A photorechargeable supercapacitor was constructed using vanadium pentoxide (V2O5), reduced graphene oxide hydrogel (rGH), and zinc trifluoromethanesulfonate (Zn(CF3SO3)2) as the photoanode, cathode, and electrolyte, respectively. The phase composition, microstructure, chemical structure, light absorption, and specific surface area of the synthesized products and the electrochemical performance of the rGH/V2O5 supercapacitor were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) method, and an electrochemical workstation, respectively. The results show that the device has a specific capacity of 164 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1 under illumination with 95 mW cm−2 light intensity, which is 20.5% higher than that under normal electrical charging. The supercapacitor has a 75% capacity retention rate and 100% coulombic efficiency, respectively, after 10 000 testing cycles under photoelectric synergistic charging and discharging. Most existing domain adaption methods solve the problem of data distribution similarity in single‐source to single‐target domain or multi‐source to single‐target domain adaption, but the more realistic multi‐source to multi‐target domain transfer scenarios are ignored. At the same time, less attention is paid to the similarity of task distribution among domains and the corresponding relationship between coarse‐grained and fine‐grained, which leads to the problem of low classification accuracy. In this paper, a multi‐source to multi‐target domain adaption (MSMTDA) method based on similarity measurement is proposed. Firstly, a cross‐domain similarity measurement mechanism based on the idea of data distribution similarity and task distribution similarity is set up to judge and optimize the distribution difference among source domains and target domains. Secondly, global‐local‐bidirectional alignment is used to solve the problem of poor transfer performance in the existing distributed alignment. Then, the cross‐domain mutual learning strategy is proposed, which reduces classifier discrepancy caused by decision boundaries and distribution difference in multiple domains. Finally, the proposed method is verified on three benchmark datasets in image classification. The cognitive dysfunction caused by prediabetes causes great difficulties in human life, and the terrible thing is that the means to prevent the occurrence of this disease are very limited at present, Berberine has shown the potential to treat diabetes and cognitive dysfunction, but it still needs to be further explored to clarify the mechanism of its therapeutic effect. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effects and mechanisms of Berberine on prediabetes‐induced cognitive dysfunction. Prediabetes rat model was induced by a high‐fat diet and a normal diet was used as a control. They were fed for 20 weeks. At week 13, the model rats were given 100 mg/kg Berberine by gavage for 7 weeks. The cognitive function of rats was observed. At the same time, OGTT, fasting blood glucose, blood lipids, insulin and other metabolic parameters, oxidative stress, and apoptosis levels were measured. The results showed that the model rats showed obvious glucose intolerance, elevated blood lipids, and insulin resistance, and the levels of oxidative stress and apoptosis were significantly increased. However, after the administration of Berberine, the blood glucose and lipid metabolism of prediabetic rats were significantly improved, and the oxidative stress level and apoptosis level of hippocampal tissue were significantly reduced. In conclusion, Berberine can alleviate the further development of diabetes in prediabetic rats, reduce oxidative stress and apoptosis in hippocampal tissue, and improve cognitive impairment in prediabetic rats. In the economically important red macroalga Pyropia, carbohydrates and proteins contents are usually used to evaluate the nutritional status and commercial value. As main component elements of carbohydrates and proteins, C, N and S contents can be the suitable indicators. However, efficient and nondestructive estimation of these elements have not been well established in macroalgae, which is definitely needed in high-throughput phenotyping and selective breeding. In the current study, hyperspectral imaging was used to estimate the C, N and S contents in thalli of Pyropia yesoensis. Based on spectral information acquired by two hyperspectral cameras with range of 400 nm to 1700 nm, two machine learning methods, partial least squares regression (PLSR) and support vector machine regression (SVR), were performed to establish prediction models following different preprocessing methods. The result showed that SVR model following Savitzky-Golay (S-G) smoothing preprocessing performed the best for N content with excellent accuracy (RTest2 = 0.94, RMSE = 0.331, MAPE = 5.47%, RPD = 3.44). Both of PLSR and SVR models could not yet meet satisfactory prediction for C and S content with RTest2 < 0.4 and RPD < 1.5. Further validation on field samples corroborated accuracy and robustness of the optimal estimation model for N. This study demonstrates that hyperspectral imaging is effective for estimating N contents of P.yesoensis thalli. It unveils the capability of hyperspectral imaging with machine learning models for estimating macroelement contents in macroalgae thalli, and offers a convenient, non-destructive, and effective method for the phenotyping and selective breeding of macroalgae. The slow charge transfer kinetics and water oxidation dynamics hinder the efficient photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting of BiVO 4. Here, Nd:BiVO 4 @NiCo-LDH photoanode was successfully prepared by introducing rare earth element Nd with a special 4 f energy level as a dopant and loading a bifunctional NiCo-LDH cocatalyst. The Nd:BiVO 4 @NiCo-LDH photoanode exhibits good PEC performance. The photocurrent density was 4.1 mA cm−2 at 1.23 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE), which is about 5.1 times more than that of the unmodified BiVO 4 electrode, and the onset potential was negatively shifted by 399 mV. Various physical characterizations