Osmanlı vakıflarının temel görevi, kamusal niteliği olan pek çok hizmeti Osmanlı toplumuna sunmaktır. Eğitimden sağlığa, sosyal güvenlikten diyanet ve bayındırlığa, sosyal yardıma kadar pek çok görev ifa eden vakıflar, Osmanlı toplumu için büyük önem arz eden müesseseler olmuşlardır. Çalışma; seçilmiş arşiv kaynakları olan Ahkâm Defterleri çerçevesinde vakıfları incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında toplam 677 tane hüküm incelenmiştir. Kaynaklar incelendiğinde vakıfların XVIII. yüzyıl sonları ve XIX. yüzyıl başlarında da; öncesinde olduğu gibi ekonomik, mali ve sosyal açılardan toplumu etkiledikleri görülmüştür. Kira ve kiracılık, vakıf yerin tasarrufu ve istibdâli, vakfa müdahale ya da vakfın müdahalesi ve vakfın ve kiracının yapmış olduğu tamir ve onarımlar ile ilgili konular bu etkileşim alanlarından bazılarıdır. Nihai olarak vakıfların, Evkaf Nezareti’ne bağlanarak denetimlerinin tekleştirilmesine kadar; Osmanlı toplumunu ekonomik, mali ve sosyal açılardan etkilediği Ahkâm Defterleri ile doğrulanmıştır.

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, radyo frekans kurutma teknolojisi kullanılarak siyah havuç posası kurutulmuştur ve radyo frekans kurutma sisteminin etkinliği ve kurutulmuş siyah havuç posasının kalite özellikleri incelenmiştir. Materyal ve yöntem: Siyah havuç posasının radyo frekans kurutma sisteminde kurutulması için 80 mm elektrot yüksekliği, 20 mm ürün kalınlığı ve 500 g ürün ağırlığı koşulları kullanılmıştır. Siyah havuç posasını kurutmak için kullanılan radyo frekans kurutma tekniğinin kuruma özelliklerini tanımlamak için altı farklı matematiksel model uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca, kurumanın etkin nem difüzyon katsayı değerini tahmin edebilmek için difüzyon denklemi (Fick'in ikinci yasası) ve eğim yöntemi (the slope method) kullanılmıştır. Son olarak, radyo frekans kurutma sistemiyle kurutulan siyah havuç posasının ürün kalitesi; renk, toplam fenolik içerik, toplam antosiyanin içerik ve antioksidan kapasite açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular ve sonuç: Hedef nem içeriğine (0,04 g su/g kuru madde) ulaşmak için gereken toplam kuruma süresi 210 dk olarak tespit edilmiştir. Radyo frekans kurutmanın kuruma özelliğini tanımlayan en iyi model Midilli modeli olarak belirlenmiştir. Difüzyon denklemi yöntemiyle 0,42×10-6 m2/dk ve 1,31×10-6 m2/dk olmak üzere iki etkin nem difüzyon katsayısı (Deff-fick) elde edilirken, eğim yöntemiyle elde edilen etkin nem difüzyon katsayısı (Deff-sm) değerlerinin 0,41-1,59×10-6 m2/dk aralığında değiştiği tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, pectin was extracted from the pistachio hull using two methods: conventional extraction and ultrasound-assisted extraction. Water and citric acid solution were tested separately as extraction solvents in both conventional and ultrasound methods. The highest yield (32.3 ± 1.44%) was obtained using a citric acid solution in the conventional extraction method. The pectin extracted with this method had 38.94 g acid per 100 g dry pectin extract. The galacturonic acid and ash contents were 65.81 ± 1.51 and 1.57 ± 0.03%, respectively. The pistachio hull pectin was under the low methoxy pectin group with a 19.29 ± 0.41% degree of esterification. The emulsifying property of the pectin extracted was investigated in an oil-in-water emulsion system at six different pectin concentrations (2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10% w/w) and at a fixed oil ratio (20% w/w). Emulsion performance was investigated in terms of emulsion stability, microstructural characteristics, droplet size, and rheological properties. The most stable emulsion was obtained at a 6% pectin concentration. The emulsifying activity index, emulsion stability index, droplet size, consistency index, and flow behavior index were 172.85 ± 0.59 m

Makro teoriler inşa etmek, sosyal bilimcilerin her zaman ana hedeflerinden biri olmuştur. Sistem teorisi ise hem sosyolojinin hem de uluslararası politikanın en önemli çalışma alanlarından biri olagelmiştir. Sistem yaklaşımı, aynı zamanda uluslararası ilişkilerin analiz birimi olarak kullanılmaktadır. Sistem teorisini en kapsamlı şekilde ele alan Morton Kaplan, gelenekselci metodun karşısında yer alarak çalışmalarını davranışsalcı akımın içinde yürütmüştür. Buna karşın Hedley Bull gibi teorisyenler ise gelenekselci yaklaşıma yaslanmayı tercih etmişlerdir. İngiliz okulu uluslararası siyaset teorisyenleri, sistem yerine düzen ya da uluslararası toplum kavramını analiz düzeyi olarak kullanmaktadırlar. Barry Buzan ve Richard Little’ın sistem tarihi yazımı denemesi ise daha çoklu metodoloji ve çoklu analiz seviyeleri kullanılarak yazılmıştır. Bu çalışma, siyasi tarih yazımını medeniyet tarihi içinde bir yere koymaya çalışacak, fakat uluslararası sistem tarihinin ana çerçevesini sunarken aynı zamanda kavramsal alt yapısını da oluşturmaya çalışacaktır. Morton Kaplandan sonra uluslararası siyasete üst seviyeden bir bakış, Kenneth Waltz tarafından yapılmıştır. Waltz’ın ana iddiası, ekonomi alanında olduğu gibi uluslararası ilişkiler analizinde de makro teori geliştirilebileceği yönündedir. Onun çalışması daha çok Soğuk Savaş dönemi uluslararası düzenini açıklamaya yönelik olmuştur. Fakat Soğuk Savaş sonrası dönemde Sosyal İnşacılık yaklaşımının yapı ve yapan ilişkisini açıklaması, uluslararası siyasete dair yeni bir kuramsal deneme sunmuştur. Fakat onların yaklaşımı, bir tarih yazımında kullanılmaktan ziyade sistem içindeki değişimi açıklamaya yönelik olarak kurgulanmıştır. Diğer taraftan Ernest Haas’ın sistem yaklaşımı ise uluslararası örgütlerin sistem içinde oynadığı role dikkat çekmektedir. Onun sistem yaklaşımı, sistemin bir parçası olan yapı konusunda bir öngörü sunmasına rağmen siyasi bir tarih yazımına herhangi bir katkısı söz konusu değildir. Buna karşın Richard Resocrance’ın denemesi, en başarılı sistem tarihi yazımlardan biri olarak değerlendirilebilir.

