Today's dynamic and changing business environment raises numerous challenges for any business organization, irrespective of its size and industry. The Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought numerous advancements in the information and communications technologies which require continuous innovation. This is why corporations, especially multinational and transnational, have heavily invested in research and development activities in order to increase their efficiency. The rapid spread of digital technologies has determined corporate management to re-evaluate its approach towards innovation and, therefore, corporations began to establish innovation ecosystems. The goal of the paper is to illustrate and analyse the hierarchy of America's most innovative corporations in the period 2022-2023. The author applied a qualitative research method in order to achieve the aim of the paper. The paper demonstrates that innovation, in general, and corporate innovation, in particular, represent key factors in ensuring business success. This paper aimed to explore customer value-driven factors and evaluated competitive positioning to formulate the sustainable business strategy for theme parks in Taiwan. We employed Borda count to obtained the customer value-driven factors. This paper further developed a hybrid quantified SWOT analysis to identify the competitive positioning for the four major theme parks in Taiwan, The findings in this paper were: (1) There are nine customer value-driven factors attributed into the three dimensions of park characteristics, service characteristics, and exogenous characteristics, which are significant important for theme park sustainable survive; (2) Lihpao Resort is located in the first (SO) quadrant with its internal strengths and external opportunities simultaneously but it has less external opportunities; (3) Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village is located in the third (WT) quadrant with its internal weakness and external threats, which has the worst performance compared with other theme parks in this paper; (4) Leafoo Village Theme Park is located in the first (SO) quadrant with its internal strengths and external opportunities, which has less internal strengths compared with Lihpao Resort; and (5) Janfusun Fancy World is located in the fourth (TS) quadrant with its the external threats and internal strengths. Conclusions and suggestions are also discussed. The third and fourth papers shift the focus from the companies' internal dynamics to those concerning the relationships that companies must operate with external stakeholders to implement circular business models. Finally, the fifth and sixth papers further shift the focus on the business model concept towards the business ecosystems, which include all the other stakeholders in the organizational environment that concur to the circular business model operations. This study finds a bibliometric regularity in the finance literature that the number of authors publishing n papers is about l/nc of those publishing one paper. We find that the finance literature conforms very well to the inverse square law (c = 2) if data are taken from a large collection of journals. When applied to individual finance journals, we find that values of c range from 1.95 to 3.26. We also find that top-rated journals have higher concentrations among their contributors. Different capital structures and their impact on firm performance are one of the most studied topics in the finance literature. This study is an attempt to assess the impact of financial structure on profitability of agricultural enterprises in the Republic of Serbia, with the aim of evaluating the importance and nature of the contribution of the total, short-term and long-term aspects of debt to the success of the company. The financial performance of the selected sample of 38 medium and large agricultural enterprises in the Republic of Serbia was analysed in the period from 2018 to 2021. The findings of this paper indicate that total debt and short-term debt significantly determine the return on equity, while the effect of long-term debt is insignificant. The nature of the impact of all three aspects of financial structure is negative. The inclusion of size and growth of sales in the regression models showed that only annual sales growth significantly positively determines profitability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The attributes or criteria used in the requirements prioritization process become an essential reference in calculating priorities. Most of the techniques are used to increase the value impacting business success. On the contrary, there are limitations on cost, time, and resources for developing software. Therefore, the requirements prioritization process often requires collaboration from the perspectives involved. So far, the pattern and basis have not been seen in the criteria used in the requirements prioritization process. Consequently, there need to be other factors that become a reference so that the selection of criteria is appropriate. This study identifies criteria based on the categorized perspectives of requirements prioritization. A systematic literature review presents criteria for prioritizing requirements from multiple collaborative perspectives. Findings show that the criteria in requirements prioritization can be classified into beneficial and non-beneficial, where business value and development cost are the most frequently used criteria. Furthermore, the involvement of multiple perspectives in requirements prioritization focuses on the client’s and developer’s perspectives. The findings also reveal that some of the challenges in the requirements prioritization process are biases by stakeholders, reducing pairwise comparison, and scalability. In the future, it will be investigated whether the selection