This study aimed to (1) explore the prevalence and relevant influencing factors of different mental disorders 5 years after the Lushan earthquake in Ya’an, China. An epidemiological mental health survey was conducted to identify the prevalence of mental disorders in general population in Ya’an. A multi-stage, group-matching random sampling method was adopted. Face-to-face interviews were done with a two-stage design by trained interviewers and psychiatrists. The 5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) was used for the diagnosis. There were 8876 participants who were interviewed in this study. The total 12-month and lifetime prevalence of all mental disorders were 12.5% and 14.7%, respectively. There was a significant difference between males and females in the prevalence patterns of several mental disorders. Han ethnic group had higher prevalence of anxiety disorders (2.7%), and the Tibetan group had higher prevalence of alcohol-related disorders (5.0%). Logistic regression analysis showed that the areas severely affected by the earthquake had significantly higher prevalence of depressive disorders, and the extremely severe affected areas had significantly higher prevalence of trauma- and stressor-related disorders. Our findings show that the prevalence of a range of mental disorders 5 years after the earthquake in Ya’an are high, and the prevalence of depressive and trauma- and stressor-related disorders may be influenced differently by the various severity of earthquake impact. This study may be crucial for the health policy-making, cultural-specific mental health services and long-term mental recovery after the earthquake.

A 2D/3D compatible display is proposed. The proposed 2D/3D compatible display can make viewers freely choose to view 2D or 3D images, and do not interact with each other. The proposed 2D/3D compatible display consists of a 2D display panel, a polarization modulator, and a pair of polarizing glasses. The 2D display panel is used to display a 2D synthetic image. The 2D synthetic image can be used to show the first parallax image. The polarization modulator can change the polarization directions of 2D synthetic image. Therefore, the component of the 2D synthetic image on specific polarization direction can be used to show the second parallax image. The polarizing glasses have only one lens covered with polarizer. This lens is used to view the second parallax image. And another lens without polarizer is used to view the first parallax image included in the original 2D synthetic image. Therefore, 3D image is displayed. A prototype of the proposed display is developed. Experimental results agree well with the theory. We believe it will be a potential application in 2D/3D compatible display.

We propose a crosstalk-free integral imaging three-dimensional (3D) display using a pinhole array. It consists of a back light unit, a pinhole array and a liquid crystal panel. The pinhole array, which is attached to the back light unit, is located between the back light unit and the liquid crystal panel. Three imaging models of the integral imaging 3D display with different pinhole arrays are analyzed to reveal the relationship between the aperture width of the pinhole array and the crosstalk. The optimal value of the aperture width of the pinhole array is also obtained to eliminate the crosstalk. A prototype using the optimal pinhole array is developed, and the experiment results agree well with the theory.

Crop-type classification is one of the most significant applications in polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) imagery. As a remote sensing technique, PolSAR has been proved to have the ability to provide high-resolution information of illustrated objects. However, single-temporal PolSAR data are restricted to provide sufficient information for crop identification due to the complicated condition of varying morphology within various growing stages. With an increasing number of spaceborne PolSAR systems launched, a large amount of real PolSAR data are being generated and used to provide great opportunities for multitemporal analysis. The main contribution of this paper is to improve crop classification accuracy with various features of classical $H$ / $\alpha$ parameters. First, in order to deal with dual-PolSAR data, $H$ / $\alpha$ decomposition algorithm for quad-PolSAR is modified to suit to the case of dual polarization. Second, according to the differential scattering characteristics of main crops, a new parameter is innovatively defined to measure the differential characteristics in the $H$ / $\alpha$ classification plane. Third, crop types are discriminated by applying a supervised classification method with the newly defined parameter. Furthermore, the correctness of the parameter is verified with simulated and real Sentinel-1 data as well as AirSAR data. Finally, the performances of the classification method are investigated by the comparison with complex Wishart, Freeman–Wishart, and support vector machine (SVM) classifiers. Hence, the experimental results show that the proposed method and SVM classifier with the newly defined parameter have the ability to improve crop classification accuracy.

