В этой статье делается попытка сравнить поставки, обещанные основными бизнес-школами, с теми, которые ожидают студенты, чтобы улучшить административные процессы, используемые учреждениями. Это систематический обзор литературы, сопровождаемый исследовательскими эмпирическими исследованиями, в которых описывается состояние дел и потенциал для инноваций в отношении процессов управления бизнес-школами в соответствии с ожиданиями рынка. Были определены пять атрибутов, имеющих отношение к успеху бизнес-школ, а именно: обеспечение управленческого обучения; организационная гибкость; стратегический показатель эффективности; влияние и результат. Это беспрецедентное общенациональное исследование, направленное на улучшение процессов управления бизнес-школами в Rio de Janeiro. Результаты ограничены исследуемым случаем.

Este artículo busca comparar las entregas prometidas por las principales Escuelas de Negocios con las esperadas por los estudiantes, con el fin de mejorar los procesos administrativos en uso por parte de las Instituciones. Se trata de una revisión sistemática de la literatura, acompañada de investigaciones empíricas exploratorias, que describen el estado de la técnica y el potencial de innovación en relación con los procesos de gestión de las escuelas de negocios en relación con las expectativas del mercado. Se identificaron cinco atributos pertinentes para el éxito de las escuelas de negocios, a saber: provisión de aprendizaje gerencial; flexibilidad organizativa; medida estratégica de rendimiento; impacto y resultado. se trata de un estudio sin precedentes, a nivel nacional, destinado a mejorar los procesos de gestión de las Escuelas de Negocios de Río de Janeiro. Los resultados se limitan al caso en estudio.

Dieser Artikel zielt darauf ab, die von den wichtigsten Wirtschaftsschule versprochenen Lieferungen mit den von den Schülern erwarteten zu vergleichen, um die administrativen Prozesse zu verbessern, die von den Institutionen verwendet werden. Dies ist eine systematische Überprüfung der Literatur, begleitet von explorativen empirischen Forschungen, die den Stand der Technik und das Innovationspotenzial in Bezug auf die Managementprozesse von Wirtschaftsschule in Bezug auf die Markterwartungen beschreiben. Es wurden fünf Attribute identifiziert, die für den Erfolg von Wirtschaftsschule relevant sind: Bereitstellung von Management-Lernangeboten; organisatorische Flexibilität; strategische Leistungskennzahl; Auswirkungen und Ergebnis. Dies ist eine beispiellose Studie auf nationaler Ebene, die darauf abzielt, die Managementprozesse der Wirtschaftsschule von Rio de Janeiro zu verbessern. Die Ergebnisse beschränken sich auf den untersuchten Fall.

Trata-se de revisão sistemática da literatura, acompanhada de pesquisa empírica exploratória, que descreve o estado da arte e o potencial de inovação no que se refere aos processos de gestão das Escolas de Negócio em relação à expectativa de mercado. Foram identificados cinco atributos relevantes para o sucesso das Escolas de Negócio, a saber: provimento de aprendizagem gerencial; flexibilidade organizacional; medida de desempenho estratégico; impacto e resultado. trata-se de um estudo inédito, em âmbito nacional, orientado ao aperfeiçoamento de processos gerenciais das Escolas de Negócios do Rio de Janeiro. Os resultados estão limitados ao caso em estudo.

Cet article cherche à comparer les livraisons promises par les principales écoles de commerce avec celles attendues par les étudiants, afin d’améliorer les processus administratifs utilisés par les institutions. Il s’agit d’un examen systématique de la littérature, accompagné d’une recherche empirique exploratoire, qui décrit l’état de l’art et le potentiel d’innovation par rapport aux processus de gestion des écoles de commerce par rapport aux attentes du marché. Cinq attributs pertinents à la réussite des écoles de commerce ont été identifiés, à savoir : la prestation de l’apprentissage en gestion; flexibilité organisationnelle; mesure stratégique du rendement; l’impact et les résultats. il s’agit d’une étude sans précédent, au niveau national, visant à améliorer les processus de gestion des écoles de commerce de Rio de Janeiro. Les résultats se limitent au cas à l’étude.

This article seeks to compare the deliveries promised by the main Business Schools with those expected by the students, in order to improve the administrative processes in use by the Institutions. This is a systematic review of the literature, accompanied by exploratory empirical research, which describes the state of the art and the potential for innovation in relation to the management processes of business schools in relation to market expectation. Five attributes relevant to the success of business schools were identified, namely: provision of managerial learning; organizational flexibility; strategic performance measure; impact and outcome. this is an unprecedented study, at the national level, aimed at improving the management processes of the Business Schools of Rio de Janeiro. The results are limited to the case under study.

