Objectives. To analyze the effects of deep hyperthermia combined with intraperitoneal chemotherapy on liver-kidney function, immune function, and long-term survival in patients with abdominal metastases. Methods. A total of 88 patients with abdominal metastases confirmed in the hospital were enrolled as the research objects between August 2018 and August 2021. They were randomly divided into control group (n = 44) and observation group (n = 44). The control group was treated with intraperitoneal chemotherapy, while observation group was additionally treated with deep hyperthermia. The general clinical data of patients were recorded. The short-term and long-term curative effects were evaluated. The occurrence of side effects in both groups was recorded. Before and after treatment, levels of alanine transaminase (ALT) and aspartate transaminase (AST) were detected by full-automatic biochemical analyzer. The level of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) was detected by the urease electrode method. The level of serum creatinine (Scr) was detected by the picric acid method. The levels of CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, and NK cells were detected by BD FACSCalibur flow cytometer. Results. There was no significant difference in clinical data between the two groups ( P > 0.05 ). In the observation group, ORR was significantly higher than that in the control group (54.55% vs 29.55%) ( P < 0.05 ), OS was significantly longer than that in the control group ( P < 0.05 ), and median survival time and mPFS were longer than those in the control group. After treatment, the levels of ALT, AST, BUN, and Scr were significantly increased in the control group ( P < 0.05 ), but there was no significant difference in peripheral blood CD3+, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8+ ratio or count of NK cells before and after treatment ( P > 0.05 ). Before and after treatment, there was no significant difference in the levels of ALT, AST, BUN, and Scr in the observation group ( P > 0.05 ). After treatment, peripheral blood CD3+, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8+ ratio and count of NK cells were all increased in the observation group, significantly higher than those in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). The incidence of chemotherapy side effects in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. The short-term and long-term curative effects of deep hyperthermia combined with intraperitoneal chemotherapy are good on patients with intraperitoneal metastases, with less damage to liver-kidney function. It is beneficial to enhance immune function of patients, with mild side effects.

BackgroundCoiled-coil domain containing 60 (CCDC60) is a member of the CCDC family, which participates in the progression of many types of cancer. However, the prognostic value of CCDC60 in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC) and its function in tumor immunity remain unclear.MethodsCCDC60 expression and its prognostic potential in HNSC were evaluated by bioinformatics approaches, which was validated in human HNSC samples. Genetic alteration analysis of CCDC60 and the underlying biological function of CCDC60 related co-expressed genes in HNSC were analyzed. The impact of CCDC60 on the regulation of immune infiltration in HNSC was comprehensively investigated. In vitro, a series of functional assays on CCDC60 were performed in HNSC cells.ResultsOur study has indicated that compared with the adjacent normal tissues, CCDC60 expression was considerably downregulated in HNSC tissues. High CCDC60 expression was connected with favorable outcome of HNSC patients, and its prognostic significance was examined by distinct clinical characteristics. We identified the CCDC60-related co-expression genes, which were mainly enriched in the NOD-like receptor signaling pathway associated with the inhibition of tumor growth, leading to a better prognosis of HNSC patients. In vitro, CCDC60 overexpression significantly inhibited the growth, migration and invasiveness but regulated cell cycle progression, and promoted cell adhesion of Fadu and Cal27 cells. Additionally, high CCDC60 expression had strong connections with the infiltrating levels of immune cells, immune marker sets, immunomodulators and chemokines in HNSC, suggesting that targeting CCDC60 could be a promising strategy to enhance the efficacy of immunotherapy for HNSC patients.ConclusionTumor suppressor CCDC60 may be identified as a prognostic and immune-related indicator in HNSC, which had the potential functions in regulating the immune infiltration of HNSC and improving the response to immunotherapy for HNSC patients.

