In order to avoid the risk of high temperature in the key components of Mini‐LED LCM (Liquid crystal display Module), this paper studied the influencing factors of the temperature of Mini‐LED LCM, and provided the optimal design scheme of the LCM from the perspective of heat dissipation. Firstly, the thermal simulation model of 32‐inch Mini‐LED LCM was established, and the maximum temperature and temperature distribution of each component of the LCM were calculated. Then, the accuracy of the simulation model was verified by the temperature test results of 32‐inch Mini‐LED LCM physical prototype, and the error between simulation and measured temperature is less than 3℃. Furtherly, the temperature difference of LCM with different design schemes were compared by simulation, and the key influencing factors of LCM temperature and their influencing laws were analyzed. The simulation results have shown that LED type, LED power, LED number, LED board/bar material, back cover material and thickness are the key factors of LCM temperature. Finally, according to the influence laws of key factors, the optimal heat dissipation scheme of 27‐inch Mini‐LED LCM was designed. It has passed the LCM temperature test experiment, which avoids the high temperature risk and saves the cost of sample production and test.

The method of locking point layout optimization and stiffness configuration for multi-joint complex mechanisms of space manipulator is proposed based on the root adaptive growth theory. A simplified model of the space manipulator and 3D spring support model is established. According to the proposed layout optimization and stiffness configuration method, the parallel optimization method and finite element simulation software are utilized to simulate and analyze the differentiation process of space manipulator locking units and the manipulator systems with different stiffness configurations. The results of the layout optimization and stiffness configuration method are compared with the results of the conventional method. It is verified that the fundamental frequency of the optimization and configuration results is higher than that of the conventional method, and the effectiveness of the optimization and configuration method is verified.

By comparing the liquid crystal azimuths of Mura area and OK area, it is concluded that there are differences between azimuths of Mura area and OK area when they are compared with the azimuths of theoretical, but the differences between azimuths of Mura area and azimuths of theoretical are larger. It is proved that the differences can be reduced by directional adjustment of TFT/CF exposure energy and optimization of specific substrate PI film thickness, Improve the taste level of products, and at the same time, improve the panel transmittance.

In order to solve the problem of peel between display panel and backlight module in new display products such as four-sided borderless display and curved display, in this paper, the peel strength of foam tape was studied through experiment and simulation, and the peel stress strength of the foam tape was established to guide product design. Firstly, the peel stress of foam tape was obtained by peel strength experiment of foam tape samples. Then, the simulation model was established by using finite element software, and the load weight corresponding to the tilt experiment of the 27-inch four-sided borderless display was calculated. Finally, the accuracy of the simulation model was verified by the tilt experiment of 27-inch display, and the peel stress strength of the foam tape was established. The peel stress was about 1.94×10 -2MPa. Based on the peel stress strength, the minimum width of foam tape for 23.8-inch four-sided borderless display was 1.5 mm. The display passed the 60 ℃/90% RH HTHHS 500 hours experiment, meeting the product quality requirements. This method can guide the size design of foam tape for new display products such as four-sided borderless display and curved display, and enhance the ultimate design competitiveness of products.

Organic acid content is one of the most important factors influencing fruit flavors. The predominant organic acid in most pear cultivars is malic acid, but the mechanism controlling its accumulation remains unclear. In this study, by comparing gene expression levels and organic acid contents, we found that the expression of PbPH5, which encodes a P3A-ATPase, is highly correlated with malic acid accumulation in four different pear species, with correlation coefficients of 0.932**, 0.656*, 0.900**, and 0.518* (*, P<0.05; **, P<0.01) for Pyrus bretschneideriRehd., P. communisLinn., P. pyrifoliaNakai., and P. ussuriensisMaxim., respectively. Moreover, the overexpression of PbPH5in pear significantly increased the malic acid content. In contrast, silencing PbPH5 viaRNA interference significantly decreased both its transcript level and the pear fruit malic acid content. A subcellular localization analysis indicated that PbPH5 is located in the tonoplast. Additionally, a phylogenetic analysis indicated that PbPH5is a PH5homolog gene that is clustered with the Petunia hybrida, Malus domestica, and Citrus reticulatagenes. Considered together, these findings suggest that PbPH5is a functionally conserved gene. Furthermore, the accumulation of malic acid in pear fruit is at least partly related to changes in the PbPH5transcription levels.

