Building on the self‐determination theory and the work of Pelletier and their colleagues, we conducted a study to examine the antecedents of mentors' interpersonal behaviors. The purpose of this study was to determine how influence from above (administrative, practice, and colleagues' pressures) and influence from below (perception of mentees' level of self‐determined motivation) were related to the mentors' motivations for their work and the mentoring relationship, and how the mentors' motivations were related to their interpersonal behaviors. In the present study (N = 600), the results of a cross‐sectional design showed that mentors who perceived greater influence from above and lower influence from below were more non‐self‐determined toward their work and the mentoring relationship. In turn, the more non‐self‐determined they were, the more they were acting in a controlling manner with their mentees. Overall, our findings supported the independent and complementary role of influences from above and from below on mentors' motivations and interpersonal behaviors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Little is known about financial toxicity in early‐phase clinical trial (EP‐CT) participants. This study sought to describe financial toxicity in EP‐CT participants and assess associations with patient characteristics and patient‐reported outcomes (PROs). Methods: Prospectively enrolled EP‐CT participants from were followed from April 2021 through January 2023. Participants completed the Comprehensive Score for Financial Toxicity (<26 = financial toxicity) at time of treatment. Quality of life (QOL), symptoms, coping, and resource concerns were surveyed. Associations of financial toxicity with patient characteristics, PROs, and clinical outcomes were explored. Results: Of 261 eligible patients, 197 completed baseline assessments (75.5%, median age = 63.4 years [31.8‐88.6], 57.4% female). Most common cancers were gastrointestinal (33.0%) and breast (20.8%). More than one third (34.0%) of patients reported financial toxicity. Patients with financial toxicity were more likely to be <65 years (70.2% vs 48.5%, p =.004), unemployed (45.5% vs 16.9%, p <.001), not have attended college (53.1% vs 26.4%, p =.002), and have income <$60,000 (59.7% vs 25.4%, p <.001). In adjusted models, patients with financial toxicity reported lower QOL (B = –6.66, p =.004) and acceptance (B = –0.78, p =.002), and increased self‐blame (B = 0.87, p <.001). They were more likely to have concerns regarding housing (10.6% vs 2.3%, p =.025), bills (31.8% vs 3.8%, p <.001), food (9.1% vs 0.8%, p =.006), and employment (21.2% vs 1.5%, p <.001). There was no difference in time on trial (hazard ratio, 1.03; p =.860) or survival (hazard ratio, 1.16; p =.496). Conclusions: More than one third of EP‐CT participants reported financial toxicity. Factors associated with financial toxicity and demonstrated novel associations among financial toxicity with QOL, coping, and resource concerns were identified, highlighting the need to address financial toxicity among this population. In this study of early‐phase clinical trial participants, more than one third report financial toxicity. Unsaturated zones are important for geotechnical design, geochemical reactions, and microbial reactions. The numerical analysis of unsaturated seepage is complex because it involves highly nonlinear partial differential equations. The permeability can vary by orders of magnitude over short vertical distances. This article defines and uses H‐convergence tests to quantify numerical errors made by uniform meshes with element size (ES) for 1D steady‐state conditions. The quantitative H‐convergence should not be confused with a qualitative mesh sensitivity study. The difference between numerical and mathematical convergences is stated. A detailed affordable method for an H‐convergence test is presented. The true but unknown solution is defined as the asymptote of the numerical solutions for all solution components when ES decreases to zero. The numerical errors versus ES are then assessed with respect to the true solution, and using a log–log plot, which indicates whether a code is correct or incorrect. If a code is correct, its results follow the rules of mathematical convergence in a mathematical convergence domain (MCD) which is smaller than the numerical convergence domain (NCD). If a code is incorrect, it has an NCD but no MCD. Incorrect algorithms of incorrect codes need to be modified and repaired. Existing codes are shown to converge numerically within large NCDs but generate large errors, up to 500%, in the NCDs, a dangerous situation for designers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aims Methods Results Conclusions Sex and gender may influence penicillin allergy label (PAL) prevalence and outcomes. This review evaluates the effectiveness and safety of direct delabelling (DD) and oral challenge (OC) for low‐risk patients and examines sex and gender differences in reporting and outcomes.We searched PubMed, Database of Abstracts of Reviews and Effects, ClinicalTrials.gov, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, International Pharmaceutical Abstracts, medRxiv, Ovid MEDLINE, and Ovid EMBASE until February 2024 for studies including DD or OC compared to no intervention, skin testing or other methods. Two reviewers assessed quality. Meta‐analyses were conducted, and subgroup analyses were carried out if I2 >   75%. Descriptive data was analysed using NVivo 14 and reported narratively.From 1046 screened studies, 28 met inclusion criteria (two RCTs, 26 quasi‐experimental studies). Sex at baseline was reported in 86% of studies, with 61% females: 18% disaggregated outcomes by sex with a female mean delabelling rate of 66%. Gender variables were not reported. OC was not found to be more or less as effective comparaed to skin testing in RCTs (risk ratio [RR] 1.04; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.95, 1.13, I2 = 74%). DD interventions had a 27% delabelling rate (95% CI 10%, 50%, I2 = 96%), with nursing staff achieving 29% (95% CI 15%, 47%, I2 = 63%) and allergists/immunologists 6% (95% CI 0.00, 0.00, I2 = 20%). Quasi‐experimental studies reported 90% delabelling for OC, with 59% by allergists/immunologists and 90% by pharmacists. Adverse events averaged 4% and were non‐severe.DD and OC are effective for delabelling low‐risk penicillin allergies. Objective: To determine ED clinician's current management for five common minor self‐limiting fractures (MSLF) and evaluate practice against evidence‐informed direct discharge pathway (DD) protocols. Methods: A survey was provided to doctors, nurse practitioners and advanced scope physiotherapists working in seven metropolitan, public health EDs in Perth, Australia. The relative odds of ED location (e.g. which facility) and clinician level factors (e.g. country of initial training, years of ED experience, profession) on recommending care completely consistent with evidence informed direct discharge pathway protocols were estimated. Results: Two hundred sixty‐two clinicians completed the survey. There was variability in practice across all sites, with most reported care assessed at 60%–76% consistency with individual elements of DD care provision. Highest consistency was seen in lower limb immobilisation and DVT prophylaxis. Lowest consistency was seen in weight bearing advice, pain management and (boxer's) fracture reduction and immobilisation. There were very low levels of complete consistency, ranging from 9% (boxer's fracture) to 25% (radial head fracture). Two factors were associated with increased odds of completely consistent care: (i) clinician