OBJECTIVE To describe the baseline characteristics and two-year outcomes of patients with Child-Pugh grades A and B cirrhosis; and evaluate the predictive value of liver stiffness for the development of adverse outcomes (AOs) in this patient population. STUDY DESIGN A prospective cohort study. PLACE AND DURATION OF STUDY The Second Hospital, Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University, China between September 2018 and March 2021. METHODOLOGY The present study consecutively included patients with Child-Pugh grades A and B cirrhosis. Patients were followed up every six months until two years. Baseline demographic characteristics and laboratory indexes were collected. Liver stiffness and controlled attenuation parameter were measured at baseline, month 6 and month 12. The observational endpoint was AOs, including liver-related patient death and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). RESULTS A total of 174 patients were included in the final cohort. Hepatitis B virus (HBV)-induced liver cirrhosis accounted for the vast majority of enrolled cases (82.2%). AOs were observed in six patients. Multivariate logistic regression model was performed and liver stiffness was considered as the only independent predictor for AOs (OR 1.071, p = 0.006). Background Dietary bamboo leaf flavonoids (BLFs) are rarely used in poultry production, and it is unknown whether they influence meat texture profile, perceived color, or microstructure. Results A total of 720 one-day-old Arbor Acres broilers were supplemented with a basal diet with 20 mg bacitracin/kg, 50 mg BLFs/kg, or 250 mg BLFs/kg or without additions. The Xiaokele Cu (–Mo) deposit is a recently discovered porphyry deposit in the northern Great Xing’an Range (GXR) of northeast China. The ore bodies in this deposit are mainly hosted within granodiorite porphyry intrusions. Potassic, phyllic, and propylitic alteration zones develop from center to edge. In this paper, we present zircon LA–ICP–MS U–Pb ages, zircon Hf isotopic compositions, and whole-rock geochemistry of the ore-bearing granodiorite porphyries from the Xiaokele Cu (–Mo) deposit. Zircon U–Pb dating suggests that the Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries were emplaced at 148.8 ± 1.1 Ma (weighted-mean age; n = 14). The Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries display high SiO2, Al2O3, Sr, and Sr/Y, low K2O/Na2O, MgO, Yb, and Y, belonging to high-SiO2 adakites produced by partial melting of the subducted oceanic slab. Marine sediments were involved in the magma source of the Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries, as indicated by enriched Sr–Nd isotopic compositions (eNd(t) = − 1.17– − 0.27), low positive zircon eHf(t) values (0.4–2.2), and high Th contents (4.06–5.20). The adakitic magma subsequently interacted with the mantle peridotites during ascent through the mantle wedge. The Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries were derived from slab melting during the southward subduction of the Mongol–Okhotsk Ocean.

Hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HSCC) is a kind of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) with poor prognosis. Metabolic reprogramming may regulate the tumor microenvironment (TME) by adapting quickly to cellular stress and regulating immune response, but its role in HSCC has not been reported. We used the nCounter® Metabolic Pathways Panel to investigate metabolic reprogramming, cellular stress, and their relationship in HSCC tissues and adjacent normal tissues. Metabolism-related pathways nucleotide synthesis and glycolysis pathways were significantly upregulated, while amino acid synthesis and fatty acid oxidation pathways were significantly downregulated in HSCC tissues compared to adjacent normal tissues. There is a significant correlation between metabolism-related pathways and cellular stress pathways. Enrichment of immune cell and tumor infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) analysis showed changes in immune responses between HSCC tissues and adjacent normal tissues. Overall survival analysis showed that upregulated genes CD276, LDHB, SLC3A2, EGFR, SLC7A5, and HPRT1 are potential unfavorable prognostic markers in HNSCC, while downregulated genes EEA1, IDO1, NCOA2, REST, CCL19, and ALDH2 are potential favorable prognostic markers in HNSCC. Moreover, metabolism-related genes IDO1, ALDH2, NCOA2, SLC7A5, SLC3A2, LDHB, and HPRT1 are correlated with immune infiltrates in HNSCC. These results suggest that metabolic reprogramming occurs and correlates with cellular stress and immune response in HSCC, which may help researchers understand mechanisms of metabolic reprogramming and develop effective immunotherapeutic strategies in HNSCC.

The structure of basic lanthanum orotate (LaOr) were characterized by elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy. The thermal stability of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) was further studied by Congo red method, oven discoloration method and thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed that LaOr could prolong the oven discoloration time of PVC, and the color was not completely blackened until 120 min. It has a good synergetic effect with dibenzoyl methane (DBM), and the best effect is achieved when LaOr/DBM ratio is 1.8/1.2. The thermal decomposition kinetics experiment showed that adding DBM can effectively improve the activation energy of PVC/LaOr. The stabilization mechanism of PVC was studied by absorbing HCl method and infrared spectroscopy. The results showed that LaOr could not only replace the unstable chlorine atoms on PVC, but also promote the long-term thermal stability of PVC by absorbing HCl.