A single-valued neutrosophic multi-set is characterized by a sequence of truth membership degrees, a sequence of indeterminacy membership degrees and a sequence of falsity membership degrees. Nature of a single-valued neutrosophic multi-set allows us to consider multiple information in the truth, indeterminacy and falsity memberships which is pretty useful in multi-criteria group decision making. In this paper, we consider sequences of intuitionistic fuzzy values instead of numbers to define the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic multi-set. In this manner, such a set gives more powerful information. We also present some set theoretic operations and a partial order for intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic sets and provide some algebraic operations between intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic values. Then, we develop two types of weighted aggregation operators with the help of intuitionistic fuzzy t-norms and t-conorms. By considering some well-known additive generators of ordinary t-norms, we give the Algebraic weighted arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators and the Einstein weighted arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators that are the particular cases of the weighted aggregation operators defined via general t-norms and t-conorms. We also define a simplified neutrosophic valued similarity measure and we use a score function for simplified neutrosophic values to rank similarities of intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic multi-values. Finally, we give an algorithm to solve classification problems using intuitionistic fuzzy-valued neutrosophic multi-values and proposed aggregation operators and we apply the theoretical part of the paper to a real classification problem.

In this study, some chemical properties of pomegranate and lemon juice sauces sold in the Gaziantep market were investigated. For this purpose, six samples of lemon sauce and pomegranate sauce samples were taken. The total phenolic content, total anthocyanin content, brix, titration acidity, pH, organic acid, and sugar contents of the samples were determined. According to the results of the study, the chemical analysis results of the pomegranate sauce samples were determined as follows; total phenolic content of 0.27-1.41 mg GAE/g pomegranate sauce (PS); total anthocyanin content of 0.37-4.77 µg/g PS; brix of 68.45-73.20 %; the titration acidity of 4.3-8.7 % and the pH of 1.32 -1.71. For the lemon sauces, the total phenolic content, titration acidity, and pH were found in a range of 0.07-0.66 mg GAE/mL lemon sauce, 5.1-7.6 %, and 1.23-1.49, respectively. In addition, the main organic acid in pomegranate and lemon sauces was detected as citric acid and the quantity varied between 5.19-9.95 g/100g and 52.26-84.59 g/L, respectively. The main sugar in the samples was determined as glucose and fructose for lemon sauces and only glucose for pomegranate sauces. It was concluded that the samples of lemon and pomegranate sauce used in the study were different from each other in terms of some chemical properties.

