This study presents a bibliometric review focusing on the utilization of water electrolysis as a means of generating hydrogen as an energy carrier. The analysis includes research conducted over the past decade, covering from 2014 to 2023 (till August). Several key aspects are highlighted, including publication trends, the leading country in research output, journal rankings, and a citation analysis of papers related to water electrolysis. The findings reveal a notable increase in publication trends, with China emerging as the leading contributor in this research area. Furthermore, the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy is identified as the highest-ranked journal in terms of both publication number and citation impact. Additionally, the top ten most cited research articles and review papers are investigated to determine their influence within the field. To gain a deeper understanding of water electrolysis methods, the three primary approaches: alkaline water electrolysis (AWE), proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis, and solid oxide electrolysis (SOE) is examined. The analysis emphasizes that PEM electrolysis is the most prevalent method for hydrogen generation, particularly when integrated with renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power due to its rapid response to electrical input fluctuation. With the increasing penetration of renewable energy resources, their variable, intermittent and unpredictable characteristics bring new challenges to the power system. These challenges require micro-meteorological data and techniques to provide more support for the power systems, including planning, dispatching, operation, and so on. This paper aims to provide readers with insights into the effects of micro-meteorology on power systems, as well as the actual improvement brought by micro-meteorology in some power system scenarios. This paper provides a review including the relevant micro-meteorological techniques such as observation, assimilation and numerical techniques, as well as artificial intelligence, presenting a relatively complete overview of the most recent and relevant micro-meteorology-related literature associated with power systems. The impact of micro-meteorology on power systems is analyzed in six different forms of power generation and three typical scenarios of different stages in the power system, as well as integrated energy systems and disaster prevention and reduction. Finally, a case study in China is provided. This case takes wind power prediction as an example in a power system to compare the performance when applying micro-meteorological data or not. The experimental results demonstrated that using the micro-meteorological reanalysis dataset with high spatial--temporal resolution for wind power prediction performed better, verifying the improvement of micro-meteorology to the power system to some extent. The renewable-dominant hybrid generation systems (HGSs) are increasingly important to the electric power system worldwide. However, influenced by uncertain meteorological factors, the operational robustness of HGSs must be evaluated to inform the associated decision-making. Additionally, the main factors affecting the HGS's robustness should be urgently identified under deep uncertainties, as this provides valuable guidance for HGS capacity configuration. In this paper, a multivariate stochastic simulation method is developed and used to generate uncertain resource scenarios of runoff, photovoltaic power, and wind power. Subsequently, a long-term stochastic optimization model of the HGS is employed to derive the optimal operating rules. Finally, these operating rules are used to simulate the long-term operation of an HGS, and the results are used to evaluate the HGS's robustness and identify its main sensitivities. A clean energy base located in the Upper Yellow River Basin, China, is selected as a case study. The results show that the HGS achieves greater operational robustness than an individual hydropower system, and the robustness becomes weaker as the total capacity of photovoltaic and wind power increases. Additionally, the operational robustness of the HGS is found to be more sensitive to the total capacity than to the capacity ratio between photovoltaic and wind power. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the increasing application of wind energy, reliable wind speed prediction has become imperative. However, prior studies predominantly concentrated on single-model predictions, disregarding the inherent uncertainty in wind speed. This oversight resulted in inadequate deterministic and probabilistic forecasting outcomes across varying scenarios. To make up for these shortcomings, a novel forecasting system combining a data preprocessing technique, a sub-model selection method, and a modified multi-objective integrate optimization strategy is designed in this paper. According to the data obtained from China's wind farm, the forecasting efficiency of this system is verified from multiple perspectives. The findings show that the system takes advantage of each model to boost the precision and stability of point prediction successfully. Furthermore, it achieves higher interval coverage and narrower interval width under distinct confidence levels. With the progress of society, the supply of electricity has become an inevitable choice for the development of all walks of life. The stability, safety, and economic dispatch of the electric energy system directly impact the entire country's economic development, from national defense, military, and even people's daily life, all closely associated with the smooth running of the network. In the aspect of power grid planning and operation, the economic security dispatching problem of power system is a very typical optimization problem. The problem is how to maximize the operating cost of the system under the premise of satisfying the system's load limit and safety and stability. Due to the rapid development of power technology, the research on power system security and economic planning is essential. As an important means to promote China's energy structure adjustment and promote the supply side structural reform, the regional spot electricity market is playing an increasingly important role in building a resource optimization allocation mechanism, improving China's energy resource allocation efficiency, and promoting social and economic development. However, the development of China's regional spot power market is still in its infancy, and the transaction price of the regional spot power market is quite different from that of other countries. It was given these problems, this article discusses the use of particle swarm algorithms for secure and economic scheduling of power systems in the context of securely reading blockchains and distributed data. The research results showed that: The introduction of environmental pollution penalty programs improved the priority dispatch of wind and photovoltaic power when considering environmental penalty programs and backup penalties for wind and photovoltaic power. The setting of the coefficient of the environmental penalty term depended on the designer's emphasis on the priority scheduling of wind power and photovoltaic (PV) power generation (PG), and the standby capacity penalty clause achieved reasonable dispatch and utilization of wind power and PV PG, which reduced the dramatic fluctuations and intermittent volume of the system, and facilitated safe and consistent operation of the network. The large-scale centralized development of wind and PV power resources is the key to China's dual carbon targets and clean energy transition. The vast desert–Gobi–wilderness areas in northern and western China will be the best choice for renewable energy development under multiple considerations of resources endowment, land use constraints, technical conditions, and economic level. It is urgent to carry out a quantitative wind and PV resource assessment study in desert–Gobi–wilderness areas. This paper proposed a multi-dimensional assessment method considering the influence of the power grid and transportation infrastructure distributions, which includes three research levels, namely, the technical installed capacity, the development potential, and the development cost. Nine main desert–Gobi–wilderness areas were assessed. The wind and PV technical installed capacities were 0.6 TW and 10.7 TW, and the total development potentials were over 0.12 TW and 1.2 TW, with the full load hours of 2513 and 1759 and the average development costs of 0.28 CNY/kWh and 0.20 CNY/kWh. Finally, this paper proposed the meteorological–electrical division distribution. A case study in the Kubuqi and Qaidam Deserts was carried out on wind–wind and wind–PV collaborative development across different meteorological–electrical divisions, which can reduce by 58% the long-term energy storage capacity and decrease the total system LCOE from 0.488 CNY/kWh to 0.445 CNY/kWh. Currently, a standardized design and calculation specification for suction drum foundations has yet to exist in China. The engineering design currently depends mainly on the subjective understanding and engineering experience of the designers, which can be considered somewhat blind and subjective. In this paper, we utilize the offshore wind power project