With the increasing number of graduates seeking to pursue higher education, getting a student’s admission into the university becomes more challenging. New graduate students are typically unaware of the postgraduate admission criteria and procedures and may spend a substantial amount of time obtaining guidance from consulting firms to help them define their admission opportunities. Thus, a machine learning approach was built in this paper to automatically predict the prospects for postgraduate admissions, enabling graduates to recognise and target the most appropriate universities for their profile. The University Recommendation System for Higher Studies is a system framework that prescribes universities for students or users of the system who recommend universities to students looking for education for their higher studies. The main parameters used to recommend university are CGPA percentages, GRE Score, TOFEL Score, university rank, etc. This system uses machine learning algorithms and compares the accuracy of the algorithms.

The designed system integrates BC identification, disease prevention and treatment of TCM, forming a logical chain of TCM health management. In China, TCM is an important part of the medical system. Therefore, the TCM health management system in line with the logic of TCM is expected to become a valuable supplement to the modern medical health management system.

We propose a distributed control approach for formation switch of fixed wing micro aerial vehicles (MAVs). First, a multilayer system framework is designed for distributed formation control of fixed wing MAVs. Then, a specific control algorithm is proposed for on-the-fly formation switch. During the entire formation switching process, constraints such as a safe inter-MAV distance can be satisfied, by applying position-based dynamics on the conceptual centers around which the MAVs circle. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by comparative experiments in a realistic robot simulator.

The performance of the algorithm heavily depends on the convergence related to the values of parameters involved. It is formulated as a hard problem to select suitable values of mutation and crossover rates to achieve fast or slow convergence for unknown problems. As a new study of system framework inspired by cell model, membrane computing models is with a membrane structure having region segmentation, intrinsic discrete, non-deterministic, programmable and transparent features. In this paper, a hybrid “fast-slow” convergent framework for genetic algorithm inspired by membrane computing is proposed and applied to search optimal solution of 41 benchmark functions. It is obtained by the data experimental results that our method performs well in solving benchmark functions by achieving accuracy rate about 96%.

One of the most important issues which need to be focused is multi-tasks scheduling, especially the dynamic task scheduling problem in cloud manufacturing (CMfg) environment. In this paper, the dynamic task scheduling process in CMfg is firstly analyzed. Then a method of dynamic scheduling based on real-time simulation is presented and the system framework of this method is proposed. This framework consists of three layers that are task processing layer, core scheduling layer and resource service layer. Key modules in the core scheduling layer include subtask dispatcher, service scheduler and scheduling scheme simulator. Finally, we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this simulation-based scheduling method in solving dynamic task scheduling problem in cloud manufacturing environment.