To study the pore-scale two-phase flow, a method for extracting and reconstructing the pore structure by scanning electron microscopy and combining the conservative level-set method and Navier–Stokes equations for the solution was introduced. The results show that the water–gas interface exhibits a gentle U-shape upon the consideration of interfacial tension. The pore diameter, connectivity, and pore throat size have a direct effect on the displacement velocity. The larger the pore diameter is, the faster the displacement is. A smaller pore throat will hinder the displacement. In addition, better pore connectivity also plays a decisive role in displacement. A water-lock effect will develop at the end of the pore, causing the gas to be trapped by the water. The fluid is displaced faster in pores that extend in the same direction as the flow than in pores that are perpendicular to the flow direction. The simulation was performed again by neglecting the effect of interfacial tension while keeping other conditions constant. The results show that the water–gas interface is a sharper V-shape and the area of gas in the pore space is smaller at the end of the simulation. In summary, reducing the interfacial tension of the liquid phase in the replacement process can effectively improve the replacement efficiency.

This paper presents a plan of an information integrating platform based on the client/server technology, named HIT-IIP which developed in Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). The function structure, the system architecture and the detailed implementation plan of the HIT-IIP are proposed. The static aeroelastic torsion divergence problem is the main obstacle to bring forward swept wing into massive applications. The aeroelastic tailoring technique-based radial basis function neural networks (RBFNNs) and genetic algorithm (GA) optimization in MATLAB considering the material orientation, thickness, and lay-up are elucidated in the present work. RBFNNs are used to build a surrogate model between the composite parameters and structure displacement, which is proved robust and accurate. Then an optimal structure is obtained by GA global search based on RBFNNs model with the weight constrain. The displacements of the forward swept wing caused by an approximate aerodynamic load are decreased 32.5% through finite element method (FEM) static structural analysis. The modal analysis illustrates that the first mode frequency increases by 33.0% and the second mode increases by 37.9%. A computational aeroelasticity approach is developed by in-house Hybrid Unstructured Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes solver associating an open source FEM code – Calculix. The results of coupling calculations show effectiveness of aeroelastic tailoring optimization of composite forward swept wing without weight penalty. The results obtained demonstrate that for the forward swept wing, the most violent situation appears around Mach Number 1.0 where the aeroelastic tailoring optimization could decrease the torsion angle by nearly 70.0%. The torsion of forward swept wing will increase at subsonic and decrease at supersonic with the increase of velocity.

Most of the search engines on the Internet are in English, but non-English speaking Internet population need a multilingual browsing on the net. A proposal is made for a generic and integrated approach to browse the net, for all multilingual users, details of which are explained.

As part of the master plan for the infrastructure of the road network in the southern Africa area, a suspension bridge is being built in Maputo, Mozambique. The bridge over the Maputo Bay has an open span of 680 m between pylons and is anchored on the north and south side of the Bay by massive anchor blocks that are built in deep shafts constructed by circular diaphragm walls. With an outer diameter of 50 m and an excavation depth of 15 m and 36 m respectively, these shafts are among the largest presently being built in the world for a suspension bridge. The diaphragm wall panels of the walls reach down to a depth of 56 m into the fine sandstone and siltstone.The pylons and the approach bridges north and south are founded on piles with diameters of 1.50 m to 2.20 m and reach a maximum depth of 110 m. Construction material has been carefully selected and the use of local material as well as approved imported material and products to guarantee a 16-hour retarding time needed for the concreting procedure of the foundation elements.