The Paleoproterozoic Jiao-Liao-Ji Orogenic Belt is a part of the Eastern Block, North China Craton. The Shuangcha rock mass has been recently recognized in Laohe group of Jiao-Liao-Ji Orogenic Belt, and it consists of mainly porphyritic monzonitic granite and porphyritic K-feldspar granite. We present detailed studies of petrography, geochronology and geochemistry of Shuangcha rock mass to constrain the petrogenesis and tectonic evolution features of the Jiao-Liao-Ji Orogenic Belt. The mineral of the Shuangcha granite consists of K-feldspar, plagioclase, quartz and a small amount of biotite ( 350 ppm) and 10,000Ga/Al ratios (average 2.69), which are typical features of A-type granite. The Shuangcha A-type granites can be further subdivided into A2-type subgroup based on some geochemical features, such as high Y/Nb ratios (0.99~3.14, average 1.84). Petrographic and geochemical studies have shown that the Shuangcha granites were the product of partial melting of quartzo-feldspathic rocks under a high temperature (>899°C), low pressure and anhydrous environment. Based on geochemical studies of Shuangcha granites, spatial and temporal distributions of regional magmatism and metamorphism records, the Jiao-Liao-Ji Orogenic Belt was in a typical post-collision extension setting in late Paleoproterozoic period (1.82~1.88 Ga) probably triggered by the slab breaks off.

To develop novel 2-cyanoacrylate derivatives with potential bioactivity, a number of 2-cyanoacrylate compounds, including substituted pyrazole or 1,2,3-triazole ring, were designed, prepared, and structurally detected by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and elemental analysis. The biological assessment displayed that some designed compounds had significant herbicidal activities against Brassica juncea, Chenopodium serotinum, Rumex acetosa, Alopecurus aequalis, Polypogon fugax, and Poa annua at a dosage of 1500 g/ha. Furthermore, some derivatives still expressed satisfactory herbicidal activities against Brassica juncea, Chenopodium serotinum, and Rumex acetosa when the dosage was lowered to 150 g/ha, especially the inhibitory effects of compounds 9a, 9d, 9f, 9i, 10a, 10b, 10e, and 10n against Brassica juncea were all over 80%, compounds 9d, 9f, 9g, 9h, 9i, 10h, 10i, 10m, 10n, and 10o possessed more than 70% inhibition rates against Chenopodium serotinum, and compound 9d indicated 70% herbicidal activity against Rumex acetosa. These results provided an important basis for further design and discovery of biologically active 2-cyanoacrylate compounds.

Offshore wind turbines will be developed from shallow water to deep water to meet the rapid growth of wind power generation. Floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT) faces complex load challenges, which endanger its safety and service life. Hence, it is urgent to develop a novel damping device to improve the stability of FOWT. In this paper, a novel extended tuned mass damper (ETMD) is proposed. On this basis, a linear quadratic regulator is added to realize the design and simulation of the extended active tuned mass damper (EATMD) control system to reduce the surge response of FOWT. Numerical analysis shows that under the control of ETMD, the surge response of the tower is reduced by 73%, and the frequency modulation width is increased by 55%. Here, under the control of EATMD, the displacement, velocity, and acceleration of the surge response of the tower are decreased by 47.0%, 30.7%, and 24.2%, respectively.

New petrological, whole-rock geochemical, zircon U–Pb geochronological, and zircon Lu–Hf isotopic data have been reported for Early Cretaceous intrusive rocks in the Wulong region of the Liaodong Peninsula on the North China Craton. The zircon U-Pb chronology shows that the crystallization age of six groups of intrusive rocks from this region is 129–123 Myr ago. These intrusive rocks can be categorized into A-type granite (granodiorite), K-rich adakite (porphyritic-like monzogranite), highly fractionated I-type granites (porphyritic-like biotite monzogranite, porphyritic-like syenogranite, and syenogranite), and gabbro. These granitoids are shown to have negative zircon eHf(t) values(-21.0 to -11.1) with old two-stage Hf model ages (TDM2(Hf)) (1.88–2.50 Ga), while gabbro has higher zircon eHf(t) values(-14.3 to -9.4) with younger TDM2(Hf) (1.77–2.08 Ga) model ages. According to our results, we believe that the porphyritic-like monzogranite was produced through partial melting of the thickened eclogitic lower crust, the gabbro was generated by partial melting of a source formed by the mixing of enriched lithospheric mantle and delaminated eclogitic lower crust, the granodiorite was formed by mixing crust materials and mafic melts, the porphyritic-like biotite monzogranite, porphyritic-like syenogranite, and syenogranite originated from the medium- to high-K basaltic lower crust. The bimodal intrusive rocks (gabbro, porphyritic-like monzogranite, and porphyritic-like biotite monzogranite) and A-type granites (granodiorite) were emplaced in an extensional setting associated with Paleo-Pacific Plate subduction. We also determined that the tectonic setting changed from extension to transpression during 125–120 Myr ago (porphyritic-like syenogranite and syenogranite). Moreover, we confirmed the hypothesis that the Early Cretaceous delamination is the result of Paleo-Pacific Plate subduction.

