Abstract During the restoration of iron cultural relics, the removal of rust from these artifacts is necessary. However, this rust removal process may lead to inconsistent local color on the iron relics. To address this, mending materials are applied to treat the surface, ensuring consistent local color. In the surface treatment of iron cultural relics, a significant challenge lies in modulating the color of these mending materials. The corrosion products of Yuquan Iron Pagoda are mainly Fe3O4, γ-FeO(OH), α-FeO(OH) and α-Fe2O3, with contents of 13.1, 16.1, 40.2 and 30.6%, respectively. Due to their structural stability and suitable color characteristics, Fe3O4 and α-Fe2O3 are selected as the primary raw materials for the repair material. This study employs machine learning methods to predict the color of mending materials corresponding to varying contents of α-Fe2O3, Fe3O4, and epoxy resin. The Artificial Neural Network (ANN), eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), and Light Gradient Boost Machine (LightGBM) algorithms are utilized to develop the model, and the predictive performance of these three algorithms is compared. XGBoost exhibits the best prediction performance, achieving a square correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.94238 and a mean absolute error (MAE) of 0.68485. Additionally, the SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) method is employed to analyze the most crucial raw material affecting the color of mending materials, which is identified as Fe3O4. The study illustrates the specific process of employing this model by applying it to the surface treatment of the Yuquan Iron Pagoda, demonstrating the practicality of the model. This model can be applied to assist in the surface treatment of other iron cultural relics.

Abstract Purpose QT interval prolongation is one of the most common electrocardiographic (ECG) abnormalities in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH). Whether corrected QT interval (QTc) prolongation is associated with perioperative cardiac events and dismal neurological outcome in mid to long-term follow-up in patients after aSAH is insufficiently studied and remains controversial. Methods We retrospectively studied the adult (≥ 18 years) patients admitted to our institution between Jan 2018 and Dec 2020 for aSAH who underwent intracranial aneurysm clipping or embolization. The patients were divided into 2 groups (normal and QTc prolongation groups) according to their QTc. To minimize the confounding bias, a propensity score matching (PSM) analysis was performed to compare the neurologic outcomes between patients with normal QTc and QTc prolongation. Results After screening, 908 patients were finally included. The patients were divided into 2 groups: normal QTc groups (n = 714) and long QTc group (n = 194). Female sex, hypokalemia, posterior circulation aneurysm, and higher Hunt-Hess grade were associated with QTc prolongation. In multiple regression analysis, older age, higher hemoglobin level, posterior circulation aneurysm, and higher Hunt-Hess grade were identified to be associated with worse outcome during 1-year follow-up. Before PSM, patients with QTc prolongation had higher rate of perioperative cardiac arrest or ventricular arrhythmias. After PSM, there was no statistical difference between normal and QTc prolongation groups in perioperative cardiac events. However, patients in the QTc prolongation group still had worse neurologic outcome during 1-year follow-up. Conclusions QTc prolongation is associated with worse outcome in patients following SAH, which is independent of perioperative cardiac events.

Abstract Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is increasingly being used in treatment planning due to its superior soft tissue contrast, which is useful for tumor and soft tissue delineation compared to computed tomography (CT). However, MRI cannot directly provide mass density or relative stopping power (RSP) maps, which are required for calculating proton radiotherapy doses. Therefore, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into MRI-based treatment planning to estimate mass density and RSP directly from MRI has generated significant interest. A deep learning (DL) based framework was developed to establish a voxel-wise correlation between MR images and mass density as well as RSP. To facilitate the study, five tissue substitute phantoms were created, representing different tissues such as skin, muscle, adipose tissue, 45% hydroxyapatite (HA), and spongiosa bone. The composition of these phantoms was based on information from ICRP reports. Additionally, two animal tissue phantoms, simulating pig brain and liver, were prepared for DL training purposes. The phantom study involved the development of two DL models. The first model utilized clinical T1 and T2 MRI scans as input, while the second model incorporated zero echo time (ZTE) MRI scans. In the patient application study, two more DL models were trained: one using T1 and T2 MRI scans as input, and another model incorporating synthetic dual-energy computed tomography (sDECT) images to provide accurate bone tissue information. The DECT empirical model was used as a reference to evaluate the proposed models in both phantom and patient application studies. In the phantom study, the DL model based on T1, and T2 MRI scans demonstrated higher accuracy in estimating mass density and RSP for skin, muscle, adipose tissue, brain, and liver. The mean absolute percentage errors (MAPE) were 0.42%, 0.14%, 0.19%, 0.78%, and 0.26% for mass density, and 0.30%, 0.11%, 0.16%, 0.61%, and 0.23% for RSP, respectively. The DL model incorporating ZTE MRI further improved the accuracy of mass density and RSP estimation for 45% HA and spongiosa bone, with MAPE values of 0.23% and 0.09% for mass density, and 0.19% and 0.07% for RSP, respectively. These results demonstrate the feasibility of using an MRI-only approach combined with DL methods for mass density and RSP estimation in proton therapy treatment planning. By employing this approach, it is possible to obtain the necessary information for proton radiotherapy directly from MRI scans, eliminating the need for additional imaging modalities.

In the acoustic signal receiving section of underwater vehicle, an effective measure to improve surface acoustic impedance and reduce signal attenuation is to cover acoustic barrier plate of hydrophone array with high impedance material (signal conditioning plate). Compared with traditional full coverage mode, an acoustic grating (periodic installation of regulator plate array) can greatly improve the received signal gain and reduce the weight of the receiving segment. In order to deeply understand the signal enhancement mechanism and optimize the design of acoustic grating, the factors that influence the signal enhancement performance of acoustic grating from the aspects of width, thickness, incident angle and structure width ratio is studied. Simulation results show that the oblique incidence will change the symmetrical distribution of signal ratio (SR), but will not significantly change the acoustic performance of the structure. Wider and thicker regulating plate lead to stronger non-mirror scattering and better signal enhancement performance of structure. In practical application, geometric parameters of acoustic grating should be reasonably designed to meet multiple constraints of real environment to achieve optimal overall performance. In addition, the moderate width ratio can obtain a good overall acoustic performance.