of criteria correlated with stakeholder perspectives will increase the accuracy of priorities. Research Question: Through a systematic review of the relevant literature, this paper identifies and analyses key success factors in technology entrepreneurship and provides a novel classification and systematization of the factors. Also, it provides a prioritization of the selected factors by tech entrepreneurs. Motivation: The conditions of uncertainty and the dynamic environment in which one technological venture operates cause that only a small number of them succeed (Baron, 2000; Changsok et al., 2012; Tomy & Pardede, 2018; Chen et al., 2019). Comprehensive systematization of success factors is lacking in the professional literature. This paper contributes to the literature in this field by systematizing and prioritizing the key success factors in technological entrepreneurship, as a usable basis for further research and decision making. Idea: The core idea of this paper was to provide an overview of existing knowledge and a systematized basis for further research, but also for work in the practice of technological entrepreneurship, giving guidance to all stakeholders and decision makers, entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers. Data: The review was conducted using online repositories of scientific publications on technology entrepreneurship success factors published in the period from 1980 to 2021. In total, 661 articles were identified, while 45 articles met the selection criteria and represent the basis for further research of this paper. In order to determine the prioritization of the identified factors, empirical research was conducted among decision makers of technological entrepreneurial ventures. Tools: The research and review of the literature were conducted by structured keyword search of the Web of Science database, while the process of article selection was performed using the identified selection algorithm, based on two phases, which both included the selection criteria. For the purposes of empirical research, the Google form questionnaire was used for collecting the data on the prioritization of the factors by technology entrepreneurs. Findings: The factors that are key to the success of technology ventures are often complex in nature. 151 originally identified success factors from different authors were classed into 31 groups. Based on the identified groups, five large groups of factors were used for classification: "characteristics of the founder/founding team", "environment", "technology and innovation", "organization" and "strategy". As a result of empirical research, the factor "motivation" emerges as the most influential factor on a venture's success, while the "size of the founding team" is identified as the least influential. Contribution: This paper extends the existing literature providing the systematization of key technology entrepreneurship success factors with the systematization of scientific publications as a basis for further research. The paper aims to study the use of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAP) farmers' networking activities to overcome challenges in the development of their business. MAPs are mostly cultivated in small farms located in rural territories. This presents many challenges in different dimensions of business development through the value-chain, namely in commercialization. That is why networking and collaboration with other actors may have an important role, by providing the scale and critical resources towards business success and value-chain sustainable development. The paper draws on a purposefully collected set of data on a network of Portuguese producers of MAP, organized under the EPAM project. The data was collected through a questionnaire and quantitatively analyzed in order to understand: i) how MAP farmers perceive the importance of networks for the development of their businesses? ii) How are networks enabling farmers with different profiles to develop their businesses? The results confirm the importance of networks for the development of these businesses, namely with other firms. However, it is possible to identify some diversity in the assessment of the role of those networks, both by taking into consideration the location of the farms and their positioning in the value-chain. The study contributes to a better understanding of how networking contributes to overcome barriers in the sustainable development of an agri-food value-chain, by stressing a variety of networking proposes and partners and the existence of differences across types of firms. The sustainability of the family business mirrors the business success and functionality of the family. Sustainability cannot be ensured without sufficient business profitability, solvency and financial stability. A company unable to pay its obligations on time is insolvent and, therefore, unhealthy. The paper’s main goal is to evaluate the impact of selected economic aspects on the sustainability of family farms in Slovakia. The Finstat database serves as the source of input data for the research. For the economic analysis of the family and non-family sets of companies, Grünwald's bonity index (GIB) was chosen for its universality. According to the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, family businesses can be considered less risky, especially considering the conservative way of management and the effort for long-term sustainability. However, the results of our research may differ. Family businesses show higher profitability of total and mainly equity capital but also low current liquidity and an under-capitalised state. The most increased noncredit current liquidity was achieved in family businesses in the pandemic years 2020 and 2021. The family businesses we monitored are more profitable than non-family businesses, they do not show an