The tectonic setting of Jurassic magmatism in the Northeast China (NE China) is unclear. Here, we present new petrological, whole-rock geochemical, zircon U-Pb geochronological, and zircon Lu-Hf isotope data for Jurassic granitoids of the Wulong region, Liaodong Peninsula, NE China. Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) zircon U-Pb data indicate that these granitoids were emplaced at 165–156 Ma. The biotite monzogranite, two-mica monzogranite, monzogranite, granodiorite, biotite granodiorite, and syenogranite are strongly peraluminous (A/CNK=1.09–1.29), contain peraluminous minerals such as muscovite, have high normative corundum abundances (1.26 wt.%–3.28 wt.%), and have high K2O/Na2O ratios (0.76–1.48), all of which indicate an S-type granite affinity. However, the biotite granodiorite and syenogranite have high Sr (391 ppm–570 ppm) and low Y (3.06 ppm–5.94 ppm) contents, with high Sr/Y (65.8–185.9) ratios, and the two-mica monzogranite, monzogranite, and granodiorite have relatively high Sr (138 ppm–379 ppm) and low Y (3.38 ppm–8.71 ppm) contents, with high Sr/Y ratios (19.1–77.9). All of the analyzed samples have negative zircon eHf(t) values (−41.4 to −20.6) with old two-stage Hf model ages (TDM2(Hf)=2.50–3.76 Ga). Therefore, we infer that the biotite monzogranite is the typical feature of S-type granite that was derived by partial melting of metagraywacke. The monzogranite, two-mica monzogranite, granodiorite, biotite granodiorite, and syenogranite exhibit geochemical characteristics of S-type granite with K-rich adakitic features, and were possibly derived by mixing of melts from clastic crustal materials and adakitic magmas. There are voluminous Jurassic igneous rocks in the NE China. By combining our study with the previous researches, this paper infers that the Jurassic magmatism within the Erguna-Xing’an Massif was related to the southward subduction and closure of the Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean; the Early Jurassic magmatism to the east of the Songliao Basin and in the northern North China Craton (NCC) was related to the subduction of the Pacific Plate; however, the Middle-Late Jurassic igneous rocks to the west of the Songliao Basin were related to the closure of the Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean and, in the northern NCC, were related to closure of the Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean with an influence from flat-slab subduction of the Pacific Plate.

Geodynamic evolution in the late Paleozoic is significant for understanding the final amalgamation of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB). No consensus has yet been reached regarding the late Paleozoic geodynamic evolution of the northern Great Xing’an Range (GXR) in northeastern China, the eastern CAOB. Furthermore, late Paleozoic syenogranite–diabase dyke association is present in the Xiaokele area in northern GXR. It provides an important opportunity to understand the nature of magmatism and the geodynamic evolution during this period. This paper presents new zircon U–Pb ages, zircon Hf isotopic compositions, and geochemical data of whole rocks for Xiaokele syenogranite and diabase. Zircon U–Pb dating suggests that the Xiaokele syenogranite (292.5 ± 0.9 Ma) and diabase (298.3 ± 1.5 Ma) were emplaced during the early Permian. The Xiaokele syenogranites have high SiO2 contents, low MgO contents, and enriched zircon εHf(t) values, suggesting that their primary magma was generated by the partial melting of the juvenile crustal material. The Xiaokele diabases have low SiO2 contents, high MgO contents, are enriched in large-ion lithophile elements, depleted in high-field-strength elements, and exhibit enriched zircon εHf(t) values. They derived from a lithospheric mantle source that had previously been metasomatized by slab-derived fluids. Combined with previous research results, we believe that the continent–continent collision between the Xing’an and Songliao blocks occurred during the late early Carboniferous – early late Carboniferous (330–310 Ma), and the two blocks were transformed into a post-collisional extensional setting during the latest Carboniferous – early Permian.

