Resumo Com base em dados quantitativos, entrevistas e referências dos estudos de gênero, ciência e tecnologia, e da sociologia da educação e do trabalho, o texto aborda a raridade de mulheres como alunas e professoras no curso de Engenharia Mecânica em uma instituição de educação superior nordestina. Seis alunas que ingressaram no curso em 2012 são acompanhadas até o presente. A aná- lise sobre suas trajetórias, obstáculos enfrentados e perspectivas pessoais e profissionais ilustra como o filtro de gênero atua na área de Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia e Matemática, e indica os desafios da inclusão da perspectiva de gênero para o alcance da paridade de sexo na educação superior e no mercado de trabalho. Resumen A partir de datos cuantitativos, entrevistas y referencias de los estudios de género, ciencia y tecnología, y de la sociología de la educación y del trabajo, el texto aborda la escasez de mujeres como estudiantes y profesoras en la carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica en una institución de educación superior en el Noreste de Brasil. Se realiza un seguimiento actualizado de seis alumnas y graduadas, que se incorporaron a la carrera en 2012. El análisis de sus trayectorias, obstáculos enfrentados, y perspectivas personales y profesionales ilustra cómo funciona el filtro de género en el área de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas, indicando los desafíos de incluir la perspectiva de género para lograr la paridad de género en la educación superior y en el mercado del trabajo. Resumé A l’appui de données quantitatives, d’entretiens et des études de genre, sciences et technologies et de la sociologie de l’éducation et du travail, ce texte aborde la rareté des femmes étudiantes et enseignantes dans les licences de Génie Mécanique d’un établissement d’enseignement supérieur au Nord-Est du Brésil. Six étudiantes qui ont accedé au cours en 2012 ont été suivies jusqu’à présent. L’analyse de leurs trajectoires, des obstacles rencontrés et des perspectives personnelles et professionnelles illustre la mise en place du filtre de genre dans le domaine des Sciences, de la Technologie, de l’Ingénierie et des Mathématiques, indiquant les défis posés à l’obtention de la parité des sexes dans l’enseignement supérieur et dans le marché du travail. Abstract Based on quantitative data, interviews and literature on gender, science & technology, and the sociology of education and work, the text addresses the shortage of women as students and professors in the Mechanical Engineering program at a higher education institution in Northeastern Brazil. Six female students who entered the program in 2012 are monitored, up to the present. The analysis of their trajectories, obstacles, and personal and professional perspectives illustrates how the gender filter operates in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. It indicates the challenges of including a gender perspective to achieve gender parity in higher education and the labor market.

Resumo O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar possíveis impactos, sobre o universo laboral dos docentes que atuam no ensino superior privado brasileiro, da mais recente reforma trabalhista e de medidas específicas da categoria, como o avanço da educação a distância (EaD). A Lei n. 13.467/2017 foi aprovada no governo de Michel Temer, sob a justificativa de gerar “segurança jurídica” e modernizar as relações trabalhistas. Nesse sentido, pretende-se analisar a movimentação de professores nas bases compostas por registros administrativos do Ministério da Economia, a fim de averiguar se, para além da notícia de casos particulares, a categoria como um todo já experimenta alterações sensíveis em seus níveis de emprego, no volume de demissões e admissões, e se há introdução de dispositivos próprios da Reforma Trabalhista. Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo es investigar los posibles impactos en el universo laboral de los docentes que trabajan en la educación superior privada brasileña, la reforma laboral más reciente y las medidas específicas de la categoría, como el avance de la educación a distancia (EaD). La Lei n. 13.467/2017 fue aprobada en el gobierno de Michel Temer, con el argumento de generar “seguridad jurídica” y modernizar las relaciones laborales. En este sentido, se pretende analizar el movimiento de docentes en las bases compuestas por registros administrativos del Ministerio de Economía, con el fin de verificar si, además de las noticias de casos particulares, la categoría en su conjunto ya experimenta cambios sensibles en sus niveles de empleo, en el volumen de despidos y admisiones, y si hay introducción de dispositivos propios de la Reforma Laboral. Résumé Cet article cherche à évaluer les impacts que la réforme du travail la plus récente ainsi que certaines mesures spécifiques, telles que l’essor de l’enseignement à distance (EaD), ont pu avoir sur le travail des enseignants de l’enseignement supérieur privé au Brésil. La loi n. 13.467/2017 a été approuvée par le gouvernement de Michel Temer, sous la justification qu’elle contribuerait à une “sécurité juridique” et à moderniser les relations de travail. Ce que l’on propose donc ici est d’analyser les mouvements des enseignants à partir de données provenant des registres administratifs du Ministère de l’Economie, afin de vérifier si, au-delà des cas particuliers relevés, l’ensemble de la catégorie subit déjà des changements sensibles concernant ses niveaux d’emploi, le volume de licenciements et d’admissions, et si des dispositifs propres à la Réforme du Travail ont été introduits. Abstract The purpose of this paper is to investigate the potential impacts of the latest Labor Reform and specific measures taken by the sector, such as the progress in Distance Learning (EaD), on the labor universe of professors acting in private higher education in Brazil. Law n. 13,467/2017 was passed by the Temer Administration on the grounds of creating “legal certainty” and modernizing labor relations. In this regard, we intend to analyze the turnover of professors in the databases composed of administrative records of the Ministry of Economy in order to verify whether, beyond the news of specific cases, the sector as a whole is already experiencing noticeable changes in their employment levels, in the volume of dismissals and hiring, and whether specific provisions of the Labor Reform are already been complied with.