Breast cancer, as a malignant tumor threatening the survival of women in China, its incidence rate is increasing year by year and showing a younger trend, control of cancer cell proliferation, invasion, metastasis is the focus and difficulty of treatment. DEAD-box polypeptide 5 (DDX5), a processing factor regulating RNA biological function, is a multi-dimensional functional protein involved in regulating RNA splicing, ribosome biological function, transcription and translation. It can promote the proliferation, invasion and metastasis of breast cancer through gene amplification, activation of carcinogens, enhancement of epithelial mesenchymal transformation, and reorganization of cytoskeleton. It can also be used as a marker of prognosis and recurrence of breast cancer. This article reviews the role of DDX5 in promoting the proliferation, invasion and metastasis of breast cancer, its significance in the classification, prognosis and recurrence of breast cancer, and the clinical reports of existing Chinese medicine intervention DDX5 on breast cancer, which can provide a new perspective for the exploration of the etiology of breast cancer and new targeted therapy ideas.

Sound field reproduction is a method that uses multiple secondary sound sources to reproduce a predefined desired sound field in a listening area. The configuration of the secondary sound sources is a key factor affecting the reproduction performances. To optimize the secondary source configuration, this study proposes a new method that combines the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization method with the group Lasso method, which is called GSO-GL method. Firstly, it selects a certain number of the secondary sources from all the alternative secondary sources using the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization method. The excitation sources are then further selected from the secondary sources selected in the previous step using the group Lasso method. The sound field simulation from the 2D room model show that the GSO-GL method outperforms the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization method or the group Lasso method alone, combining the high system stability of the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization method with the high reproduction accuracy of the group Lasso method.

Abstract We study the quasinormal modes (QNM) of the charged C-metric, which physically stands for a charged accelerating black hole, with the help of Nekrasov’s partition function of 4d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 superconformal field theories (SCFTs). The QNM in the charged C-metric are classified into three types: the photon-surface modes, the accelerating modes and the near-extremal modes, and it is curious how the single quantization condition proposed in [1] can reproduce all the different families. We show that the connection formula encoded in terms of Nekrasov’s partition function captures all these families of QNM numerically and recovers the asymptotic behavior of the accelerating and the near-extremal modes analytically. Using the connection formulae of different 4d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 SCFTs, one can solve both the radial and the angular parts of the scalar perturbation equation respectively. The same algorithm can be applied to the de Sitter (dS) black holes to calculate both the dS modes and the photon-sphere modes.

ObjectiveTo explore the correlation between skeletal muscle mass and metabolic syndrome （MS） disease risk among middle-aged and elderly community residents in Urumqi， and to provide a theoretical basis for understanding the relationship between skeletal muscle mass and MS among middle-aged and elderly community residents in China.MethodsA total of 1 438 community residents ≥ 50 years old were selected as the research subjects from July 2018 to January 2019 in Urumqi. They were selected from a multi-ethnic natural population cohort in Xinjiang. Data were collected through questionnaires， physical examination， bioelectrical impedance analysis （BIA）， laboratory tests， etc. Skeletal muscle mass was evaluated using the limb skeletal muscle mass index （SMI） corrected for body weight； MS was defined as it at least includes three of the following： abdominal obesity， hypertension， hyperglycemia， high triglycerides and low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. SMI was divided into four quantile arrays of Q1‒Q4. Trend χ2 test was applied to explore whether there was a correlation between SMI changes and MS. A multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze whether there is a difference in the risk of MS between the higher SMI group （Q2， Q3， Q4） and the reference group Q1.ResultA total of 560 MS patients were detected in this study， with a prevalence rate of 38.94%. Among them， the prevalence rate of MS was 39.16% in males and 38.80% in females. The increase in male SMI grading level is not correlated with the prevalence of MS （trend P>0.05）； After adjusting for confounding factors （model 4）， the increase in SMI was still not related to the prevalence of MS （Ptrend=0.995）. There was no statistical difference in the risk of MS between the lowest quartile group Q1 and the highest quartile group Q4 （OR=1.01， 95%CI： 0.69‒1.78）. Abstract Objective This study introduces a minimally invasive technique for efficient three-column reconstruction, augmentation, and stabilization of osteoporotic thoracolumbar burst fractures (OTLBFs). Methods Sixty-eight patients with OTLBFs and no neurological deficits were included from July 2019 to September 2020. The patients were divided into two groups: the simple percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP) group (n = 32) and the percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with pediculoplasty (PKCPP) group (n = 36). The clinical and radiological outcomes were assessed during a minimum 1-year follow-up period. Clinical outcomes were assessed via the visual analog scale (VAS) and modified MacNab grading criteria. The radiological outcomes included the Cobb angle (CA), anterior wall height (AWH), and posterior wall height (PWH). The surgery duration, postoperative analgesic dosage, length of hospital stay, and complications were recorded. Results Surgery duration was not significantly different between the two groups (P > 0.05). The PKCPP group had a lower analgesic dosage and shorter hospital stay (P 0.05). Postoperative CA, AWH, and PWH correction were not significantly different on the first postoperative day (P > 0.05). Abstract This study's purpose was to confirm the observed underexpression of miRNA-410 in glioma tissues and several glioma cells by Quantitative RT-PCR. Our findings suggest that epigenetic alterations occurring at the promoter region of miR-410 may be responsible for the reduced expression of miR-410 in glioma. The occurrence of DNA methylation in the miR-410 promoter was verified to be more prevalent through glioma tissues contrasted to adjacent non-tumor brain tissues through the utilization of methylation-specific PCR and CpG bisulfite sequencing sites in the miR-410 promoter region. Accordantly, miR-410 expression in glioma cell lines was observed to be significantly lesser in comparison to that of the human fetal glial cell line. In addition, it was demonstrated through gain- and loss-of-function investigations that miR-410 exerts significant regulation over cell growth, cell cycle development, and glioma cell apoptosis. The findings of the Luciferase reporter assay and western blot analysis indicate that miR-410 has a direct effect on the 3’-UTR of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), thereby inhibiting its expression within glioma cells. Besides, our clinical investigation indicates a negative association between miR-410 expression and STAT3 within the glioma tissues of humans. In aggregate, the data provided in this investigation indicates that miR-410 is subjected to underexpression via DNA methylation. Furthermore, it has been observed to perform its function as a tumor suppressor in glioma cells through direct targeting of STAT3. The previously mentioned results could potentially have significant implications for the advancement of a new therapeutic approach for treating glioma.

