Infectious diseases are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Causative pathogenic microbes readily mutate their genome and lead to outbreaks, challenging the healthcare and the medical support. Understanding how certain symptoms manifest clinically is integral for therapeutic decisions and vaccination efficacy/protection. Notably, the interaction between infecting pathogens, host response and co-presence of microbes influence the trajectories of disease progression and clinical outcome. The spectrum of observed symptomatic patients (mild, moderate and severe) and the asymptomatic infections highlight the challenges and the potential for understanding the factors driving protection/susceptibility. With the increasing repertoire of high-throughput tools, such as cutting-edge multi-omics profiling and next-generation sequencing, genetic drivers of factors linked to heterogeneous disease presentations can be investigated in tandem. However, such strategies are not without limits in terms of effectively integrating host–pathogen interactions. Nonetheless, an integrative genomics method (for example, RNA sequencing data) for exploring multiple layers of complexity in host–pathogen interactions could be another way to incorporate findings from high-throughput data. We further propose that a Holo-transcriptome-based technique to capture transcriptionally active microbial units can be used to elucidate functional microbiomes. Thus, we provide holistic perspective on investigative methodologies that can harness the same genomic data to investigate multiple seemingly independent but deeply interconnected functional domains of host–pathogen interaction that modulate disease severity and clinical outcomes. Rationale: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a progressive lung disease for which novel therapies are needed. External controls (ECs) could enhance IPF trial efficiency, but the direct comparability of ECs versus concurrent controls is unknown. Objectives: To develop IPF ECs by fit-for-purpose data standards to historical randomized clinical trial (RCT), multicenter registry (Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Patient Registry), and electronic health record (EHR) data and to evaluate endpoint comparability among ECs and the phase II RCT of BMS-986020. Methods: After data curation, the rate of change in FVC from baseline to 26 weeks among participants receiving BMS-986020 600 mg twice daily was compared with the BMS-placebo arm and ECs using mixed-effects models with inverse probability weights. Measurements and Main Results: At 26 weeks, the rates of change in FVC were 232.71 ml for BMS-986020 and 2130.09 ml for BMS-placebo (difference, 97.4 ml; 95% confidence interval [CI], 24.6-170.2), replicating the original BMS-986020 RCT. RCT ECs showed treatment effect point estimates within the 95% CI of the original BMS-986020 RCT. Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Patient Registry ECs and EHR ECs experienced a slower rate of FVC decline compared with the BMS-placebo arm, resulting in treatment-effect point estimates outside of the 95% CI of the original BMS-986020 RCT. Conclusions: IPF ECs generated from historical RCT placebo arms result in comparable primary treatment effects to that of the original clinical trial, whereas ECs from real-world data sources, including registry or EHR data, do not. Pediatric School Outreach (PSO) is a school-based health center (SBHC) in an urban elementary school in Toronto, Canada. PSO focuses on developmental, behavioral, mental health, and educational concerns. A retrospective chart review aimed to characterize demographics, diagnoses, and referrals of patients attending PSO. Of 137 children, ages 2 to 15 years, 73.7% were male; 58.1% had a household annual income of <$30 000 CAD. Possible or confirmed diagnoses included attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (48.5%), learning disability (35.6%), anxiety (22.0%), autism spectrum disorder (16.7%), oppositional defiant disorder (14.4%), and expressive language delay (11.4%). Involvement of community mental health and other agencies was advised in 37.9% of cases. Psychoeducational testing was recommended for 25.0% of patients. Results suggest the need for timely developmental testing, particularly for autism spectrum disorder, and accessible learning disability diagnostic support. Large cluster of 16 lncRNAs (lnc-STIM2-7:1, lnc-MSH3-2:1, lnc-KCNE1B-3:5, lnc-IRS4-2:1, lnc-PRR32-4:2, lnc-MYO16-7:1, lnc-UTY-17:1, lnc-KCNE1B-155:1, lnc-KCNE1B-3:3, LINC00273:1, lnc-GPR39-10:2, lnc-TMEM132C-11:1, lnc-KCNE1B-3:2, lnc-KCNE1B-3:4, LINC00273:11, LINC00273:13) was obtained downregulated in mortality patients, suggesting possible association of these lncRNAs with COVID-19 mortality. Rationale: Lung transplant offers the potential to extend life for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF); yet, this therapeutic modality is only available to a small proportion of patients. Objectives: To identify clinical