Der Aufstieg künstlichen Intelligenz (KI) hat in den letzten Jahren große Fortschritte gemacht und künstliche kreative Leistungen in verschiedenen kreativen Bereichen, wie der bildenden Kunst, Literatur und Musik hervorgebracht. Es gibt jedoch kaum Stimulationsstudien der menschlichen kreativen Denkfähigkeit durch KI. In der vorliegenden Studie wurde deshalb untersucht, ob moderne KI-Techniken eingesetzt werden können, um das menschliche kreative kognitive Potenzial (z. B. divergentes Denken) positiv zu stimulieren und ob Intelligenz, Persönlichkeitsmerkmale und die Verwendung zielgerichteter kognitiver Strategien (Eigenschaftsstrategie) moderierende Effekte haben könnten. Unter Verwendung der von AI ResNet50 bereitgestellten Vorschläge wurden die ProbandInnen (N = 118) kognitiv angeregt, während sie den alternative uses task (AUT) in einem within-subjects Design mit drei Bedingungen bearbeiteten: keine KI, objektrelevante KI und objektirrelevante KI Bedingung. Intelligenz, Offenheit und Intellekt wurden ebenfalls erhoben. Die Ergebnisse der Manipulationschecks zeigten zunächst, dass die ProbandInnen subjektiv berichteten, dass die Stimuli in der objektrelevanten KI-Bedingung nützlicher und dass die Formen der Stimuli im Vergleich zur objektrelevanten KI-Bedingung stärker physisch mit den AU-Objekten verbunden waren. Darüber hinaus berichteten die Teilnehmer subjektiv, dass ihnen in der objektrelevanten KI-Bedingung andere Ideen einfielen, als die Vorschläge im Vergleich zur objektirrelevanten KI-Bedingung direkt implizieren würden. Die positiven Befunde der Manipulationschecks unterstreichen die beabsichtigte Wirksamkeit der Manipulationen. Es wurde jedoch keine statistisch bedeutsame Veränderung der divergenten Denkleistung in allen Bedingungen festgestellt, weder für Ideenoriginalität noch für Ideenflüssigkeit. Des Weiteren ergaben Moderationsanalysen keine Auswirkungen von Intelligenz, Offenheit und Intellekt auf die Verwendung der Eigenschaftsstrategie zur Vorhersage der divergenten Denkleistung in der objektrelevanten KI-Bedingung. Lediglich die Eigenschaftsstrategie und Offenheit sagten in allen Moderationsanalysen Ideenoriginalität voraus, nicht aber Ideenflüssigkeit. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass moderne KI-Systeme noch nicht in der Lage sind menschliches divergentes Denken positiv zu beeinflussen, aber sie liefern Implikationen für das Verständnis des Zusammenspiels zwischen KI-Systemen und moderner psychologischer Kreativitätsforschung. The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) in the last years made progress by showing artificial creative achievements in various creative domains such as in visual arts, literature, or music. However, studies on stimulating human creative cognitive abilities by AI are rare. The present study investigated the question whether modern AI techniques can be used to stimulate human creative cognitive potential (e.g., divergent thinking) and whether intelligence, personality, and the use of goal-directed cognitive strategies (property-use strategy) have moderating effects. Using the provided performing suggestions from AI ResNet50, participants (N = 118) were cognitively stimulated while performing the alternative uses task (AUT) in a within-subjects design with three conditions: no-AI, object-relevant AI, and object-irrelevant AI condition. Furthermore, intelligence, openness and intellect were assessed. First, results of manipulation checks indicated that participants reported subjectively that stimuli in the object-relevant AI condition were more useful, and the shapes of stimuli were physically more related to the AU item compared to the object-irrelevant AI condition. Additionally, participants in the object-relevant AI condition came up with other ideas than the performing suggestions would directly imply compared to the object-irrelevant AI condition. The positive results of the manipulation checks highlight the intended effectiveness of the manipulation. However, no significant change in divergent thinking performance in all conditions for both ideational originality and ideational fluency were found. Further, moderation analyses revealed no effects of intelligence, openness, and intellect on the property-use strategy for predicting DT performance in object-relevant AI condition. Only property-use strategy and openness predicted ideational originality in all moderation analyses, but not in ideational fluency. The findings highlight that modern AI systems are not yet able to affect human divergent thinking positively but provide implications for understanding the interplay between AI systems and modern psychological creativity research. Ülkelerin ekonomik kalkınma ve büyümesinde kilit rol oynayan, ulusal ve uluslararası piyasalarda üstünlük sağlayan Araştırma-Geliştirme (Ar-Ge)’nin her geçen gün önemi özel, kamu ve diğer sektörler açısından artış göstermektedir. Bu yöndeki faaliyet alanlarının genişleyebilmesi, Ar-Ge harcamalarının ve performansının artabilmesi için kamunun politika araçları ile müdahalesi gerekliliği oluşmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Ar-Ge harcamaları ve politikalarını başarılı yürüten ülkelerde Ar-Ge harcama ve politikalarının boyutları ve ne şekilde uygulandığı sorgulanmış ve Türkiye’de uygulanabilecek politikaların belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada, Ar-Ge faaliyetlerine yönelik yapılan harcama ve politikaların seçili ülkeler ve Türkiye’de gelişimi ve uygulamaları incelenmiştir. Ülkelerin seçilmesinde Ar-Ge göstergeleri ve uyguladıkları Ar-Ge politikalarındaki başarıları etkili olmuştur. Yapılan incelemeler doğrultusunda, Ar-Ge harcama yoğunluğu Türkiye dışındaki ülkelerde OECD ülkeleri ortalamasında gerçekleşirken Türkiye’de OECD ortalamasının altında olduğu ve Ar-Ge faaliyet alanlarının arttırılmasında ise politika yapıcıların teşvik destek unsurlarına yönelimi Japonya, Almanya, Güney Kore ve İsviçre’de, ağırlıklı olarak kredi ve hibe gibi vergi dışı; Türkiye’de ise vergisel destekler sağlama yönünde geliştiği saptanmıştır.

Here, a new and inexpensive polymer nanomaterial consisting of polyacrylamide and carmine (PAM-CR) was synthesized to provide selective extraction of aluminum and chromium from vegetable samples prior to their determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Various characterized techniques including scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction were applied to investigate the structure and morphology of the PAM-CR. Important factors were investigated and optimized to improve the effectiveness of the adsorbent. Under optimized conditions, calibration graphs for Al(III) and Cr(III) were linear in the range from 0.2 to 400.0 μg L− 1 and 1.0 to 500.0 μg L− 1, respectively. Satisfied recoveries between 93.1% and 102.7% were obtained with detection limits of 0.06 μg L−1 and 0.35 μg L−1 for Al(III) and Cr(III), respectively. The relative standard deviation was in range of 2.0–2.3%. The PAM-CR can be reused 8 times without significant loss in the recovery. After validation study with certified reference material, the proposed method was successfully applied to the pre-concentration and determination of Al(III) and Cr(III) in vegetable samples