Background A One Health approach has been increasingly mainstreamed by the international community, as it provides the holistic thinking in recognizing the close links and inter-dependence of the health of humans, animals and the environment. The dearth of real-world evidence has hampered application of a One Health approach in shaping policies and practice. A consolidated evaluation tool is urgently needed for valid assessment of One Health approaches. Methods We develop the Global One Health Index (GoHi) by five steps, including framework formulation, indicator selection, database building, weight determination and GoHi scores calculation. A Cell-like Framework for GoHi is proposed, which comprises an External Driver Index (EDI), an Intrinsic Driver Index (IDI) and a Core Driver Index (CDI). We construct the indicator scheme for GoHi based on this framework after multiple rounds of panel discussions with our Expert Advisory Committee. A Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is adopted to determine the weights for indicators. Results The weighted indicator scheme of GoHi comprises 3 first-level indicators, 13 second-level indicators, and 57 third-level indicators. The results from a pilot analysis are consistent with the results from a literature review, which suggests the feasibility of GoHi as a tool for the assessment of global One Health performance. GoHi is the world’s first evaluation tool that constructs the conceptual framework from a holistic perspective of One Health, and captures the data from more than 200 countries/ territories for empirical analysis. The application of GoHi will promote a common understanding of a strong One Health approach and provide a means for identifying gaps and promoting effective measures to strengthen One Health capacity building. Conclusions We propose GoHi as a potential systematic evaluation tool for global One Health approaches. With further adaptations in various scenarios, GoHi along with its technical protocols and databases, will be updated regularly to address current technical limitations, and capture new knowledge. Meanwhile, stronger political endorsement and facilitation are essential for the development of One Health policies, practice and research.

This paper constructs a model of collaborative innovation among technology, institution and financeto measure the synergy degree of 29 provinces and cities. Official provincial-level panel data from 2011-2017for 29 provinces are utilized. We find that there is a great difference in the synergy degree among differentregions because of the uneven distribution of financial resources in the region. Then the synergy degree of 29provinces and cities in China is regarded as an important variable in the fixed-effects model. The primaryfinding is that the degree of collaborative innovation among technology, institution and finance can positivelyaffect China’s economic growth. If the degree of collaborative innovation increase by 1%, and the GDP percapita will also increase by about 0.009%-0.016%. However, the domestic loan index of real estate enterpriseshas a negative impact on the per capita GDP. Then we get the conclusion that collaborative innovation will beeffective for China’s high-quality economic growth and suggest that government should use macro control toreduce capital’s preference for real estate investment especially by strengthening direct financial innovation tosupport technological innovation.

The Xiarihamu Cu–Ni sulfide deposit is the second-largest Cu–Ni deposit in China, located in the Eastern Kunlun orogenic belt. However, despite previous study, the formation and evolution of this deposit remains a key unknown in the tectonic evolution of the Eastern Kunlun Orogenic Belt. Moreover, the petrogenesis of the ore-bearing rocks and the nature of ore genesis are the subjects of ongoing debate. Here, we present detailed field observations, petrology, zircon U–Pb geochronology, and Re–Os isotopic analyses to constrain the timing and genesis of the Xiarihamu Cu–Ni sulfide deposit. Sulfides from the massive ores yielded a Re–Os isotopic isochron age of 408 ± 11 Ma. Four samples from the ore-bearing Xiarihamu mafic–ultramafic intrusions yielded zircon U–Pb ages of 423.1 ± 2 Ma, 422.9 ± 3.1 Ma, 422.7 ± 2.3 Ma, and 422.6 ± 2.7 Ma, respectively, indicating that the ore formed during the Silurian. The calculated initial 187Os/188Os ratio and γOs values ranged from 0.5109 to 0.8499 and from 311 to 584, respectively, indicating that crustal contamination played an extremely important role in triggering sulfide saturation. In combination with previous research, drill core observations and Re–Os data provide robust evidence for multiple pulses of magma replenishment throughout the process of ore genesis. Based on this evidence, the large-scale magmatic Cu–Ni mineralization in Xiarihamu likely occurred in a post-collisional setting related to tectonic slab breakoff.

