Gradient Ni-SDC anode and anode-supported SDC electrolyte were produced by tape casting method with laminating and co-sintering process. The best co-sintering temperature of gradient Ni-SDC anode and SDC electrolyte was 1300°C for 3 h. The open porosity of gradient Ni-SDC anode sintered at 1300oC was 36%, which offered sufficient open porosity of more than 30%. By adjusting the composition of Ni in gradient anode, the thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) of Ni-SDC anode could be adjusted close to that of SDC electrolyte, which improve the compatibility of anode and electrolyte. The bending strength of gradient Ni-SDC anode was 134 MPa. The electrical conductivity of gradient Ni-SDC anode was better than that of non-gradient Ni-SDC anode at 650 - 800°C.

We conducted a clinical trial to analyze human serum containing carbamazepine by using the differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) method with a glassy carbon electrode, and compared it with the fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA). Thirty patients, who visited our hospital to have their serum carbamazepine level checked, were enrolled. Ten mL of venous blood was collected from each patient and analyzed by DPV and FPIA methods. The correlation between the carbamazepine concentrations determined by DPV and FPIA was good, with an RSQ of 0.998. The similarity of the results indicates that these two methods can be used interchangeably. The DPV method using a glassy carbon electrode may be a potential alternative method to determine the carbamazepine level in human serum. The mechanisms of densification during laser ignited reaction sintering of Ni-Al-Cu powder materials were studied. With the addition of Cu, densification of Ni-Al-Cu specimens made of big particles was realized under laser rapid ignition and sintering without signification change of the final products. Filling of the mixture of liquid and disintegrated small grains or particles was regarded as the dominant mechanism for the final densification.

Especially the establishment of construction survey control network and searching aiming at layout, measurement, data processing of adjustment calculation of the horizontal control network and the elevation control network. The most important part is the establishment of CP II and CPIII control network. The elevation control mainly adopts second order leveling. Horizontal and elevation accuracy must to meet the requirements of high speed railway construction survey.

Carbamazepine is a widely used anti-epileptic drug with narrow therapeutic range. Many methods have been developed for monitoring the serum drug level. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), an electrochemical method advantaged by simple, inexpensive, and relatively short analysis time, has recently been developed for carbamazepine detection. We used a newly developed DPV method with glassy carbon as a working electrode to determine the carbamazepine level. The performance of DPV is compared with the widely used fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA) technique in precision, accuracy, linearity and detection limit. The precision, linearity and accuracy of the DPV and FPIA techniques were comparable at most clinical used levels. The detection limit was 1 µg/mL for the DPV technique and 0.5 µg/mL for the FPIA technique. The performance of the DPV technique was within the FDA guidelines for bioanalytical methods, which ensures the clinical applicability of the DPV technique. The DPV technique may have the potential to be a good alternative for carbamazepine analysis. A coupled advanced regional prediction system--community multi-scale air quality IARPS-CMAQ) modeling system was applied to develop an abatement strategy for air pollutant emission in the Handan region of the northern China. The system was evaluated by comparing the simulated concentrations of particulate matter less than 10 µm ([PM.sub.10]) with the observed results in the study area during the four representative months in 2005, A process of planning emission abatement was applied by gradually reducing [PM.sub.10] emissions from the original GIS-based emission inventory until a modeling emission scenario was obtained under which the simulated [PM.sub.10] concentrations could satisfy the desired air quality objective. The air quality objective was represented by an air quality guideline satisfaction ratio of 80% to reach a daily [PM.sub.10] concentration of 150 µg/[m.sup.3] after the year 2010. The modeling system and results could provide sound basis for decision makers to develop an effective air quality management strategy. Key words: air quality.