Resumo Esta pesquisa objetiva fornecer insumos para o processo de monitoramento e avaliação da Lei de Cotas (Lei n. 12.711/2012), por meio da investigação das alterações no perfil socioeconômico e racial do corpo discente das instituições federais de educação superior (Ifes) de 2012 a 2016. Para tanto, desenvolvemos uma análise exploratória do perfil dos ingressantes dos cursos presenciais de graduação das Ifes com base no cruzamento de dados do Censo da Educação Superior (2012--2016) e do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (2011-2015). Nossos resultados sugerem que a Lei de Cotas tem apresentado resultados inclusivos sobre a maioria das Ifes no Brasil (com efeitos contraditórios em algumas), em especial entre os ingressantes provenientes da rede pública e os autodeclarados pretos, pardos e indígenas. Abstract This study aims to provide input for the process of monitoring and evaluating the Lei de Cotas [Quota Law] (Law No. 12.711/2012) by investigating changes in the socioeconomic and racial profiles of the student body of federal higher education institutions (Ifes) from 2012 to 2016. To do so, we developed an exploratory analysis of the profile of incoming students, enrolled in undergraduate courses in Ifes, based on data from the Higher Education Census (2012-2016) and the Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio [National High School Exam] (2011-2015). Our results suggest that the Lei de Cotas has produced inclusive results on most of the Ifes in Brazil (with contradictory effects on some), especially among newcomers from the public network system and the self-declared black, pardo and indigenous peoples. Résumé Cette recherche vise à contribuer au suivi et au processus d’évaluation de la Lei de Cotas [Loi des Quotas] (Loi n o 12.711/2012), par moyen d´une étude sur les changements intervenus dans le profil socioéconomique et racial de la population étudiante des institutions fédérales d’enseignement supérieur (Ifes), entre 2012 et 2016. Nous avons à cette fin réalisé une analyse exploratoire du profil des étudiants accedant au premier cycle, appuyée sur le croisement des données du Recensement de l’Enseignement Supérieur (2012-2016) et de l’ENEM, Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio [Examen National de Conclusion des Études Secondaires] (2011-2015). Nos résultats indiquent que la Lei de Cotas a favorisé l’inclusion dans la plupart des Ifes au Brésil avec, (malgré des effets contradictoires dans certaines d’entre elles), notamment en ce qui concerne les étudiants issus des établissements publics et les autodénominés noirs, métis et indigènes. Resumen Este estudio tiene como objetivo proporcionar insumos para el proceso de monitoreo y evaluación de la Lei de Cotas [Ley de Cuotas] (Ley nº 12.711/2012), a través de la investigación de los cambios en el perfil socioeconómico y racial del alumnado de las instituciones federales de educación superior (Ifes) de 2012 a 2016. Para ello, desarrollamos un análisis exploratorio del perfil de los ingresantes de los cursos presenciales de graduación de las Ifes con base en el cruce de datos del Censo de la Educación Superior (2012-2016) y del Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio [Examen Nacional de la Enseñanza Media] (2011-2015). Nuestros resultados sugieren que la Lei de Cotas ha presentado resultados inclusivos sobre la mayoría de las Ifes en Brasil (con efectos contradictorios en algunas), en especial entre los ingresantes provenientes de la red pública y los autodeclarados negros, pardos e indígenas.

