The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that the increasingly dynamic and competitive nature of the market requires companies to provide high quality logistics services, especially in the field of medical equipment. The purpose of the study is to analyze and identify key factors influencing the efficiency of medical equipment logistics. Among the methods used were analytical method, statistical method, functional method, system analysis method, deductive method, synthesis method and comparative method. During the research, the logistics system was analyzed. The study summarizes current trends and provides practical recommendations. The practical significance of the results is to improve logistics processes and improve the quality of services.

The Russian Federation includes 89 regions in which, in accordance with climate and environmental factors, the predisposition of the population to various types of diseases is revealed. A measure to prevent these diseases is the development of biologically active additives, functional and specialized food products. The problem of morbidity of one of the regions of the Russian Federation was studied. This was based on the example of the population of the Orel region where the greatest increase in diseases of the digestive system was detected. The legislative framework of the Russian Federation allows for the production of functional products, but the lack of economic incentives for food industry enterprises and trade organizations does not contribute to the promotion of existing developments and formulations of such products in the consumer market. It is proposed at regional level to reduce the tax rate on functional food products and reduce selling prices. It is recommended to the enterprises of the food and processing industry to enrich food products with biologically active additives. To create scientific and technological centers with the involvement of health authorities, food and processing industry and trade enterprises to develop functional and specialized food products and bring them to consumers.

It is increasingly understood that the epilepsies are characterized by network pathology that can span multiple spatial and temporal scales. Recent work indicates that infraslow (<0.2 Hz) envelope correlations may form a basis for distant spatial coupling in the brain. We speculated that infraslow correlation structure may be preserved even with some time lag between signals. To this end, we studied intracranial EEG (icEEG) data collected from 22 medically refractory epilepsy patients. For each patient, we selected hour-long background, awake icEEG epochs before and after antiseizure medication (ASM) taper. For each epoch, we selected 5,000 random electrode contact pairs and estimated magnitude-squared coherence (MSC) below 0.15 Hz of band power timeseries in the traditional EEG frequency bands. Using these same contact pairs, we shifted one signal of the pair by random durations in 15-s increments between 0 and 300 s. We aggregated these data across all patients to determine how infraslow MSC varies with duration of lag. We further examined the effect of ASM taper on infraslow correlation structure. We also used surrogate data to empirically characterize MSC estimator and to set optimal parameters for estimation specifically for the study of infraslow activity. Our empirical analysis of the MSC estimator showed that hour-long segments with MSC computed using 3-min windows with 50% overlap was sufficient to capture infraslow envelope correlations while minimizing estimator bias and variance. The mean MSC decreased monotonically with increasing time lag until 105 s of lag, then plateaued between 106 and 300 s. Significantly nonzero infraslow envelope MSC was preserved in all frequency bands until about 1 min of time lag, both pre- and post-ASM taper. We also saw a slight, but significant increase in infraslow MSC post-ASM taper, consistent with prior work. These results provide evidence for the feasibility of examining infraslow activity via its modulation of higherfrequency activity in the absence of DC-coupled recordings. The use of surrogate data also provides a general methodology for benchmarking measures used in network neuroscience studies. This concept addresses the main economic, environmental, scientific and technological issues associated with the use of homogeneous Pt‐catalysts in the important industrial hydrosilylation process. The development of biphase catalysis is proposed as the most promising approach. One solution we suggest is the use of ethylene glycol (EG) as a medium in biphase catalysis. We have previously shown that EG in Pt‐catalyzed hydrosilylation serves not only as a medium but also as a mild reducing agent of Pt‐ions to Pt0, as well as an effective ligand for the preparation of mononuclear Pt01‐complexes. These zero valent platinum complexes