Questo articolo cerca di confrontare le consegne promesse dalle principali Scuole di Attività commerciale con quelle attese dagli studenti, al fine di migliorare i processi amministrativi in uso agli Istituti. Si tratta di una rassegna sistematica della letteratura, accompagnata da una ricerca empirica esplorativa, che descrive lo stato dell’arte e il potenziale di innovazione in relazione ai processi di gestione delle Scuole di Attività commerciale in relazione alle aspettative del mercato. Sono stati identificati cinque attributi rilevanti per il successo delle scuole commerciali, vale a dire: l’offerta di apprendimento manageriale; flessibilità organizzativa; misura strategica delle prestazioni; impatto e risultati. si tratta di uno studio senza precedenti, a livello nazionale, volto a migliorare i processi di gestione delle Scuole di Attività commerciale di Rio de Janeiro. I risultati sono limitati al caso in esame.

Esta pesquisa teve o objetivo de identificar os fatores internos e externos à escola que podem influenciar na evasão dos estudantes de cursos técnicos de nível médio integrado da instituição federal de ensino estudada. Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura para identificar fatores que ocasionam a evasão escolar em âmbito mundial. Adicionalmente, com o objetivo de apoiar a elaboração de instrumento de coleta de dados para a aplicação de questionários a gestoras, professores / orientadores e alunos que evadiram dos cursos técnicos pesquisados da instituição federal de ensino estudada e se propor ações de intervenção de fatores internos a fim de minimizar os índices de evasão e retenção. Em termos de resultados, como fatores que ocasionam a evasão, a pesquisa teve os seguintes resultados: fatores individuais (questões psicológicas); fatores internos à instituição (problemas nas questões didático-pedagógicas) e fatores externos à instituição (dificuldades em algumas disciplinas, formação precária no ensino fundamental e questões socioeconômicas). O presente estudo tem o potencial de contribuir proficuamente na proposição de considerações fundamentadas para a redução da evasão nas instituições.

PurposeThe maintenance of process improvement programs within organizations is not an easy task. Some processes do not maintain the results achieved with the improvement project and again present low performance shortly after completion of the project. This paper aims to identify the socio-technical causes responsible for the loss of process performance after applying improvement projects, in order to support the mitigation of the problem.Design/methodology/approachA systematic review of the literature was carried out, which allowed the selection of 28 articles. The empirical stage used the benchmarking technique, along a large Brazilian mining company with an international standard of production and quality. This organization has been using improvement projects for more than ten years.FindingsThe research complements the literature regarding the prioritization of the 26 identified failures and the identification of seven new failure factors and two resources. Findings in this study can be an inspiration for other organizations, considering the similarity of methodological aspects of improvement projects since internationally standardized methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen and 5S are used.Originality/valueThe research presented a proposal of guidelines that corroborate to the mitigation of loss of process performance after improvement project.

The transition from mass production system to lean production system carrier significant changes in operational strategies of industrial organizations. A production model system can engender different reactions by the people involved; some of them can show resistance during the process, ranging from unreserved support to a hidden resistance (even explicit). In order to identify the main practices to support change processes, this study provides a literature review to systematize the main researches related to change management during lean manufacturing implementation. This study aims to provide a systematic literature review covering main researches related to change management and lean manufacturing implementation to identify the main factors that affect the production system change. The research was carried out between October 2016 and January 2018. In methodological terms, literature review was developed by using Scopus and ISI web of Science publications. As a result of this study, 25 papers related to lean manufacturing implementation were identified and 10 factors were consolidated. The most relevant practices of change management were also identified to support lean production system implementation. Resumo: A transição de um sistema de produção em massa para um sistema de produção enxuta implica em mudanças de grande magnitude no âmbito da estratégia de operações por parte de organizações de base de manufatura, podendo desencadear diferentes reações por parte dos colaboradores, indo desde o apoio irrestrito à iniciativa até a resistência velada (ou mesmo explícita). No sentido de identificar as principais práticas capazes de apoiar essas mudanças, o presente estudo tem o objetivo de oferecer uma revisão da literatura de modo a sistematizar as principais pesquisas realizadas sobre a gestão de mudança relacionada à implantação do lean manufacturing. Em especial, o estudo tem o propósito de evidenciar os principais fatores que podem comprometer e ou potencializar o êxito da adoção dos princípios lean no sistema de produção. A pesquisa foi realizada no período de Outubro de 2016 a Janeiro de 2018 nas bases de periódicos Scopus e ISI Web of Science para identificação dos principais periódicos, autores e sua literatura concernente à temática. Como resultados, foram identificados 25 artigos provenientes das referidas bases, o que permitiu a consolidação de 10 fatores-chave na literatura e a identificação das práticas de gestão de mudança relevantes para apoiar a implantação de sistemas de produção enxuta.