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease defined as a shaky stroke. It is clinically characterized by; resting tremor, cogwheel rigidity, bradykinesia, and postural reflex impairment. It is also pathologically characterized by Lewy bodies (LBs) and formed by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the Substantia nigra pars compacta (SNpc) region of the brain and the accumulation of AlphaSynuclein (α-Syn) proteins. Pesticides are the hugest risk factor of PD. They cause the formation of PD by using different mechanisms. They also permanently disrupt the function of the electron transport complex (ETC) located in the mitochondria. Researches show that the pesticide Rotenone (ROT) causes PD in vivo and in vitro conditions by inhibiting mitochondrial complex I and causing oxidative stress. Fluopyram (Flu) is a frequently used pesticide that causes mitochondrial toxicity like ROT. When literature is searched, it makes one think about a connection with PD. it seems that there is no available study on Flu and PD. Flu is one of the fungicides utilized in Isparta city at a high rate for all planting types. The Flu is a mitochondrial complex II inhibitor. The inhibition of mitochondrial complexes is the main pathway in the PD mechanism, therefore complex II inhibitor pesticide may lead to the same result. In this context, we created a Parkinson's model in mice with ROT and compare the result of Flu with this ROT to be sure whether that lead to Parkinson's or not. Swiss albino male and female mice were the testing animals of our study. Positive control (ROT Parkinson model, 1 mg/kg/day), negative control (Solvent only, DMSO), and Flu (0.5,1 and 2 mg/kg/day) were administrated to mice daily doses subcutaneously (SC). The experiment got completed after 21 days. Motor Function Test, Histochemical and Immunohistochemical Studies, Comet assay, and quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) were utilized in the study as well. In our results, no statistically significant changes were observable in animal weights in all groups. In the motor function test, a significant decrease in the ROT group was observable, On the other hand, a significant decrease was detected specifically in the Flu value which was applied at high doses. When the brain tissues that belong to the ROT and Flu tested groups got examined, all-important structural changes such as LBs got observed in the SN. When brain tissues belonging to ROT and Flu groups were examined in α-Syn immunohistochemical staining, more positive markings were observable. When the brain tissues belonging to the ROT and Flu groups were examined in Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) immunohistochemical staining, fewer positive markings were observed. ROT has been found to cause DNA damage in blood and brain tissues. It has been determined that groups with Flu applied in the brain do not have DNA damage. ROT was observed to increase SNCA mRNA expression levels while decreasing TH and DJ-1 mRNA expression levels. Comparing the Flu and ROT results, SNCA mRNA expression levels increased but were not significant. With the detection of decreased TH and DJ-1 mRNA expression levels, the difference was shown in our ROT results. In conclusion, The study results have proved that in mice Flu's induce of PD phenotype depends on Flu doses. It is recommended to do more research with Flu especially in high doses and with different methods

Bu çalışmada Hindistan’ın Orta Asya ile ilişkileri Hintli siyaset düşünürü Kautilya’nın dış politika kuramı çerçevesinde açıklanmıştır. Bu çalışma da Batı dışı teorik bir yaklaşım olan dış politika kuramı, onun devletler çemberi metodunun bir uygulama alanı olmuştur. Bu da uluslararası ilişkiler alanına katkı sağlamıştır. Hindistan’ı yakın komşularına uygulamış olduğu dört amaç olan radikal dini grupların bölgedeki yayılmasının önlenmesi, yasa dışı ticaretinin durdurulması ve çeşitlendirilmesi ve enerji arz güvenliği gibi hedefler konusunda başarılı olup olmadıkları test edilmiştir. Hindistan bölge ülke ile ilişkileri üç tema üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Bunlar siyasi, güvenlikve ekonomik ilişkilerdir. Ayrıca Hindistan, ŞİÖ ile, bölge ülkeleri ile olan iş birliğini artırsa da ekonomik ilişkilerde ciddi bir sıçrama kaydedilmemiştir. Hindistan bölgede artan Çin nüfuzuna karşın, alternatif bir ekonomik güç olma kapasitesine rağmen, Rusya’nın Çin ile bölge üzerinde daha yakın durması bu etkiye kırmaktadır. Eğer Hindistan bölgesel ekonomik ilişkilerini artırırsa hem bölgesel güç hem de küresel bir güç olma kapasitesine sahiptir., In this study, India’s bilateral relations with Central Asian States are explained within the framework of the circle of states theory and foreign policy approach of the ancient Indian political thinker Kautilya. The employment of his theory contributed the field of international relations by bringing new non-western perspectives and dynamics. The study is conceptualised by circle of state and foreign policy approach of Kautilya. It is assessed the success of major objectives of India, which isimplemented to the neighbour states, controlling of the radical religious groups, prevention of drug trade, diversification of trade as well as energy supply security. India has been implemented its bilateral relations in three sectors in that they are politics, security and economic relations. India has also developed its security-oriented relations with having membership within Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Although trade relation is dramatically rise in minor range, it has not much meaningful development for bilateral relations. Having huge capacity to balance the increasing influence of China in the region, the allowance of Russia towards China in the region has weaken the strength of Indian balancing role in the region. It is considered that Indian economic rise will make her regional and global power in international politics.

Migration is moving from one place to another place. Extraordinary situations such as wars, epidemics or natural disasters end with the displacement of people and thus their migration, which leads to some consequences in terms of both migration sending and receiving sides as well as social and geographical consequences. The 93 War between the Ottoman Empire and the Russian State witnessed a great migration wave. Especially with the loss of Bulgaria after the war, the Muslim people living in Bulgaria became refugee and were settled in Skopje, an important Ottoman sanjak due to its strategic location, by the Ottoman State. The Ottoman Empire used every opportunity for the Bulgarian immigrants to maintain their lives. It implemented price control, which is one of its general economic policies, effectively to that end. As in other regions within the borders of the Ottoman Empire, it continued this control which means narh policy in Skopje, and punished those who acted in the opposite direction. The aim of the study is to evaluate the Skopje during and after the 93 War within the scope of fines of narh.

