Recurrent events, including cardiovascular events, are commonly observed in biomedical studies. Understanding the effects of various treatments on recurrent events and investigating the underlying mediation mechanisms by which treatments may reduce the frequency of recurrent events are crucial tasks for researchers. Although causal inference methods for recurrent event data have been proposed, they cannot be used to assess mediation. This study proposed a novel methodology of causal mediation analysis that accommodates recurrent outcomes of interest in a given individual. A formal definition of causal estimands (direct and indirect effects) within a counterfactual framework is given, and empirical expressions for these effects are identified. To estimate these effects, a semiparametric estimator with triple robustness against model misspecification was developed. The proposed methodology was demonstrated in a real‐world application. The method was applied to measure the effects of two diabetes drugs on the recurrence of cardiovascular disease and to examine the mediating role of kidney function in this process. The understanding of viral transcription and replication activity in HBeAg‐positive chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients with low‐level viraemia (LLV) or previous low‐level viraemia (pre‐LLV) remains unclear. Our aim was to evaluate and compare circulating hepatitis B virus (HBV) RNA levels in these patient groups with those achieving maintained virological response (MVR). This cross‐sectional study included 147 patients: 43 in the LLV group, 25 in the pre‐LLV group and 79 in the MVR group. Serum HBV RNA levels were assessed using specific RNA target capture combined with simultaneous amplification and testing method. Propensity score matching (PSM) was used to balance baseline characteristics between groups. Median HBV RNA levels were 6.9 copies/mL in the LLV group, 6.1 copies/mL in the pre‐LLV group and 3.8 copies/mL in the MVR group. After PSM, significantly higher HBV RNA levels were observed in the LLV group compared to the MVR group (p < .001), and the pre‐LLV group also showed higher HBV RNA levels than the MVR group (p < .001). Both LLV and pre‐LLV HBeAg‐positive CHB patients exhibited elevated circulating HBV RNA levels compared to those achieving MVR. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This case report discusses a female patient with axial spondyloarthritis (AS) who developed inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) after being treated with secukinumab (SEC), an interleukin-17 inhibitor. The patient had a family history of AS and psoriasis, and her symptoms worsened after starting SEC treatment. She experienced upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and gastrointestinal bleeding. The report highlights the association between SEC and the exacerbation of gastrointestinal symptoms leading to IBD. Over the past decade, controlled supramolecular polymerization has been extensively studied and gradually shifted to supramolecular block copolymerization. Supramolecular block copolymers (BCPs) are considered the holy grail for developing supramolecular materials with new functionalities due to their fascinating structures and ability to introduce diverse functions. From a thermodynamic view to kinetic aspects, great progress has been made in the synthetic strategies of BCPs in the past few years. Rigid three‐dimensional (3D) polycyclic propellanes have garnered interest due to their unique conformational spaces, which display great potential use in selectivity, separation and as models to study through‐space electronic interactions. Herein we report the synthesis of a novel rigid propellane, trinaphtho[3.3.3]propellane triimide, which comprises three imide groups embedded on a trinaphtho[3.3.3]propellane. This propellane triimide exhibits large bathochromic shift, amplified molar absorptivity, enhanced fluorescence, and lower reduction potential when compared to the subunits. Computational and experimental studies reveal that the effective through‐space π‐orbitals interacting (homoconjugation) occurs between the subunits. Single‐crystal XRD analysis reveals that the propellane triimide has a highly quasi‐D3h symmetric skeleton and readily crystallizes into different superstructures by changing alkyl chains at the imide positions. In particular, the porous 3D superstructure with S‐shaped channels is promising for taking up ethane (C2H6) with very good selectivity over ethylene (C2H4), which can purify C2H4 from C2H6/C2H4 in a single separation step. The most crucial task of petroleum geology is to explore oil and gas reservoirs in the deep underground. As one of the analysis techniques in petroleum geological research, rock thin section identification method includes particle segmentation, which is one of the key steps. A conventional sandstone thin section image typically contains hundreds of mineral particles with blurred boundaries and complex microstructures inside the particles. Moreover, the complex lithology and low porosity of tight sandstone make traditional image segmentation methods unsuitable for solving the complex thin section segmentation problems. This paper combines petrology and image processing technologies. First, polarised sequence images are aligned, and then the images are transformed to the HSV colour space to extract pores. Second, particles are extracted according to their extinction characteristics. Last, a concavity and corner detection matching method is used to process the extracted particles, thereby completing the segmentation of sandstone thin section images. The experimental results show that our proposed method can more accurately fit the boundaries of mineral particles in sandstone images than existing image segmentation methods. Additionally, when applied in actual production scenarios, our method exhibits excellent performance, greatly improving thin section identification efficiency and significantly assisting experts in identification. Issue Addressed: This study assessed Australian adults' attitudes towards government actions to protect children from digital marketing of unhealthy food and drink products. Methods: An online survey was undertaken by Australian adults aged 18–64 recruited via two national panels in December 2019 (N = 2044). Results: Most respondents (69%) agreed the Government should protect children from unhealthy food and drink marketing and advertising broadly. Those who agreed most commonly indicated children should be protected up to age 16 (34%) or 18 (24%). There was widespread support for government actions to stop unhealthy food and drink marketing on digital platforms (e.g., internet sites) (68%–69%) and various digital marketing techniques (e.g., advertising by brands on social media) (56%–71%). A total ban on targeting unhealthy food and drink marketing to children online received the highest level of support (76%). Most respondents (81%) disagreed unhealthy food and drink companies should be able to collect children's personal information for marketing purposes. Support for examined actions was generally higher among older adults, more educated adults and more frequent internet users, lower among males, and similar between parents and non‐parents. Conclusions: There is public perception that the government is responsible for protecting children, well into