The Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) can be utilized for long-distance and high-precision time transmission. With the ongoing development of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and the rapidly changing geometric relationships between them, the convergence rate of ambiguity parameters in Precise Point Positioning (PPP) algorithms has increased, enabling fast and reliable time transfer. In this paper, GPS is used as an experimental case, the LEO satellite constellation is designed, and simulated LEO observation data are generated. Then, using the GPS observation data provided by IGS, a LEO-enhanced PPP model is established. The LEO-augmented PPP model is employed to facilitate faster and more reliable high-precision time transfer. The application of the LEO-augmented PPP model to time transfer is examined and discussed through experimental examples. These examples show multiple types of time transfer links, and the experimental outcomes are uniform. GPS + LEO is compared with exclusive GPS time transfer schemes. The clock offset of the time transfer link for the GPS + LEO scheme converges more swiftly, meaning that the time required for the clock offset to reach a stable level is the briefest. In this paper, standard deviation is employed to assess stability, and Allan deviation is utilized to assess frequency stability. The results show that the clock offset stability and frequency stability achieved by the GPS + LEO scheme are superior within the convergence time range. Controlled experiments with different numbers of satellites for LEO enhancement indicate that time transfer performance can be improved by increasing the number of satellites. Precision point positioning (PPP) utilizing the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is a traditional and widely employed technology. Its performance is susceptible to observation discontinuities and unfavorable geometric configurations. Consequently, the integration of the Inertial Navigation System (INS) and GNSS makes full use of their respective advantages and effectively mitigates the limitations of GNSS positioning. However, the GNSS/INS integration faces significant challenges in complex and harsh urban environments. In recent years, the geometry between the user and the satellite has been effectively improved with the advent of lower-orbits and faster-speed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. This enhancement provides more observation data, opening up new possibilities and opportunities for high-precision positioning. Meanwhile, in contrast to the traditional extended Kalman filter (EKF) approach, the performance of the LEO-enhanced GNSS/INS tightly coupled integration (TCI) can be significantly improved by employing the factor graph optimization (FGO) method with multiple iterations to achieve stable estimation. In this study, LEO data and the FGO method were employed to enhance the GNSS/INS TCI. To validate the effectiveness of the method, vehicle data and simulated LEO observations were subjected to thorough analysis. The results suggest that the integration of LEO data significantly enhances the positioning accuracy and convergence speed of the GNSS/INS TCI. In contrast to the FGO GNSS/INS TCI without LEO enhancement, the average enhancement effect of the LEO is 22.16%, 7.58%, and 10.13% in the north, east, and vertical directions, respectively. Furthermore, the average root mean square error (RMSE) of the LEO-enhanced FGO GNSS/INS TCI is 0.63 m, 1.21 m, and 0.85 m in the north, east, and vertical directions, respectively, representing an average improvement of 41.91%, 13.66%, and 2.52% over the traditional EKF method. Tunnel construction projects are a classic type of repetitive project, and hold a crucial position in the construction industry. The linear scheduling method (LSM) has been in the spotlight in scheduling optimization for repetitive construction projects since it was first proposed. However, the possibility of changing the construction sequence during application is very often overlooked, which is not in line with actual engineering practices. Incorporating soft logic into LSM and considering the characteristics of tunnel construction, we propose an optimization method for the tunnel construction schedule to shorten the duration by opening up an additional working surface. A mixed-integer programming (MIP) model is developed, which considers various constraints, such as construction sequence and work continuity. The exact algorithm and genetic algorithm (GA) are designed via Python, and the validity is verified through practical cases. A comparative analysis was conducted between the two algorithms and their outcomes demonstrates that the method can satisfy the restrictive constraints of tunnel construction projects. Positioning by means of the Global Positioning System (GPS) is a traditional and widely used method. However, its performance is affected by the user environment, such as multi-path effects and poor anti-interference abilities. Therefore, an Inertial Navigation System (INS) has been integrated with GPS to overcome the disadvantages of GPS positioning. INSs do not rely on any external system information and has strong autonomy and independence from the external environment. However, the performance of GPS/INS is visibly degraded in low-observability GPS environments (tall buildings, viaducts, underground tunnels, woods, etc.). Fortunately, with the emergence of Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) satellites in recent years, the constellation configuration can be extended with the advantages of lower orbits, greater speeds, and richer geometric structures. LEO improves the geometric structure between users and satellites and provides many more observations. Meanwhile, a robust theory approach is applied that can restrain or remove the impact of low-accuracy observations. In this study, we applied LEO data and a robust theory approach to enhance the GPS/INS tight integration. To verify the effectiveness of this method, a set of vehicles and simulated LEO data were analyzed. The results show that robust Kalman filtering (RKF) provides a visible enhancement in the positioning accuracy of GPS/INS integration. This effectively restrains the mutation error and has a smoothing effect on the positioning results. In addition, the addition of LEO data significantly improves the positioning accuracy of a sole GPS and GPS/INS integration. The GPS/LEO/INS integration has the highest positioning accuracy, with Root-Mean-Square Errors (RMSEs) of the north, east, and vertical positions of 2.38 m, 1.94 m, and 2.49 m, respectively, which corresponds to an improvement of 30.21%, 47.43%, and 34.13% compared to sole GPS-based positioning and 8.60%, 17.24%, and 12.14% when compared to the GPS/INS mode. Establishing an ultra-high-precision link for time–frequency comparisons between satellites and ground stations is critically important. This endeavor is fundamental to the advancement of pioneering space science exploration and the development of a robust space-based time–frequency system featuring ultra-high-precision space atomic clocks. In response to the requirements for assessing the long-term stability of high-precision space atomic clocks, we have designed and implemented a satellite–ground microwave time–frequency comparison system and method based on a three-frequency mode. Ground-based experimental results demonstrate that the equipment layer can achieve a satellite–ground time comparison accuracy better than 0.4 ps (RMS), with the equipment delay stability (ADEV) for all three frequencies being better than 8 × 10−18 at 86,400. By leveraging the ground-based experimental results, we constructed a satellite–ground time–frequency comparison simulation and verification platform. This platform realizes ultra-high-precision satellite–ground time–frequency comparison based on the China Space Station (CSS). After correcting various transmission delay errors, the satellite–ground time comparison achieved an accuracy better than 0.8 ps and an ADEV better than 2 × 10−17 at 86,400. This validation of our novel satellite–ground time–frequency comparison system and method, capable of achieving an 10−17 magnitude stability, is not only a significant contribution to the field of space time–frequency systems but also paves the way for future advancements and applications in space science exploration. Specific emitter identification (SEI) is a professional technology to recognize different emitters by measuring the unique features of received signals. It has been widely used in both civilian and military fields. Recently, many SEI methods based on deep learning have been proposed, most of which assume that the training set and testing set have the same data distribution. However, in reality, the testing set is generally used later than the training set and lacks labels. The long time span may change the signal transmission environment and fingerprint features. These changes result in considerable differences in data distribution between the training and testing sets, thereby affecting the recognition and prediction abilities of the model. Therefore, the existing works cannot achieve satisfactory results for a long time span SEI. To address this challenge and obtain stable fingerprints, we transform the long time span SEI problem into a domain adaptive problem and propose an unsupervised domain adaptive method called LTS-SEI. Noteworthily, LTS-SEI uses a multilayer convolutional feature extractor to learn feature knowledge and confronts a domain discriminator to generate domain-invariant shallow fingerprints. The classifier of LTS-SEI applies feature matching to source domain samples and target domain samples to achieve the domain alignment of deep fingerprints. The classifier further reduces the intraclass diversity of deep features to alleviate the misclassification problem of edge samples in the target domain. To confirm the effectiveness and reliability of LTS-SEI, we collect multiple sets of real satellite navigation signals using two antennas with 13 m- and 40 m-large apertures, respectively, and construct two available datasets. To investigate the cold response mechanism and low temperature regulation of flowering in tulips, this study identified 32 MADS-box transcription factor family members in tulips based on full-length transcriptome sequencing, named TgMADS1-TgMADS32. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that these genes can be divided into two classes: type I and type II. Structural analysis showed that TgMADS genes from different subfamilies have a similar distribution of conserved motifs. Quantitative real-time PCR results demonstrated that some TgMADS genes (e.g., TgMADS3, TgMADS15, TgMADS16, and TgMADS19) were significantly upregulated in buds and stems under cold conditions, implying their potential involvement in the cold response of tulips. In summary, this study systematically identified MADS family members in tulips and elucidated their evolutionary relationships, gene structures, and cold-responsive expression patterns, laying the foundation for further elucidating the roles of these transcription factors in flowering and the cold adaptability of tulips. The Sarez Dam, currently recognized as the world's highest natural dam, holds immense economic significance, necessitating the reliable monitoring and early detection of potential deformations. This study utilizes the Beidou high-precision deformation monitoring system for the dam. Employing baseline network solutions, precise point positioning, and real-time kinematic positioning, the monitoring data from October 2021 to March 2023 were meticulously processed and comparatively analyzed. The results reveal varied degrees of displacement deformation at all sites, with horizontal deformation towards the lake center and vertical deformation showing subsidence. The three-dimensional vector average displacement is 29.1 mm, with an average monthly rate of 4.3 mm/month, and the maximum deformation is 41.4 mm. The cause of the horizontal deformation towards the lake center may be a slow collapse of the coastal soil and rock towards the lake center. Additionally, the monitoring detected a 7.2-magnitude earthquake on 23 February 2023, 52 km from the dam, causing an average displacement of 22.5 mm towards the south, which is 20 times the monthly deformation rate. In summary, deformation is present within the dam monitoring area, with a relatively stable deformation rate, warranting continued tracking and monitoring. The timely identification and detection of surface cracks in concrete dams, an important public safety infrastructure, is of great significance in predicting engineering hazards and ensuring dam safety. Due to their low efficiency and accuracy, manual detection methods are gradually being replaced by computer vision techniques, and deep learning semantic segmentation methods have higher accuracy and robustness than traditional image methods. However, the lack of data images and insufficient detection performance remain challenges in concrete dam surface crack detection scenarios. Therefore, this paper proposes an intelligent detection method for concrete dam surface cracks based on two-stage transfer learning. First, relevant domain knowledge is transferred to the target domain using two-stage transfer learning, cross-domain and intradomain learning, allowing the model to be fully trained with a small dataset. Second, the segmentation capability is enhanced by using residual network 50 (ResNet50) as a UNet model feature extraction network to enhance crack feature information extraction. Finally, multilayer parallel residual attention (MPR) is integrated into its jump connection path to improve the focus on critical information for clearer fracture edge segmentation. The results show that the proposed method achieves optimal mIoU and mPA of 88.3% and 92.7%, respectively, among many advanced semantic segmentation models. Compared with the benchmark UNet model, the proposed method improves mIoU and mPA by 4.6% and 3.2%, respectively, reduces FLOPs by 36.7%, improves inference speed by 48.9%, verifies its better segmentation performance on dam face crack images with a low fine crack miss detection rate and clear crack edge segmentation, and achieves an accuracy of over 85.7% in crack area prediction. In summary, the proposed method has higher efficiency and accuracy in concrete dam face crack detection, with greater robustness, and can provide a better alternative or complementary approach to dam safety inspections than the benchmark UNet model. As a basic task and key link of space situational awareness, space target recognition has become crucial in threat analysis, communication reconnaissance and electronic countermeasures. Using the fingerprint features carried by the electromagnetic signal to recognize is an effective method. Because traditional radiation source recognition technologies are difficult to obtain satisfactory expert features, automatic feature extraction methods based on deep learning have become popular. Although many deep learning schemes have been proposed, most of them are only used to solve the inter-class separable problem and ignore the intra-class compactness. In addition, the openness of the real space may invalidate the existing closed-set recognition methods. In order to solve the above problems, inspired by the application of prototype learning in image recognition, we propose a novel method for recognizing space radiation sources based on a multi-scale residual prototype learning network (MSRPLNet). The method can be used for both the closed- and open-set recognition of space radiation sources. Furthermore, we also design a joint decision algorithm for an open-set recognition task to identify unknown radiation sources. To verify the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed method, we built a set of satellite signal observation and receiving systems in a real external environment and collected eight Iridium signals. The experimental results show that the accuracy of our proposed method can reach 98.34% and 91.04% for the closed- and open-set recognition of eight Iridium targets, respectively. Measuring the water content of slopes is essential because the distribution and migration of water within slopes are important factors of landslide instability. In this study, the relationship between the resistivity, volumetric temperature water content and temperature of landslide soil was modelled. The model was validated by indoor landslide model tests and field tests in Baijiabao to investigate the effect of reservoir water levels on the water content of landslide slopes. Test results showed that, as the reservoir levels rose, the water content of the landslide soil increased. Moreover, a good correspondence between the measured results and the inversion results based on the resistivity data was obtained by using the high-density electrical method in combination with the developed model of the relationship between resistivity, volumetric water content and temperature, indicating that the proposed method is reliable and practicable in hydrodynamic landslide monitoring. Pervious concrete (PC) is a multifunctional material with good water permeability, noise reduction, and heat absorption properties. The most critical performance indicators of the PC are permeability and strength, which are mainly affected by the cement paste coating thickness (PCT) on the aggregate surface. The experiment was carried out to study the influence of the water–cement ratio, superplasticizer dosage, aggregate roughness, and aggregate size on PCT, and a new normalization method was proposed for grey correlation analysis to determine the influence degree of the above factors on PCT. Finally, fitting models for predicting the PCT were established based on experimental data. The experimental results indicate that the influence of the water–cement ratio on PCT can be divided into two stages, whereby the PCT shows a slow decline and then a rapid decline with the increase in water–cement ratio; with the increase in superplasticizer dosage, the PCT