in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, as our case study. Building upon domestic and international research results, relevant investigations, design specifications, and engineering applications in related fields, we conduct a systematic study on the design calculation and construction control technology of the suction drum foundation. The document presents the design calculation and inspection of the suction drum foundation. Building on this foundation, we propose a sinking feasibility analysis method and a parameter value method for the suction drum foundation calculation. We also examine the suction drum foundation construction process, examining its control parameters, technology, and standards. Finally, based on the measured data from six four-barrel guided frame platform suction drum foundations that were successfully installed, the proposed design and control method are evaluated, and their effectiveness is verified. As a kind of renewable energy enterprise, wind power enterprise plays an important role in the energy transformation. However, its financing problems are also widespread. The purpose of this paper is to study the financing mode selection in order to improve sustainable development and future benefits of wind power enterprises. First, an evaluation index system is constructed through literature research and expert interviews, and the weight of each index is determined comprehensively by G1 and information entropy methods. On this basis, a financing mode selection model of wind power enterprises is constructed by using the prospect theory and hesitant fuzzy set. Next, this framework is used for case study. Financing patterns are ranked according to the comprehensive prospect value. The results show that financial leasing is the most suitable financing mode. Technological innovation is the key to develop wind power and photovoltaic power industries. The feed-in tariff (FIT) policy, as a demand-pull policy, is important to support renewable energy technological innovation. Using the "difference-in-differences" method, this paper investigates the impact of FIT policy of wind power and the impact of the FIT policy designed according to differences in the distribution of resources on wind power technological innovation. The findings show that the FIT policy can drive patenting in wind power technologies during the implementation period, but may play a relatively weak promoting role in technological innovation in the latter term, and the FIT policy designed according to differences in the distribution of resources also stimulates more patent counts. Finally, based on the fixed effect negative binomial regression model, this paper finds that the higher feed-in tariffs can increase the patent counts in photovoltaic power technologies. Accurately predicting wind power is premise for the large‐scale integration of wind energy into the power grid and realizing reliable power grid scheduling and efficient wind farm operation. The spatial–temporal differences between the acquisition points of numerical weather prediction and wind farm sites should be considered because they significantly affect the accuracy of wind power output. Meanwhile, since there are different actual constraints on wind farm electrical networks and units, and the weather conditions may vary, there are no universal methods for identifying and correcting wind power output. To this end, this paper proposes a wind speed calibration model based on an Attention‐Bi‐LSTM network and a self‐adaptive recognition‐correction model based on SHAP‐CART classification for wind power output prediction. First, a spatial–temporal dataset is established by using real weather data from wind farm sites and data from the surrounding NWP points. Then, wind speed is accurately calibrated using the Attention‐Bi‐LSTM model. Next, considering the practical constraints on wind farm electrical networks and units, the self‐adaptive recognition‐correction model based on SHAP‐CART classification is employed to effectively recognize and predict the operating states and power output of the units, thus improving the accuracy and stability of wind power output prediction. The serious problem of wind power curtailment in northern China has created a pressing need to enhance the peak-shaving ability of the power system. As the main source of power supply in northern China, combined heat and power (CHP) units have significant potential for peak-shaving. Currently, the Chinese government encourages CHP plants to increase their peak-shaving capacity by installing power-to-heat (P2H) equipment. In addition, the government has implemented auxiliary service market policies to encourage CHP plants to provide peak-shaving services. In order to maximize economic benefits for CHP plants, this paper proposes an optimal configuration method of P2H equipment with the static payback time (SPT) as the objective function. Cost and income models of installing the P2H equipment are constructed by taking into account the auxiliary service market policies. The peak-shaving income model of the CHP plant is derived emphatically as a key part of the proposed method. Finally, the district heating region in Jilin province is used as a case study example. The results show that adding the P2H equipment is significantly effective in improving the peak-shaving ability of CHP units, and investing in heat pumps is more cost-effective than electric boilers. The proposed method can be applied to other northern regions relying on CHP units for central heating, providing a valuable solution to the problem of wind power curtailment in these regions. Large-scale constructions of offshore wind power are carried out in southeast coast of China, where the seabed is covered in weathered granite. However, the bearing capacity and failure mechanism of monopile foundation in weathered-granite seabed are rarely researched. In this paper, the stress-strain characteristics and strength parameters of granite with different weathering degrees were obtained through laboratory tests, and the pre-strain test method was used to study mechanical parameter variation of moderately weathered granite in the crushing process. Experiment found that the strength parameters decrease mainly after the strain reaching 50% of the ultimate strain of moderately weathered granite. In addition, the bearing capacity and failure mode of rock-socketed monopile under unidirectional horizontal loading was investigated numerically. Analysis showed that the failure mode of rock-socketed monopile under unidirectional horizontal loading is progressive and presents two obvious failure zones. More critical, the existence of vertical loading effectively improves the horizontal bearing capacity of monopile foundation in the weathered rock seabed, and the failure envelope of the monopile foundation in H-V loading space is elliptic-shaped. This provides further understanding of the mechanical properties of submarine weathered granite, and the helpful reference for stability evaluation of rock-socketed monopile foundation in weathered granite seabed. A convenient and effective method based on vector analysis was proposed in this paper to quantitatively describe the pattern of the wind speed distribution curve. This method can accurately describe the steepness of the single‐peak curve by using two parameters of concentration degree (CD) and concentration period (CP). Through the analysis of wind speed data in China over the past 40 years, this paper found that regional wind resources with larger CD were poorer, while regional wind resources with larger CP were richer. In addition, there were obvious cubic relationships between the CP and the average wind power density. These two parameters could reflect the richness of wind energy and realize the comparisons of wind resources across time and scales. This paper presents a hybrid model constituting dynamic smoothing technique and particle swarm optimization techniques to optimally size and control battery energy storage systems for wind energy ramp rate control and power system frequency performance enhancement. In today's modern power system, a high-proportion renewable energy grid is inevitable. This high-proportion renewable energy grid is a power system with abundant integration of renewable energy resources under the presence of energy storage tools. Energy storage tools are integrated into such power systems to balance the fluctuation and intermittence of renewable energy sources. One of the requirements in a high-proportion renewable energy grid is the fractional power balance between generation and load. One of the requirements set by power system regulators is the generation variation between two time points. A power producer is mandated to satisfy the ramp rate requirement set by the grid owner. This paper proposes dynamic smoothing techniques for initial size determination and particle swarm optimization based on optimal sizing and control of battery energy storage systems for ramp rate control and frequency regulation performance of a power system integrated with a large percentage of wind energy systems. Wind energy data taken from Zhangjiakou wind farm in China are used. The results indicate that the battery energy storage system improves the ramp rate characteristics of the wind farm. In addition, the virtual inertia