Sharenting, or the practice of sharing one’s parenting or information about one’s children on social media, occurs in an increasingly platformized digital culture, where visual formats are central across participatory and commercial repositories. This paper investigates the articulation between sharenting as performed by celebrities and the wider construction of children’s digital identities. Through qualitative content analysis, this research looks at how Cristiano Ronaldo, the most-followed individual on Instagram since 2018, his partner, and his mother shared information about his children on that social media platform between 2018 and 2020. Through manual exploration, we searched for Ronaldo’s children across a variety of digital spaces. Our analysis reveals that sharenting on Instagram engages audiences through the portrayal of children as the parents’ extended self. Content from Instagram and news media is appropriated in vernacular and commercial digital spaces for conflicting affects: the cute father-son dyad, and the son as extension of the uber-famous, vain father. This extreme case shows how the digital identities of children of celebrities are widely public, formed by the everyday, intimate content of the family’s life, which is persistent and collectively recreated by news media, vernacular culture, and commercial platforms. info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion

Introducao: A encefalite e uma condicao inflamatoria cerebral com multiplas etiologias. Na maioria dos casos, os agentes virais sao os principais responsaveis, mas raramente a etiologia pode ser auto-imune/paraneoplasica. A incidencia de encefalite paraneoplasica e desconhecida. As neoplasias mais frequentemente associadas a esta sindrome sao o carcinoma pulmonar, tumor testicular, neoplasia da mama, timoma e linfoma de Hodgkin. Pensa-se que o mecanismo etiopatogenico se relaciona com a producao de auto-anticorpos contra a superficie neuronal e/ou proteinas sinapticas. Dependendo do local do sistema nervoso afetado, a sintomatologia varia, sendo que, a encefalite limbica e caraterizada pelo inicio agudo de alteracoes do comportamento, humor, memoria a curto-prazo e disfuncao cognitiva. A detecao e tratamento precoces melhoram o prognostico, a rapidez da recuperacao e reduzem o risco de recaida. A ausencia de tratamento pode evoluir para um quadro neurologico debilitante, culminando em coma e morte em alguns doentes. Descricao do caso: Mulher de 50 anos, avaliada na Unidade de Saude Familiar (USF) em 2017, por alteracoes mnesicas subitas e alteracoes do comportamento. A avaliacao, apresentava apatia, anedonia e escassez de discurso, esbocando, por vezes, um riso inapropriado. Desorientacao espacial, temporal e em relacao a si propria, que evoluiu para um quadro de agressividade e nao reconhecimento dos seus familiares. A investigacao etiologica concluiu tratar-se de encefalite auto-imune/paraneoplasica, tendo a doente sido internada em Neurologia. O estudo investigacional mostrou massa no mediastino anterior, compativel com timoma. Em 2018, a doente foi submetida a exerese da neoplasia, com recuperacao do quadro neurologico. Comentario: A baixa prevalencia desta patologia e o seu diagnostico diferencial com doenca psiquiatrica tornam dificil o diagnostico desta sindrome. O medico de familia conhecendo os seus pacientes ao longo do tempo, esta numa posicao privilegiada para a detecao de sinais de alarme que carecem de investigacao e tratamento diferenciados.

O propósito deste artigo é analisar como as estratégias de comunicação interna influenciam o comprometimento organizacional dos inspetores do trabalho da Autoridade para as Condições de Trabalho. Os dados foram obtidos a partir de um inquérito por questionário aplicado a estes profissionais, através do qual discutiu-se a relação entre as variáveis da comunicação interna e do comprometimento organizacional. Concluiu-se que a comunicação interna influencia positivamente o comprometimento organizacional, sendo o antecedente mais significativo do comprometimento normativo a comunicação com o supervisor, e o do comprometimento afetivo o clima comunicacional. The purpose of this article is to examine how the internal communication strategies influence the organizational commitment of labor inspectors of Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho. Based on a survey applied to these professionals, the article argues the relationship between internal communication and organizational commitment variables. It concludes that internal communication positively influences organizational commitment, and the most significant antecedent of normative commitment is communication with the supervisor and the affective commitment the communicational environment Cet article analyse dans quelle mesure les stratégies d›organisation de la communication interne influencent l›engagement organisationnel des inspecteurs du travail de Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho. Introduction: Changes in lifestyle have been reported as one of the greatest causes of dental erosion. Nevertheless the intake of potentially erosive medication might be other important factor contributing to the rise in prevalence of this condition [1]. The increased occurrence of some chronic respiratory diseases (such as asthma), allergic states and other recurrent common conditions (as cough, cold or flu) has led to frequent medicine prescription that might be potentially erosive to the teeth [2]. This study’s goals were to compare the erosive potential of two medicines commonly prescribed for chronic respiratory diseases, and to determine the enamel capacity for remineralization after their application. Materials and methods: Ethical approval was obtained. Sixty-six human enamel samples were randomly assigned to 6 groups (n = 11): Ven (Ventilan(®)), Ven-F (Ventilan(®) with fluoride varnish), Cla (Claritine(®)), Cla-F (Claritine(®) with fluoride varnish), C (control) and C-F (control with fluoride varnish). The samples in groups Ven, Cla, and C were exposed to the respective medicines or distilled water (3x 1min/day during 5 days) followed by remineralization in artificial saliva. In groups Ven-F, Cla-F and C-F, fluoride varnish (Profluorid(®)) was applied after the medicine exposure. Two 5-day cycles were performed. The enamel surface was analyzed by magnifying stereomicroscope (prevalence of erosive lesions), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and surface hardness (SH). One-way ANOVA was used (α = 0.05) for the analysis. Results: Groups Ven and Cla revealed 93 and 66% prevalence of erosive lesions, respectively, and significant lower SH than C (p .05) (Figure 1). The two medicines showed clear evidence of enamel surface damage on SEM micrographs, with cracks, craters and enamel prisms’ exposure, being the most common features encountered (Figures 2 and 3). Discussion and conclusions: Under the conditions of this study, Claritine(®) treated samples showed lower prevalence of erosion lesions than Ventilan(®). Regarding the SH, Claritine(®) seemed to have higher erosive potential, and to hold the lowest potential for remineralization.