characteristics and social determinants of health that differentially associate with lung transplant compared with death in patients with IPF. Methods: We evaluated data from the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Prospective Outcomes (IPF-PRO) Registry, a multicenter U.S. registry of patients with IPF that was diagnosed or confirmed at the enrolling center in the previous 6 months. Patients were enrolled between June 2014 and October 2018. Patients who were listed for lung transplant were not eligible to enroll in the registry, but patients could be listed for transplant after enrollment. We performed a multivariable time-to-event analysis incorporating competing risks methodology to examine differential associations between prespecified covariates and the risk of lung transplant versus death. Covariates included factors related to lung transplant eligibility, clinical characteristics of IPF, and social determinants of health. Covariates were modeled as time independent or time dependent as appropriate. Results: Among 955 patients with IPF, event rates of lung transplant and death were 7.4% and 16.3%, respectively, at 2 years. Covariates with the strongest differential association were age, median zip code income, and enrollment at a center with a lung transplant program. Lung transplant was less likely (hazard ratio [HR], 0.13 [95% confidence interval (CI), 0.06-0.28] per 5-yr increase) and death more likely (HR, 1.41 [95% CI, 1.22-1.64] per 5-yr increase) among those older than 70 years of age. Higher median zip code income was associated with lung transplant (HR, 1.22 [95% CI, 1.13-1.31] per $10,000 increase) but not death (HR, 0.99 [95% CI, 0.94-1.04] per $10,000 increase). Enrollment at a center with a lung transplant program was associated with lung transplant (HR, 4.31 [95% CI, 1.76-10.54]) but not death (HR, 0.99 [95% CI, 0.69-1.43]). Oxygen use with activity was associated with both lung transplant and death, but more strongly with lung transplant. A higher number of comorbidities was associated with an increased likelihood of death but not lung transplant. Conclusions: For patients in the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Prospective Outcomes Registry, median zip code income and access to a lung transplant center differentially impact the risk of lung transplant compared with death, regardless of disease severity measures or other transplant eligibility factors. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has had an enormous burden on the healthcare system worldwide as a consequence of its new emerging variants of concern (VOCs) since late 2019. Elucidating viral genome characteristics and its influence on disease severity and clinical outcome has been one of the crucial aspects toward pandemic management. Genomic surveillance holds the key to identify the spectrum of mutations vis-à-vis disease outcome. Here, in our study, we performed a comprehensive analysis of the mutation distribution among the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) recovered and mortality patients. In addition to the clinical data analysis, the significant mutations within the two groups were analyzed for their global presence in an effort to understand the temporal dynamics of the mutations globally in comparison with our cohort. Interestingly, we found that all the mutations within the recovered patients showed significantly low global presence, indicating the possibility of regional pool of mutations and the absence of preferential selection by the virus during the course of the pandemic. In addition, we found the mutation S194L to have the most significant occurrence in the mortality group, suggesting its role toward a severe disease progression. Also, we discovered three mutations within the mortality patients with a high cohort and global distribution, which later became a part of variants of interest (VOIs)/VOCs, suggesting its significant role in enhancing viral characteristics. To understand the possible mechanism, we performed molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of nucleocapsid mutations, S194L and S194*, from the mortality and recovered patients, respectively, to examine its impacts on protein structure and stability. Importantly, we observed the mutation S194* within the recovered to be comparatively unstable, hence showing a low global frequency, as we observed. Thus, our study provides integrative insights about the clinical features, mutations significantly associated with the two different clinical outcomes, its global presence, and its possible effects at the structural level to understand the role of mutations in driving the COVID-19 pandemic. Vaccine development against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has been of primary importance to contain the ongoing global pandemic. However, studies have demonstrated that vaccine effectiveness is reduced and the immune response is evaded by variants of concern (VOCs), which include Alpha, Beta, Delta, and, the most