represents an exponentially decreasing trend; the PCT increases with the aggregate size and aggregate roughness. Based on the grey correlation analysis, the superplasticizer dosage exerts the greatest influence on PCT, followed by the water–cement ratio, aggregate size, and aggregate roughness. The results of this study revealed the change law of PCT under the action of the above factors, which established the premise of controlling the strength and permeability of PC from the perspective of the PCT and provided a reference for the mixture proportion design. Several global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) broadcast overlapping frequencies to enhance interoperability, allowing tight integration with only one reference satellite for every system with the same frequency. The key to realizing tight integration is estimating and utilizing differential intersystem biases, which allows the integer characteristic of the differenced ambiguity of two satellites from different systems to be retrieved. In this study, a detailed algorithm flow of a tight integration kinematic uncalibrated phase delay (UPD)-based PPP ambiguity resolution (PPP-AR) method, which includes multiple parts, is introduced. Subsequently, PPP-AR numerical experiments were conducted in a high-shade observation environment to determine the performance. In comparison with traditional methods, our results indicate that the average success fix rate improves from 83% to 100% after using the tight integration method in an environment where only three satellites are observed for each system. Moreover, for fewer than nine satellites, the tight integration method can still consistently maintain a fixed state. Traditional PPP-RTK algorithm research has focused on users in a reference station network. However, if a proper PPP-RTK user algorithm can be designed for out-of-network users to achieve accurate and rapid positioning, the effective service area of existing reference station networks can be markedly expanded. To address the problem of extrapolating atmospheric corrections for out-of-network users, this study presents a single-reference-station (SRS) PPP-RTK model to address atmospheric delay corrections, by ensuring that only corrections from the closest reference station are used. Several numerical experiments were designed and conducted to compare the performance of the presented model and a widely used interpolation model. The extrapolation error distribution, mean and the maximum of absolute values of errors, and standard deviation of errors were selected as indicators. The results show that the SRS PPP-RTK model is significantly more accurate than the interpolation model. Thus, for out-of-network users, we suggest that the presented SRS PPP-RTK model should be used, and the residual atmospheric delays are needed to be estimated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To understand the influence of fly ash (FA) content on the microstructure and strength of concrete under freeze–thaw cycles (FTCs), four groups of concrete with different FA contents (0–30%) were tested under FTC condition. Mass loss rate, relative dynamic modulus of elasticity (RDME), splitting tensile strength and other damage indicators were selected to describe the impact of macro properties. The micro physical changes, porosity and pore size distribution parameters were obtained through scanning electron microscope (SEM) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments. The influence mechanism of FA content on the frost resistance durability of concrete under FTC was discussed from the macro and micro perspectives. The results show that under the action of FTC, the addition of FA fills the pores, reduces the pore spacing, improves the strength of concrete, and makes the RDEM and splitting tensile strength of concrete increase first and then decrease. Among them, 20% FA concrete has the best frost resistance. The pore structure parameters show that the content of pores smaller than 100 nm has a great impact on the frost resistance durability of FA concrete, and increasing the content of these pores can improve the frost resistance durability of concrete. Freeze–thaw cycles (FTCs) and steel bar corrosion (SBC) are the most common service conditions of hydraulic concrete and have significant impacts on its durability. Using pullout and microscopic tests of different FTC and SBC rates, we selected the mass loss rate, ultrasonic velocity, bond strength and bond slip in order to describe the changes in the macro-properties, and also selected the porosity and pore size distribution as micro-parameters in order to explore the influence of FTCs and SBC on the mechanical properties of hydraulic concrete. The results showed that the bond strength decreased as the FTCs increased due to the microstructure damage caused by FTC and SBC, which affects the mechanical properties. A corrosion rate of ≤3% offset the damage caused by 50 FTCs. FTCs and SBC resulted in superimposed damage effects on the concrete. In addition, we established a bond strength damage model based on the joint FTCs and SBC and quantitatively described the degradation law of the macro-mechanical properties. The analysis shows that the influence of FTCs on the bond strength was greater than that of the SBC. These research results can provide a reference and experimental support for the frost-resistant design and durability prediction of hydraulic concrete structures in cold environments. The Chinese BeiDou global satellite system (BDS-3) and regional system (BDS-2) are predicted to coexist over the next decade. Intersystem biases (ISBs) in BDS-2/BDS-3 play a key role in maintaining the consistency and continuity from the BDS-2 to BDS-3 time transfer. Here, we discuss the temporal characteristics, parameter composition, generation mechanism, and the effect of ISBs in BDS-2/BDS-3 on time and frequency transfer. The satellite orbits and clock products from three international GNSS service analysis centers, namely Wuhan University (WUM, China), GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam (GFZ, Germany), and the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe (CODE), were employed to investigate the time-transfer stability of ISBs when BDS-2 and BDS-3 were used in combination. We analyzed the intrinsic characteristics of ISBs, the receiver types, antennas, and frequency standards. Our first results showed that ISBs are stable for different analysis center products, although the mean values of daily results differed markedly for the three analysis centers. With respect to the relationship between station attribution and ISB difference for a time link, the receiver type, antenna, and frequency standard influence the ISB differences in time and frequency transfer. The effect of three ISB stochastic models was evaluated with respect to time and frequency transfer. In PPP-RTK, obtaining accurate atmospheric delay information for the user through interpolation is one of the keys to achieving high-precision real-time positioning. The ionospheric delay that is extracted by a reference network based on uncalibrated phase delay (UPD) products is often difficult to separate from errors such as receiver code hardware delay and UPD reference error. Inter-satellite single-difference (SD) ionospheric delay information is typically provided to the user. This paper proposes an interpolation model that uses the atmospheric delay coefficient to represent the SD ionospheric delay, based on the mean position of the ionospheric pierce point (IPP) of each satellite pair and the center position of the network, which is called the differenced surface model (DSM). We chose four scenarios to compare the interpolation accuracy of the proposed model with the inverse distance-based linear interpolation method (DIM) and USM based on the difference between the longitude and latitude of the reference and ionospheric pierce point (IPP) of every satellite (here, we call it USM for short). The four scenarios involve a medium-scale reference network with an average distance to the reference station of 41 km, a large-scale reference network with an average distance to the reference station of 98 km, and out-of-network users, and a network with a common minimum of three reference stations. The results show that the root mean square (RMS) of the SD residuals of ionospheric delay for DSM were 1.4, 3.2, 2.2, and 1.4 cm, respectively, for the four scenarios that were considered, which are slightly better delay values than those that were achieved using DIM and USM. For the scenario with three reference stations, the interpolation accuracies of DIM and DSM were no different from those for four reference stations, indicating that the server can still try to provide ionospheric correction service under the condition of fewer reference stations. In contrast, USM could not provide service because it lacked the sufficient number of reference stations. DSM was used as the ionospheric delay interpolation model to analyze GPS and Galileo dual-system PPP-RTK positioning performance. In addition, the