The influence of the stability of the insurance industry on the strength of the financial market cannot be ignored, and the healthy and strong growth of the insurance industry plays an indispensable role in maintaining the stability of the whole society. To fully analyze the influence of the stability of the insurance industry on the strength of the financial market, this paper proposes a prediction model of systemic financial risk. The insurance industry’s systemic financial risk prediction indicators are determined based on the principle of selecting systemic risk factors and indicators. After preprocessing the collected relevant research data, relevant research variables are determined, a Logit prediction model for the systemic risk of the insurance industry is constructed, and a case study is conducted. The data show that the average value of GDP during these 21 years is 379642.64, and it reaches about 2.4 times the average value in 2023. The insurance industry’s economy grows steadily and rapidly. It reached the maximum response in the 10th period (0.04616), i.e., the development of China’s life insurance industry, which has a more obvious role in promoting the development of the economy. It is predicted that China’s financial risk in the insurance industry in the second half of 2024 will have a great probability of being in a low-risk state. Its predicted probability value is close to 1. The insurance industry’s healthy development has a positive impact on economic development, and the insurance industry’s stable development is of great importance to economic development, as evidenced by this study.

Objective: To establish and verify the normal reference range of uterine artery mean pulsatility index (mPI) between 11-40 weeks of pregnancy in low-risk population. Methods: Pregnant women registered in our hospital from January 2019 to July 2023 and underwent ultrasound examination at 11 to 40 weeks were enrolled. By Ultrasound diagnosis, the pulsatility index (PI) of bilateral uterine arteries were measured, and whether there was a notch in the early diastolic period was checked. Following up the pregnancy, basic clinical data and fetal birth information were collected. Results: A total of 1365 low-risk people with normal pregnancy outcomes were included. The 104 cases of adverse pregnancy outcomes were wed to verify the refernce range, including pregnancy included hypertension (n=41) and fetalgrowth restriction (n=23). With the increase of gestation age, mPI showed a gradual downward trend. There was a rapid decline before 20 weeks of gestation (mPI 95th percentile at 11 weeks and 20 weeks of gestation were 2.35 and 1.54, respectively), then declined slowly, and mPI stabilized after 32 weeks of gestation (95th percentile mPI at 32 weeks and 39 weeks of gestation were 0.91 and 0.87, respectively). With the increase of gestation age, the detection rate of early diastolic notch in bilateral uterine arteries decreased gradually. The detection rate was 69.20% at 11-15 weeks of gestation, 27.01% at 21-25 weeks of gestation, then stabilized and decreased to 6.31% at 36-40 weeks of gestation. The results of receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis showed that the sensitivity and specificity of mPI ≥95th precentile in predicting hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy were 30.11% and 93.21%, respectively; The sensitivity and specificity in predicting fetal growth restriction were 61.9% and 92.85%, respectively. Conclusions: Establishing the reference range of uterine artery mPI at 11-40 weeks of pregnancy in low-risk population may be used for prospective exclusion of gestational hypertension and fetal growth restriction.

Transient electronics with degradability or dissolvability on demand possess remarkable characteristics for wearable, bioelectronic, and implanted electronic devices. While synthetic materials have made significant progress in degradability and stretchability, they suffer from intrinsic limitations, including low degradation rates, poor mechanical compliance, and high production cost, which restrict the growth of transient electronic devices. Herein, a versatile fabrication strategy is presented for transient electronics that combine a resilient biopolymer substrate (gelatin biogels) with liquid metal (Galinstan). The circuits made from gelatin biogel‐based and liquid metal are mechanically resilient and durable, exhibiting good compliance with irregular and deformable surfaces, and thus can withstand long‐term exposure to dynamic deformation (about 60 000 cycles at a strain of 50%). More importantly, gelatin biogels are naturally derived and endowed with thermally reversible gelling, which enables on‐demand rapid dissolution and recycling of the materials. As a proof‐of‐concept, transient circuit‐based capacitive sensors, which can be degraded within 20 s, are fabricated for monitoring finger touching, morse code generation, and electrical touchpad. Such a strategy provides a guideline for designing transient electronics with a combination of biopolymer gels and liquid metal, and this approach is anticipated to find applications in human–machine interfaces and wearable devices. In this report, PEDOT composite films were prepared by in situ electrochemical polymerization. 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazole bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (EMI-TFSI) was used as an ionic liquid dopant for PEDOT:PSS films. Subsequently, these PEDOT:PSS/EMI-TFSI films were compared with PEDOT:PSS films based on their morphology, structure, electrochromic properties, and optical properties at different deposition voltages and deposition times. It was observed that the addition of EMI-TFSI enhanced all the aforementioned properties of the films. PEDOT:PSS/EMI-TFSI films were seen to have a larger ion diffusion coefficient (1.38 × 10−20 cm2·s−1), a wider color change range (43.48%), a shorter response time (coloring response time = 1.2 s; fade response time = 2 s), and a higher coloring efficiency (189.86 cm2·C−1) when compared with normal PEDOT:PSS films. The introduction of EMI-TFSI in the films ultimately resulted in superior electrochemical and optical properties along with higher stability.