are single‐atom catalysts (SAC) and have high activity in hydrosilylation, stability during storage and the ability to be recycled multiple times (~40 times). Nonsyndromic sporadic thoracic aortic aneurysm (nssTAA) is characterized by diverse genetic variants that may vary in different populations. Our aim was to identify clinically relevant variants in genes implicated in hereditary aneurysms in Russian patients with nssTAA. Forty-one patients with nssTAA without dissection were analyzed. Using massive parallel sequencing, we searched for variants in exons of 53 known disease-causing genes. Patients were found to have no (likely) pathogenic variants in the genes of hereditary TAA. Six variants of uncertain significance (VUSs) were identified in four (9.8%) patients. Three VUSs [FBN1 c.7841C>T (p.Ala2614Val), COL3A1 c.2498A>T (p.Lys833Ile), and MYH11 c.4993C>T (p.Arg1665Cys)] are located in genes with "definitive" disease association (ClinGen). The remaining variants are in "potentially diagnostic" genes or genes with experimental evidence of disease association [NOTCH1 c.964G>A (p.Val322Met), COL4A5 c.953C>G (p.Pro318Arg), and PLOD3 c.833G>A (p.Gly278Asp)]. Russian patients with nssTAA without dissection examined in this study have ≥1 VUSs in six known genes of hereditary TAA (FBN1, COL3A1, MYH11, NOTCH1, COL4A5, or PLOD3). Experimental studies expanded genetic testing, and clinical examination of patients and first/second-degree relatives may shift VUSs to the pathogenic (benign) category or to a new class of rare "predisposing" low-penetrance variants causing the pathology if combined with other risk factors. This paper reviews current research trends from 2014 to 2023 by analyzing publications from the Web of Science database. The bibliometric analysis covers publication counts, document types, top-cited papers, leading journals, main funding sponsors, and distribution by subject categories, countries, and institutions. Additionally, co-authorship and keyword co-occurrence were examined to identify key knowledge components and research clusters. The analysis underscores the need for expanded international research and continuous integration of Sustainable Supply Chain concepts for future development. Comorbidity, a co-incidence of several disorders in an individual, is a common phenomenon. Their development is governed by multiple factors, including genetic variation. The current study was set up to look at associations between isolated and comorbid diseases of bronchial asthma and hypertension, on one hand, and single nucleotide polymorphisms associated with regulation of gene expression (eQTL), on the other hand. A total of 96 eQTL SNPs were genotyped in 587 Russian individuals. Bronchial asthma alone was found to be associated with rs1927914 (TLR4), rs1928298 (intergenic variant), and rs1980616 (SERPINA1); hypertension alone was found to be associated with rs11065987 (intergenic variant); rs2284033 (IL2RB), rs11191582 (NT5C2), and rs11669386 (CARD8); comorbidity between asthma and hypertension was found to be associated with rs1010461 (ANG/RNASE4), rs7038716, rs7026297 (LOC105376244), rs7025144 (intergenic variant), and rs2022318 (intergenic variant). The results suggest that genetic background of comorbidity of asthma and hypertension is different from genetic backgrounds of both diseases manifesting isolated.

Analysis of the history of the pates creation has shown significant prospects of the product at the present time. Model samples of meat and vegetable pates have been developed by introducing a mixture of powders from rosehip and nettle leaves in an amount of 5, 8 and 10% and a cereal filler made from oatmeal. In terms of organoleptic quality indicators, the sample with the addition of 8% of a mixture of meal powders turned out to be the best. The technological process of the production of meat-vegetable pates includes both traditional operations and the preparation and introduction of herbal ingredients. The developed pate samples were stored at a temperature of 4 ± 2˚C for 7 days, and the quality indicators were assessed. The pastes “Young Strength” and “Willpower and Strength of Mind” are the best. Their highest score is 4.96. It has been established that the consumption of 100 g of “Powerful Strength” pate will provide the daily requirement of men and women of elderly and old age in vitamin B6 by 25.3%, iron by 28.1 and 15.6% (respectively). “Willpower and Strength of Mind” will cover the satisfaction of the daily need for vitamin B6 by 17.8% of men and women of the elderly and old age, in iron by 22.9% for men. And with the use of “ Young Strength “pate the daily need of older people for vitamin B6 will be satisfied for 17.8%, in iron by 20.8% in men of this age category. The use of meat-containing non-meat components with high nutritional value in pate technologies allows us to class them as functional products.