This chapter on Turkey, informed by the South African experience, focuses on the conditional difference between the concepts of ‘critical engagement’ and ‘public sociology’ and argues that critical engagement and the knowledge produced through it bear a Southern character. The author uniquely adds a new dimension to Burawoy’s ‘Southern sociology’ perspective and conceptualizes a ‘sociology across the South’ in his particular attempt to explain the difference between the concepts of critical engagement and public sociology. The first part of the chapter reflects on the critical engagement and positioning of academics in a response to a permanent condition of radical social change in Turkey since the 1950s. The second part underlines the knowledge production at the intersection of the academic and political practices around the debate on Asiatic mode of production and agricultural production that began in the 1960s in Turkey.

We optimized ultrasound-assisted alcohol-based deep eutectic solvent dispersive liquid-phase microextraction for separation and preconcentration of quercetin in wine and food samples by experimental design based on central composite design. Five different alcohol-based deep eutectic solvents were prepared and tested for quercetin extraction. The effect of important parameters and matrix components were optimized. After optimization, the determination of quercetin was performed at 385 nm using spectrophotometry. Analytical data such as detection limit, working range and preconcentration factor were found as 6.1 μg/L, 20-850 μg/L, and 120, respectively. The selectivity of the optimized extraction conditions for quercetin was investigated in the presence of different matrices. The validation of the method was investigated by reproducibility, repeatability and recovery studies, as well as by comparing the analytical results obtained from real samples with the reference method. Lastly, the recommended procedure was successfully applied for the extraction and quantification of quercetin in wine and food samples.

The recent work has an aim to establish a pivotal role of orbital exponent in the normalized atomic radii, atomic density and atomic hardness. These three periodic descriptors help to understand the real scenario of an element. Concerning the effec- tive nuclear charge, screening constant and effective principal quantum number, we have developed a new relation between these periodic properties and invoked a new formula by which we can compute the normalized radii, density and global atomic hardness in terms of the orbital exponent. Innovative combined solar energy assisted air and hot air assisted radio frequency drying system was used to dry unsulphured, sulphured (1 kg/ton and 2 kg/ton sulphur) and pistachio hull extract treated apricots. Unsulphured and sulphured apricots dried under sun were used as the control samples. The effects of different storage temperatures (5, 20 and 35oC) on residual sulphur content, β-carotene and microbial stability characteristics of dried apricots were studied. Also, the effect of storage temperature on the total phenolic content of dried apricots pre-treated with pistachio hull extract was investigated. The obtained results showed that the loss of sulphur and β-carotene was less in the products stored at 5oC compared to the products stored at 20 and 35oC. Sulphur treatment significantly inhibited the loss of β-carotene during storage. The maximum decrease in phenolic content of dried apricots pretreated with extract, was observed in samples stored at 20°C. In addition, extract treatment provided an advantage in terms of storage considering the microbial quality. Elde edilen sonuçlar, 5°C’de depolanan ürünlerde kükürt ve β-karoten kaybının 20 ve 35°C’de depolanan ürünlere kıyasla daha az olduğunu göstermiştir. Kükürtleme işlemi depolama boyunca β-karoten kaybını önemli ölçüde engellemiştir. Ekstrakt ile ön işlem gören kuru kayısıların fenolik madde miktarında en fazla azalma 20°C’de depolanan örneklerde görülmüştür. Ayrıca ekstrakt uygulaması mikrobiyal kalite göz önünde bulundurulduğunda depolama açısından avantaj sağlamıştır. Kombine kurutma sistemi, güneş altında kurutma ile kıyaslandığında daha az kükürt kaybına neden olmuştur.