Triassic granitic magmatism is widespread in the Eastern Kunlun Orogenic Belt (EKOB), northern Tibetan Plateau. Some of the granitoids are characterized by high Sr and low Y contents, and consequently high Sr/Y ratios. These high Sr/Y-ratio granitoids are often interpreted as adakitic rocks, originating from the thickened continental lower crust. However, studies have shown that granitoids with high Sr/Y ratios may have formed via other geological processes. This paper reports U–Pb ages, geochemical and Sr–Nd–Hf isotopic data for newly discovered granodiorite porphyries in the Kunlun River area of the Eastern Kunlun Orogenic Belt, and discusses whether the EKOB experienced crustal thickening during the Triassic. The granodiorite porphyries crystallized at 205 Ma. They have some adakitic characteristics with SiO2 = 66.96–69.68 wt.%, Sr/Y ratios = 31–43, La/Yb = 26.9–57.9, Y = 8.47–11.3, Yb = 0.75–1.30, and MgO = 0.44–0.99 wt.%. However, the relatively flat heavy rare earth element patterns indicate that garnet was not the main residue in the magma source. In addition, combined with Nd–Hf isotopic data, these results indicate that the timing of the original generation of the crustal sources of the granodiorites should be Mesoproterozoic, with the involvement of older (Paleoproterozoic) components. The granodiorite porphyries were emplaced in a post-collisional environment after the northward subduction of Paleo-Tethyan oceanic lithosphere, and without thickening of the continental crust.

The Zhanbuzhale region, in the Eastern Kunlun Orogen of northwestern China, is characterized by large volumes of Phanerozoic granitoid rocks and is an ideal region for investigating the tectonic evolution of the Paleo-Tethys system. However, the exact timing of the final closure of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean and initial continental collision remains controversial because of a lack of precise geochronological and detailed geochemical data. In this paper, we report new zircon U–Pb ages and mineralogical, petrographic, and geochemical data for samples of Middle Triassic granodiorite and alkali feldspar granite from the Zhanbuzhale region. The zircon U–Pb ages indicate that the granodiorite and alkali feldspar granite formed at 239 and 236 Ma, respectively. The granodiorites are high-K calc-alkaline, metaluminous, high Sr content, high Sr/Y ratios, low Y content, and show adakite-like affinities. The alkali feldspar granites display high SiO2, extremely low MgO, and low Zr+Nb+Ce+Y contents as well as low Fe2O3t/MgO ratios, showing metaluminous to peraluminous and high-K calc-alkaline features. Geochemical and petrological characteristics of the alkali feldspar granites suggest that they are highly fractionated I-type granites. The granodiorites and alkali feldspar granites have zircon εHf(t) values ranging from –2.26 to –0.18, and from –2.17 to +2.18, respectively. Together with regional geological data, we propose that the Triassic (approximately 239–236 Ma) granitoids were generated during the later stages of northward subduction of the Paleo-Tethys oceanic plate, and that the initial stage of collision between the East Kunlun and the Bayan Har–Songpan Ganzi terrane occurred at approximately 236–227 Ma.

The aim of the study was to explore the role of the E3 ubiquitin ligase MARCH7 in the development of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and to explore the underlying molecular mechanism.Western blot and immunohistochemistry results showed that the expression of MARCH7 in NSCLC cancer tissues was higher than that in paracancerous tissues. Tissue microarray staining results and clinicopathological parameters of NSCLC patients revealed that MARCH7 expression was closely related to TNM stage, degree of tumor differentiation and lymph node metastasis of NSCLC patients. Furthermore, univariate and multivariate analyses and survival curve analysis showed that high expression of MARCH7 was associated with poor prognosis.In vitro, siRNA was constructed and transfected into A549 cells to inhibit the expression of MARCH7. The CCK-8 assay indicated that the growth rate of tumor cells in the interference group was reduced. The number of colonies and cells in the interference group decreased in the plate clone formation experiment. Flow cytometry showed that G0/G1 phase cells were predominantly increased after blocking endogenous MARCH7 expression, and G0/G1 phase arrest occurred in A549 cells. The reporter gene activity of the NF-κB signaling pathway and Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway was reduced, as validated by a double luciferase reporter gene assay. Western blot analysis showed that the expression of NF-κB P50, NF-κB P65 and β-catenin was decreased, while the expression of E-cadherin was elevated.In vivo, MARCH7-overexpressing virus was constructed and transfected into A549 cells and then subcutaneously injected into nude mice. It was demonstrated that the tumor volume was significantly larger in the MARCH7 overexpression group than in the control nude mice during the same period. Elevated expression of PCNA and Ki-67 was observed in the tumor mass of the MARCH7 overexpression group, as measured by immunohistochemical analysis, accompanied by enhanced levels of NF-κB P50, NF-κB P65 and β-catenin, as detected by Western blot. These results provide a new idea for the experimental basis for the treatment of NSCLC in the future.