excessive increase in investments, and most of them seem to have a targeted and purposeful high level of short-term liabilities. Digitalization becomes a key strategy for the success of businesses, which in today's critical times, are under remarkable pressures and diffused uncertainty. The rapid pace of digitization is forcing deep changes in the modus operandi of organizations. This phenomenon is even more so true for accounting organizations considering that, by implementing blockchain, RPA, cloud, big data, cybersecurity, and AI, accountants might have the most digitized workplace of all. The purpose of this paper is to explore how these emergent technologies are contributing to the digital transformation of accounting firms. Based on a qualitative approach, the methodology consists of a thematic analysis of the academic literature to reveal the synergic effect of the most disruptive emergent technologies for accountancy firms. The modern business environment requires the integration of green strategies into processes. Manufacturers of electronics products are among the many industries where the growing significance of sustainability issues significantly impacts businesses. As an essential part of these green strategies, green marketing techniques have the power to dramatically impact business success as well as environmental results. Therefore, using a stakeholder-driven empirical framework, this paper aims to investigate the impact of several aspects, including ethical pricing, sustainable marketing, eco-friendly products, and eco-friendly location, upon the business performance of electronic industries in India. This study uses a smart partial least square model, a potent analytical application, in order to clarify the complex connection involving green marketing techniques and electronics business success. An online survey was performed among the executives and managers of companies in the Indian electronics manufacturing industry. A total number of 175 questionnaires from managers and executives of the electronic business sector were gathered for the study. The study's findings suggested that green marketing factors have a major influence on the success of the Indian electronics manufacturing business's performance. In addition to the expanding body of information on green marketing, the research's results will be helpful to electronics companies looking to preserve or enhance their success in a cutthroat market while stepping up their efforts to be more sustainable. Purpose: Customer-obsessed organizations put customers first, create exceptional value and enhance business performance. This paper aims to offer a framework for implementing the customer obsession construct. Design/methodology/approach: Using relevant customer value literature, syndicated research and a qualitative analysis, customer obsession insights are offered. Findings: Customer-obsessed companies know their customers' needs and engage with them to offer the best solutions. Four customer-centric stages are evaluated, and applications of customer obsession in the Now Economy are discussed. Research limitations/implications: This analysis of customer obsession is largely conceptual and presents a case study in one metropolitan statistical area. Although the findings are insightful, it may not be representative of the US or global health-care market. Practical implications: Strategic implications relate to a bias for action, types of business obsessions, values alignment and benchmarking. This paper features an in-depth case study on Baptist Health South Florida which assesses customer obsession using a customer value framework. Originality/value: Customer obsession is a strategic mindset built upon strong leadership, a sound business culture and superior value. The aim of this paper is to show that business entities that apply ethical principles in their business, gain a good reputation on the market and trust in the quality of their product. Thus, it is known that the business entity is responsible, which enables it to fulfill the basic goal of business, which is to make a profit. The subject of research in this paper is the impact of socially responsible business on the market position of business entities. The authors specifically investigated the application and impact of socially responsible business rules on the position of agricultural farms in the territory of the municipality of Ruma. The instruments used in this research are a survey of farm owners and other stakeholders, an extensive literate review and a method of comparative analysis. The results of the research show that compliance with the rules of business ethics, in the long term, brings more profit to the business entity, so compliance with those standards is becoming more and more universal. That is why agricultural producers follow the rules of socially responsible business. The authors concluded that the social responsibility of business entities is an ethical demand that society places on them, a correlation with two demands that they are already faced with: economic - gaining profit and legal. The aim of this paper was to determine whether company innovativeness is significant for the price and volatility of stocks. In modern business conditions, innovation is one of the foundations of business success because companies that innovate not only monitor changes in the environment but also generate new revenue, open new markets, and so on, which significantly improves their position in relation to the competition. Exploring the significance of innovation for stock price movements can be important for understanding how the market reacts to innovation, but it can also motivate companies to invest more in innovation processes and the implementation of innovation activities. In the paper, the authors used a quantitative methodology based on a panel regression