capability of the battery energy storage system enabled the transient and steady-state frequency response of the test power system to improve significantly. Renewable energy is regarded as an effective method to alleviate environmental pollution and accelerate the green transition in China. This paper systematically investigates the impact of financial inclusion on renewable energy demand by using S-GMM model based on provincial data in the green finance era. This paper also analyzes the asymmetry, heterogeneity, and mediating mechanism in the nexus between financial inclusion and renewable energy demand, and highlights the following findings: (1) Improved financial inclusion can promote renewable energy development in China and present the characteristics of green finance; (2) the impact of financial inclusion on renewable energy demand is asymmetric and heterogeneous; specifically, this impact is much higher in northern China and the regions with higher renewable energy development; and (3) wind and photovoltaic power generation are effective mediators between financial inclusion and renewable energy industry, while the mediation effects of hydropower and nuclear power are not significant. New evidence in this study is presented for the achievement of green transition in China, as well as practical policy implications for improving financial inclusion and increasing renewable energy consumption. In the context of carbon neutrality target, renewable energy sources have been transforming from "supplementary energy" to "main energy", which have promoted the green and low-carbon transition of global energy supply system. In-depth analyzing the spatial patterns and driving mechanisms of renewable energy expansion are of significance for optimizing the spatial layout of clean power, and avoiding the phenomenon of wind and solar power curtailment. In this paper, we proposed an ensemble learning model to examine the nonlinear effects of physical geography, resource endowment, and socio-economic factors on solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity at the prefecture-level city scale in China. Using the city-level multi-sources geospatial big data, we extensively collected a total of 175 related explanatory variables and cumulative installed capacity of solar PV power for 295 prefecture-level cities of China. The recursive feature elimination algorithm (SVM-REF) is firstly used to extract the optimal feature subset of urban PV capacity from multi-dimensional features variables. Furthermore, three advanced machine learning models (random forest, decision tree, extreme gradient boosting) are developed to identify the key influencing factors and nonlinear driving effect of urban solar PV power expansion in China. The results show that China's PV installation capacity is highly concentrated in Northern and Northwest parts of China, with the occupancy over 70% in 2019. Moreover, the XGBoost model has the best prediction accuracy (R2 = 0.97) among three methods. We also found that total amount of urban water resources, average solar radiation, and population density are the most important controlling factors for urban solar PV capacity expansion in China, with contribution of 35.6%, 17.7%, and 13.3%, respectively. We suggested that urban solar PV layout mode in China is recommended to gradually shift from resource orientation to the "resource-environment-demand" comprehensive orientation. Carbon emission flow is an effective tool to obtain carbon emission distribution in power systems, which can guide the active carbon reductions of consumers through proper incentive schemes. With the increasing penetration of renewable energy, the existing single-valued carbon emission flow model based on deterministic forecasted power outputs cannot describe the impacts of renewable energy uncertainties on carbon flows. Therefore, this paper mainly focuses on the assessment of the probabilistic carbon emission flow through the power systems considering the impacts of load and renewable energy uncertainties. In this paper, the probabilistic carbon emission flow (PCEF) is innovatively proposed. With the PCEF, consumers can make better energy use plans considering their own risk appetites for carbon emission payment. Firstly, the impact factors of the PCEF are modeled, including load and renewable energy uncertainties and integrated carbon intensity of thermal plants. The uncertainties of load, wind power and photovoltaics are modeled based on a p-box method while the uncertainty of hydropower is modeled based on the multi-state model. Besides, the integrated carbon intensity model of thermal plants are proposed considering the carbon intensity variations during the operating, start-up, and shut-down stages. Furthermore, the probabilistic carbon emission evaluation framework is proposed to assess the probabilistic carbon distribution. In this framework, novel probabilistic carbon indices are defined to precisely characterize the carbon emission situation with probabilistic representations. A solution method based on an adaptive interval point estimation (AIPEM) algorithm is proposed to efficiently solve the developed evaluation problem. Tests on an IEEE-30 node system, and a real provincial power system in China validate the effectiveness and application of the proposed model. To accurately predict the time series of energy data, an optimized Hausdorff fractional grey seasonal model was proposed based on the complex characteristics of seasonal fluctuations and local random oscillations of seasonal energy data. This paper used a new seasonal index to eliminate the seasonal variation of the data and weaken the local random fluctuations. Furthermore, the Hausdorff fractional accumulation operator was introduced into the traditional grey prediction model to improve the weight of new information, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm was used to find the nonlinear parameters of the model. In order to verify the reliability of the new model in energy forecasting, the new model was applied to two different energy types, hydropower and wind power. The experimental results indicated that the model can effectively predict quarterly time series of energy data. Based on this, we used China's quarterly natural gas production data from 2015 to 2021 as samples to forecast those for 2022–2024. In addition, we also compared the proposed model with the traditional statistical models and the grey seasonal models. The comparison results showed that the new model had obvious advantages in predicting quarterly data of natural gas production, and the accurate prediction results can provide a reference for natural gas resource allocation. With the rise of the global green low-carbon energy revolution and the advanced implementation of the '30·60' carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategy proposed by China, the development of the offshore wind industry is greatly encouraged in China. The wind energy resources in Fujian sea area are excellent, but due to the geological characteristics in the area, rock-socketed pile foundations are very common. Taking Pile No.13 for Changjiang'ao Offshore Wind Power Project in Pingtan, Fujian, as an example, this paper introduces the key technology involved in the 'Driving-Drilling-Driving' technology for construction of Type I monopile foundations and the five aspects that need to be considered emphatically during the construction, and illustrates the related calculation and evaluation process, which can provide some useful reference for subsequent similar projects. Accurate and credible operation data sets of wind and solar power stations are the basis of many research works. However, such data sets often contain abnormal data due to failure, maintenance, energy curtailment, etc. The existing identification methods fail to consider the operating characteristics of power stations and the forms of abnormal data, resulting in low identification ability. Therefore, an adaptive identification method of abnormal data (AIMAD) in the wind and solar power stations is proposed in this paper, including the bidirectional one-sided quartile method and double DBSCAN method to deal with unevenly distributed abnormal data; the improved K-means clustering method based on the distance between the cluster center and benchmark power curve to process the abnormal data that are densely accumulated and closely connected with normal data in the power scatter diagram. The proposed method can adjust adaptively according to the forms of abnormal data to realize accurate identification and has strong robustness for power stations. The coordinated use of electricity and a heat energy system can effectively improve the energy structure during winter heating in the northern part of China and improve the environmental pollution problem. In this paper, an economic scheduling model of an electric–thermal integrated energy system, including a wind turbine, regenerative electric boiler, solar heat collection system, biomass boiler, ground source heat pump and battery is proposed, and a biomass boiler was selected as the auxiliary heat source of the solar heat collection system. A mixed integer linear programming model was established to take the operating cost of the whole system as the target. A day-ahead optimization scheduling strategy considering the