experience working in ED, with greater duration of practice associated with increased odds ratios (OR range, 1.6–3.3); and (ii) profession, where advanced scope physiotherapy was associated with increased odds ratios (OR range, 3.2–25.0). Conclusions: Survey results suggested system wide variation in ED fracture management practice and target areas for service improvement. This study aimed to understand the factors predicting creative activities and creative achievements among university students. Based on a recently proposed framework of 10 creative spaces, we hypothesized that exploring those creative spaces, alongside the personality trait openness to experience and divergent thinking abilities would predict creative activities and achievements in specific domains. Using the Inventory of Creative Activities and Achievements (ICAA) to evaluate eight domains of creativity, two divergent thinking tasks, and one associative task, we analyzed a sample of n = 300 university students. The results of Structural Equation Models revealed that the creative spaces significantly predicted creative activities and creative achievements in the eight domains assessed. The model explained in average 27% of the variance in creative activities and 17% in creative achievements. Openness significantly predicted creative activities in music, literature, and arts and crafts. Intellect did not significantly predict any domain. Lastly, fluency in divergent thinking was positively associated with all domains (average coefficient of β =.15), despite not always reaching significance. Background: While faculty have previously been shown to have high levels of agreement about the competitiveness of emergency medicine (EM) standardized letters of evaluation (SLOEs), reviewing SLOEs remains a highly time‐intensive process for faculty. Artificial intelligence large language models (LLMs) have shown promise for effectively analyzing large volumes of data across a variety of contexts, but their ability to interpret SLOEs is unknown. Objective: The objective was to evaluate the ability of LLMs to rate EM SLOEs on competitiveness compared to faculty consensus and previously developed algorithms. Methods: Fifty mock SLOE letters were drafted and analyzed seven times by a data‐focused LLM with instructions to rank them based on desirability for residency. The LLM was also asked to use its own criteria to decide which characteristics are most important for residency and revise its ranking of the SLOEs. LLM‐generated rank lists were compared with faculty consensus rankings. Results: There was a high degree of correlation (r = 0.96) between the rank list initially generated by LLM consensus and the rank list generated by trained faculty. The correlation between the revised list generated by the LLM and the faculty consensus was lower (r = 0.86). Conclusions: The LLM generated rankings showed strong correlation with expert faculty consensus rankings with minimal input of faculty time and effort. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Standardized letters of evaluation (SLOEs) are an important part of residency recruitment, particularly given the limited availability of other discerning factors in residency applications. While consensus regarding SLOE competitiveness has been studied within a small group of academic faculty, it remains unexplored how a more diverse group of letter readers interpret SLOEs in terms of competitiveness. Methods: A sample of 50 real SLOEs in the new SLOE format (2022 eSLOE 2.0) were selected to match the national rating distribution and anonymized. These SLOEs were ranked in order of competitiveness by 25 faculty members representing diverse demographics, geographic regions, and practice settings. Consensus levels were assessed using previously defined criteria and compared to prior results using a cutoff of ±10% to define a significant difference in consensus levels. Two models were tested to determine their ability to predict consensus rankings: a point‐based system and a linear regression model. Results: Faculty consensus in this diverse cohort was slightly below the level measured among academic emergency medicine faculty in the prior study, though no differences were greater than the ±10% cutoff. Prediction models also performed similarly to a previous study except at the tight level of agreement, where consensus was stronger in this study compared to previous results. There is greater consensus among faculty at academic institutions than at community institutions, and years of experience was not correlated with higher consensus. Conclusions: The degree of consensus regarding competitiveness using real SLOEs was similar in this diverse national sample compared to a prior study in a smaller and more homogenous group ranking mock SLOEs. In the 2018 yellow fever (YF) outbreak in Brazil, we generated new transcriptomic data and combined it with clinical and immunological data to decode the pathogenesis of YF. Analyzing 79 patients, we found distinct gene expression patterns between acute YF, other viral infections, and the milder YF‐17D vaccine infection. We identified a critical role for low‐density, immature neutrophils in severe outcomes, marked by the downregulation of genes essential for neutrophil migration and maturation, such as PADI4, CSF3R, and ICAM1, in deceased patients. Our study also revealed complex interactions among inflammation‐related genes, including increased CXCL10 and IL1R2 expression and decreased IL‐1b expression in the acute phase. The diminished expression of HLA class II genes indicates impaired antigen presentation. These findings highlight the delicate balance of immune responses in YF pathogenesis and lay the groundwork for future therapeutic and diagnostic advancements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background and Purpose: Sonothrombolysis is a potential adjunctive therapy for large vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke. Bedside ultrasound image‐guided high‐intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therapy could deliver higher energy therapeutic ultrasound to the thrombus with higher precision than what was previously accomplished in human trials. The aim is to test the feasibility of diagnostic transcranial contrast‐enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) to image the occlusion site and continuously maintain the guidance image on‐target for a sufficient exposure time for HIFU to be effective during LVO stroke evaluation and treatment. Methods: This prospective, single center, observational cohort study included adult patients, presenting within 6 hours of stroke symptom onset, with LVO identified on computed tomography angiography (CTA). A hand‐held CEUS imaging study was initiated following CTA and lasted up to 30 minutes. The primary outcome is the proportion of patients where a guidance CEUS image of the occlusion was achieved. Results: A CEUS image of the occluded artery was obtained in 32/35 of the included patients. The median total imaging time was 23 minutes (interquartile range 15‐30). Patients undergoing thrombectomy had a lower total imaging time (17 vs. 29.5 minutes, p =.002). When imaging was successful, on‐target image was maintained for only 58% (standard deviation 23.8%) of total imaging time. No complications related to CEUS were observed. Conclusions: This feasibility study explored the use of diagnostic transcranial CEUS for continuous imaging of occlusion sites in LVO strokes. Background: Efforts to improve the quality of marginal grafts for transplantation are essential. Machine perfusion preservation appears as a promising solution. Methods: The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) database was queried for deceased liver donor records between 2016 and 2022. The primary outcome of interest was the organ nonutilization rate. Long‐term graft and patient survival among extended criteria donors (ECDs) were also analyzed. Results: During the study period, out of 54 578 liver grafts recovered for transplant, 5085 (9.3%) were nonutilized. Multivariable analysis identified normothermic machine perfusion (NMP) preservation as the only predictor associated with a reduction in graft nonutilization (OR = 0.12; 95% CI = 0.06–0.023, p < 0.001). Further analysis of ECD grafts that were transplanted revealed comparable 1‐,2‐ and 3‐years graft survival (89%/88%/82% vs. 90%/85%/81%, p = 0.60), and patient survival (92%/91%/84% vs. 92%/88%/84%, p = 0.65) between grafts that underwent MP vs. those who did not, respectively. Conclusions: Liver nonutilization rates in the United States are at an all‐time high. Available data, most likely including cases from clinical trials, showed that NMP reduced the odds of organ nonutilization by 12% among the entire deceased donor pool and by 16% among grafts from ECD. Collective efforts and further evidence reflecting day‐to‐day clinical practice are needed to fully reach the potential of MP for liver transplant. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background Methods Results Conclusion Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis (CRSwNP) is associated with a high rate of disease recurrence following endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS). Type 2 disease is associated with a higher incidence of recurrence and is believed to impact disease resolution via interference with epithelial healing and pathogen immunity. We wished to verify if perioperative control of Type 2 inflammation with an anti‐IL4/IL13 targeting monoclonal antibody and during the resolution period following surgery leads to better control of the disease long term.In this prospective, placebo‐controlled, double‐blinded trial. Thirty adult subjects with recurrent CRSwNP underwent ESS plus or minus 14 weeks of perioperative dupilumab, initiated 4 weeks (two injections) pre‐ESS. Subjective and objective parameters of nasal patency, olfaction, quality of life (QoL), and adverse events were monitored up to 52 weeks post‐ESS. Microbiological culture was performed to characterize pathogens colonization under both conditions.ESS safely improved subjective and objective measures of nasal patency, olfaction, and QoL in both groups. Olfaction was conserved longer in the dupilumab‐treated group, with 33.3% of subjects presenting anosmia at 12 months after ESS in the dupilumab group compared to 50.0% with placebo. This was associated with persistent decreases in serum IgE, which were not seen with placebo treatment. No unusual safety signals were observed.Short‐course adjuvant perioperative treatment with dupilumab is associated with improved long‐term olfactory outcomes and persistent lowering of serum IgE. Most eukaryotic genes generate multiple messenger RNA (mRNA) transcript variants by alternative splicing. The incomplete annotation of gene transcripts in genomic databases can result in improper primer design, adversely affecting the reliability of gene expression measurements by reverse transcriptase quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT‐qPCR). Hence, we present a workflow combining bioinformatics analyses, to select two to three evolutionarily conserved constitutive exons in rats, mice and humans as target sequences for PCR primer design, with experimental RT‐PCR amplification and amplicon sequencing to confirm the expression and identity of gene transcript targets. The application of this workflow to the characterization of neurodevelopmental biomarker genes identified an unannotated exon in the rat Map2 gene, illustrating the importance of target sequence validation for the development of translational mRNA biomarkers for toxicological and biomedical studies. Background: Emergency medicine (EM) has introduced a new, competency‐based standardized letter of evaluation (SLOE) template. While a previous version of the SLOE has been shown to promote a high degree of faculty consensus regarding competitiveness, this has not been shown for the new SLOE template. Objective: The objective was to evaluate faculty consensus on competitiveness for the new EM SLOE 2.0. Methods: Fifty mock SLOE 2.0 letters using the new template were drafted and sent to a group of experienced EM educators. The 50 letters were ranked by the experienced faculty as well as a point‐based prediction model and a regression model and the results were compared. Results: Faculty consensus on competitiveness remained strong when using the new SLOE 2.0 format. The points‐based prediction model and regression model both demonstrated a high level of agreement with faculty consensus rankings for the SLOE 2.0. Conclusions: Introduction of the new, competency‐based SLOE 2.0 format did not have a deleterious effect on faculty consensus rankings of competitiveness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Super‐resolution structured‐illumination microscopy (SIM) is a powerful technique that allows one to surpass the diffraction limit by up to a factor two. Yet, its practical use is hampered by its sensitivity to imaging conditions which makes it prone to reconstruction artefacts. In this work, we present FlexSIM, a flexible SIM reconstruction method capable to handle highly challenging data. Specifically, we demonstrate the ability of FlexSIM to deal with the distortion of patterns, the high level of noise encountered in live imaging, as well as out‐of‐focus fluorescence. Predation has direct effects on prey population dynamics through mortality, and it can induce indirect effects through fear. The indirect effects of predation have been documented experimentally, but few studies have quantified them in nature so that their role in prey population dynamics remains controversial. Given the expanding or reintroduced populations of large predators in many areas, the quantification of indirect effects of predation is crucial. We sought to evaluate the direct and indirect fitness effects of intense cougar (Puma concolor) predation using 48 years of data on marked bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) on Ram Mountain, Alberta, Canada. We compared years of intense cougar predation with years with no or occasional cougar predation. We first quantified the effects of predation on neonatal, weaning, and overwinter lamb survival, three metrics potentially affected by direct and indirect effects. We then investigated the possible indirect effects of intense cougar predation on lamb production, female summer mass gain, and lamb mass at weaning. We found strong effects of cougar predation on lamb survival, lamb production, and seasonal mass gain of lambs and adult females. In years with high predation, neonatal, weaning, and overwinter lamb survival declined by 18.4%, 19.7% and 20.8%, respectively. Indirect effects included a 14.2% decline in lamb production. Female summer mass gain decreased by 15.6% and lamb mass at weaning declined by 8.0% in years of intense cougar predation. Our findings bring key insights on the impacts of predation on prey fitness by reporting moderate to large effects on recruitment and illustrate the importance of indirect effects of predation on population dynamics. Dry ice is one of the world's most in‐demand commodities for cold chain distribution of temperature sensitive products in insulated shippers. A commonly used rule of thumb is that dry ice sublimates about 8% every 24 