Abstract Smart nanoparticles, which can respond to biological cues or be guided by them, are emerging as a promising drug delivery platform for precise cancer treatment. The field of oncology, nanotechnology, and biomedicine has witnessed rapid progress, leading to innovative developments in smart nanoparticles for safer and more effective cancer therapy. In this review, we will highlight recent advancements in smart nanoparticles, including polymeric nanoparticles, dendrimers, micelles, liposomes, protein nanoparticles, cell membrane nanoparticles, mesoporous silica nanoparticles, gold nanoparticles, iron oxide nanoparticles, quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, black phosphorus, MOF nanoparticles, and others. We will focus on their classification, structures, synthesis, and intelligent features. These smart nanoparticles possess the ability to respond to various external and internal stimuli, such as enzymes, pH, temperature, optics, and magnetism, making them intelligent systems. Additionally, this review will explore the latest studies on tumor targeting by functionalizing the surfaces of smart nanoparticles with tumor-specific ligands like antibodies, peptides, transferrin, and folic acid. We will also summarize different types of drug delivery options, including small molecules, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, and even living cells, for their potential use in cancer therapy. While the potential of smart nanoparticles is promising, we will also acknowledge the challenges and clinical prospects associated with their use. Finally, we will propose a blueprint that involves the use of artificial intelligence-powered nanoparticles in cancer treatment applications. By harnessing the potential of smart nanoparticles, this review aims to usher in a new era of precise and personalized cancer therapy, providing patients with individualized treatment options.

Spinal infections, notably those induced by Aspergillus flavus (A. flavus), represent a complex and uncommon clinical challenge. In individuals with diabetes mellitus, the risk is exacerbated due to a compromised immune response and a heightened vulnerability to non-standard pathogens. This case report chronicles the intricate diagnostic and treatment journey of a 59-year-old diabetic patient grappling with a spinal infection attributed to A. flavus. The diagnosis was delayed due to non-specific symptoms and unclear radiological signs. The administration of voriconazole, a targeted antifungal treatment, resulted in a significant clinical and radiological improvement, underscoring its effectiveness in treating such unusual fungal spinal infections; meanwhile, we found that terbinafine hydrochloride also has a similar effect in treating fungal spinal infections. This case underscores the importance of considering fungal causes in spinal infections among diabetic patients and highlights prompt diagnosis and individualized targeted antifungal therapy.

Coal and gas outburst is an extremely destructive gas dynamic disaster in mines. Since such dynamic disasters are usually difficult to observe directly, physical similarity simulation of coal and gas outburst has become an important method for collecting observational data on outburst and studying outburst mechanisms. However, the energy principles of outburst similarity simulation experiments still lack systematic research. A review of outburst simulation experiments over the past 70 years revealed that experimental coals generally have a higher porosity (10%–40%, median 21.2%), which significantly increases the expansion energy of the initial free gas stored in the coal pores (by several times to several tens of times). To further elucidate the energy release characteristics of outburst simulation experiments, a series of outburst simulation experiments were conducted using a true triaxial coal and gas outburst simulation system, based on similarity criteria. Combined with observational data and energy analysis, it was found that gas expansion energy is the predominant component of outburst energy, accounting for 87.50%–95.31% of the total energy, of which the contribution of initial free gas accounts for 1/3 to 2/3. This demonstrates that the essence of laboratory simulation experiments is to represent the outburst process as a dynamic process driven by high-pressure gas in coal. Due to the high initial free gas expansion energy resulting from the high porosity of experimental coal, simulation experiments can be induced without relying on stress conditions, and even by non-adsorptive gases (such as He) under low pressure (about 0.45 MPa). In contrast to actual field outburst, simulation experiments often exhibit simultaneous release of gas expansion energy and stress energy, lacking interaction between stress and gas, thus making it difficult to reproduce the excitation process of outburst. In the design of future experimental apparatuses, matching the porosity of experimental coal to that of the original coal seam (usually 1%–11%) is key to whether outburst similarity simulation can achieve breakthrough progress in similarity.

Abstract Superconformal indices of four-dimensional N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 gauge theories factorize into holomorphic blocks. We interpret this as a modular property resulting from the combined action of an SL(3, ℤ) and SL(2, ℤ) ⋉ ℤ 2 transformation. The former corresponds to a gluing transformation and the latter to an overall large diffeomorphism, both associated with a Heegaard splitting of the underlying geometry. The extension to more general transformations leads us to argue that a given index can be factorized in terms of a family of holomorphic blocks parametrized by modular (congruence sub)groups. We find precise agreement between this proposal and new modular properties of the elliptic Γ function. This leads to our conjecture for the “modular factorization” of superconformal lens indices of general N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 gauge theories. We provide evidence for the conjecture in the context of the free chiral multiplet and SQED and sketch the extension of our arguments to more general gauge theories. Assuming the validity of the conjecture, we systematically prove that a normalized part of superconformal lens indices defines a non-trivial first cohomology class associated with SL(3, ℤ). Finally, we use this framework to propose a formula for the general lens space index.

Acoustic liner is an important component to reduce engine noise. In this work, the modal sound source characteristics of the pipeline under different flow fields were calculated and used as the input boundary for the background flow field calculation and sound propagation calculation of the Actran software, thereby establishing the sound propagation model. The influences of four structural parameters on the sound absorption effect of the muffler plate hole diameter, hole spacing, honeycomb height, and muffler plate thickness in the single-DOF acoustic liner and the double-DOF acoustic liner were studied respectively. The simulation results show that both degrees of freedom acoustic liners exhibit the phenomenon that the smaller the perforation diameter, the better the sound absorption performance within a certain range of hole diameter. The effects of hole spacing, honeycomb height, and muffler thickness on the sound absorption performance are varied with frequency, the double-DOF acoustic liner above 2500 Hz has large dissipation power and good sound absorption effect. Through the contrast verification in the flow tube test, the transmission loss of the acoustic liner of different structures under different excitation sources is compared, and a reasonable and credible simulation method is obtained.

It is of urgent need to understand the safety and effectiveness of novel coronavirus (COVID-19)-inactivated vaccine in patients with hyperlipidemia (HLD). However, data on the safety and immune response of SARS-CoV-2-inactivated vaccine in HLD patients are limited. In this prospective study, 105 patients with HLD and 74 healthy controls (HCs) were selected. Within 16–168 days after inoculation-inactivated vaccine, the anti-receptor-binding domain (RBD) IgG and SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) were evaluated, respectively. Flow cytometry was performed to evaluate RBD-specific B cells and memory B cells. There was no significant difference between HLD patients and HCs in adverse events (AEs) within 7 days after vaccination, and no serious AEs occurred. The seropositivity rates and titers of two Abs (anti-RBD IgG and CoV-2 NAbs) were lower in HLD patients than in HCs (all, p < 0.05). HLD showed significantly lower frequencies of RBD-specific B cells than HCs (p = 0.040). However, in high cholesterol, high triglyceride, mixed (MiX), and lipid control (HC) subgroups, there was no significant difference in the seropositivity rates and titers of the both Abs. Through mixed factor analysis shows that days between the second dose and sample collection/antibody measurement were associated with the lower anti-RBD IgG antibody levels. In conclusion, inactivated COVID-19 vaccine is safe and well tolerated for HLD patients, but the humoral immune may be limited.