Resumen El objetivo general de este estudio es analizar la realidad curricular y las opiniones de los estudiantes acerca de los métodos de enseñanza que conocen durante su formación profesional en el Máster de Profesorado de Educación Secundaria de la Universidad de Córdoba (España) y la Universidad de Oporto (Portugal). La metodología implementada nos ha permitido identificar mediante un cuestionario tipo encuesta las concepciones del alumnado sobre las metodologías y las estrategias didácticas que piensan serían más adecuadas para su futura práctica profesional y formación docente. Los resultados de la investigación señalan que los estudiantes desconocen los modelos didácticos a emplear en sus clases. Por último, este trabajo supuso una oportunidad para sondear las creencias que el alumnado tiene acerca de la excesiva teorización de las materias. Resumo O objetivo geral deste estudo é analisar a realidade curricular e as opiniões dos alunos sobre os métodos de ensino que conhecem durante sua formação profissional no Mestrado em Ensino Secundário da Universidade de Córdoba (Espanha) e da Universidade do Porto (Portugal). A metodologia implementada nos permitiu identificar, através de uma pesquisa do tipo questionário, as concepções dos alunos sobre as metodologias e estratégias didáticas que consideram que seriam mais apropriadas para sua futura prática profissional e formação docente. Os resultados da pesquisa indicam que os alunos desconhecem os modelos didáticos a serem utilizados em suas aulas. Por fim, este trabalho representou uma oportunidade para sondar as crenças dos sobre a teorização excessiva das disciplinas. Résumé L'objectif général de cette étude est d'analyser la réalité du programme scolaire et les opinions des étudiants sur les méthodes d’enseignement auxquelles ils sont exposés tout au long de leur formation professionnelle dans le cadre du cours de maîtrise en Enseignement Secondaire à l’Université de Cordoue (Espagne) et à l’Université de Porto (Portugal). La méthodologie mise en œuvre a permis d’identifier, à travers une enquête par questionnaire, les conceptions des étudiants sur les méthodologies et les stratégies didactiques qu'ils jugent les plus adaptées à leur future pratique professionnelle ainsi qu’à la formation des enseignants. Les résultats de la recherche montrent que les étudiants ne connaissent pas les modèles didactiques qu’ils devront utiliser dans leurs propres classes. Par ailleurs, ce travail a permis d’examiner les croyances des étudiants quant à la théorisation excessive des disciplines. Abstract The general objective of this study is to analyze the curricular reality and the opinions of the students about the teaching methods they know during their professional training in the Master’s Degree in Secondary Education at the University of Córdoba (Spain) and the University of Porto (Portugal). The implemented methodology has allowed us to identify, through a questionnaire type survey, the students' conceptions of the methodologies and didactic strategies that they think would be more appropriate for their future professional practice and teacher training. The results of the investigation indicate that the students are unaware of the didactic models to be used in their classes. Finally, this work was an opportunity to probe the beliefs that students have about the excessive theorizing of subjects.

Resumo O objetivo deste estudo é explorar a teoria da atividade como um referencial teórico interdisciplinar adequado, situando os elementos sociais, pedagógicos e tecnológicos do blended learning no ensino superior, considerando a adoção e a efetividade do blended learning, que constitui a nova normalidade no atual contexto de presença e uso intensivo de tecnologias digitais na educação. Conclui-se a validade internacional da teoria da atividade e sua permanente transformação e evolução histórica, desde suas origens até os dias atuais, oferecendo transcender o caráter individual em direção a um caráter coletivo, representando adequadamente os elementos sociais, tecnológicos e histórico-culturais presentes em toda atividade formativa. Résumé L’objectif de cette étude est d’explorer la théorie de l’activité comme cadre théorique interdisciplinaire approprié, tout en situant les éléments sociaux, pédagogiques et technologiques du blended learning dans l’enseignement supérieur et tenant compte que l’adoption du blended learning et son efficacité constituent la nouvelle normalité dans le contexte actuel d’usage intensif des technologies numériques dans l’éducation. La conclusion est que la validité internationale de la théorie de l’activité, avec sa transformation permanente et son évolution historique, depuis ses origines jusqu’à nos jours, nous permet de transcender son caractère individuel vers un caractère collectif et représenter adéquatement les éléments sociaux, technologiques et historico-culturels présents dans toute activité de formation. Resumen El propósito es explorar la teoría de la actividad como referente teórico interdisciplinar adecuado, donde se sitúan los elementos sociales, pedagógicos y tecnológicos del blended learning en la educación superior, considerando que la adopción y efectividad del blended learning lo han constituido en el nuevo normal, en el actual contexto de presencia y uso intensivos de tecnologías digitales en educación. Se concluye en la validez internacional de la teoría de la actividad y su permanente transformación y evolución histórica desde sus orígenes hasta la época actual, ofrece transcender el carácter individual hacia un carácter colectivo, representando adecuadamente los elementos sociales, tecnológicos e histórico-culturales presentes en toda actividad formativa. Abstract The objective is to explore activity theory as a suitable interdisciplinary theoretical framework, where to place the social, pedagogical and technological elements of blended learning in higher education and considering the adoption and effectiveness of blended learning, constituting the new normality, in the current context of presence and intensive use of digital technologies in education. It concludes on the international validity of the theory of activity and its permanent transformation and historical evolution from its origins to the present day, it allows to transcend the individual character towards a collective character, adequately representing the social, technological and historical-cultural elements present throughout the formative activity.

