The paper presents the results of predicting the characteristics of a inductive coupled radio frequency discharge at low pressure in a one-dimensional approximation using a perceptron. The electric and magnetic field strengths of the ICRF discharge were used as prediction characteristics. The prediction results obtained using the perceptron were compared with the model data of the ICRF discharge. The comparative results showed that the trained perceptron can be used to predict the characteristics of the ICRF discharge at those points of study where it is problematic to obtain a solution due to the convergence of mathematical models. When a circulating extraction mixture of 30% TBP in Isopar-M, saturated with 3.4 mol L−1 nitric acid, is irradiated with a dose of up to 2000 kGy, products are formed that reduce the value of the lower temperature limit of flame propagation (Tl) from 74 to 52 ℃ and worsen the hydrodynamic properties. A comparison of regeneration methods of an irradiated extraction mixture showed that the method of fractional vacuum distillation is the most effective for increasing the Tl value. Regeneration with carbonate solutions increases Tl, removes non-volatile radiolysis products, and moreover is the simplest and most economical regeneration method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We develop massive higher-spin theory as a framework for describing dynamics of rotating compact objects, such as Kerr black holes. In this paper, we explore gauge interactions up to quartic order and corresponding Compton amplitudes of higher-spin massive objects coupled to electromagnetism and Yang-Mills theory. Their classical counterparts are known as root-Kerr gauge-theory solutions, whose amplitudes are closely related to those of Kerr black holes. We use three distinct approaches: (i) massive higher-spin gauge symmetry to introduce cubic interactions for all spins and the quartic interactions up to spin 3, which is implemented both off shell and via Ward identities; (ii) a chiral higher-spin approach to construct quartic Lagrangians with correct degrees of freedom to all spins; (iii) on-shell functional patterns before and after taking the classical limit to constrain the Compton amplitudes. As final results, we arrive at simple local formulae for the candidate root-Kerr Compton amplitudes both in the quantum regime and classical limit, to all orders in spin. The surfaces of homoepitaxial 4H-SiC layers were studied using a nuclear scanning microprobe in the Rutherford backscattering mode. Analysis of the state of the sample surfaces and the synthesis conditions showed that an increase in the silicon (Si) content in the upper layers of some samples precedes the formation of highly defective 4H-SiC layers. Higher spin gravities do not have a low energy limit where higher-spin fields decouple from gravity. Nevertheless, it is possible to construct fine-tuned exact solutions that activate low-spin fields without sourcing the higher-spin fields. We show that BPST (Belavin-Polyakov-Schwartz-Tyupkin) instanton is an exact solution of Chiral Higher Spin Gravity, i.e. it is also a solution of the holographic dual of Chern-Simons matter theories. This gives an example of a low-spin solution. The instanton sources the opposite helicity spin-one field and a scalar field. We derive an Effective Field Theory that describes the coupling between an instanton and the other two fields, whose action starts with the Chalmers-Siegel action and has certain higher derivative couplings. Propagation of electromagnetic wave in locally inhomogeneous medium with an infinitely thin graphene layer is studied. New hybrid integro-differential equation is considered; for its numerical solving Galerkin method with compactly supported basis functions is applied. Parallel algorithm using MPI routines is implemented to obtain approximate solutions of the problem according to the Galerkin method. Chiral higher spin gravity is defined in terms of a strong homotopy algebra of pre-Calabi-Yau type (noncommutative Poisson structure). All structure maps are given by the integrals over the configuration space of concave polygons and the first two maps are related to the (Shoikhet-Tsygan-)Kontsevich Formality. As with the known formality theorems, we prove the A∞-relations via Stokes’ theorem by constructing a closed form and a configuration space whose boundary components lead to the A∞-relations. Motivated by the generation of action principles from off-shell dualisation, we present a general class of free, topological theories in three dimensional Minkowski spacetime that exhibit higher-spin gauge invariance. In the spin-two case, we recover a dual reformulation of the triplet system already known, while the higher-spin systems that we obtain seem to be new. They are associated with wild quivers. We study in which situations these exotic (or strange) higher-spin models can be extended to dS3 and AdS3 backgrounds, revealing that the flat limit of such models, when they exist, admits a one-parameter freedom. The influence of the degree of plastic deformation at room temperature, followed by aging, on the amplitude dependence of internal friction and microstructure of the pre-hardened alloy ZA27 was investigated. The feasibility of recognizing opaque materials in remote objects using pulsed laser photothermal radiometry with prolonged pulsed exposure is examined. Theoretical calculations are given of the range of recognition of materials with laser activation of their surfaces. The computational results indicate a significant influence of thermal parameters on recognition range. It is shown