The article provides information related to the signaling processes in neuron cells. It is stated that serotonin, neurotransmitter controls several aspects of neuronal cell differentiation. It is further stated that the activation of serotonin 5-HT[7] receptor enhances activity of hippocampal neurons at postnatal stages of development and it also promotes synaptogenesis in nervous system.