demand side response and improving new energy consumption is proposed. In order to verify the influence of the coordinated utilization of the flexible load and energy storage equipment on the optimal scheduling in the model built, three scenarios were set up. Scenario 3 contains energy storage and a flexible load. Compared with scenario 1, the total cost of scenario 3 was reduced by 51.5%, and the abandonment cost of wind energy was reduced by 43.3%. The use of a flexible load and energy storage can effectively reduce the cost and improve new energy consumption. By increasing the capacity of the energy-storage device, the wind power is completely absorbed, but the operation and maintenance cost is increased, so the capacity of energy storage equipment is allocated reasonably according to the actual situation. Wind power hydrogen production is the direct conversion of electricity generated by wind power into hydrogen through water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment, which produces hydrogen for convenient long-term storage through water electrolysis. With the development of offshore wind power from offshore projects, construction costs continue to rise. Turning power transmission into hydrogen transmission will help reduce the cost of offshore wind power construction. Renewable portfolio standard is an effective administrative tool to guide the behavior of electricity producers and impact the renewable energy diffusion. However, currently the renewable energy quota is generally set to be static and the efficiency is limited. In this paper, we proposed a dynamic renewable portfolio standard policy and we aimed to analyze how it will impact the renewable energy diffusion in China. The connections between electricity producers were simulated under both the perfectly competitive market and monopoly market. And a networked evolutionary game approach is applied considering dynamic linking between the electricity producers. The results show that dynamic quota policy is effective in promoting the proportion of wind power generation from 20% to 59.17% and promoting the proportion of solar power generation from 20% to 79.25%. With the sensitivity analysis, we found that renewable energy quota and the on-grid price are the most influential parameters. The proportion will reach 76.47% if quota is 0.7 and 68.1% if on-grid price is 630 Yuan/MWh. And the influence of tradable green certificate prices and generation cost is limited in promoting renewable energy diffusion. The promotion of wind power is an important strategic measure to promote energy transformation and achieve carbon neutralization in China. Driven by a series of industrial policies, China's wind power industry is still faced with the dilemma of "large quantity yet poor quality". Therefore, the paper considers as research object the wind power industry policies issued by the government of China between 2008 and 2019, and evaluates their impact on the innovation quality of enterprises from the perspective of financing modes. The results show that different categories of industry innovation policies and their combination have an important positive influence on enterprise innovation quality. There are differences in the regulatory effects of different financing modes on wind power industrial policy and enterprise innovation quality: internal financing inhibits the effect of industrial policy on enterprise innovation quality, while external financing promotes the impact of industrial policy on enterprise innovation quality. Further analysis shows that different categories of innovation policies and their combinations have impacts on the innovation quality of both private and state-owned enterprises, and in many regions. With the sharply increased development of variable renewable energy resources (VRERs) in recent years, the hydro-wind-photovoltaic (PV) hybrid system (HWPHS) has the prospective to enhance the grid integration of VRERs. Nevertheless, the intense variation associated with wind and PV generation causes uncertainties in the long-term operation of the HWPHS. To overcome this drawback, this paper develops a novel method to derive adaptive operating rules for a cascade HWPHS. First, a scenario-generating method coupling Kernel density estimation with the copula function is proposed to characterize the wind and PV forecast errors. Second, based on the power generation scenarios, an optimal scheduling model for the cascade HWPHS considering transmission section constraints is proposed to simulate the hydro-wind-PV complementary operation; finally, the long-term operating rules for the cascade HWPHS are extracted by grey relational analysis and BP neural network. As a case study, the HWPHS of the Wu River basin in China is chosen. Results demonstrate that the proposed model can effectively utilize the flexibility of cascade hydropower stations, improve transmission section utilization efficiency, and promote clean energy absorption. The issue of renewable energy curtailment poses a crucial challenge to its effective utilization. To address this challenge, mitigating the impact of the intermittency and volatility of wind and solar energy is essential. In this context, this paper employs scenario analysis to examine the complementary features of wind and solar hybrid systems. Firstly, the study defines two types of complementary indicators that distinguish between output smoothing and source-load matching. Secondly, a novel method for generating wind and solar output scenarios based on improved Generative Adversarial Networks is presented and compared against the conventional Monte Carlo and Copula function methods. Lastly, the generated wind and solar scenarios are employed to furnish complementary features. The testing results across eight regions indicate the proposed scenario generation method proficiently depicts the historical relevance as well as future uncertainties. This study found that compared to the Copula function method, the root mean square error of the generated data was reduced by 4% and 3.4% for independent and hybrid systems, respectively. Moreover, combining these two resources in most regions showed that the total output smoothness and source-load matching level cannot be enhanced simultaneously. With the centralization of wind power development, power-prediction technology based on wind power clusters has become an important means to reduce the volatility of wind power, so a large-scale power-prediction method of wind power clusters is proposed considering the prediction stability. Firstly, the fluctuating features of wind farms are constructed by acquiring statistical features to further build a divided model of wind power clusters using fuzzy clustering algorithm. Then the spatiotemporal features of the data of wind power are obtained using a spatiotemporal attention network to train the prediction model of wind power clusters in a large scale. Finally, the stability of predictive performance of wind power is analyzed using the comprehensive index evaluation system. The results show that the RMSE of wind power prediction is lower than 0.079 at large-scale wind farms based on the prediction method of wind power proposed in this paper using experience based on the data of 159 wind farms in the Nei Monggol Autonomous Region in China and the extreme error is better than 25% for the total capacity of wind farms, which indicates high stability and accuracy. Wind power generation does not emit greenhouse gases or pollutants, but there are some carbon emissions from the manufacturing, transportation, operation, and waste disposal of wind turbines. Directly driven permanent magnet and doubly fed asynchronous wind turbines currently have the largest market share in China, but few Chinese studies have compared their differences in carbon reduction potential. This paper uses life cycle assessment (LCA) to quantitatively analyze the full life cycle carbon emissions of the two wind turbines to determine which type of wind turbine has greater carbon reduction potential, obtaining the following results. (1) The full life cycle greenhouse gas emissions of 2.5 MW directly driven permanent magnet and doubly fed asynchronous wind turbines are 8.48 and 10.43 g CO2/kWh, respectively. The direct‐driven permanent magnet wind turbine is superior in terms of carbon reduction. (2) The stage with the greatest impact and the greatest difference between the two wind turbines in the full life cycle is the production stage, during which the carbon emissions of the directly driven permanent magnet and doubly fed asynchronous wind turbines are 1.045 × 106 and 1.210 × 106 kg, respectively. (3) According to sensitivity analysis, proper waste disposal and transportation can reduce carbon emissions from wind turbines. This paper discusses how the incorporation of high-resolution ground coverage dataset ESA WorldCover into a wind flow field and wake simulation calculation, as well as the use of the coupled wake model for wind farm output simulation, can improve the accuracy of wind resource assessment using engineering examples. In the actual case of grid-connected wind farms in central China, SCADA wind speed data is reconstructed to the free flow wind speed in front of the wind turbine impeller using the transfer function of the nacelle, and the wind farm is modeled using OpenWind