h, without consideration for dry ice type, size, or geometry. This study explored sublimation rates of dry ice composition (binding agent and density), age, and geometry (size and shape). Dry ice block manufacturing often involves dosing propylene glycol‐water "binder" solution to liquid carbon dioxide. Tests performed in this study revealed that the binding agent did not influence the dry ice sublimation rate. Dry ice density was found to impact sublimation rate. Fresh and aged blocks of similar dimensions and mass were found to have similar performance outcomes. Mass loss curves for pellets and various sized dry ice blocks showed a dependence on surface area and volume. Chunked blocks and pellets with and without binding agent sublimated at similar rates of 2.84 and 2.53% h−1 (w/w), respectively, whereas block varieties with significantly lower surface area to volume ratios had lower sublimation rates of 0.98–1.60% h−1. Background: Given the importance of the standardized letter of evaluation (SLOE) for application to emergency medicine (EM) residency, it is important that SLOE developers and authors understand how reviewers determine SLOE competitiveness. To inform SLOE design and authorship, the authors set out to build a novel theory to explain how faculty holistically interpret SLOE competitiveness. Methods: The authors used constructivist grounded theory to explore how EM faculty determine SLOE competitiveness. They used purposive sampling to recruit EM faculty participants with at least 1 year of experience in scoring SLOEs. One author conducted hour‐long, semistructured interviews over Zoom between August 2023 and March 2024. Two authors iteratively coded the data to develop the initial codebook, organize codes into categories, and build connections to construct the resulting theory. Results: The authors interviewed 11 EM faculty from throughout the United States. Participants described a complex process to determine SLOE competitiveness. They began by contextualizing the SLOE to determine its trustworthiness and value before using various components of the SLOE to stratify and refine their understanding of competitiveness. Finally, when participants noted the inconsistency between different aspects of the SLOE, they used various methods to reconcile discordances and determine competitiveness. Conclusions: This study illuminates the framework used by EM faculty to determine applicant competitiveness based on the SLOE and highlights several factors that SLOE authors should consider to ensure the accurate and efficient transfer of information. SUMMARY: Much progress has been made in understanding the molecular mechanisms of plant adaptation to heat stress. However, the great diversity of models and stress conditions, and the fact that analyses are often limited to a small number of approaches, complicate the picture. We took advantage of a liquid culture system in which Arabidopsis seedlings are arrested in their development, thus avoiding interference with development and drought stress responses, to investigate through an integrative approach seedlings' global response to heat stress and acclimation. Seedlings perfectly tolerate a noxious heat shock (43°C) when subjected to a heat priming treatment at a lower temperature (38°C) the day before, displaying a thermotolerance comparable to that previously observed for Arabidopsis. A major effect of the pre‐treatment was to partially protect energy metabolism under heat shock and favor its subsequent rapid recovery, which was correlated with the survival of seedlings. Rapid recovery of actin cytoskeleton and mitochondrial dynamics were another landmark of heat shock tolerance. The omics confirmed the role of the ubiquitous heat shock response actors but also revealed specific or overlapping responses to priming, heat shock, and their combination. Since only a few components or functions of chloroplast and mitochondria were highlighted in these analyses, the preservation and rapid recovery of their bioenergetic roles upon acute heat stress do not require extensive remodeling of the organelles. Protection of these organelles is rather integrated into the overall heat shock response, thus allowing them to provide the energy required to elaborate other cellular responses toward acclimation. Significance Statement: With increasing heat waves, we need to understand the mechanisms of acclimation. Using Arabidopsis seedlings, we show that the partial protection of respiration and photosynthesis and their rapid recovery upon heat shock induced by heat priming are primordial for survival. This does not require extensive remodeling in mitochondria and chloroplasts, the energy‐transducing organelles. Reading skills are considered an important lever for success in school and active participation in society. They are positively associated with reading motivation, reading self‐concept, reading frequency, and behavioral engagement in reading (e.g., time, effort), variables that tend to decline as students move from elementary to secondary school. Few studies have yet compared the contributions of reading support from teachers, parents, and friends to each of these variables among students of different age groups. In this multicohort correlational study, students (n = 1246) in grades 4, 6, 8, and 10 completed a questionnaire measuring the reading support they perceived receiving from three social agents (teacher, parents, and friends) as well as variables related to reading in academic and recreational contexts. The data collected were used to evaluate the construct relevance and predictive validity of the questionnaire. The results suggest that: (1) Reading support can be conceptualized in nine dimensions defined according to the source that provides it (e.g., teachers) and the type to which it corresponds (e.g., relatedness support); (2) secondary school students overall consider that they receive less reading support than do elementary school students; (3) reading support from teacher has unique contributions to certain variables measured in the academic context without, however, having as many positive contributions as parents in this context; (4) reading support provided by parents and friends is important in both reading contexts, particularly in the recreational context. Methodological, theoretical, and practical implications are discussed. Reading skills are considered an important lever for success in school and active participation in society. They are positively associated with reading motivation, reading self‐concept, reading frequency, and behavioral engagement in reading (e.g., time, effort), variables that tend to decline as students move from elementary to secondary school. New or infrequently contacted stimuli may present challenges for people with intellectual disabilities (ID) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Throughout the Covid‐19 pandemic, facemasks emerged as a new stimulus that may cause distress, especially for those who may not understand the need for a mask. Further, the inability to tolerate wearing a facemask could limit safe access to public locations for people with ID and ASD. Most approaches to increasing health routines involve some form of escape extinction, a practice that may not be feasible or safe for some individuals and in some settings. As an alternative, approaches based on adapting stimulus features, including preferences, and positive reinforcement, may produce equally effective interventions. To evaluate this, we first assessed preference of eight adults with ID living in a residential facility, for four different types of facemasks and the standard facility face masks. Access to a