experimentally that there is a reduction in the range by roughly an order of magnitude if the material of the search object has a large thermal inertia (metals) compared to a material with a low thermal inertia (polycarbonate, rubber), which provides a sufficient probability for their difference. Here a condition of strong surface absorption must hold at the laser wavelength. In the case of synthetic polymer products these conditions are met to the greatest extent by a CO2 laser. The effect of wind load on the temperature of a laser spot on the object is one of the key conditions in this method. A way of reducing this effect to a minimum or even eliminating it nearly completely is proposed. Issues related to the feasibility of increasing the recognition range are discussed. Scattering of two Kerr Black Holes emitting gravitational waves can be captured by an effective theory of a massive higher-spin field interacting with the gravitational field. While other compact objects should activate a multitude of non-minimal interactions it is the black holes that should be captured by the simplest minimal interaction. Implementing massive higher-spin symmetry via a string-inspired BRST approach we construct an action that reproduces the correct cubic amplitude of Arkani-Hamed-Huang-Huang. Generalizations of construction of Kolmogorov integral to the case of Banach space-valued functions are considered. We demonstrate how the Kolmogorov ideas on integration theory, in particular, the notion of differential equivalence, have been developed in the theory of the Henstock–Kurzweil integral. In this connection, a variational version of a Henstock type integral with respect to a rather general derivation basis is studied. The work is focused on the analysis of thermomechanical stresses in silicon during pulse current heating of interconnections which were exposed to single current pulses with a duration of up to 250 µs and a current density amplitude of up to 2 × 1011 A/m2. When modeling thermal "loads", film conductors on silicon with a thickness of up to 3 µm and a width of 10–75 µm were considered. Based on the experimental oscillograms taken from sections of the test structures during the passage of a current pulse and the calculation performed, the maximum temperatures on the silicon surface near the thermal shock source were determined. It has been experimentally revealed that the passage of current pulses with an amplitude of 2 × 1011 A/m2 and a duration of up to 250 µs leads to thermal destruction of interconnects and contributes to the formation of plastic deformation regions in the near-surface layer of silicon. It was revealed that with a decrease in the track width, the nature of the melting of the film conductor does not change. It was also established that a significantly higher specific energy is required to melt narrower tracks. The analysis of the maximum temperature gradients identified the places of the most probable cracking. The formation of cracks in the near-surface layer of a semiconductor at a depth of 2.5 µm after the passage of a single current pulse was experimentally detected. The results of development and investigation of the characteristics of a holmium fiber laser generating at the wavelength of 2 μm in cavity configurations with distributed Bragg reflectors (DBRs) and with random distributed feedback (RDFB) provided by artificial Rayleigh reflectors are considered. The length of the active medium was 75 cm. For the linear scheme with DBRs, the output power was about 330 mW at a pump power of 3.9 W, while the linewidth did not exceed 10 pm. For the configuration with RDFB, the maximum output power was 360 mW, and the generation linewidth was about 3 pm, while up to the output power level of 90 mW, a single-frequency generation regime was observed and the temporal dynamics was pulsed. We expand the class of deviation sequences for which the problem on the existence of an element of a Banach space with these deviations from a system of nested subspaces is solved positively regardless of the space and the system of subspaces. This result is used to narrow the gap between the weak asymptotics constants in S. V. Konyagin's theorem on the existence of an element whose deviations are asymptotically close to given ones. We propose a covariant technique to excavate physical bosonic string states by entire trajectories rather than individually. The approach is based on Howe duality: the string's spacetime Lorentz algebra commutes with a certain inductive limit of sp(•), with the Virasoro constraints forming a subalgebra of the Howe dual algebra sp(•). There are then infinitely many simple trajectories of states, which are lowest-weight representations of sp(•) and hence of the Virasoro algebra. Deeper trajectories are recurrences of the simple ones and can be probed by suitable trajectory-shifting operators built out of the Howe dual algebra generators. The species diversity of the floodplain forest communities in the North-East of the Russian Federation was studied on the basis of 177 geobotanical releves conducted in the north of the Koryak Okrug, the North-East of Magadan Oblast, and the southern Chukotka. This work aims at analysing the species and community diversity of the floodplain forests depending on the habitat conditions and their position in the successional series. Geobotanical characteristics of communities in chosenia (Chosenia arbutifolia), Mongolian poplar (Populus suaveolens), willow (Salix udensis, narrow-leaf willow S. schwerinii), and alder (Alnus hirsuta) forests were displayed by dominant-determinant classification. The community diversity of the