Banyaknya peserta didik yang notabene masih berusia anak-anak mengalami degradasi moral, maka perlunya pembentukan karakter melalui kegiatan morning activity sebagai pembiasaan yang mengarah kepada perubahan karakter secara positif di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alur kegiatan morning activity, karakter yang diupayakan muncul dari kegiatan morning activity, dan evaluasi sekolah terhadap kegiatan morning activity. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Perolehan data dalam penelitian dilakukan melalui instrumen observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik Miles and Huberman. Data penelitian ini divalidasi menggunakan teknik bahan referensi, triangulasi, dan konfirmability. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari koordinator morning activity, orang guru wali kelas, satu orang asisten guru (guru tahfizh), dan lima belas peserta didik kelas tinggi salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan antara lain (1) alur kegiatan yang dilakukan merupakan manifestasi dari visi dan misi sekolah diisi dengan membaca zikir dan surat al Kahfi setiap hari Jumat, (2) karakter yang berkembang yakni tanggung jawab, mandiri, dan kedisiplinan, serta (3) evaluasi yang dilaksanakan yakni koordinator melakukan kontrol secara rutin ke setiap kelas. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan morning activity dapat menjadi wadah perantara pembentukan karakter seperti religius, mandiri, tanggung jawab, dan disiplin.

Kemampuan berpikir ilmiah merupakan kecakapan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik di persekolahan pada abad 21. Upaya menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir ilmiah dilakukan guru dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir ilmiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 60 peserta didik, yang terbagi kedalam 2 kelas, kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, sedangkan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol digunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah. Data pengaruh diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir ilmiah, dilaksanakan sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan paired sample t test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa, 1) terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir ilmiah, dengan demikian H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, 2) tidak terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran ceramah terhadap kemampuan berpikir ilmiah, dengan demikian H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir ilmiah dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah.

The purpose of this study was to identify the role of Instagram media in Destination Branding among teenagers in Bukittinggi City. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, to present a complete picture of the role of Instagram media with the Instagramable phenomenon in the formation of branding destinations among final year teenagers. The results of this study are to identify the extent to which Instagram media plays a role in the formation of branding destinations among late-level teenagers. This research was conducted by discussing Tourism, Branding Destinations, New Media (Instagram), Instagramable, and Gen Z specifications for late teens with an age range of 18-21 years and taking a case study in Bukittinggi City.

Liang Ndara is a tourism village that is developed based on culture. The distance from Komodo National Park is about 20 km with a travel time of only 45 minutes. The number of tourist visits continues to increase, but the increase is much faster to Komodo National Park than to Liang Ndara Village. The purpose of this study was to find out the attractions in Liang Ndara Tourism Village and what obstacles faced by tourists visiting Komodo National Park to come to Liang Ndara Tourism Village. The research was conducted using a survey method with a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The number of respondents was 250 people, and the data was obtained qualitatively with percentages as a means of interpretation. The results showed that Liang Ndara Village has natural, cultural and historical attractions, but accessibility, amenities, and tourism activities are still limited. The main obstacle for tourists not to visit Liang Ndara village is ignorance and travel agents do not introduce or market Liang Ndara Village. Therefore, marketing and promotion need to be carried out in an integrated manner, and the government can be the spearhead to socialize Liang Ndara Village both directly to the tourist market and to travel agents.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam kearifan lokal Sabilulungan di kampung adat Cikodang. Gerakan pengembangan kearifan lokal mengutamakan karakter gotong royong, persatuan dan kebersamaan untuk menciptakan hubungan relasi sosial yang harmonis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengungkap data secara mendalam yang ada di lokasi penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Responden terdiri dari sesepuh atau tokoh adat, warga kampung adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sabilulungan merupakan salah satu kearifan lokal yang ada di masyarakat Sunda yang menekankan pada prinsip kerukunan hidup. Selain itu, nilai kearifan lokal Sabilulungan yaitu gotong-royong, kesatuan, kebersamaan, keadilan dan kemanusiaan. Nilai kearifan lokal Sabilulungan di kampung adat Cikondang terbukti mampu menjaga harmonisasi dalam aktivitas gotong-royong dalam kesehariannya dan di setiap tradisi adat dilandasi spontanitas. Konsep Sabilulungan dalam dunia pendidikan dalam rangka membantu seseorang mencapai pembentukan karakter yang menghasilkan generasi yang memiliki watak, kepribadian, serta peradaban yang bermartabat.