Coal seam destabilization inflicts damage to equipment, causes property loss and personnel casualties, and severely threatens mining safety and efficient production. To further understand this destabilization based on the basic theory of Lippmann seam destabilization, a mathematical model was introduced for gas pressure distribution by considering intermediate principal stress and support resistance. Subsequently, we established a translation model suitable for the entire roadway coal seam with rocky roof and floor by applying the unified form of yield criterion in the state of plane strain. We also obtained the analytic expressions of coal seam stress distribution on both sides of the roadway and the widths of plastic and disturbance zones. Afterward, we analyzed several typical cases with different material yield criteria, obtained the plastic zone widths of the coal seam under different gas pressures, and assessed the effects of support resistance, roadway size, and coal strength on coal seam destabilization. Results showed that: the results obtained on the basis of Wilson and Mohr–Coulomb criteria are considerably conservative, and the use of Druker–Prager criteria to evaluate the rockburst-induced coal seam destabilization is safer than the use of the two other criteria; coal seam stability is correlated with gas pressure; and high-pressure gas accelerates the coal seam destabilization.

This paper analyzes regional hydrogeological conditions and divides the study area into three hydrogeological types and seven hydrogeological units, to investigate hydrogeology and its effect on coalbed methane (CBM) enrichment in the southern Junggar Basin, China. From this work, it is found that the groundwater flow paths in the study area are the joint effects of south-to-north and west-to-east flows. This study also shows that microbial gases are widely developed, although the depth limit of microbial gas occurrence is still unclear in the study area. Microbial CO2 reduction is the leading formation path in the study area, except for the Houxia region, where fermentation is the formation mechanism. The abnormally high CO2 in stagnant zones (i.e., water flow is slow and stagnant) is mainly associated with methanogenesis, whereas relatively low CO2 (microbial or thermogenic) is present where water flow is active. The average CBM content within the Xishanyao Formation changes within various hydrogeological units; moreover, the average CBM content within the Badaowan Formation of the same hydrogeological unit (e.g., Fukang) suggests that the hydrogeological and CBM enrichment conditions are different within various structural types. Overall, the hydrogeological conditions exert control on the gas content in the study area; that is, the gas content is high in stagnant zones. Finally, influenced by supplemental microbial gases, changes in the CBM oxidation zone are relatively complex in the study area, the depth of which has no obvious correlation with hydrogeological conditions and changes significantly from west to east. In order to realize maneuver combat in the modern warfare, some special military vehicles require the ability of determining their position and orientation rapidly and accurately, and the position and orientation system should be highly autonomous and have strong anti-jamming capability. So a high-accuracy independent position and orientation method for vehicles that utilizes strapdown inertial navigation system/Doppler radar is presented in this article. Laser gyroscopes in strapdown inertial navigation system and Doppler radar are adopted to develop a dead-reckoning system for vehicles. Subsequently, the attitude, velocity,and position-updating algorithms of dead-reckoning system are designed. The error sources of dead-reckoning system are analyzed to establish the system error model, including the attitude error equations of the mathematical platform, velocity error equations, and position error equations. The errors of strapdown inertial navigation system and deadreckoning system are selected as system states of the integrated position and orientation method. The difference between the attitude output of strapdown inertial navigation system and that of dead-reckoning system, and the difference between the position output of strapdown inertial navigation system and that of dead-reckoning system are chosen as the measurements of integrated position and orientation. Then, Kalman filter is adopted to design the filtering algorithm of integrated position and orientation. In the end, the integrated position and orientation method is validated by simulation experiment and vehicular experiment. The experimental results show that strapdown inertial navigation system/Doppler radar integration can realize accurate positioning and orientation for a long time, and the accuracy of attitude/position integration mode is significantly higher than that of velocity/position integration mode. Therefore, the former integration mode is more suitable for accurate position and orientation for vehicles.

In this study, we selected 9 typical coal samples with different metamorphic grades as the study subjects, measured their initial 30-min gas desorption at 30°C and different pressure using a self-developed gas adsorption/desorption device. Based on the characteristics of gas desorption from coal samples, we proposed a direct fitting method for measurement of gas content in coalbed, analyzed the effects of sampling time on the measurement results and determined the reasonable sampling time of coal samples with different metamorphic grades at different gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium. The results show that (1) the error of gas contents obtained using the direct fitting method relative to that obtained using indirect method is less than 10%, which meets the actual on-site requirements and verifies the feasibility of the direct fitting method; (2) when the relative error is controlled within ±10%, the reasonable sampling time of coal samples is linearly related to the gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium; (3) the reasonable sampling time of coal samples with the same metamorphic grade exhibits a shortening trend with increasing gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium; (4) for coal samples with similar gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium, the reasonable sampling time of coal samples displays a shortening trend with increasing metamorphic grade. Overall, the study provides a basis for improving the measurement accuracy of gas content in coalbed.