software, simulating the wind speed at the height of each wind turbine hub and each wind turbine output. The results show that when other initial data are consistent, using ESA's high-precision land cover dataset WorldCover 10 m to make roughness lengths which improves the wind farm output simulation accuracy by 8.91%, showing that it is worth trying to apply WorldCover 10 m to the wind farm simulation design. At the same time, this case is used to compare and analyze the application of the Eddy-Viscosity wake model and the two coupled wake models based on the Eddy-Viscosity wake model. The results show that the coupled wake model will have higher accuracy than the Deep Array Eddy Viscosity wake model and it is 1.24% more accurate than the Eddy Viscosity wake model, and the ASM Eddy Viscosity wake model is 5.21% more accurate than the Eddy Viscosity wake model. Distributed energy resources aggregators (DERAs) are permitted to participate in regional wholesale markets in many counties. At present, new market players such as aggregators participate in China's power market transactions. However, studies related to market trading strategy have mostly focused on centralized wind power and PV generation units. Few studies have been conducted on the decision-making strategies for DERAs in China's power market. This paper proposes an auxiliary decision-making model for distributed energy systems to participate in the day-ahead market with more reasonable trading strategies. Firstly, the Gaussian mixture model (GMM) is used to deal with the uncertainties of wind power and photovoltaic (PV) output in the distributed energy system. Secondly, the information gap decision theory (IGDT) is used to deal with the uncertainty of price fluctuations in the spot electricity market. Thirdly, according to the different risk preferences of the DERAs facing market price fluctuation, the robust decision model and opportunity decision-making model in the day-ahead market are constructed, respectively. Finally, to deal with the irrational behavior of the DERAs' perception of "gain" and "loss" with market risks in China's two-tier market environment, the prospect theory and the marine predator's algorithm (MPA) are employed to obtain a day-ahead trading decision scheme for DERA. The analyses show that RDES with robust preference can withstand greater price volatility in the day-ahead market; they will reduce the bidding expectations and increase the system operating cost to improve the achievability of the expected revenue. However, DERAs under the opportunity strategy is more inclined to sell electricity to the market and offset system operating costs with revenue. The proposed model can provide strategic reference for DERAs with different risk preferences to bid in day-ahead market and can improve the level of aggregators' participation in electricity trading. To achieve the goal of 'Net-zero Europe' by 2050, the European Union (EU) has set up detailed policies in the fields of energy and climate. This paper summarizes the main characteristics of relevant policies in the EU and UK and their implications for China by reviewing these policies in the achievement of the carbon neutrality goal and other goals in the energy and climate fields. The characteristics of these energy and climate policies include: ① Top-down and bottom-up approaches are adopted to distribute the EU' s overall emission reduction targets to member states in accordance with the principle of fairness, and each member state formulates and adjusts its own goals to ensure the realization of the overall goals. ② Detailed transition plans are formulated for the power, industry, transportation, and building sectors; importance is attached to the application of new and renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, and hydrogen energy; specific goals are set concerning coal power transition, nuclear energy development, energy efficiency improvement, carbon capture and storage, electrification, and building renovations; and the importance of energy security in transition planning is stressed. ③ A sound and mature emissions trading system and a fair transition mechanism are established to support the realization of the transition goals, and developing countries are helped to reduce emissions through technical dialogues and climate financing. To reach peak carbon emissions and achieve carbon neutrality, China should develop relevant roadmaps at national, sectoral, and provincial levels and strengthen R&D of key decarbonization technologies. Clues of climate change on the Alashan Plateau since the last glacial period (40 ka) are important for revealing the mechanism of desertification of middle-latitude deserts in the Northern Hemisphere (NH). Studies are still rare for the understanding of the specific relationship of climate changes between the Alashan Plateau and the global. Based on a systematic and comparative analysis of the existing research in China and the international academic community, this paper reviews the environmental evolution history of the Alashan Plateau since the last glacial period from the records of paleo-environment and geomorphological characteristics in different deserts of the plateau (e.g., Badanjilin, Tenggeli, and Wulanbuhe). From about 40 ka to the end of the last glacial maximum, the climate on the plateau was wetter than it is today, and to the end of the Pleistocene, the climate was generally dry and the aeolian activities were enhanced. However, the climate was arid during the whole last glacial period in the Wulanbuhe Desert, evidently different from the overall pattern of the plateau. The Tenggeli Desert was characterized by an arid climate in the early Holocene. The most controversial events for the Alashan Plateau are the drought events in the middle Holocene in the Badanjilin Desert. The role and impact of the westerlies and the East Asian Summer Monsoon (EASM) systems on the climate change of the desert and even the whole plateau is a vexed question that brings different views in different periods. There is still a lack of definite evidence representing the events of global environmental change that occurred on the plateau during the discussed period. The distinctive morphology of dune mountains and the distribution of sand dunes are mutually indicative of the direction and energy of wind systems on the plateau. It is suggested that appropriate wind energy is the significant key to the desertification in these middle-latitude deserts on the plateau. From a global-scale review of climate change, the desertification of the modern-scale sandy desert landscapes on the Alashan Plateau is generally related to the global glacial period and the cold and dry climate during the past 40 ka. The medium- and long-term operation strategy of the hybrid power system needs to adapt to the continuous changes in the market. This paper presented a medium-term (monthly) operational simulation model and nested it into a long-term (yearly) optimization model. It was solved by the genetic algorithm (GA) to maximize yearly revenue. The planned delivered-electricity to power process constraints were present to improve the optimization efficiency. Using penalty price factor (α) and threshold of exempted punishment for the supply shortage δ to characterize the punishment for supply shortage risk. This framework was applied for a new hybrid power system so-called LCHES-WP (large-scale cascade hydropower energy storage system, wind power, PV power). It can participate in the electricity trading market with a bundled output pattern. The real cascade hydropower stations in Qinghai Province, China, are selected as the case study. In the baseline scenario, the current time of use (TOU) electricity price and punishment level (α = 0.05, δ = 5%) were considered. It reveals that (1) the revenue (baseline scenario, 6.15351 billion CNY) in the bundled output pattern is higher by 45.6% than in the separate output pattern. (2) the economic and technical indicators are sensitive to α , but not to δ. α increases make the punishment stricter, supply shortage risk was significantly reduced due to the probability of the shortage event, the maximum monthly supply shortage ratio and punishment electricity are reduced by up to 22.5 percentage points, 26.7 percentage points, and 1880.1 GWh, respectively. The yearly revenue is reduced by up to 4.7%. the reason is the yearly curtailment is increased and the penalty amount does not change dramatically with the changes in punishment. (3) The α = 0.6 and α = 1.8 can be regarded as demarcation point and upper boundary point for the case of hybrid power system, respectively. It is proposed that when planning a capacity scheme, stakeholders should consider that the demarcation point is higher than the current α. As installed wind power capacity continues to rise, the cost of onshore wind power generation in China has fallen, far exceeding the world average. The purpose of this study is to explore the main factors affecting onshore wind power in China and to identify ways to reduce costs. So as to reduce the cost of wind power and promote the large-scale grid-connected use of wind power. Therefore, this paper summarizes various factors that affect the development of onshore wind power. We also provide a comprehensive and repeatable MFLC (multi-factor learning curve) method to