Among the classical dances, Odissi is one of the major classical dances. With time, the dance performances of various Odissi gurus spread Odissi dance outside India and other countries. Like other Indian classical dances in Bangladesh, Odissi dance is also growing in popularity. In 1985, Padma Vibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra's illustrious disciple, Smt. Sanjukta Panigrahi received the first Odissi classical dance promotion. In 1989 Smt. Sani Mahapatra first popularized Odissi dance in the dance style of Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra in Bangladesh. At present Odissi dance has been attached to the dance department in Bangladesh University of Dhaka. Also, Odissi training is being given at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Indian High Commission, IGCCR, Shanta Mariam Private University, and various institutions. As a result, the promotion and expansion of Odissi dance have been significantly noticeable in the past few years. A common variant of classical knock control strategies replaces fixed magnitude control moves with control actions that depend on the knock severity of the prior cycle. Though appealing to notions of proportional control, it is unclear whether such strategies offer benefit given the random nature of knock events. In this paper a new generalized event-based framework is developed and used to extend both time domain simulation and stochastic analysis methods for analyzing the closed loop behavior of such systems. These tools are then used to perform a rigorous analysis and comparison between standard advance-retard and severity-based control strategies. The analysis is also repeated using a lower knock threshold definition. The results show that the performance of severity-based knock control differs minimally from a similarly tuned standard advance-retard controller, and there is little benefit to recompense the additional complexity of severity-based control. This paper examines recent statistics of classical concert attendance, theories as to why attendance rates are low, marketing methods for target audiences, and finally, recommendations to solve the dilemma of empty concert halls. To encourage concert attendance, classical music must be tastefully marketed to present-day audiences through the experience of technically excellent, musical, and interesting live performances. Classical knock control strategies are still widely used in production vehicles but exist in several variant forms whose performance with respect to one another, and to engine efficiency, ease of calibration and analytical tractability has not been rigorously evaluated. This paper examines the absolute and relative performance of these strategies subject to both transient and systematic disturbances using both time history simulation methods and analytical methods. The former illustrates the response to specific instances of the knock process, while the latter enables the statistical properties of the closed loop response to be computed and compared. The paper focuses on the structure of an advertising image for a 2010s computer company in the neo-capitalist Moscow, Russia. The analysis looks back to the pioneering studies of advertising as a commercial "applied art" by Sergei Eisenstein, Leo Spitzer and Roland Barthes. The picture's plot and composition are shown to be a consistent and sophisticated near-artistic design that uses textual puns, poetic topoi and visual stereotypes (in particular, sex appeal) for the promotion of the advertised merchandise (a smartphone). The psychological naturalization of the design is clarified with references to the insights of Sigmund Freud, Heinz Kohut and Gerard Genette into the dynamics of narcissism. In a widening circle, the contextualization of the design involves: the literary topos of using birds in love poetry (made famous by its treatment in the lyrics of the Roman poet Catullus) and in painterly variations on the theme; the narcissist discourse of a modern Russian poet (Eduard Limonov); and the grand pictorial tradition of portraying a nude (Venus) before the mirror (relevant classical canvases are considered briefly). The paper looks at the circulation of music in new spaces produced by technologies of recording, amplification, and transmission. It argues for the making of new categories that go beyond 'classical' and 'popular' especially in the context of southern India and the tradition that is identified as Carnatic music. It looks at Radio and televisual broadcasting to capture new listening communities and their acoustic aspirations. It argues for new radio geographies that reinforced identity of regions and their practices and gave them greater leverage in relation to the nation and national pool of resources. In contrast the television as a medium of spectacle and entertainment impacted listening experiences quite differently even as it expanded the viewership beyond the confines of the nation space. We construct infinite-dimensional analogues of finite-dimensional simple modules of the nonstandard q -deformed enveloping algebra U q ′ (so n) defined by Gavrilik and Klimyk, and we do the same for the classical universal enveloping algebra U (so n). In this paper we only consider the case when q is not a root of unity, and q → 1 for the classical case. Extending work by Mazorchuk on so n , we provide rational matrix coefficients for these infinite-dimensional modules of both U q ′ (so n) and U (so n). We use these modules with rationalized formulas to embed the respective algebras into skew group algebras of shift operators. Casimir elements of U q ′ (so n) were given by Gavrilik and Iorgov, and we consider the commutative subalgebra Γ ⊂ U q ′ (so n) generated by these elements and the corresponding subalgebra Γ 1 ⊂ U (so n). The images of Γ and Γ 1 under their respective embeddings into skew group algebras are