Good quality power is the guarantee of normal operation of power equipment. This paper introduces a real-time electric energy detection system based on LabVIEW. On the premise of using LabVIEW to analyze, a virtual instrument detection device for signal processing and data analysis is designed. The voltage and current parameters collected in realtime can be accurately displayed by a special module. The purpose of this operation is to learn characteristics of the filters for the signals with using LabVIEW and to determine which filter gives the best result, depending on the desired goal. In this paper we will consider four filter presented in the form of so-called virtual instruments (VI): Butterworth, Chebyshev I and II, and elliptic filter. The development of a computerized acoustical characterization system of medical phantoms is described in this paper. The system employs the insertion technique and it was developed using LabView 2011 where the ultrasound signal was acquired through the interfacing scheme of an oscilloscope to a personal computer. The system performance was validated by comparing measured acoustical properties with values obtained from the previous studies. Other than faster measurement time, the developed system carried percentage difference at less than 1.00% for all of the acoustical properties measurements at 23.0°C to 25.0°C respectively. A remote laboratory should meet the students' pedagogical needs, and should be accessible anytime and anywhere. This work briefly describes a remote laboratory directed to biomedical engineering education, developed using LabVIEW software. The most apparent limitationin the use of LabVIEW is the inability to access from some technological platforms. Therefore, the present paper provides an overview of the workin progress and new developments, in a new remote laboratory, using an independent platform programming language - Java. Measurement of signals from sensors is the main source of information on the current status of individual parts of machinery and devices. Based on the read information, it is possible to diagnose, control and determination of the size measured impacts, affecting on the object. Construction systems where there are significant distances between the measuring points using traditional methods is difficult, sometimes impossible. The article presents a system for wireless transmission of measurement signals using microcontrollers Aruino UNO and Arduino MICRO, radio transmitter module FS100A, receiver 433 MHz and application in the LabVIEW. Microcontroller Arduino MICRO read a data from analog sensor, and change to the digital value. Information in the form of text is sent via the FS100A transmitter. Arduino UNO receives information and then, via the RS 232 communication line, it is sent to application in the LabVIEW. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