The problem of protecting the environment is often not considered properly. Including the maintenance and management of the Sekanak Lambidaro River in Palembang, which was once a garbage dump and surrounded by slums. So it certainly makes damage to the place of an ecosystem of flora and fauna that exist in the environment. Not to mention that the endless cultural conflicts between the Sekanak River area have become a problem in the city of Palembang. So, a Sekanak Lambidaro Palembang River Festival was held in order to make the community affected by the bad environment more livable. Through activities that are oriented towards a green environment based on the concept of sustainable development. This concept is used so as not to make people continue to be influenced by the great world of globalization at the moment. By using a descriptive qualitative research method with the aim of being able to find out how useful this festival is in increasing the awareness of the people of Palembang City in nature and cultural conservation by applying the principles of ecotourism and sustainable tourism.

This research was conducted to identify the potential of ecotourism in Tanggamus district in optimizing the role of tourism in the economy and community welfare, it is necessary to develop a sustainable tourism development based on an adequate understanding of the characteristics, conditions and constraints faced by tourism business actors. This development needs to be supported by appropriate financing and investment schemes. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive method with an inductive approach or solving existing problems and finding a complete understanding of the object being observed with research, as well as collecting data through direct observations made by researchers on 25-28 February 2022, interviews and documentation. In collecting qualitative data, the author conducted interviews with 20 informants using the snowball method consisting of the Head of the Tourism and Culture in Tanggamus Regency, Communities around tourist objects, tourists, managers, and MSME business actors. The development of tourist areas has not involved stakeholders outside the village, such as universities and the private sector. The absence of regulations on the management of ecotourism areas, the lack of budget allocations, the absence of a uniform cost system related to entrance tickets and profit sharing between the village and the manager, the opportunistic behavior of a small part of the community are institutional obstacles in the development of the ecotourism area. Based on the results of the study in this study, the proposed development of coastal ecotourism areas is sustainable tourism, which involves local governments, the private sector, academics, local communities, and the mass media.

The tourist net power of Bandung District is relatively small compared to West Bandung District and Bandung City, even though the number of tourist objects is the most compared to the two regions. One of the attractions in Bandung district is Situ Cileunca, which has historical value, natural value and cultural beauty, but the number of tourists continues to decrease. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tourist attractions and facilities on visitor satisfaction at Situ Cileuca Pangalengan. The research was conducted through a survey of 100 respondents. The data was processed quantitatively through SPSS software. The results of the instrument test showed that it was valid and reliable to be applied. Attractions and facilities show a good classification and have a significant effect. The coefficient of determination is 65.60%, the remaining 34.40% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to improve the quality of service, the quality of attractions and facilities as well as digital promotions, so that tourist satisfaction can be increased and the attractiveness of tourism is more socialized among the wider community.

Tourism is an industrial sector that provides many benefits for survival, one of which is economic benefits. Tourism consists of three parts: style, culture, and artificial. One of the tours that are currently being developed is cultural tourism. Cultural tourism is tourism that displays local wisdom to attract tourists. One cultural tour that requires management development is the cultural tourism of the Sa'o traditional house in Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The Sa'o traditional house is an original traditional house belonging to the Bajawa ethnic community, which is in the traditional Bena village. This study aims to analyze the cultural tourism potential of the Sa'o traditional house for tourism development. The research method used in this research is mini research which is qualitative with a literature study approach. This research is a type of library research. The study results show that the Sa'o traditional house located in the traditional village of Bena has enormous potential to be developed and promoted in cultural tourism. The Sa'o traditional house has its characteristics: special sections consisting of teda Wewa, teda one, and one. The Sa'o traditional house has a symbolic meaning for the Bajawa ethnic community consisting of Ngadhu, Bhaga, Watu Lewa, and Nabe. In developing the cultural tourism of the Sa'o traditional house, the participation of the government and the surrounding community is needed. An analysis of the inhibiting factors for cultural tourism of the Sa'o traditional house is needed.Keywords: Sa'O Traditional House, Bajawa Ethnicity, Cultural Tourism, Development