adolescence, from unhealthy food and drink marketing broadly. Widespread public support extends to specific actions to reduce children's exposure to digital marketing of unhealthy food and drink products. BACKGROUND: Protein‐based nanoparticles have gained considerable interest in recent years due to their biodegradability, biocompatibility, and functional properties. However, nanoparticles formed from hydrophobic proteins are prone to instability under environmental stress, which restricts their potential applications. It is therefore of great importance to develop green approaches for the fabrication of hydrophobic protein‐based nanoparticles and to improve their physicochemical performance. RESULTS: Gliadin/shellac complex nanoparticles (168.87 ~ 403.67 nm) with various gliadin/shellac mass ratios (10:0 ~ 5:5) were prepared using a pH‐driven approach. In comparison with gliadin nanoparticles, complex nanoparticles have shown enhanced stability against neutral pH, ions, and boiling. They remained stable under neutral conditions at NaCl concentrations ranging from 0 to 100 mmol L−1 and even when boiled at 100 °C for 90 min. These nanoparticles were capable of effectively reducing oil–water interfacial tension (5 ~ 11 mNm−1) but a higher amount of shellac in the nanoparticles compromised their ability to lower interfacial tension. Moreover, the wettability of the nanoparticles changed as the gliadin/shellac mass ratio changed, leading to a range of three‐phase contact angles from 52.41° to 84.85°. Notably, complex nanoparticles with a gliadin/shellac mass ratio of 8:2 (G/S 8:2) showed a contact angle of 84.85°, which is considered suitable for the Pickering stabilization mechanism. Moreover, these nanoparticles exhibited the highest emulsifying activity of 52.42 m2 g−1 and emulsifying stability of 65.33%. CONCLUSIONS: The findings of the study revealed that gliadin/shellac complex nanoparticles exhibited excellent resistance to environmental stress and demonstrated superior oil–water interfacial behavior. Background: The dosage of ovalbumin (OVA) during the sensitization stage is considered a crucial factor in the development of airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR). However, the inconsistent dosages of sensitizing OVA used in current studies and the lack of research on their impact on AHR are notable limitations. Methods: We examined the impact of increasing sensitizing doses of OVA in a murine asthma model, which entailed initial sensitization with OVA followed by repeated exposure to OVA aerosols. BALB/c mice were primed with doses of OVA (0, 10, 20, 50, and 100 μg) plus 1 mg Alum on Days 0 and 7, and were challenged with OVA aerosols (10 mg/mL for 30 min) between Days 14 and 17. Antigen‐induced AHR to methacholine (MCh), as well as histological changes, eosinophilic infiltration, and epithelial injury were assessed. Results: The result indicated that there are striking OVA dose‐related differences in antigen‐induced AHR to MCh. The most intense antigen‐induced AHR to MCh was observed with sensitization at 50 μg, while weaker responses were seen at 10, 20, and 100 μg. Meanwhile, there was a significant increase in eosinophil count with sensitization at 50 μg. The changes of AHR were correlated with total cells count, lymphocytes count, eosinophils count, and basophils count in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid; however, it did not correlate with histological changes such as cellular infiltration into bronchovascular bundles and goblet cell hyperplasia of the bronchial epithelium. Conclusion: Overall, this study demonstrated that sensitization with 50 μg of OVA resulted in the most significant AHR compared to other dosages. Myofibrillar myopathies (MFMs) are a group of genetically heterogeneous diseases affecting the skeletal and cardiac muscles. Myofibrillar myopathies are characterized by focal lysis of myogenic fibers and integration of degraded myogenic fiber products into inclusion bodies, which are typically rich in desmin and many other proteins. Herein, we report a case of a 54‐year‐old woman who experienced bilateral thigh weakness for over three years. She was diagnosed with MFMs based on muscle biopsy findings and the presence of a novel mutation in exon 8 of the LDB3 gene. Myofibrillar myopathies caused by a mutation in the LDB3 gene are extremely uncommon and often lack distinct clinical characteristics and typically exhibit a slow disease progression. When considering a diagnosis of MFMs, particularly in complex instances of autosomal dominant myopathies where muscle biopsies do not clearly indicate MFMs, it becomes crucial for clinicians to utilize genetic test as a diagnostic tool. Herein a Pd(II)‐catalyzed C−H silylation of o‐alkynylanilines with hexamethyldisilane for the synthesis of disilylated 2‐phenyl‐1H‐indoles is reported. In this reaction, o‐alkynylanilines undergo an aminopalladation, C−H activation, and dealkylation sequence to form five‐membered C,C‐palladacycles, which then couple with hexamethyldisilane to construct one C−N bond and two C−Si bonds. Increasing carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere usually reduces Earth's outgoing longwave radiation (OLR). The unusual case of Antarctica, where CO2 enhances OLR and implies a negative forcing, has previously been explained by the strong near‐surface inversion or extremely low surface temperature. However, negative forcing can occasionally be found in the Arctic and tropics where neither of these explanations applies. Here, we examine the changes in infrared opacity from CO2 doubling in these low or negative forcing climate states, which shows the predominant role of the stratospheric contribution to the broadband forcing. Negative forcing in today's climate demands a combination of strong negative forcing caused by a steep stratospheric temperature inversion and a weaker positive forcing in the atmospheric window, which can be caused by a low surface temperature or a strong high cloud masking effect. Contrary to conventional wisdom, the near‐surface inversion has little impact on the forcing. Plain Language Summary: Carbon dioxide (CO2), as an important greenhouse gas, is known to reduce the Earth's longwave emission, provoking a positive forcing that increases the net flow of energy into the Earth system. In this study, we discuss the cause of negative forcing, where CO2 increases longwave emission that happens most commonly in Antarctica and in some rare conditions in the Arctic and tropics. In contrast to conventional arguments that a near‐surface temperature increase with altitude is key to a negative CO2 forcing, we show that the stratospheric temperature and, in the tropics, clouds play a more important role. The results are based on temperature modification experiments and an analysis of the vertical structure of atmospheric emission changes. While a negative forcing does not mean the surface would cool since there are other important adjustments involved in the re‐establishment of energy balance, the results show the values of resolving the spectral dimension of radiation to quantify the radiative sensitivity to the near‐surface and stratosphere temperature structure. Light beam carrying spin angular momentum (SAM) and orbital angular momentum (OAM) have attracted great interest due to their great potential for high‐capacity optical communication, optical tweezers, and