Simple Summary: Salmonella enterica is a zoonotic pathogen in humans that causes gastrointestinal infections or more serious infections. Second only to poultry, pigs are the most common source of zoonotic Salmonella enterica infections. Although current pig farm disinfection is very strict, its positive detection rate is still very high. Resistance to commonly used antibiotics has been observed in various bacteria in recent decades, requiring the use of alternative strategies to control pathogens. Therefore, comprehension of the pathogenic mechanism of Salmonella enterica in the pig gut is imperative, as it will greatly facilitate the advancement of preventive and therapeutic approaches for combating Salmonella enterica. By exploring the transcriptional regulation of intestinal cells in response to Salmonella enterica infection, we can find the key genes and pathways of host cells in resistance to Salmonella enterica infection, which will provide theoretical support for disease resistance breeding in pigs. Pigs can be colonized with Salmonella enterica and become established carriers. However, the mechanisms of the host's response to Salmonella enterica infection are largely unclear. This study was constructed with the Salmonella enterica infection model in vitro using porcine intestinal epithelial cells (IPEC-J2). Transcriptome profiling of IPEC-J2 cells was carried out to characterize the effect of Salmonella enterica infection and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) treatment, in which LPS-induced inflammation was a positive control. At first, Salmonella enterica infection increased the cell apoptosis rate and induced an inflammation response in IPEC-J2. Then, the up-regulated genes were enriched in metabolic pathways, such as those for bile secretion and mineral absorption, while down-regulated genes were enriched in immune-related pathways, such as the Toll-like receptor signaling and p53 signaling pathways. Moreover, we found 368 up-regulated genes and 101 down-regulated genes in common. Then, an integrative analysis of the transcriptomic profile under Salmonella enterica infection and LPS treatment was conducted, and eight up-regulated genes and one down-regulated gene were detected. Among them, AQP8 is one critical gene of the bile secretion pathway, and its mRNA and protein expression were increased significantly under Salmonella enterica infection and LPS treatment. Thus, the AQP8 gene and bile secretion pathway may be important in IPEC-J2 cells under Salmonella enterica infection or LPS treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Composite materials are frequently exposed to external factors during their operational service, resulting in internal structural damage which subsequently impacts their structural performance. This paper employs ferromagnetic materials for their sensitivity to magnetic field strength. By detecting variations in the magnetic field within the embedded ferromagnetic microwires of composite materials, the aim is to indirectly assess the health status of the composite materials. Firstly, a theoretical numerical model for magnetic field intensity at the crack site was established. Subsequently, a finite element model was employed to analyze the variations in the magnetic characteristics of ferromagnetic microwires at the crack site. Under different parameter conditions, the patterns of magnetic signals at the crack site were determined. The results indicate that with an increase in the angle between the external magnetic field and the crack, the fitted curve of the magnetic signal shows a linear increase. The distance between the peak and valley of the radial magnetic signal in the axial direction decreases, and the axial magnetic signal transitions from double-peak to single-peak. With the increase in crack depth, the fitted curve of the magnetic signal shows a linear increase, and the magnetic signal at the crack tip also exhibits a linear increase. An increase in crack width leads to a non-linear decrease in the fitted curve of the magnetic signal, and after reaching a certain width, the magnetic signal stabilizes. For two identical cracks at different distances, the magnetic signal exhibits a transition from a complete pattern to two complete patterns. With the increase in the external magnetic field, the magnetic signal shows a completely regular linear increase. By analyzing and calculating the variations in magnetic signals, the patterns of magnetic characteristics under the damaged state of ferromagnetic microwires were obtained. Ochratoxin A (OTA) is one of the mycotoxins that poses a serious threat to human and animal health. Curcumin (CUR) is a major bioactive component of turmeric that provides multiple health benefits. CUR can reduce the toxicities induced by mycotoxins, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown. To explore the effects of CUR on OTA toxicity and identify the key regulators and metabolites involved in the biological processes, we performed metabolomic and transcriptomic analyses of livers from OTA-exposed mice. We found that CUR can alleviate the toxic effects of OTA on body growth