This research aims to see how to learn geography, how students' disaster preparedness are, and how the contribution of geography learning to disaster preparedness of students in Public Senior High School in Kendari. By using quantitative approach, the data were collected through observation and questionnaires in 5 schools in Kendari which were distributed to 150 students and 10 teachers. The results of students' learning geography with several indicators are presented as follows; with learning variable, 12.5% is categorized as low, 46.5% moderate, 41% high; with preparedness variable, 25.5% is categorized as low, 49.5% medium, 25% high. There is a contribution of geography learning to disaster preparedness with the coefficient of determination R square (R2) of 39.4% while 60.6% is from other factors. Then, the influence of X on Y can be written in the form of a regression equation, namely (Y = 55.998 + 0.159 X). Based on the regression equation, it can be denied that geography learning has a positive correlation with disaster preparedness of students in Public Senior High School in Kendari

Preparedness is the main competency that must be possessed by disaster-prone communities, including students. Preparedness is built on knowledge. Previous research shows the level of student preparedness varies greatly, but there is no explanation yet about the relationship of knowledge and other factors that affect student preparedness. In addition, preparedness measures have not yet examined the component of disaster markers or precursors. This research was conducted to describe the factors associated with the level of student preparedness. The study population was science education students and the research sample was determined purposively, so that 104 science students took IPBA courses as samples. Research is descriptive research. Data collection was carried out through a TPPG preparedness questionnaire and an earthquake precursor knowledge test. In addition, secondary data in the form of UTS values are also used that represent basic earthly knowledge that is relevant to earthquake preparedness. The results showed that 1) TPPG preparedness for students was in the moderate / sufficient category, 2) preparedness was influenced by the area of origin of students and was not influenced by gender and earth knowledge, 3) students' knowledge of earthquake markers was very low. Kesiapsiagaan merupakan kompetensi utama yang harus dimiliki oleh masyarakat rawan bencana, termasuk pada mahasiswa. Kesiapsiagaan dibangun oleh pengetahuan. Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan level kesiapsiagaan mahasiswa sangat bervariasi, namun belum terdapat penjelasan tentang hubungan pengetahuan dan faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi kesiapsiagaan mahasiswa. Selain itu, pengukuran kesiapsiagaan belum mengkaji komponen penanda bencana atau prekursor. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan level kesiapsiagaan mahasiswa. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiwa pendidikan IPA dan penentuan sampel penelitian dilakukan secara purposive, sehingga sebanyak 104 mahasiwa pendidikan IPA yang mengambil matakuliah IPBA ditetapkan sebagai sampel. Penelitian merupakan penelitian deksriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket kesiapsiagaan TPPG dan tes pengetahuan prekursor gempabumi. Selain itu, juga digunakan data sekunder berupa nilai Ujian Tengah Semester yang merespresentasikan pengetahuan dasar kebumian yang relevan dengan kesiapsiagaan gempabumi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Korelasi Kendalls’ tau dan kuantitatif-deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) kesiapsiagaan TPPG pada mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang/cukup, 2) kesiapsiagaan dipengaruhi oleh daerah asal mahasiswa dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh jenis kelamin dan pengetahuan kebumian, 3) pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang penanda gempabumi sangat rendah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa daerah asal memengaruhi kesiapsiagaan TPPG mahasiswa pendidikan IPA.

One of Indonesia's problems is its rapid population increase. The population growth rate for Indonesia between 2010 and 2020 is 1.49%. North Sukabumi is a developing region of Sukabumi Regency with a greater population and population growth rate than Southern Sukabumi. Family Planning Village is one of the government's initiatives to address the issue of population increase. This research aims at assessing the growth of KB village areas and the evolution of the KB village program in North Sukabumi from 2017 to 2020. This study employs a descriptive quantitative GIS-based methodology. This study used scoring and weighting analysis to analyze its data. The growth of the KB village program in North Sukabumi from 2017 to 2020 is often shown on a map including two pieces of information: a diagram of the development of the KB village program each year and the percentage of the overall development of the KB Village program from 2017 to 2020. The findings of this research show that the number of KB villages continues to expand each year, with 94 KB villages existing by 2020. Furthermore, the growth of the KB village initiative in North Sukabumi between 2017 and 2020 is highly encouraging (60.90 %). This study is valuable to the government, KB village managers, and communities as it pertains to the improvement of family/community welfare via the KB Village program.