This study presents a highly efficient and simple recyclable catalytic system for heterophase hydrosilylation. This catalytic system consisting of a commercially available platinum precatalyst, namely K 2 PtCl 4 , and a cheap green solvent, namely ethylene glycol (EG), is easily prepared by dissolving K 2 PtCl 4 in EG without employing ligands, additives, or inert atmosphere, at r.t. It was found that mononuclear Pt0-complex generated in the catalytic system is a single-atom catalyst. The method enables 36 recycles with quantitative yield in air at r.t. The reaction proceeds at a high rate even with small catalyst loadings. High values of TON (up to 105) and TOF (up to 106) were achieved. This approach is applicable to a wide range of unsaturated compounds, such as terminal or internal alkenes, alkynes, and alkyl-, phenyl-, and siloxy-containing hydrosilanes. Moreover, the heterophase catalytic system is suitable for synthesis of linear and cross-linked polyorganosiloxanes. In most cases, the reaction provides high yields (up to 95–99%) and selectivity. Doxorubicin, which is widely used to treat a broad spectrum of malignancies, has pronounced dose-dependent side effects leading to chronic heart failure development. Nicotinamide riboside (NR) is one of the promising candidates for leveling the cardiotoxic effect. In the present work, we performed a comparative study of the cardioprotective and therapeutic actions of various intravenous NR administration modes in chronic doxorubicin-induced cardiomyopathy in Wistar rats. The study used 60 mature male SPF Wistar rats. The animals were randomized into four groups (a control group and three experimental groups) which determined the doxorubicin (intraperitoneally) and NR (intravenous) doses as well as the specific modes of NR administration (combined, preventive). We demonstrated the protective effect of NR on the cardiovascular system both with combined and preventive intravenous drug administration, which was reflected in a fibrous tissue formation decrease, reduced fractional-shortening decrease, and better antioxidant system performance. At the same time, it is important to note that the preventive administration of NR had a more significant protective effect on the animal organism as a whole. This was confirmed by better physical activity parameters and vascular bed conditions. Thus, the data obtained during the study can be used for further investigation into chronic doxorubicin-induced cardiomyopathy prevention and treatment approaches. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The removal of water from highly stable natural and technogenic water-hydrocarbon emulsions is studied. For various crudes (oil waste blends, pyrolysis resin emulsion, lake oil sludge, intermediate oil layer) dehydration end temperatures, leading to complete stabilized evaporation of water without foaming, are defined (water content is less than 1% wt.). The end dehydration temperature varies within a wide range (109-150 °C). The parameters of hydrocarbon phase, which indirectly reflect the stability to removal of water by evaporation during thermomechanical dehydration and help to predict final dehydration temperature, such as, density, coking capacity, pour point and viscosity, are suggested. This study presents a route for chemical transformation of Si-derivatives of benzoic acid – p-carboxyphenyldisiloxane and bis(p-carboxyphenyl)disiloxane – to a wide range of corresponding esters, thioesters, amides, etc. The reactions proceed under mild reaction conditions, in the presence of carbonyldiimidazole as a carboxyl group activator, making it possible to obtain the desired products in gram scale with high selectivity (without destruction of the organosiloxane backbone) and yields up to 97%. The structure of the resulting compounds was confirmed by IR, HRMS ESI, 1D and 2D 1H/13C/29Si NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction data. The article presents an in‐depth study of the applicability of cooperative [M]‐/Organo‐catalytic systems in aerobic Si−H‐functionalization. A thorough kinetic study allowed us to identify two "complementary" catalytic systems based on earth‐abundant [M]‐catalysts and inexpensive commercially available organic catalysts. The first system, Co(OAc)2/N‐hydroxysuccinimide, made it possible to oxidize a Si−H‐group to a Si−OH‐group in a wide range of monomers, including previously unknown ones, that dramatically differ in their reactivity. However, this system failed in the case of oligomeric and polymeric substrates. This problem was solved by application of the Cu(OAc)2/N‐hydroxyphthalimide system. A wide potential for gram‐scale (50–100 g) preparation of Si−OH‐containing products with molecular architectures of different complexity was revealed using the established "substrate‐reactivity‐catalytic system" relationship. The production of dialkyl ethers is based on the interaction of alcohols with iso-olefins, which have limited resources nowadays. In the meantime, Russian oil