Resumo Este artigo apresenta a identificação de três perfis exploratórios de padrões de práticas reflexivas de 115 estudantes-estagiários/as que frequentam os mestrados de formação de educadores/as de infância e professores/as do 1º e do 2º ciclo do ensino básico, em Portugal continental, em relação à prática de ensino supervisionada (PES). Os dados apresentados, resultantes da análise estatística baseada na análise de correspondências múltiplas (ACM), permitem identificar dois perfis diferenciados pelo impacto das reflexões escritas durante a PES e respetiva justificação, pelo subsistema de ensino superior que frequentam, pela natureza jurídica do subsistema e pelos modelos adotados, bem como um terceiro grupo diferenciado pelo modelo pedagógico adotado e pelo subsistema frequentado. Abstract This article presents three exploratory profiles of reflexive practices from a sample of 115 student-trainees who attend teacher training masters programs in early childhood education and in teaching 1st and 2nd cycle of basic education, in mainland Portugal, regarding prática de ensino supervisionada (PES) [supervised teaching practice]. The data presented comes from the statistical analysis based on análise de correspondências múltiplas (ACM) [multiple correspondence analysis]. It allows to identify two profiles set apart by the impact of the reflections written during STP and their respective justification based on the subsystem of higher education they attend, the legal nature of the subsystem and the adopted models. The data also differentiated a third group based on the pedagogical model adopted and the subsystem. Résumé Cet article identifie trois profils exploratoires de modèles de pratiques réflexives concernant la pratique supervisée de l’enseignement (PSE), de 115 étudiants enrôlés en maitrises de formation pour éducateurs/trices de l’enfance et des enseignants des 1er et 2nd cycles de l’éducation de base, au Portugal. Les données proviennent de l’analyse statistique, appuyée sur l’analyse des correspondances multiples (ACM). Ces données permettent d’identifier deux profils qui se différencient non seulement par l’impact des réflexions rédigées pendant la PSE et leur respectives justifications, mais aussi par le sous-système de l’enseignement supérieur choisi par les stagiaires, par la nature juridique du sous-système ainsi que par les modèles adoptés. Un troisième groupe a aussi pu être différencié par le modèle pédagogique adopté et par le sous-système d’enseignement. Resumen Este artículo presenta la identificación de tres perfiles exploratorios de patrones de prácticas reflexivas de 115 estudiantes en prácticas que participan en la maestría en formación de docentes de educación infantil y profesores /as de primer y segundo ciclo de enseñanza básica en Portugal continental, en relación con la prática de ensino supervisionada [práctica de enseñanza supervisada] (PES). The paper addresses, based on international and national bibliographic research, the concept of first-generation student (F-Gen) and his/her characteristics as it applies to the Brazilian context. It takes into account the results of Enade (Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes) (2015, 2016, 2017) on the profile of the student, providing some indicators about diversity in higher education access by examining degree completion of first-generation college student (F-Gen) while contrasting it with that of continuing college students (C-Gen). The paper concludes discussing the complexity of the concept of being first-generation, while suggesting ways how it can be used in assessing college participation in higher education. El texto discute, con base en la investigación bibliográfica internacional y nacional, el concepto de estudiante de primera generación (P-Gen), sus características y cómo ello se puede aplicar al contexto brasileño. En paralelo, tiene en cuenta los resultados del Enade (Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes) (2015, 2016, 2017) sobre el perfil del estudiante, suministrando algunos identificadores en lo que se refiere a la diversidad en el acceso a la educación superior por estudiantes de P-Gen en relación a estudiantes de generación continua (C-Gen), en graduandos en este grado de enseñanza. Concluye sobre la complejidad del concepto de ser de primera generación, mientras sugiere maneras de cómo se puede utilizar el concepto para evaluar y establecer relaciones con la expansión en la educación superior. La notion d’étudiant de première génération (P-Gen), ses caractéristiques et son application dans le contexte brésilien sont abordés s´appuyant sur une bibliographie nationale et internationale. Cette étude prend en compte, en même temps, les résultats du Enade (Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes) (2015, 2016, 2017) concernant le profil de ces étudiants, ce rapport fournit quelques indicateurs relatifs à la question de la diversité dans l’accès à l’enseignement supérieur et compare les étudiants diplômésde P-Gen à ceux de génération continue (C-Gen). La conclusion souligne la complexité du concept de première génération et suggère des manières d’utiliser cette notion dans l’évaluation et son rapport avec l’expansion de l’enseignement supérieur. O