Despite several studies suggesting the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in schizophrenia, there is still a lack of systematic summary and analysis on the role of TCM as adjuvant therapy in chronic schizophrenia. For this purpose, we conducted a meta-analysis to study the efficacy of TCM as an adjuvant combined with antipsychotics in the treatment of chronic schizophrenia. Until April 2020, based on the review of six electronic databases, eight articles were selected. The articles compared TCM decoction assisted antipsychotic therapies with an antipsychotic alone in the treatment of chronic schizophrenia by analyzing a total of 810 cases. The results showed that TCM combined with antipsychotics have beneficial effects on the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS), including the changes in total score, negative score, and the clinical effects evaluated by the PANSS scale. Subgroup analysis showed that the effects of auxiliary TCM with different efficacy on the positive and psychopathological scores were significantly different. It was found that adjuvant treatment with TCM can reduce some side effects and improve the patient's living conditions in the evaluation of the Schizophrenia Quality Of Life Scale (SQLS). Many studies have proved that TCM is safe and well-tolerated. Although the difficulties of using limited TCM remains to be generalized, it still has great potential in the adjuvant treatment of chronic schizophrenia.

A real-time viewpoint generation-based 3D display with low crosstalk and high resolution is proposed. The proposed 3D display consists of a pattern image display (PID), a lenticular lens, and a transparent liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. For each eye of the observer, the PID can provide a pattern image with stripes that have a calculated pitch and displacement according to the eye position. The light from the stripes can be concentrated 3D display eye tracking by the lenticular lens and generate a viewpoint at the eye position. The transparent LCD panel is used to provide parallax images. This transparent LCD panel will not change the direction of light propagation and the location of the generated viewpoints. Then the whole parallax image on the transparent LCD panel can be projected by the PID and the lenticular lens to the viewpoint, so the resolution will not suffer like that in the convention 3D displays. Because the viewpoints are real-time generated according to the position of the observer’s eyes, the observer’s eyes will completely coincide with the position of the generated viewpoint. So crosstalk can be limited at a low level, and the viewing range is almost unlimited.

In recent years, the prognostic and health management (PHM) technology has been effectively developed as a key technology for the intelligent development of power grids. The online monitoring system for circuit breaker (CB) lifetime has significant research value. Based on the requirement for intelligent monitoring of CBs’ electrical life, this paper provides an online monitoring scheme for CB contact system. This scheme adopts the improved arc current weighted algorithm, which calculates the contact electrical wear per interrupted online and estimate residual life of CB with the theoretical allowable wear deduced by the least squares method. The wavelet algorithm is used to find the accurate time point where the arc starts. The TMS320F28335 digital signal processor (DSP) + AD7656 + ESP8266 chip architecture is used for AD sampling, online computing, and wireless communication.

A dual-view one-dimensional integral imaging (DV1DII) display with large viewing angle is proposed. It is composed of a display panel, a polarizer, a lenticular lens array and two pairs of polarized glasses. The elemental images 1 and 2, which are captured from the 3D scenes 1 and 2, are respectively displayed on the left and right half of the display panel. The lights emitted from the elemental images 1 are sequentially polarized and modulated by the sub-polarizer 1 and the corresponding lenticular lenses. The orthoscopic 3D image 1 is observed in the right viewing direction by wearing the polarized glasses 1. In a similar way, the orthoscopic 3D image 2 is seen in the left viewing direction by wearing the polarized glasses 2. A prototype of the proposed DV1DII display is developed, and good experimental results agree well with the theory.

After the conceptual design of a six-rotor UAV, a detailed 3D model was built in CATIA, in which complete details of the structure was designed. Then static and dynamic structural analysis was carried out by using ANSYS. By applying the loads and the other forces which will effect on the structure, analysis was done on the complete UAV. Also, the structure analysis is carried out on the landing gear by applying all the forces which are acting on it. Through the analysis of the stress on the six-rotor UAV under different working conditions, the results show that the UAV is strong enough under the loading condition of 5 kg.