floodplain forests is represented by 19 associations, grouped into 5 series. The floristic composition and structure of the floodplain forests' communities were characterized, the Shannon and Pielou indices, species richness, species percentage coverage, and layer density were estimated. Compared to the forests of the Kamchatka Peninsula, the floodplain forests of North-East Russia were characterized by low syntaxonomic diversity and represented by floristically poor communities. The structure and dynamics of the floodplain forests' communities are discussed. The indicators of species diversity and evenness were calculated for each of the studied communities. The lowest Shannon index appeared to the pioneer chosenia communities with sparse herb cover, found on recent pebble sediments; the highest index was found for herb-moss poplar forests that occupied the highest elevations of the floodplain. The rest of the associations had intermediate values of the Shannon index. The species diversity tended to increase over the sequence of alluvial succession. The obtained data suggested that the species diversity of communities might increase during succession and depend on habitat floodplain regime and alluvial index decrease. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The effect of conditions of heat treatment, namely, quenching, aging, and annealing temperatures on parameters of amplitude dependence of the internal friction, dynamic modulus of elasticity, hardness, and structure of Zr–8.1% Nb alloys is studied. The character and intensity of changes in the properties in accordance with the main phase and structural transformations that occurred within six aging temperature ranges are analyzed. Based on the correspondence of the dependences of the unit-cell volume of the ω phase, hardness, and dynamic modulus of elasticity of the alloy on the aging temperature, it is suggested that the unit-cell volume of the ω phase characterizes the strength and rigidity of its crystal structure. A single-frequency erbium laser with a radiation wavelength of about 1555.8 nm with random distributed feedback, which is implemented due to inhomogeneities of phase mask resulting from recording of a single high-reflectance fiber Bragg grating, is presented. The spectrum of such a grating contains asymmetric side resonances located predominantly in the long-wavelength spectral region. At the wavelength of one of the dips separating the resonances, single-frequency lasing with a linewidth of about 1 kHz is observed at a maximum output power of 0.74 mW obtained at a pump power of 540 mW. The purpose of the work is the development, software implementation, and testing of a projection method and a parallel algorithm for solving the problem of electromagnetic wave diffraction on a system of solids and screens. Galerkin method is implemented for the vector integrodifferential equation of the diffraction problem; basis vector functions on a three-dimensional body and a parameterized nonplanar screen are determined; parallel algorithm for solving the problem is implemented using the MSMPI library. Approximate solutions to the model problem are compared with the previously published results; the inner convergence of the Galerkin method is investigated; dependence of the solution in the area of inhomogeneity on a perfectly conducting screen is investigated. The proposed technique of approximation of solutions on a curvilinear screen is an effective method that significantly expands the class of diffraction problems solved by integral equations method; numerical tests have confirmed high efficiency of the parallel algorithm. Post-stroke gait disorders are often characterized by abnormal kinematic and kinetic patterns, deviations in spatiotemporal features, altered muscle activation, and increased power requirements while walking. The investigation is aimed at determining the possibility of using transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (TSCS) to influence the kinematics of walking in stroke patients with hemiparesis in the early and late recovery periods (1–12 months) after stroke. Continuous and phasic stimulation was used during motor training on a treadmill. For stimulation of spinal neuroprosthesis including a multichannel stimulator for TSCS (Cosyma, Russia) with sensors for determining the phases of walking was used. The biomechanical study of the walking function was carried out with the Steadys system (Neurosoft, Russia). The study involved 15 patients (ages from 33 to 79 years). We analyzed the parameters of stepping movements when walking on the floor without stimulation before and after training on a treadmill using TSCS. A comparative analysis of the kinematics of walking before and after training showed an increase in walking speed, the length of the step cycle, and an increase in the range of movements in the hip, knee, and ankle joints, in 40% patients the height of the paretic foot lift increased by 1–2 cm. The results show that the training with the use of TSCS can be considered as a rehabilitation method for correcting walking after a stroke. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The results of an experimental comparison of the parameters of the coherent population trapping (CPT) resonance for the 87Rb D1 line and the light shifts during the detection of signals from different cross-sectional areas of the interaction of laser radiation with atoms are presented. A method is proposed to search for zero-light-shift operating conditions and their automatic stabilization, which would improve the long-term stability of CPT-resonance-based microwave frequency standards. 