West Nusa Tenggara is a province inhabited by three main ethnic groups namely the Sasak, Samawa, and Mbojo tribes. Several problems triggered inter-ethnic conflict in West Nusa Tenggara, causing losses. This study aims to: 1) find out the root causes of inter-ethnic conflict in West Nusa Tenggara; 2) knowing how to respond to social disasters between ethnic conflicts; 3) formulating the concept of the values of Pancasila as a basis for learning disaster mitigation between ethnic conflicts. This research uses descriptive method with historiographic approach. Data are systematically collected and analyzed, especially those related to inter-ethnic conflict in NTB in the past. The results of the research show: 1) the background of inter-ethnic conflict in NTB is dominated by lack of communication, interests, emotional involvement, and weak self-control so that people are easily provoked; 2) social disasters between ethnic conflicts can be addressed or anticipated by learning in schools, especially using video media, so that it is known how inter-ethnic conflict occurs, what are the losses incurred, conclude and provide positive advice in overcoming ethnic conflict through group discussions; 3) the concept of Pancasila values that can be implemented in learning to minimize conflicts between ethnic groups, among others, believe in the unity of God, the creator of the environment and the universe and their contents, maintaining order, respecting the opinions of others, helping one another when conflicts occur and not damaging the environment and other public facilities.

The typical geological structure of West Sumatra causes a high risk of earthquakes. Therefore, the ability of disaster context science literacy (LSKB) needs to be developed in order to students can apply science to solve problems related earthquakes. The research aims to describe the characteristics of the early science literacy abilities of science education students about earthquake markers. The knowledge aspect of scientific literacy is focused on the procedural and epistemic domains. Determination of research subjects by purposive sampling involving 70 students. Data collection was carried out with thorough tests and surveys using the LSKB Test and the Disaster Preparedness Questionnaire. Data were analyzed quantitatively-descriptive. The results showed that: 1) The level of mastery in the domain of procedural and epistemic knowledge was 38.18 and 19.12, included in the very low category, 2) In procedural knowledge, students already had sufficient knowledge in determining variables but had problems making graphs and graphical interpretations, 3) In epistemic knowledge, analysis and inference most mastered by students, 4) the characteristics of procedural and epistemic knowledge are content novelty, contextuality, dimensions of inquiry, scientific exploration and data visualization. It can be concluded that the level of mastery of procedural and epistemic domain knowledge in science students is still moderate, and it requires training in the three domains of scientific literacy

This study is derived from the fact that the eco-friendly character has still not been widely performed and the students’ geoliteracy has not been highly developed in social studies learning (IPS) in junior high schools in Bandung. This study is aimed at producing a social studies learning model which is expected to be an effort to build eco-friendly character, namely the Geographic Literacy Based Model in Building Eco-Friendly Character (BLG-KPL Model). The method used in this study is Research & Development (R&D). The study consists of preliminary session including the identification of needs (needs assessment), model development that includes some expert judgment, limited and extensive trials, and effectiveness test on the influence and the effect size. This research article will only describe the stage of developing the model with the assumption that the preliminary session has passed through extensive testing. The subjects of the study are teachers and the students in several junior high schools in Bandung. The data analysis of the model development consists of the feasibility test from the expert by conducting several revisions of the limited and extensive trials process. The results of the research in the model development stage produced 5 syntaxes with 4 revised changes based on limited and extensive trials. The first revision experienced a significant change from 6 syntaxes to 5 syntaxes. In the second and third revision, the main content was improved in reference to the limited trials results because it was not still significant to building eco-friendly character and the fourth revision was a recommendation from an extensive trial which shows that it had already been significant in building the character, with some technical revisions in the operational stage of applying the model.Penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya karakter peduli lingkungan dan kurang dikembangkannya literasi geografi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di SMPN Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melahirkan model pembelajaran IPS yang diharapkan bisa menjadi upaya dalam menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan, yaitu Model Berbasis Literasi Geografi - Karakter Peduli Lingkungan yang kemudian disingkat Model BLG-KPL. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research & Developmnet (R&D). Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari tahap pendahuluan, meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan (needs assessment), tahap pengembangan model, meliputi telaah ahli (expert), uji terbatas dan uji luas dan tahap pengujian efektivitas pengaruh dan besaran efek model. Pada artikel penelitian ini hanya akan memaparkan tahap pengembangan modelnya saja dengan asumsi sudah dilalui tahap pendahuluan sampai pengujian luas. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik di beberapa SMPN Kota Bandung. Analisis data tahap pengembangan model terdiri dari uji kelayakan dari ahli (expert) dengan dilakukan beberapa kali revisi dari proses pengujian terbatas dan luas. Hasil penelitian tahap pengembangan model menghasilkan 5 sintaks dengan perubahan revisi sebanyak 4 kali berdasar uji lapangan terbatas dan luas. Pada revisi pertama mengalami perubahan signifikan dari 6 sintaks menjadi 5 sintaks. Pada revisi kedua mengalami perbaikan substansi berdasar hasil uji terbatas karena masih belum menujukkan signifikan menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan revisi keempat merupakan rekomendasi dari uji luas yang sudah menunjukkan signifikan menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan dengan revisi teknis dalam tahap operasional penerapan model.