and liver functions. In addition, CUR supplementation significantly affects the expressions of 1584 genes and 97 metabolites. Integrated analyses of transcriptomic and metabolomic data showed that the pathways including Arachidonic acid metabolism, Purine metabolism, and Cholesterol metabolism were significantly enriched. Pantothenic acid (PA) was identified as a key metabolite, the exogenous supplementation of which was observed to significantly alleviate the OTA-induced accumulation of reactive oxygen species and cell apoptosis. Further mechanistical analyses revealed that PA can downregulate the expression level of proapoptotic protein BAX, enhance the expression level of apoptosis inhibitory protein BCL2, and decrease the level of phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (pERK1/2). This study demonstrated that CUR can alleviate the adverse effects of OTA by influencing the transcriptomic and metabolomic profiles of livers, which may contribute to the application of CUR in food and feed products for the prevention of OTA toxicity. In this paper, the nonlinear response characteristics of a single degree of freedom lumped mass model with a new support looseness fault are analyzed. In this model, a new nonlinear contact stiffness model between the support and foundation is considered, which considers the elastic–plastic deformation of the contact parts. The nonlinear response of the system is obtained by numerical integration methods. The nonlinear results are compared with an asymmetric model and a piece-wise contact model. By comparing three different looseness fault models, the mechanism of generating multi-frequencies and fractional frequencies is analyzed. The result shows that plastic deformation makes the displacement amplitude increase rapidly; odd harmonics appear in symmetric stiffness model due to the modulation of symmetric shock forces; however, harmonic response appears in asymmetric stiffness model; when the contact number is odd, the frequency components contain odd or even order fractional frequencies at supercritical speeds due to the incompatibility of contacts on the upper and lower surfaces; when the contact number is even, multiple frequency components appear at subcritical frequencies.

Compared to widely adopted low‐dimensional/three‐dimensional (LD/3D) heterostructure, functional organic cation based surface termination on perovskite can not only realize advantage of defect passivation but also prevent potential disadvantage of the heterostructure induced intercalation into 3D perovskite. However, it is still very challenging to controllably construct surface termination on organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite because the functional organic cations' substitution reaction is easy to form LD/3D heterostructure. Here, we report using a novel benzyltrimethylammonium (BTA) functional cation with rational designed steric hindrance to effectively surface terminate onto methylammonium lead triiodide (MAPbI3) perovskite, which is composed of the most unstable MA cations. The BTA cation is difficult to form a specific 1.5‐dimensional perovskite of BTA4Pb3I10 by cation substitution with MA cation, which then provides a wide processing window (around 10 minutes) for surface terminating on MAPbI3 films. Moreover, the BTAI surface terminated BTAI‐MAPbI3 shows better passivation effect than BTA4Pb3I10‐MAPbI3 heterojunction. Finally, BTAI surface terminated solar cell (0.085 cm2) and mini‐module (11.52 cm2) obtained the efficiencies of 22.03 % and 18.57 %, which are among the highest efficiencies for MAPbI3 based ones. The prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is increasing annually, and emerging evidence suggests that the gut microbiota plays a causative role in the development of NAFLD. However, the role of gut microbiota in the development of NAFLD remains unclear and warrants further investigation. Thus, C57BL/6J mice were fed a high-fat diet (HFD), and we found that the HFD significantly induced obesity and increased the accumulation of intrahepatic lipids, along with alterations in serum biochemical parameters. Moreover, it was observed that the HFD also impaired gut barrier integrity. It was revealed via 16S rRNA gene sequencing that the HFD increased gut microbial diversity, which enriched Colidextribacter, Lachnospiraceae-NK4A136-group, Acetatifactor, and Erysipelatoclostridium. Meanwhile, it reduced the abundance of Faecalibaculum, Muribaculaceae, and Coriobacteriaceae-UCG-002. The predicted metabolic pathways suggest that HFD enhances the chemotaxis and functional activity of gut microbiota pathways associated with flagellar assembly, while also increasing the risk of intestinal pathogen colonization and inflammation. And the phosphotransferase system, streptomycin biosynthesis, and starch/sucrose metabolism exhibited decreases. These findings reveal the composition and predictive functions of the intestinal microbiome in NAFLD, further corroborating the association between gut microbiota and NAFLD while providing novel insights into its potential application in gut microbiome research for NAFLD patients.