artigo reflete sobre a gratuidade do ensino superior publico brasileiro. De inicio, contextualiza-se o tema e, em seguida, sao sistematizadas as teses favoraveis a cobranca de mensalidades, verificando sua validade a luz das evidencias empiricas e dos conceitos utilizados para sustentacao dos argumentos. No mesmo movimento de analise, apresentam-se contrapontos as teses levantadas e, por fim, sao discutidos brevemente os interesses ideologicos e financeiros que clamam pelo fim da gratuidade do ensino superior publico. First, it contextualizes the topic and then systematizes the arguments in favor of charging tuition fees, justifying them in the light of empirical evidence and concepts used to support those arguments. Il contextualise d’abord le theme pour ensuite systematiser les theses favorables a la non gratuite afin d’en verifier la validite a la lumiere des donnees empiriques et des concepts utilises pour soutenir ces arguments. Des points opposes a ces theses sont aussi presentes et finalement sont abordes brievement les interets ideologiques et financiers qui reclament la fin de la gratuite de l’enseignement superieur public. Inicialmente se contextualiza el tema y a continuacion se sistematizan las tesis favorables al cobro de la matricula, verificando su validez a la luz de las evidencias empiricas y de los conceptos utilizados para apoyar los argumentos. En el mismo movimiento de analisis, se presentan contrapuntos a las tesis planteadas y, finalmente, se discuten brevemente los intereses ideologicos y financieros que exigen el fin de la educacion superior publica gratuita. The aim of this article is to identify and analyze the deployment of the higher education policies directed at the training of Brazilian Sign Language teachers in the upcoming decade, under decree 5.626 from 2005. Documentary research, based on content analysis, allowed the outlining of a panorama of the courses offered at federal higher education institutions in Bilingual Pedagogy and a Degree in Libras, from 2006 to 2015. The results revealed that the distance learning modality was the main one linked to the expansion of the number of vacancies. However, in a general estimate, there is still a small number of vacancies and higher education courses for these professionals, especially in the segment that includes early childhood education and the first years of elementary school. This shows the lack of graduates from these courses, in the national scenario. Résumé L’objectif de cet article est d’identifier et d’analyser les déploiements des politiques d’enseignement supérieur destinées aux cours de formation d’enseignants de langue des signes dans la décennie qui a suivi le décret 5626 de 2005 au Brésil. L’analyse du contenu a appuyé la recherche documentaire et a permis de présente un aperçu de l’offre de cours chez les institutions fédérales supérieures de l’enseignement bilingue et de licence en lettres en langue des signes brésilienne dans la période 2006-2015. Les résultats ont dévoilé que l’éducation à distance a été le principal allié pour l’expansion du nombre de places offertes, mais dans l’ensemble, elles sont encore peu nombreuses bien que les cours d’enseignement supérieur de formation des professionnels, en particulier de l’éducation préscolaire et de premières années du primaire. Il em ressort le manque de diplômés dans le scénario national. Resumen El objetivo de este artigo es identificar y analizar la evolución de las políticas de educación superior direccionadas hacia los cursos para formación de profesores de Lengua de Señas Brasileña en la década ulterior al Decreto 5.626 de 2005. La investigación documental, guiada por las contribuciones del análisis de contenido, permitió delinear un panorama de la oferta realizada por instituciones federales de cursos superiores de Pedagogía Bilingüe y Licenciatura en Letras Libras en el período entre 2006 y 2015. Los resultados desvelaron que la educación a distancia fue la principal aliada en la expansión del número de vacantes, aunque, en el cómputo general, haya un número todavía escaso de vacantes y cursos superiores para la formación de estos profesionales, sobre todo en el segmento que abarca la educación infantil y a los años iniciales de la enseñanza primaria. Se denota con eso la carencia de egresados de esos cursos en el escenario nacional. Resumo O objetivo deste artigo consiste em identificar e analisar os desdobramentos das políticas de educação superior voltadas aos cursos para formação de professores de Língua Brasileira de Sinais na década ulterior ao Decreto n. 5.626 de 2005. A pesquisa documental, pautada nas contribuições da análise de conteúdo, permitiu delinear um panorama da oferta realizada por instituições federais de cursos superiores de Pedagogia Bilíngue e Licenciatura em Letras Libras no período entre 2006 e 2015. Os resultados desvelaram que a educação a distância foi a principal aliada na expansão do número de vagas, embora, no cômputo geral, haja um quantitativo ainda escasso de vagas e cursos superiores para a formação desses profissionais, sobretudo no segmento que abrange a educação infantil e os anos iniciais do ensino fundamental. Denota-se com isso a carência de egressos desses cursos no cenário nacional.