The tree peony, a traditional flower in China, has a short and concentrated flowering period, restricting the development of the tree peony industry. To explore the molecular mechanism of tree peony flowering-stage regulation, PoEP1, which regulated the flowering period, was identified and cloned based on the transcriptome and degradome data of the early-flowering mutant Paeonia ostii ‘Fengdan’ (MU) and Paeonia ostii ‘Fengdan’ (FD). Through bioinformatics analysis, expression pattern analysis, and transgene function verification, the role of PoEP1 in the regulation of tree peony flowering was explored. The open-reading frame of PoEP1 is 1161 bp, encoding 386 amino acids, containing two conserved domains. PoEP1 was homologous to the EP1 of other species. Subcellular localization results showed that the protein was localized in the cell wall and that PoEP1 expression was highest in the initial decay stage of the tree peony. The overexpression of PoEP1 in transgenic plants advanced and shortened the flowering time, indicating that PoEP1 overexpression promotes flowering and senescence and shorten the flowering time of plants. The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for exploring the role of PoEP1 in the regulation of tree peony flowering.

Human resource management is a more important part of public sector internal management. Based on the principles of objectivity, comprehensiveness, and significance of indicator construction, this paper constructs a human resource management performance assessment model in public community governance. It introduces the entropy weight method and TOPSIS method to comprehensively and objectively calculate the degree of influence of each evaluation indicator on public human resource management performance. Meanwhile, taking the data of public community governance in County S as an example, the vertical and horizontal comparisons of public human resource management performance are carried out to explore the corresponding public human resource management performance improvement strategies. The results of the study show that in the public human resource management of County S city, the weight of the character factor indicator is the largest (0.3801), and that of the diligence element is the smallest (0.0936), indicating that the character factor has the greatest influence on the human resource management performance of public community governance in County S city. In order to improve performance, it is recommended to promote the optimization of the management system by combining the performance management experience, as well as to continuously innovate the human resource incentive methods through multiple research.

Background The presence of sudden onset to maximal deficit (SOTMD) in patients with acute basilar artery occlusion often results in more severe outcomes. However, the effect of endovascular therapy on SOTMD and whether the outcome is affected by onset‐to‐puncture time remain unclear. Methods and Results This retrospective analysis was conducted using data from the prospective BASILAR (Endovascular Treatment for Acute Basilar Artery Occlusion Study Registry). Consecutive patients with basilar artery occlusion receiving endovascular therapy were dichotomized into SOTMD and non‐SOTMD cohorts. The primary outcomes included a favorable outcome (modified Rankin scale 0–3), recanalization, and mortality at 90 days. The outcomes of patients with SOTMD were analyzed using multivariable logistic regression. In the multivariate analysis, a favorable outcome was similar between the two cohorts (odds ratio [OR], 0.88 [95% CI, 0.58–1.34]; P=0.5), although the mortality of patients with SOTMD was higher than that of patients with non‐SOTMD (OR, 1.67 [95% CI, 1.14–2.44]; P=0.008). The probability of mortality increased from 40.0% at 1 hour to 70.0% at 6 hours in the SOTMD cohort, and favorable outcomes of patients with non‐SOTMD declined from 38.0% at 1 hour to 18.0% at 8 hours. Conclusions No significant difference was observed in favorable outcomes between the SOTMD and non‐SOTMD groups, although mortality was higher in the SOTMD cohort. The patients with SOTMD had a stronger time dependence for endovascular therapy in terms of mortality, while the time dependency regarding favorable outcome in the NSOTMD group was even higher. With the modernization and intelligent development of agriculture, the energy demand in rural areas continues to increase, which leads to an increased operational burden on the existing rural distribution network. Integrated energy stations (IESs), in rural areas, use renewable energy sources such as biogas, wind power, and photovoltaic as energy inputs, which can fully improve energy efficiency and help reduce the operating load and peak valley difference of rural distribution networks. In this paper, a multistage planning model is proposed for rural distribution networks with IESs based on the robust optimization method. Firstly, a rural distribution network operation framework with IESs is proposed, and a mathematical model of rural IESs is built based on the energy hub (EH). Then, the multistage robust planning model of rural distribution net-works with IESs is developed and typical scenarios of stochastic source and load are generated based on improved k-means. An iterative solution method for a two-stage robust optimization method is proposed based on the nested column constraint generation (NC&CG) algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the presented model and solution approach is assessed through case studies on a modified IEEE 33-node distribution network and a real 152-node distribution network.

Background and purposeA novel radiotracer, 18F-fluciclovine (anti-3-18F-FACBC), has been demonstrated to be associated with significantly improved survival when it is used in PET/CT imaging to guide postprostatectomy salvage radiotherapy for prostate cancer. We aimed to investigate the feasibility of using a deep learning method to automatically detect and segment lesions on 18F-fluciclovine PET/CT images.Materials and methodsWe retrospectively identified 84 patients who are enrolled in Arm B of the Emory Molecular Prostate Imaging for Radiotherapy Enhancement (EMPIRE-1) trial. All 84 patients had prostate adenocarcinoma and underwent prostatectomy and 18F-fluciclovine PET/CT imaging with lesions identified and delineated by physicians. Three different neural networks with increasing levels of complexity (U-net, Cascaded U-net, and a cascaded detection segmentation network) were trained and tested on the 84 patients with a fivefold cross-validation strategy and a hold-out test, using manual contours as the ground truth. We also investigated using both PET and CT or using PET only as input to the neural network. Dice similarity coefficient (DSC), 95th percentile Hausdorff distance (HD95), center-of-mass distance (CMD), and volume difference (VD) were used to quantify the quality of segmentation results against ground truth contours provided by physicians.ResultsAll three deep learning methods were able to detect 144/155 lesions and 153/155 lesions successfully when PET+CT and PET only, respectively, served as input. Quantitative results demonstrated that the neural network with the best performance was able to segment lesions with an average DSC of 0.68 ± 0.15 and HD95 of 4 ± 2 mm. The center of mass of the segmented contours deviated from physician contours by approximately 2 mm on average, and the volume difference was less than 1 cc. The novel network proposed by us achieves the best performance compared to current networks. The addition of CT as input to the neural network contributed to more cases of failure (DSC = 0), and among those cases of DSC > 0, it was shown to produce no statistically significant difference with the use of only PET as input for our proposed method.ConclusionQuantitative results demonstrated the feasibility of the deep learning methods in automatically segmenting lesions on 18F-fluciclovine PET/CT images. This indicates the great potential of 18F-fluciclovine PET/CT combined with deep learning for providing a second check in identifying lesions as well as saving time and effort for physicians in contouring.