evaluate the factors affecting the cost of onshore wind power. Subsequently, the learning rates of various factors are calculated using this method. The results show that empirical learning by increasing installed capacity/generation, improving technology and selecting sites which are rich in natural resources, and appropriately reducing capital investment and material prices can significantly reduce the LCOE (levelized cost of electricity) of onshore wind power in China. Compared with wind power giants of the United States and Germany, the reduction in the cost of onshore wind power generation in China is more dependent on inputs such as capital investment and raw materials, while experience plays a relatively minor role. Currently, wind power prediction has so many problems in the ultra-short-term time scale (0–4h), which is difficult to improve the deterministic prediction and probability prediction accuracy of the wind farm cluster because it can not fully explore the spatio-temporal correlation between the physical change process and the wind farm. In this paper, a method of ultra-short-term deterministic and probability prediction of wind farm cluster power based on Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) considering fluctuation correlation (FC) is proposed. Firstly, the adjacency matrix is constructed based on the power sequence fluctuation information of each wind farm, and the GCN is designed. Secondly, the spatio-temporal features of power and Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) wind speed are extracted and fused based on the network model of dual-channel and dual-adjacency matrix. Thirdly, in order to effectively improve the prediction accuracy, a trend switching mechanism is designed based on the effective trend of NWP. When the fluctuation information of NWP is not accurate, the graph structure is constructed by the adjacency matrix based on geographical location to achieve effective prediction. Industrial development cannot be separated from policy guidance and support. Scientific evaluation and analysis of wind power industrial policies can promote the sustainable and healthy development of the industry, which has great significance to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of energy and achieve the double carbon target. In this paper, based on 66 wind power industrial policies from 2010 to 2021 in China, the policy texts were coded and classified into policy tools. By combining the text mining technology with the Policy Modeling Consistency (PMC) index model, 10 groups of evaluation index systems were established to evaluate the industrial policies quantitatively. The results show that the use of the three types of policy tools is unbalanced. Among them, environmental policy tools are used most frequently while supply and demand policy tools are relatively few. According to the PMC score, the overall situation of wind power industrial policy has certain scientific qualities. However, there are few policy texts for ordinary residents in terms of policy recipients, and there are shortcomings in technical support and talent construction. As the scale of distributed renewable energy represented by wind power and photovoltaic continues to expand and load demand gradually changes, the future evolution of the smart distribution network will be directly driven by both distributed generation and user demand. The smart distribution network contains a wide range of flexible resources, and its flexibility and uncertainty will bring great challenges to grid data acquisition and control feedback. To adapt to the precise control and feedback of smart distribution network access equipment under the high proportion of new energy access and to ensure the safe operation of the system, it is urgent to accelerate the study of the evolution of the future distribution grid based on the existing distribution grid. Hence, a multi-stage planning method for distribution networks based on source–load prediction is proposed in this paper. Firstly, a distribution network source–load prediction method based on the autoregressive integrated moving average model (ARIMA) and error gradient sampling is proposed, using ARIMA to predict the scale of source–load development and error gradient sampling based on the generation of source–load scenarios with error intervals. K-means is further used for scenario reduction, to explore multiple operating scenarios of China's distribution network source–load, and the unit's output forecast interval and load demand from 2021 to 2030 for typical regions are derived using rolling forecasts by combining the unit's output, end-demand and clean energy share over the years. Secondly, the planning model of distribution grid evolution in different stages is constructed to analyze the future evolution form of the distribution grid considering the distribution network's load cross-section, respectively, and to provide a development path reference for the future construction of distribution grid form in China. In recent years, under the guidance of China's green energy development strategy, a large number of photovoltaic, wind power and other DGs have been connected to the rural distribution network. The current rural distribution network structure, DG grid-connected location and capacity, line transmission capacity and other system conditions are in conflict with the ever-increasing rural power demand. DG output and load demand are continuously changing with time. The large-scale access of DGs and EVs has made the “source-load” side of the rural distribution network present significant uncertainty. The traditional topology of rural distribution network cannot cope with the impact of this “source-load” double uncertainty. Therefore, it is urgent to study a new method of dynamic reconfiguration for rural active distribution network. This paper establishes a dynamic reconfiguration model of active distribution network with DG consumption and line loss as objective functions. Taking into account the time-varying characteristics of “source-load”, this paper proposes a new method of dynamic reconfiguration of rural active distribution network based on regional division, and designs the process of this dynamic reconfiguration method. In order to improve the efficiency of solving the problem of dynamic reconfiguration of active distribution network, a regional division method is proposed for the first time. The regional division method includes two parts: The initial division of regions and the optimized division of regions. The dynamic reconfiguration method of active distribution network based on area division mainly includes the following four steps. Firstly, the distribution network structure is divided into several initial regions which include main line regions and branch line regions based on the regional initial division method. Secondly, with the goal of promoting the flexible and efficient combined application of DGs between regions, the result of regional initial division is optimized dynamically based on the breadth-first traversal algorithm in the graph theory algorithm. Thirdly, based on the obtained results of dynamic regional optimization, the depth-first traversal algorithm is used to test and modify the DNR scheme to meet the topology constraints of the distribution network. At this time, all feasible DNR schemes can be obtained. Finally, the fast non-dominated sorting strategy is adopted to select the best network reconfiguration scheme that meets the constraints such as node voltage. To validate the performance of the proposed method, it is tested on the well-known IEEE 33-node and PG&E 69-node distribution system. The simulation result of 33-node distribution system shows that the loss reduction effect of the proposed method is very good. Especially at 14:00, the loss reduction effect of the distribution network was the most obvious, which was reduced by 71.41%. At this time, the effect of increasing the utilization rate of DG consumption is also obvious. On this basis, the proposed method on the consumption of each DG was deeply analyzed in this article. Result shows that the proposed method can achieve complete consumption of DG. The voltage of each node under the network structure obtained by the regional optimization division method meets the voltage quality requirements. In addition, the average daily DG consumption rate of the PG&E 69-node distribution system was increased by 16.09 percent point, and the daily line loss was reduced by 55.32%. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulation of these two case studies. The simulation results show that the proposed method can fully switch and adjust the ability to improve the absorption capacity of the distributed power, reduce the line loss, suppress the fluctuation of the distributed power, and keep the node voltage smooth. The world's key renewable power markets are generally challenged by wind and solar power curtailment. Research on the influencing factors of curtailment improvement can provide a reference for the further penetration of renewable energy (RE) into the power system. Based on the logarithmic mean Divisia index (LMDI) method, this paper analyzes the factors influencing the wind and solar power consumption rate in China from 2015 to 2018, and four typical provinces are discussed in detail. By decomposing the consumption rate into six factors (transmission structure, generation proportion, power self-sufficiency, resource development, resource utilization, and power consumption), and focusing on the transmission structure factors, this paper further clarifies the contributions of local use, ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transmission, and conventional transmission to the improvement of curtailment. The results reveal the following. (1) At the national level, the power mixing effect and the resource development effect have played major roles in the change of the consumption rate, but the influences of these two effects have been decreasing. (2) The UHV power lines provide a robust resource for the inter-provincial deployment of renewable power (such as the RE power transfer in Inner Mongolia and Gansu), but the role of UHV transmission has not yet been fully utilized. (3) The impact of the electricity consumption effect on renewable power consumption is increasing year by year, but the local consumption capacity remains insufficient (both at the national level and in the four typical provinces analyzed), so it is necessary to further increase the share of renewable electricity in UHV power transmission and the local consumption capacity. (4) The expanding development of wind and solar power may be the reason for the curtailment in Shaanxi, and a reasonable renewable power development plan must be further formulated. Due to the insufficient consideration of medium and long-term wind power contract power in short-term dispatch, long-term planning and real-time consumption of wind power cannot be effectively undertaken, resulting in a large amount of abandoned wind power. A way to improve the wind power absorption capacity has become an urgent problem to be studied. According to the characteristics of the market and dispatching in the process of wind-fire integration construction, this paper constructs a wind power consumption model that connects the mid- and long-term transaction power decomposition and short-term dispatch. Considering the unit output characteristics and maintenance, the monthly contract electricity is decomposed into daily electricity, and the nesting of medium and long-term transactions and short-term scheduling is realized; the second stage is a short-term multi-objective optimal scheduling model considering the decomposition of contract electricity and the output of non-bidding units to improve the real-time consumption of wind power. The transfer of energy-intensive projects to areas abundant in clean energy resources holds promise for optimizing the energy structure. After obtaining specific information on transferred projects of listed energy-intensive firms through search or phone contact, this paper innovatively constructs a three-dimensional panel containing 1,859,220 observations to empirically examine the attraction of clean energy to energy-intensive projects under the carbon intensity constraint policy (CICP). Our findings reveal that: (1) the CICP promotes the transfer of gray energy-intensive projects, leading to the transfer structure trending towards graying. (2) Furthermore, we observe a positive correlation between the proportion of thermal power in transfer-out areas and the outflow of gray energy-intensive projects. Conversely, areas with higher wind power and photovoltaics attract a greater inflow of gray energy-intensive projects. (3) Notably, clean energy predominantly attracts the inflow of gray projects rather than green projects. Our findings provide micro evidence and valuable insights into the transfer of energy-intensive industries, informing the design and implementation of future environmental policies for policymakers and stakeholders. Compared with the point prediction of the wind power, the interval prediction provides more information to assist power dispatching and optimize quotation strategies in power trading. To improve the accuracy of the prediction intervals, this paper proposes a novel model based on the lower upper bound evaluation (LUBE) by the gate recurrent unit (GRU) network. First, the Pearson correlation coefficient is selected to screen out the variables related to wind power, which can simplify the input variables of the prediction model while preserving the feature information as much as possible. Afterwards, with the consideration of the prediction interval relative deviation (PIRD), the improved objective function is introduced. Based on the GRU network, the prediction intervals of the wind power can be obtained to minimize the new objective function. Finally, by choosing several mainstream neural networks, experiments are conducted towards a certain wind farm in China. The results show that the proposed model has a significant improvement in both prediction interval width and PIRD under the given prediction interval coverage probability (PICP). China's coastal region is the major geographical unit for the future development of China's industrial sector. The transformation of basic structure to high-class development in China's coastal places is a significant tool for promoting the changes related to quality, power and efficiency in regional economic development. In the 21st century, environmental and energy issues have increased worldwide, and challenges related to environmental pollution, energy crises, and ecological imbalances have emerged. To climate change and energy utilization, the sustainable progress of clean energy is the new route of future energy development. Based on China's non-polluting energy growth process in the last ten years, this article explores China's clean/green energy policies and economic growth development plans. Clean energy utilization is crucial for sustainable development in the context of high-quality economic growth and climate change. However, the monetary evolution and carbon emission are not investigated whole from the clean energy aspects. Using Wind energy sources as the acceptable variable, this paper employs threshold regression and impulse functions to assess the energy consumption and economic growth on carbon emission in 30 Chinese provinces over the 2000 to 2020 period. The Deep Belief Network (DBN) model predicts wind energy utilization and efficiency. The results show that economic development and carbon emissions are connected. Further, growth influences promote the offset of carbon emissions. Green innovation alters the nexus of carbon emissions, and China's economy reduces carbon usage. Wind and solar power are expected to play important roles in many countries to achieve carbon neutrality; however, their inherent instabilities pose significant threats to existing power grids. Because hydropower has been recognized as a viable compensatory resource for solar and wind energy uncertainties, many studies have sought to determine optimal scheduling strategies for hydro-PV, hydro-wind, and hydro-PV-wind systems. However, few studies have simultaneously considered the sizing and scheduling of large-scale hydro-PV-wind hybrid systems connected to long-distance transmission lines. Therefore, this paper develops a mathematical metric to measure the wind and solar output complementarity and incorporates it into a multi-objective sizing and scheduling model for a hybrid hydro-PV-wind system, in which resource complementarity, profit generation, system reliability, and power curtailment trade-offs are concurrently considered. The ɛ -constraint method is employed and decision makers' attitude parameters are introduced to transform the proposed model into its equivalent single objective form. A case study in China reveals that the maximum wind and solar power output complementarity rate can be at least 0.19 for the studied hybrid hydro-PV-wind system. The incorporation of wind enables the hybrid hydro-PV-wind system to provide 4.11% more load than a hydro-PV system. In addition, if 2% of power curtailment is permitted, 1.53% more load can be served and 14.9% higher profits can be earned. There are still research deficiencies in wind farm ecological impacts at project scale from an ecological restoration perspective. It is of great necessity to monitor the ecological impacts with time going and explore ecological restoration strategies for wind power development. The research case of Zhongying Wind Farm is selected based on investigation and interviews regarding its ecological impact in the prior study. It employs a comparative methodology by comparing the ecological quality before and after the construction of Zhongying Wind Farm. Raw data from Landsat 8, the Digital Elevation Model (DEM), the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), and wind turbine statistics originating from open data platforms are analyzed and visually represented with ArcGIS. This paper establishes an ecological network based on morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA) and the Minimum Cumulative Resistance (MCR) model to quantify wind farms' impacts on ecological corridors. The circuit theory and Pajek software are used to identify and categorize the ecological nodes into weak and obstacle points. The results reveal that ecological impacts on ecological corridors decay with distance, reflecting changes in length, connection strength and cumulative values of corridors. While the impacts on ecological nodes depend on