and photoelectrochemical tests indicate that the Nd:BiVO 4 @NiCo-LDH photoanode has higher charge transfer rate and lower charge recombination rate than that of BiVO 4. The NiCo-LDH catalyst serves as a bimetallic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) cocatalyst, where Co cation has hole extraction ability to reduce carrier recombination, and Ni addition increases the active site. The synergistic effect of the two significantly boosts the PEC water oxidation activity of the photoanode. This work has broad prospects for the construction of high-performance water oxidation systems in various photoanodes. As food waste (FW) is a largely available and carbon-rich feedstock, bulk production of medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) via chain elongation (CE) from FW is of great interest to biotechnology. However, the development of this emerging biotechnology is limited by the high cost from external electron donor (ED) input. To solve this bottleneck, replacing external ED input with self-produced ED in the system is a key. Therefore, this study provided a novel anaerobic fermentation paradigm of inoculating yeast to internally generate ethanol from FW as ED for subsequent MCFAs production. Batch experimental results demonstrated that cumulative 1540 mg COD/L of MCFAs was produced from FW with endogenous ethanol when inoculating 4.50 × 107 cells/ml-FW Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the fermenter over 20 days. In contrast, only a very small amount of MCFAs were detected in the control (58.98 mg COD/L). In continuous operation over 61 days, around 1300 mg COD/L of MCFAs was steadily obtained in the long-term fermenter with yeast assisted, which was almost 1.49 times higher than that from the control. The enriching S. cerevisiae responsible for on-site ethanol generation and chain-elongating bacteria including Caproiciproducens and Oscillibacter jointly promoted FW-derived MCFAs productions. Higher abundance of genes encoding substrate degradation, ethanol biosynthesis and CE further ensured the higher MCFAs production in the yeast-assisted system. This biotechnology does not require major changes to the design and operation of existing anaerobic fermentation infrastructure. As our ongoing searching for the bioactive natural terpenoids, nine ent -kauranoids (1 – 9), including three previously undescribed ones (1 , 2 , and 9), were isolated from the aerial parts of Isodon amethystoides. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data analysis, including NMR, MS, and ECD. Compounds 1 and 2 were a pair of tautomeric compounds, which was confirmed by the HPLC analysis and low temperature NMR testing. The underlying mechanism of the tautomer was proposed as an intramolecular S N 2 reaction, which was explained by quantum chemical calculation. The HOMO-LUMO gap and the free energy revealed the spontaneous of the tautomeric of the 1 and 2. Additionally, the similar phenomena were also found in the two groups of known compounds 3 and 4 and 6 and 7 , respectively. Apart from the tautomer, compounds 3 and 4 can be hydrolyzed into 5 through ester hydrolysis in CDCl 3 , while compounds 6 , 7 can be hydrolyzed into 8 through ester hydrolysis. These phenomena were also confirmed through HPLC analysis and low temperature nuclear magnetic resonance tests and the mechanism was studied using quantum chemical calculation. • For the first time, LN CT radiomics model is developed to preoperatively detect LN+. • A combined radiomics model integrates features of ESCC and LN to detect LN+. • CT radiomics model of LN demonstrates good performance compared to the model of ESCC. • The combined model shows an excellent ability compared to models of LN and ESCC. To develop CT radiomics models of resectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and lymph node (LN) to preoperatively identify LN+. 299 consecutive patients with ESCC were enrolled in the study, 140 of whom were LN+ and 159 were LN-. Of the 299 patients, 249 (from the same hospital) were randomly divided into a training cohort (n = 174) and a test cohort (n = 75). The remaining 50 patients, from a second hospital, were assigned to an external validation cohort. In the training cohort, preoperative contrast-enhanced CT radiomics features of ESCC and LN were extracted, then integrated with clinical features to develop three models: ESCC, LN and combined. The performance of these models was assessed using area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), and F-1 score, which were validated in both the test cohort and external validation cohort. An ESCC model was developed for the training cohort utilizing the 8 tumor radiomics features, and an LN model was constructed using 9 nodal radiomics features. A combined model was constructed using both ESCC and LN extracted features, in addition to cT stage and LN+ distribution. This combined model had the highest predictive ability among the three models in the training cohort (AUC = 0.948, F1-score = 0.878). The predictive ability was validated in both the test and external validation cohorts (AUC = 0.885 and 0.867, F1-score = 0.816 and 0.773, respectively). This paper aims to investigate gap acceptance behavior during discretionary lane-changing maneuvers considering the heterogeneity among drivers and lane-changing urgency on a freeway segment from a microscopic perspective. It was found that there were statistically significant differences in gap acceptance behavior between changing lane to the left/right. The accelerated failure time(AFT) model, random parameter AFT model, and correlated random parameters with heterogeneity in means AFT model were established. The results show that the third model have the best goodness of fit. There is obvious mean heterogeneity in the gap acceptance models of different lane change directions, and the correlation between random parameters significantly affects the gap acceptance behavior. The urgency of lane change has a significant heterogeneous effect on the lagging gap acceptance behavior of lane-changing drivers and is significantly correlated with other random parameters. The