In the present study, several most commonly used planetary boundary layer (PBL) parameterization schemes in the WRF model are utilized together with the observational data at Shouxian (from August to December, 2008). The present work is a part of Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) facility supported by the U.S. Department of Energy installed at Shouxian in China. In this study, we compared the simulation effect of meteorological elements and the structure of PBL over typical farmlands underlying surface from different parameterization schemes between clear and overcast days. The observational results revealed that for the simulation of cloud status, non-local schemes such as ACM2 and YSU are superior to the local schemes. Further, the ACM2 scheme is better in simulating temperature and vapor at a height of 2 m from the surface, and the MYJ scheme has an advantage over other schemes when simulating the wind direction or its speed. Also, for the simulation of potential temperature and vapor profile, non-local schemes (ACM2 and YSU) are superior to the local schemes both during clear and overcast days. It is depicted that the ACM2 scheme has better advantages when simulating under weak stable conditions and humidity inversion structure during night time. Moreover, for the simulation of wind speed profile, the MYJ and MYNN2.5 schemes are the best respectively during the clear and overcast days, under unstable day time condition. However, when considering weak stable condition, ACM2 scheme has a minimum deviation on clear days and YSU scheme is the best choice on overcast days. From the overall results, ACM2 scheme is superior both on clear and overcast days, when simulation is based on typical farmland underlying surface.

ABSTRACTNucleoside or nucleotide inhibitors are a highly successful class of antivirals due to selectivity, potency, broad coverage, and high barrier to resistance. Nucleosides are the backbone of combination treatments for HIV, hepatitis B virus, and, since the FDA approval of sofosbuvir in 2013, also for hepatitis C virus (HCV). However, many promising nucleotide inhibitors have advanced to clinical trials only to be terminated due to unexpected toxicity. Here we describe the in vitropharmacology of compound 1, a monophosphate prodrug of a 2′-ethynyluridine developed for the treatment of HCV. Compound 1 inhibits multiple HCV genotypes in vitro(50% effective concentration [EC50], 0.05 to 0.1 μM) with a selectivity index of >300 (50% cytotoxic concentration [CC50], 30 μM in MT-4 cells). The active triphosphate metabolite of compound 1, compound 2, does not inhibit human α, β, or γ DNA polymerases but was a substrate for incorporation by the human mitochondrial RNA polymerase (POLRMT). In dog, the oral administration of compound 1 resulted in elevated serum liver enzymes and microscopic changes in the liver. Transmission electron microscopy showed significant mitochondrial swelling and lipid accumulation in hepatocytes. Gene expression analysis revealed dose-proportional gene signature changes linked to loss of hepatic function and increased mitochondrial dysfunction. The potential of in vivotoxicity through mitochondrial polymerase incorporation by nucleoside analogs has been previously shown. This study shows that even moderate levels of nucleotide analog incorporation by POLRMT increase the risk of in vivomitochondrial dysfunction. Based on these results, further development of compound 1 as an anti-HCV compound was terminated.