recent, Omicron. Subsequently, several vaccine breakthrough (VBT) infections have been reported among healthcare workers (HCWs) due to their prolonged exposure to viruses at healthcare facilities. We conducted a clinico-genomic study of ChAdOx1 (Covishield) VBT cases in HCWs after complete vaccination. Based on the clinical data analysis, most of the cases were categorized as mild, with minimal healthcare support requirements. These patients were divided into two sub-phenotypes based on symptoms: mild and mild plus. Statistical analysis showed a significant correlation of specific clinical parameters with VBT sub-phenotypes. Viral genomic sequence analysis of VBT cases revealed a spectrum of high- and low-frequency mutations. More in-depth analysis revealed the presence of low-frequency mutations within the functionally important regions of SARS-CoV-2 genomes. Emphasizing the potential benefits of surveillance, low-frequency mutations, D144H in the N gene and D138Y in the S gene, were observed to potentially alter the protein secondary structure with possible influence on viral characteristics. Substantiated by the literature, our study highlights the importance of integrative analysis of pathogen genomic and clinical data to offer insights into low-frequency mutations that could be a modulator of VBT infections. Hyperpolarized 129Xe MRI has emerged as a novel means to evaluate pulmonary function via 3D mapping of ventilation, interstitial barrier uptake, and RBC transfer. However, the physiological interpretation of these measurements has yet to be firmly established. Here, we propose a model that uses the three components of 129Xe gas-exchange MRI to estimate accessible alveolar volume (VA), membrane conductance, and capillary blood volume contributions to DLCO. 129Xe ventilated volume (VV) was related to VA by a scaling factor kV = 1.47 with 95% confidence interval [1.42, 1.52], relative 129Xe barrier uptake (normalized by the healthy reference value) was used to estimate the membrane-specific conductance coefficient kB = 10.6 [8.6, 13.6] mL/min/mmHg/L, whereas normalized RBC transfer was used to calculate the capillary blood volume-specific conductance coefficient kR = 13.6 [11.4, 16.7] mL/min/mmHg/L. In this way, the barrier and RBC transfer per unit volume determined the transfer coefficient KCO, which was then multiplied by image-estimated VA to obtain DLCO. The model was built on a cohort of 41 healthy subjects and 101 patients with pulmonary disorders. The resulting 129Xe-derived DLCO correlated strongly (R² = 0.75, P < 0.001) with the measured values, a finding that was preserved within each individual disease cohort. The ability to use 129Xe MRI measures of ventilation, barrier uptake, and RBC transfer to estimate each of the underlying constituents of DLCO clarifies the interpretation of these images while enabling their use to monitor these aspects of gas exchange independently and regionally. Lung transplantation improves survival and quality of life in patients with advanced pulmonary disease. Over the past several decades, the volume of lung transplants has grown substantially, with increasing transplantation of older and acutely ill individuals facilitated by improved utilization and preservation of available donor organs. Other advances include improvements in the diagnosis and mechanistic understanding of frequent post-transplant complications, such as primary graft dysfunction, acute rejection, and chronic lung allograft dysfunction (CLAD). CLAD occurs as a result of the host immune response to the allograft and is the principal factor limiting long-term survival after lung transplantation. Two distinct clinical phenotypes of CLAD have emerged, bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome and restrictive allograft syndrome, and this distinction has enabled further understanding of underlying immune mechanisms. Building on these advances, ongoing studies are exploring novel approaches to diagnose, prevent, and treat CLAD. Background: Limited data are available on the association between clinically measured disease severity markers and quality of life (QOL) in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The study examined the associations between objective disease severity metrics and QOL in a contemporary IPF population.Methods: This study evaluated baseline data from patients enrolled in the multicenter, US-based Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Prospective Outcomes Registry between June 2014 and July 2018. Disease severity metrics included FVC % predicted, diffusing capacity for carbon monoxide (Dlco) % predicted, supplemental oxygen use with activity, supplemental oxygen use at rest, and two summary scores (the Gender-Age-Lung Physiology index, based on gender, age, and % predicted values for Dlco and FVC; and the Composite Physiologic Index, based on % predicted values for Dlco, FVC, and FEV1). Multivariable adjusted regression models were used to examine cross-sectional associations between each severity measure