In this work, a new design principle, i.e. doping with refractory metal particles with a low diffusion rate to prevent the formation of cracks and to improve the mechanical properties of bulk metallic glass (BMG) composites, was put forward. It was proven that crack-free and dense Mo(p)/Cu47Zr47Al6 BMG composites with enhanced mechanical properties can be produced via LPBF. The dislocations generated in the Mo particles can release thermal stress, thereby inhibiting the formation of thermal-cracks. The fracture patterns of Mo particles show that they can delay rapid of crack expansion, thereby improving the inherent strength and toughness of the material.

BackgroundThe number of patients undergoing proton therapy has increased in recent years. Current treatment planning systems (TPS) calculate dose maps using three-dimensional (3D) maps of relative stopping power (RSP) and mass density. The patient-specific maps of RSP and mass density were obtained by translating the CT number (HU) acquired using single-energy computed tomography (SECT) with appropriate conversions and coefficients. The proton dose calculation uncertainty of this approach is 2.5%-3.5% plus 1 mm margin. SECT is the major clinical modality for proton therapy treatment planning. It would be intriguing to enhance proton dose calculation accuracy using a deep learning (DL) approach centered on SECT.ObjectivesThe purpose of this work is to develop a deep learning method to generate mass density and relative stopping power (RSP) maps based on clinical single-energy CT (SECT) data for proton dose calculation in proton therapy treatment.MethodsArtificial neural networks (ANN), fully convolutional neural networks (FCNN), and residual neural networks (ResNet) were used to learn the correlation between voxel-specific mass density, RSP, and SECT CT number (HU). A stoichiometric calibration method based on SECT data and an empirical model based on dual-energy CT (DECT) images were chosen as reference models to evaluate the performance of deep learning neural networks. SECT images of a CIRS 062M electron density phantom were used as the training dataset for deep learning models. CIRS anthropomorphic M701 and M702 phantoms were used to test the performance of deep learning models.ResultsFor M701, the mean absolute percentage errors (MAPE) of the mass density map by FCNN are 0.39%, 0.92%, 0.68%, 0.92%, and 1.57% on the brain, spinal cord, soft tissue, bone, and lung, respectively, whereas with the SECT stoichiometric method, they are 0.99%, 2.34%, 1.87%, 2.90%, and 12.96%. For RSP maps, the MAPE of FCNN on M701 are 0.85%, 2.32%, 0.75%, 1.22%, and 1.25%, whereas with the SECT reference model, they are 0.95%, 2.61%, 2.08%, 7.74%, and 8.62%. ConclusionThe results show that deep learning neural networks have the potential to generate accurate voxel-specific material property information, which can be used to improve the accuracy of proton dose calculation.Advances in knowledgeDeep learning-based frameworks are proposed to estimate material mass density and RSP from SECT with improved accuracy compared with conventional methods.

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) is recognized for its antioxidant property, as a kind of natural phenolic-rich ingredient. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) present a class of heat-driven hazards in foods, especially the processed meat. In this study, the effect of coriander root and leaf extract on the formation and inhibition of PAH8 in roasted duck wings was firstly investigated. Coriander root extract (CRE) and coriander leaf extract (CLE) with five concentration groups (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000 mg/L) were prepared respectively to marinate the duck wings. CRE marinade exhibited greater inhibitory effect on PAH8 formation in roasted duck wings that ranged from 65.0 %–87.4 %. The electron spin resonance study indicated a significantly positive correlation between PAH8 and free radical level, suggesting the participation of radicals in PAHs formation. Also, it was speculated that the inhibitory effect on PAH8 was related to the phenolic compounds identified in coriander marinades. CRE made greater inhibitory effect on the formation of PAH8 and could be considered as a kind of natural source to mitigate PAHs in heat-processed meat products.

Achieving return of spontaneous circulation and improving survival during out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is challenging. It has been established that extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR) can be an alternative rescue therapy when conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CCPR) fails to re-establish circulation. Pre-hospital ECPR can reduce the time of inadequate circulation as much as possible. However, the implementation of pre-hospital ECPR needs huge investment, and due to the limitations of site conditions, clinical promotion and application are difficult. Therefore, team cooperation, implementation process and the best beneficiaries of the pre-hospital ECPR still need further study. At present, some medical institutions at home and abroad have carried out the pre-hospital ECPR strategy and achieved some success. Herein, we review the current situation and the prospect of applying prehospital ECPR.

In this article, we study the Cauchy problem of the chemotaxis-Navier–Stokes system with the consumption and production of chemosignals with a logistic source. The parameters χ≠0, ξ≠0, λ>0 and μ>0. The system is a model that involves double chemosignals; one is an attractant consumed by the cells themselves, and the other is an attractant or a repellent produced by the cells themselves. We prove the global-in-time existence and uniqueness of the weak solution to the system for a large class of initial data on the whole space R2.

In low-voltage power distribution station areas (DSAs), sensor devices and communication networks are often inadequate. Therefore, the control strategies mainly used for soft open points (SOPs) based on global information in medium-voltage distribution networks are difficult to be directly applied to low-voltage DSAs. This paper proposes a novel control strategy for SOP that only requires collecting the local information of SOP and the load rate of transformers. It aims to address the issues faced of voltage violations at the end of feeders and the load rate imbalance among adjacent DSAs under the current high penetration of renewable energy sources. In this paper, first, a sensor network consisting of sensor devices located at the transformers and each port of the SOP is introduced for information collection. Then, based on the sensitivity relationship between the node voltage and the injected power, considering capacity and voltage safety constraints, the adjustable range of the active power output for each port of the SOP is derived. According to this range, the operating states of the DSAs are categorized into four scenarios. For each scenario, the adjustment amount of SOP output power is determined to achieve comprehensive regulation of terminal voltage and load rate of all DSAs interconnected by SOP. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified based on a simulation model of three flexible interconnected DSAs established in MATLAB/Simulink.