Highlights: Development of partnership with local entities for integrated social actions; Actions and projects are developed as close as possible to the public audience; Participation in meetings and community councils; Establishment of constant dialog between social management and community leaders; Dialog with public entities; Work communication with all the impacts caused by the implementation of the megaproject, according to the affected area. Goal: Analyze, through a case study, what were the effects resulting from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in the territory of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, and how they were perceived by the stakeholders during and after the performance. Design / Methodology / Approach: On-site open and participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and on-site questionnaires and descriptive statistics Results: A series of consequences were triggered, affecting each of the different stakeholders in different ways. Limitations of the investigation: Megaprojects promote mutually positive and negative impacts concerning the local stakeholders and their multiple and different perceptions. Thus, results cannot be generalized. Practical implications: Fragmentation of the megaproject, heterogeneity, and perceptions of different stakeholders Originality / Value: Practices that are sensitive to the stakeholders’ engagement and impacts perceived.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the large case of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation in Latin America, performed between 2011 and 2015 in a Brazilian, multinational, publicly traded company. Using the organizational change literature as background, this research analyzes the barriers and factors of success by comparing the perspectives of ERP implementers and end-users, identifying success factors and barriers of this project. A conceptual framework is developed. Design/methodology/approach The case study method was used to conduct an in-depth analysis of the interviews that captured the complexity of this process. The change management project team had exactly 11 implementers, of whom ten were interviewed, and 45 end-users, of whom 20 were interviewed. Findings The results suggest that end-users and implementers have opposite perceptions regarding the role of previous experience, organizational processes, capacity for change, leadership behavior, and the interaction of business units. In general, implementers presented a more critical perception of the change processes. Conversely, implementers and end-users agreed that business needs and cultural values facilitated the ERP implementation, whereas organizational structure and geographic dispersion constrain it. Research limitations/implications This research could have analyzed the results by region or by production line. Originality/value The major contribution of this research is to offer a conceptual framework to analyze different views about the same project. This study deepens the understanding of ERP implementations by adding studies from other countries and different cultures. For practitioners, this case study aims to offer the experiences and perceptions that implementers and end-users had about the largest ERP implementation system in Latin America.

RESUMO O presente estudo está situado na Rocinha, a maior favela da América Latina. Durante os primeiros anos da década de 2000, nessa tradicional comunidade carioca, além dos problemas de ordem social e econômica – como trafico de drogas, violência urbana e saneamento básico – seus moradores não eram assistidos com serviços públicos básicos como a entregade correspondências pelos Correios, tanto pela violência, quanto em virtude da ausência de padronização de endereços em suas ruas e vielas. Nesse contexto, três empreendedores observam uma oportunidade e deixam seus empregos para criarem o Grupo Carteiro Amigo (GCA), uma iniciativa que transformou a realidade da comunidade. O artigo apresenta um breve histórico da empresa e, em especial, aborda o dilema do crescimento organizacional, refletindo sobre os desafios e oportunidades de aumentar a base de clientes na Rocinha ou de franquear o negócio para outras favelas do Rio de Janeiro e do Brasil.

Resumo Os hospitais são organizações complexas que, para além das intervenções técnicas esperadas no âmbito do tratamento e prevenção de danos à saúde, também necessitam de boas práticas de gestão orientadas ao aprimoramento de sua eficiência em sua atividade-fim. Entretanto, em termos administrativos, observam-se recorrentes conflitos envolvendo áreas técnicas e gerenciais. Assim, o presente artigo tem o objetivo de realizar um levantamento da literatura científica atinente às temáticas de gestão hospitalar e aos projetos aplicados ao ambiente hospitalar. Em termos metodológicos, aplica-se o método webiblioming de coleta e análise sistemática de conhecimento em bases de periódicos indexadas. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam publicações que focalizam as seguintes práticas administrativas: procura de uma gestão mais dialógica horizontal e verticalmente; melhor definição dos processos de trabalho; ferramentas tecnológicas inovadoras para apoio ao processo gerencial; e, finalmente, a possibilidade de aplicação de metodologias de gerenciamento de projetos em colaboração com a gestão hospitalar. Abstract Hospitals are complex organizations which, in addition to the technical assistance expected in the context of treatment and prevention of health hazards, also require good management practices aimed at improving their efficiency in their core business. However, in administrative terms, recurrent conflicts arise involving technical and managerial areas. Thus, this article sets out to conducta review of the scientific literature pertaining to the themes of hospital management and projects that have been applied in the hospital context. In terms of methodology, the study adopts the webiblioming method of collection and systematic analysis of knowledge in indexed journal databases. The results show a greater interest on the part of researchers in looking for a more vertically and horizontally dialogical administration, better definition of work processes, innovative technological tools to support the management process and finally the possibility of applying project management methodologies in collaboration with hospital management.