RESUMO Como gerar bem-estar, paz e prosperidade para uma nação é uma questão antiga e ainda fundamental para quase todo o mundo. Nesse início de século XXI, a educação superior adquiriu grande relevância para o desenvolvimento dos países, na medida em que está diretamente relacionada à formação tanto do profissional competente como do cidadão com pensamento crítico. Não obstante, com objetivos econômicos, governos estão priorizando cada vez mais a capacitação e aquisição de competências práticas. Considerando tal tendência, nesse artigo, procura-se, por meio de dedução, demonstrar que a formação integral e de cultura geral na educação superior pode contribuir decisivamente para os países se desenvolverem não apenas no âmbito da democracia e inclusão social, mas também do próprio crescimento econômico. RÉSUMÉ Savoir engendrer le bien-être, la paix et la prospérité d’une nation est une question ancienne qui demeure fondamentale dans la quasi-totalité du monde. Au début de ce XXI siècle, l’éducation supérieure a pris une grande importance pour le développement des pays, dans la mesure où elle est directement liée à la formation de professionnels compétents tout autant qu’à celle des citoyens critiques. Néanmoins, les gouvernements, dont les objectifs sont économiques, priorisent de plus en plus les formations et les acquisitions ayant trait aux compétences pratiques. Tenant compte de cette tendance, le présent article cherche, par déduction, à démontrer que la formation intégrale et la culture générale au sein de l’éducation supérieure contribuent de manière décisive au développement des pays, non seulement en matière de démocratie, mais aussi en termes de croissance économique. RESUMEN Cómo generar bienestar, paz y prosperidad para una nación es un tema antiguo y todavía fundamental para casi todo el mundo. En este inicio de siglo XXI, la educación superior adquirió gran relevancia para el desarrollo de los países por estar directamente relacionada a la formación, tanto del profesional competente como del ciudadano con pensamiento crítico. No obstante, con objetivos económicos, los gobiernos están priorizando cada vez más la capacitación y la adquisición de competencias prácticas. Considerando tal tendencia, en el presente artículo se intenta, por medio de deducción, demonstrar que la formación integral y de cultura general en la educación superior puede contribuir decisivamente para que los países se desarrollen no solamente en el ámbito de la democracia y la inclusión social, sino también del propio crecimiento económico. ABSTRACT How to generate well-being, peace and prosperity for a nation is an old and still fundamental question to almost the whole world. In this early 21st century, higher education has acquired a major relevance to the development of nations as it is directly related to educating both competent professionals and citizens with critical thinking. However, with economic purposes, governments are increasingly prioritizing the acquisition of practical training and skills. Considering this tendency, in this article, we seek to demonstrate by means of deduction that integral education and general knowledge in higher education can make a key contribution for nations to develop not only in terms of democracy and social inclusion, but also of economic growth itself.

RESUMO O presente trabalho discute a articulação entre estudo, trabalho e família para estudantes de ensino superior a partir dos resultados de uma pesquisa mais ampla realizada na Universidade Federal de Goiás. Tomando como base uma amostra de 527 estudantes, busca-se caracterizá-los de acordo com seus pertencimentos e posições sociais, além de compreender os usos do tempo e a participação de homens e mulheres no trabalho produtivo e reprodutivo. A análise indica que, apesar de jovens mulheres constituírem a maioria da população universitária, as construções hierárquicas das relações de gênero persistem e a responsabilidade pelos afazeres domésticos ainda é assumida, de forma preponderante, como feminina. ABSTRACT This paper discusses the links among study, work and family for higher education students based on the results of a broader research carried out at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (BR). Based on a sample of 527 students, this work seeks to characterize them according to their sense of belonging and social positions, their use of time and, also, the participation of men and women in productive and reproductive work. The analysis indicates that although young women make up the majority of the population, the hierarchical structures of gender relations persist and the responsibility for domestic work is still overwhelmingly assumed by women. RÉSUMÉ Ce travail discute l’articulation entre études, travail et famille pour des étudiants de niveau supérieur et utilise des résultats d’une recherche plus vaste menée à l’Universidade Federal de Goiás. En prenant comme base un échantillon de 527 étudiants, nous avons cherché à les caractériser en fonction de leur appartenance et de leur position sociale. Nous avons, par ailleurs, tenté de comprendre comment ils utilisaient leur temps et quelle était la participation des hommes et des femmes dans le travail productif et reproductif. Cette anlyse indique que, même si les jeunes femmes constituent la majorité de la population universitaire, les constructions hiérarchiques des relations de genre persistent et que la responsabilité pour les tâches domestiques est fondamentalement perçue comme appartenant au domaine féminin. RESUMEN El presente trabajo discute la articulación entre estudio, trabajo y familia para estudiantes de la educación superior a partir de los resultados de una investigación más amplia realizada en la Universidade Federal de Goiás. Tomando como base una muestra de 527 estudiantes, se busca caracterizarlos de acuerdo a sus pertenencias y posiciones sociales, además de comprender los usos del tiempo y la participación de hombres y mujeres en el trabajo productivo y reproductivo. El análisis indica que, a pesar de que las mujeres jóvenes constituyen la mayoría de la población universitaria, las construcciones jerárquicas de las relaciones de género persisten y la responsabilidad por las tareas domésticas todavía es considerada, de forma preponderante, como femenina.