Abstract Spin Matrix theory describes near-BPS limits of N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM theory, which enables us to probe finite N effects like D-branes and black hole physics. In previous works, we have developed the spherical reduction and spin chain methods to construct Spin Matrix theory for various limits. In this paper, by considering a supercharge Q $$ \mathcal{Q} $$ which is cubic in terms of the letters, we construct the Hamiltonian of the largest Spin Matrix theory of N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM, called the PSU(1, 2|3) Spin Matrix theory, as H = Q Q † $$ H=\left\{\mathcal{Q},{\mathcal{Q}}^{\dagger}\right\} $$ . We show the resulting Hamiltonian is automatically positive definite and manifestly invariant under supersymmetry. The Hamiltonian is made of basic blocks which transform as supermultiplets. A novel feature of this Hamiltonian is its division into D-terms and F-terms that are separately invariant under PSU(1, 2|3) symmetry and positive definite. As all the other Spin Matrix theories arising from N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM can be acquired by turning off certain letters in the theory, we consider our work as revealing the “Panorama” of Spin Matrix theory.

Aimed at the phenomenon of variable overburden spatial structures and complex disaster factors in multi-face mining in a geological anomaly area of a mine, taking the actual geological occurrence conditions and mining technology conditions as the engineering background, this paper studied the changes rule of overburden spatial migration structures and the distribution characteristics of abutment pressure in the geological anomaly area by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. Taking single-layer bending thin plate as an example, mechanical models of plates at different mining stages were established, and the characteristics of bending energy release of plates at different mining stages were revealed. Based on the structural regulation theory, the prevention measures of rock burst at the beginning and end of mining were proposed to reduce the collapse span of thick and hard rock strata. The main conclusions were as follows: ①With the successive mining of multiple faces working, the overburden spatial structure evolution of “一” → “S”→ short “Ω”→ irregular “Ω”→ long “Ω” →“O”→shaped overburden spatial structures has been experienced in the area of geological anomalies successively, enriching the types of overburden spatial structure; ②Due to the influence of geological anomalies, more initial pressure and “square” pressure are borne in the mining process of multiple faces working. The dynamic load disturbance and abutment pressure distribution of roof collapse in this area were more complex and changeable, which were easy to cause the risk of overall instability rock bursts of wide coal pillar; ③Based on the mechanical model of single-layer bending thin plate, it was concluded that the bending energy of different plate structures increased exponentially or linearly with the length of the side, and the free edge had a greater influence on the bending energy than the fixed edge; ④The effect test of the pre-pressure relief and danger relief measures showed that there were no big micro-seismic energy events in the working face mining process and the coal body stress remained stable. The structural control measures basically guaranteed the prevention effect of rock burst at the beginning and end of the multi-working face mining in the geological abnormal area.

Cutaneous metastases of ovarian cancer are rare and often have poor prognosis. We report a case of a 62-year-old woman with recurrent low-grade serous ovarian cancer, who presented with lung, brain, and multiple skin (nasal and anterior chest wall) metastases approximately six months after the initial diagnosis. In this case, Nijmegen breakage syndrome carrier status caused by RAD50 heterozygous mutation and previous bevacizumab therapy could be the predisposing factor for cutaneous metastases. The patient was treated with local radiotherapy (nasal skin and brain, 30Gy/6f/1.2W) and three courses of chemotherapy with albumin-bound paclitaxel and carboplatin, resulting in drastic remission of the cutaneous metastases. Unfortunately, treatment interruption resulted in rapid tumor progression, followed by death. This case represents an interesting example of cutaneous metastasis of ovarian cancer with rare clinical manifestations, unique genetic mutations, and reasonable response to treatment. Chemoradiotherapy might be an appropriate option for cutaneous metastases of ovarian cancer. Nevertheless, we still hope to find out the best treatment strategy after collecting and reviewing more cases in the future.

Background: Dietary therapy may potentially reduce inflammation and promote mucosal healing in patients with Crohn’s disease and is associated with fewer side effects and lower cost compared to medical therapy. Recently the Crohn’s disease exclusion diet (CDED) has been developed to reduce exposure to individualized dietary components which negatively affect the intestine in patients with Crohn’s disease. Objectives: This systematic review aimed to explore the effectiveness of CDED in Crohn’s disease patients. Design: A systematic review Data sources and methods: A systematic search was performed on the PubMed, EBSCOhost, Cochrane library, OVID, Embase, Scopus, and CINHAL to identify relevant clinical trials published from 1 January 2014 to 31 August 2022. Results: A total of 1120 studies were identified and 7 studies were finally included in the analysis. The study was reported according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis statement. Conclusion: Our findings suggested that the use of CDED seemed to be effective for induction and maintenance of remission in children and adults with mild to moderate Crohn’s disease. However, heterogeneity and limitations existed among the studies included. Further investigation in the form of well-designed randomized clinical trials is needed to validate the present findings. Weathered bedrock aquifer is the main water-filled aquifer for coal mining in Jurassic coalfields in northern Shaanxi. The regional prediction of the water richness of weathered bedrock aquifer is the key to mine water control. Taking the central and western part of Hongliulin Minefield as the research area, based on the analysis of the factors affecting the water-richness of the weathered bedrock, the thickness of the weathered bedrock, the core removal rate, the degree of weathering, the combination of lithology, the top elevation of the weathered bedrock and the sand base ratio are selected to use as the discriminant indexes, 41 groups of effective weathered bedrock borehole pumping test data in the study area are used as training samples and verification samples with a 3∶1 random allocation method to construct a water-rich Bayes discriminant analysis model. This model is used to predict the water richness category of weathered bedrock that has not been drilled for pumping test in the central and western part of Hongliulin Minefield, and the water richness prediction diagram of weathered bedrock is obtained. The results show that the overall water-rich water in the western first panel of the study area is relatively strong, and the spatial distribution of strong water-rich area is uneven. Most areas of the north second panel and the south second panel have relatively weak water richness, and the extremely weak water rich areas are distributed in the southeast. By comparing with the actual production of the working face water inflow and the location of the water outlet point, the prediction result of the water-rich zone is consistent with the actual situation.

Line break faults commonly occur in distribution networks and pose the risk of electric shocks to nearby individuals and animals. This study aims to address the challenge of identifying the direction of a line break fault. Specifically, we develop a model for a single-phase line break fault in a small current grounding system and focus on analyzing the steady-state voltage changes on both sides of the fault point. The voltage characteristics of the ungrounded system and the resonant grounding system are compared and summarized. Based on these characteristics, a more reliable method is proposed to identify the single-phase line break fault direction by utilizing two types of local voltage information: the magnitude of the line-to-line voltage and the sequence of phase-to-earth voltage. Additionally, we analyze the effects of V/V wired potential transformer (PT) and distributed generation (DG). The proposed method can accommodate the high utilization rate of V/V wired PT in distribution networks and its practicality is unaffected by the connection of DG to the distribution network. The above analysis is verified through simulations. The findings of this study demonstrate that the direction of a single-phase line break fault can be reliably detected using local voltage information and can be further localized with the assistance of communication, thereby improving the level of relay protection in distribution networks.