quantum information. However, the current detection methods suffer from the lack of robustness to misalignments in the optical system, which limits the detection accuracy and the application for off‐axis vortex array detection. Here, a high‐efficiency, broadband, and single‐layer metasurface design is proposed for alignment‐free angular momentum detection via spin‐independent astigmatic transformation (SIAT). The SAM and OAM states can be recognized from the diffraction direction and patterns, respectively. Proof‐of‐concept demonstrations are experimentally carried out on different incident beams including circular‐polarization, linear‐polarization, and vector vortex beams, as well as vortex beam arrays, showing a high diffraction efficiency of ≈81% at 1064 nm while operating within the broadband region of 900–1300 nm. The alignment‐free merit for the incident position, incident angle, and detector distance grants the device great potential for integrated quantum systems and multiparticle micromanipulation with optical tweezers. Mitochondrial‐rich cells (MRCs) are one of the most significant canceled type of epithelial cells. Morphologically these cells are totally different from other epithelial cells. These cells primarily implicated in sea‐water and fresh‐water adaptation, and acid–base regulation. However, in this review paper, we explored some of the most intriguing biological and immune‐related functional developmental networks of MRCs. The main pinpoint, MRCs perform a dynamic osmoregulatory and immunological functional role in the gut and male reproductive system. The Na+/K+_ATPase (NKA) and Na+/K+/2Cl cotransporter (NKCC) are key acidifying proteins of MRCs for the ion‐transporting function for intestinal homeostasis and maintenance of acidifying the luminal microenvironment in the male reproductive system. Further more importantly, MRCs play a novel immunological role through the exocrine secretion of nano‐scale exosomes and multivesicular bodies (MVBs) pathway, which is very essential for sperm maturation, motility, acrosome reaction, and male sex hormones, and these an essential events to produce male gametes with optimal fertilizing ability. This effort is expected to promote the novel immunological role of MRCs, which might be essential for nano‐scale exosome secretion. Key Clinical Message: Parathyroid lipoadenoma is a rare type of parathyroid adenoma, described as a single parathyroid adenoma with more than 50% fat on histologic examination and an unknown etiology, which is one of the rare causes of primary hyperparathyroidism. The difficulty of parathyroid lipoadenoma is mainly diagnosed by preoperative imaging localization. We hope to arouse attention to the parathyroid adenoma which is difficult to locate through our case report. The patient was a middle‐aged male with a body mass index of 38.4 kg/m2 who admitted to our hospital with a 40‐day history of an untreated thyroid nodule. We incidentally discovered parathyroid lipoadenoma in his thyroid surgery. His prognosis was good, and there were no signs of recurrence at his 12‐month follow‐up appointment. We believe that parathyroid lipoadenoma needs to rely on paraffin pathology to make a final diagnosis. This case report serves as a reminder that parathyroid lipoadenomas are also possible in patients who do not have primary hyperparathyroidism preoperatively and who have negative imaging. Clinicians must carefully examine the adipose tissue for the presence of parathyroid lipoadenomas during thyroid surgery to avoid postoperative hypoparathyroidism and persistent hypocalcaemia. Introduction: Periodontitis is the main indication for dental extraction and often leads to peri‐implantitis (PI). Alveolar ridge preservation (ARP) is an effective means of preserving ridge dimensions after extraction. However, whether PI prevalence is lower after ARP for extraction after periodontitis remains unclear. This study investigated PI after ARP in patients with periodontitis. Materials and Methods: This study explored the 138 dental implants of 113 patients. The reasons for extraction were categorized as periodontitis or nonperiodontitis. All implants were placed at sites treated using ARP. PI was diagnosed on the basis of radiographic bone loss of ≥3 mm, as determined through comparison of standardized bitewing radiographs obtained immediately after insertion with those obtained after at least 6 months. Chi‐square and two‐sample t testing and generalized estimating equations (GEE) logistic regression model were employed to identify risk factors for PI. Statistical significance was indicated by p < 0.05. Results: The overall PI prevalence was 24.6% (n = 34). The GEE univariate logistic regression demonstrated that implant sites and implant types were significantly associated with PI (premolar vs. molar: crude odds ratios [OR] = 5.27, 95% confidence intervals [CI] = 2.15–12.87, p = 0.0003; bone level vs. tissue level: crude OR = 5.08, 95% CI = 2.10–12.24; p = 0.003, respectively). After adjustment for confounding factors, the risks of PI were significantly associated with implant sites (premolar vs. molar: adjusted OR [AOR] = 4.62, 95% CI = 1.74–12.24; p = 0.002) and implant types (bone level vs. tissue level: AOR = 6.46, 95% CI = 1.67–25.02; p = 0.007). The reason for dental extraction—that is, periodontitis or nonperiodontitis—was not significantly associated with PI. Conclusion: ARP reduces the incidence of periodontitis‐related PI at extraction sites. To address the limitations of our study, consistent and prospective randomized controlled trials are warranted. Introduction: Although the prevalence of Asian chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients is not as high as that of Caucasians, there are more atypical CLLs in Asia whose genetic characteristics and their clinical significance are distinct and remain unclear. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 85 CLL samples in our center was conducted from 2019 to 2022. We used next‐generation sequencing with a 172 gene panel to explore the multi‐gene mutational data and the mutational status of immunoglobulin heavy variable (IGHV) gene. Results: MYD88 (20.0%) was the most frequently mutated gene, much higher than in Europe, followed in order by TP53 (18.8%), NOTCH1 (14.1%), IGLL5 (11.8%), and DNMT3A (8.2%). In addition, the incidence of ATM and SF3B1 mutations was relatively lower in our centre compared to Europe. Mutated (M)‐IGHV patients were more likely to have a cooccurrence of MYD88 mutation, while complex karyotype and DNMT3A mutation were more common in the unmutated (U)‐IGHV group. MYD88 mutated CLL was characterized by prevalence in young males in high‐risk staging, with isolated 13q deletion and concomitant mutation of IGLL5. CLL patients with MYD88 and TP53 mutation showed an unfavorable prognosis. Background/Aims: Discretionary, energy‐dense, nutrient‐poor food and drinks are heavily marketed and readily available in retail settings frequented by adolescents. This study examines associations between food purchasing practices in various retail settings and dietary intake among Australian adolescents. Methods: Participants were students in years 8 to 11 (ages 12‐17 years) who completed the 2009‐10 (n = 13 790), 2012‐13 (n = 10 309) or 2018 (n = 9102) National Secondary Students' Diet and Activity (NaSSDA) cross‐sectional survey. Multistage stratified random sampling was used. An online survey completed at school assessed self‐reported frequency of food purchasing practices in various retail settings and consumption of discretionary food, sugary drinks, fruit and vegetables. Generalised linear regression models examined associations between food purchasing practices and dietary behaviour. Results: Relative to students who brought lunch from home, those who purchased lunch from school or nearby outlets reported higher intake of discretionary food and sugary drinks and lower fruit intake. Buying lunch from school was also associated with lower vegetable intake. Buying food or drinks on the school commute, outside school grounds during school hours, from supermarket checkouts, and using mobile phone apps were each associated with higher discretionary food and sugary drink intake (all P <.01). Conclusions: Purchasing food or drink in various retail settings is associated with higher intake of discretionary food and drink among Australian adolescents, and some purchasing practices appeared to displace fruit and vegetable intake. 