atmospheric parameter constraint method of users was used in PPP-RTK in reference networks of different scales. For the 41-km and 98-km reference networks, the time to first fix (TTFF) were 14.5 s and 33.1 s, respectively, and the mean RMS values for the east (E), north (N), and up (U) directions were 0.80, 0.93, and 2.72 cm, respectively, and 1.0, 1.1, and 4.0 cm, respectively, for a period of 5 min after convergence. The fixing rate and positioning accuracy of DSM during the 5-min period were better than those of DIM when the same empirical model was used to determine the mean square error of atmospheric delay. Fish are indicative species with a relatively balanced ecosystem. Underwater target fish detection is of great significance to fishery resource investigations. Traditional investigation methods cannot meet the increasing requirements of environmental protection and investigation, and the existing target detection technology has few studies on the dynamic identification of underwater fish and small targets. To reduce environmental disturbances and solve the problems of many fish, dense, mutual occlusion and difficult detection of small targets, an improved CME-YOLOv5 network is proposed to detect fish in dense groups and small targets. First, the coordinate attention (CA) mechanism and cross-stage partial networks with 3 convolutions (C3) structure are fused into the C3CA module to replace the C3 module of the backbone in you only look once (YOLOv5) to improve the extraction of target feature information and detection accuracy. Second, the three detection layers are expanded to four, which enhances the model's ability to capture information in different dimensions and improves detection performance. Finally, the efficient intersection over union (EIOU) loss function is used instead of the generalized intersection over union (GIOU) loss function to optimize the convergence rate and location accuracy. Based on the actual image data and a small number of datasets obtained online, the experimental results showed that the mean average precision (mAP@0.50) of the proposed algorithm reached 94.9%, which is 4.4 percentage points higher than that of the YOLOv5 algorithm, and the number of fish and small target detection performances was 24.6% higher. The results show that our proposed algorithm exhibits good detection performance when applied to densely spaced fish and small targets and can be used as an alternative or supplemental method for fishery resource investigation. Precise point positioning (PPP) technology is one of the core technologies in the field of GNSS high-precision positioning. It is used widely because it can realize centimeter-level positioning in outdoor environments by using only a single receiver. However, its convergence is time-consuming, particularly in urban areas where satellite occlusion is more severe. A combined BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) and fifth generation mobile communication technology (5G) PPP observation model is proposed, in which the two kinds of observations are combined and solved at the original observation level. The impact of different numbers and geometries of 5G base stations on the convergence time of PPP is analyzed from both static and dynamic perspectives. The standard products of the International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) are mainly based on the two laser geodynamics satellites (LAGEOS) due to the sparse observations of the Etalon satellites. With improvements in the ability to track high-altitude satellites, ILRS conducted a 3-month Etalon tracking campaign. In this paper, we study the contribution of more Etalon observations in the new observation scenario to weekly ILRS products, such as station coordinates, Earth rotation parameters (ERPs) and satellite orbit. We compare the ILRS products estimated from LAGEOS-only solutions and LAGEOS+Etalon solutions. In the new observation scenario of 2019, the numbers of observations of Etalon satellites are 1.4 and 1.7 times larger than those in 2018. It is shown that the quality of station coordinates, and the satellite orbit of LAGESOS satellites are only slightly affected by the increase in Etalon observations of the campaign. However, for station 1868, which is dedicated to high-altitude satellites, the root mean square (RMS) values of the residuals in the N, E, and U components are improved by 3.1 cm, 2.1 cm and 2.3 cm, respectively. The internal precision of orbit for Etalon-1/2 satellites in tangle and normal directions are improved by 1.5 cm and 2.9 cm, respectively. Most remarkably, the standard deviations for Xp, Yp and LOD can be improved by 6.9%, 14.3% and 5.1%, respectively, compared with the International Earth Rotation System (IERS)-14-C04 series. In a reservoir area, impulsive landslide surges induced by slope failure may pose huge damage to the dam and the lives in the shoreline areas, which are greatly affected by river channel characteristics. In this study, water depth, the width of the water surface, and the bending angle of river channel were chosen as the main influencing factors. The numerical method was used to investigate the influence of river channel characteristics on wave propagation and the distribution of dynamic water pressure on the dam surface. The effect mechanism was analyzed, and a prediction model considering river channel characteristics for the propagation wave height was established. Results show that water depth and the bending angle of the river channel play a positive role in the attenuation of the energy carried by landslide surges. The width of the water level mainly influences the propagation of impulse waves in the far-field area. The river channel characteristics affect the value of the dynamic pressure on the dam surface but have a minor effect on dynamic pressure distribution. The nonlinear navigation payload transmission channel introduces errors at a system level, resulting in a distortion of the received signal and affecting differential positioning users. This work models the transmission channel of the navigation payload and uses the joint estimation algorithm to calculate the digital distortion and analog channel response of the transmission channel from the received signal. On the above basis, the algorithm and model are verified by GPS-L5 measured data, and the channel characteristics of GPS II and GPS III are deeply analyzed. The results show that the existing GPS IIF satellites have a digital distortion, which is negligible in GPS III satellites. Regarding the analog channel response, GPS III has better amplitude and group delay consistency than GPS II. Lastly, the ranging bias caused by the transmission channel of the navigation payload is provided to the user for reference, and GPS III is improved by approximately 0.02 m compared with GPS II. This study provides support for adjusting the satellite signal pre-distortion and enriches subsequent GNSS signal quality assessment work; it can also be used as a reference for differential positioning users. Bioinspired composites, capable of tailoring mechanical properties by the strategy of making full use of their advantages and bypassing their drawbacks, are vital for numerous engineering applications such as lightweight ultrahigh-strength, enhanced toughness, improved low-/high- velocity impact resistance, wave filtering, and energy harvesting. Helicoidal composites are examples of them. However, how to optimize the geometric structure to maximize the low-velocity impact resistance of helicoidal composites has been ignored, which is vital to the lightweight and high strength for aerospace, defense, ship, bridge, dam, vessel, and textile industries. Here, we combined experiments and numerical simulations to report the dynamic response of helicoidal composites subjected under low-velocity impact (0–10 m/s). Our helicoidal structures, inspired by the Stomatopod Dactyl club, are fabricated using polylactic acid (PLA) by FFF in a single-phase way. The helicoidal strategy aims to exploit, to a maximum extent, the axial tensile strength of filaments and simultaneously make up the shortage of inter-filament contact strength. We demonstrate experimentally that the low-velocity impact resistance has been enhanced efficiently as the helicoidal angle varies, and that the 15° helicoidal plate is better than others, which has also been confirmed by the numerical simulations. The findings reported here provide a new routine to design composites systems with enhanced impact resistance, offering a method to improve impact performance and expand the application of 3D printing. The design of a modern Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) has been exceptionally valued by the military and civilians of various countries. The inclusion of the pilot channel in addition to the navigation data channel is considered one of the major changes in GNSS modernization. Schemes of an equal weight combination (1:1 combination) and power ratio combination for data and pilot are primarily adopted by traditional receivers. With the emergence of the new data