Background: The composition of glutenin protein significantly affects protein–starch interactions and starch digestion characteristics in wheat dough matrices. To elucidate the effects of high molecular weight glutenin subunits at the Glu‐B1 locus on dough processing quality, the detailed structural changes of protein, starch, and their complexes were compared in Mixolab dough samples of two near isogenic lines 7 + 8 and 7 + 9. Results: The results showed that the degree of protein aggregation increased continuously during dough processing, as did the destruction and rearrangement of the gluten network. Compared to 7 + 8, the stronger and more stable protein network formed in 7 + 9 dough induced intensive interactions between protein and starch, primarily through hydrogen bonds and isomeric glycosidic bonds. In 7 + 9 dough, the more compact and extensive protein–starch network significantly inhibited starch gelatinization during dough pasting, while during the dough cooling stage [from C4 (82.8 °C) to C5 (52.8 °C)], more protein–starch complexes composed of monomeric proteins and short‐chain starch were generated, which remarkably inhibited starch retrogradation. All protein–starch interactions in the 7 + 9 dough improved the starch digestion resistance, as reflected by the high content of resistant starch. Conclusion: The more extensive and intensive protein–starch interactions in the 7 + 9 dough inhibited the gelatinization and enzymatic hydrolysis of starch, thereby producing more slowly digestible starch and resistant starch. In this study, single platinum atoms were selectively encaged in the six‐membered rings of sodalite (SOD) cages within Y zeolite using a template‐guiding strategy. During the in situ synthesis process, template molecules were designed to occupy supercages and thereby force coordinated platinum species into SOD cages. Subsequent control of the post‐treatment conditions yielded the Y zeolite with selectively encaged single platinum atoms, denoted Pt@Y‐SOD. Green tea, superfine green tea powder (SGTP), and tea extract were prepared to determine their chemical components and antioxidant activity. The nutrition and aroma challenges of green tea during traditional extract technique and superfine grinding were profiled in this study. The traditional extract technique took advantage over superfine grinding in L‐theanine and glutamic acid (Glu) preservation, but not in other 16 essential amino acids. SGTP preserved a maximum of elements from green tea, whereas tea extract greatly changed the elements ratio. Tea extract contained higher VB2 and VC contents and doubled the tea polyphenol (TP) content in comparison with green tea and SGTP. Additionally, tea extract contained more favorable aroma compounds and maintained stronger antioxidant activity in comparison with green tea and SGTP. Aims: Ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) originating from the para‐Hisian region represent a challenging location. The long‐term success rate of catheter ablation above the septal leaflet of the tricuspid valve is not ideal. This study aimed to investigate the safety and efficacy of catheter ablation for para‐Hisian VAs via a direct approach under the septal valve with reversed C‐curve technique. Methods and Results: Twenty‐five consecutive patients with para‐Hisian VAs were included. Systematic mapping was performed in the right ventricle septum, including both the regions above and under the septal valve. Radiofrequency (RF) ablation was preferentially performed under the valve with reversed C‐curve technique in all patients. If the ablation failed under the valve, it was then performed above the valve and even in aortic sinus cusps. The earliest ventricular activation preceding surface QRS (V‐QRS) under the valve was significantly larger than that above the valve (34.8 ± 5.3 vs 27.8 ± 5.7 ms, P < .01). RF ablation under the valve with reversed C‐curve technique achieved acute success in 22 of 25 (88%) patients. Junctional rhythm developed during ablation in 3 of 25 (12%) patients and no atrioventricular block occurred. In the remaining three patients, RF application above the valve failed to eliminate the VAs and one of them achieved successful ablation in the right coronary cusp. During a mean follow‐up of 17.8 ± 9.4 months, no patients presented with VAs recurrence and no postprocedure complications occurred. In addition, increasing the output from the proximal CS region may alter the atrial inputs by penetrating the AV node at more than one input. Abstract: Current prognostic signatures need to be improved in identifying high‐risk patients of gastric cancer (GC). Thus, we aimed to develop a reliable prognostic signature that could assess the prognosis risk in GC patients. Two microarray datasets of GSE662254 (n = 300, training set) and GSE15459 (n = 192, test set) were included into analysis. Prognostic genes were screened to construct prognosis‐related gene pairs (PRGPs). Then, a penalized Cox proportional hazards regression model identified seven PRGPs, which constructed a prognostic signature and divided patients into high‐ and low‐risk groups according to the signature score. High‐risk patients showed a poorer prognosis than low‐risk patients in both the training set (hazard ratios [HR]: 6.086, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 4.341–8.533) and test set (1.773 [1.107–2.840]). The PRGPs signature also achieved a higher predictive accuracy (concordance index [C‐index]: 0.872, 95% CI: 0.846–0.897) than two existing molecular signatures (0.706 [0.667–0.744] for a 11‐gene signature and 0.684 [0.642–0.726] for a 24‐lncRNA signature) and TNM stage (0.764 [0.715–0.814]). A novel cellulose- click-chitosan polymer was prepared successfully in three steps: (1) propargyl cellulose with degrees of substitution (DS) from 0.25 to 1.24 was synthesized by etherification of bamboo Phyllostachys bambusoide cellulose with propargyl chloride in DMA/LiCl in the presence of NaH. The regioselectivity of propargylation on anhydrous glucose unit determined by GC-MS was in the order of 2 >> 6 > 3; (2) the functional azide groups were introduced onto the