The hydrochemical characteristics of groundwater in coal mining areas and its formation are of great significance to groundwater protection in mining areas and the identification of mine water inrush water sources. This paper takes the Quaternary aquifer, Cretaceous Luohe Formation, Jurassic Anding Formation and Zhiluo Formation aquifer groundwater as research objects in the Yushenfu Mining Area in northern Shaanxi. The chemical characteristics and formation of groundwater were analyzed by comprehensive use of statistical analysis, Piper's three-line diagram, isotope, Gibbs diagram and ion ratio relationship. The results show that the groundwater in this mining area is weakly alkaline fresh water. In the groundwater of quaternary, cretaceous Luohe Formation and Jurassic Zhiluo Formation （weathered bedrock）, the cation is mainly Ca2+, and the anion is mainly HCO3 −. In the groundwater of Jurassic Anding Formation, the cation is mainly K++Na+, and the anion is HCO3 −. In the groundwater of Jurassic Zhiluo Formation （normal bedrock）, the cation is mainly K++Na+, and the anion is mainly SO4 2−. TDS in the groundwater of each aquifer is significantly correlated with major ions. In the normal bedrock groundwater of the Luohe Formation and the Jurassic Zhiluo Formation, the spatial distribution of ions was quite different. Through isotope analysis and dissolution analysis, there is a hydraulic connection between the fourth series and the weathered bedrock aquifer of the Zhiluo Formation. The formation of main ions in groundwater in the study area is controlled by rock weathering, and the main ions are derived from the dissolution of carbonate, silicate, and sulfate minerals, and are affected by the alternating adsorption of K+, Na+, Ca2+, and Mg2+ cations. The results of this study can provide some reference for the protection and rational development and utilization of groundwater resources in the Yushenfu Mining Area.

ObjectiveTo obtain the prevalence of sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly people in Urumqi based on the 2020 updated based on the 2020 updated Consensus Report 2019 of Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia （AWGS2019）， and to further explore the association between sarcopenia and metabolic syndrome （MS）.MethodsA total of 1 438 middle-aged and elderly people （aged≥50 years） in Urumqi from July 2018 to January 2019 were selected as the research subjects. Data were collected by questionnaire survey， physical examination and laboratory test. Skeletal muscle mass，grip strength and 4 m walking speed were used to represent muscle mass， muscle strength and body function， respectively. Bioelectrical impedance analysis （BIA） was used to measure human body components. Based on the diagnostic criteria of sarcopenia recommended by AWGS2019， the prevalence of sarcopenia in people over 50 years old was obtained. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to explore the correlation between sarcopenia and MS in middle-aged and elderly people of different genders.ResultsThere were 194 patients with sarcopenia， with a prevalence of 13.49%. The prevalence was 15.56% in males and 12.12% in females. There was no significant difference in the prevalence of MS between male sarcopenia group （40.45%） and non-sarcopenia group （38.92%）， while the prevalence of MS in female sarcopenia group （39.04%） was higher than that in non-sarcopenia group （27.56%）. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that sarcopenia was a related factor of MS. Compared with non-sarcopenia， the risk of MS in male sarcopenia group was higher （OR=2.11，95%CI： 1.15‒3.88 ）.ConclusionSarcopenia increases the risk of MS in middle-aged and elderly people， with a greater risk in men. Fully understanding of sarcopenia is helpful to early identify high-risk groups of MS and prevent the occurrence of MS.

Osteosarcomas are prevalent in children and young adults and have a high recurrence rate. Cisplatin, doxorubicin, and methotrexate are common adjuvant chemotherapy drugs for treatment of osteosarcoma, but multidrug resistance is a growing problem. Therefore, understanding the molecular mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in osteosarcoma cells is crucial for developing new therapeutic approaches and ultimately improving the prognosis of osteosarcoma patients. To identify genes associated with cisplatin resistance in osteosarcoma, we screened a large‐scale mutant library generated by transfecting human osteosarcoma cells with a piggyBac (PB) transposon‐based gene activation vector. Several candidate genes were identified by using Splinkerette‐PCR paired with Next Generation Sequencing. We created a disease‐free survival predictor model, which includes ZNF720, REEP3, CNNM2, and CGREF1, using TARGET (Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments) datasets. Additionally, the results of our enrichment analysis between the Four_genes_high group and Low_group suggested that these four genes may participate in cisplatin resistance in osteosarcoma through cross talk between various signaling pathways, especially the signaling pathway related to bone formation. These data may help guide future studies into chemotherapy for osteosarcoma.

This study mainly monitored the dominant bacterial populations and identified the spoilage-related microorganisms of braised chicken meat stored under different CO2-modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) during refrigerated storage using a culture-dependent method and 16S rDNA identification. The quality changes and shelf life of the meat were also measured. The growth rate of total viable count (TVC) in braised chicken was slower with an increase of CO2 content in MAP, which also occurred in the remaining bacterial species monitored (lactic acid bacteria, Pseudomonas spp., Brochothrix thermosphacta). The MAP exerted beneficial effects on the quality of braised chicken, as demonstrated by retarding the production of total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) and delaying lipid oxidation (TBARS test). A total of 14 isolates were identified from braised chickens with different packaging at the end of storage, these included P. fragi (6 isolates), P. psychrophila (2 isolates), Enterococcus faecalis (3 isolates), B. thermosphacta (2 isolates), Staphylococcus equorum (1 isolate).

Aiming at the uncertain optimization problem of AC/DC hybrid distribution network under the coordination of source, grid load and storage, an AC/DC hybrid distribution network operation scheme based on two stage affinely adjustable robust optimization was proposed in this paper. Firstly, the controllable model of distribution generation (DG), the battery energy storage model with cycle life degradation and the ZIP load model were considered, and the optimization model of AC/DC hybrid distribution network economic operation was constructed. Then the ellipsoid set was used to describe the uncertainty of DG output, and the linear decision-making mechanism of decision variables and uncertainty variables of DG output in the optimization model was formed by combining linear affine strategy, Finally, the robust optimization model of AC/DC hybrid distribution network was transformed into a deterministic mixed integer second-order cone programming model by dual transformation. The effectiveness and advantages of the affinely adjustable robust optimization method proposed in this paper were compared and verified in the two modified IEEE bus system.

The role of enhancer de-regulation in anti-tumor immunity remains to be explored. Here, the authors suggest that ablation of MLL3 and MLL4, two enhancer-associated H3K4 monomethyltransferases, increases tumor immunogenicity and promotes anti-tumor T cell response.

