Peer reviews form an essential part of scientific communication. Scholarly peer review is probably the most accepted way to evaluate research papers by involving multiple experts to review the concerned research independently. Usually, the area chair, the program chair, or the editor takes a call weighing the reviewer's judgments. It communicates the decision to the author via writing a meta-review by summarizing the review comments. With the exponential rise in research paper submissions and the corresponding rise in the reviewer pool, it becomes stressful for the chairs/editors to manage conflicts, arrive at a consensus, and also write an informative meta-review. Here in this work, we propose a novel deep neural network-based approach for generating meta-reviews in an unsupervised fashion. To generate consistent meta-reviews, we use a generic template where the task is like to slot-fill the template with the generated meta-review text. We consider the setting where only peer reviews with no summaries or meta-reviews are provided and propose an end-to-end neural network model to perform unsupervised opinion-based abstractive summarization. We first use an aspect-based sentiment analysis model, which classifies the review sentences with the corresponding aspects (e.g., novelty, substance, soundness, etc.) and sentiment. We then extract opinion phrases from reviews for the corresponding aspect and sentiment labels. Next, we train a transformer model to reconstruct the original reviews from these extraction. Finally, we filter the selected opinions according to their aspect and/or sentiment at the time of summarization. The selected opinions of each aspect are used as input to the trained Transformer model, which uses them to construct an opinion summary. The idea is to give a concise meta-review that maximizes information coverage by focusing on aspects and sentiment present in the review, coherence, readability, and redundancy. We evaluate our model on the human written template-based meta-reviews to show that our framework outperforms competitive baselines. We believe that the template-based meta-review generation focusing on aspect and sentiment will help the editor/chair in decision-making and assist the meta-reviewer in writing better and more informative meta-reviews. Code smells violate software development principles that make the software more prone to errors and changes. Researchers have developed code smell detectors using manual and semi-automatic methods to identify these issues. However, three key challenges have limited the practical use of these detectors: developers' subjective perceptions of code smells, lack of consensus in the detection process, and difficulty in setting appropriate detection thresholds. While code smell detection using machine learning has progressed significantly, there still appears to be a gap in understanding the effective utilization of deep learning (DL) approaches. This paper aims to review and identify current methods for code smell detection using DL techniques. A systematic literature review is conducted on 35 primary studies from a collection of 8739 publications between 2013 and the present. The analysis reveals that common code smells detected include Feature Envy, God Classes, Long Methods, Complex Classes, and Large Classes. The most popular DL algorithms used are Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), often combined with other techniques for better results. Weld seam detection is an important part of automated welding. At present, few studies have been conducted on annular weld seams, and a lot of defects exist in the point cloud model of the tube sheet obtained by RGB-D cameras and photography methods. Aiming at the above problems, this paper proposed an annular weld seam detection network named WeldNet where a voxel feature encoding layer was adaptively improved for annular weld seams, the sparse convolutional network and region proposal network (RPN) were used to detect annular weld seam position, and an annular weld seam detection loss function was designed. Further, an annular weld seam dataset was established to train the network. Compared with the random sampling consistency (RANSAC) method, WeldNet has a higher detection accuracy, as well as a higher detection success rate which has increased by 23%. Logistics parcel detection technology is critical for unmanned sorting. YOLOv5, the state-of-the-art (SOTA) object detection model, is a classic network widely used in engineering. However, on the premise of fast and accurate detection of logistics parcels, it confronts certain challenges of high computing load and parameter quantity. To address these issues, this paper proposes a two-scale lightweight deep learning model named SFYOLOv5. In this article, a lightweight feature extraction module called Pruned-Shuffle-Block (PSB) is proposed. Meanwhile, a double-layer pyramid structure for the medium and large target detection is created in accordance with the image size distribution of logistics parcels. With this structure, the Floating Point of Operations (FLOPs) and parameters in feature extraction were significantly reduced. In addition, a down sampling module named Focus for Downsampling (FFD) is designed and attention modules are introduced to extract high-level semantic information in logistics parcels. These modules not only compensate for the loss caused by down sampling but also improve the mean Average Precision (mAP). Finally, the comparison experiment is performed by using the self-built logistics parcel dataset. The results show that the mAP of the model reaches 99.1%, the number of model parameters decreased by 92.14%, and the FLOPs decreased by 89.57% compared with the existing SOTA model. Traffic sign recognition, as one of the key steps of intelligent driving technologies, effectively avoids most traffic accidents by detecting the location and type of traffic signs in real time and providing the information to drivers or autonomous vehicles promptly. In addition, edge devices close to users has become an inevitable requirement for the development of IoT technology, real-time computing and the realization of network edge intelligence. Nowadays, the YOLO algorithm in object detection, developed to YOLOv8, is