In the present work, the synergistic effect of components on the mineral behavior in the SiO2-Al2O3-CaO-FeOxquaternary system was tentatively evaluated. The mineral transformation and reaction were analyzed by thermo-mechanical analyzer (TMA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermodynamic calculation (FactSage). In addition, the apparent viscosities of synthetic slags, expressed as a function of temperature and composition, were determined using a high temperature rotary viscometer with temperature ranging from 1700°C to re-solidifying temperature. The results demonstrated that the TMA and DSC approaches were applicable to characterize the mineral behavior under in-situconditions. Silica and alumina preferred to be transformed to high temperature cristobalite and α-alumina with relatively stable structure and high viscosity, respectively. On the other hand, the reaction and transformation of silica and alumina could be accelerated by some valuable fluxing agents, particularly calcium oxide and iron oxides. The addition of ferrous oxide into synthetic slags could lower its viscosity compared with that of ferric oxide and ferroferric oxide. Furthermore, the reduction of iron oxides to metallic iron remarkably increased the viscosity. Ferric oxide may take part in the random glass network in a similar fashion with alumina. Besides, iron oxides with the oxidation state of Fe2+may also act as a modifier under slightly reducing conditions and higher temperatures. The sensitivity of viscosity of mineral matters to temperature excursion decreased with increasing calcium oxide content as calcium oxide was able to enhance the solution ability of iron oxides in the SiO2-Al2O3-CaO-FeOxquaternary system.

The objective of this article is to simulate a piezoelectric cantilever beam generator with power harvesting from ambient vibration energy. This power device will act as the electrical energy supply of a micro-system, which can be used in inaccessible situations, to eliminate dependence on batteries. Optimization of the micro-silicon-based piezoelectric cantilever parameters was achieved by determining the most advantageous dimensions for the piezoelectric generator, while varying the beam length, width, thickness, proof mass weight and so on. The program also made sure that the piezoelectric cantilever beam structure’s natural frequency is equal to the desired input frequency from the ambient exciting vibration. In addition, a prototype miniature generator was fabricated with bulk silicon combined with etching.

In traditional Hanbury Brown-Twiss (HBT) schemes, thermal intensity-intensity correlations (IICs) are phase insensitive. Here we propose a modified HBT scheme with phase conjugation to demonstrate phase-sensitive and nonfactorizable features of thermal IIC speckles. It shows that the novel phase-sensitive features originate from the correlation between the original and phase-conjugated thermal hight. Our numerical simulation confirms the possibility of experimental realization, even for the cases of the imperfect phase conjugation. Unlike two-photon speckles, our scheme uses thermal hight sources, not the entangled two-photon sources. Our result provides deeper insight into thermal correlations and may lead to significant applications in imaging and speckle technologies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Phytochemical investigation of the stem wood of Dipterocarpus alatus led to the isolation and characterization of four new oligostilbenoids, dipterocarpols A-D (1-4), together with two known resveratrol oligomers, hopeahainol (5) and hopeafuran (6). The structures of the new compounds were determined by comprehensive spectral analysis including 1D and 2D NMR, and high-resolution MS. The absolute configurations were determined by NOESYand CD spectra. Dipterocarpol A (1) and hopeahainol A (5) showed moderate acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity with IC50 values of 8.28 µM and 11.28 µM, respectively. Furthermore, the discovery of compound 3 gave the first evidence that the biosynthetic origin of resveratrol aneuploids is related to the loss of a half resveratrol unit by oxidative cleavage. The full-length Mlogene was obtained by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and RACE. The result of sequence analysis indicated that Mlogene from Pericallishybrida B. Nord. contained about 1 296 bp open reading frame and encoded 431 amino acids. According to the comparison of the exogenous gene sequences by BLAST analysis and phylogenetic analysis, Mlogene shared over 85% nucleotide homology and 98% amino acid homology. Finally, through semi-quantitative-PCR and fluorescence quantitative analysis, we found that Mlogene showed the highest expression levels in leaves and the lowest in roots after inoculated with powdery mildew pathogen for different days.