analysis of data collected from secondary sources for the period from 2005 to 2020. The research included eight of the most innovative companies ranked by the Boston Consulting Group. The results indicate that company innovativeness is statistically significant for average stock price and coefficients of variability. Given the important role that innovativeness plays in a company's business, the results obtained can serve as guidelines for managers in charge of implementing innovation activities in companies, as well as investors and other relevant stakeholders. Recommendations for future research are aimed at expanding the model with additional variables, which could potentially increase the representativeness of the model, and testing existing models on other data sources. Underdog stories––in which the disadvantaged and outmatched protagonist overcomes the odds—are ubiquitous. Leaders across industries, from telecom to sports, employ these narratives to inspire members of their organizations. However, little is understood about how underdog narratives influence the actions and attitudes of members of organizations. To address this gap, we explain how a leader's communication of an underdog narrative may instill confidence in members of the organization that together they can overcome their shared disadvantage and achieve a clear set of organizational aspirations. In doing so, we introduce a conceptual model that draws on the sensemaking and social identity literatures to explain how a leader's underdog narrative fosters the adoption of a collective underdog identity by members of an organization. Further, we explain that the specific attributes of the leader's underdog narrative influence how this unique type of collective identity leads to varied outcomes for members of an organization. The appearance and development of lean philosophy, principles, and practices have proved to represent a turning point in the evolution of the business world and a possible solution for enterprises to cope with these challenges. The paper proposes an analysis of the success factors of SMEs in the award of contracts based on public procurement. Research results have shown that SMEs to win contracts through public tenders increases significantly if more attention is paid to tender personnel training and to the digitalisation of key tendering activities. The originality and novelty of the paper lies in the study of the two factors that influence SMEs participation in public procurement procedures. The research findings highlight the fact that the success of a business is directly proportional to the full involvement of the team in the activity, to the company's tendering activity revamping, respectively, through digitalisation. This paper explores the integration of lean principles into supply chain operations and its impact on enhancing the value creation stream. Lean principles, originally developed in the manufacturing sector, focus on waste reduction, continuous improvement, and value maximization from the customer perspective. By applying these principles to supply chain management, organizations can streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. The study investigates key lean methodologies, such as Just-In-Time inventory, Total Quality Management and the 5S system, and examines their application in various stages of the supply chain, including procurement, production, and distribution. Through a combination of case studies and empirical data, the research highlights how lean initiatives lead to significant improvements in supply chain performance metrics, such as lead time, inventory levels, and defect rates. Findings demonstrate that lean supply chain practices foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among supply chain partners, ultimately enhancing the responsiveness and agility of the supply chain. Furthermore, the paper discusses the challenges and best practices for implementing lean principles in supply chain management, providing a roadmap for organizations seeking to optimize their supply chain value creation. The study applies a systematic literature review with the aim of providing insight into theoretical approaches to digital entrepreneurship and branding, which represent new and actual concepts that significantly affect the business success of contemporary organisations. When defining the research subject, it was considered that the digital economy is largely conditioned by the emergence of entrepreneurial actions that have produced innovations in the domain of digital technology. Therefore, the study of digital entrepreneurship and branding is of interest for academicians, business practitioners, as well as public and political subjects that support this phenomenon, bearing in mind its positive effects on encouraging employment, social and economic development. The research findings have provided a scientific insight into the conceptualization of digital entrepreneurship and branding, indicating their interrelations with innovations, digital technologies, and creative abilities. The theoretical part of the research was additionally supplemented with a survey that provided an analysis of employees’ views on the application of digital entrepreneurship in the Republic of Serbia. The paper has also demonstrated that doing business in a digital environment and digital innovations give the organisations an access to new resources, and above all to quality and up to date information, services, and online communities, which condition their expansion in the markets. Purpose -- This study explores the determinant factors affecting the revisit intention of heritage hotel consumers and understand the key attributes of a heritage hotel. Methodology/Design/Approach -- This paper involves systematic literature review (SLR) using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) protocol