accompanied by various lightweight networks and lightweight methods to win by "fast", so this paper will propose an algorithm, fusing Ghost module and Efficient Multi-Scale Attention Module into YOLOv8, so that the model can improve the computing speed while maintaining the original characteristics. Furthermore, we choose Raspberry Pi as the object detection device due to its many characteristics such as lightweight, low power consumption. Through experiments, the model is trained on CCTSDB dataset, and the improved algorithm is tested on Raspberry Pi 4B. The results show that for three types of traffic signs, namely prohibited, indication and warning, the recognition accuracy mAP reaches 93.5% on the poor weather test set and 82.9% on the original test set, and the inference delay of Raspberry Pi reaches 0.79 s, which is effective in actual road test experiments. The improved model's accuracy has increased by 6.4% and 3.8% on two separate test sets compared to the original model, while the detection time has been reduced by 0.12 s. How to represent image information more effectively is the key to the task of image caption. In the existing research, a large number of image caption methods are proposed. Most of them use the global information of the image, and the information in the image that is not related to the caption generation also participates in the calculation, caused a certain amount of waste of resources. In order to solve this problem, a method of generating image caption based on object detection is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the object detection algorithm is used to extract image feature, only the features of meaningful regions in the image are used, and then image caption is generated by combining the spatial attention mechanism with the caption generation network. Experiments show that the image feature of the object region and the salient region are sufficient to represent the information of the entire image in the image caption task. For better convergence of the model, this paper also uses a new strategy for model training. Clinical reports show that COVID-19 disease has impacts on the cardiovascular system in addition to the respiratory system. Available COVID-19 diagnostic methods have been shown to have limitations. In addition to current diagnostic methods such as low-sensitivity standard RT-PCR tests and expensive medical imaging devices, the development of alternative methods for the diagnosis of COVID-19 disease would be beneficial for control of the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, it is important to quickly and accurately detect abnormalities caused by COVID-19 on the cardiovascular system via ECG. In this study, the diagnosis of COVID-19 disease is proposed using a novel deep Convolutional Neural Network model by using only ECG trace images created from ECG signals of COVID-19 infected patients based on the abnormalities caused by the COVID-19 virus on the cardiovascular system. An overall classification accuracy of 98.57%, 93.20%, 96.74% and AUC value of 0.9966, 0.9771, 0.9905 is achieved for COVID-19 vs. Normal, COVID-19 vs. Abnormal Heartbeats, COVID-19 vs. Myocardial Infarction binary classification tasks, respectively. In addition, an overall classification accuracy of 86.55% and 83.05% is achieved for COVID-19 vs. Abnormal Heartbeats vs. Myocardial Infarction and Normal vs. COVID-19 vs. Abnormal Heartbeats vs. Myocardial Infarction multi-classification tasks. With the rapid development of deep learning technology, an increasing number of people are adopting palmprint recognition algorithms based on deep learning for identity authentication. However, these algorithms are susceptible to factors such as palm placement, light source, and insufficient data sampling, resulting in poor recognition accuracy. To address these issues, this paper proposes a new end-to-end deep palmprint recognition algorithm (SSLAUL), which introduces self-supervised representation learning based on contextual prediction, utilizing unlabeled palmprint data for pre-training before introducing the trained parameters into the downstream model for fine-tuning. An uncertainty loss function is introduced into the downstream model, using the homoskedastic uncertainty as a benchmark to do adaptive weight adjustment for different loss functions dynamically. Channel and spatial attention mechanisms are also introduced to extract highly discriminative local features. In this paper, a method based on transfer learning is proposed to recover the three-dimensional shape of cultural relics faces from a single old photo. It can simultaneously reconstruct the three-dimensional facial structure and align the texture of the cultural relics with fewer training samples. The UV position map is used to represent the three-dimensional shape in space and act as the output of the network. A convolutional neural network is used to reconstruct the UV position map from a single 2D image. In the training process, the human face data is used for pre-training, and then a small amount of artifact data is used for fine-tuning. A deep learning model with strong generalization ability is trained with fewer artifact data, and a three-dimensional model of the cultural relic face can be reconstructed from a single old photograph. The methods can train more complex deep networks without a large amount of cultural relic data, and no over-fitting phenomenon occurs, which effectively solves the problem of fewer cultural relic samples. The method is verified by restoring a Chinese Terracotta Warrior with facial cracks and a Buddha with a broken nose. Other applications can be used in the fields such as texture recovery, facial feature extraction, and three-dimensional model estimation of the damaged cultural relics or sculptures in the photos. Recently, image inpainting techniques tend to be more concerned with how to enhance the quality of restoration than with how to function on various platforms with limited processing power. In this paper, we propose a lightweight method that combines group convolution and attention mechanism to improve or replace the traditional convolution module. Group convolution was used to achieve multi-level image inpainting, and the authors proposed