equal to invariant algebras under certain group actions. Undesirable companion dog behaviours negatively impact the lives of both owners and dogs. Therefore, it is imperative that behaviour modification interventions are researched to establish effectiveness. Counterconditioning is commonly recommended for modification of a broad range of undesirable dog behaviours, however, to date, no comprehensive review has investigated the effectiveness of this technique. This study aimed to evaluate the existing literature on counterconditioning interventions for dog behaviour modification, adopting broad inclusion criteria. Following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, 12 peer-reviewed papers and 2 dissertations were identified. A review of these 14 studies found that there were discrepancies in the definitions and applications of counterconditioning-based interventions. These discrepancies were based on the contingency with which dogs received reinforcement and could be categorised into classical and operant counterconditioning methodologies. The majority of the studies resulted in positive outcomes, particularly when addressing undesirable kennel behaviours and aggressive behaviours towards other dogs or household visitors. However, separation-related behaviours were found to be more resistant to change. Furthermore, heterogeneity in intervention techniques, reliance on expert implementation or instruction, and small sample sizes, limit the generalisability of the results. Our review confirms the effectiveness of counterconditioning in reducing undesirable dog behaviours, however it is essential that future studies clearly detail all aspects of the intervention, such that methodologies can be accurately understood, applied, and compared. The global era has led to fairly rapid changes in language. Many words have become obsolete. There are also many words whose meanings have become irrelevant nowadays. Unfortunately, in Indonesian dictionaries, especially in the Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI; Comprehensive dictionary of Indonesian), there is no label for obsolete words. There is only an "archaic" label to mark all outdated words and a "classic" label to mark classical words. Another labeling problem in the KBBI is that there are no clear guidelines or criteria to determine when a word is considered archaic, obsolete, or classic. The absence of clear criteria causes some entries that have been labeled "archaic" in the KBBI to seem obsolete, and sometimes words labeled as classic get confused with archaic words. The aim of this article is to investigate ways of categorizing archaic, obsolete, and classic words in the KBBI. This research was conducted by comparing several forms and entry criteria labeled "archaic," "obsolete," and "classic" in several dictionaries, in particular dictionaries of foreign languages whose lexicographic traditions are well established. Each dictionary has its own criteria for classifying a word as archaic, obsolete, or classic, and we can learn from them. This article examines Kathak as an Inter-Asia dance form across India and Hong Kong. Typified as "classical" dance in India, Kathak's twenty-first-century transposition to Hong Kong is enabled by members of the Indian diaspora and local performers. Kathak's expansion is also facilitated by an interest in popular Indian culture across Asia, notably through Bollywood. Against this background, Kathak cohabits a tension between a classicized identity in India, and an ethnicized folk representation abroad. Drawing on perspectives of Kathak practitioners and my study of the dance in Hong Kong and India, I examine structures that enable the institutionalization of certain art forms and popularization of others. An analytical consideration of dance as performance art, academic discipline, and professional pursuit requires an Inter-Asia methodology of triangulation to examine narratives of "high" culture. Serum ferritin (SF) is frequently elevated in classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL). We report on its prognostic significance in an unselected series of 529 cHL patients treated with state-of-the-art therapy. Higher baseline levels correlated with markers of advanced/aggressive disease. SF levels were significantly higher in male and older patients, those with high body mass index and mixed cellularity histology. The strongest correlation was recorded between SF and complement reactive protein (CRP) levels. Gender-specific SF cutoffs which provided the best discrimination in terms of freedom from progression (FFP) were identified. In multivariate analysis elevated SF levels, advanced stage and high lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) were independent prognostic factors of inferior FFP. SF also appears to retain independent prognostic significance for progression-free survival (PFS) but not for overall survival (OS). On the Origins and Development of Medicine, 1764) by the Qing dynasty physician Xú Dàchūn (1693-1771). As a leading exponent of Hànxué ('Han learning'), a movement which sought to return medicine to the lofty purity of former times, Xú's 18th century writings on acupuncture will be of particular note to practitioners with an interest in classical approaches. While the Mediterranean civilization reshaped protohistoric communities with the introduction of the coinage, it is fairly interesting in which way the Celts embraced the Classical iconography of Zeus and the compound messages behind it. Initially, they were made for interaction with a Greek or a Roman and not a Celt. The author of this article questions whether the La Tène's wheel motif had penetrated the coin's imagery from the warrior's thought - to whom, the lighting wheel, in combination with other signifiers, could stand as an 'Amalgamation Switcher' for the thunder-deity Taranis and his forgotten lore.
