial structure also proved to be invariant across countries. Differences in global shame, external and internal shame scores were found between the countries. By supporting the factorial structure, reliability and measurement invariance of the EISS across countries, this study contributes to expand the use of the EISS across nations and in different languages, both in research and clinical settings.

Resume La psychologie anglo-saxonne a produit un nombre consequent d’etudes mettant en evidence l’implication de mecanismes psychologiques dans le developpement et le maintien des hallucinations acoustico-verbales (HAVs), aussi appelees phenomene d’entente de voix. S’il est souvent considere, pour des raisons historiques, que les HAVs sont une des caracteristiques principales des troubles psychotiques et notamment schizophreniques, les etudes epidemiologiques montrent que celles-ci sont egalement extremement prevalentes dans de nombreuses autres populations cliniques (e.g. trouble bipolaire, trouble de stress post-traumatique, trouble de personnalite borderline) et neurologiques (e.g. Maladie de Parkinson), tout comme au sein de la population generale. Cependant, les HAVs restent encore, en pratique courante, associees a la psychose, et d’un point de vue etiologique a des « dysfonctionnements neurobiologiques complexes ». L’objectif principal de cette revue est de faire une synthese narrative et integrative des differents modeles psychologiques faisant actuellement consensus sur les HAVs. Plus precisement, nous decrirons (1) le role des croyances a propos de l’experience d’entente de voix et les croyances a propos de soi, (2) l’experience d’entente de voix comme devant etre comprise comme un phenomene fondamentalement relationnel entre l’entendeur de voix et la voix elle-meme, (3) le role des emotions et des strategies de regulation emotionnelle, et (4) le role des experiences passees traumatiques et de la dissociation. Nous terminons cette revue par une breve critique argumentee de la conception des HAVs telle qu’elle est actuellement adoptee en psychiatrie.

Resume Les hallucinations acoustico-verbales (HAVs) ou phenomene d’entente de voix doivent etre considerees comme relevant d’un continuum entre le normal et le pathologique et cliniquement comme un phenomene transdiagnostique. Les etudes sur le sujet montrent que l’on retrouve ce phenomene aussi bien en population generale que dans des troubles mentaux n’appartenant pas a la sphere des psychoses comme le stress post-traumatique ou le trouble de la personnalite borderline. Les traitements pharmacologiques, notamment les neuroleptiques, sont actuellement consideres comme les traitements de premiere intention des HAVs. Il s’avere cependant qu’un nombre consequent d’individus sous neuroleptiques continuent d’entendre des voix, phenomene souvent associe a une forte detresse emotionnelle. L’objectif de cette revue est de presenter et discuter l’efficacite des interventions psychologiques de type comportemental et cognitif dans la prise en charge des HAVs, principalement en complement des traitements pharmacologiques. Ces interventions comprennent principalement des techniques d’autogestion des voix et des techniques classiques issues des therapies comportementales et cognitives (TCC) comme : (1) la modification des croyances envers les voix (notamment les voix qui ordonnent, qui sont percues comme malveillantes, omniscientes et omnipotentes), et les croyances negatives envers soi ; et (2) a modifier les comportements interpersonnels entre l’entendeur de voix et celles-ci, notamment en augmentant les comportements d’assertivite, via des techniques de jeux de roles ou l’utilisation de nouvelles technologies interactives (therapie par avatar). Enfin, les barrieres a l’implementation des TCC des HAVs sont discutees et les auteurs proposent un ensemble de recommandations pratiques sur la TCC des voix a l’adresse des cliniciens.

Pautados em uma perspectiva discursiva de linha bakhtiniana, compreendemos a ata como uma manifestação social específica, fruto de condições concretas de produção e materializada em um texto com diversas peculiaridades estruturais e linguísticas. Nesse sentido, propomos, neste artigo, um estudo do estilo do gênero Ata. Para tanto, buscamos retomar a concepção de gênero do discurso a partir de Bakthin (1997), levantamos orientações técnicas a respeito da textualização das atas de acordo com o Manual de Redação da Presidência da República e opomos os dados levantados às ocorrências linguísticas verificáveis em um conjunto de atas institucionais selecionado. A análise dos dados indicou que, apesar dos manuais de redação oficial definirem a ata como um relato fiel das discussões e decisões de uma reunião, a objetividade anunciada para esse gênero apresenta brechas em que o secretário/redator atua, como a seleção de informações e de vocabulário a comporem o texto. Tais escolhas caracterizam-se como pontos de ancoragem da subjetividade nas atas. Palavras-chave: Discurso. Gênero ata. Secretariado. ABSTRACT Based on a discursive perspective of Bakhtinian line, we understand the meeting minutes as a specific social manifestation, product of concrete conditions of production and materialized in a text with diverse structural and linguistic peculiarities. In that sense, we propose, in this paper, a study of the genre Minutes. To that end, we retrieved Bakhtin’s (1997) conception of discourse genre and gathered technical guidance as to the minutes textualization according to the Writing Manual e of the Republic Presidency. We then contrasted the data gathered to the verifiable linguistic occurrences in a selected collection of institutional minutes. The data analysis indicated that, even though the official writing manuals define the minutes as a faithful report of the discussions and decisions of a meeting, the objectivity announced for this genre presents gaps in which the secretary/writer acts, as in the selection of information and vocabulary that compose the text. Such choices are defined as anchoring points to the subjectivity of the minutes. Keywords: Discourse. Meeting minutes genre. Secretariat.