the rotating attention mechanism for allocation to deal with the issue of information mobility between channels in traditional convolution processing. The parallel discriminator structure was utilized throughout the network's overall design phase to guarantee both local and global consistency of the image inpainting process. The experimental results can demonstrate that, while the quality of image inpainting has been ensured, the proposed image inpainting network's inference time and resource usage are significantly lower than those of comparable lightweight approaches. The massive number of research articles on the Web makes it troublesome for researchers to identify related works that could meet their preferences and interests. Consequently, various network representation learning-based models have been proposed to produce citation recommendations. Nevertheless, these models do not exploit semantic relations and contextual information between the objects of bibliographic papers' networks, which can result in inadequate citation recommendations. Moreover, existing citation recommendation methods face problems such as lack of personalization, cold-start, and network sparsity. To mitigate such problems and produce individualized citation recommendations, we propose a heterogeneous network embedding model that jointly learns node representations by exploiting semantics corresponding to the author, time, context, field of study, citations, and topics. Compared to baseline models, the results produced by the proposed model over the DBLP datasets prove 10% and 12% improvement on mean average precision (MAP) and normalized discounted cumulative gain (nDCG@10) metrics, respectively. Also, the effectiveness of our model is analyzed on the cold-start papers and network sparsity problems, where it gains 12% and 9% better MAP and recall@10 scores, respectively. This study proposes an innovative deep learning algorithm for pose estimation based on point clouds, aimed at addressing the challenges of pose estimation for objects affected by the environment. Previous research on using deep learning for pose estimation has primarily been conducted using RGB-D data. This paper introduces an algorithm that utilizes point cloud data for deep learning-based pose computation. The algorithm builds upon previous work by integrating PointNet + + technology and the classical Point Pair Features algorithm, achieving accurate pose estimation for objects across different scene scales. Additionally, an adaptive parameter-density clustering method suitable for point clouds is introduced, effectively segmenting clusters in varying point cloud density environments. This resolves the complex issue of parameter determination for density clustering in different point cloud environments and enhances the robustness of clustering. Furthermore, the LineMod dataset is transformed into a point cloud dataset, and experiments are conducted on the transformed dataset to achieve promising results with our algorithm. Many sensitive applications require that data remain confidential and undisclosed, even for intrusion detection objectives. For this purpose, the detection of anomalies in encrypted data has become increasingly vital. Deep learning models are becoming good tools to detect anomalies in encrypted data without the need to pass through data decryption. This paper presents a systematic review focusing on the advancements made in deep learning models for intrusion detection over encrypted data with privacy preservation. This study aims to guide researchers on how to select the right tools to set up an intrusion detection system over encrypted data with privacy preservation. The study presented the context and challenges of intrusion detection on encrypted data and how machine learning-based solutions can circumvent these challenges. The paper looks at recently proposed solutions, examines metrics for assessing model performance, and evaluates frequently used reference datasets. Deep learning models are also evaluated with statistics on the most frequent models, datasets, and encryption tools. The performance metrics of the studied solutions are investigated as a function of the encryption tools, the deployed deep learning models, the privacy preservation tools, the deployed datasets, and the eventual additional tools and algorithms. Covid-19 infection influenced the screening test rate of breast cancer worldwide due to the quarantine measures, routine procedures reduction, and delay of early diagnosis, causing high mortality risk and severity of the disease. X-ray mammography is the gold standard for diagnosing early signs of breast cancer, and Artificial Intelligence enables the detection of suspicious lesions and classifying them in terms of malignancy. This paper aimed to investigate mass detection and classification in a large-scale OPTIMAM dataset with 6000 cases and extracted 3524 images with masses in the mammograms of the Hologic manufacturer. The methodology of the detection step is to train the RetinaNet architecture of ResNet50, ResNet101, and ResNet152 backbones with three types of initializations by ImageNet and COCO weights and from scratch. The dataset was pre-processed to generate two types of input with entire mammograms and patches, which are stated as the first and the second approaches. The results show that in the first approach, RetinaNet of ResNet50 backbone with ImageNet and COCO weights and ResNet152 with the same weights performed 0.91 True Positive Rate at 0.78 False Positive Per Image, respectively. In contrast, in the second approach, ResNet152 with ImageNet weights reached 0.88 TPR at 0.78 FPPI. In the classification step, the Transfer Learning approach was applied with fine-tuning by adding L2-regularization and class weights to balance class distribution in the datasets. With the expansion of power transmission line scale, the surrounding environment is complex and susceptible to foreign objects, severely threatening its safe operation. The current algorithm lacks stability and real-time performance in small target detection and severe weather conditions. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for detecting foreign objects on power transmission lines under severe weather conditions based on AdaptoMixNet. First, an Adaptive Fusion Module (AFM) is introduced, which improves the model's accuracy and adaptability through multi-scale feature extraction, fine-grained information preservation, and enhancing context information. Second, an Adaptive Feature Pyramid Module (AEFPM) is proposed, which enhances the focus on local details while preserving global information, improving the stability and robustness of feature representation. Finally, the Neuron Expansion Recursion Adaptive Filter (CARAFE) is designed, which enhances feature extraction, adaptive filtering, and recursive mechanisms, improving detection accuracy, robustness, and computational efficiency. In recent years, the exploration of knowledge in large-scale human mobility has gained significant attention. In order to achieve a semantic understanding of human behavior and uncover patterns in large-scale human mobility, Named Entity Recognition (NER) is a crucial technology. The rapid advancements in IoT and CPS technologies have led to the collection of massive human mobility data from various sources. Therefore, there's a need for Cross-domain NER which can transfer entity information from the source domain to automatically identify and classify entities in different target domain texts. In the situation of the data-poor, how could we transfer human mobility knowledge over time and space is particularly significant, therefore this paper proposes an Adaptive Text Sequence Enhancement Module (at-SAM) to help the model enhance the association between entities in sentences in the data-poor target domains. This paper also proposes a Predicted Label-Guided Dual Sequence Aware Information Module (Dual-SAM) to improve the transferability of label information. This paper proposes a novel multi-view ensemble predictor model that is designed to address the challenge of determining synergistic drug combinations by predicting both the synergy score value values and synergy class label of drug combinations with cancer cell lines. The proposed methodology involves representing drug features through four distinct views: Simplified Molecular-Input Line-Entry System (SMILES) features, molecular graph features, fingerprint features, and drug-target features. On the other hand, cell line features are captured through four views: gene expression features, copy number features, mutation features, and proteomics features. To prevent overfitting of the model, two techniques are employed. First, each view feature of a drug is paired with each corresponding cell line view and input into a multi-task attention deep learning model. This multi-task model is trained to simultaneously predict both the synergy score value and synergy class label. This process results in sixteen input view features being fed into the multi-task model, producing sixteen prediction values. Subsequently, these prediction values are utilized as inputs for an ensemble model, which outputs the final prediction value. The 'MVME' model is assessed using the O'Neil dataset, which includes 38 distinct drugs combined across 39 distinct cancer cell lines to output 22,737 drug combination pairs. For the synergy score value, the proposed model scores a mean square error (MSE) of 206.57, a root mean square error (RMSE) of 14.30, and a Pearson score of 0.76. For the synergy class label, the model scores 0.90 for accuracy, 0.96 for precision, 0.57 for kappa, 0.96 for the area under the ROC curve (ROC-AUC), and 0.88 for the area under the precision-recall curve (PR-AUC). Scientific contribution: This paper presents an enhanced synergistic drug combination model by utilizing four different feature views for drugs and four views for cancer cell lines. With the development of image feature matching technology, feature matching algorithms based on deep learning have achieved excellent results, but in scenarios with low texture or extreme perspective changes, the matching accuracy is still difficult to guarantee. In this paper, a superresolution reconstruction method based on a Residual-ESPCN (efficient subpixel convolutional neural network) approach is proposed based on LoFTR (local feature matching with transformers). The superresolution method is used to improve the interpolation method used in ASFF (adaptive spatial feature fusion) to increase the image resolution, enhance the detailed information of the image, and make the extracted features richer. Then, ASFF is introduced into the local feature extraction module of LoFTR, which can alleviate the inconsistency problem of information transmission between different scale features of the feature pyramid and lessen the amount of information lost during transmission from low- to high-resolution levels. Moreover, to improve the adaptability of the algorithm to different scenarios, OTSU is introduced to adaptively calculate the threshold of feature matching. The experimental results show that in different indoor or outdoor scenarios, our proposed algorithm for matching features can effectively improve the adaptability of feature matching and can achieve good results in terms of the area under the curve (AUC), accuracy and recall. Building extraction aims to extract building pixels from remote sensing imagery, which plays a significant role in urban planning, dynamic urban monitoring, and many other applications. UNet3+ is widely applied in building extraction from remote sensing images. However, it still faces issues such as low segmentation accuracy, imprecise boundary delineation, and the complexity of network models. Therefore, based on the UNet3+ model, this paper proposes a 3D Joint Attention (3DJA) module that effectively enhances the correlation between local and global features, obtaining more accurate object semantic information and enhancing feature representation. The 3DJA module models semantic interdependence in the vertical and horizontal dimensions to obtain feature map spatial encoding information, as well as in the channel dimensions to increase the correlation between dependent channel graphs. In addition, a bottleneck module is constructed to reduce the number of network parameters and improve model training efficiency. Many experiments are conducted on publicly accessible WHU,INRIA and Massachusetts building