2D cell culture occupies an important place in cancer progression and drug discovery research. However, it limitedly models the "true biology" of tumors in vivo. 3D tumor culture systems can better mimic tumor characteristics for anticancer drug discovery but still maintain great challenges. Herein, polydopamine (PDA)‐modified decellularized lung scaffolds are designed and can serve as a functional biosystem to study tumor progression and anticancer drug screening, as well as mimic the tumor microenvironment. PDA‐modified scaffolds with strong hydrophilicity and excellent cell compatibility can promote cell growth and proliferation. After 96 h treatment with 5‐FU, cisplatin, and DOX, higher survival rates in PDA‐modified scaffolds are observed compared to nonmodified scaffolds and 2D systems. The E‐cadhesion formation, HIF‐1α‐mediated senescence decrease, and tumor stemness enhancement can drive drug resistance and antitumor drug screening of breast cancer cells. Moreover, there is a higher survival rate of CD45+/CD3+/CD4+/CD8+ T cells in PDA‐modified scaffolds for potential cancer immunotherapy drug screening. A systemic and local inflammatory immune imbalance is thought to be the cause of traumatic tracheal stenosis (TS). However, with CD4+ T lymphocytes being the predominant immune cells in TS, the mechanism of action and recruitment has not been described. In our research, using flow cytometry, ELISA, immunofluorescence, and Transwell chamber assays, the expression, distribution, and potential chemotactic function of CD4+ T cells in TS patients were examined before and after treatment. The results showed that the untreated group had significantly more CD4+ T cells and their secreted TGF‐β1 than the treated group. Additionally, the untreated group's CD4+ T cells showed a significant rise in CCL22 and CCL1, as well as a larger proportion of CCR4 and CCR8. CD4+ T cells and CD68+ macrophages located in TS also expressed CCL1 and CCL22. In vitro, anti‐CCL1 and anti‐CCL22 can partially block the chemoattractant effect of TS bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) on purified CD4+ T cells. The findings of this study indicated that TS contained unbalanced CD4 immune cells that were actively recruited locally by CCR4/CCL22 and CCR8/CCL1. Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD)‐induced lower back pain (LBP) is a common problem worldwide. The underlying mechanism is partially accredited to ferroptosis, based on sequencing analyses of IVDD patients from the gene expression omnibus (GEO) databases. In this study, it is shown that polydopamine nanoparticles (PDA NPs) inhibit oxidative stress‐induced ferroptosis in nucleus pulposus (NP) cells in vitro. PDA NPs scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS), chelate Fe2+ to mitigate iron overload, and regulate the expression of iron storage proteins such as ferritin heavy chain (FHC), ferritin, and transferrin receptor (TFR). More importantly, PDA NPs co‐localize with glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) around the mitochondria and suppress ubiquitin‐mediated degradation, which in turn exerts a protective function via the transformation and clearance of phospholipid hydroperoxides. PDA NPs further down‐regulate malondialdehyde (MDA) and lipid peroxide (LPO) production; thus, antagonizing ferroptosis in NP cells. Moreover, PDA NPs effectively rescue puncture‐induced degeneration in vivo by targeting ferroptosis and inhibiting GPX4 ubiquitination, resulting in the upregulation of antioxidant pathways. Objective: Polo‐like kinase 1 (PLK1), a serine/threonine‐protein kinase, functions as a potent oncogene in the initiation and progression of tumor. The aim of this study is to assess potential correlations between PLK1 expression and immune infiltration in breast cancer (BRCA) and construct a PLK1‐based immune risk model applicable for prognosis and treatment response prediction in BRCA. Methods: We collected data on PLK1 gene expression in BRCA patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. Thereafter, we analyzed the associations of PLK1 expression with immune cell infiltration and immunomodulators, and established a prognostic risk model based on seven PLK1‐associated immunomodulator genes and a nomogram for survival prediction. Results: BRCA prognosis, clinical stage progression, and tumor classification were all shown to be substantially correlated with PLK1 expression. The PLK1 gene was significantly enriched in T cell and B cell receptors and molecules of the chemokine signaling pathways. Specifically, PLK1 expression was positively correlated with the CD8+ T cell and regulatory T cell (Tregs) activation and negatively correlated with M2 macrophage infiltration. The seven‐genes‐based risk model could serve as an independent prognostic factor of BRCA. The risk model was markedly correlated with the expression of programmed cell death protein 1/programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD‐1/PD‐L1; both p < 0.001) immune checkpoints, and tumor mutation burden (TMB). High‐ and low‐risk BRCA patients identified by the risk model responded differently to anti‐PD‐1 and/or anti‐CTLA4 therapy, as well as common chemotherapy drugs, like cisplatin, paclitaxel, and gemcitabine. Conclusion: This PLK1‐based immune risk model can effectively predict the prognosis and tumor progression of BRCA, identify gene mutations, and evaluate patient's response toward immunotherapy and chemotherapy regimens. It is hypothesized that in heterostylous plant species, standardization of signals of floral attraction between different morphs is advantageous, encouraging flower visitors to switch between morphs. It remains unclear whether signals of floral attraction (floral odor and properties of nectar) are similar between morphs in distylous species pollinated by hawkmoths, and how these relate to hawkmoth behavior. We observed the behavior of visitors to distylous Luculia pinceana (Rubiaceae), collected and analyzed floral odor, and examined properties of nectar (volume, sugar concentration, and composition) of long‐styled and short‐styled morphs during the day and night. Pollinator responses to the floral scent were tested with a Y‐tube olfactometer. We conducted diurnal and nocturnal pollination treatments and six other pollination treatments to