retronasal aroma of Baijiu is closely related to its quality and consumer preference. Retronasal detection thresholds (RDTs) of 44 aroma compounds were determined in 46% v/v ethanol using a three‐alternative forced‐choice procedure, which varied widely and ranged from less than 0.02 to over 1,000,000 µg/L. Nineteen aroma compounds, including β‐phenylethanol, 2,3,5,6‐tetramethylpyrazine, dimethyl trisulfide, and 2‐methyl‐3‐(methyldisulfanyl)furan, had RDTs lower than their orthonasal detection thresholds. Power function curves were used to establish correlations between RDTs and partition coefficients for five esters and four pyrazines (R2 = 0.9575, 0.9969, respectively). Twenty‐nine aroma compounds had retronasal odor activity values >1 in a soy sauce aroma type Baijiu. Additionally, time‐intensity (TI) results suggested that hexanoic acid, ethyl hexanoate, isoamyl acetate, 3‐methyl‐butanal, and nonanal contributed to a "burst‐aroma" of Baijiu. Conversely, TI results attributed the "after‐odor" of Baijiu to dimethyl trisulfide, methional, 2,3,5,6‐tetramethylpyrazine, β‐phenylethanol, and other compounds. Practical Application: This manuscript provides comprehensive information on the retronasal sensory characteristics of aroma compounds in Baijiu. The results obtained may help understand the contribution of aroma compounds to retronasal aroma perception during Baijiu tasting and give helpful information to the Baijiu industry regarding quality control. In our research on naturally occurring sesquiterpenes, eight shizukaol-type dimers, one chlorahololide-type dimer, and one sarcanolide-type dimer were isolated from the roots of Chloranthus fortunei. As the project was implemented, we accidentally discovered that shizukaol-type dimers can be converted into peroxidized chlorahololide-type dimers. This potential change was discovered after simulations of the changes in corresponding shizukaols showed that three peroxide products were generated (1–3), indicating that peroxidation reactions occurred. HPLC-HR-MS analysis results obtained for the shizukaol derivatives further demonstrate that the reaction occurred, and the type of substituent of small organic ester moieties at positions C-15' and C-13' of unit B were not decisively related to the reaction. Quantum chemical calculations of the mode dimer further demonstrated this phenomenon. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO)–lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy of the precursor and production revealed the advantageous yield of 4β-hydroperoxyl production. Additionally, the potential reaction mechanism was speculated and validated using the free energy in the reaction which successfully explained the feasibility of the reaction. The quantum loss in phosphor-in-glass (PiG) and energy loss in LD/LED exciting source could aggravate the thermal load of a glass-based luminescence device. In this study, luminous efficiency of radiation (LER) and thermal shock in LuAG: Ce PiG-based remote LD/LED prototypes were regulated effectively, by controlling the exciting distance between PiG and blue LD/LED. For remote LD, both the simulated temperature and the real working temperature of LuAG: Ce-PiG were initially increased and then declined with increase of the exciting distance (the numerical difference: 9.3%). The maximum working temperature of LuAG: Ce-PiG was 135.1 °C. Remarkably, LER of LuAG: Ce-PiG was initially reduced and then elevated with increase of the exciting distance, and the obtained maximum LER was 203.97 lm/W. Meanwhile, increasing the working distance leads to the decrease of both LER and working temperature of the PiG based LED, since the excitation loss was negatively correlated to the exciting distance. Electrochemical catalysis emerges as a promising method for lignin depolymerization due to its environmental friendliness and mild reaction condition. Metal oxyhydroxides have displayed appealing electrochemical activity for the oxidation for various biomass substrates. In this study, we prepared different metal (Ni, Co, Mn, Fe, and Cu) oxyhydroxides on nickel foam electrodes through electrodeposition. Their electrochemical properties were characterized and the reactivity towards lignin oxidative cleavage was investigated using lignin model compounds. NiOOH exhibited significantly higher activity for oxidative cleavage of the β-O-4 linkage compared to other metal oxyhydroxides, resulting in a 93% yield of aromatic monomers with 99% selectivity towards benzoic acids. Furthermore, the reconstruction process of the active site NiOOH was revealed by in-situ testing, and the reaction mechanism was explored. The non-phenolic structure underwent Cβ–Cγ/Cβ–O or Cα–Cβ cleavage, predominantly producing benzoic acids, while the phenolic structure was rapidly oxidized into dicarboxylic acids over NiOOH. Summary Oil‐Camellia (Camellia oleifera), belonging to the Theaceae family Camellia, is an important woody edible oil tree species. The Camellia oil in its mature seed kernels, mainly consists of more than 90% unsaturated fatty acids, tea polyphenols, flavonoids, squalene and other active substances, which is one of the best quality edible vegetable oils in the world. However, genetic research and molecular breeding on oil‐Camellia are challenging due to its complex genetic background. Here, we successfully report a chromosome‐scale genome assembly for a hexaploid oil‐Camellia cultivar Changlin40. This assembly contains 8.80 Gb genomic sequences with scaffold N50 of 180.0 Mb and 45 pseudochromosomes comprising 15 homologous groups with three members each, which contain 135 868 genes with an average length of 3936 bp. Referring to the diploid genome, intragenomic and intergenomic comparisons of synteny indicate homologous chromosomal similarity and changes. Moreover, comparative and evolutionary analyses reveal three rounds of whole‐genome duplication (WGD) events, as well as the possible diversification of hexaploid Changlin40 with diploid occurred approximately 9.06 million years ago (MYA). Furthermore, through the combination of genomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics approaches, a