In order to study the internal cross-linking mechanism between cellulose and polysaccharides as wet-end additives in papermaking reconstituted tobacco, crystalline cellulose (MCC) was used as the target in this paper, sodium alginate (SA) , pullulan (Pul) , κ-carrageenan (κ-C), carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCS), hydroxypropyl chitosan (HPCS) and tamarind polysaccharide (TSP) were selected, the structure and composition of the monomer polysaccharides were determined by dynamic light scattering and ion chromatography, at the same time, the characteristics of the above-mentioned polysaccharides and MCC blend were analyzed, the results showed that SA contained a lot of negative charge, which resulted in weak adhesion and poor adsorption ability in cellulose blend; Pul was the most compact chain conformation, effectively improve the adhesion of cellulose, can be quickly adsorbed on cellulose; κ-C increased the viscosity of MCC blend and could adhere the 30μm size fragments of cellulose CMCS had strong adhesion to cellulose edge; due to the introduction of carboxymethyl group, the hydrophilicity of HPCS and the apparent viscosity of MCC blend increased greatly; the complex branched-chain structure of TSP results in high storage modulus of TSP/cellulose blend, and the amount of TSP adsorbed on cellulose is large and lasts long. Pul, TSP, κ-c, CMCS and TSP could adsorb cellulose well.

In response to the growing demand for economic and social development, there has been a significant increase in the integration of distributed generation (DG) into distribution networks. This paper proposes a dynamic risk assessment method for voltage violations in distribution networks with DG. Firstly, considering the characteristics of random variables such as load and DG, a probability density function estimation method based on boundary kernel density estimation is proposed. This method accurately models the probability of random variables under different time and external environmental conditions, such as wind speed and global horizontal radiation. Secondly, to address the issue of correlated DG in the same region, an independent transformation method based on the Rosenblatt inverse transform is proposed, which enhances the accuracy of probabilistic load flow. Thirdly, a voltage violation severity index based on the utility function is proposed. This index, in combination with probabilistic load flow results, facilitates the quantitative assessment of voltage violation risks. Finally, the accuracy of the proposed method is verified on the IEEE-33 system.

In order to study the effect of different parameters on drainage effect of bedding drilling in high gas coal seam, based on Fick diffusion, Darcy’s law, ideal state gas equation and Langmuir equation, the flow-solid coupled mathematical model of gas-water two-phase flow of gas-water were established by combining the fracture-pore dual pore medium structure of coal mass and the transport characteristics of gas and water. The COMSOL Multiphysics software was employed to conduct a numerical simulation study on gas extraction of the 3# coal seam in Zhangcun Coal Mine. The results present that the larger the drill hole diameter in a certain range, the higher the extraction efficiency will be. The effect of the change of negative extraction pressure on the effective area of gas extraction and the change of gas pressure is significantly weak and the improvement of gas extraction efficiency is not much. Reducing the spacing between boreholes can effectively improve the extraction efficiency, however it is not the case that the smaller the spacing between boreholes, the better effect will be. In the early stage of extraction, the effective extraction area of each drill hole is independent. As the extraction progresses, the effective extraction zone of each drill hole gradually increases and is superimposed on the effective extraction zone of adjacent drill holes to form an overall effective extraction zone. When it is required to reach the standard within 100 days of extraction, the optimal plan for single hole arrangement of 3# coal seam in Zhangcun Coal Mine is 94 mm in diameter, 20 kPa in negative extraction pressure and 3 m in spacing.

Objective To explore the correlation between postpartum depression and rumination among puerperal women. Methods From October 2021 to February 2022, 260 puerperal women in three grade 3 hospitals of Xi 'an were selected by convenience sampling method for postpartum review. The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) was used to investigate postpartum depression. Puerperal women were divided into two groups according to their EPDS score (EPDS≥10 in depressed group, EPDS＜10 in non-depressed group). The Ruminative Responses Scale (RRS) scores were compared between the depressed group and the non-depressed group, and the correlation analysis were conducted between postpartum depression and rumination. The vast applications of 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde-derived systems in the sensors originate from their unusual excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) fluorescence in the molecules. The mechanism of ESIPT fluorescence in the solvated 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde carbohydrazone (HNLSC) system was investigated by ab initio time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) calculation. The solvation stabilized both ground state and excited state in the enol form, and the medium intramolecular interaction ensured the bond break, bond-forming and proton transfer in the conversion from excited enol form to keto form. ESIPT reaction from the enol form to the keto form had a low barrier of 2.54 kcal mol−1 in the cyclohexane solvation, and all the calculated emission was consistent with the experimental findings. Moreover, the disaggregation of excited enol form was favoured instead of the IPT conversion to keto form, vanishing the specific ESIPT pathway in the protic surroundings. Our research can give a meaningful insight into the two kinds of fluorescence spectroscopy in the HNISC system found by experimental measurement and be potential guidance to the application of 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde-derived systems in the development of new-type sensors, nonlinear optical materials and biochemical probes.

Abstract Tebipenem pivoxil hydrobromide (TBP‐PI‐HBr) is a novel oral carbapenem prodrug of tebipenem (TBP), the active moiety, currently in development for treating serious bacterial infections. This study assessed the bioequivalence (BE) of the clinical trial and registration tablet formulations of TBP‐PI‐HBr and evaluated the effect of food on the pharmacokinetics (PKs) of tebipenem. This was a single center, open‐label, randomized, single‐dose, three‐sequence, four‐period crossover, BE, and food‐effect study. Subjects received single 600 mg oral doses of TBP‐PI‐HBr as the reference clinical trial tablet (treatment A) and test registration tablet (treatment B) formulations in alternating sequence while fasting, and then the test formulation under fed conditions. Whole blood samples were collected predose and at specified intervals up to 24 h postdose to evaluate TBP PK parameters. Safety and tolerability were monitored. Thirty‐six healthy, adult subjects were enrolled and completed the study. The criteria for BE were met for the TBP‐PI‐HBr test (registration tablet) and reference (clinical trial tablet) formulations as the 90% confidence intervals for the geometric mean ratios for TBP area under the curve (AUC)0‐t, AUC0‐inf, and maximum plasma concentration (Cmax) fell within the established 80% to 125% BE limits. Dosing with food had no meaningful effect on TBP PK parameters. Five (14%) subjects reported adverse events (AEs) of mild severity. No deaths, serious AEs, or discontinuations due to AEs were reported, and no clinically relevant electrocardiograms, vital signs, or safety laboratory findings were observed. The study results demonstrate the BE of oral TBP‐PI‐HBr registration and clinical trial tablet formulations and indicate that TBP‐PI‐HBr can be administered without regard to meals.