chitosan chains by reacting chitosan with 4-azidobenzoic acid in [Amim]Cl/DMF and the DS ranged from 0.02 to 0.46; (3) thus, the cellulose- click-chitosan polymer was obtained via click reaction, that is, the Cu(I)-catalyzed Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction, between the terminal alkyne groups of cellulose and the azide groups on the chitosan backbone at room temperature. The successful binding of cellulose and chitosan was confirmed and characterized by FTIR and CP/MAS 13C NMR spectroscopy. TGA analyses indicated that the cellulose- click-chitosan polymer had a higher thermal stability than that of cellulose and chitosan as well as cellulose-chitosan complex. Herein, we reported that the platinum (Pt) clusters encapsulated into sodalite (SOD) zeolite as catalyst exhibited 100 % selectivity at 100 % conversion in the selective hydrogenation of p‐chloronitrobenzene to p‐chloroaniline via hydrogen spillover. The direct interaction between p‐chloronitrobenzene and encapsulated Pt was prevented by the shape selectivity of SOD zeolite, reactants were thereby adsorbed onto zeolite outer surface to facilitate the hydrogenation proceeding by hydrogen spillover process. The further kinetic study and DFT calculation showed the excellent catalytic selectivity was ascribed to the much faster rate of hydrogenation of adsorbed nitro group than that of adsorbed C−Cl group. Objectives: To explore the value of detecting the peri‐device leak (PDL) and device endothelialization after left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) by cardiac computed tomography (CT) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF), who underwent Watchman LAAC combined with radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation (AFCA). Methods: Patients with symptomatic drug‐refractory atrial fibrillation at high risk of stroke (CHA2DS2‐VASc Score ≥ 2), who underwent Watchman LAAC combined with AFCA in our center from March 2017 to December 2018 were enrolled. Maximum diameter of LAA orifice was determined by preoperative CCTA. A standardized view of Watchman device was obtained by postoperative CCTA multiplannar reconstruction to evaluate the PDL and device endothelialization. Results: Approximately 84 patients post successful LAAC and AFCA were enrolled in this study. The satisfactory LAA occlusion rate was 100%. There was no death, bleeding, stroke, and device‐related thrombus (DRT) events. At 6‐month postprocedure, CCTA images evidenced complete endothelialization in 44 patients (no contrast enhancement in LAA); contrast enhancement in LAA and visible PDL in 33 patients; contrast enhancement in LAA but without PDL in seven patients (incomplete device endothelialization). Maximum diameter of LAA orifice could independently predict the occurrence of PDL (odds ratio, 1.31; 95% confidence interval, 1.11–1.55; p =.002), sensitivity was 69.7% and specificity was 80.4% with the cutoff value of maximum diameter of LAA orifice more than 28.2 mm on predicting PDL. Conclusions: CCTA is feasible to evaluate PDL and device endothelialization after LAAC. The maximum diameter of LAA orifice derived from CT can independently predict the occurrence of post‐LAAC PDL. Friction stir processing (FSP) and subsequent aging heat treatment were used to modify the microstructure of AZ80 magnesium alloy. The influence of FSP and aging heat treatment on the corrosion behavior was systematically studied by using potentiodynamic polarization, immersion, and slow strain rate tensile tests. The results revealed that FSP led to grain refinement, rapid dissolution of β‐phase, and the deflection of c‐axis from transverse direction (TD) and processing direction (PD) by approximately 55° and 25°, respectively, improving the static corrosion and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance. The aging heat treatment rendered a little influence on the grain size and slightly affected the grain orientation. The content of β‐phase in FSP‐5 and FSP‐24 samples was 8.1 and 21.8 wt.%, respectively. Static corrosion and SCC resistance of FSP‐5 and FSP‐24 samples were lower than those of the FSP samples. Compared with FSP‐5 sample, the amount of β‐phase and the proportion of Al2O3 increased in FSP‐24 sample, leading to enhanced static corrosion and SCC resistance. Introduction: Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AFCA) and left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) exert opposite effects on left atrial (LA) size. We aim to observe the net impact of combined AFCA and LAAC strategy on LA size and explore those factors which might affect the postprocedure LA structural remodeling. Methods: A total of 53 patients, who underwent combined AFCA and Watchman LAAC in our center from March to December 2017, were enrolled. Atrial fibrillation (AF) recurrence was monitored after the procedure. Left atrial volume (LAV) and left atrial appendage volume (LAAV) were measured by Mimics based on dual‐source computed tomography images. Results: At 6 months, sinus rhythm (SR) was maintained in 79.2% patients. LAV was significantly reduced (130.2 ± 36.3 mL to 107.1 ± 30.0 ml; P < .001) in SR maintenance group, but not in AF recurrence group (138.8 ± 39.3 mL to 137.9 ± 36.9 mL; P = .671). In SR group, preoperative LAAV/LAV ratio (B = −0.894; P = .015), NT‐proBNP (B = 0.005; P = .019) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (B = −0.778; P < .001) could interactively affect the extent of postoperative LA structural reverse remodeling, among which LAAV/LAV ratio could independently predict the significance of reverse remodeling (≥15% reduction in LAV) (OR, 0.56; 95% CI, 0.34‐0.90; P = .018). A preoperative LAAV/LAV ratio less than 7.1% is indicative of significant LA structural reverse remodeling in this patient cohort. Conclusions: LA structural reverse remodeling could be evidenced in patients with maintained SR following combined AFCA and LAAC. Smaller LAAV/LAV ratio, higher NT‐proBNP or lower LVEF at baseline are associated with more significant LA structural reverse remodeling, while LAAV/LAV ratio can predict the significance of the process after one‐stop treatment.