We propose a dual-view one-dimensional integral imaging 3D display using a barrier array. It is composed of an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a barrier array and a liquid crystal panel. The OLED and the liquid crystal panel are used to present an element image array and a parallax barrier. The barrier is located at the middle of adjacent slits. The gap between adjacent barriers is equal to the pitch of the slit. The element image array consists of the left and right elemental images which are alternately arranged. The left and right elemental images located between adjacent barriers are only modulated by the corresponding slit between those. A prototype is developed, and the viewing ranges of the left and right viewing zones are increased along with the increase of the viewing distance.

Conventional 3D displays have only one optimal view distance (OVD). When observers stay away from the OVD, crosstalk occurs. Therefore, a 3D display with switchable optimal view distances is proposed. The proposed 3D display consists of a scattering modulator, a directional light source array, and a 2D display panel. The 2D display panel is used to provide parallax images. The directional light source array light up the scattering modulator to form a postpositive backlight. The scattering modulator is formed by stacking at least two polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) layers. One layer in the stack can be set in a scattering state. The others are set in a transparent state. So the scattering PDLC layer will become a postpositive backlight and project parallax images into different spatial directions. Because the PDLC layers in the stack have different distances to the 2D display panel, different OVDs can be provided. A prototype of the proposed display is developed. Experimental results show the proposed 3D display is helpful for crosstalk reduction by switching to suitable OVD.

Retro-reflection based projection 3D display with low crosstalk is proposed. The 3D display consists of a retro-reflective sheet, an image projector array, a vertical scattering layer, and two optical noise sources projectors. The image projector array is used to provide parallax images. The retro-reflective sheet is used to reflect parallax images to different horizontal viewpoints to form 3D images. The vertical scattering layer is used to scatter the reflected light in the vertical directions, and form viewing areas in the vertical projection area of each corresponding projector. The optical noise source projector provides salt and pepper noise to reduce crosstalk. A prototype of the proposed 3D display is developed, and the experiment results agree well with the theory.

Traditional traveltime inversion for anisotropic medium is, in general, based on a “weak” assumption in the anisotropic property, which simplifies both the forward part (ray tracing is performed once only) and the inversion part (a linear inversion solver is possible). But for some real applications, a general (both “weak” and “strong”) anisotropic medium should be considered. In such cases, one has to develop a ray tracing algorithm to handle with the general (including “strong”) anisotropic medium and also to design a non-linear inversion solver for later tomography. Meanwhile, it is constructive to investigate how much the tomographic resolution can be improved by introducing the later arrivals. For this motivation, we incorporated our newly developed ray tracing algorithm (multistage irregular shortest-path method) for general anisotropic media with a non-linear inversion solver (a damped minimum norm, constrained least squares problem with a conjugate gradient approach) to formulate a non-linear inversion solver for anisotropic medium. This anisotropic traveltime inversion procedure is able to combine the later (reflected) arrival times. Both 2-D/3-D synthetic inversion experiments and comparison tests show that (1) the proposed anisotropic traveltime inversion scheme is able to recover the high contrast anomalies and (2) it is possible to improve the tomographic resolution by introducing the later (reflected) arrivals, but not as expected in the isotropic medium, because the different velocity (qP, qSV and qSH) sensitivities (or derivatives) respective to the different elastic parameters are not the same but are also dependent on the inclination angle.

We propose a dual-view integral imaging display using a polarizer. It consists of a display panel, a polarizer, a microlens array, and two pairs of polarizer glasses. The polarizer comprises the left and right subpolarizers whose polarization directions are orthogonal. Two kinds of elemental images are captured from different three-dimensional scenes and located on the left and right half of the display panel. The lights emitting from two kinds of elemental images are polarized by the left and right subpolarizers. The polarization directions of the two pairs of polarizer glasses used in the left and right viewing zones are the same as those of the right and left subpolarizers, respectively. Two different three-dimensional images are simultaneously viewed in the left and right viewing directions by wearing two pairs of polarizer glasses. A prototype of the proposed dual-view integral imaging display is developed, and the experimental results verify the hypothesis.