dataset, and the benchmarks, BOMSC-Net, CVNet, SCA-Net, SPCL-Net, ACMFNet, MFCF-Net models are selected for comparison with the 3DJA-UNet3+ model proposed in this paper. As the number and cleverness of cyber-attacks keep increasing rapidly, it's more important than ever to have good ways to detect and prevent them. Recognizing cyber threats quickly and accurately is crucial because they can cause severe damage to individuals and businesses. This paper takes a close look at how we can use artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), alongside metaheuristic algorithms to detect cyber-attacks better. We've thoroughly examined over sixty recent studies to measure how effective these AI tools are at identifying and fighting a wide range of cyber threats. Our research includes a diverse array of cyberattacks such as malware attacks, network intrusions, spam, and others, showing that ML and DL methods, together with metaheuristic algorithms, significantly improve how well we can find and respond to cyber threats. We compare these AI methods to find out what they're good at and where they could improve, especially as we face new and changing cyber-attacks. This paper presents a straightforward framework for assessing AI Methods in cyber threat detection. Given the increasing complexity of cyber threats, enhancing AI methods and regularly ensuring strong protection is critical. We evaluate the effectiveness and the limitations of current ML and DL proposed models, in addition to the metaheuristic algorithms. Cuttings logging is an important technology in petroleum exploration and production. It can be used to identify rock types, oil and gas properties, and reservoir features. However, the cuttings collected during cuttings logging are often small and few. Meanwhile, the surface color of cuttings is dark and the boundary is fuzzy. Traditional image segmentation methods have low accuracy. So it is difficult to identify and classify cuttings. Therefore, it is important to improve the accuracy of cuttings image segmentation. A deep learning-based cuttings image segmentation method is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the MultiRes module concept based on the UNet++ segmentation model is introduced in this paper, which proposes an improved end-to-end UNet++ image semantic segmentation model (called MultiRes-UNet++). Secondly, batch normalization into the input part of each layer's feature convolution layer is introduced too. Finally, a convolutional attention mechanism in the improved MultiRes-UNet++ segmentation model is introduced. Experimental results show that the accuracy between the segmentation results and the original image labels is 0.8791, the dice coefficient value is 0.8785, and the intersection over union is 0.7833. Compared with existing neural network segmentation algorithms, the performance is improved by about 5%. Compared with the algorithm before the fusion of the attention mechanism, the training speed is increased by about 75.2%. Our method can provide auxiliary information for cuttings logging. Automatic translation from signed to spoken languages is an interdisciplinary research domain on the intersection of computer vision, machine translation (MT), and linguistics. While the domain is growing in terms of popularity—the majority of scientific papers on sign language (SL) translation have been published in the past five years—research in this domain is performed mostly by computer scientists in isolation. This article presents an extensive and cross-domain overview of the work on SL translation. We first give a high level introduction to SL linguistics and MT to illustrate the requirements of automatic SL translation. Then, we present a systematic literature review of the state of the art in the domain. Finally, we outline important challenges for future research. We find that significant advances have been made on the shoulders of spoken language MT research. However, current approaches often lack linguistic motivation or are not adapted to the different characteristics of SLs. We explore challenges related to the representation of SL data, the collection of datasets and the evaluation of SL translation models. We advocate for interdisciplinary research and for grounding future research in linguistic analysis of SLs. Furthermore, the inclusion of deaf and hearing end users of SL translation applications in use case identification, data collection, and evaluation, is of utmost importance in the creation of useful SL translation models. With the tremendous growth in the number of scientific papers being published, searching for references while writing a scientific paper is a time-consuming process. A technique that could add a reference citation at the appropriate place in a sentence will be beneficial. In this perspective, the context-aware citation recommendation has been researched for around two decades. Many researchers have utilized the text data called the context sentence, which surrounds the citation tag, and the metadata of the target paper to find the appropriate cited research. However, the lack of well-organized benchmarking datasets, and no model that can attain high performance has made the research difficult. In this paper, we propose a deep learning-based model and well-organized dataset for context-aware paper citation recommendation. Our model comprises a document encoder and a context encoder. For this, we use graph convolutional networks layer, and bidirectional encoder representations from transformers, a pre-trained model of textual data. By modifying the related PeerRead dataset, we propose a new dataset called FullTextPeerRead containing context sentences to cited references and paper metadata. To the best of our knowledge, this dataset is the first well-organized dataset for a context-aware paper recommendation. The results indicate that the proposed model with the proposed datasets can attain state-of-the-art performance and achieve a more than 28% improvement in mean average precision and recall@k. Traditional sentiment analysis focuses on text-level sentiment mining, transforming sentiment mining into classification or regression problems, resulting in a sentiment analysis low accuracy rate. Sentiment analysis refers to the