The problem in this research is that the teaching of school-based earthquake disaster preparedness in Lombok has not been optimal. In fact, the island of Lombok is an area with a high level of vulnerability to earthquakes. This is because one of them is the Flores Thrust which stretches from the eastern tip of the Flores Sea to the north of Bali. Thus in this study the main objective is to develop a preparedness teaching model for earthquake-prone schools. Where earthquake disaster preparedness is all efforts and activities carried out before a natural disaster occurs, during a disaster and immediately after a disaster to quickly and effectively respond to the situation or situation. The research method used is a research and development approach (Research & Development). The results showed several results including; First, the use of this preparedness teaching model shows that schools have more knowledge as a result of modeling in learning; Second, the exposure of the functions and responsibilities of one of the main leading sectors in disaster management; and The three resulting teaching models have simplified disaster management in schools because they are integrated with Social Science learning so that they are easily realized. So with the model of teaching student preparedness it will be more effective and efficient in order to improve their ability to face earthquakes that can occur at any time.

The earthquake and tsunami disasters in Aceh Province, Indonesia led to several injuries, deaths, unfound bodies, and high property losses on 26 December 2004. This hazardous period has reportedly become a valuable case for Syiah Kuala University, where various solutions are being considered for eradicating subsequent occurrences. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implementation patterns of the disaster curriculum developed and applied at Syiah Kuala University, to achieve a DPC (Disaster Preparedness Campus) reputation and enhance DP (Disaster Preparedness) among community members, especially students. A qualitative verification method outlined as a description was used, due to being an inductive approach to the entire experimental process. Data collection was also carried out through observation and literature review, as well as several interviews with the following, (1) The head of the technical implementation unit general course of Syiah Kuala University, (2) The coordinator and lecturer of disaster and environmental knowledge course, and (3) The students of Syiah Kuala University studying the course. After this process, a Delphi method was used to analyze the data obtained, with the outcomes confirmed by a competent expert. Based on the results, three important steps were found to improve disaster preparedness among the people of Aceh and Syiah Kuala University students, namely (1) The establishment of the Tsunami Disaster Mitigation Research Center in 2006, (2) The establishment of the Master Program Study of Disaster Science in the university's Postgraduate Program in 2010, and (3) Development of the general course of disaster knowledge and environment in 2016, which was a compulsory requirement for all students from various faculties, departments, and programs. This indicated that Syiah Kuala University was the first campus to mandate a disaster science course in Indonesia. These results are expected to improve disaster preparedness for students, with Syiah Kuala University becoming a DPC (Disaster Preparedness Campus) in Indonesia. Karongsong Village is one of the villages in the mangrove rehabilitation area which is still well maintained. In the beginning, the management of mangrove planting there was carried out by the local community in collaboration with PT Pertamina. The beginning of this Mangrove Ecotourism in Karongsong was the occurrence of abrasion on Karongsong Beach from 1983 to 2022, which in the future could cause a Tsunami or subsequent abrasion. So to anticipate this, beach rehabilitation and the creation of Mangrove Ecotourism are made to avoid or minimize future Tsunamis. But apparently, after the pandemic period, Mangrove Ecotourism in Karongsong was not maintained and not well managed. Due to the large number of damage to facilities, dead animals, and so on. Therefore, the author wants to try to increase the potential of Mangrove Ecotourism by asking for support from the local government. So that they take appropriate action in preserving the ecotourism. So that Mangrove Ecotourism in Karongsong can function as usual and as it should.

