The U.S. Air Force has implemented a new mental health care initiative called Mental Health Targeted Care, which aims to match service members with the care that best meets their needs. This initiative provides a variety of resources for active-duty service members, including mental health clinics, off-base care options, chaplains, and supporting agencies. The goal is to provide solution-focused care that can be adjusted if needed. The initiative supports the current defense strategy and helps Airmen achieve and maintain medical readiness. Confidentiality is emphasized, and efforts are being made to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in the military. [Extracted from the article]