variety of masks increased mask‐wearing for two participants. We then evaluated reinforcement schedule manipulations without escape extinction to increase mask wearing for four participants from Study 1. Background: The factors underlying the topography of nitrous oxide (N2O)‐induced neurological complications are unknown. Methods: We included all consecutive patients admitted to the university hospital of Marseille for N2O‐induced neurological complications in a prospective observational study. Patients underwent neurological examination, spinal cord magnetic resonance imaging, and nerve conduction studies within the first 4 weeks after admission. Results: In total, 61 patients were included: 45% with myeloneuropathy, 34% with isolated myelopathy, and 21% with isolated neuropathy. On multivariable analysis, the odds of myelopathy were associated with the amount of weekly N2O consumption (~600 g cylinder per week, odds ratio [OR] = 1.11, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.001–1.24). The extent of the myelopathy (number of vertebral segments) was correlated with the number of ~600‐g cylinders consumed weekly (ρ = 0.40, p < 0.005). The odds of neuropathy were associated with the duration of consumption (per month; OR = 1.29, 95% CI = 1.05–1.58). Mean lower‐limb motor nerve amplitude was correlated with the duration of consumption (in months; ρ = −0.34, p < 0.05). Conclusions: The odds of myelopathy increased with the amount of N2O consumption, and the odds of neuropathy increased with the duration of N2O exposure, which suggests distinct pathophysiological mechanisms underlying these two neurological complications. The electrophilic activation of 2H‐azirines with triflic anhydride (Tf2O) for an addition/cyclization reaction producing 2‐aryl‐pyrido[2,3‐b]pyrazines regioselectively is described. This reaction proceeds via nucleophilic addition of 3‐amino‐2‐fluoropyridines onto 1‐trifloyl‐aziridin‐2‐yl triflates and subsequent cyclization via SNAr. Desulfonylation and oxidation provides a single regioisomer of the aza‐bicyclic heterocycle after treatment with Et3N. Harvest regulations commonly attenuate the consequences of hunting on specific segments of a population. However, regulations may not protect individuals from non‐lethal effects of hunting and their consequences remain poorly understood. In this study, we compared the movement rates of Scandinavian brown bears (Ursus arctos, n = 47) across spatiotemporal variations in risk in relation to the onset of bear hunting. We tested two alternative hypotheses based on whether behavioural responses to hunting involve hiding or escaping. If bears try to reduce risk exposure by avoiding being detected by hunters, we expect individuals from all demographic groups to reduce their movement rate during the hunting season. On the other hand, if bears avoid hunters by escaping, we expect them to increase their movement rate in order to leave high‐risk areas faster. We found an increased movement rate in females accompanied by dependent offspring during the morning hours of the bear hunting season, a general decrease in movement rate in adult lone females, and no changes in males and subadult females. The increased movement rate that we observed in females with dependant offspring during the hunting season was likely an antipredator response because it only occurred in areas located closer to roads, whereas the decreased movement rate in lone females could be either part of seasonal activity patterns or be associated with an increased selection for better concealment. Our study suggests that female brown bears accompanied by offspring likely move faster in high‐risk areas to minimize risk exposure as well as the costly trade‐offs (i.e. time spent foraging vs. time spent hiding) typically associated with anti‐predator tactics that involve changes in resource selection. Our study also highlights the importance of modelling fine‐scale spatiotemporal variations in risk to adequately capture the complexity in behavioural responses caused by human activities in wildlife. The study of the contemporary history of geography through the prism of the sociology of professions makes it possible to explore geographers' professional paths as objects of sociohistorical enquiry. Through the analysis of archival documents, three periods have been delineated, thus showing the contextual nature of the debates surrounding the presence of geographers in the workplace. From 1945 to 1962, we observe the gradual division of geography into three categories of distinct social realms: schools, university, and the professional environment. From 1963 to 1978, we witness the rise and fall of a controversial collective project, namely the foundation of a provincial accreditation board for Quebec's geographers. From 1979 to the end of the 20th century, we can notice the evolution of the "Association des géographes du Québec", which became the "Association professionnelle des géographes du Québec" in 1985. Despite the failure of the accreditation body project, the association reveals itself as a place of democratic representation and defence of applied geography and geographer's expertise. Satellite propulsion uses liquid mono or bi‐propellants composed of a hydrazine in combination with a strong oxidant. However, hydrazines are highly toxic. As a result, many research efforts for more environmentally compatible propellants have been made over the past decade. In this study we evidence green formulations that retain high propulsive performances. They are based on the dinitramide anion. From an initial library of 37 ammonium dinitramides 3 best candidates were selected after evaluation of their potential syntheses, calculated theoretical performances, experimental synthesis optimizations and decomposition temperatures. These three salts were then formulated to obtain acceptable sensitivities and melting points, which eventually led to only one formulation being retained: a 40 : 60 mixture of dimethylammonium dinitramide and ammonium dinitramide phlegmatized by 10 % of glycerol. Background: Given the limited access to invasive vasospastic reactivity testing in Western Countries, there is a need to further develop alternative non‐invasive diagnostic methods for vasospastic angina (VSA). Hyperventilation testing (HVT) is defined as a class IIa recommendation to diagnose VSA by the Japanese Society of Cardiology. Methods: In this systematic review and meta‐analysis reported according to the PRISMA statement, we review the mechanisms, methods, modalities and diagnostic accuracy of non‐invasive HVT for the diagnostic of VSA. Results: A total of 106 articles published between 1980 and 2022 about VSA and HVT were included in the systematic review, among which 16 were included in the meta‐analysis for diagnostic accuracy. Twelve electrocardiogram‐HVT studies including 804 patients showed a pooled sensitivity of 54% (95% confidence intervals [CI]; 30%–76%) and a pooled specificity of 99% (95% CI; 88%–100%). Four transthoracic echocardiography‐HVT studies including 197 patients revealed a pooled sensitivity of 90% (95% CI; 82%–94%) and a pooled specificity of 98% (95% CI; 86%–100%). Six myocardial perfusion imaging‐HVT studies including 112 patients yielded a pooled sensitivity of 95% (95% CI; 63%–100%) and a pooled specificity of 78% (95% CI; 19%–98%). Non‐invasive HVT resulted in a low rate of adverse events, ventricular arrhythmias being the most frequently reported, and were resolved with the administration of nitroglycerin. Conclusions: Non‐invasive HVT offers a safe alternative with high diagnostic accuracy to diagnose VSA in patients with otherwise undiagnosed causes of chest pain. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Although focused interests are often associated with a diagnosis of autism, they are common in nonautistic individuals as well. Previous studies have explored how these interests impact cognitive, social, and language development. While some research has suggested that strong interests can detract from learning (particularly for autistic children), newer research has indicated that they can be advantageous. In this pre‐registered study, we asked whether focused interests support word learning in 44 autistic children and a vocabulary‐matched sample of 44 nonautistic children (mean ages 58 and 34 months respectively). In a word‐learning task administered over Zoom, children were exposed to an action labeled by a novel word. The action was either depicted by their focused interest or by a neutral image; stimuli were personalized for each child. At test, they were asked to identify the referent of the novel word, and their eye gaze was evaluated as a measure of learning. The preregistered analyses revealed an effect of focused interests, and post‐hoc analyses clarified that autistic children learned the novel word in both the focused interest and neutral conditions, while nonautistic children only showed evidence of learning in the neutral condition. These results suggest that focused interests are not disruptive for vocabulary learning in autism, and thus they could be utilized in programming that supports early language learning in this population. The emergency medicine specialty experienced a significant increase in unfilled residency positions in the 2022 and 2023 National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Main Residency Match. This was attributed to an excess supply of positions, a decrease in student demand for emergency medicine, and issues with the recruitment process. Data from various sources indicate that there is a mismatch between the number of applicants and available positions. Proposed solutions include addressing the pipeline problem, modifying interview behaviors, considering program contractions, and making policy changes. An important cause of stunting is limited consumption of complementary foods, in terms of both quantities and nutrients. Although existing studies show a positive association between fathers' engagement and children's diet, programmes designed to improve complementary feeding practices often only target mothers. In response to this, maternal behaviour change communication (BCC), paternal BCC and food voucher programmes were designed and implemented in Ethiopia using a clustered randomized controlled trial design. The paternal BCC programme included gender‐equal messages to increase fathers' participation in childcare, household labour and decision making. The research reported in this paper is an examination of the BCC programmes, characterizing the behavioural, normative and control beliefs of both mothers and fathers in BCC households compared to those in control households. In this study, a total of 40 participants were included, with 13 mother–father pairs in the BCC + food voucher group, and seven pairs in the control group. Each participant was interviewed separately. We found that BCC mothers showed more gender‐equal tendencies than the control mothers despite being more rural in location. By contrast, the beliefs of BCC and control fathers were similar overall, suggesting men are more resistant to gender‐equal BCC. More work is needed to develop and test effective methods for changing fathers' beliefs and practices. Drought‐induced groundwater decline and warming associated with climate change are primary threats to dryland riparian woodlands. We used the extreme 2012–2019 drought in southern California as a natural experiment to assess how differences in water‐use strategies and groundwater dependence may influence the drought susceptibility of dryland riparian tree species with overlapping distributions. We analyzed tree‐ring stable carbon and oxygen isotopes collected from two cottonwood species (Populus trichocarpa and P. fremontii) along the semi‐arid Santa Clara River. We also modeled tree source water δ18O composition to compare with observed source water δ18O within the floodplain to infer patterns of groundwater reliance. Our results suggest that both species functioned as facultative phreatophytes that used shallow soil moisture when available but ultimately relied on groundwater to maintain physiological function during drought. We also observed apparent species differences in water‐use strategies and groundwater dependence related to their regional distributions. P. fremontii was constrained to more arid river segments and ostensibly used a greater proportion of groundwater to satisfy higher evaporative demand. P. fremontii maintained ∆13C at pre‐drought levels up until the peak of the drought, when trees experienced a precipitous decline in ∆13C. This response pattern suggests that trees prioritized maintaining photosynthetic processes over hydraulic safety, until a critical point. In contrast, P. trichocarpa showed a more gradual and sustained reduction in ∆13C, indicating that drought conditions induced stomatal closure and higher water use efficiency. This strategy may confer drought avoidance for P. trichocarpa while increasing its susceptibility to anticipated climate warming. Microbes affect the global carbon cycle that influences climate change and are in turn influenced by environmental change. Here, we use data from a long‐term whole‐ecosystem warming experiment at a boreal peatland to answer how temperature and CO2 jointly influence communities of abundant, diverse, yet poorly understood, non‐fungi microbial Eukaryotes (protists). These microbes influence ecosystem function directly through photosynthesis and respiration, and indirectly, through predation on decomposers (bacteria and fungi). Using a combination of high‐throughput fluid imaging and 18S amplicon sequencing, we report large climate‐induced, community‐wide shifts in the community functional composition of these microbes (size, shape, and metabolism) that could alter overall function in peatlands. Importantly, we demonstrate a taxonomic convergence but a functional divergence in response to warming and elevated CO2 with most environmental responses being contingent on organismal size: warming effects on functional composition are reversed by elevated CO2 and amplified in larger microbes but not smaller ones. These findings show how the interactive effects of warming and rising CO2 levels could alter the structure and function of peatland microbial food webs—a fragile ecosystem that stores upwards of 25% of all terrestrial carbon and is increasingly threatened by human exploitation. Objective: The radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS) represents the earliest detectable preclinical phase of multiple sclerosis (MS). Increasing evidence suggests that the central vein sign (CVS) enhances lesion specificity, allowing for greater MS diagnostic accuracy. This study evaluated the diagnostic performance of the CVS in RIS. Methods: Patients were prospectively recruited in a single tertiary center for MS care. Participants with RIS were included and compared to a control group of sex and age‐matched subjects. All participants underwent 3 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging, including postcontrast susceptibility‐based sequences, and the presence of CVS was analyzed. Sensitivity and specificity were assessed for different CVS lesion criteria, defined by proportions of lesions positive for CVS (CVS+) or by the absolute number of CVS+ lesions. Results: 180 participants (45 RIS, 45 MS, 90 non‐MS) were included, representing 5285 white matter lesions. Among them, 4608 were eligible for the CVS assessment (970 in RIS, 1378 in MS, and 2260 in non‐MS). According to independent ROC comparisons, the proportion of CVS+ lesions performed similarly in diagnosing RIS from non‐MS than MS from non‐MS (p = 0.837). When a 6‐lesion CVS+ threshold was applied, RIS lesions could be diagnosed with an accuracy of 87%. MS could be diagnosed with a sensitivity of 98% and a specificity of 83%. Adding OCBs or Kappa index to CVS biomarker increased the specificity to 100% for RIS diagnosis. Interpretation: This study shows evidence that CVS is an effective imaging biomarker in differentiating RIS from non‐MS, with similar performances to those in MS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: This study assessed the relationship between speech and language impairment and outcome in a multicenter cohort of isolated/idiopathic rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder (iRBD). Methods: Patients with iRBD from 7 centers speaking Czech, English, German, French, and Italian languages underwent a detailed speech assessment at baseline. Story‐tale narratives were transcribed and linguistically annotated using fully automated methods based on automatic speech recognition and natural language processing algorithms, leading to the 3 distinctive linguistic and 2 acoustic patterns of language deterioration and associated composite indexes of their overall severity. Patients were then prospectively followed and received assessments for parkinsonism or dementia during follow‐up. The Cox proportional hazard was performed to evaluate the predictive value of language patterns for phenoconversion over a follow‐up period of 5 years. Results: Of 180 patients free of parkinsonism or dementia, 156 provided follow‐up information. After a mean follow‐up of 2.7 years, 42 (26.9%) patients developed neurodegenerative disease. Patients with higher severity of linguistic abnormalities (hazard ratio [HR = 2.35]) and acoustic abnormalities (HR = 1.92) were more likely to develop a defined neurodegenerative disease, with converters having lower content richness (HR = 1.74), slower articulation rate (HR = 1.58), and prolonged pauses (HR = 1.46). Dementia‐first (n = 16) and parkinsonism‐first with mild cognitive impairment (n = 9) converters had higher severity of linguistic abnormalities than parkinsonism‐first with normal cognition converters (n = 17). Interpretation: Automated language analysis might provide a predictor of phenoconversion from iRBD into synucleinopathy subtypes with cognitive impairment, and thus can be used to stratify patients for neuroprotective trials. Humans have exploited wild animals for thousands of years. Recent studies indicate that harvest‐induced selection on life‐history and morphological traits may lead to ecological and evolutionary changes. Less attention has been given to harvest‐induced selection on behavioural traits, especially in terrestrial systems. We assessed in a wild population of large terrestrial mammals whether decades of hunting led to harvest‐induced selection on trappability, a proxy of risk‐taking behaviour. We investigated links between trappability, horn growth and survival across individuals in early life and quantified the correlations between early‐life trappability and horn growth with availability to hunters and probability of being shot. We found positive among‐individual correlations between early‐life trappability and horn growth, early‐life trappability and survival and early‐life horn growth and survival. Faster growing individuals were more likely to be available to hunters and shot at a young age. We found no correlations between early‐life trappability and availability to hunters or probability of being shot. Our results show that correlations between behaviour and growth can occur in wild terrestrial population but may be context dependent. This result highlights the difficulty in formulating general predictions about harvest‐induced selection on behaviour, which can be affected by species ecology, harvesting regulations and harvesting methods used. Future studies should investigate mechanisms linking physiological, behavioural and morphological traits and how this effects harvest vulnerability to evaluate the potential for harvest to drive selection on behaviour in wild animal populations. Background: IgG4‐related disease (IgG4‐RD) represents a recently characterized multisystemic fibroinflammatory condition that can manifest a spectrum of skin findings (IgG4‐related skin disease; IgG4‐RSD). Histopathologic and immunohistochemical criteria have been proposed; however, the specificity of these criteria merits scrutiny given the potential histopathologic overlap of IgG4‐RSD and both neoplastic and inflammatory skin conditions featuring lymphoplasmacytic infiltrates (IgG4‐RSD mimics). This study sought to assess the specificity of the criteria by quantifying the frequency by which an expanded spectrum of IgG4‐RSD mimics meet proposed thresholds. Methods: Following IRB approval, a total of 69 cases of IgG4‐RD mimics, representing 14 different diagnoses featuring plasma cells, were reviewed and analyzed for the following histopathologic and immunohistochemical features: (i) maximum IgG4+ count/high‐powered field (hpf) >200; (ii) IgG4/IgG ratio >0.4 averaged over 3 hpfs; (iii) IgG4+ count >10 per hpf. Results: Screening for IgG4‐RSD by histopathologic criteria demonstrated the high frequency of lymphoplasmacytic infiltrates, contrasted with the rarity of storiform fibrosis (only one case of erythema elevatum diutinum [EED]) and obliterative phlebitis (0 cases). By immunohistochemical criteria, the analysis revealed that no cases exceeded 200 IgG4+ cells; 13% (9/69) cases demonstrated an IgG4/IgG ratio of >0.4 averaged over 3 hpfs; and 23% (16/69) cases demonstrated a mean IgG4+ count of >10 per hpf. Conclusion: Application of proposed IgG4‐RSD histopathologic criteria to an expanded spectrum of potential IgG4‐RSD mimics (to include cutaneous marginal zone lymphoma, syphilis, necrobiosis lipoidica, lichen sclerosus, ALHE, psoriasis, lymphoplasmacytic plaque, EED, and erosive pustular dermatosis), highlights the relative nonspecificity of lymphoplasmacytic infiltrates contrasted with the stringency of storiform fibrosis and obliterative fibrosis. Furthermore, an IgG4+ cell count of >10 per hpf and an IgG4/IgG ratio of >0.4 are not specific to IgG4‐RSD alone. In the appropriate clinical context for IgG4‐RSD, histopathologic features still represent the entry threshold for diagnosis consideration, which then allows for further screening by immunohistochemical criteria. Aims: Follicular helper T‐cell (TFH) lymphoma of the angioimmunoblastic‐type (AITL), one of the most prevalent T‐cell lymphomas, typically encompasses proliferation of high endothelial venules and Epstein–Barr virus‐positive immunoblasts, but neither infection with HHV8 nor association with Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) have been described. The aims of this study are to characterise the association between AITL and HHV8 infection or KS. Methods and results: Three male patients aged 49–76 years, HIV‐negative, with concurrent nodal involvement by AITL and KS, were identified from our files and carefully studied. Two patients originated from countries where endemic KS occurs, including one with cutaneous KS. The lymphomas featured abundant vessels, expanded follicular dendritic cells and neoplastic TFH cells [PD1+ (three of three), ICOS+ (three of three), CXCL13+ (three of three), CD10+ (two of