test the importance of nocturnal pollinators and to examine the self‐incompatibility system. A species of hawkmoth, Cechenena lineosa, was the effective pollinator. The floral odor was rich in methyl benzoate, and sucrose was dominant in the nectar. There were no significant differences between the two morphs in the methyl benzoate content or the properties of nectar. Flowers released more methyl benzoate and secreted larger volumes of nectar with lower sugar concentration at night than during the day. The hawkmoth had a significant preference for methyl benzoate. Luculia pinceana was partially self‐incompatible and relied on nocturnal pollinators for reproductive success. This study verifies that floral attraction signals are consistent between different morphs in this distylous species, promoting compatible pollination, and the features and the diel pattern of these signals between day and night are adapted to hawkmoth behavior. Background: Influenza virus causes significant morbidity and mortality with pandemic threat. Oleaceae Fructus Forsythiae is a medicinal herb. This study aimed to investigate antiviral effect of Phillyrin, a purified bioactive compound from this herb, and its reformulated preparation FS21 against influenza and its mechanism. Methods: Madin–Darby Canine Kidney (MDCK) cells were infected by one of six influenza viruses: five influenza A viruses (IAVs: three H1N1 and two H3N2) and one influenza B virus (IBV). Virus‐induced cytopathic effects were observed and recorded under microscope. Viral replication and mRNA transcription were evaluated by quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and protein expression by Western blot. Infectious virus production was assessed using TCID50 assay, and IC50 was calculated accordingly. Pretreatment and time‐of‐addition experiments with Phillyrin or FS21 added 1 h before or in early (0–3 h), mid (3–6 h), or late (6–9 h) stages of viral infection were performed to assess their antiviral effects. Mechanistic studies included hemagglutination and neuraminidase inhibition, viral binding and entry, endosomal acidification, and plasmid‐based influenza RNA polymerase activity. Results: Phillyrin and FS21 had potent antiviral effects against all six IAV and IBV in a dose‐dependent manner. Mechanistic studies showed that both suppressed influenza viral RNA polymerase with no effect on virus‐mediated hemagglutination inhibition, viral binding or entry, endosomal acidification, or neuraminidase activity. Conclusions: Phillyrin and FS21 have broad and potent antiviral effects against influenza viruses with inhibition of viral RNA polymerase as the distinct antiviral mechanism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Time‐restricted eating (TRE) is a new therapeutic strategy for the management of weight loss and dysmetabolic diseases. At present, TRE (8/16, 8 h eating:16 h fasting) is the most common form of TRE. Therefore, this meta‐analysis included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on TRE (8/16) in overweight and obese adults to determine its impact on body weight and metabolism. Articles reviewed from PubMed, Ovid MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register for the relevant RCTs that compared TRE (8/16) to non‐TRE in overweight and obese adults. Eight RCTs were included in this meta‐analysis. Participants following TRE (8/16) showed significant body weight reduction (mean difference [MD]: −1.48 kg, 95% confidence interval [CI]: −2.53 to −0.44) and fat mass reduction (MD: −1.09 kg, 95% CI: −1.55 to −0.63). There was no significant difference in lean mass change with TRE intervention (MD: −0.48 kg, 95% CI: −1.02 to 0.05, p =.08, I2 = 41%). The energy restriction and early TRE (eTRE) subgroups resulted in greater weight loss. TRE (8/16) showed beneficial effects on the homeostatic model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA‐IR, MD: −0.32, 95% CI: −0.59 to −0.06), but had no significant effect on other parameters of glucose metabolism and lipid profiles. In conclusion, TRE (8/16), especially eTRE, or in combination with caloric intake restriction, is a potential therapeutic strategy for weight control in overweight and obese adults. The dispersion characteristic of nanoparticles is of more interest in some engineering applications, including polymer filling, foam stability, chemical catalysis, and materials surface package. In this paper, the surface modification of SiO2 nanoparticles was carried out based on molecular dynamics simulation. The characteristics of aggregation and diffusion of SiO2 nanoparticles were explained by the radial distribution function (RDF), concentration profile, length distribution, mean squared displacement (MSD), and microscopic testing (MT). The results showed that the orbital provided by the three types of atoms (H, O, and Si) corresponding to the different bandwidths caused the energy alternation of state density. According to the results of RDF, the HO bond energy mainly provided by the water molecules showed the maximum bond energy with 463 kJ/mol. The results indicated that the bonds breakage and formation were accompanied by changes in total energy, kinetic energy, non‐bond energy, and potential energy. After the modification of SiO2 nanoparticles, the concentration profile of the water molecules decreased first at 1–8.5 Å and then increased at 8.5–17.2 Å, but the length distribution climbed to 15.7 at 0.975 Å. When the temperature reached 398 K, the peak value of the length distribution declined to 13.6 Å and the relative concentration profile of water molecules fluctuated around 1.0. With the increase of salinity, the peak value of length distribution reached 15.7 at 0.975 Å, but the concentration profile of water molecules at 3.1–9 Å decreased quickly and then gradually increased. The results of MSD and MT about water molecules presented the largest diffusion coefficient appeared at 398 K and had the best dispersion effect owing to the average kinetic energy among the molecules. Conversely, the diffusion coefficient decreased with the incremental solution salinity because the inhabitation of sodium for the motion of water molecules resulted in the ion bridging and hydrogen bonding. Aim: To investigate the impact of family history of type 2 diabetes (T2D) on the clinical phenotypes of patients with idiopathic type 1 diabetes (T1D). Methods: In clinically diagnosed T1D cases, a total of 335 idopathic T1D patients were included in the study, after excluding autoimmune T1D using islet autoantibody testing and monogenic diabetes using a custom monogenic diabetes gene panel obtained from clinically diagnosed T1D cases. A semi‐structured questionnaire was used to collect information on the presence of T2D in first‐degree relatives. The demographic and metabolic markers of idiopathic T1D patients were analysed. Subgroup analysis was performed to investigate potential interactions between T2D family history and human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genotypes. Results: A total of 18.2% of individuals with idiopathic T1D had a T2D family history, and these individuals were more likely to have features associated with T2D, such as older age of onset, higher body mass index at diagnosis, lower insulin dosage and better beta‐cell function, as indicated by higher levels of fasting C‐peptide and 2‐hour postprandial C‐peptide (all P < 