INTRODUCTION Cluster of differentiation 147 (CD147) contributes to breast cancer invasion, metastasis, and multidrug resistance. Recent studies have shown that peripheral soluble CD147 (sCD147) is increased in hepatocellular tumour and multiple myeloma patients and correlated with disease severity. The primary aim of our study was to assess the level, as well as the biological and clinical significance of sCD147 in breast cancer. METHODS We tested plasma sCD147 levels in 308 breast cancer patients by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay between February 2014 and February 2017. A subset of 165 cases of benign breast diseases was included as a control group at the same period. We analysed the clinical significance of plasma sCD147 with relevance to clinicopathological factors of breast cancer patients. RESULTS Plasma sCD147 levels were significantly higher in patients with primary breast cancer than those with benign breast diseases (P=0.001), in patients with locally advanced breast cancer (T3-T4 tumour) than those in early breast cancer (T1-T2 tumour; P=0.001), in patients with lymph node metastasis than in those without (P

Hyperlipidemia is a common disease caused by abnormal plasma lipid metabolism. Lipidomics is a powerful and efficient technology to study the integration of disease and syndrome of Chinese medicine. This study investigated specific changes in lipid metabolites from hyperlipidemia patients with syndrome of liver qi-stagnation and spleen-deficiency (SLQSD). Lipid profiles in plasma samples from 29 hyperlipidemia patients including 10 SLQSD and 19 non-SLQSD and 26 healthy volunteers (NC) were tested by UPLC-QTOF/MS. PLS-DA analysis and database searching were performed to discover differentiating metabolites. Differences in lipid metabolites between hyperlipidemia and healthy people mainly include phosphatidylcholines, phosphatidylethanolamines, phosphatidylglycerols, and ceramides. Hyperlipidemia patients with SLQSD and non-SLQSD could be differentiated by using identified lipid metabolites including phosphatidylcholines, phosphatidylethanolamines, phosphatidylinositols, triglycerides, diacylglycerols, lysophosphatidylethanolamines, sphingomyelins, lysophosphatidylcholines, and lactosylceramides. There were significant differences of lipid metabolism between between different syndromes of the same disease such as hyperlipidemia which showed significant differences between SLQSD and non-SLQSD.

A 3D display based on a microsphere-lens (MSL) array is proposed. This 3D display uses the MSL array to project the parallax images on a 2D display panel into different spatial directions. Each MSL can work as a conventional micro-lens. However, the MSL has a much shorter focal length than the conventional micro-lens. The shorter focal length is helpful for increasing the viewing angle. A prototype of the 3D display is developed. Experiment result shows that the proposed display has a large viewing angle and the crosstalk is also limited in a low level.

Theoretically, Fresnel volume ray theory is more suitable for handling real seismic propagation problems because the traveltime depends not only on the velocity distribution along a traditional geometric ray but also on the velocity distribution within a vicinal region (referred to as first Fresnel volume, abbreviated as FFV) which embraces the geometric ray. In this study, we used an exact solution to calculate multi-phase FFV rays for both 2-D and 3-D cases and introduced a normalized coefficient to account for different contributions inside the FFV ray on the traveltimes. Furthermore, we draw a new formula to calculate the partial traveltime derivatives with respective to the velocity variations and depth changes of the reflectors and finally present a simultaneous inversion method for updating both velocity field and reflector geometry by using these multi-phase FFV rays for both in 2-D and 3-D cases. Using synthetic data examples, we compare the reconstructions of the velocity field and the reflector geometry using the FFV ray tomographic methods and the traditional ray tomography approaches. The simulated inversion results for both 2-D and 3-D cases show that the FFV ray tomographic method is advantageous over the traditional ray tomography method, especially when the ray density is relatively low. The other advantage for the FFV ray tomography method is that it can capture the coarse velocity structure and reflector geometry by starting with a low-frequency data set and then map the fine velocity structure and the detailed reflector geometry by using a high-frequency data set.

We propose a tri-view integral imaging (TVII) three-dimensional (3D) display which presents three different 3D images in the left, middle and right viewing directions simultaneously. The element image array (EIA) of the TVII 3D display consists of three sub-EIAs. The three sub-EIAs captured from three different scenes are responsible for three different 3D images in the left-, middle- and right-view, respectively. A prototype of the TVII display is developed, and the experimental results verify the correctness of the theory. The TVII 3D display is easily convertible to mono-view or dual-view II 3D display.