4-[4-Bromo-2-(2-phenyldiazenyl)phenoxy]phthalonitrile was obtained by the reaction of 4-nitrophthalonitrile and sodium 4-bromo-2-(2-phenyldiazenyl)phenolate. Magnesium and zinc phthalocyaninates were synthesized by the template condensation of the corresponding metals with phthalonitrile. Methods for the synthesis of new ditopic organic ligands containing coordinating fragments of two types, terpyridine and thiohydantoin, have been developed. The complex formation reactions of the synthesized ligands with copper(II) chloride were studied. As a result, two types of coordination compounds were isolated and characterized by electron spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and cyclic voltammetry: copper(I,II) bis-ligand tetranuclear mixed-valent complexes and a monoligand binuclear complex containing two copper(II) ions. The aqueous phase formed during the regeneration of the irradiated extractant contains organic products that degrade into gases upon heating and evaporation. With an excess of HNO3, almost 230 L of gas can be released from a liter of hot liquid phase. Nitrates of rare earth elements practically do not affect the thermal stability of the raffinate. Evaporation of the aqueous phase is accompanied by acid hydrolysis of dissolved butyl phosphates with the formation of their hydroxy derivatives. A method for the synthesis of 4-methyl-2-oxo-9-phenyl-2H-furo[2,3-h]chromene-8-carboxylic acid amides combining in the structure the angelicin core with heterocyclic fragments at the amide nitrogen atom was developed. The cytotoxic activity of the obtained amides against the MCF7 (breast adenocarcinoma), A549 (non-small cell lung cancer), VA-13 (embryonic lung fibroblast cells) and HEK293T (embryonic kidney cells) cell lines was studied. In contrast to the previously described highly toxic angelicin derivatives with aryl- and hetarylcarbonyl substituents at position 8, the synthesized amides demonstrated in in vitro experiments in these cell lines the IC50abs values ranging within 2–100 µmol L−1. We investigate the swampland distance conjecture in higher-spin gravity. To this end, we study multicritical generalizations of large-N vector models, bosonic and fermionic, and we compute the quantum information distance along selected renormalization-group trajectories toward the higher-spin limit. In contrast to the expected exponential decay of higher-spin masses or anomalous dimensions, we find that infinite-distance limits in these models lead to a power-like decay. This suggests that stringy exponential decays are characteristic of matrix-like gauge theories, rather than vector models. We corroborate this notion studying the information distance along coupling variations in Chern-Simons-matter CFTs, where matrix-like degrees of freedom dominate over vector-like ones. The broad band of the observed emission is located in the near IR region and at low temperatures consists of a pronounced zero-phonon line (ZPL) with a maximum at 1157.1 nm (8642 cm–1) at 77 K and developed vibronic sidebands extending to 1450nm. The observed ZPL is associated with an intracenter 1T2g → 3T1g or a closely located 1Eg → 3T1g emission transition in V3+ (3d2) ions replacing Ti4+ ions. It was found that the temperature shift of zero-phonon line is unusually large and its frequency decreases upon lowering the temperature. The local configuration instability of V3+ ions in the 3T1g ground state caused by soft TO1 temperature-dependent phonon mode present in SrTiO3 is considered as a possible source of the observed unusual temperature shift. Multisegmental transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the spinal cord (sсTS), affecting spinal neural networks and motor pools of leg muscles, was used to correct treadmill walking in stroke patients. The study involved 15 patients in the recovery period after acute cerebrovascular accidents. A noninvasive spinal neuroprosthesis with a multichannel stimulator and a system for detecting phases of the walking cycle ("Cosima", Russia) was used to activate motor pools of leg flexor muscles in the transfer phase, activation of motor pools of extensor muscles in the stance phase in combination with continuous activation of spinal locomotor networks. Using of sсTS during walking on a treadmill increased the amplitude of movements in the ankle joint and the stride length on the paresis side, as well as a decreased the asymmetry of both legs in the phases of the gait cycle. The clearance of the paretic leg lift increased in 80% of patients. With a combination of continuous and phase-dependent stimulation, the increase in the range of motion in the joints was maximal compared to phase-dependent or only constant stimulation. The obtained data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm of the sсTS modulates the parameters of walking movements in patients with the consequences of cerebral circulation accidents and can be considered as a promising method of motor rehabilitation. We work out the dictionary for Yang-Mills- and gravity-type theories with higher derivative corrections as well as some higher spin examples and exemplify the relation to the three-dimensional bosonization duality. The bosonization can be understood as a simple surgery: vertices/correlators are built via an EM-duality transformation by sewing together (anti)-Chiral higher spin gravities, to whose existence the three-dimensional bosonization duality can be attributed (up to the proof of uniqueness). This paper substantiates the necessity of using geophysical methods in geocryological monitoring to study the conditions of permafrost rock occurrence, search for taliks and cryopegs, and determine the physical and mechanical properties of frozen rocks. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods and examples of their use for solving geocryological problems are described both in natural conditions and in the impact zone of buildings and engineering structures. We lift the recently proposed theories of higher-spin self-dual Yang-Mills (SDYM) and gravity (SDGR) to the twistor space. We find that the most natural room for their twistor formulation is not in the projective, but in the full twistor space, which is the total space of the spinor bundle over the 4-dimensional manifold. In the case of higher-spin extension of the SDYM we prove an analogue of the Ward theorem, and show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the solutions of the field equations and holomorphic vector bundles over the twistor space. In the case of the higher-spin extension of SDGR we show show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between solutions of the field equations and Ehresmann connections on the twistor space whose horizontal distributions are Poisson, and whose curvature is decomposable. Sophisticated optimization in modern compilers can sometimes create vulnerabilities in program code as a result of optimization. The source of these vulnerabilities is in code with undefined behavior. Programmers use constructs with undefined behavior while relying on a particular behavior these constructs exhibited before in their practice. However, the compiler does not have to stick to that behavior and may change it if there is a need for code optimization because this behavior is not defined by language standards. This paper describes some approaches to the discovery and elimination of vulnerabilities caused by optimization in the case where the source code is available, but its modification is undesirable or impossible. We propose the concept of a safe compiler (i.e., a compiler that guarantees that no vulnerability is brought into a program in the process of optimization). We describe the implementation of this compiler on top of GCC. The functionality of the safe compiler is implemented at three security levels, the applicability of which is discussed in this paper. Interband photoluminescence was obtained for structures with multiple quantum wells (MQWs) with different content of germanium and tin. Peak position in photoluminescence spectra obtained from the MQW of Ge Si Sn /Si shifts to the long wavelength region with an increase in the Ge content in the solid solution and is observed in the energy range 0.85-0.68 eV for the germanium content from 30 to 78 . Thus, the shift of the peak along the wavelength was observed from 1.46 to 1.82 m, and the total spectral range of MQW luminescence covered by these structures was 1.3–2.1 m. An even more significant shift of the MQW photoluminescence peak to the long-wavelength region was achieved by increasing the tin content. Increasing the fraction of Sn from 7 to 14 while keeping the 30 Ge fraction constant led to a shift of the peak from 0.85 to 0.75 eV. A simultaneous increase in the content of both tin and germanium in the solid solution (up to 14 and 79%, respectively) made it possible to obtain a photoluminescence peak with an energy of 0.58 eV, which corresponds to the radiation wavelength of 2.14 m. A sharp "red" shift in the position of the photoluminescence peak with increasing temperature was discovered and its value reached 50 meV when the sample heating temperature was changed from 11 to 60–80 K. Such a significant shift in the position of the MQW photoluminescence peak is explained within the framework of a model that assumes that at low temperatures, charge carriers are randomly localized on spatial inhomogeneities of the MQW, and as the temperature increases, they are redistributed and transition to a thermodynamically equilibrium state with the lowest energy. A study is performed of the temperature modes of the operation of a new model of a thermal cell designed for information storage and conversion systems, obtained on a system of metal films deposited on a silicon wafer. A model is presented of semiconductor wafer heating from temperature fields created by a rectangular fragment of metallization under the influence of a pulsed current. The efficiency of a newly developed single-use blood pump was evaluated in comparison with the Safira single-use blood pump manufactured by Braile Biomedica (Brazil) used in modern clinical practice. The performance of prototype pumps was compared by evaluating the normalized index of hemolysis (NIH) calculated from data obtained during hemolysis tests. These studies showed that the level of hemolysis during perfusion using prototypes at this stage of development was not statistically different from that of single-use pumps used in clinical practice. We report here part of a study of the operation of a centrifugal pump as a component of a cardiopulmonary bypass circuit. The aim of the present work was to analyze the influences of various hydrodynamic factors on the intensity of mechanical hemolysis of blood. Mathematical modeling was used to construct a hydrodynamic model of the pump and the characteristics obtained for two configurations of the pump impeller blades were compared to assess the intensity of shear hemolysis of blood. The hydrodynamic model obtained here allows the intensity of mechanical damage to blood cells to be assessed on the basis of calculations of pressure and velocity field gradient distributions both in the flow channel and on the blades of the working impeller which contacts blood elements.