0.05). Additionally, regardless of HLA susceptible genotypes, the impact of family history of T2D was consistently observed in idiopathic T1D patients. Multivariable analyses showed that T2D family history was negatively correlated with the risk of beta‐cell function failure in idiopathic T1D patients (P < 0.05). The chicken is rich in various proteins, fatty acids, polysaccharides, trace elements, and other human essential nutrients that contribute to its high nutritional value. In this study, the expression levels of nutrition‐related genes (acetyl‐CoA acyltransferase, ACAA) of native chicken breeds were investigated. The level of GgalACAA1‐2 transcripts expression in the liver of chicken was significantly higher than that of muscle and heart. Moreover, three protein extracts were isolated from the muscle, heart, and liver tissues from the chicken, and their nutritional function was evaluated in the present study. These protein extracts had excellent DPPH and hydroxyl radical scavenging capacities and exhibited significant superoxide anion scavenging ability. Moreover, the protein extracts of muscle tissue showed an important mouse splenocyte proliferation activity and could be used as an immunomodulator of natural origin. In addition, this report presented an automatic visual inspection of chicken viscera using the active contour algorithms and the image processing method for eviscerating by the parallel robot. The recognition and positioning rate of chicken viscera obtained by the proposed method could reach 96.45%. These methods provided basic data for automated poultry slaughter and segmentation, avoiding unnecessary health risks by a pathogenic microorganism, such as avian influenza, Newcastle disease virus, and coronavirus. Moreover, the internal organs of the chicken could be fully harvested by the image segmentation of automatic evisceration, which also facilitated the processing value of these internal organs as by‐products of poultry. Aims: Although the morphological assessment of melanoma is generally straightforward, diagnosis can be especially difficult when the significant morphological and immunohistochemical results overlap with those of benign and malignant melanocytic tumours and histological mimics. This study assessed the potential diagnostic utility of measuring PReferentially expressed Antigen in MElanoma (PRAME) immunohistochemically in naevi, melanomas and clear cell sarcomas (CCSs) in Chinese patients. Methods: We examined the immunohistochemical expression of PRAME in 317 melanocytic naevi, 178 primary melanomas, 72 metastatic melanomas and 19 CCSs and compared the sensitivity and specificity of PRAME immunohistochemistry (IHC) in the differential diagnosis of melanocytic tumours and histological mimics. Results: Of the 317 melanocytic naevi, 98.1%were completely negative for PRAME; six cases showed focal PRAME immunoreactivity in a minor population of lesional melanocytes. Diffuse nuclear immunoreactivity for PRAME was found in 89.9% of primary melanomas and 93.1% of metastatic melanomas. Regarding melanoma subtypes, PRAME was expressed in 100% of superficial spreading melanomas, 100% of melanomas arise in congenital naevus, 91.4% of nodular melanomas, 87.8% of acral lentigo melanomas, 80.0% of lentigo malignant melanomas, 60.0% of Spitz melanomas, 96.2% of mucosal melanomas and 80.0% of uveal melanomas. None of the two desmoplastic melanomas expressed PRAME. Of the 19 CCS cases, 89.5% were negative for PRAME and 10.5% showed focal weak PRAME immunoreactivity in a minor population of tumour cells. Conclusions: Our findings indicate that PRAME may be a useful marker to support a suspected diagnosis of melanoma. In addition, lack of PRAME expression is a valuable hint to CCS in a suspected case, and then molecular confirmation of the presence of EWSR1 rearrangement is necessary. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: We aim to familiarize the application status of metagenomic sequencing in diagnosing pulmonary infections, to compare metagenomic sequencing with traditional diagnostic methods, to conclude the advantages and limitations of metagenomic sequencing, and to provide some advice for clinical practice and some inspiration for associated researches. Data Sources: The data were obtained from peer‐reviewed literature, white papers, and meeting reports. Results: This review focused on the applications of untargeted metagenomic sequencing in lungs infected by bacteria, viruses, fungi, chlamydia pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, parasites, and other pathogens. Compared with conventional diagnostic methods, metagenomic sequencing is better in detecting novel, rare, and unexpected pathogens and being applied in co‐infections. Meanwhile, it can also provide more comprehensive information about pathogens. However, metagenomic sequencing still has limitations. Also, the situations that should be applied in and how the results should be interpreted are discussed in this review. Conclusion: Metagenomic sequencing improves efficiency to identify pathogens compared with traditional diagnostic methods and can be applied in clinical diagnosis. However, the technology of metagenomic sequencing still needs to be improved. Also, clinicians should learn more about when to use metagenomic sequencing and how to interpret its results. Objective: Evaluation of sagittal pelvic tilt is significant for hip surgeons. However, the accurate measurement of pelvic sagittal inclination (PSI) is still a challenge. The objective of this study is to propose a new method for measurement of PSI from pelvic anteroposterior radiograph based on the inverse cosine function obtained from individualized pelvic model. Methods: Collecting the imaging data of 30 patients with both pelvic CT and full‐length spine radiographs. Establishing pelvic model by customized 3D reconstruction software. The length of three groups of longitudinal and transverse line segments (A′p and B′) were measured from full‐length spine anteroposterior radiographs. The corresponding anatomical parameters, including A, B, b, ∠α, ∠γ, were measured and calculated on the same patient's pelvic model. The estimated PSI (ePSI) based on three groups of anatomical landmarks, including ePSI‐1, ePSI‐2, and ePSI‐3, were calculated by equation, ePSI=arccosA′pb*B′−∠α, and compared with the actual PSI (aPSI) measured by Surgamap software. For the reliability and validation evaluation, three observers measured these parameters in two rounds. Intra‐class correlation and inter‐class correlation were both calculated. Bland–Altman method was used to evaluate the consistency between the estimated PSI (ePSI) and the actual PSI (aPSI). Results: ePSI‐1 and ePSI‐2 showed excellent intra‐observer reliability (0.921–0.997, p < 0.001) and inter‐observer reliability (0.801–0.977, p < 0.001). ePSI‐3 had a fair inter‐observer reliability (0.239–0.823, p < 0.001). ePSI‐1 showed the strongest correlation with aPSI (r = 0.917, p < 0.001). Mean (maximum) absolute difference of ePSI‐1, ePSI‐2, and ePSI‐3 is 2.62° (7.42°), 4.23° (13.78°), and 7.74° (31.47°), respectively. The proportion of cases with absolute difference less than 5° in three groups were 86.7% (ePSI‐1), 66.7% (ePSI‐2), 56.7% (ePSI‐3). Objective: To compare the effectiveness and safety of high‐intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) versus uterine artery chemoembolization with