complex regulatory network was constructed and allows to identify potential key structural genes (SAD, FAD2 and FAD3) and transcription factors (AP2 and C2H2) that regulate the metabolism of Camellia oil, especially for unsaturated fatty acids biosynthesis. Overall, the genomic resource generated from this study has great potential to accelerate the research for the molecular biology and genetic improvement of hexaploid oil‐Camellia, as well as to understand polyploid genome evolution. For the laser-driven lighting, traditional phosphor ceramics (PCs), such as Y 3 Al 5 O 12 : Ce3+ (YAG: Ce) PC and Lu 3 Al 5 O 12 : Ce3+ (LuAG: Ce) PC, usually show a wide "cyan cavity" due to the ultra-narrow emission bandwidth (∼2 nm) of the blue laser diode (LD). In this regard, the attainable color rendering (Ra) is always <90 even via the combination of "YAG: Ce/LuAG: Ce + CaAlSiN 3 :Eu2+". Evidently, the "cyan gap" is the bottleneck issue to attain high-color-quality laser-driven lighting. As such, we develop a novel cyan-green-emitting garnet-structured solid-solution Lu 3- x Sc x Al 2- y Sc y Al 3- z Sc z O 12 : Ce3+ (abbreviated as LuScAG: Ce) PCs, derived from the LuAG: Ce PC. A comparative study is conducted to unearth its microstructure, luminescence properties and promising availability. It can be found that the LuScAG: Ce PCs shows large full width at half maximum (FWHM) and abundant cyan emission. Upon material optimization, bright cyan-green emission can be generated with internal quantum efficiency (IQE) of 87.4 % and FWHM of 87.17 nm. Remarkably, this new material yields high-power emitting light with luminous flux (LF) of 3230 lm and luminous efficacy (LE) of 89.7 lm/W upon 36.0 W blue LD driven in rotatory excitation mode, which can serve as an efficient laser color converter. As expected, due to the achieved affluent cyan emissive components of developed LuScAG: Ce PCs, the lighting source based on "LuScAG: Ce PC + CASN: Eu phosphor-in-glass film (PiGF)" shows high color quality with Ra of 90.6 and R12 (related with the cyan cavity) of 85.0. In many systems, from brain neural networks to epidemic transmission networks, pairwise interactions are insufficient to express complex relationships. Nodes sometimes cooperate and form groups to increase their robustness to risks, and each such group can be considered a “supernode”. Furthermore, previous studies of cascading failures in interdependent networks have typically concentrated on node coupling connections; however, in many realistic scenarios, interactions occur between the edges connecting nodes rather than between the nodes themselves. Networks of this type are called edge-coupled interdependent networks. To better reflect complex networks in the real world, in this paper, we construct a theoretical model of a two-layer partially edge-coupled interdependent network with groups, where all nodes in the same group are functionally dependent on each other. We identify several types of phase transitions, namely, discontinuous, hybrid and continuous, which are determined by the strength of the dependency and the distribution of the supernodes. We first apply our developed mathematical framework to ErdsRnyi and scale-free partially edge-coupled interdependent networks with equally sized groups to analytically and numerically calculate the phase transition thresholds and the critical dependency strengths that distinguish different types of transitions. We then investigate the influence of the group size distribution on cascading failures by presenting examples of two different heterogeneous group size distributions. Our theoretical predictions and numerical findings are in close agreement, demonstrating that decreasing the dependency strength and increasing group size heterogeneity can increase the robustness of interdependent networks. Our results have significant implications for the design and optimization of network security and fill a knowledge gap in the robustness of partially edge-coupled interdependent networks with different group size distributions. Extensive microbial interactions occur within insect hosts. However, the interactions between the Huanglongbing (HLB) pathogen and endosymbiotic bacteria within the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama) in wild populations remain elusive. Thus, this study aimed to detect the infection rates of HLB in the ACP across five localities in China, with a widespread prevalence in Ruijin (RJ, 58%), Huidong (HD, 28%), and Lingui (LG, 15%) populations. Next, microbial communities of RJ and LG populations collected from citrus were analyzed via 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing. The results revealed a markedly higher microbial diversity in the RJ population compared to the LG population. Moreover, the PCoA analysis identified significant differences in microbial communities between the two populations. Considering that the inter-population differences of Bray–Curtis dissimilarity in the RJ population exceeded those between populations, separate analyses were performed. Our findings indicated an increased abundance of Enterobacteriaceae in individuals infected with HLB in both populations. Random forest analysis also identified Enterobacteriaceae as a crucial indicator of HLB infection. Furthermore, the phylogenetic analysis suggested a potential regulatory role of ASV4017 in Enterobacteriaceae for ACP, suggesting its possible attractant activity. Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is esteemed as a high-performance engineering polymer renowned for its exceptional mechanical properties and thermal stability. Nonetheless, the majority of polymer-based lubricating materials fail to meet the contemporary industrial demands for motion components regarding high speed, heavy loading, temperature resistance, and precise control. Utilizing 3D printing technology to design and fabricate intricately structured components, developing high-performance polymer self-lubricating materials becomes imperative to fulfill the stringent operational requirements of motion mechanisms. This study introduces a novel approach employing 3D printing technology to produce PEEK with varying filling densities and conducting in situ synthesis of zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-8) nanomaterials on its surface to enhance PEEK's frictional performance. The research discusses the synthetic methodology, characterization techniques, and tribological performance evaluation of in situ synthesized ZIF-8 nanomaterials on PEEK surfaces. The findings demonstrate a significant enhancement in frictional performance of the composite material under low-load conditions, achieving a minimum wear rate of 4.68 × 10−6 mm3/N·m compared to the non-grafted PEEK material's wear rate of 1.091 × 10−5 mm3/N·m, an approximately 1.3 times improvement. Detailed characterization and analysis of the worn surface of the steel ring unveil the lubrication mechanism of the ZIF-8 nanoparticles, thereby presenting new prospects for the diversified applications of PEEK. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the lower extremities is one of the most common peripheral vascular diseases, with significant complications and sequelae. Metabolomics aims to identify small molecules in biological samples. It can serve as a promising method for screening compounds that can be used for early disease detection, diagnosis, treatment response prediction, and prognosis. In addition, high-throughput metabolomics screening can yield significant insights into the pathophysiological pathways of DVT. Currently, the metabolomic profiles of DVT have yielded inconsistent expression patterns. Background: Photodynamic therapy (PDT) relies on the light activation of a photosensitizers to generate reactive oxygen species such as singlet oxygen, but its effect on cancer therapy is limited dramatically by hypoxia in the tumor microenvironment. Objectives: To determine the potential of a nano‐photosensitizer loaded salvianolic acid B (SalB) and 5‐aminolevulinic acid (ALA) for enhancing the efficacy of PDT in oral squamous cell carcinoma Cal27 cells and leukoplakia Leuk1 cells. Results: Singlet oxygen sensor green (SOSG) assay showed that nano‐SalB‐ALA generated higher levels of singlet oxygen, compared to nano‐SalB and nano‐ALA. Cellular uptake assay showed that nano‐SalB‐ALA effectively absorbed by Leuk1 cells. Importantly, cell counting kit‐8 and flow cytometry revealed that PDT with nano‐SalB‐ALA effectively inhibited the viability and induced the apoptosis of Cal27 and Leuk1 cells, respectively. Moreover, the tumor xenograft study revealed that PDT with nano‐SalB‐ALA had a stronger inhibitory effect on tumor growth of nude mice, compared to control groups. Conclusions: The novel photosensitizer nano‐SalB‐ALA remarkably enhanced the efficacy of PDT by improving singlet oxygen production, inhibiting cell proliferation, promoting cell apoptosis, and suppressing tumor growth. Soil microbial communities are engineers of important biogeochemical processes and play a critical role in regulating the functions and stability of forest ecosystem. However, few studies have assessed microbial interactions during forest conversion, which is essential to the understanding of the structure and function of soil microbiome. Herein, we investigated the co-occurrence network pattern and putative functions of fungal and bacterial communities in forest-transforming areas (five sites that cover the typical forests) using high-throughput sequencing of the ITS genes and 16S rRNA. Our study showed that the bacterial network had higher average connectivity and more links than fungal network, which might indicate that the bacterial community had more complex internal interactions compared with fungal one. Alphaproteobacteria_unclassfied, Telmatobacter, 0319-6A21 and Latescibacteria_unclassfied were the keystone taxa in bacterial network. For the fungal community network, the keystone taxon was Ceratobasidium. A structural equation model indicated that the available potassium and total organic carbon were important soil environmental factors, which affected all microbial modules, including bacterial and fungi. Total nitrogen had significant effects on the bacterial module that contains a relatively rich group of nitrogen cycling functions, and pH influenced the bacterial module which have higher potential functions of carbon cycling. And, more fungal modules were directly affected by forest structure (S Tree) compared with bacterial ones. This study provides new insights into our understanding of the feedback of underground creatures to forest conversion and highlights the importance of microbial modules in the nutrient cycling process. Background: Musculoskeletal disorders after childbirth are common, but current studies often have a narrow focus, concentrating on particular areas and neglecting a thorough evaluation of pain locations and overall severity. This research aimed to determine the occurrence, spread, severity, and root causes of musculoskeletal discomfort in females during the 6–8 week period after giving birth, focusing on investigating the link between pain and posture. Methods: This study collected data from 432 postpartum women, 6–8 weeks post-delivery, focusing on ten posture angles captured photographically and analysed using Exbody software. Participants also filled out structured questionnaires on pregnancy history, the Short Form McGill Pain Questionnaire (SF-MPQ) scores, physical activity patterns, and involvement in household and neonatal care tasks. Results: In our research, 49.8% of the respondents experienced pain after childbirth in different regions of their bodies. Utilising SF-MPQ, the mean Pain Rating Index was 7.35 (SD = 5.93) and Present Pain Intensity and Visual Analog Scale was 3.13 (SD = 2.09). Among the evaluated postural angles, only the Q-angle exhibited a noteworthy correlation with knee discomfort. Individuals with less involvement in household and newborn care tasks had a significantly lower occurrence of postpartum pain, with a decrease of 76% (OR = 0.243, p = 0.001). Similarly, those who shared these responsibilities had a 53% decreased likelihood (OR = 0.468, p = 0.008) of experiencing postpartum pain. Conclusion: Many postpartum women experience moderate-intensity pain in various body regions. Pain's correlation with posture was limited. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) face the formidable challenge of large-scale missing data, particularly in the imputation of traffic data. Existing studies have mainly relied on modeling network-level spatiotemporal correlations to address this issue. However, these methods often overlook the rich semantic information (e.g., road infrastructure, sensor location, etc.) inherent in road networks when capturing network-wide spatiotemporal correlations. We address this limitation by presenting the Graph Transformer-based Traffic Data Imputation (GT-TDI) model, which imputes missing values in extensive traffic data by leveraging spatiotemporal semantic understanding of road networks. The proposed model leverages semantic descriptions that capture the spatial and temporal dynamics of traffic across road networks, enhancing its capacity to infer comprehensive spatiotemporal relationships. Moreover, to augment the model's capabilities, we employ a Large Language Model (LLM) and prompt engineering to enable natural and intuitive interactions with the traffic data imputation system, allowing users to query and request in plain language, without requiring expert knowledge or complex mathematical models. The proposed model, GT-TDI, utilizes Graph Neural Networks (GNN) and Transformer architectures to perform large-scale traffic data imputation using deficient observations, sensor social connectivity, and semantic descriptions as inputs. We evaluate the GT-TDI model on the PeMS freeway dataset and benchmark it against cutting-edge models. Background Transcriptome-wide association studies have been successful in identifying candidate susceptibility genes for colorectal cancer (CRC). To strengthen susceptibility gene discovery, we conducted a large transcriptome-wide association study and an alternative splicing transcriptome-wide association study in CRC using improved genetic prediction models and performed in-depth functional investigations. Methods We analyzed RNA-sequencing data from normal colon tissues and genotype data from 423 European descendants to build genetic prediction models of gene expression and alternative splicing and evaluated model performance using independent RNA-sequencing data from normal colon tissues of the Genotype-Tissue Expression Project. We applied the verified models to genome-wide association studies (GWAS) summary statistics among 58 131 CRC cases and 67 347 controls of European ancestry to evaluate associations of genetically predicted gene expression and alternative splicing with CRC risk. We performed in vitro functional assays for 3 selected genes in multiple CRC cell lines. Results We identified 57 putative CRC susceptibility genes, which included the 48 genes from transcriptome-wide association studies and 15 genes from splicing transcriptome-wide association studies, at a Bonferroni-corrected P  value less than  .05. Of these, 16 genes were not previously implicated in CRC susceptibility, including a gene PDE7B (6q23.3) at locus previously not reported by CRC GWAS. Gene knockdown experiments confirmed the oncogenic roles for 2 unreported genes, TRPS1 and METRNL , and a recently reported gene, C14orf166. Both the incidence of lung cancer and the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS) have been increasing worldwide. The relationship between MetS and lung cancer remains controversial. What is the risk of lung cancer associated with MetS and its components? Multivariable Cox regression models were used to estimate the hazard ratio (HR) of MetS-related variables on lung cancer risk, both overall and by histologic subtype, in the UK Biobank. Stratified analyses were conducted by sex, tobacco use status, and use of medication. HR curves were used to test the nonlinear associations between the metabolic markers and the risk of lung cancer. Of the 331,877 participants included in this study, a total of 77,173 participants had a diagnosis of MetS at enrollment. During a median follow-up of 10.9 years, lung cancer as the primary site developed in 2,425 participants. The HRs of MetS were 1.21 (95% CI, 1.09-1.33), 1.28 (95% CI, 1.10-1.50), and 1.16 (95% CI, 0.94-1.44) for the overall risk of lung cancer, adenocarcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma, respectively. The HRs increased with the number of metabolic abnormalities from 1.11 to approximately 1.4 or 1.5 for those with one to five disorders. Positive association with lung cancer was observed for low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), elevated waist circumference, and hyperglycemia. The relationship between MetS and lung cancer was modified by sex, with a stronger effect in female patients (P =. 031). The risk of lung cancer resulting from MetS was elevated mainly among individuals who used tobacco, although the modification effect of tobacco use was not statistically significant. A nonlinear association was found between lung cancer and HDL-C, waist circumference, and glycated hemoglobin. The increased risk of lung cancer associated with MetS suggests the importance of taking metabolic status and markers into consideration for the primary prevention of lung cancer and the selection of high-risk populations for lung cancer screening. Development of the portable device is significant for sensitive and rapid detection of an anthrax biomarker dipicolinic acid (DPA), existing in the B. anthracis. In this work, a novel HAp:Tb-EDTA paper-based ratiometric fluorescent sensor was obtained by a simple one-pot method for rapid and sensitive DPA detection. With the increased DPA concentration, the luminescence intensity of HAp (hydroxyapatite) remained constant, and thus applied as the stable reference signal, while the luminescence signal of Tb3+-EDTA was significantly enhanced due to the antenna effect. Therefore, the HAp:Tb-EDTA paper-based sensor was endowed with self-calibrated and ratiometric fluorescent detection performance for DPA. The proposed sensor showed excellent detection performance with a detection limit as low as 10.8 nM in the