This study aims to survey PKL / KKL activities in Universities. Descriptive method to look for similarities and differences in the implementation of PKL / KKL, while the survey is to ask for opinions about the implementation of PKL / KKL. The study population was all students of the Geography Study Program FIS UNJ and UPI. The sample was used by 120 students with quota sampling technique. Preliminary survey to collect data on PKL / KKL implementation in five universities (UNJ, UPI, UNY, UNES, UNESA). After the documents are arranged, students will submit whether they are in accordance with conditions in their field and their expectations. Document the search results at five universities and the survey results show similarities and differences. Differences in PKL / KKL differ in aspects of SKS burden. The ratio of supervisors and participants varies between 1:15 and 1:20. The products produced vary in the form of reports, articles, leaflets, standing baners, papers, brochures. The results of the research can be suggested to make a balanced process and product assessment instruments from pre-activity and post-activity. Give weight to every aspect of the assessment both process and product. Metode deskriptif untuk mencari persamaan dan perbedaan pelaksanaan PKL/KKL, sedangakn survey untuk menjaring pendapat tentang pelaksanaan PKL/KKL. Populasi penelitian semua mahasiswa prodi pendidikan Geografi FIS UNJ dan UPI. Sampel yang digunakan dengan 120 mahasiswa dengan teknik kuota sampling. Survey pendahuluan untuk menjaring data pelaksanaan PKL/KKL di lima perguruan tinggi (UNJ, UPI, UNY, UNES, UNESA). Setelah tersusun dokumen, disampaikan kemahasiswa apakah sudah cocok atau belum sesuai dengan kondisi dilapangan dan harapannya. Hasil penelusuran dokumen di lima universitas dan hasil survey menunjukan adanya persamaan dan perbedaan. Perbedaan fieldstudy berbeda pada aspek beban SKS. Rasio dosen pembimbing dengan pesertapun bervariasi antara 1: 15 dengan 1:20. Produk yang dihasilkanpun bervariasi berupa laporan, artikel, leaflet, standing baner, makalah, brosur. Hasil dari penelitian dapat disarankan membuat instrument penilaian proses dan produk yang seimbang dari pra kegiatan–kegiatan dan pasca kegiatan. Mastery of learning materials is one of the main goals in education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the active learning model snowball throwing type with the index card match type in the ability to understand the concept of learners in elementary school. This research was conducted on students in grade IV SDN Cikampek Barat II, Cikampek District, Karawang City. The number of participants in this study were 26 students in the experimental class 1 who applied the snowball throwing learning model and as many as 26 students in the experimental class 2 who used the index card match learning model. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with the matching pretest posttest control group design. The data of this study were collected using test instruments and assessment rubrics. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the index card match learning model is more effective in increasing students' understanding of the concept of existing home material and traditional Indonesian clothing compared to the snowball throwing learning model., Penguasaan materi pembelajaran adalah salah satu tujuan utama dalam pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari model pembelajaran lemparan bola salju dengan tipe kartu indeks yang sesuai dengan kemampuan pemahaman peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Cikampek Barat II, Kecamatan Cikampek, Kota Karawang. Jumlah peserta dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 26 siswa di kelas eksperimen 1 yang menerapkan model pembelajaran snowball throwing dan 26 siswa di kelas eksperimen 2 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran indeks kartu pertandingan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest postest control group design control. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes dan rubrik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model kartu indeks pembelajaran cocok lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang bahan rumah dan pakaian adat Indonesia dengan model pembelajaran melempar bola salju . In Geography Study Program, fieldstudy is the hallmark of geography outdoor learning. The similar activities of fieldstudy are fieldwork, fieldtrip, outing, excursion, cooks tours and others. The implementation of fieldstudy in the universities of teacher training has the similarity in its naming, its definition, its purpose, material of the study, the duration of the activity, the location of the fieldstudy, and data processing. The difference of the fieldstudy implementation lies on the ratio of supervisor to students, funding, outcome product and assessment. Universities that conduct the fieldstudy should review the curriculum in its implementation so that the credit, the assessed product and process have the similarity both in the credit and the supervisors who assess., Dalam Program Studi Geografi, studi lapangan adalah ciri khas pembelajaran luar ruang geografi. Kegiatan serupa dari studi lapangan adalah penelitian lapangan, kunjungan lapangan, tamasya, dan lainnya. Implementasi studi lapangan pada universitas pencetak guru geografi memiliki kesamaan dalam penamaannya, definisi, tujuan, bahan studi, durasi kegiatan, lokasi studi lapangan, dan pemrosesan data. Perbedaan implementasi studi lapangan terletak pada rasio pengawas untuk siswa, pendanaan, produk hasil, dan sistem penilaian. Universitas yang melakukan studi lapangan harus meninjau kurikulum dalam implementasinya sehingga kredit, produk yang dinilai dan prosesnya memiliki kesamaan baik dalam kredit dan pengawas yang menilai.