refineries have a huge resource potential for thermal gasoline having high content of unsaturated compounds. Highly unsaturated hydrocarbon fractions are characterized by low chemical stability. Their addition to commercial fuels deteriorates its properties, further processing causes rapid poisoning of the catalyst, as a result, they are not used commercially in industry. However, they present potentially valuable feedstock for the synthesis of oxygen-containing components of motor fuels - dialkyl ethers, which improve their environmental and operational properties. Current research is devoted to study the possibility of synthesizing of dialkyl ethers via interaction of normal olefins with ethyl alcohol. The peculiarities of the composition of natural bitumen from Russian Federation deposits give rise to further processing and transportation problems due to necessity of construction of processing units close to their production areas. In order to solve this problem, a method of pretreatment of natural bitumen was proposed, as a result, potential asphalt binders and low-viscosity deasphalted oil suitable for transportation to refineries are produced. Based on experimental data, the optimal conditions for the process were selected. It was recommended to carry out the first stage of crude preparation, namely thermomechanical dehydration of bitumen, with an end-point for distillation of 150 °C. This solved the problem of stable water-hydrocarbon emulsions and further dewatering of bitumen, and excluded the possibility of destruction reactions resulting in more unstable hydrocarbon compounds. At the next stage, it was proposed to carry out the process of deasphalting of bitumen with acetone at a solvent:crude ratio of 3:1. Therefore, production of deasphalted oil, with viscosity close to that of natural crude oil, and asphalt, as a feedstock for the production of universal road bitumen, intended for both summer and winter operating conditions, was shown. A methodology for synthesizing a wide range of dumbbell‐shaped, graft and bottlebrush polymers with all‐siloxane nature (without carbosilane linkers) is suggested. These macroarchitectures are synthesized from SiOH‐containing compounds—silanol (Et3SiOH) and siloxanol dendrons of the first and second generations, with various peripheral substituents (Me or Et)—and from linear siloxanes comprising terminal and internal SiH groups by the Piers–Rubinsztajn reaction. Products and key building blocks are obtained in yields up to 95%. These polymers are heat and frost‐resistant siloxanes. As it turns out, the product physical properties are determined not only by the macromolecular structure, the linear chain length, the size and frequency of branched pendant, but also by the type of peripheral substituents—Me or Et—in the pendant. Thus, the viscosity of the graft polymers with branched pendant groups comprising peripheral Me‐groups is more than ≈3–5 fold lower than that of analogous polymers with peripheral Et‐groups. Objective: Studies of infraslow amplitude modulations (<0.15 Hz) of band power time series suggest that these envelope correlations may form a basis for distant spatial coupling in the brain. In this study, we sought to determine how infraslow relationships are affected by antiepileptic drug (AED) taper, time of day, and seizure. Methods: We studied intracranial electroencephalographic (icEEG) data collected from 13 medically refractory adult epilepsy patients who underwent monitoring at Yale-New Haven Hospital. We estimated the magnitude-squared coherence (MSC) at <0.15 Hz of traditional EEG frequency band power time series for all electrode contact pairs to quantify infraslow envelope correlations between them. We studied, first, hour-long background icEEG epochs before and after AED taper to understand the effect of taper. Second, we analyzed the entire record for each patient to study the effect of time of day. Finally, for each patient, we reviewed the clinical record to find all seizures that were at least 6 hours removed from other seizures and analyzed infraslow envelope MSC before and after them. Results: Infraslow envelope MSC increased slightly, but significantly, after AED taper, and increased on average during the night and decreased during the day. It was also increased significantly in all frequency bands up to 3 hours preseizure and 1 hour postseizure as compared to background icEEG (61 seizures studied). These changes occurred for both daytime and nighttime seizures (28 daytime, 33 nighttime). Interestingly, there was significant spatial variability to these changes, with the seizure onset area peaking at 3 hours preseizure, then showing progressive desynchronization from 3 hours preseizure to 1 hour postseizure. Significance: Infraslow envelope analysis may be used to understand long-term changes over the course of icEEG monitoring, provide unique insight into interictal electrophysiological changes related to ictogenesis, and contribute to the development of novel seizure forecasting