and pilot modulation signals with unequal power, such as L1C at Global Positioning System (GPS) L1 frequency and B1C at BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) B1 frequency, the traditional combination coefficient cannot achieve optimal reception performance. Considering the influence of the combination coefficient on the reception performance, the optimal coefficient of the correlator joint is estimated in this paper. The entire architecture of the data/pilot correlator joint tracking and positioning with unequal power is given. Based on the equivalence principle of the correlator joint and the discriminator joint, the optimal coefficient of the carrier loop is determined. A mathematical model of joint code tracking accuracy is established, and the optimal coefficient of the code loop is determined. The real-life satellite signal and simulation results show that the amplitude–ratio combined scheme is the best for receiving of correlator joints, followed by the power–ratio combination scheme and, finally, the 1:1 combination scheme. It is worth mentioning that the positioning accuracy of the amplitude–ratio combination is improved by 2% compared to the 1:1 combination, and by 1.3% compared to the power–ratio combination for B1C signal. The positioning accuracy of the amplitude–ratio combination is improved by 2.37% compared to the 1:1 combination, and by 1.6% compared to the power–ratio combination for L1C signal. The conclusions of this paper are validated for the traditional data/pilot with an equal power allocation. This work investigated concatenated coding schemes for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals in order to increase their error correction capability in urban environments. In particular, a serial concatenated code that combines an outer Reed–Solomon (RS) code with an inner low-density parity-check (LDPC) code was designed, and the performance was investigated over the land mobile satellite (LMS) channel for characterizing multipath and shadow fading in urban environments. The performance of the proposed concatenated coding scheme was compared to that of a B-CNAV1 message, in which two interleaved 64-ary LDPC codes were employed. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed concatenated code can obtain a similar error correction performance to the two interleaved 64-ary LDPC codes in both the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and LMS channels at a lower complexity level. It is important to determine the soil–water characteristic curve (SWCC) for analyzing landslide seepage under varying hydrodynamic conditions. However, the SWCC exhibits high uncertainty due to the variability inherent in soil. To this end, a Bayesian updating framework based on the experimental data was developed to investigate the uncertainty of the SWCC parameters in this study. The objectives of this research were to quantify the uncertainty embedded within the SWCC and determine the critical factors affecting an unsaturated soil landslide under hydrodynamic conditions. For this purpose, a large-scale landslide experiment was conducted, and the monitored water content data were collected. Steady-state seepage analysis was carried out using the finite element method (FEM) to simulate the slope behavior during water level change. In the proposed framework, the parameters of the SWCC model were treated as random variables and parameter uncertainties were evaluated using the Bayesian approach based on the Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method. Observed data from large-scale landslide experiments were used to calculate the posterior information of SWCC parameters. Then, 95% confidence intervals for the model parameters of the SWCC were derived. The results show that the Bayesian updating method is feasible for the monitoring of data of large-scale landslide model experiments. Cooperative localization under complex urban environments has become a solution able to replace Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning. Due to the lack of an efficient cooperative localization scheme, traditional cooperative vehicle networks result in high computational complexity and heavy communication overhead. In this paper, we concentrate on the cooperative localization design of a vehicle. This paper proposes a cooperative localization method based on evolutionary coalitional game theory to implement vehicle location estimation with a lower communication cost. We select the neighboring vehicles to form a coalition based on the node's square position error bound and communication cost. The location is obtained via exchanging information between vehicles. Utilizing the measured distance and information exchanged between two different nodes to cooperatively locate in a mobile network has become a solution to replace global navigation satellite system (GNSS) positioning. However, the localization accuracy of the belief propagation-based cooperative localization scheme is substantially influenced by the number of neighbors. In this paper, we propose a cooperative localization scheme combined with a trajectory tracking algorithm. With an insufficient number of neighbors, the trajectory tracking algorithm is utilized to participate in the positioning process of agents. Concretely, we carry out sensor information fusion and utilize quantum-behaved, particle-swarm-optimized, bidirectional long short-term memory (QPSO–BiLSTM) as a trajectory tracking strategy, to precisely predict the positions of agents. It is evident from simulations and results that the proposed cooperative localization scheme performs better than the belief propagation (BP)-based cooperative localization scheme in position error. The accuracy of time synchronization can be significantly increased by enhancing the performance of atomic clocks. Future-generation time-frequency loads will be equipped with the latest ultrahigh-precision atomic clocks (with a day stability better than 10−17) and will leverage advantages of the space environment such as microgravity and low interference to operate a new generation of high-performance time-frequency payloads on low-orbit spacecraft. Moreover, using the high-precision time-frequency system of ground stations, low-time-delay high-performance time-frequency transmission networks, which have the potential to achieve ultrahigh-precision time synchronization, will be constructed. By considering full link error terms above the picosecond level, this paper proposes a new space-to-ground microwave two-way time synchronization method for scenarios involving low-orbit spacecraft and ground stations. Using the theoretical principles and practical application scenarios related to this method, a theoretical and simulation verification platform was developed to research the impact of the attitude, phase center calibration, and orbit determination errors on the single-frequency two-way time synchronization method. The effectiveness of this new method was verified. The results showed that when the attitude error is less than 72 arc seconds (0.02°), the phase center calibration error is less than 1 mm, and the precision orbit determination (POD) error is less than 10 cm (three-axis). After disregarding nonlink error terms such as equipment noise, this method can attain a space-to-ground time synchronization accuracy of better than 1.5 ps, and the time deviation (TDEV) of the transfer link is better than 0.7 ps @ 100 s, which results in ultrahigh-precision space-to-ground time synchronization. The popularity of electric vehicles has been limited by factors such as range, long charging times and fast power failure in winter. In order to overcome these challenges, battery swapping stations (BSS) have been constructed and greatly promoted in recent years. In this paper, the related literature on electric vehicle service is reviewed and the co-occurrence of keywords is analyzed using CiteSpace. The literature is classified according to clustering results and recurring themes, such as the location of BSS, inventory decisions, charging strategies and BSS assignment. In each topic, typical optimization models and algorithms proposed in previous studies are summarized. Then, this paper gives a case about the business model and revenue capacity calculation of BSS. China is promoting the construction of an integrated positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) systems with the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) as its core. To expand the positioning coverage area and improve the positioning performance by taking advantage of device-to-device (D2D) and self-organizing network (SON) technology, a BDS/SON integrated positioning system is proposed for the fifth-generation (5G) networking environment. This system relies on a combination of time-of-arrival (TOA) and BeiDou pseudo-range measurements to effectively supplement BeiDou signal blind spots, expand the positioning coverage area, and realize higher precision in continuous navigation and positioning. By establishing the system state model, and addressing the single-system