In the recent times, Nanoparticles (NPs) have been a major source of innovation and research activities for sustainable drug delivery. Nanoparticles can favourably cumulate at areas of activity and helps to better the therapeutic-index of large number of drugs and medicines. The current and innovative amalgamation of biological substances and nanomaterials has provided us with new functions of nanoparticles with the help of camouflaging with the cellular-membranes. Talking specifically cell membrane camouflaged nanoparticles are an innovative biomimetic platform comprising core of nanoparticles and membrane shell. These camouflaged nanoparticles possess the ability to mimic the special functionalities of the membrane, such as enhanced blood regulation, having better internalization and active drug targeting. In this review, the focus is on the latest developments of biological cell membrane camouflaged nanoparticles, applications of cell-membrane coating for sustainable drug delivery and discussion about its future prospects in the upcoming times. Due to their potential utility in applications such as electrical, thermal, optical, and immobilising host materials in nuclear waste, perovskite-type ceramic materials have been extensively investigated. In present work, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV–vis absorption spectroscopy studies were used to investigate Barium Zirconate perovskite BaZrO3 nano-particles synthesized by pure-combustion technique and sintered at 1200° C for 12 hours. X-ray powder diffraction investigation confirmed the perovskite structure and phase composition of BaZrO3 NPs (XRD). BaZrO3 diffraction peaks correspond to a cubic perovskite structure with space group Pm3m (221). The Williamson-Hall plot estimates the crystallite size. The SEM image depicts the surface morphology of BaZrO3 nanoparticles and illustrates that the particles' sizes vary by a few nanometers with no apparent shape. Modification in dispersion characteristics of space charge wave in a semiconductor plasma medium due to presence of nanoparticle cluster has been reported. This study has been conducted using classical hydrodynamic model of infinite plasma. The obtained dispersion relation has been analyzed to study convective nature of two possible propagating space charge modes. This study resulted in a strong modification in dispersion characteristics of space charge wave in an n-type semiconductor plasma medium embedded with a nanoparticle cluster/assembly. This modification is through a non-dimensional parameter ‘l’; characteristic of nanoparticle cluster, which is a function of nanoparticle density N and radius r. Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nano particles were prepared by using the sol-gel technique. The materials used for the synthesis were Zinc Acetate Dihydrate (Zn(CH3COO)2.2H2O) and SDS (sodium dodecyl sulphate) (C12H25NaO4S). Ethanol was used as solvent. The obtained nano powder was characterized using X-ray diffraction, Uv-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, FESEM, EDAX and ESR. The absorbance and band gap were analyzed by using Uv-Vis spectroscopy. Electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra study was analyzed at room temperature. ZnO have the properties like high thermal conductivity, binding energy, high refractive index and have the applications in materials and products like solar cells, medicine, cosmetics. In this paper we have studied the size dependence effective band gap of GaSb nano-solids. The band gap is one of the most significant electronic parameter of semiconductor materials. The band gap of semiconductor depends on the temperature, pressure, composition, number of atoms as well as size of the solid. When semiconductor solids are prepared in the form of nano-metric level, their small particle size gives rise to quantum confinement and the energy bands are split into discrete levels. It is found that the effective band gap decreases with increasing of the size (diameter) of GaSb nano-solid. Another conclusion is that the energy band gap of semiconductor tends to decrease with increasing temperature and hence atomic vibration increases. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