linear range of 0.5–30 μM. After combination with a smartphone, rapid visual and fluorescent detection of DPA was achieved. The proposed sensor was successfully applied to detect DPA from B. subtilis spore real samples, showing the application prospects of the paper-based sensors and opening a new horizon to develop novel paper-based point-of-care testing (POCT) devices. Microtubules are recognized as one of the most vital and attractive targets in anticancer therapy. The development of novel tubulin-targeting agents with a new action mechanism is imperative. Based on the hydrophobic tagging strategy, the molecular scaffold of tirbanibulin was selected as tubulin target-binding moiety, subsequent to which a series of target compounds were rationally designed by selecting various combinations of linkers and hydrophobic tags. A set of novel molecules were synthesized and most of them exhibited potent antiproliferative activity against tumor cells in vitro. The most active compound 14b inhibited polymerization of purified recombinant tubulin and induced degradation of α- and β-tubulin in MCF-7 cells. Notably, following treatment with compound 14b , an unexpected phenomenon of "microtubules fragmentation" was observed via immunofluorescence staining. Furthermore, compound 14b possessed antitumor activity in the 4T1 allograft models with TGI of 74.27 % without significant toxicity. Lidar has the capability to measure seawater vertical optical properties efficiently both day-time and night-time, though accurate retrieval is still challenging due to multiple scattering. Herein, we propose a Multiple scAttering correcTion and rEtrieval (MATE) algorithm suitable for shipborne, airborne and spaceborne lidars. The MATE algorithm provides the synchronous depth-resolved absorption, backscattering and diffuse attenuation coefficients of seawater. A good consistency was obtained between retrieved results and the in situ data with a root mean square relative difference (RSMRD) of 6.36% for diffuse attenuation coefficient, corresponding to an improvement of 2 times over methods that neglect multiple scattering. These results indicate that the MATE algorithm has valuable application potential in the quantitative evaluation of marine biological parameters. • A novel algorithm is developed to retrieve seawater optical properties. • Influence of multiple scattering on lidar signal attenuation can be removed. • The data retrieved by the algorithm shows good agreement with the in situ data. • Features of the algorithm are in favor of space-, air- and ship-based missions. • One potential application of the algorithm is phytoplankton detection. Despite the availability of different treatment modalities, there is limited comparative research on their effectiveness. This study compares radiofrequency (RF) therapy and myofascial manual therapy (MMT) in treating MFPP. We aimed to evaluate pelvic floor muscle strength changes, clinical symptoms, and patient comfort during treatment.The study involved 176 participants, divided equally into RF and MMT groups. We assessed pelvic floor pain using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), muscle strength using the Modified Oxford Scale (MOS) and surface electromyography (sEMG), clinical symptom improvement through questionnaires, and patient discomfort during treatment.Both RF and MMT groups significantly reduced pelvic floor and paraurethral muscle pain (VAS scores, p < 0.001). RF treatment significantly decreased vaginal laxity in its group (p < 0.001), with no notable change in the MMT group (p = 0.818). RF therapy also resulted in greater patient comfort than MMT (p < 0.001). Although both treatments improved clinical symptoms, there was no significant difference between the two (p = 0.692). MOS scores and pelvic floor sEMG values showed no significant differences between the groups before and after treatment (p > 0.05).Both RF and MMT effectively alleviate pelvic floor pain and improve clinical symptoms in MFPP patients. Rubber plantations are an important component of tropical forest ecosystems and are emerging as crucial contributors to carbon sequestration in the tropics. However, ecosystem respiration (RECO), which constitutes an essential constraint on the carbon fixation capacity of rubber plantations, and its driving mechanisms remains unclear. Therefore, this study developed a data-driven semi-empirical model to simulate rubber plantations RECO utilising eddy covariance flux measurements and was upscaled to Hainan Island using remote sensing images and climatic data. Numerical simulations experiments analysed direct and indirect of climatic factors impacts on rubber plantations RECO. The results showed that the model accurately captured RECO trends and seasonality (R2 = 0.87, RMSE = 1.27 g C m−2 d−1); in the past 19 years, RECO showed a noticeable increase, particularly in the late rainy season and the seasonality of RECO has shown a delayed pattern. The RECO in the central region (52% area) exhibited multimodal enhancement while northern and southern regions (37% area) showed oscillations or decreases. Temporally, RECO is higher in the rainy season compared to the dry season, and spatially, RECO is higher in the southern region than in the northern region. Among the climatic factors, water conditions (rainfall and air humidity) have been emerged as dominant factors (5.38%) influencing RECO, surpassing temperature (3.96%) and radiation (3.81%). In addition, climatic factors make a positive overall contribution during the dry season but perform oppositely in the rainy season. The fundamental concept behind option-based hierarchical reinforcement learning (O-HRL) is to obtain temporal coarse-grained actions and abstract complex situations. Although O-HRL is intended for sparse rewards, it remains difficult to extend it to sparse reward problems in continuous spaces. In this paper, we provide a fresh perspective on option technology to comprehend different options based on knowledge representation. The hierarchical reinforcement learning with the unlimited option scheduling (UOS) algorithm is proposed. Unlike conventional O-HRL algorithms