use of natural language processing, text analysis, and computational linguistics to systematically identify, extract, quantify, and study sentimental states. Therefore, more scholars have begun to focus on speech recognition and facial expression recognition research, and extracting and analysing people's sentiment tendencies can improve sentiment recognition accuracy. Traditional single-modal sentiment analysis can no longer meet people's needs. Therefore, this paper proposes a multimodal sentiment analysis method based on the multimodal sentiment analysis method that can obtain more sentimental information sources and help people make better decisions. The experimental results in this paper show that the highest recognition rates of CNN-SVM, RNN-SVM, and CRNN-SVM were 76.8%, 71.2%, and 93.5%, respectively. It can be seen that CRNN-SVM has the highest sentiment tendency recognition rate in deep learning, so it is suitable to apply CRNN-SVM to sentiment tendency analysis system design in this paper. Existing saliency algorithms based on deep learning are not sufficient to extract features of images. And the features are fused only during decoding. As a result, the edge of saliency detection result is not clear and the internal structure display is not uniform. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a saliency detection method of dual-stream encoding fusion based on RGB and grayscale image. Firstly, an interactive dual-stream encoder is constructed to extract the feature information of gray stream and RGB stream. Secondly, a multi-level fusion strategy is used to obtain more effective multi-scale features. These features are extended and optimized in the decoding stage by linear transformation with hybrid attention. Finally, We propose a hybrid weighted loss function. So that the prediction results of the model can keep a high level accuracy at pixel level and region level. This paper aims to establish an automatic and accurate pore identification method for pervious concrete. The residual module and mixed loss functions were introduced to the original UNet network to obtain the improved UNet. CT scanning was conducted on the six groups of pervious concrete samples with different aggregate sizes to obtain the initial dataset. The initial dataset was marked and enhanced, and then the pore recognition model was trained. The influence of image brightness and contrast on pore identification was analyzed. The fusion algorithm was used to improve the robustness of the model. The results show that during model training, R-UNet began to converge 20 epochs earlier than UNet and the loss value was smaller. Moreover, the maximum increase of mIoU and mDice was 10.3% and 11.7% respectively, and the maximum decrease of mHD was 14.1%. The fusion algorithm could improve the segmentation accuracy of pores in brightness anomaly images. Compared with threshold segmentation method, the method proposed in this paper could improve the accuracy of pore edge segmentation and the "fine pores" identification, and reduced the pore identification defects. This study examines the research landscape of smart learning environments by conducting a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the field over the years. The study focused on the research trends, scholar's productivity, and thematic focus of scientific publications in the field of smart learning environments. A total of 1081 data consisting of peer-reviewed articles were retrieved from the Scopus database. A bibliometric approach was applied to analyse the data for a comprehensive overview of the trend, thematic focus, and scientific production in the field of smart learning environments. The result from this bibliometric analysis indicates that the first paper on smart learning environments was published in 2002; implying the beginning of the field. Among other sources, "Computers & Education," "Smart Learning Environments," and "Computers in Human Behaviour" are the most relevant outlets publishing articles associated with smart learning environments. The work of Kinshuk et al., published in 2016, stands out as the most cited work among the analysed documents. The United States has the highest number of scientific productions and remained the most relevant country in the smart learning environment field. Besides, the results also showed names of prolific scholars and most relevant institutions in the field. Keywords such as "learning analytics," "adaptive learning," "personalized learning," "blockchain," and "deep learning" remain the trending keywords. Furthermore, thematic analysis shows that "digital storytelling" and its associated components such as "virtual reality," "critical thinking," and "serious games" are the emerging themes of the smart learning environments but need to be further developed to establish more ties with "smart learning". The study provides useful contribution to the field by clearly presenting a comprehensive overview and research hotspots, thematic focus, and future direction of the field. Breast cancer (BC) is the leading cause of death among women worldwide. It affects in general women older than 40 years old. Medical images analysis is one of the most promising research areas since it provides facilities for diagnosis and decision-making of several diseases such as BC. This paper conducts a Structured Literature Review (SLR) of the use of Machine Learning (ML) and Image Processing (IP) techniques to deal with BC imaging. A set of 530 papers published between 2000 and August 2019 were selected and analyzed according to ten criteria: year and publication channel, empirical type, research type, medical task, machine learning techniques, datasets used, validation methods, performance measures and image processing techniques which include image pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction and feature selection. Results showed that diagnosis was the most used medical task and that Deep Learning techniques (DL) were largely used to perform classification. Furthermore, we found out that classification was the most ML objective investigated followed by prediction and clustering. Most of the selected studies used Mammograms as imaging modalities rather than Ultrasound or Magnetic Resonance Imaging with