and St. George's Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) total score.Results: Among 829 patients with complete SGRQ data, the median (interquartile range) SGRQ score at enrollment was 40 (26-53), with higher scores indicating worse QOL. Modest SGRQ impairments were observed with increasing Gender-Age-Lung Physiology score (2.9 [1.8-4.0] per 1-point increase] and with increasing Composite Physiologic Index scores (3.0 [2.4-3.6] per 5-point increase). Substantial SGRQ impairments were observed for oxygen use with activity (15.6 [12.9-18.2]), oxygen use at rest (16.2 [13.0-19.4]), and decreasing Dlco (5.0 [4.0-6.1] per 10% decrease in % predicted).Conclusions: Objective measures of disease severity, including severity scores, physiologic parameters, and supplemental oxygen use, are associated with worse QOL in patients with IPF.Trial Registry: ClinicalTrials.gov; No.: NCT01915511; URL: www.clinicaltrials.gov. Bronchiolar abnormalities are common and can occur in conditions that affect either the large airways or the more distal parenchyma. In this review, we focus on the diagnosis and management of primary bronchiolar disorders, or conditions in which bronchiolitis is the predominant pathologic process, including constrictive bronchiolitis, follicular bronchiolitis, acute bronchiolitis, respiratory bronchiolitis, and diffuse panbronchiolitis. Due to the nature of abnormalities in the small airway, clinical and physiological changes in bronchiolitis can be subtle, making diagnosis challenging. Primary bronchiolar disorders frequently present with progressive dyspnea and cough that can be out of proportion to imaging and physiologic studies. Pulmonary function tests may be normal, impaired in an obstructive, restrictive, or mixed pattern, or have an isolated decrease in diffusion capacity. High-resolution computed tomography scan is an important diagnostic tool that may demonstrate one or more of the following three patterns: 1) solid centrilobular nodules, often with linear branching opacities (i.e., "tree-in-bud" pattern); 2) ill-defined ground glass centrilobular nodules; and 3) mosaic attenuation on inspiratory images that is accentuated on expiratory images, consistent with geographic air trapping. Bronchiolitis is often missed on standard transbronchial lung biopsies, as the areas of small airway involvement can be patchy. Fortunately, many patients can be diagnosed with a combination of clinical suspicion, inspiratory and expiratory high-resolution computed tomography scans, and pulmonary function testing. Joint consultation of clinicians with both radiologists and pathologists (in cases where histopathology is pursued) is critical to appropriately assess the clinical-radiographic-pathologic context in each individual patient. Multiple intimate partner violence (IPV) educational programs have been developed for health care professionals (HCPs); however, program content and effectiveness vary substantially. The purpose of this scoping review was to identify and synthesize the literature evaluating IPV education programs for HCPs to identify key areas for potential evidence-based recommendations and focus future research priorities. We conducted a systematic literature search using broad eligibility criteria to identify studies published between January 2000 and July 2015 that evaluated the effectiveness of IPV education programs in health care settings. All potentially eligible references were screened independently by two reviewers. Data extraction was completed independently by two reviewers for all eligible studies. Descriptive statistics were used to summarize all data. We identified 65 eligible studies, 55% of which reported positive program effectiveness. Effective programs often reported the use of online training components, delivery by an IPV educator/expert or physician/surgeon, the inclusion of a treatment protocol and resources for patients and HCPs, and included more than five training sessions lasting no more than one hours each. Our results demonstrate that IPV educational programs are heterogeneous and that a wide variety of methodologies have been used to evaluate their effectiveness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: Between 38 and 59 percent of women presenting to health care professionals have experienced intimate partner violence. Consequently, multiple intimate partner violence identification or screening programs within health care settings have been developed; however, substantial variations in program content and interpretation of program effectiveness has resulted in conflicting practice guidelines. The purpose of our scoping review is to broadly identify and synthesize the available literature evaluating intimate partner violence identification programs within health care settings to identify key areas for potential evidence-based recommendations and to focus research priorities in the field. Materials and Methods: We conducted a search of MEDLINE, Embase, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and