The 2022 ASMC, our 33rd, returned to Saratoga Springs, NY as an in-person conference after 2 years as a virtual conference. While we are all grateful for the digital world’s enhancements that allowed this conference to be held remotely, attendees were happy to return to an in-person event where networking is much easier. As part of the meeting, the symposium titled Optimization on Chemical Reactors was held at New York University. John Happel served as chairman of the symposium. There were many papers presented during the meeting. A. V. Butterworth and P.C. Hayes presented their paper which discusses the use of mathematical predictors in a distribution system. Other topics discussed at the meeting include linear programming, strategic planning, and production planning.

The article presents the author's views on the differences in presentations regarding the issues of equity and social justice in music education on the two conferences held at University of Toronto, Ontario in January 2008, and at Columbia University's Teachers College, New York City (NYC) in October 2006. The author mentions that the differences he provoked is in the research presentation on social justice issue orientation and in music education. He notes that they also differs in quotes on justice as the NYC conference projects positive meaning by employing better social order, while the Toronto conference declares justice in negative by stating that it is not a charity. The article presents the proceedings of the Twenty-Second Annual Conference of American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) that was held on May 18-21, 1967 at Bolton Landing, New York. The conference was divided into fifteen formal sessions and three round tables. The new format also consists a presentation program of the best papers from a recent AAPOR competition for graduate students. The Sixty-eighth Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association will be held in Chicago during September 1-7, 1960. The American Sociological Association will convene for its fifty-fifth annual meeting at Statler-Hilton Hotel, New York City, during August 29-31, 1960. The Association for Education in Journalism will hold its 1960 convention at Pennsylvania State University during August 29-September 2, 1960. The program will include sessions on media analysis, for which papers have been solicited from researchers in various fields besides journalism. The article focuses on the twenty-sixth annual convention of the American Accounting Association that was held in New York from December 29 to 30, 1941. The first session started on December 29, 1941. The topic for the first session was related to accounting principles underlying corporate financial statements. This section presents the minutes of the Meeting of the American Economic Association Executive Committee held in New York City on March 24, 1972. The first meeting of the 1972 Executive Committee was called to order at 9:40 a. m. in the New York Hilton Hotel, New York, New York, March 24, 1972. The minutes of the meeting of December 26, 1971, were approved. The Secretary reported that a strong committee under the leadership of R. M. Macintosh was in charge of local arrangements for the 1972 meetings in Toronto, Ontario. He reported that the highly successful series of readings and survey volumes published for the Association by Richard D. Irwin, Inc., was being phased out. The Treasurer submitted a revised budget for 1972. He also distributed copies of the financial statements and auditors' reports for 1971 and 1972, which are being published in the May 1972 issue of the American Economic Review. The editor announced that, under authority given at the previous meeting of the Executive Committee, Anna Schwartz had been appointed to the Board of Editors for a three-year term and Barbara Bergmann reappointed for a term of two years. The chairman reported the recommendation of the committee for the Francis A. Walker Medal.