This study aims to find out how the spatial pattern of settlements in disaster areas adapt to earthquake and tsunami disaster in Simeulue Regency, Aceh Province. The research used a qualitative approach and descriptive method Data collection technique used literature study and field observation., Data analysis used the Delphi method. The study result showed that the influential factors that save many Simeulue people from earthquake and tsunami disaster occurred on Sunday, 26 December 2004 is the spatial pattern of settlement which is very suitable to tsunami disasters such as geographical condition in the form of the pattern of human settlements, vegetation formation, condition of topography and morphology. The geographical condition was beneficial where people can save themselves to highland when a tsunami occurs. The implication of the spatial pattern of settlement in Simeulue Regency is very friendly for tsunami disaster mitigation. Keywords: Spatial Pattern of Settlement, Disaster Adaptation

Kawasan Situ Gede memiliki peluang untuk memberikan keuntungan bagi Pemerintah Daerah Kota Tasikmalaya dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kawasan Situ Gede dengan sampel wilayah Kelurahan Linggajaya dan Kelurahan Mangkubumi Kecamatan Mangkubumi Kota Tasikmalaya. Sampel terdiri dari 81 orang penduduk, 100 orang wisatawan, dan 7 orang pengelola pariwisata. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase, pengharkatan dan pembobotan, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kawasan Situ Gede memiliki potensi atraksi wisata yang tinggi, Sedangkan pada ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana wisata rendah. Lalu, tingkat aksesibilitas sedang. Peneliti merekomendasikan untuk memperbaiki kualitas aksesibilitas dan meningkatkan fasilitas wisata yang terdiri dari sarana informasi dan keamanan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran literasi lingkungan pada mahasiswa pendidikan geografi. Sampel peneltian adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan geografi Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka sebanyak 221 mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa survey melalui instrumen angket dan soal tes pilihan ganda yang digunakan untuk mengetahui persentase literasi lingkungan mahasiswa, yang terdiri dari indikator pengetahuan lingkungan, keterampilan kognitif, sikap peduli lingkungan dan perilaku pro-lingkungan. Hasil dari pengolahan dan analisis data, maka disimpulkan bahwa literasi lingkungan mahasiswa pendidikan geografi berada pada kategori sedang untuk indikator pengetahuan lingkungan sebesar 78,3%, indikator keterampilan kognitif 63,3%, dan indikator perilaku pro-lingkungan sebesar 65,6%, sedangkan pada indikator sikap peduli lingkungan menunjukkan kategori tinggi dengan persentase 81%. Selain itu, persentase tersebut juga menunjukkan beberapa sub-indikator dengan persentase tertinggi dari indikator literasi lingkungan diantaranya sub-indikator memiliki pengetahuan mengenai pemecahan masalah lingkungan pada indikator pengetahuan lingkungan, sub-indikator memiliki kemampuan dalam merencanakan tindakan penyelidikan isu lingkungan pada indikator keterampilan kognitif, sub-indikator sikap apresiasi terhadap lingkungan pada indikator sikap peduli lingkungan, dan sub-indikator konservasi sumber daya alam pada indikator perilaku pro-lingkungan.