positioning divergence and insufficient accuracy, a robust adaptive fading filtering (RAF) algorithm based on the prediction residual is proposed to suppress gross errors and filtering divergence in order to improve the stability and accuracy of the positioning results. Subsequently, a federated Kalman filtering (FKF) algorithm operating in fusion-feedback mode is developed to centrally process the positioning information of the combined system. Considering that the prediction error can reflect the magnitude of the model error, an adaptive information distribution coefficient is introduced to further improve the filtering performance. Actual measurement and significance test results show that by integrating BDS and SON positioning data, the proposed algorithm realizes robust, reliable, and continuous high precision location services with anti-interference capabilities and good universality. It is applicable in scenarios involving unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous driving, military, public safety and other contexts and can even realize indoor positioning and other regional positioning tasks. Single-frequency (SF) receivers are much cheaper than that of dual-frequency (DF). Even though DF precise point positioning (PPP) is nowadays applied in the time community, the cost of equipment is one of the key considerations for time users. Furthermore, the hardware delay calibration of single-frequency devices is simpler than that of dual-frequency devices. In addition, there is no literature to study real-time SF PPP time transfer. In this contribution, the possibility of time transfer using SF PPP was studied. The Un-combined SF PPP was employed for time transfer with ionospheric-constraint using real-time precise products. In this case, 18 multi-GNSS experiment (MGEX) stations and one time lab station were used to study real-time SF PPP time transfer using GPS, Galileo and BDS-2/3 satellites with 20-day. The results suggested that real-time single-frequency PPP can meet time transfer. the standard deviation (STD) of the clock difference obtained from GPS-only, Galileo-only and BDS-2/3 single-frequency PPP are about (0.51, 0.54, 0.91) ns, respectively. The frequency stability of real-time single-frequency PPP can achieve (1E-12, 1E-13, 1E-13) level at short-term and (1E-13, 1E-13, 1E-14) level at long-term, respectively, for BDS-2/3, Galileo-only and GPS-only based. The technique of carrier phase (CP), based on the global navigation satellite system (GNSS), has proven to be a highly effective spatial tool in the field of time and frequency transfer with sub-nanosecond accuracy. The rapid development of real-time GNSS satellite orbit and clock determinations has enabled GNSS time and frequency transfer using the CP technique to be performed in real-time mode, without any issues associated with latency. In this contribution, we preliminarily built the prototype system of real-time multi-GNSS time and frequency transfer service in National Time Service Center (NTSC) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), which undertakes the task to generate, maintains and transmits the national standard of time and frequency UTC(NTSC). The comprehensive assessment of the availability and quality of the service system were provided. First, we assessed the multi-GNSS state space representation (SSR) correction generated in real-time multi-GNSS prototype system by combining broadcast ephemeris through a comparison with the GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ) final products. The statistical results showed that the orbit precision in three directions was smaller than 6 cm for global positioning system (GPS) and smaller than approximately 10 cm for BeiDou satellite system (BDS). The root mean square (RMS) values of clock differences for GPS were approximately 2.74 and 6.74 ns for the GEO constellation of BDS, 3.24 ns for IGSO, and 1.39 ns for MEO. The addition, the GLObal NAvigation Satellite System (GLONASS) and Galileo satellite navigation system (Galileo) were 4.34 and 1.32 ns, respectively. In order to assess the performance of real-time multi-GNSS time and frequency transfer in a prototype system, the four real-time time transfer links, which used UTC(NTSC) as the reference, were employed to evaluate the performance by comparing with the solution determined using the GFZ final products. The RMS could reach sub-nanosecond accuracy in the two solutions, either in the SSR or GFZ solution, or in GPS, BDS, GLONASS, and Galileo. The frequency stability within 10,000 s was 3.52 × 10−12 for SSR and 3.47 × 10−12 for GFZ and GPS, 3.63 × 10−12 for SSR and 3.53 × 10−12 for GFZ for BDS, 3.57 × 10−12 for SSR and 3.52 × 10−12 for GFZ for GLONASS, and 3.56 × 10−12 for SSR and 3.48 × 10−12 for GFZ for Galileo. An ultrahigh precise clock (space optical clock) will be installed onboard a low-orbit spacecraft (a usual expression for a low-orbit satellite operating on an orbit at an altitude of less than 1000 km) in the future, which will be expected to obtain better time-frequency performance in a microgravity environment, and provide the possible realization of ultrahigh precise long-range time synchronization. The advancement of the microwave two-way time synchronization method can offer an effective solution for developing time-frequency transfer technology. In this study, we focus on a method of precise satellite-ground two-way time synchronization and present their key aspects. For reducing the relativistic effects on two-way precise time synchronization, we propose a high-precision correction method. We show the results of tests using simulated data with fully realistic effects such as atmospheric delays, orbit errors, and earth gravity, and demonstrate the satisfactory performance of the methods. The accuracy of the relativistic error correction method is investigated in terms of the spacecraft attitude error, phase center calibration error (the residual error after calibrating phase center offset), and precise orbit determination (POD) error. The results show that the phase center calibration error and POD error contribute greatly to the residual of relativistic correction, at approximately 0.1~0.3 ps, and time synchronization accuracy better than 0.6 ps can be achieved with our proposed methods. In conclusion, the relativistic error correction method is effective, and the satellite-ground two-way precise time synchronization method yields more accurate results. The results of Beidou two-way time synchronization system can only achieve sub-ns accuracy, while the final accuracy obtained by the methods in this paper can improved to ps-level. The modernized GPS, Galileo, and BeiDou global navigation satellite system (BDS3) offers new potential for time transfer using overlap-frequency (L1/E1/B1, L5/E5a/B2a) observations. To assess the performance of time and frequency transfer with overlap-frequency observations for GPS, Galileo, and BDS3, the mathematical models of single- and dual-frequency using the carrier-phase (CP) technique are discussed and presented. For the single-frequency CP model, the three-day average RMS values of the L5/E5a/B2a clock difference series were 0.218 ns for Galileo and 0.263 ns for BDS3, of which the improvements were 36.2% for Galileo and 43.9% for BDS3 when compared with the L1/E1/B1 solution at BRUX–PTBB. For the hydrogen–cesium time link BRUX–KIRU, the RMS values of the L5/E5a/B2a solution were 0.490 ns for Galileo and 0.608 ns for BDS3, improving Galileo by 6.4% and BDS3 by 12.5% when compared with the L1/E1/B1 solution. For the dual-frequency CP model, the average stability values of the L5/E5a/B2a solution at the BRUX–PTBB time link were 3.54 × 10−12 for GPS, 2.20 × 10−12 for Galileo, and 2.69 × 10−12 for BDS3, of which the improvements were 21.0%, 45.1%, and 52.3%, respectively, when compared with the L1/E1/B1 solution. A quality evaluation of precise products for BDS-3 constellations is presented for the first time in this contribution. Then, the tropospheric delay retrieval and positioning performance of BDS-3 precise point positioning (PPP) solutions using the precise products (gbm, wum, iac, sha, cnt) with observations from 24 stations from DOY 280 to 317 in 2020 was comprehensively investigated. The orbit comparisons present consistencies of 0.09–0.22 m for the C19–C37 satellites and of 0.5–1.2 m for the C38–C46 satellites among the final products. The standard deviation (STD) values of the clock differences of iac showed the best agreement with those of gbm, followed by wum, sha. The clock differences performance of cnt was the worst. For BDS-3 PPP solutions with five Analysis centers (ACs) products, the median convergence times of static PPP mode incorporating the gbm, wum, iac, sha, and cnt products were 31.0, 33.5, 34.5, 37.8, and 72.0 min, respectively; the median convergence times of kinematic PPP model incorporating the same products were 40.5, 41.0, 50.5, 55.0, and 94.0 min, respectively. The positioning accuracies in the static and kinematic modes were approximately 1–4 cm, 2–6 cm in the horizontal and vertical