An autostereoscopic 3D display with high brightness and low crosstalk is proposed. This display consists of a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, a reflective light source (RLS), and a parallax barrier or lenticular lens. The RLS behind the LCD panel consists of a light source, a light guide plate, and a reflection cavity. The RLS can make light reflect continuously in the reflection cavity and exit from the slits on the cavity surface. The widths of these slits are narrower than those of the subpixels, so they can provide a low aperture ratio, which is helpful in obtaining low crosstalk. Because of the reflection cavity, the optical efficiency is higher than that using a single barrier. The parallax barrier or lenticular lens can project parallax images on the LCD panel into different directions. Then 3D images are formed. A prototype of the proposed 3D display having high brightness 3D images and low crosstalk is developed. The experimental results agree well with the theory.

A wireless sensor network is a network consisting of wireless sensor nodes. There are usually requirements that need to be met when deploying a wireless sensor network, one being the placement of nodes. Due to placement requirements and limited node transmission range, a network might be partitioned initially. Therefore, additional relay nodes are added to the network to form an interconnected network. In this article, the minimum relay nodes placement problem in wireless sensor networks is addressed. This problem addresses the placement of relay nodes: the minimum number needed and where the nodes should be placed. The problem is formulated as a Steiner tree problem with minimum Steiner points and a bounded edge length problem, which is NP-hard. In this article, we present a variable-dimension meta-heuristic based on particle swarm optimization called multi-space particle swarm optimization to address the problem. We tested multi-space particle swarm optimization using randomly generated instances of the Steiner tree problem with minimum Steiner points and a bounded edge length problem of varying sizes and found that multi-space particle swarm optimization is effective in addressing the Steiner tree problem with minimum Steiner points and a bounded edge length problem.

Perovskite (CH3NH3PbI3) solar cells have made significant advances recently. In this paper, we propose a bilayer heterojunction solar cell comprised of a perovskite layer combining with a IV-VI group semiconductor layer, which can give a conversion efficiency even higher than the conventional perovskite solar cell. Such a scheme uses a property that the semiconductor layer with a direct band gap can be better in absorption of long wavelength light and is complementary to the perovskite layer. We studied the semiconducting layers such as GeSe, SnSe, GeS, and SnS, respectively, and found that GeSe is the best, where the optical absorption efficiency in the perovskite/GeSe solar cell is dramatically increased. It turns out that the short circuit current density is enhanced 100% and the power conversion efficiency is promoted 42.7% (to a high value of 23.77%) larger than that in a solar cell with only single perovskite layer. The power conversion efficiency can be further promoted so long as the fill factor and open-circuit voltage are improved. A polarizer parallax barrier 3D display with high brightness, resolution and low crosstalk is proposed in this paper. The 3D display includes a 2D display panel, a polarizer film array, and a polarizer parallax barrier. The 2D display panel and the polarizer film array provide two parallax images in orthogonal polarization directions. The polarizer parallax barrier is covered with striped polarizers. Parallax images are modulated by the polarizer parallax barrier, and 3D images are displayed. A prototype of the proposed 3D display is developed and it has higher brightness and resolution than the 3D display based on conventional parallax barriers. Using a particular algorithm for synthetic images, the crosstalk is limited in a low level. Experiments are carried out, and good results finally verify the feasibility of the proposed method.

Rensheng Shouwu Capsule (RSSW) is an approved and patented drug of Traditional Chinese Medicine that has been used for years to treat vascular dementia and neural syndrome related to cerebral-vascular ischemia. However, the underlying mechanism of RSSW remains unclear.

This paper presents a new Phase Measuring Deflectometry (PMD) method to measure specular object having\ud discontinuous surfaces. A mathematical model is established to directly relate absolute phase and depth, instead of phase\ud and gradient. Based on the model, a hardware measuring system has been set up, which consists of a beam splitter to\ud change the optical path, and two LCD screens to display the same sinusoidal fringe patterns. By using model-based and\ud machine vision method, system calibration is accomplished to provide the required parameters and conditions. The\ud verification tests are given to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed system. The 3D shape of an artificial step\ud having multiple specular surfaces and a concave mirror has been measured. Initial experimental results show that the\ud proposed measurement method can obtain 3D shape of specular objects with discontinuous surface effectively.