three), BCL6 (two of three)] but lacked EBV+ immunoblasts. The foci of KS consisted of subcapsular proliferations of ERG+, CD31+ and/or CD34+, HHV8+ spindle cells. High‐throughput sequencing showed AITL‐associated mutations in TET2 (three of three), RHOA (G17V) (three of three) and IDH2 (R172) (two of three), which were absent in the microdissected KS component in two cases. Relapses in two patients consisted of AITL, without evidence of KS. No evidence of HHV8 infection was found in a control group of 23 AITL cases. Conclusion: Concurrent nodal involvement by AITL and KS is rare and identification of both neoplastic components may pose diagnostic challenges. The subduction zones in the SW Pacific Ocean are some of the most dynamic plate boundaries on Earth with changes in subduction polarity and subduction initiation processes. The New Hebrides island arc formed some 10 million years ago after the Melanesian island arc was abandoned due to the cessation of subduction of the Pacific Plate after collision of oceanic plateaus with the island arc. Parts of the Melanesian island arc occur within the New Hebrides island arc and we show that Miocene volcanic rocks exposed on Malekula island in the New Hebrides island arc consist of island arc tholeiites to alkaline basalts with variable slab contribution. The lava erupted between 22.5 and 16.3 Ma, similar to the Wainimala Group lavas on Fiji representing the eastern portion of the Melanesian island arc. Partial melts from subducted sediments affected a Pacific MORB‐type mantle, but we do not find evidence for a slab component derived from the Ontong Java Plateau or for assimilation of continental crust. Thus, no Miocene subduction of the Ontong Java Plateau occurred beneath Malekula and the basement of the island probably does not consist of continental crust rifted from Australia. The Malekula lava succession resembles that of other portions of the Miocene Melanesian island arc between New Britain and Fiji, indicating continuous subduction of the Pacific plate along this arc. Rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (RBD) is the strongest prodromal marker for α‐synucleinopathies. The Horvath DNA methylation age (DNAm‐age) is an epigenetic clock reflecting biological aging. We found an association of DNAm‐age acceleration with RBD age at onset at baseline (N = 162, B = −0.68, standard error [SE] = 0.12, p = 2.59e‐08) and follow‐up (n = 45, B = −1.07, SE = 0.21, p = 9.73e‐06). The result remained similar after accounting for genetic risk factors (eg, RBD polygenic risk score). On average, RBD patients with faster versus slow/normal epigenetic aging had a 5.2‐year earlier phenoconversion, and the Cox regression analysis revealed a trend toward significance (n = 53, hazard ratio = 1.05, 95% confidence interval = 0.99–1.11, p = 0.06). INTRODUCTION: Isolated/idiopathic rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) is a powerful early predictor of dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and Parkinson's disease (PD). This provides an opportunity to directly observe the evolution of prodromal DLB and to identify which cognitive variables are the strongest predictors of evolving dementia. METHODS: IRBD participants (n = 754) from 10 centers of the International RBD Study Group underwent annual neuropsychological assessment. Competing risk regression analysis determined optimal predictors of dementia. Linear mixed‐effect models determined the annual progression of neuropsychological testing. RESULTS: Reduced attention and executive function, particularly performance on the Trail Making Test Part B, were the strongest identifiers of early DLB. In phenoconverters, the onset of cognitive decline began up to 10 years prior to phenoconversion. Changes in verbal memory best differentiated between DLB and PD subtypes. DISCUSSION: In iRBD, attention and executive dysfunction strongly predict dementia and begin declining several years prior to phenoconversion. Background: End‐stage liver disease (ESLD) and end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) are prevalent diseases for which the definitive treatment is transplantation. With limited organ supply, strategies to maximize organ availability has led to increasing rates of split liver transplantations for ESLD patients. Therefore, simultaneous split liver and kidney transplantations (SSLK) for patients with ESLD and ESRD could represent a treatment option for comorbid patients. However, current practice and outcomes after SSLK are unknown. Methods: We aim to report national trends and our experience with patients undergoing SSLK. We performed a retrospective review of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) Standard Transplant Analysis and Research file from January 2011–April 2022. Descriptive analysis of preoperative characteristics, postoperative outcomes and actuarial graft and patient survivals are reported. Results: National review of the UNOS transplant registry from 2011–2021 of adult patients undergoing initial transplantation via SSLK demonstrates that this procedure remains uncommon, with only 76 such cases captured in that time. Nevertheless, survival rates at 1, 3, and 5 years remains robust, at 94%, 92%, and 90% for patients overall, 90%, 88%, 88%, for the liver graft, and 93%, 91%, 88% for the kidney graft, respectively. Review of a single center experience with three such patients from 2019–2021 has shown a safe, enduring transplant option with no graft complications seen. Conclusions: SSLK is both safe and a feasible option to optimize organ supply while allowing recipients to receive quality liver and kidney grafts and should be considered more often by transplant centers going forward. Sterilization of structural bone allografts is a critical process prior to their clinical use in large cortical bone defects. Gamma irradiation protocols are known to affect tissue integrity in a dose dependent manner. Alternative sterilization treatments, such as supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2), are gaining popularity due to advantages such as minimal exposure to denaturants, the lack of toxic residues, superior tissue penetration, and minor impacts on mechanical properties including strength and stiffness. The impact of SCCO2 on the fracture toughness of bone tissue, however, remains unknown. Here, we evaluate crack initiation and growth toughness after 2, 6, and 24 h SCCO2‐treatment using Novakill™ and ethanol as additives on ~11 samples per group obtained from a pair of femur diaphyses of a canine. All mechanical testing was performed at ambient air after 24 h soaking in Hanks' balanced salt solution (HBSS). Results show no statistically significant difference in the failure characteristics of the Novakill™‐treated groups whereas crack growth toughness after 6 and 24 h of treatment with ethanol significantly increases by 37% (p =.010) and 34% (p =.038), respectively, compared to an untreated control group. In contrast, standard 25 kGy gamma irradiation causes significantly reduced crack growth resistance by 40% (p =.007) compared to untreated bone. FTIR vibrational spectroscopy, conducted after testing, reveals a consistent trend of statistically significant differences (p <.001) with fracture toughness. These trends align with variations in the ratios of enzymatic mature to immature crosslinks in the collagen structure, suggesting a potential association with fracture toughness. Additional Raman spectroscopy after testing shows a similar trend with statistically significant differences (p <.005), which further supports that collagen structural changes occur in the SCF‐treated groups with ethanol after 6 and 24 h.