components, respectively. With the final products in kinematic mode, the performance of PPP with real-time products (cnt) is poorer than all PPP with final products. The median of ZTD accuracies of the five products gbm, wum, iac, sha, and cnt were 7.84, 7.58, 7.04, 7.19, and 10.1 mm, respectively, and the accuracy differences were very small among five AC products (gbm, wum, iac, sha). With the development of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), multiple signals modulated on different sub-carriers are needed to provide various services and to ensure compatibility with previous signals. As an effective method to provide diversified signals without introducing the nonlinear distortion of High Power Amplifier (HPA), the multi-carrier constant envelope multiplexing is widely used in satellite navigation systems. However, the previous method does not consider the influence of sub-carrier frequency constraint on the multiplexing signal, which may lead to signal power leakage. By determining the signal states probability according to the sub-carrier frequency constraint and solving the orthogonal bases according to the homogeneous equations, this article proposed multi-carrier constant envelope multiplexing methods based on probability and homogeneous equations. The analysis results show that the methods can multiplex multi-carrier signals without power leakage, thereby reducing the impact on signal ranging performance. Meanwhile, the methods could reduce the computation complexity. In the case of three different carriers multiplexing, the number of optimization equations is reduced by nearly 66%. The high precision positioning can be easily achieved by using real-time kinematic (RTK) and precise point positioning (PPP) or their augmented techniques, such as network RTK (NRTK) and PPP-RTK, even if they also have their own shortfalls. A reference station and datalink are required for RTK or NRTK. Though the PPP technique can provide high accuracy position data, it needs an initialisation time of 10–30 min. The time-relative positioning method estimates the difference between positions at two epochs by means of a single receiver, which can overcome these issues within short period to some degree. The positioning error significantly increases for long-period precise positioning as consequence of the variation of various errors in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) measurements over time. Furthermore, the accuracy of traditional time-relative positioning is very sensitive to the initial positioning error. In order to overcome these issues, an improved time-relative positioning algorithm is proposed in this paper. The improved time-relative positioning method employs PPP model to estimate the parameters of current epoch including position vector, float ionosphere-free (IF) ambiguities, so that these estimated float IF ambiguities are used as a constraint of the base epoch. Thus, the position of the base epoch can be estimated by means of a robust Kalman filter, so that the position of the current epoch with reference to the base epoch can be obtained by differencing the position vectors between the base epoch and the current one. The numerical results obtained during static and dynamic tests show that the proposed positioning algorithm can achieve a positioning accuracy of a few centimetres in one hour. As expected, the positioning accuracy is highly improved by combining GPS, BeiDou and Galileo as a consequence of a higher amount of used satellites and a more uniform geometrical distribution of the satellites themselves. Furthermore, the positioning accuracy achieved by using the positioning algorithm here described is not affected by the initial positioning error, because there is no approximation similar to that of the traditional time-relative positioning. The orbital maneuvers of the global navigation satellite system (GNSSs) have a significant influence on the performance of the precise positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services. Because the Chinese BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) has three types of satellites in the geostationary orbit (GEO), inclined geosynchronous orbit (IGSO), and medium earth orbit (MEO) maneuvers occur more frequently. Thus, it is essential to determine an effective approach for the detection of orbital maneuvers. This study proposes a method for the detection of orbital maneuvers using epoch-differenced carrier phase observations and broadcast ephemeris data. When using the epoch-differenced velocity estimation as a basic data solution model, the time discrimination and satellite identification factors are defined and used for the real-time detection of the beginning and the pseudorandom noise code (PRN) of satellites. The datasets from four GNSS stations (WUH1, BJF1, POHN, CUT0) from the year 2016 were collected and analyzed. The validations showed that the beginning, the PRN of the orbital maneuver of the satellite can be precisely detected in real time for all GEO, IGSO, and MEO satellites, and the detected results also showed good consistency, with the beginning time at a difference of 1–2 min across different stations. The proposed approach was observed to be more sensitive, and the detected beginning time was about 30 min earlier than the single point positioning approach when the high-precision carrier phase observation was used. Thus, orbital maneuvering can be accurately detected by the proposed method. It not only improves the utilization of the collected data but also improves the performance of PNT services. The Expectation-Maximization algorithm is adapted to the extended Kalman filter to multiple GNSS Precise Point Positioning (PPP), named EM-PPP. EM-PPP considers better the compatibility of multiple GNSS data processing and characteristics of receiver motion, targeting to calibrate the process noise matrix Qt and observation matrix Rt, having influence on PPP convergence time and precision, with other parameters. It is possibly a feasible way to estimate a large number of parameters to a certain extent for its simplicity and easy implementation. We also compare EM-algorithm with other methods like least-squares (co)variance component estimation (LS-VCE), maximum likelihood estimation (MLE), showing that EM-algorithm from restricted maximum likelihood (REML) will be identical to LS-VCE if certain weight matrix is chosen for LS-VCE. To assess the performance of the approach, daily observations from a network of 14 globally distributed International GNSS Service (IGS) multi-GNSS stations were processed using ionosphere-free combinations. The stations were assumed to be in kinematic motion with initial random walk noise of 1 mm every 30 s. The initial standard deviations for ionosphere-free code and carrier phase measurements are set to 3 m and 0.03 m, respectively, independent of the satellite elevation angle. It is shown that the calibrated Rt agrees well with observation residuals, reflecting effects of the accuracy of different satellite precise product and receiver-satellite geometry variations, and effectively resisting outliers. The calibrated Qt converges to its true value after about 50 iterations in our case. A kinematic test was also performed to derive 1 Hz GPS displacements, showing the RMSs and STDs w.r.t. real-time kinematic (RTK) are improved and the proper Qt is found out at the same time. According to our analysis despite the criticism that EM-PPP is very time-consuming because a large number of parameters are calculated and the first-order convergence of EM-algorithm, it is a numerically stable and simple approach to consider the temporal nature of state-space model of PPP, in particular when Qt and Rt are not known well, its performance without fixing ambiguities can even parallel to traditional PPP-RTK. The satellite-induced code bias variation of geostationary satellite orbit satellites and medium earth orbit satellites of the second-generation BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS-2) exceeds 1 m, which severely affects the accuracy and stability of the ambiguity resolution and high-precision positioning. With the development of the third-generation BDS (BDS-3) with a new system design and new technology, analysis of the satellite-induced code variation characteristics of BDS-3 has become increasingly important. At present, many scholars have explored the satellite-induced code bias of BDS-3, but most of them focus on BDS-3 experimental satellites via normal geodetic antenna. Compared to normal geodetic antenna, the 40-m dish antenna from the National Time Service Center can accurately detect satellite-induced code variations with low noise and high gain. Thus, observational data from fifteen BDS-3 medium earth orbit satellites are collected with the B1I/B2b/B3I/B1C/B2a frequency bands on the day of year (DOY) 199–206 in 2019, the PRN numbers of which are C19/C20/C21/C22/C23/C24/C25/C26/C27/C28/C30/C32/C33 /C35/C37, via the 40 m dish antenna to analyze the code bias variation characteristics. The results show that the obvious satellite-induced