methotrexate for the management of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP). Methods: A total of 170 women with CSP were enrolled in the retrospective cohort study from April 2016 to September 2020. One hundred women received HIFU followed by suction curettage, and 70 women were treated with uterine artery chemoembolization followed by suction curettage. Results: The median blood loss during suction curettage was 20 ml (range 2–800 ml) in the HIFU group versus 20 ml (range 5–200 ml) in the chemoembolization group (P = 0.837). The mean time for β‐human chorionic gonadotropin normalization was 28.52 ± 10.82 days versus 26.69 ± 8.97 days (P = 0.246), respectively. The mean time of menstruation recovery was 34.36 ± 10.63 days versus 31.93 ± 8.53 days (P = 0.114), respectively. The incidence of adverse effects in the HIFU group was lower than that in the chemoembolization group (P = 0.028). The median hospitalization time in the HIFU group was longer than that in the chemoembolization group (P = 0.000). Conclusion: HIFU was as effective and safe as uterine artery chemoembolization in the management of CSP, and the incidence of adverse effects was lower. Combining the characteristics of hybrid perovskites and layered materials, 2D Ruddlesden–Popper perovskites exhibit unique properties, some of which still require to be deeply understood. In this study, the vibrational signatures of such materials are analyzed by collecting experimental Raman spectra of four distinct compounds. Supported by density functional theory simulations, the role of the phenyl spacer single fluorination on the phonon modes of two similar yet different compounds, i.e., phenethylammonium lead iodide (PEAI) and 4‐fluorophenethylammonium lead iodide (PEAI‐F), is explained. In addition, this work analyzes some so‐far unreported experimental Raman peaks in the 600–1100 cm−1 range and discusses their origin in this class of 2D compounds. Aim: To determine whether the use of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) improves the pregnancy outcomes in women with inherited thrombophilia by conducting a meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials and observational studies. Methods: A systematic literature search of several databases was conducted through September 19, 2020 to identify relevant studies. The outcomes of interest included live birth and adverse pregnancy outcomes (APOs). The overall risk estimates were pooled using random‐effects meta‐analysis. Results: Ten randomized controlled trials and 12 cohort studies were included. In the meta‐analyses of randomized controlled trials, the effectiveness of LMWH‐treatment was found to be statistically significant in decreasing the risk of APOs (risk ratio [RR] = 0.76; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.61–0.95; p = 0.020), rather than in increasing the rate of live birth (RR = 1.12; 95% CI: 0.93–1.34; p = 0.230). In the meta‐analyses of cohort studies, results showed that the use of LMWH was associated with a significantly higher proportion of live birth (RR = 1.86; 95% CI: 1.09–3.19; p = 0.020) as well as a significantly lower ratio of APOs (RR = 0.46; 95% CI: 0.31–0.69; p < 0.001) in women with inherited thrombophilia. Conclusions: The use of LMWH may have a potentially beneficial effect on reducing the risk of APOs and even increasing the live birth rate in women with inherited thrombophilia. Further well‐designed clinical trials with large samples are needed to address the role of LMWH in improving pregnancy outcomes among pregnant women with inherited thrombophilia. Wastewater treatment has become a research hot issue in recent decade. Organic dyes as one of the main pollutants can change the water behavior. To deracinate the organic pollutants from wastewater, there are numerous methods have been taken into consideration. Photocatalysis is the promising strategy for the dye degradation with low cost, high efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Hence, a novel one‐dimensional (1D) magnetic Bi2Fe4O9/C@AgBr composite photocatalyst was prepared employing electrospinning, calcination, and deposition–precipitation methods. The morphology and composition of photocatalyst were characterized, as well as the photocatalytic activities of degrading methylene blue (MB) under visible light were investigated. And the results exhibited that the efficiency of Bi2Fe4O9/C@AgBr under visible light for 60 min is 97.4%. After three cycles, the degradation efficiency of MB could still reach 88.0%. Moreover, radical quenching experiment implicated superoxide radical anions as the primary active species responsible for photodegradation of MB. Background: Engineering programs have increasingly incorporated design challenges into courses. These design challenges vary in the degree to which they present complex, ill‐structured, and relevant problems, and therefore may vary in the degree to which they support students to learn to frame design problems. Purpose/Hypothesis: We characterized how first‐year engineering students with little formal design training approach problem framing. We developed design challenges informed by funds of knowledge. We compared the development of problem framing skills in first‐year students who completed these challenges to students who completed more traditional challenges and to students in capstone design. Design/Method: Students completed a pre/post performance‐based assessment of problem framing skills. We analyzed student responses in terms of design requirements, design practices, and design styles. We used descriptive statistics and correlations to characterize how students initially approached problem framing and repeated‐measures ANOVA to compare groups of students. Results: First‐year students approached framing a design problem in one of four primary ways. Compared to students in the original course, they showed growth in attending to an underlying need, considering contexts of use, and depicting design function. Compared to capstone students, they also showed growth in considering stakeholder roles and planning the next steps. Conclusions: Funds of knowledge can provide a means to evaluate possible design challenges as authentic yet accessible for first‐year students, in turn, providing opportunities to support the development of the design problem framing ability. The Cathaysian Coastal Mountains are thought to be an ancient high‐topographic feature that existed along the margin of South China. They are characterised by extensive Jurassic–Cretaceous magmatism; however, their formation mechanism and timing remains uncertain. In this paper, we present sedimentological and detrital zircon analyses from Cretaceous–Eocene strata and drainage sediments from Hainan Island. Our analyses show a change in provenance from a proximal Cathaysian Coastal arc source in Cretaceous strata to a widely distributed intra‐island granite source in the Eocene strata and modern river sediments. Reconstruction of the crustal thickness evolution for the South China margin from Eu/Eu*‐in‐zircon proxy shows significant crustal thickening during the Late Jurassic–Cretaceous, thereby suggesting the existence of the Cathaysian Coastal Mountains. Together with a compilation of detrital zircon U‐Pb ages in the northern basins of the South China Sea margin, we conclude that the Cathaysian Coastal Mountains extended from the Red River region