algorithms. Transportation and further processing techniques of natural bitumen are of high demand nowadays. In the present article, deasphalting of bitumen with low-molecular oxygen containing solvents was proposed. A method for regulating the process of deasphalting aimed at increasing the yield of low-viscosity deasphalted oil was developed. The influence of the depth of distillation and solvent: feed ratio on the yield of the products of deasphalting was revealed. A highly efficient preparative method for the synthesis of siloxanols based on aerobic Co(OAc)2 or Cu(OAc)2/NHPI-catalyzed oxidation of hydride siloxanes using “green”, commercially available, simple inexpensive reagents and mild reaction conditions has been proposed. A simple method for the preparation of silanols from the corresponding hydrosilanes is reported. The method employs a commercially available oxidizing system based on CuCO3/t-BuOOH(aq) under relatively mild conditions (80 °C, atmospheric pressure) with acetonitrile as the solvent. Furthermore, we present a method that permits the Si--H group to be oxidized to a Si--OH group not only in triethylsilane, but also in bis(trimethylsiloxy)methylsilane, a siloxy derivative of hydrosilane. The adsorption of nitrates with NO 3(aq) solutions ranging from 20 mg/L to 400 mg/L with Layered-Double-Hydroxides (LDH) PURAL 70 (Mg70) and an Erbium containing LDH (Er40) were investigated. The X-ray Diffraction measurements (XRD) are accompanied by complemented Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization-Time of Flight (MALDI-TOF) measurements for prove of NO 3 - containing LDH. The shift in the XRD reflection angle for both Mg70 and Er40 corresponds to MALDI-TOF Data for presence of nitrate for all LDH except for Er40MW, as its nitrate adsorption capacity is the lowest. Both methods show the adsorption of nitrates for microwaved LDH and further calcined LDH, proving the memory effect. UV–vis spectroscopy was used to determine the nitrate concentration. The study shows substantial amount of nitrate adsorption for all LDH. Adsorption ranges from 2 to 5 mg-NO 3(aq) /g-LDH for initial NO 3(aq) concentration from 20 mg/L to 400 mg/L. Leaching of element from the LDH structure is done by ICP-MS measurements to guarantee no further pollution of environmental waters with mentioned elements. Leaching for Mg ranges from170 to 1600 mg/m 3 and Al, Er and Fe leaching is less than 10 mg/m 3 . [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The improved Johnson inclusion core model of indentation by conical and pyramidal indenters in which indenter is elastically deformed and a specimen is elastoplastically deformed under von Mises yield condition, was used for determination of mechanical properties of materials with different types of interatomic bond and different crystalline structures. This model enables us to determine approximately the Tabor parameter C = HM/YS (where HM is the Meyer hardness and YS is the yield stress of the specimen), size of the elastoplastic zone in the specimen, effective apex angle of the indenter under load, and effective angle of the indent after unloading. It was shown that the Tabor parameter and the size of elastoplastic deformation zone increase monotonically with the increase of the plasticity characteristic δH, which is determined in indentation experiments using the early elaborated by the several authors of this article method. The corresponding analytical dependencies were obtained and their physical nature is discussed. For the materials studied in this work, the Tabor parameter ranges from 1 to 4. At the same time, for structural metallic alloys its value is between 2.8 and 3.1 in agreement with the results obtained by Tabor. A very simple technique developed in this article allows one to determine from the standard indentation test not only the hardness of a material but also its yield stress and plasticity. The possibility of Mn-catalyzed oxidation of p -tolyldisiloxanes 1a-b to the corresponding p -carboxyphenyldisiloxanes 2a-b was studied using a commercially available and inexpensive system based on MnCl 2 / t BuOOH. In the last 11 years (November 1989–December 2000), 5526 laparoscopic cholecystectomies were performed in a community residency training program. Two cases (0.04%) of remote complications secondary to spilled gallstones were identified. A 75-year-old woman presented with a sterile abscess in the abdominal wall containing gallstones 4 years and 4 months after an elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The second patient, a 43-year-old woman, presented with a subdiaphragmatic/subhepatic abscess containing gallstones. The abscess grew the same bacteria that were present 2 years and 3 months previously during a laparoscopic cholecystectomy for acute gangrenous cholecystitis. In both cases, pigmented gallstones were identified. Causes of gallstone spillage, means of prevention, and ways of managing this complication are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