psycINFO. We used broad eligibility criteria to identify studies that evaluated intimate partner violence identification programs in health care settings. We completed all screening and data extraction independently and in duplicate. We used descriptive statistics to summarize all data. Results: We identified 59 eligible studies evaluating intimate partner violence identification programs within health care settings. The most commonly reported outcome themes were IPV disclosure (69%, n = 35), number of patients screened (39%, n = 20), HCP opinions towards screening (37%, n = 19), and patient opinions towards screening (29%, n = 15). The majority of studies (36 studies (70.6%)) reported positive program evaluation results. Discussion: The majority of studies reported positive program evaluation results. This may suggest that many different intimate partner violence identification programs are beneficial for identifying victims of abuse, however, it remains unknown as to whether identification programs prevent future episodes of abuse. Additionally, the substantial heterogeneity of the intervention characteristics, study methodology, and outcome measures assessed limits the ability to make clear recommendations as to the optimal method(s) of screening. Peripheral artery disease affects over eight million Americans and is associated with an increased risk of mortality, cardiovascular disease, functional limitation, and limb loss. In its most severe form, critical limb ischemia, patients are often treated with lower extremity (LE) amputation (LEA), although the overall incidence of LEA is declining. In the US, there is significant geographic variation in the performing of major LEA. The rate of death after major LEA in the US is approximately 48% at 1 year and 71% at 3 years. Despite this significant morbidity and mortality, the use of diagnostic testing (both noninvasive and invasive testing) in the year prior to LEA is low and varies based on patient, provider, and regional factors. In this review we discuss the significance of LEA and methods to reduce its occurrence. These methods include improved recognition of the risk factors for LEA by clinicians and patients, strong advocacy for noninvasive and/or invasive imaging prior to LEA, improved endovascular revascularization techniques, and novel therapies. Mine-risk education programmes will fall short of their intended impact for as long as they fail to take into account local responses--knowledge, logic and everyday practices--to mine threats. Community information, systematically collected through household and institutional surveys, can help to define and understand endogenous 'mine smartness'. The same evidence provides insight into the impact of mine-risk education, including its unintended consequences. Using six criteria of mine smartness, CIET carried out evaluations of mine-risk education in Afghanistan (1997) and Angola (1999). The first clear lesson to be drawn from these evaluations is that people in mine-affected areas do generate their own broadly effective means of facing the daily threat of mines. The second lesson is that people take risks for reasons that make sense to them: 'education' that landmines are dangerous probably adds little value for them. The third lesson is that mine-risk education that does not take into account these first two lessons can cause harm. This study elucidated the clinical, humoral immune response and genomic analysis of vaccine breakthrough (VBT) infections after ChAdOx1 nCoV-19/Covishield vaccine in healthcare workers (HCWs). Amongst 1858 HCWs, 1639 had received either two doses (1346) or a single dose (293) of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine. SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies and neutralizing antibodies were measured in the vaccinated group and the development of SARS-CoV-2 infection was monitored.Forty-six RT-PCR positive samples from the 203 positive samples were subjected to whole genome sequencing (WGS). Of the 203 (10.92%) infected HCWs, 21.46% (47/219) were non-vaccinated, which was significantly more than 9.52% (156/1639) who were vaccinated and infection was higher in doctors and nurses. Unvaccinated HCWs had 1.57 times higher risk compared to partially vaccinated HCWs and 2.49 times higher risk than those who were fully vaccinated.The partially vaccinated were at higher risk than the fully vaccinated (RR 1.58). Antibody non-response was seen in 3.44% (4/116), low antibody levels in 15.51% (18/116) and medium levels were found in 81.03% (94/116). Fully vaccinated HCWs had a higher antibody response at day 42 than those who were partially vaccinated (8.96 + 4.00 vs. 7.17 + 3.82). Whole genome sequencing of 46 samples revealed that the Delta variant (B.1.617.2) was predominant (69.5%). HCWs who had received two doses of vaccine showed better protection from mild, moderate, or severe infection, with a higher humoral immune response than those who had received a single dose. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) manifests a broad spectrum of clinical presentations, varying in severity from asymptomatic to mortality. As the viral infection spread, it evolved and developed into many variants of concern. Understanding the impact of mutations in the SARS-CoV-2 genome on the clinical phenotype and associated co-morbidities is important for treatment and preventionas the pandemic progresses. Based on the mild, moderate, and severe clinical phenotypes, we analyzed the possible association between both, the clinical sub-phenotypes and genomic mutations with respect to the severity and outcome of the patients. We found a significant association between the requirement of respiratory support and co-morbidities. We also identified six SARS-CoV-2 genome mutations that were significantly correlated with severity and mortality in our cohort. We examined structural alterations at the RNA and protein levels as a result of three of these mutations: A26194T, T28854T, and C25611A, present in the Orf3a and N protein. The RNA secondary structure change due to the above mutations can be one of the modulators of the disease outcome. Our findings highlight the importance of integrative analysis in which clinical and genetic components of the disease are co-analyzed. Introduction: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) carries significant morbidity and mortality. Its diagnosis requires meeting specific hemodynamic and clinical criteria and can be particularly challenging in patients with concomitant heart or lung disease. Hyperpolarized 129Xenon (129Xe) magnetic resonance imaging and dynamic spectroscopy may overcome these challenges, providing a non-invasive new tool to diagnose and monitor PAH. This is based on its unique cardiogenic oscillations reflected in the 129Xe spectrum as it transfers to red blood cells (RBCs, Figure). Hypothesis: We hypothesized that changes in the RBC 129Xe spectroscopic parameters will discriminate PAH from healthy volunteers, patients with left heart failure, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods: 129Xe spectra were dynamically acquired every 20 milliseconds in all subjects. At each time point, the amplitude, chemical shift, linewidth, and phase of the 129Xe-RBC resonance was calculated. Cardiogenic oscillations in these spectral parameters were compared using the Kruskal-Wallis test, followed by pairwise comparisons with the Wilcoxon rank sum test. Results: A total of 14 healthy volunteers, 10 subjects with PAH, 5 subjects with left heart failure, 9 subjects with IPF, and 7 subjects with COPD underwent 129Xe spectroscopy. In patients with PAH, RBC amplitude oscillations were significantly reduced compared to those with IPF (p < 0.001) or healthy subjects (p = 0.0064, Figure). Oscillations in chemical shift and phase were only observed in IPF patients. Conclusions: 129Xenon dynamic spectroscopy produces different RBC signatures in patients with PAH, IPF, and healthy volunteers. 129Xe uniquely probes the alveolar-capillary interface and can thus detect the effect of arterial lesions on capillary blood volume oscillations. Background: The lifetime prevalence of intimate partner violence (IPV) for women presenting to health care settings is estimated to be 38–59%. With the goal of providing help to victims of abuse, numerous IPV assistance programmes have been developed and evaluated across multiple health care settings. Objective: Our scoping review provides an overview of this literature to identify key areas for potential evidence-based recommendations and to focus research priorities. Methods: We conducted a search of MEDLINE, Embase, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and psycINFO. We used broad eligibility criteria to identify studies that evaluated the effectiveness of IPV assistance programmes delivered within health care settings. We completed all screening and data extraction independently and in duplicate. We used descriptive statistics to summarize all data. Results: Forty-three studies met all eligibility criteria and were included in our scoping review. Nine categories of assistance programmes were identified: counselling/advocacy, safety assessment/planning, referral, providing IPV resources, home visitation, case management, videos, provider cueing, and system changes. Characteristics of programmes amongst studies frequently reporting positive results included those in which one type of active assistance was used (77.8% of studies reported positive results), a counsellor, community worker, or case manager provided the intervention (83.3% of studies reported positive results), and programmes that were delivered over more than five sessions (100.0% of studies reported positive results). Conclusions: IPV assistance programmes are heterogeneous with regards to the types of assistance they include and how they are delivered and evaluated. This heterogeneity creates challenges in identifying which IPV assistance programmes, and which aspects of these programmes, are effective.