to Taiwan along the South China margin during the Late Jurassic–Cretaceous and then collapsed/eroded from northeast to southwest during the Eocene–Miocene. This large mountain range supplied detrital sediments to the marginal basins in the northern South China Sea and formed a topographic barrier that prohibited moist Pacific air to reach the relatively arid inland area of South China during the Late Jurassic–Cretaceous. Several physical processes can conspire to generate avalanches in materials. Such processes include avalanche mechanisms like dislocation movements, friction processes by pinning magnetic domain walls, moving dislocation tangles, hole collapse in porous materials, collisions of ferroelectric and ferroelastic domain boundaries, kinks in interfaces, and many more. Known methods to distinguish between these species which allow the physical identification of multiavalanche processes are reviewed. A new approach where the scaling relationship between the avalanche energies E and amplitudes A is considered is then described. Avalanches with single mechanisms scale experimentally as E = SiAi2. The energy E reflects the duration D of the avalanche and A(t), the temporal amplitude. The scaling prefactor S depends explicitly on the duration of the avalanche and on details of the avalanche profiles. It is reported that S is not a universal constant but assumes different values depending on the avalanche mechanism. If avalanches coincide, they can still show multivalued scaling between E and A with different S‐values for each branch. Examples for this multibranching effect in low‐Ni 316L stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, polycrystalline Ni, TC21 titanium alloy, and a Fe40Mn40Co10Cr10 high‐entropy alloy are shown. Coiled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have attracted much attention thanks to their unique geometrical structure along with outstanding mechanical and thermal properties. However, the relationship between the geometrical parameters and mechanical and thermal properties of coiled CNTs remains largely unexplored. Herein, coiled CNTs are constructed with various geometries by phase‐field crystal (PFC) modeling and their mechanical and thermal properties are investigated by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. It is found that the effect of geometrical parameters of coiled CNTs on the Young's modulus can be well captured by analytical formulas derived from the mechanical spring tube model. These extensive MD simulations show that the Young's modulus of coiled CNTs increases with an increase in coil pitch l and CNT radius r, but decreases with an increase in coil radius R. Furthermore, using the nonequilibrium MD (NEMD) method, it is found that the thermal conductivity of coiled CNTs decreases with an increase in coil radius R, but increases slightly with an increase of coil pitch l and CNT radius r. Valuable insights into the mechanical and thermal properties of coiled CNTs are provided and the findings here may serve as useful guidelines for the design of coiled CNTs for device applications. Due to the scarcity of blue color in the natural food palette, synthetic blue edible colorants are commonly used in daily life. With growing awareness of environmental hazards and potential side‐effect impacts of synthetic food colorants on customers' health, synthetic blue edible colorants are no longer a good choice. Here, a strategy of mixing two edible sub‐microspheres, mesoporous hollow TiO2 sub‐microspheres or SiO2 sub‐microspheres and cuttlefish ink particles, is reported to produce mass amorphous photonic structures (APSs) with structural color. The hues can be tuned by controlling the size of mesoporous hollow TiO2 sub‐microspheres, and the saturation is strongly related to the proportion of cuttlefish ink particles. Cytotoxicity assays and evaluation of bioaccessibility in the simulated human digestive system further prove the safety of the blue structural colorants. The blue structural colorants exhibit high color visibility, thermostability, and reliable food safety, which are promising properties for food, drugs, and cosmetics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Although cisplatin is the most active drug for the treatment of ovarian cancer, majority of patients develop resistance and ultimately relapse. Enhancing the efficacy of cisplatin could represent a promising strategy to improve the clinical outcome of patients with ovarian cancer. AT7519 is a multitargeted cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitor and displays potent anticancer activities. In this work, we show that the combination of AT7519 with cisplatin is much more superior to cisplatin alone in inhibiting ovarian cancer. AT7519 at nanomolar concentrations inhibits proliferation and migration and induces apoptosis of multiple ovarian cancer cell lines. In contrast, AT7519 at the same concentrations either does not affect survival or is significantly less effective in inhibiting proliferation and migration in normal ovarian cells and fibroblast cells. AT7519 significantly augments the inhibitory effects of cisplatin in ovarian cancer cells in a dose‐dependent manner. Mechanistic studies suggest that AT7519 (i) inhibits proliferation via decreasing activities of CDK1 and 2, and via inhibiting RNA transcription; (ii) inhibits migration via suppressing epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT); and (iii) induces apoptosis via decreasing Mcl‐1 and increasing Bim in ovarian cancer cells. Using a human ovarian cancer xenograft mouse model, we confirm the in vivo efficacy of AT7519 alone, and the synergistic effects of AT7519 and cisplatin in combination, at doses that cause minimal toxicity in mice. Our findings provide systematic preclinical evidence to support the initialization of clinical trials of the AT7519 and cisplatin combination for the treatment of ovarian cancer. Objectives: Typically, prognostic capability of gene expression profiling (GEP) is studied in the context of clinical trials, for which 50%‐80% of patients are not eligible, possibly limiting the generalizability of findings to routine practice. Here, we evaluate GEP analysis outside clinical trials, aiming to improve clinical risk assessment of multiple myeloma (MM) patients. Methods: A total of 155 bone marrow samples from MM patients were collected from which RNA was analyzed by microarray. Sixteen previously developed GEP‐based markers were evaluated, combined with survival data, and studied using Cox proportional hazard regression. Results: Gene expression profiling‐based markers SKY92 and the PR‐cluster were shown to be independent prognostic factors for survival, with hazard ratios and 95% confidence interval of 3.6 [2.0‐6.8] (P <.001) and 5.8 [2.7‐12.7] (P <.01) for overall survival (OS). A multivariate model proved only SKY92 and the PR‐cluster to be independent prognostic factors compared to cytogenetic high‐risk patients, the International Staging System (ISS), and revised ISS. A substantial number of high‐risk individuals could be further identified when SKY92 was added to the cytogenetic, ISS, or R‐ISS. In the cytogenetic standard‐risk group, ISS I/II, and R‐ISS I/II, 13%, 23%, and 23% of patients with adverse survivals were identified. Conclusions: For the first time, this study confirmed the prognostic value of GEP markers outside clinical trials.