The aim of this RCT is to test the efficacy of the Affective Regulation Training program (ART; Berking & Whitley, 2014) in a student population. More precisely, the goal is to test the mediative role of emotion regulation flexibility in the efficacy of the program on mental health (i.e., depressive and anxious symptoms). In the present study we will evaluate whether high paranoia-proneness non-clinical participants exhibit an attentional bias towards threatening and ambiguous stimuli compared to low paranoia-proneness non-clinical individuals. More specifically, the type of attentional biases will also be studied (e.g., hypervigilance, impaired disengagement or avoidance) using eye-tracking measures.

In this paper, we present a brief historic overview of the research on dust in fusion devices with carbon plasma-facing components and then highlight the most recent developments in the post-carbon era of the field. In particular, we consider how the metallic dust form, mobilize, and interact with fusion plasmas and plasma facing components. Achievements in wall conditioning and associated anomalous plasma transport modification, including ELM suppression, with the powder injection technique is another focus of the paper. Capabilities of the state-of-art simulation tools to describe different aspects of dust in fusion devices are exemplified and new directions for future dust studies are brought forward.

The overall goal of the present study will be to replicate the results by Bortolon et al. (submitted). We will adopt the emotion regulation flexibility approach as proposed by Bonannno and Burton (2013) to explore the links between ER flexibility and psychosis proneness (frequency and distress). Thus, our first goal is to test which components of ER flexibility are associated with psychosis-proneness (only frequency) cross-sectionally. (replication) Our second goal is to explore the links between ER flexibility and psychosis proneness (frequency and distress), in a longitudinal study (2 times measurement). More precisely, we will evaluate individuals' context-sensitivity, repertoire, and feedback as well as psychotic-like experiences (frequency and distress).

A literatura representa um bem social que precisa ser valorizado e oportunizado às crianças, sobretudo, voltada à interculturalidade, no contexto da literatura infantil indígena, como forma de promover a diversidade cultural. Este relato de pesquisa tem como objetivo apresentar como uma prática pedagógica interdisciplinar realizada em uma turma de Ensino Fundamental – Anos Iniciais, do Colégio de Aplicação/UFRR, em Boa Vista/RR, contribuiu para a formação cidadã, na perspectiva da interculturalidade, tendo a literatura enquanto um bem indispensável. Como estratégia de ensino, utilizou-se a proposição de uma sequência didática, envolvendo diversas áreas do conhecimento, a partir de um projeto denominado “Paradan: cultivando sementes”. Como resultado deste trabalho, os alunos produziram um livro com a temática indígena relacionando os conhecimentos apreendidos ao longo do processo de aprendizagem. Através da produção das crianças, com a prática pedagógica aplicada, pode-se constatar o quanto apreenderam sobre a cultura indígena e o contexto diverso em que estão inseridos.

As mudanças trazidas pela Lei 13.105, de 16 de março de 2015, que instituiu o novo Código de Processo Civil brasileiro, são, em boa parte, estruturais de todo o direito processual, sem, portanto, limitar-se à esfera civil, dada sua expressa vinculação (art. 1º) às normas fundamentais da Constituição. Dentre tais mudanças, destaca-se o tema dos precedentes jurisprudenciais formalmente vinculantes, em especial pelas disposições dos art. 486, §1º, incs. V e VI, e 927, tema que encontra total pertinência com a atividade de interpretação do direito, o que, por sua vez, também possui destaque no art. 486, parágrafos 2º e 3º. Este artigo trata desse tema preliminar à questão dos precedentes, qual seja a interpretação da lei (em sentido lato) como processo de formação da norma jurídica e introduz a importância dos limites consensuais à atividade do intérprete do direito.