the use of public or private datasets with MIAS as the most frequently investigated public dataset. As for image processing techniques, the majority of the selected studies pre-process their input images by reducing the noise and normalizing the colors, and some of them use segmentation to extract the region of interest with the thresholding method. For feature extraction, we note that researchers extracted the relevant features using classical feature extraction techniques (e.g. Texture features, Shape features, etc.) or DL techniques (e. g. Aiming at the problems of insufficient extraction of asynchronous motor fault features by traditional deep learning algorithms and poor diagnosis of asynchronous motor faults in robust noise environments, this paper proposes an end-to-end fault diagnosis method for asynchronous motors based on IInception-CBAM-IBiGRU. The method first uses a signal-to-grayscale image conversion method to convert one-dimensional vibration signals into two-dimensional images and initially extracts shallow features through two-dimensional convolution; then the Improved Inception (IInception) module is used as a residual block to learning features at different scales with a residual structure, and extracts its important feature information through the Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) to extract important feature information and adjust the weight parameters; then the feature information is input to the Improved Bi-directional Gate Recurrent Unit (IBiGRU) to extract its timing features further; finally, the fault identification is achieved by the SoftMax function. The primary hyperparameters in the model are optimized by the Weighted Mean Of Vectors Algorithm (INFO). The experimental results show that the method is effective in fault diagnosis of asynchronous motors, with an accuracy rate close to 100%, and can still maintain a high accuracy rate under the condition of low noise ratio, with good robustness and generalization ability. Fruit recognition and location are the premises of robot automatic picking. YOLOv3 has been used to detect different fruits in complex environment. However, for the object with definite features, the complex network structure will increase the computing time and may cause overfitting. Therefore, this paper has carried out a lightweight design for the YOLOv3. This paper proposed an improved T-Net to detect tomato images. Firstly, the T-Net reduces the residual network layers. This paper changed the number of cycles in each group of the residual unit to 1, 2, 2, 1, and 1. Second, two feature layers with different scales are selected according to the features of tomatoes. Meanwhile, the convolutional layer at the neck has been reduced by two layers. Finally, the location and approximate diameter of the ripe tomato are obtained by combining the node information of the Intel D435i camera and T-Net in the Robot Operation System. T-Net obtains mean average precision (mAP) of 99.2%, F1-score of 98.9%, precision of 99.0%, and recall of 98.8% at a detection rate of 104.2 FPS. The proposed T-Net has outperformed the YOLOv3 with 0.4%, 0.1%, and 0.2% increase in precision, mAP, and F1-score. The detection speed of T-Net is 1.8 times faster than YOLOv3. The mean errors of the center coordinates and diameter of the tomato are 8.5 mm and 2.5 mm, respectively. This model provides a method for efficient real-time detection and location of tomatoes. Steganography techniques are used to hide data in an object where the existence of hidden information is also obscured. Passive steganalysis tries to classify a given object as a clean or modified object. Although deep learning algorithms have addressed the issue of identifying the source camera to a certain extent, developing a straightforward and effective network remains a challenging task. At present, most of the excellent network schemes in source camera identification are deep networks, which heavily rely on the strong feature extraction ability of deep networks. Although deepening network layers has achieved certain results, training a deep convolutional neural network model requires a large dataset, sophisticated hardware and lengthy training time, and there is a waste of resources. To solve the problem of redundant structure and resource waste of deep convolutional neural networks, this paper proposes the SE-BRB module, which we call a new network module based on the residual module and SE module. Based on this, an adaptive dual-branch fusion network (ADF-Net) with a simplified structure is designed to identify the source of digital images. Specifically, the bottleneck residual module can achieve direct backward transfer of shallow features to avoid images being over-compressed and is suitable for capturing weak source features in images; Additionally, the introduction of a channel attention mechanism can increase the weight of effective feature channels in the network and improve network performance. Finally, multiscale camera feature fusion is realized through a dual-branch network structure to further improve the network performance. The accuracy of the model proposed in this paper is 99.33% and 98.78% on the Dresden dataset and the self-built complex dataset, respectively, and the classification accuracy is far ahead of the existing source camera identification methods. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) are widely used in the field of computer-aided diagnosis of lung diseases. Its main tasks are segmentation of lung parenchyma, lung nodule detection and lesion analysis. Among them, the accurate segmentation of lung parenchyma is the key step to achieve lung nodule detection and lung disease diagnosis. Inspired by the self-attention mechanism in transformer, many excellent variants of the attention module combined with convolutional neural networks have been applied to lung image segmentation. However, existing models usually suffer from feature information loss and insensitive multi-scale feature extraction. In this paper, we propose a convolutional neural network ACX-UNet incorporating attention mechanism and cyclic cross-feature extraction in an encoding–decoding mode for lung image segmentation. The convolutional block attention mechanism module (CBAM) is introduced into the skip connection part of the network to reduce the loss of feature information by increasing the attention of high-resolution features; the proposed CX-SPP module is used in the decoding part instead of the two-layer convolution of UNet, and the key information output is cyclically superimposed, deepening the network level and fusing multi-scale information to highlight the target region to suppress the background pixel interference; in order to obtain richer semantic information and improve the generalization ability of the model, the pre-trained VGG16 network is migrated to the encoder part of the UNet model to achieve feature migration and parameter sharing and reduce the training cost. Comparative experiments and ablation experiments are conducted on LIDC and LUNA public datasets with six existing mainstream segmentation networks, and the results show that the prediction maps obtained by the model in this paper are closer to the real labels, and the mIoU, mPA, Precision and Recall evaluation metrics are better than other comparison models. Aspect-based sentiment analysis has achieved many results in recent years, but most of the research focuses on goods, services, and topics. The research in the medical field is very limited. Considering the problem that the fish disease descriptions contain large numbers of emotional tendencies but the existing data are insufficient in this field, a dataset named Diseases of Fish Animals (DFA) is constructed. In this paper, we propose a feature interaction model based on an adversarial strategy to learn the relationship between aspects and texts by improving the attention mechanism. Aiming at the problem that the fusion effect is reduced due to the difference in feature distribution space during the interaction process, an adversarial strategy is designed to align text and aspect features. Experiments are carried out on the DFA dataset, which involves 7 aspects and 3 sentiment polarity and contains more than 4700 samples. The experimental results show that the accuracy and F1 of the model are 87.07% and 87.19% respectively. In the field of food safety, milk has become an indispensable beverage in people's lives. Therefore, it is of great significance to detect milk freshness. Starting from the milk freshness detection, the perspective can be extended to liquid detection. Liquid detection has attracted much attention and has been applied in many fields. However, current liquid detection methods are either contact detection methods that can lead to sample damage, or require specialized instruments, expertise for operation or cumbersome hardware deployment. This paper introduces a non-contact milk freshness detection method based on image features and tensor construction. Unlike existing liquid detection methods, our method relies on ubiquitous WiFi signals to achieve non-contact and non-invasive milk freshness detection. The design intuition is that the WiFi signals will lead to different multipath propagation when passing through milk with different freshness, which can be used to detect milk freshness. We use existing commercial devices to collect WiFi signal data of milk with different freshness, denoise the collected data and transform the denoised data into multiple types of time-frequency images and spatial-temporal images, and input the images into the deep learning network to extract image features that contain richer and more comprehensive information, and then utilize the extracted image features to perform tensor construction to better retain the original time, frequency and spatial feature information, and apply 3D convolutional layer and fully connected layers for milk freshness detection. Using radiographic changes of COVID-19 in the medical images, artificial intelligence techniques such as deep learning are used to extract some graphical features of COVID-19 and present a Covid-19 diagnostic tool. Differently from previous works that focus on using deep learning to analyze CT scans or X-ray images, this paper uses deep learning to scan electro diagram (ECG) images to diagnose Covid-19. Covid-19 patients with heart disease are the most people exposed to violent symptoms of Covid-19 and death. This shows that there is a special, unclear relation (until now) and parameters between covid-19 and heart disease. So, as previous works, using a general diagnostic model to detect covid-19 from all patients, based on the same rules, is not accurate as we prove later in the practical section of our paper because the model faces dispersion in the data during the training process. So, this paper aims to propose a novel model that focuses on diagnosing accurately Covid-19 for heart patients only to increase the accuracy and to reduce the waiting time of a heart patient to perform a covid-19 diagnosis. Also, we handle the only one existed dataset that contains ECGs of Covid-19 patients and produce a new version, with the help of a heart diseases expert, which consists of two classes: ECGs of heart patients with positive Covid-19 and ECGs of heart patients with negative Covid-19 cases. This dataset will help medical experts and data scientists to study the relation between Covid-19 and heart patients. These days, Internet coverage and technologies are growing rapidly, hence, it makes the network more complex and heterogeneous. Software defined network (SDN) revolutionized the network architecture and simplified the network by separating the control and data plane. On the other hand, machine learning (ML) and its derivations have made the systems more intelligent. Many pieces of research papers have addressed ML and SDN. In this survey, we collected the papers published in Springer, Elsevier, IEEE, and ACM and addressed SDN and ML between 2016 and 2023. The research papers are organized based on the solutions, evaluation parameters, and evaluation environments to help those working on SDN and ML for improving the target functional or non-functional parameters. The research papers will be analyzed to extract the solutions, evaluation parameters and environments. The extracted solutions, evaluation parameters and environments will be clustered in this review paper. The research gap and future research directions will be stated in this work.
