The façade of the Gothic cathedral of Tortosa was built in the 17th century according to the project by Martín Abaria, which was carried out between 1621-1625 and is preserved in the ACTo, and whose study has revealed the origins of its composition. The repositioning and redrawing of the trace allows the comparison with the façade executed through the data obtained from the Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) and whose 3:2 proportions are similar. The analysis of its scaling allows comparison with other Roman basilicas. The compositional basis of the lower body of the Abaria project is very similar to that of Santa Maria in Traspotina (1566-1587) in which Giovanni Vincenzo Casale was involved before becoming the engineer of the Escorial in 1589.