In this article, we study the momentum dependence of the hadronic coupling constants GBc*Bc&Upsi;, GBc*BcJ/Ψ, GBcBc&Upsi;, and GBcBcJ/Ψ with the off-shell &Upsi; and J/Ψ using the three-point QCD sum rules. Then we fit the hadronic coupling constants into analytical functions and extrapolate them into deep time-like regions to obtain the on-shell values GBc*Bc&Upsi; (q²=MΨ²), GBc*BcJ/&Upsi;(q²=MJ/Ψ²), GBcBc&Upsi;(q²=M&Upsi;²), and GBcBcJ/Ψ(q²=MJ/Ψ²) for the first time. Analytical light-bullet solutions of a (3 + 1 )-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with inhomogeneous diffraction or dispersion and nonlinearity in the presence of the harmonic and parity-time-symmetric potentials are explored. Diffraction or dispersion and nonlinearity play important roles in the evolutional characteristics such as amplitude, width, and phase. The compression and broadening behaviors of light bullets are discussed and compared in the exponential, Gaussian and hyperbolic diffraction or dispersion decreasing media and the periodic distributed amplification system. In this article, we tentatively identify the charmed mesons DJ(2580), DJ*(2650), DJ(2740), DJ*(2760), DJ(3000), DJ*(3000) observed by the LHCb Collaboration according to their spin, parity, and masses. Then we study their strong decays to the ground state charmed mesons plus light pseudoscalar mesons with the heavy meson effective theory in the leading order approximation, and we obtain explicit expressions of the decay widths. The ratios among the decay widths can be used to confirm or reject the assignments of the newly observed charmed mesons. The strong coupling constants in the decay widths can be fitted to the experimental data in the future at the LHCb, BESIII, KEK-B, and PANDA. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we study the performance of physical-layer network coding in asymmetric two-way relay channels using four different cases having different poor channels: phase asymmetry, downlink asymmetry, uplink asymmetry and node asymmetry. The decision and mapping rule for symmetric and asymmetric cases are studied. The performance in terms of bit error rate for each case will be studied and analysed by computer simulation. Analytical and simulation results show that uplink asymmetry is the worst case; intra-phase asymmetry and unreliable uplink channels will more severely affect the performance degradation, which is caused by channel asymmetry.

Some examples of dialectics philosophy in higher mathematics are illustrated in this paper. Firstly, the principle of interconversion between quality and quantity in dialectics philosophy is quantified by the mathematical definition of the limit theory. Secondly, some natural and social phenomena imply the definition of continuous function in incremental form and it is a new explanation for the Zeno paradox. Finally, the dialectics relationship between the local change and the whole change of some variables is discussed in the differential median theorems.

Degenerate primers were designed based on the conserved sequences of the Actingene from other plants. Total RNA was extracted from the leaves of Iris lacteal var.chinensis Fisch.Koidz. Actingene fragment was obtained by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and cloned into pMD18-T vector. The positive clone identified by PCR was sequenced. The sequencing result showed that the Actingene fragment from Iris lacteal var.chinensis Fisch.Koidz contained about 598 bp, encoding 199 amino acids. Homology comparison with Actingene sequences of other plants in the GenBank showed that it shared over 82% nucleotide sequence homology and 90% amino acid sequence homology. It indicated that this was the Actingene. Because of the stability expression of Actingene, it usually cited as the internal reference to study the expression and regulation of foundation in other genes of Iris lacteal var.chinensis Fisch.Koidz well.

In order to study the alkali resistivity of VHA-cin Iris lacteal.(IrlVHA-c), the transgenic tobacco seedlings harboring IrlVHA-cgene from Iris lactea(T0), the self-crossed progeny (T1), and the non-transgenic lines of tobacco seedlings were grown in Hoagland nutrient solutions supplemented with 0, 100, 200, 300, 400 mmol • L−1NaHCO3. The MDA content, CAT, POD and SOD activity, electrical conductivity, chlorophyll content, soluble sugar content, proline content and polyphenol oxidase activity of the seedlings were determined. The results showed that the transgenic lines of tobacco maintained a high activity up to 200 mmol • L−1NaHCO3, and activity was slightly lower at 300 mmol • L−1NaHCO3. When the concentration of NaHCO3was as high as 400 mmol • L−1the seedlings were badly hurt. In addition, the activity of T0and T1transgentic tobacoo was maintained more or less. While the non-transgenic lines of tobacco could maintain viably up to 100 mmol • L−1NaHCO3, and they could not survive at 400 mmol • L−1NaHCO3. The conclusion was drawn that the alkali resistance of the tobacoo transformed IrlVHA-cwas noticeably improved.

Our novel approach is a hybrid between cylindrical abdominoperineal resection and single-incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS). We report the clinical application of this technique and present preliminary data that shows this approach to be an effective tool for resection of low rectal cancer.