In this paper, we consider the problem in defocus image deblurring. Previous classical methods follow two-steps approaches, i.e., first defocus map estimation and then the non-blind deblurring. In the era of deep learning, some researchers have tried to address these two problems by CNN. However, the simple concatenation of defocus map, which represents the blur level, leads to suboptimal performance. Considering the spatial variant property of the defocus blur and the blur level indicated in the defocus map, we employ the defocus map as conditional guidance to adjust the features from the input blurring images instead of simple concatenation. Then we propose a simple but effective network with spatial modulation based on the defocus map. To achieve this, we design a network consisting of three sub-networks, including the defocus map estimation network, a condition network that encodes the defocus map into condition features, and the defocus deblurring network that performs spatially dynamic modulation based on the condition features. Moreover, the spatially dynamic modulation is based on an affine transform function to adjust the features from the input blurry images. Experimental results show that our method can achieve better quantitative and qualitative evaluation performance than the existing state-of-the-art methods on the commonly used public test datasets.

Low-cost autonomous agents including autonomous driving vehicles chiefly adopt monocular 3D object detection to perceive surrounding environment. This paper studies 3D intermediate representation methods which generate intermediate 3D features for subsequent tasks. For example, the 3D features can be taken as input for not only detection, but also end-to-end prediction and/or planning that require a bird's-eye-view feature representation. In the study, we found that in generating 3D representation previous methods do not maintain the consistency between the objects' implicit poses in the latent space, especially orientations, and the explicitly observed poses in the Euclidean space, which can substantially hurt model performance. To tackle this problem, we present a novel monocular detection method, the first one being aware of the poses to purposefully guarantee that they are consistent between the implicit and explicit features. Additionally, we introduce a local ray attention mechanism to efficiently transform image features to voxels at accurate 3D locations. Thirdly, we propose a handcrafted Gaussian positional encoding function, which outperforms the sinusoidal encoding function while retaining the benefit of being continuous. Results show that our method improves the state-of-the-art 3D intermediate representation method by 3.15%. This paper describes our system, which placed third in the Multilingual Track (subtask 11), fourth in the Code-Mixed Track (subtask 12), and seventh in the Chinese Track (subtask 9) in the SemEval 2022 Task 11: MultiCoNER Multilingual Complex Named Entity Recognition. Our system's key contributions are as follows: 1) For multilingual NER tasks, we offer an unified framework with which one can easily execute single-language or multilingual NER tasks, 2) for low-resource code-mixed NER task, one can easily enhance his or her dataset through implementing several simple data augmentation methods and 3) for Chinese tasks, we propose a model that can capture Chinese lexical semantic, lexical border, and lexical graph structural information. Finally, our system achieves macro-f1 scores of 77.66, 84.35, and 74.00 on subtasks 11, 12, and 9, respectively, during the testing phase.

High dynamic range (HDR) imaging is an important task in image processing that aims to generate well-exposed images in scenes with varying illumination. Although existing multi-exposure fusion methods have achieved impressive results, generating high-quality HDR images in dynamic scenes is still difficult. The primary challenges are ghosting artifacts caused by object motion between low dynamic range images and distorted content in under and overexposed regions. In this paper, we propose a deep progressive feature aggregation network for improving HDR imaging quality in dynamic scenes. To address the issues of object motion, our method implicitly samples high-correspondence features and aggregates them in a coarse-to-fine manner for alignment. In addition, our method adopts a densely connected network structure based on the discrete wavelet transform, which aims to decompose the input features into multiple frequency subbands and adaptively restore corrupted contents. Experiments show that our proposed method can achieve state-of-the-art performance under different scenes, compared to other promising HDR imaging methods. Specifically, the HDR images generated by our method contain cleaner and more detailed content, with fewer distortions, leading to better visual quality.