WOS: 000468714400007, In the present study, a simple, low-cost and green ultrasound assisted- dispersive liquid liquid microextraction (UA-DLLME) procedure was developed for monitoring of trace copper (Cu), cadmium (Cd) and lead (Pb) in honey prior to their analysis by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The method is based on ion-pair formation between anionic citrate chelates of each analyte and triphenyhnethane group dicationic dye, Methyl green (MeG(2+)) at pH 5.5, and then extraction of the formed complexes into micro-drops of extraction solvent. Natural deep eutectic solvent (NADES) as extraction solvent was easily synthesized by mixing citric acid-sucrose at mole ratio of 3:2, and used in extraction process. Some parameters affecting extraction efficiency were studied and optimized in detail. Under the optimum conditions, good linear working ranges (0.9-1050 mu g kg(-1) for Cu, 1.5-675 mu g kg(-1) for Cd, and 3-1200 mu g kg(-1) for Pb) was obtained when considered 0.5 g of sample and 1.5 mL of the pre-treated sample solution after dilution of 5-fold for Cd and 25-fold for Cu and Pb, and the limits of detection and quantification were in the range of 0.23-0.87 and 0.78-2.94 mu g kg(-1) for the analytes, respectively. From analysis results, it was observed that the accuracy (as recovery %), and intra-day/inter-day precision (as relative standard deviation%) were in the range of 90.3-98.4% and 2.0-5.2%, respectively. The method was statistically validated by analysis of a certified reference material. In this study, a simple, pH-controlled, and natural deep eutectic solvent-based microextraction (NADES-ME) procedure is proposed before the spectrophotometric analysis of methylmercury (MeHg) and total mercury in fish and environmental waters. The method is based on charge-transfer sensitive ion-pair formation between MeHg and 3-(dimethylamino)-7-(methylamino)phenothiazin-5-ium chloride (Azure B–AzB) in the presence of chelating citrate-phosphate buffer at pH 6.0, and then extraction of the formed ion-pair complex with the NADES. The important variables affecting extraction efficiency were evaluated and optimised. At optimal conditions (300 µL of 1.0 × 10?3 mol L?1 AzB, 600 µL NADES (betaine-sorbitol, 1:3) containing 10% water (v/v) as extractant, 375 µL acetonitrile as aprotic solvent for sonication of 7 min at power of 300 W/40 kHz, and centrifugation at 4000 rpm for 3 min, respectively), the figures of merit for MeHg include a good linearity in the concentration range of 0.7–340 µg L?1, limits of detection and quantification of 0.25 and 0.83 µg L?1, and pre-concentration and sensitivity enhancement factors of 120 and 95, respectively. Figures of merit for total Hg (iHg, where Hg22+ ions are predominantly present in natural oxygen-rich waters such as freshwaters and seawater as well as elemental Hg and Hg2+ ions at very low amounts) after pre-oxidation at pH 5.0 include linearity range of 3–270 µg L?1 with limits of detection and quantification of 0.92 and 3.10 µg L?1, and pre-concentration and sensitivity enhancement factors of 120 and 35, respectively. The reliability (with recovery of 92–98.7% and RSD of 1.9–5.5%) was statistically validated by analysis of two standard reference materials (SRMs) with and without spiking. WOS: 000473176500006, In this study, a practical and rapid microextraction procedure based on ionic liquid (IL) was proposed for the spectrophotometric determination of morin (2-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5,7-trihydroxychromen-4-one) in foods and beverages. The extraction of morin from the sample matrix was carried out as follows. Firstly, a chelate complex of the morin with Ni(II) was formed in presence of citrate buffer of pH 5.5. Then, 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [C(6)mim] [Tf2N], as extracting IL was added to the sample solution. The complex formed was attached to the microspheres of the [C(6)mim] [Tf2N] using vortex, finally separated and extracted from aqueous medium by centrifugation. The main variables affecting extraction efficiency were investigated and optimized. Under optimized conditions, the proposed method exhibits a linear working range of 17.5-550 mu g L-1 with a sensitivity enhancement of 126-fold. Furthermore, the detection limit, relative standard deviations (RSD%, n 5), and total extraction time were 5.3 mu g L-1, 1.9%, and 8 min with a recovery ranging from 91.8 to 103.6%, respectively. Following the repeatability and reproducibility studies, the method was successfully applied to the trace analysis of morin in various food and beverages.

This study aims to examine the effect of product quality and brand image of samsung mobile phone to purchase intention of consumer in Denpasar technology gallery. The tendency for product purchase intentions make the smart phone as a product aimed at the businessman who has a need for the Internet, there is no age limit or a job to be able to afford it. Public purchasing power is determined based on product quality and brand image of certain products that show the value of the purchased product.This study used 90 samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The method of collecting data through questionnaire. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed by the F- test is product quality and brand image significant positive effect on purchase intention of consumer in technology gallery. The results showed by the coefficient of multiple correlation states is product quality and brand imagesimultaneous positive effect on purchase intention of consumer in technology gallery. Coefficient of determination was obtained equal to 58,2%. There is a partially significant influence between product quality and brand image in the technology gallery. The quality of products is the dominant variables that influence consumer purchase intention on technology gallery. Based on this suggested to the manufacturer Samsung to provide products that comply with the age of the user, such as parents need a keypad with large buttons. The producers through their business partners to create an image that is easily remembered by the public through media that has a wide network.

KMP Nusa Jaya Abadi is primarily intended to connect the economic artery of Klungkung district in general and the island of Bali and small islands in Nusa Penida in particular. Since inaugurated its operation by the President of RI in 2007 until now the revenue from the port and shipping sectors served by Motor Vessel Penyebrangan Roro Nusa Jaya Abadi has reached more than 3.2 billion rupiah which consists of operational unit of loading and unloading goods and port charges. The purpose of this study is to know the analysis of loading and unloading of goods in increasing the Local Original Revenue (PAD) in the Port of Nusa Penida Distribution Klungkung regency. This research was conducted on Technical Implementation Unit of Port of Penpenangan Nusa Penida of Klungkung Regency. While the object of this research is the operational implementation of loading and unloading ship ports in an effort to increase local revenue (PAD). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document recording . The method used in this research is quantitative analysis: correlation analysis, determination analysis, and t-test analysis. The results obtained from this research are: correlation analysis obtained correlation value (r) of = 0.9957, this means that the relationship between the independent variables of loading and unloading with the dependent variable Original Revenue has a correlation coefficient of 0.9957. From result of calculation of determination obtained result equal to 99,15%. This means that loading and unloading activities have an effect on increasing the original income of 99.15%, while the remaining 0.85% is the influence of other variables that are not measured in this study. While the results of t-test analysis obtained value of 10.7792 or (10.7792> 6.3140), it can be said that the relationship that occurs between loading and unloading activities with the original revenue is significant (meaningful).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh Kualitas Jasa Servis (X1) dan Kepuasan Konsumen (X2) terhadap Loyalitas Konsumen (Y) pada toko Asus Global Store di Denpasar. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi, adapun tahap-tahap pengujiannya adalah validitas, reliabilitas, asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien determinasi dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil pengujian hipotesis secara simultan menunjukkan pengaruh kedua variabel independen yang diteliti terbukti secara signifikan mempengaruhi variabel dependen Loyalitas konsumen. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa naik turunnya loyalitas konsumen pada Asus Global Store di Denpasar tergantung oleh naik turunnya tingkat kualitas jasa servis dan kepuasan konsumen yang diberikan oleh usaha tersebut. Angka Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,277 menunjukan bahwa 28% variasi Loyalitas Pelanggan dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel independen dalam persamaan regresi. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 72% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar kedua variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini.