that apply a limited set of options with specific meanings, UOS encourages an infinite number of options to correlate with trajectories while maintaining a correlation with each other, thus representing more abundant knowledge. These unlimited options can guide infinite and diverse trajectories to cover fine-grained state spaces. Further, a composite scheduling mode is proposed to generate arbitrary-length trajectories with intrinsic characteristics, providing both flexibility and concentration for unlimited options. It significantly improves the performance and robustness of UOS. Finally, a new comprehensive experimental system is developed, and the experimental results demonstrate the notable success of UOS on sparse reward tasks in continuous spaces. Eight undescribed (1 – 8) and 46 known compounds (9 – 54) were isolated from the deep-sea-derived Aspergillus sp. MCCC 3A00392. Compounds 1 – 3 were three novel oxoindolo diterpenoids, 4 – 6 were three bisabolane sesquiterpenoids, while 7 and 8 were two monocyclic cyclopropanes. Their structures were established by exhaustive analyses of the HRESIMS, NMR, and theoretical calculations of the NMR data and ECD spectra. Compounds 10 , 33 , 38 , and 39 were able to inhibit tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-induced necroptosis in murine L929 cell lines. Functional experiments verified that compounds 10 and 39 inhibited necroptosis by downregulating the phosphorylation of RIPK3 and MLKL. Moreover, compound 39 also reduced the phosphorylation of RIPK1. Compounds 10 , 33 , and 34 displayed potent inhibitory activities against RSL-3 induced ferroptosis with the EC 50 value of 3.0 μM, 0.4 μM, and 0.1 μM, respectively. Compound 10 inhibited ferroptosis by the downregulation of HMOX1, while compounds 33 and 34 inhibited ferroptosis through regulation of NRF2/SLC7A11/GCLM axis. However, these compounds only showed weak effect in either the necroptosis or ferroptosis relative mouse disease models. Antifogging coatings with superhydrophilic performance by manipulating composition and structure have obtained significant consideration over recent years attributed to their ability to readily form a thin water film, which does not deteriorate light transmission. In this work, an advanced organic-inorganic nonhomogeneous antifogging coating has been successfully fabricated. The bottom layer was comprised of silica nanoparticles, forming the three-dimensional (3D) network skeleton via the condensation of silicon hydroxyl, which enhanced the water resistance ability of the coating; while the top layer was formed by silica-polymer nanocomposite, which conferred the coating good antifogging capability due to its abundant hydrophilic groups. The composite coating exhibited size-dependent surface properties, when the average particle size of silica was 10 nm, the nanocomposite coating exhibited remarkable antifogging and frost-resisting properties. Furthermore, the composite coating also showed higher stability than the pure polymer coating, and it remained outstanding antifogging performance after soaking in water for 6 h, or 180 h of exposure to UV irritation. Natural restoration offers a positive strategy for maintaining biodiversity and addressing climate change. Wetland is an important "carbon sink", yet the dynamic of soil organic carbon (SOC) storage and how it is driven by microbial communities and activities remain unclear during natural restoration. In this work, we investigated the variations of soil organic carbon (SOC) storage, bacterial and fungal communities, as well as microbial activities (including microbial biomass carbon, carbon mineralization rate and extracellular enzymes) in naturally restored wetlands with restoration years of 0 (rice field reclaimed from natural wetland), 15, 20 and 40 in the Poyang Lake wetland. Results showed that SOC storage had been restored to its natural level after 20 years of natural rejuvenation, which was driven by microbial communities via impacting oxidase (peroxidase), microbial biomass and microbial quotient. Fungal diversity and community composition had strong positive effects on SOC storage, while the role of bacteria was limited, emphasizing that fungi exerted a more important control over carbon stock during natural restoration. Fungal taxa Sordariomycetes and Eurotiomycetes were the dominant microbial predictors of SOC storage. Besides, natural restoration significantly shifted bacteria and fungi communities, as well as microbial activities toward a pattern similar to that of natural wetlands. To sum up, our results highlight the significance of natural restoration for recovering carbon storage, and the addition of microbial attributes can potentially improve our capacity to predict changes in SOC storage in wetland ecosystems. • Soil organic carbon storage recovered after 20 years of natural restoration. • Microbial functional changes were driving force of wetland carbon stock. • Fungal community exerted more important control over SOC storage than bacteria. • Restoration shifted microbial communities and functions toward natural wetlands. Insulator hydroxyapatite (HAp) was chosen as a candidate to construct full-spectrum photocatalyst. Glucose as a functional precursor was incorporated into HAp by coprecipitated method, and the glucose-modified HAp was then calcined under nitrogen atmosphere. With the loss of OH- group in HAp and the decomposition of glucose during the calcination, oxygen vacancies (OVs) for regulating the band gap, graphitic carbon (GC) as a good electron acceptor, and a channel for rapid carrier separation via the C-O-Ca forming between OV-HAp and GC can be simultaneously achieved. The as-prepared OV-HAp/GC displayed full-spectrum response and rapid separation of carriers. Moreover, it showed high degradation performance for 2, 4-dichlorophenol (2, 4-DCP), phenol, and tetracycline under visible, NIR, and full-spectrum. This strategy is not only facile, but also exhibits a certain universality. This work opens a new window for full-spectrum photocatalysts construction based on insulators, and large-scale production for practical use can be expected.