Petrology, whole-rock geochemistry, in situ zircon U–Pb ages, and Lu–Hf isotopic data are reported for granodiorite and monzonitic granite samples from the Harizha Region in the eastern section of the East Kunlun Orogenic Belt. The results of the LA-ICP-MS zircon dating indicate that the granodiorite and monzonitic granite were emplaced at 447.9 ± 3.0 Ma and 443.8 ± 3.5 Ma, respectively, i.e., in the Late Ordovician–Early Paleozoic periods. The granodiorite is characterized by relatively high MgO (4.52–5.91 wt%), Sr (541–712 ppm), Cr (218–357 ppm), Ni (56.7–80.7 ppm) and V (66.8–94.7 ppm), with low Y (10.40–13.60 ppm) and Yb (1.05–1.45) contents. This results in elevated Mg# (65–68), Sr/Y (39.78–58.84), and (La/Yb)N (10.21–18.30) ratios, common features for adakitic high-Mg andesite (HMA). The granodiorite is metaluminous to weakly peraluminous and high-K calc-alkaline in composition. In addition, the granodiorite is enriched in light rare-earth elements (LREE) and large ion lithophile elements (LILEs, Rb, K, Sr, and Pb) U, and Nd; and depleted in high-field strength elements (HFSEs, Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf, Ti) and P. The zircon grains from the granodiorites have eHf(t) values of − 5.5 to + 4.7, with two-stage Hf model ages (tDM2) ranging from 0.92 to 1.71 Ga. These features suggest that the granodiorites were formed by mixing processes of crustal melts and magma from a metasomatized mantle in a subduction setting. The monzonitic granite possesses high normative corundum values (2.34–4.10 wt%), is strongly peraluminous (A/CNK ratios of 1.16–1.32, with minor mineral muscovite), with high-K calc-alkaline affinity. Furthermore, enrichments in large ion lithophile elements (Rb, K, and Pb), U, Th, and Nd, depletions in high-field strength elements (Nb, Ta, and Ti) and Ba and P, and mainly right-inclined REE patterns with negative Eu anomalies, exhibits an S-type granite affinity. The magmatic zircons from the monzonitic granite yielded eHf(t) values between − 4.9 and − 2.7, corresponding to two-stage Hf model ages of 1.60–1.73 Ga. Therefore, this study suggests that the monzonitic granite magma was derived from crustal material (metagreywacke) in a syn-collision setting. Subsequently, by combining these findings with the previous research results, this study propose that a transverse diachronism closure model which entailed an “earlier on the sides–later in the middle” in an East–West direction in the East Kunlun Orogenic Belt for the Proto-Tethys Ocean’s evolution process.

Hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HSCC) accounts 95% of hypopharyngeal cancer, which is characterized by high early metastasis rate and poor prognosis. It is reported that circular RNA is involved in the occurrence and development of cancer; however, the role of circRNA in hypopharyngeal cancer has little been investigated. We performed hypopharyngeal carcinoma circRNA microarray and qRT-PCR verification. The results showed circ_0058106 expression level was significantly upregulated in tumor tissues than in corresponding normal tissues. We found that circ_0058106 upregulation promoted proliferation, migration and invasion of HSCC cells, while knockdown of circ_0058106 inhibited proliferation, migration and invasion of HSCC cells both in vitro and in vivo. Bioinformatics predicted circ_0058106 may interact with miR-185-3p. We verified circ_0058106 directly bound miR-185-3p and downregulated miR-185-3p expression by using dual-luciferase reporter assay and qRT-PCR. Moreover, we proved circ_0058106 promoted HSCC cells tumorigenesis and EMT process by regulating Wnt2b/β-catenin/c-Myc pathway via miR-185-3p. In conclusion, our findings firstly confirmed the carcinogenic effect of circ_0058106 in promoting HSCC cells tumorigenesis, metastasis, invasion and EMT process by regulating Wnt2b/β-catenin/c-Myc pathway through sponging miR-185-3p, indicating that circ_0058106 may be a new therapeutic target and prognostic marker for HSCC.

Purpose: To reviewed our measures and other experiences associated with the treatment of glaucoma patients during the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak . Methods: Measures consistent with the clinical situation and the type of glaucoma were implemented in each case. Results: Consultation for treatment was provided through a WeChat glaucoma patient group. In our survey, 58.5%patients indicated an increase in negative emotions during the outbreak, and psychological counseling was provided frequently. Difficulties in purchasing eye drops were reported by 79.2% of glaucoma patients, so an online medicine supply system was set up and eyedrops from the pharmacy or hospital pharmacy were mailed to the patients. Phacoemulsification with goniosynechialysis was performed in7acute primary angle-closure glaucomapatients (11eyes) who experienced sustained high IOP(onset time, 12-65d). The IOP decreased significantly after the operation(t=7.895，PConclusion: Effective measures can relieve thepsychological pressure and intraocular symptoms in glaucoma patientsin epidemic outbreak areas.