Objectives: Pediatric chronic pain has often been examined from a risk perspective, and relatively less is known about the individual and family-level resilience factors that help youth with chronic pain maintain their quality of life. This cross-sectional study: a) examined the relations among purported youth and parent resilience (youth pain acceptance and pain self-efficacy, parent psychological flexibility) and risk (youth pain intensity, parent protectiveness) factors with youth quality of life, and b) tested exploratory statistical mechanisms that may explain relations between parent and youth variables. Methods: Participants included 122 youth (10 to 17 years; M=14.26, SD=2.19) seen in an interdisciplinary pediatric chronic pain program and a parent. Youth completed measures of their average pain, quality of life, pain acceptance, and pain self-efficacy. Parents completed measures of their pain-related psychological flexibility and behavioral responses to pain (i.e., protectiveness, distraction, monitoring, minimizing). Results: Youth pain acceptance, pain self-efficacy, and parent psychological flexibility were highly positively correlated with each other, and with overall youth quality of life. Evidence for a buffering effect of pain acceptance and pain self-efficacy on the association between pain intensity and quality of life was not found. Protectiveness was found to be a significant mediator of the relation between parental psychological flexibility and youth quality of life. Discussion: The results are discussed in the context of the resilience-risk framework and current understandings of the role of parental factors for pediatric chronic pain. 2021-06

OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to determine the effects of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment on pain, functionality, quality of life, and cartilage thickness in patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). METHODS Sixty patients with chronic knee pain were randomly separated into two groups. The first group was administered 4-ml PRP intra-articularly (IA) in three doses at one-week intervals, and the second group had only one dose of a 4-ml saline solution IA. The patients' pain was measured using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS); functionality was measured using the Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC). The distal femur cartilage thickness was assessed using ultrasonography (USG). RESULTS All baseline parameters were similar (p> 0.05). In the first and sixth months after the treatment, the VAS scores of the PRP group were significantly low (p< 0.001). In the same group, only the pain sub-score was low in the WOMAC assessment in the first month after treatment. However, in the sixth month, all parameters of the WOMAC score were lower than those of the placebo group (p< 0.05). Cartilage thickness measurements were similar in the two groups (p< 0.05). CONCLUSION PRP treatment had positive effects on the pain, physical function, and quality of life of patients with knee OA, but it did not increase cartilage thickness.

Hazır yemek hizmeti alan bireylerin yemeğin hazırlandığı, taşındığı ve hatta servis edildiği mekânların hijyeni konusunda gerekli titizliğe sahip olması ise tüketici bilinçlendirmesi ve gıda güvenliğinin yaygınlaştırılması bakımından umut verici olarak değerlendirilmiştir., This study performed to investigate the eating habits, food or menu preferences of people whose received ready-to-eat service at different age, gender, and socio-economic status, to carried out consumer’s food safety and food hygiene knowledge and also to indicate what can be done to reduce the ready-to-eat service problems. As a result of this study, valuable scientific findings were obtained as daily meal scheme and contents, menu preferences and special dietary habits of people whose received ready-to-eat service and multiple correspondence analysis were applied to find out the relations between categorical variables. The presence of people whose have required sensibility about on hygiene status of food cooking, food transfer and also food service areas evaluated as a promising approach in terms of consumer awareness and food safety dissemination.

A newly synthesized xanthate functionalized chlorinated polypropylene (PP-Xa) was used as adsorbent for the orbital shaker based on dispersive solid phase microextraction (OS-DSPME) of caffein from several tea, coffee, energy drink, coca-cola and chocolate samples using UV-vis. spectrophotometer. Synthesized PP-Xa was characterized using Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR). Various parameters like pH, PP-Xa amount, extraction time, type of eluent and its volume were optimized. Linear range, detection limit (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), relative standard deviation (RSD), recovery values, and enrichment factor (EF) were found 90–1000 μg L􀀀 1, 27.3 μg L􀀀 1, 90 μg L􀀀 1, 1.9–2.6%, 98 ± 2%, and 167, respectively. Adsorption capacity of PP-Xa was found 271.9 mg g􀀀 1. Standard addition and reference method were used for confirm the accuracy of present method.

A magnetic ionic based dispersive liquid liquid microextraction (MIL-DLLME) procedure was optimized for the analysis and extraction of cadmium in water and food samples by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS). Contribution of experimental variables were optimized through central composite design combined with response surface analysis. Under optimized conditions, the limit of detection was found 0.6 ng mL􀀀 1 with the relative standard deviation of 1.7%. Dynamic range was obtained in the concentration range of 2–700 ng mL􀀀 1 with correlation coefficient of 0.9983. Relative recoveries were ranged from 94% to 99% with enrichment factor of 172. The validation of the optimized method was successfully confirmed by reference material analysis. The optimized method allows the analysis of cadmium in water and food samples with good reliability of the determination. Compared with the conventional procedures, the method enabled a fast, green and simple determination of cadmium in the real sample with minimal solvent consumption and a higher extraction capability

A new and novel poly(vinyl benzyl dithiocarbonate-dimethyl amino ethyl methacrylate) block copolymer (Pvb-DMA-Xa) as adsorbent was synthesized for the vortex-assisted dispersive solid phase microextraction (VADSPME) of patulin from apple products and dried fruits using Uv–visible spectrophotometer. The characterization of synthesized Pvb-DMA-Xa block copolymer was performed with Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR) technique. Analytical characteristics such as pH, sorbent amount, adsorption time, eluent type and its volume, desorption time and adsorption capacity were optimized. Limit of detection (3Sb/m) and limit of quantitation (10Sb/m) were found 0.3 and 1.0 ng mL􀀀 1. Linear dynamic range (LDR), relative standard deviation (RSD) and recovery values were found in the range of 1–30 ng mL􀀀 1, 2.1–2.7 % and 93.5–97.3 %, respectively. Enhancement factor (EF) was found 193. The accuracy of the method was confirmed with standard addition method and analyzing of samples by reference method.