RESUMEN Los centros de escritura, originalmente llamados laboratorios o clínicas, nacieron de la necesidad de las universidades norteamericanas de subsanar los problemas de escritura de sus estudiantes. Así, su motivación inicial redundó en un carácter remediador. Avanzada la segunda mitad del siglo, se genera un cambio de denominación al que le subyace un cambio en la manera de concebir la enseñanza del lenguaje, y que indica que el centro de escritura ahora es un espacio abierto no solo para los estudiantes más atrasados o con problemas en alguna asignatura, sino para todos. Un elemento que se ha mantenido en estos espacios desde sus inicios, y que hasta ahora ha demostrado efectividad, ha sido el aprendizaje colaborativo mediante la tutoría entre pares. El propósito de este artículo es evaluar el papel de ésta dentro de la trayectoria de los centros de escritura, y establecer los alcances y las limitaciones que enfrenta en la actualidad. ABSTRACT Writing centers, originally called laboratories or clinics, were born from the need of American universities to correct writing problems of their students. Thus, their initial motivation gave way to a remedial character: after the second half of the century, there was a modification in this denomination, underlying a change in the way of conceiving language teaching. This indicates that the writing center is now an open space not only for students with difficulties in a discipline, but for everyone. An element that has remained in these spaces from the beginning and that until now has shown to be effective is collaborative learning through peer tutoring. The purpose of this article is to assess the role of this type of learning within the trajectory of writing centers, establishing the scope and limitations that they currently face. RÉSUMÉ Les ateliers d’écriture, appelés originellement laboratoires ou cliniques, sont apparus dans les universités américaines pour palier aux difficultés d’écriture rencontrées par les étudiants. Cette motivation initiale revêtait à l’époque d’un caractère palliatif. Dans la seconde moitié du XX siècle, il y a eu un changement de dénomination qui sous-tend aussi un changement dans la manière de concevoir l’enseignement du langage, maintenant l’atelier d’écriture est devenu un espace ouvert, à tous et non seulement aux élèves en retard ou ayant des problèmes dans une discipline quelconque. Un élément présent dans ces espaces dès le début et qui, aujourd’hui encore, s’avère efficace est l’apprentissage collaboratif à travers des pairs mentors. L’objectif de cet article est d’évaluer le rôle de ce type d’aprentissage dans la trajectoire des ateliers d’écriture, tout en analysant sa portée aussi bien que les limites auxquelles il est actuellement confronté. RESUMO Os centros de escrita, originalmente chamados de laboratórios ou clínicas, nasceram da necessidade das universidades americanas de corrigir os problemas de escrita de seus estudantes. Assim, sua motivação inicial deu origem a um caráter remediador. Após a segunda metade do século, ocorreu uma mudança de denominação, na qual também subjaz uma mudança na maneira de conceber o ensino da linguagem, indicando que o centro de escrita agora é um espaço aberto, não só para os alunos mais atrasados ou com problemas em alguma disciplina, mas para todos. Um elemento que permaneceu nesses espaços desde o início e que até agora demonstrou ser eficiente foi a aprendizagem colaborativa mediante a tutoria entre pares. O objetivo deste artigo é avaliar o papel desse tipo de aprendizagem dentro da trajetória dos centros de escrita, estabelecendo os alcances e limitações que atualmente enfrenta.