The Directorate General for Cultural Heritage (DGPC) is responsible for managing the inventory of listed heritage, heritage awaiting listing, as well as archaeological heritage in mainland Portugal. This primary task, that involves systematizing inventory rules and implementing a methodical and updated inventory of cultural heritage, is an essential tool for managing and safeguarding this heritage. Infection of the European eel Anguilla anguilla by the swimbladder nematode Anguilli- coloides crassus was investigated for the first time at 5 sampling sites in the Tagus estuary (Portugal). A total of 332 yellow eels were examined, revealing a prevalence of 56% and a mean intensity of 3.2 lumen worms per swimbladder. The effect of the host's sex and size on parasitism descriptors was studied. Only total length (TL) was considered a significant determinant, with larger eels harbouring a higher number of nematodes. Eels were parasitized in 4 of the 5 sampling sites, with prevalence values following the salinity gradient along the Tagus estuary. No signs of the nematode were observed in the most saline site. Variations in the intensity of infection were only apparent when a large geographic scale including a wide temperature range was considered. Although 68% of the analysed eels showed pathological damage to the swimbladder caused by the parasite, injuries were relatively reduced in comparison with other studies. No effect of the infection on the condition of the body and on liver condition was detected. However, considerable spleen enlargement was observed with increasing parasite load, which could be related to the bloodsucking activity of this nematode.

Dissertação de Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico O presente relatório com feição dissertativa intitulado A Expressão e Comunicação no Pré-Escolar e no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico tem como objetivo mostrar como uma área da Expressão e Comunicação, neste caso a Música1, serve como instrumento subsidiário para abordar as restantes áreas quer no Pré-Escolar, quer no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Optamos por este título, porque consideramos que nas nossas escolas se investe pouco nas áreas das Expressões, e pretendemos evidenciar que se deve investir na Educação pela Arte como ferramenta de trabalho quer dos Educadores, quer dos Professores. A fundamentação teórica (Capítulo I) deste mesmo relatório abarca questões como o papel da Música na educação das crianças, defendendo que é possível aprender outros conteúdos através da Música, abordando a relação que existe entre esta área e outras distintas como o Conhecimento do Mundo e a Formação Pessoal e Social (no Pré-Escolar) e a Matemática, o Português e o Estudo do Meio (no 1º Ciclo). O Capítulo II é uma abordagem científica (analítica) aos tipos de texto que foram trabalhados em sala de aula (texto literário e texto musical) como instrumento e suporte de aprendizagem. Relativamente à parte pedagógica (Capítulo III), é nosso objetivo provar e mostrar que a música associada a outras áreas, aparentemente tão diferentes, é um elemento fundamental para que as/os crianças/alunos consigam fazer aprendizagens significativas. Para além destes pontos que referimos, este documento também pretende refletir sobre as contribuições da música nestes dois ciclos de ensino. This report feature dissertation entitled The Expression and Communication in Preschool and in the 1st cycle of basic education aims to show how an area of Expression and Communication, in this case music, serves as a subsidiary tool to address the remaining areas in preschool and in the 1st cycle of basic education. We choose this title because we believe that there are low investments in our schools in the areas of Expressions, and we intend to prove that we can invest in Education through Art as a work tool by Educators or by Teachers. The theoretical foundation (Chapter I) of this same report covers issues such as the role of music in children's education, arguing that it is possible to learn other contents through Music, addressing the relationship between this area and other distinctive as the Knowledge of the World and the Personal and Social Education in (Pre- School) and Mathematics, the Portuguese Language and Environmental Studies (in 1st cycle). The Chapter II is a scientific approach (analytical) to the types of text that had been worked in the classroom (literary text and musical text) as an instrument and learning support. In respect to the pedagogical part (Chapter III), it is our goal to prove and show that music associated to other areas, apparently so different, is a key element that children/students can make meaningful learning’s. In addition to the mentioned points, this document also pretends to reflect the contributions of music on the two education cycles.