nodes' attributes: the number of weak points increased by 18.5 %, and obstacle points increased by 350 %, with their locations shifting from the edges of urban construction sites to the edges of wind farm. Differentiated strategies are proposed according to the impact magnitude of each ecological corridor and node: such as dynamic inspection mechanism, construction prohibition for protection; corridor structure and function recovering, stepping stones addition for restoration; buffer belts, warning radar, and monetary schemes for compensation. Aiming at a large number of decentralized resources such as rural biomass, rooftop photovoltaic, and decentralized wind power, a novel rural virtual power plant (VPP) has been conceptualized. The VPP is integrated by biomass waste conversion system (BWC), carbon to energy (C2P), demand response aggregator (DRA), and distributed renewable energy (DRE), namely, BDCD-VPP. Then, this paper proposes a data-driven two-stage robust optimization dispatching model for BDCD-VPP considering carbon-green certificates equivalent conversion mechanism. This model aims to address the uncertainty of wind power plants (WPP) and photovoltaic (PV) power generation. Strong duality theorem (SDT) and C&CG algorithm are applied to construct this model. Thirdly, the Aumann-Shapley method (A-S) was enhanced by incorporating risk factor, cost factor, and carbon reduction factor. This refinement results in the development of a synergistic scheduling revenue allocation method for electricity‑carbon-green certificates. Finally, the Lankao rural energy revolution pilot program in China is selected as the case study, the results showed: (1) The BDCD-VPP aggregates distributed energy sources such as the rural WPP and the PV to realize electricity‑carbon-electricity cycle effect. The BDCD-VPP generates a green certificate revenue of 47.17¥/MWh and exhibited carbon emissions of 0.37 t/MWh. The proposed Carbon-Green Certificates Equivalent Conversion Mechanism increases BDCD-VPP benefit ratio by 3.52%. (2) The proposed two-stage robust optimization dispatching model enhances the ability of BDCD-VPP to adapt to uncertainty. Compared to the day-ahead stage, biomass power generation (BPG) and waste power generation (WPG) increase upward peaking power by 24.05% and 9.99% in intra-day stage. Flue gas treatment system (FG-TS), gas-power plant carbon capture (GPPCC) and power to gas (P2G) increase downward peaking power by 65.15%, 70.99% and 25.94%. (3) Utilizing the proposed benefit allocation methodology, BPG and WPG need to concede 38.25¥/MWh and 65.02¥/MWh for carbon emissions associated with electricity. WPP and PV need to concede 64.25¥/MWh and 33.71¥/MWh for power generation uncertainty. GPPCC, P2G, DRA, and small hydropower station (SHS) obtain revenues of 24.48 ¥/MWh, 55.07 ¥/MWh, 70.38 ¥/MWh, and 51.30 ¥/MWh. Compared to the A-S, the proposed benefit allocation methodology exhibits 6.92% improvement in satisfaction. Overall, the proposed data-driven two-stage robust optimization dispatching model and benefit allocation strategy facilitates the optimal aggregation and utilization of rural distributed energy resources, considering the interests of various stakeholders. Wind energy assessment at multi-time scale is essential for the effective utilization of offshore wind resources. Conventionally, energy assessment factors are estimated based on parametric models under the assumption of wind speed stationarity. However, given the subjection of seasonal variability and long-term trends, the hypothesis is violated, especially in the context of climate change. In this paper, to advance the conventional approach, wind speeds were modelled using the decomposition-based method to consider the non-stationarity, and a novel framework for the estimation of energy factors at multi-time scale was designed. Using long-term ERA5 data, wind energy potential across the sea area along Chinese continental coastline was investigated. It is demonstrated that the established non-stationary models are superior to commonly used stationary models, allowing the estimation of energy assessment factors at arbitrary time scales after one-time parametrization of parametric distributions. Results confirmed that wind energy exhibits apparently temporal and spatial variability. The difference between annual averaged wind power density at different nodes exceeds 1000 W/m2. Moreover, significant long-term trends of wind energy characteristics were detected. The increase can be up to 16 W/m2/year in Taiwan Strait, emphasizing that an adequate consideration of the non-stationarity of wind speed in future research is required. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The issue of large-scale retirements of renewable energy modules has attracted considerable attention from governments and the public worldwide. Using the Chinese wind and photovoltaic industries as examples, this paper, for the first time, employs a real options approach to explore the optimal time for energy firms to retire their power plants and to predict the future trend of renewable energy wastage from a bottom-up perspective. The results show that the optimal retirement time for the four subdivided categories ranges from 16 to 23 years. The later the investments are made, the earlier the decommissioning time comes and the lower the project returns. Furthermore, wind projects have been found to generate more revenue than PV projects for the same size, and the gap continues to widen. Offshore wind technology always has the longest optimal service life (18.62 years in 2022) and the greatest project returns (10.84 million CNY in 2022). Annual utilization hours, the renewable electricity price and the waste price can accelerate the retirement of plants and generate more revenue for energy companies, while the initial investment cost has a completely opposite effect. The first wave of PV retirements will occur in 2035 at 305.82 GW, while onshore wind will be in 2036 at 530.77 GW and offshore wind will not explode until 2040 at 65.84 GW. An assessment of potential policies suggests that for every 100 CNY increase in incentive strength, the retirement wave arrives 1 year earlier. In contrast, for every 100 CNY increase in the strength of penalties, the retirement wave is delayed by 1 year. In addition, we verify that the size of the plants does not affect the forecast of the retirement trend, indicating that the assumptions about installed capacity do not cause bias. Accurately predicting wind and photovoltaic power is one of the keys to improving the economy of wind-solar complementary power generation system, reducing scheduling costs and no-load losses, and ensuring grid stability. However, the natural properties of energy result in complex fluctuations in their corresponding power sequences, making accurate predictions difficult. Therefore, this paper proposes an intelligent prediction system that combines decomposition algorithms and deep learning for ultra-short-term prediction of wind and photovoltaic power. First, an improved decomposition algorithm is proposed, based on fuzzy entropy's property that its value increases with the increase of sequence uncertainty, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to search for the optimal parameter combinations of variational modal decomposition (VMD), so that it can automatically adjust the parameters for energy data with different characteristics to reduce the human error. Then, a convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture that balances operational efficiency and prediction performance is constructed, and the hyperparameters of the CNN are optimized using the wild horse optimization algorithm (WHO) to improve the stability and accuracy of the prediction model. In this paper, real data from wind power plants and photovoltaic power plants in China are used as experimental objects, and experiments are carried out in three aspects, namely, benchmark model selection, decomposition algorithm comparison and combined model comparison. The results show that selecting CNN as the benchmark model is a good choice; the improved VMD has better decomposition performance than other state-of-the-art decomposition algorithms. Wind power prediction technology is important for building novel power systems with a high proportion of renewable energy. The quality of Numerical weather prediction (NWP) has a significant impact on the accuracy of ultra-short-term wind power prediction (USTWPP). However, existing NWP do not reflect the adaptability of different weather processes, because of it' s forecasting errors. In view of this, this paper proposes an USTWPP method based on NWP wind speed correction and division of transitional weather process. The combined prediction method was first used to correct the NWP wind speed, and then we use the double clustering method to divide the transitional weather processes to establish a model for USTWPP based on different scenarios, the overall method was finally applied to a wind farm in west inner Mongolia, China. Compared to the pre-correction, the wind speed forecasted RMSE was reduced by 1.702 and the MAE by 1.366. Based on the wind power ultra-short-term prediction method proposed in this paper, the average reduction in RMSE is 5.93% and in MAE is 4.82% compared to the various comparison methods in the four seasons.