RESUMO O propósito deste artigo é refletir sobre concepções de docentes de cursos superiores da área de exatas em relação à implantação e manutenção de ações afirmativas na universidade. Os dados aqui discutidos foram produzidos a partir de entrevistas com docentes e gestores ligados a cursos de matemática e engenharias. Para a análise dos dados, utilizaram-se ferramentas analíticas da análise de conteúdo, tendo como perspectiva teórica o inquérito crítico. Os resultados podem ser resumidos em quatro temas: além de um assistencialismo; singularidades, particularidades e desempenho de estudantes beneficiados por ações afirmativas; a questão da permanência; e valorização dos docentes envolvidos em práticas voltadas para a permanência do estudante beneficiado por ações afirmativas. RÉSUMÉ L’objectif de cet article est de réfiéchir sur des conceptions des professeurs universitaires dans la filiere des sciences exactes, au sujet de l´introduction et du maintien d’actions affirmatives à l’université. Les données proviennent d’entretiens avec des enseignants et des gestionnaires des cours de mathématiques et d’ingénierie. Pour l’analyse des entretiens on a utilisé l’analyse de contenu dans la perspective théorique de l´enquête critique. Les résultats peuvent se résumer en quatre themes: au delà de l´assistentialisme; les singularités, les particularités et la performance des étudiants bénéficiant d’actions affirmatives; et la valorisation des enseignants engagés dans des pratiques visant la permanence des bénéficiairest d’actions affirmatives. RESUMEN El propósito de este artigo es reflexionar sobre concepciones de docentes de cursos superiores del área de exactas en relación a la implantación y mantenimiento de acciones afirmativas en la universidad. Los datos aquí discutidos fueron producidos a partir de entrevistas con docentes y gestores vinculados a cursos de matemáticas e ingenierías. Para el análisis de los datos se utilizaron herramientas analíticas del análisis de contenido y se tuvo como perspectiva teórica la indagación crítica. Se puede resumir los resultados en cuatro temas: más allá de un asistencialismo; singularidades, particularidades y desempeño de estudiantes beneficiados por acciones afirmativas; el tema de la permanencia; y valorización de los docentes involucrados en prácticas que se destinan a la permanencia del estudiante beneficiado por acciones afirmativas. ABSTRACT The purpose of this article is to discuss the conceptions of exact science faculty members in relation to the implementation and maintenance of affirmative actions in higher education. Data were produced through interviews with faculty and managers in mathematics and engineering courses, and were organized and analysed using content analysis from the theoretical perspective of critical inquiry. For analysing the data, we used content analysis’ analytical tools, having critical inquiry as theoretical perspective. Results can be summarized in four themes: assistentialism; affirmative action students’ singularities, particularities and academic achievement; the permanence issue; and the value given to teachers involved in practices aimed at promoting the permanence of students who were the beneficiaries of affirmative action.

Resumo Este artigo tem como objetivo descrever e analisar a percepção de docentes da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) em relação à temática da educação em direitos humanos (EDH) no âmbito universitário. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa foi realizada por meio da submissão de um questionário aos docentes da Universidade que apresentaram produções e/ou práticas extensionistas na área temática. Na análise dos resultados alcançados, pode-se destacar que cerca de 80% dos respondentes indicaram haver entraves no desenvolvimento de pesquisas e práticas extensionistas em direitos humanos na Unicamp. Também foi possível observar uma concordância em relação à consideração da EDH enquanto um dos compromissos sociais a ser assumido pela Universidade. Resumen Este artículo tiene como objetivo describir y analizar la percepción de los profesores de la Universidad Estatal de Campinas (Unicamp) en relación con el tema de la educación en derechos humanos a nivel universitario. Metodológicamente, esta investigación se realizó mediante el envío de un cuestionario a los profesores de la Universidad que presentaron producciones y/o prácticas de extensión en el área temática; luego, después del análisis realizado, presentaremos los resultados logrados a través de esto. Se puede resaltar lo siguiente: alrededor del 80% de los encuestados indicaron que existen barreras para el desarrollo de prácticas de investigación y extensión en derechos humanos en la Unicamp; fue posible observar un acuerdo en relación con la consideración de EDH como uno de los compromisos sociales a asumir por la Universidad. Résumé Cet article vise à décrire et à analyser la perception des professeurs de l’Université Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) sur l’éducation aux droits de l’homme a l’université. Méthodologiquement, un questionnaire a été soumis aux professeurs de l’Université qui avaient des productions et des pratiques de vulgarisation dans ce domaine. L’analyse met en évidence les résultats suivants: environ 80% des interrogés ont indiqué qu’il existe des obstacles au développement de pratiques de recherche et de vulgarisation en matière de droits de l’homme à Unicamp et aussi un accord concernant la prise en compte de l’EDH comme l’un des engagements sociaux que l’université devrait assumer. Abstract This article aims to describe and analyze the perception of professors at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) in relation to the subject of human rights education (HRE) at the university level. Methodologically, this research was carried out by submitting a survey to professors at the University who presented productions and/or extension practices in the thematic area; then, after the analysis performed, we will present the results achieved through this. The following can be highlighted: about 80% of respondents indicated that there are barriers to the development of research and extension practices in human rights at Unicamp; it was possible to observe an agreement in relation to the consideration of HRE as one of the social commitments to be assumed by the University.