to answer the proposed research questions. Findings -- The findings indicate a growing trend of this theme in the last five years. In addition, six core attributes of heritage hotels were identified, including location, historic charm, experience, authenticity, ambience, and culture. This review paper also identified several variables, e.g., perceived authenticity, perceived experience, perceived value, brand image, and service quality, as the primary factors influencing the revisit intention of heritage hotel customers. Originality of the research -- The results of this study can contribute to the literature of hospitality and tourism literature by determining the key attributes of heritage hotels and the determinant factors affecting revisit intention of heritage hotels. This study also provides valuable insights for hotel managers and marketers to enhance consumer satisfaction and increase revisit rates, which in turn will drive business success in this niche market. This article presents a systematic review of the existing literature on business longevity by conducting a bibliometric analysis of 142 papers published in the leading business history and management journals during the last three decades. The results show similarities (e.g. in explanatory models) and differences (e.g. in citation patterns, theories, and methods) between the disciplines, thus indicating that the literature is partially segmented into separate domains that prevent business longevity research from representing a truly unified field of study. This paper presents a systematic review of the literature on ethnic minority entrepreneurship. A total of 174 articles converging on ethnic minority entrepreneurship, published between 2010 and 2020, were investigated. This paper extends existing knowledge of the subareas in ethnic minority entrepreneurship research by focusing on two different angles. Firstly, Citation analysis was performed to review research papers to recognize and classify the key areas of ethnic minority entrepreneurship currently being focused on and examined by the research community. Secondly, Thematic analysis was executed to discover the specific themes that are being researched. The study found seven different themes: immigrant studies, ethnic entrepreneurial motivations, ethnic startup process, motives of ethnic business success, failure factors of ethnic businesses, ethnic unique challenges, and favourite strong ties of ethnic minorities were identified as main themes. Every suit and the way someone dresses says a lot about that person. Today, business behavior and business attire are more important, because the behavior and appearance of managers and employees as a whole strongly influence the reputation and business success of each company. Also, one of the functions of clothing is to achieve a sense of spiritual balance. Clothing and fashion enable the multiplication of several personalities in one person. With the help of clothes, certain shortcomings of a person can be compensated and covered, and in that way, a certain spiritual and psychological balance is achieved. The social status of a person can be successfully shown through the dressing. This paper studies clothing as a type of communication and shows how one can communicate with clothing. Communication with clothes is effective when it is in accordance with the accompanying circumstances and the person wearing it. Fashion and clothing act as a way of communicating identity. The paper will also analyze fashion as a cultural phenomenon, but as a form of communication that provides an opportunity for an individual to get closer and identify with a person who dominates in a certain time and space. An enduring idea in economics and management sciences is that successful business strategies exploit complementarities across management practices within a firm. From this complementarity perspective, the success of business strategy requires utilizing a variety of interdependencies across management practices. Navigating large arrays of possible interdependencies implies that strategic decision-making is often conducted under high complexity and uncertainty. This paper provides an introduction to the conceptual foundations of complementarities in business strategy, and its implications for strategic decision-making and managerial learning. Against this backdrop, I outline issues of measurement and data collection for strategy practices, drawing on recent measurement efforts by academic researchers as well as national statistical agencies. The last part of the paper discusses how increased large-scale data collection on firm activity complementarities and strategy practices can inform a variety of policy areas, such as antitrust policy and merger review, industrial and innovation policy, tax policy, and public–private partnerships. Software investments can significantly contribute to corporate success by optimising productivity, stimulating creativity, elevating customer satisfaction, and equipping organisations with the essential resources to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing market. This paper examines whether software investments have an impact on the economic success of the companies listed on the Austrian Traded Prime market (ATX companies). A literature review and qualitative content analysis are performed to answer the research questions. For testing hypotheses, a longitudinal study is conducted. Over a ten-year period, the consolidated financial statements of the businesses under review are evaluated. A panel will assist with the data analysis. This study offers notable distinctions from other research that has investigated the correlation between digitalisation and economic success. In contrast to prior studies that relied on surveys to assess the level of digitalisation, this study obtained the required data by conducting a comprehensive examination of the annual reports of all the organisations included in the analysis. The regression analysis of all businesses revealed no correlation between software expenditures and economic success. The regression models were subsequently calculated independently for financial and non-financial companies. Research on university education and its role in developing personality traits essential to achieving success in entrepreneurship is required because of the significance of entrepreneurship for advancements in the economic, social, technological, and environmental spheres. Additionally, the value of a university education in shaping an individual's personality, and the necessity of emphasizing entrepreneurship in higher education for students to achieve real success, should be a priority in our society. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to explore how university education influences personality traits that are key to success in entrepreneurship in Spain. To achieve this objective, a qualitative methodology based on the study of 11 cases has been adopted. The results allow us to conclude that university education has a decisive influence on the development of the personality traits that integrally determine entrepreneurial success as the culmination of the final stage of the maturation process; however, a university education is not fundamental to the development of these traits. Nevertheless, entrepreneurs emphasized that the personality traits analyzed need to be reinforced explicitly in university education since they effectively positively impact the success of entrepreneurial initiatives. In 1973, Eleanor Sheldon became the first woman on the board of the organization that became Citicorp. A few years later she was also on the boards of Mobil Corporation and H.J. Heinz Company.2 She saw herself “as a beginning, not a token.” Despite this promising beginning, almost fifty years later, women are still often treated as tokens on a majority of boards. There have been several initiatives implemented in the last few years to help move beyond tokenism, however. Having women on boards means not only that more women are moving into positions of influence, but also, improved performance is likely for the organization. There are many studies indicating the advantages to businesses that include women on boards both economically and reputationally. In addition, representation of women on boards challenges existing stereotypes and inspires young girls to think bigger. In doing so, the perception of industries being gendered is undermined and women are entering fields which had previously been considered off limits. For example, the most notable of these off limits areas of employment are the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. Yet, although women have been increasing in their participation in these industries, their participation still represents only 27% of workers, despite making up nearly half the national workforce. Just as it is widely acknowledged that giving young girls role models in STEM fields is important in increasing female participation in the area, so too would the increased participation of women on corporate boards encourage young women in business to work towards these positions. The benefits of having women in positions of power also extends to political and social spheres. Many countries have recently sought to increase female representation either by putting forward more female candidates,12 or introducing gender balanced cabinets. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the appointment of a gender balanced ethnically diverse cabinet in 2015, and has continued to propel women to significant positions within the government in later terms. When asked to explain his plan for a gender balanced cabinet, he answered only “Because it’s 2015. Despite Trudeau’s belief that single gender dominated cabinets are outdated in the modern world, there is ample evidence suggesting that increased representation of women leads to more female representation in legislation which directly affects women, and results in more beneficial legislation involving children, families, and education. This importance is reflected in the number of countries that have introduced gender quotas to ensure the involvement of women in national governments. Although this reflects progress in the acknowledgment of the need for diversity in governments, the world is still far away from achieving gender balance in government. As of 2021, only five countries have parliaments with at least 50% women representatives, and in twenty-seven countries female representation is under ten percent. At the executive level, in 2021, women are even less well represented with only thirteen countries having a woman head of state, and fifteen countries having a woman as head of government. This paper analyzes various initiatives seeking to provide opportunities for women to join the ranks of those in positions of power and the likely benefits beyond those to the individuals involved. It also offers a way forward for firms interested in attaining gender equity in leadership. Part I begins with a discussion of various legislative initiatives to increase the representation of women on boards followed by efforts of a stock exchange, institutional investors, proxy advisory firms, private companies, as well as individuals. Part II addresses the benefits for women in the workforce from an increase of women in positions of power in government and considers the uneven effects of the pandemic on women in the workforce. Part III then analyzes mentoring as a means toward fostering equality in the workplace. In Part IV we provide a number of business success stories, followed with potential roadmap for organizations to provide pathways for women to rise to positions of leadership in Part V.