elevation‑dependent code bias variations exist in the B1I/B2b/B3I/B1C/B2a frequency bands of C28, compared with other satellites. Similarly, the multipath (MP) combination of B3I has an obvious elevation‑dependent variation within a range of 0.1 m for C21/C24/C27/C28/C37 and elevation‑dependent variation of the B2a and B2b frequency bands also exists in most satellites with a range of 0.1 m. However, the MP combination values of some satellites are asymmetric with respect to elevation, which is different from BDS-2 satellites and especially obvious for BDS-3 satellites B1I and BIC frequency bands with elevation‑dependent variations of 0.2 m, indicating that the code bias variation is not uniquely related to elevation, especially for the B1I/BIC frequency bands. What's more, the satellite-induced code bias variation of the BDS-3 satellites is greatly reduced compared with that of the BDS-2 satellites. In addition, the similar code bias variation appears at the Xia1 station with a normal geodetic antenna of B1I/B1C/B3I/B2a/B2b of C21, B3I/B2a/B2b of C24 and B2b of C28 among B1I/B1C/B3I/B2a/B2b of C21/C24/C27/C28/C37. The influence of the BDS-3 satellite-induced elevation‑dependent code bias on precision positioning and ambiguity fixing is worth further study using different antennas or receivers. To avoid signal interference in L1 frequency and provide various services, GPS has updated a modern signal, called L1C, which has been tested with three QZSS satellites launched in 2017. In December 2018, the first GPS III satellite was launched, which implies improved joint positioning using GPS and QZSS L1C signal. The L1C signal offers a series of advanced designs in signal modulation, message structure and coding. We present complete methodologies for joint L1C signal receiving and processing. For the transmitted signals, we present a methodology and results from collecting and assessing Binary Offset Carrier (BOC) modulation and time-multiplexed BOC (TMBOC) modulation used in the L1C signal. Using the same omnidirectional antenna and test equipment, we collected the L1C signal in Xi'an and Sanya, China, respectively. The experiments in Xi'an verify the joint positioning method to complement the GPS III and QZSS satellite constellations. Our methodology evaluates the ranging difference and positioning error of BOC and TMBOC modulation under the same environment and satellite constellation configuration in Sanya. Demand for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) applications in the urban environment has experienced a remarkable growth in recent years. However, the received signals are subjected to various urban channel impairments, like shadowing and multipath fading. Therefore, the decoding performance is different from that in open-sky conditions. In this paper, a two-state Land Mobile Satellite (LMS) channel based on the Markov process is used to model the urban channel properties, and then, the analysis of decoding performance in terms of frame error rate (FER) in the LMS channel is performed by evaluating the effect of three major influencing factors, specifically, coding and interleaving in the GNSS message, terminal speed, and satellite elevation angle. Extensive simulations are conducted on BDS-3 B1C B-CNAV1 message and GALILEO E5a F/NAV message. The results validate the excellent error correcting performance of the nonbinary low density parity check (NB-LDPC) code of the B-CNAV1 message and the effectiveness of interleaving in both of the messages in urban condition. Furthermore, it also shows that decoding performance improvement can be achieved with higher terminal speed and higher elevation angle in urban scenarios. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study, a real-time earthquake monitoring system based on the integration of single-frequency global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and strong motion (SM) observations was developed. This high-precision integrated system can provide full-frequency monitoring information, and it makes full use of SM data to quickly and accurately determine the vibration window for initial baseline shift correction. High-precision displacement data obtained from GNSS epoch-differenced velocity estimation are used to constrain the SM’s low-frequency baseline shift. Hence, full-frequency monitoring information (displacement, velocity, and acceleration) can be provided in real-time. The high precision positioning can be easily achieved by using real-time kinematic (RTK) and precise point positioning (PPP) or their augmented techniques, such as network RTK (NRTK) and PPP-RTK, even if they also have their own shortfalls. A reference station and datalink are required for RTK or NRTK. Though the PPP technique can provide high accuracy position data, it needs an initialisation time of 10-30 min. The time-relative positioning method estimates the difference between positions at two epochs by means of a single receiver, which can overcome these issues within short period to some degree. The positioning error significantly increases for long-period precise positioning as consequence of the variation of various errors in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) measurements over time. Furthermore, the accuracy of traditional time-relative positioning is very sensitive to the initial positioning error. In order to overcome these issues, an improved time-relative positioning algorithm is proposed in this paper. The improved time-relative positioning method employs PPP model to estimate the parameters of current epoch including position vector, float ionosphere-free (IF) ambiguities, so that these estimated float IF ambiguities are used as a constraint of the base epoch. Thus, the position of the base epoch can be estimated by means of a robust Kalman filter, so that the position of the current epoch with reference to the base epoch can be obtained by differencing the position vectors between the base epoch and the current one. The numerical results obtained during static and dynamic tests show that the proposed positioning algorithm can achieve a positioning accuracy of a few centimetres in one hour. As expected, the positioning accuracy is highly improved by combining GPS, BeiDou and Galileo as a consequence of a higher amount of used satellites and a more uniform geometrical distribution of the satellites themselves. Furthermore, the positioning accuracy achieved by using the positioning algorithm here described is not affected by the initial positioning error, because there is no approximation similar to that of the traditional time-relative positioning. The improved time-relative positioning method can be used to provide long-period high precision positioning by using a single dual-frequency (L1/L2) satellite receiver.

This study proposes two models for precise time transfer using the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System triple-frequency signals: ionosphere-free (IF) combined precise point positioning (PPP) model with two dual-frequency combinations (IF-PPP1) and ionosphere-free combined PPP model with a single triple-frequency combination (IF-PPP2). A dataset with a short baseline (with a common external time frequency) and a long baseline are used for performance assessments. The results show that IF-PPP1 and IF-PPP2 models can both be used for precise time transfer using BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) triple-frequency signals, and the accuracy and stability of time transfer is the same in both cases, except for a constant system bias caused by the hardware delay of different frequencies, which can be removed by the parameter estimation and prediction with long time datasets or by a priori calibration., Competing Interests: The authors declare no conflict of interest.

In this study, a unified model for BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) wide area and local area augmentation positioning based on raw observations has been proposed. Applying this model, both the Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) and Precise Point Positioning (PPP) service can be realized by performing different corrections at the user end. This algorithm was assessed and validated with the BDS data collected at four regional stations from Day of Year (DOY) 080 to 083 of 2016. When the users are located within the local reference network, the fast and high precision RTK service can be achieved using the regional observation corrections, revealing a convergence time of about several seconds and a precision of about 2-3 cm. For the users out of the regional reference network, the global broadcast State-Space Represented (SSR) corrections can be utilized to realize the global PPP service which shows a convergence time of about 25 min for achieving an accuracy of 10 cm. With this unified model, it can not only integrate the Network RTK (NRTK) and PPP into a seamless positioning service, but also recover the ionosphere Vertical Total Electronic Content (VTEC) and Differential Code Bias (DCB) values that are useful for the ionosphere monitoring and modeling.