This article aims to describe the perception of disaster-vulnerable community-related natural phenomena before the occurrence of earthquakes. This research applies the survey methods and purposive sampling. A total of 229 respondents from earthquake-prone districts respond to questionnaires and interviews. The data are analysis quantitatively (percentages). The finding informs that many people are well acquainted with earthquake characteristics, threats and risks of earthquake impacts in West Sumatra based on scientific knowledge. Amongst the four regions of the community, the Padang Pariaman people experience nature and animal anomaly before the earthquake. The two unusual phenomena which are recognized are the rising temperature and the appearance of a vertical tornado-like cloud, beside nervousness of a dog, cat, cow, and bird. However, the community has not employed this perception based knowledge as a recommendation to act in quake preparedness. Beliefs in religious have much-driven people in responding to the threat of hazard. It can be concluded that even though the community perceives natural changes before the shock, but these phenomena have not become part of disaster preparedness yet. It is being a challenge for further research to build an earthquake preparedness approach which considers scientific knowledge, local knowledge and values, and trust to the Gods’ provisions

Geographical skills that need to be shared by each geographic are three categories, including map skills, field skills, and satellite image interpretation skills. To achieve field skills competency, a location is needed to be used as material for practicum studies for each subject. The Geography Education Field Laboratory can be studied in depth based on an analysis of the level of learning needs. The basis of the lab location requirements as a laboratory is seen from the laboratory function as an area to carry out careful and accurate testing and measurement of the phenomenon under study. Local landscape can be used as a field laboratory to improve critical spatial thinking skills. The study was carried out through the identification of local landscapes by delineating the area through the utilization of satellite imagery and identifying potential from each area that was chosen descriptively. Location characteristics to be used as locations for geography learning resources can describe geographical concepts, local landscapes, and regional phenomena.

Earthquake experts have stated that the western coastal region of Sumatra Island is one of the most earthquake-prone areas in Indonesia. In response to this fact, disaster mitigation education programs must involve preparedness and preparedness before an earthquake occurs. This preliminary study aims to describe the profile of integration of biological studies, especially earthquake precursors in animal ecology lectures at the Biology Department of the Faculty of Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Padang State University (UNP). Data collection is done through analysis of lecture documents, surveys and interviews, and data analysis is done descriptively by referring to Hsieh and Shannon (2015) in Malekipour et al., (2017). The instruments used were a checklist of lecture content, semi-structured questionnaires, and interview guidelines. The results of the study show that the lectures on animal ecology in the Department of Biology FMIPA UNP have included the application of basic ecological concepts in everyday life. However, the area of application of these competencies is limited to conservation goals and how to treat animals in the student environment. The study of animal behaviour as a marker of earthquakes has never been integrated and applied in lectures on theory and practicum. Students’ knowledge of animal behaviour in an earthquake event is mostly obtained independently from books and articles. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the lecture on animal ecology is a potential lecture to examine the relationship between animal behaviour and earthquake disasters. Furthermore, it can be recommended integration of the behaviour of earthquake-related animals in animal ecology lectures for prospective biology teacher students, especially in practical learning. It aims to improve the ability and contribution of prospective teacher students involved in anticipating the impact of the earthquake on students living in disaster-prone areas, especially on the west coast of Sumatra.

Animal behavior is a response to external environmental conditions through detection by certain senses. Changes in physical factors in the environment before the earthquake (magnetic field anomaly) also influence the expression of specific behavioral changes in birds, namely the flight activity. However, scientific explanation of changes in orientation or direction of flight before the earthquake was not yet available. This article aims to describe the mechanism of bird's biological response to changes in the magnetic field before the earthquake. This study is a literature review. The results of theoretical synthesis explain that birds use magnetic receptors and light receptors that recognize changes in the magnetic field before the earthquake followed by an increase in the amount of intracellular calcium ions. Abnormal amounts of calcium stimulate the formation of more ATP which activates the function of actin and myosin, therefore muscle cells experience a bathmotrope effect expressed in the form of changes in flight direction.