© 2022, Institute of Chemistry, Slovak Academy of Sciences.A new potential solid phase material called as dithizone@PAA was synthesized for first times, characterized and utilized as an easy versatile polymeric sorbent for the shake-assisted dispersive solid-phase micro-extraction of Mn(II) and Cu(II) ions from fortified vegetables and barbecue samples followed by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The proposed approach is based on batch type solid phase extraction of Mn(II) and Cu(II) ions prior to their flame atomic absorption analysis (FAAS). All experimental variables were examined and optimized in detail. Using the optimized values, the dynamic linear range for Mn(II) and Cu(II) ions was 0.70–150.00 and 0.20–125.00 ng mL−1, respectively, and the limits of detection for Mn(II) and Cu(II) ions were 0.20 and 0.06 ng mL−1, respectively. The preconcentration factor was 50 for both analytes. The relative standard deviations of 3.1% and 2.5% were obtained at 75.00 ng mL−1 level of Mn(II) and Cu(II) ions. The precision and accuracy of the proposed method were investigated by the certified reference materials via intraday and inter-day studies. Finally, the results showed that the method was successfully applied for determining Mn (II) and Cu (II) ions in selected food samples with good recoveries.

A straightforward, accurate and efficient analytical procedure was developed by ligandless sonication-assisted liquid- phases microextraction based on hydrophobic deep eutectic solvents (SA-LPME-HDES) to trace toxic Pb(II) and Cd(II) in waters and foods. Optimization of the SA-LPME-HDES procedure was carried out by Box–Behnken design. Under optimum conditions, linear ranges for Pb(II) and Cd(II) were 0.8–350 (r2:0.9962) and 1.5–500 μg L����� 1 (r2: 0.9937), respectively. Relative standard deviations (N = 5, 10 μg L����� 1) were 1.4% for Pb (II) and 1.6% for Cd(II), respectively. Limits of detection were 0.24, and 0.46 μg L����� 1, respectively. The accuracy was evaluated by the analysis of two certified reference materials and the results were to be in agreement with the certified values. The SA-LPME-HDES method was successfully applied to tap water, mineral water, river water, well-water, sesame, peanut, eggplant, corn, wheat, soy and cucumber. The SA-LPME-HDES method allows operational simplicity, green, and low cost when compared with some microextraction procedure.

Antithrombotic and anti-inflammatory impacts of statins have been studied in viral pneumonia. However, the clinical benefits of statins have not been fully explored in high-risk patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Therefore, the present study assessed the effect of statin use in hospitalized COVID-19 patients with very high cardiovascular risk. Consecutive COVID-19 patients admitted from June 1 to December 31, 2020, were analysed retrospectively. Propensity score-matched analysis was used for creating a 1:1 matched cohort. COVID-19 patients with and without statin use were compared for demographic data, comorbidities, treatments, laboratory findings and in-hospital outcomes. 707 patients (56±9.3 years old; 37% female) were included. Among those, 24.6% (n=174) received statin therapy. A propensity-matched group of 342 patients (171 receiving statins and 171 not receiving statins) was demarcated. The present study demonstrated that statin use significantly reduced in-hospital mortality within 30 days (primary end-point) in univariate (OR=0.314, 95% CI: 0.195 to 0.507) and multivariable-adjusted analysis (OR=0.348, 95% CI: 0.187 to 0.648). Among hospitalized COVID-19 patients with very high cardiovascular risk, statin use was found to be significantly associated with reduced in-hospital 30-days mortality.

The main purpose of this research article is to develop a vortex-assisted switchable hydrophilicity solvent liquid phase microextraction (VA-SHS-LPME) for the selective and efficient extraction of trace vanillin in food samples. Four switchable hydrophilicity solvents (SHSs) were prepared and tested for the extraction of vanillin. The obtained extract phase after phase separation was analyzed by UV-vis spectrophotometry. The sustainability vision that gained importance with theEuropean Green Deal, has also affected the Aluminumsector, which is considered as one of the most energy intensiveindustries in Europe. Starting from this vision,the European Union called for projects, leveraging theHorizon 2020 program, with the concept of using existingraw materials more efficiently and enabling the use ofalternative raw materials within various industrialsectors. RETROFEED is one of the projects supportedby European commission under Horizon 2020 program.Among the solutions under development for thealuminum sector there are: (1) the usage of alternative raw materials in ASAS’ aluminum melting furnaces, (2)equipment retrofitting allowing the existing resources tobe processed more energy-efficiently, and (3) the designof decision support strategies in order to use the existingraw materials for producing less waste material duringproduction. Strategical and operational decisions are made by thefactory personnel, at times causing slowdown inproduction and/or inefficient use of resources. Within thescope of the project, a Decision Support System (DSS)will be developed integrating machine learning methods,for predicting billet quality according to different rawmaterial types used in ASAŞ Aluminum MeltingFurnaces, and a furnace Digital Twin to simulate furnaceoperations under different conditions for efficiencyimprovements and production simulation. By means ofcorrelations and algorithms established as a result of thestudy, the output of the billet chemical composition, thefurnace setpoints and the production plan can beadjusted according to different inputs in 6060 aluminumalloy, in accordance with the principles of zero waste andthe new green deal guidelines.
