This paper reviews on hybrid systems (PV and Wind) for electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS). In the period of electrified transportation, insufficient infrastructure of charging and shortfall of energy storage technology are the serious issues to be conveyed which drive the market to switch hastily to electric vehicles (EV). Existing charging stations use electric grid for EV charging, but EV integration with electric grid results in the increase of stress on the grid. Due to this drawback, renewable energies like solar photovoltaic systems and wind systems are used. In this paper, EVCS overview and impacts on the grid have been investigated. This paper reviews the topologies of bidirectional converter that can be used in hybrid system for EVCS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