A three-dimensional (3-D) display with optimized view distribution is proposed. The proposed 3-D display consists of a two-dimensional (2-D) display panel, a pixel mask, and a lenticular lens. The 2-D display panel is used to provide parallax images. The pixel mask has a designed pinhole array and is located close to the 2-D display panel. This pinhole array can modulate the location and size of the pixels on the 2-D display panel to provide an optimized view distribution. Finally, the lenticular lens projects the pixels in different spatial directions to form 3-D images. Different from conventional 3-D displays, the proposed 3-D display can concentrate views into the center area and form a better parallax continuity. A prototype of the proposed 3-D display is developed. Experiment results agree well with the theory.

We propose an autostereoscopic three-dimensional (3-D) display using a time-multiplexed method. This display consists of a two-dimensional (2-D) display panel, a time-multiplexed liquid crystal parallax barrier (LCPB), and a lenticular sheet. The 2-D display provides four-view synthetic images. The time-multiplexed LCPB located in front of the 2-D display panel is used to project parallax images in different spatial directions. With the time-multiplexed method, 3-D pixels with different locations can be provided for a time sequence, allowing a high 3-D resolution to be achieved. The lenticular lens is located between the 2-D display panel and the LCPB. Because of congregating ray functions of the lenticular sheet, cross talk can be effectively reduced. We describe the principle and parameter calculations for the prototype of the proposed display. Compared with the conventional autostereoscopic 3-D display, the proposed display has a higher resolution and minimal cross talk.

A parameter design of a parallax barrier is one of the most important keys to design a one-dimensional integral imaging (1DII) display using parallax barrier. The relationship between the thickness of the parallax barrier and the viewing angle of the 1DII display is studied, and the maximal value of the thickness is also obtained. When the thickness of the parallax barrier is greater than the maximal value, the viewing angle of the 1DII display is decreased with increasing the thickness of the parallax barrier. A prototype of the 1DII display using parallax barrier is developed, and the experimental results agree well with the theory.

Traditional ray tomography methods based on the high frequency assumption are sometimes unable to obtain a high resolution tomographic picture due to a deficient coverage of ray paths in real applications, especially for low velocity anomalous regions. In contrast, finite-frequency ray theory is more suitable for handling real seismic propagation problems because the travel time depends not only on the velocity distribution along a central ray (or traditional geometric ray), but also on the velocity values within a region (referred to as the first Fresnel Volume) which incorporates the central ray. In this study, we develop an algorithm to calculate multi-phase Fresnel Volume finite-frequency rays, and then present an inversion method to simultaneous invert for both velocity and reflector geometry by using these multi-phase Fresnel Volume finite-frequency rays. Using synthetic data examples, we compare the reconstructions of the velocity field and the reflector orientation using the Fresnel Volume ray tomographic methods and the traditional ray tomography approach. Results show that the former is advantageous over the latter, especially when the ray density is relatively low. An additional benefit of the Fresnel Volume finite-frequency ray tomographic method is that it can start with a low frequency to capture the coarse velocity structure, thereby mitigating the local minimum trapping problem, and then be tuned to a high frequency for delineating the fine velocity structure.

The paper made a simple study about the stress and nodal displacement theoretic analysis of different shape combined slabs by CATIA.It shows the following result in a visible way with 3D technology: First, the bearing capacity of combined slabs has a great relationship with their shape. Second, the vertical combined slabs can afford stress further surpass the horizontal combined slabs in the same condition and made by the same material.

This paper simulated 3-D virtual construction environment to achieve visualization of the building construction process by using the CATIA and DELMIA software. It confirmed the best construction program through comparing the advantages and disadvantages from multiple the construction programs for the aim of improving the constructability of the construction program.

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of combined Chinese medicine, acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy on vascular dementia (VD), and to compare the Western medicine piracetam.MethodsTotal 134 VD patients screened in reference to the standard for VD diagnosis in DSM-IV were randomly divided into a Chinese medicine plus rehabilitation group (32 cases), a Chinese medicine plus acupuncture group (33 cases), a Chinese medicine and acupuncture plus rehabilitation group (37 cases) and a Western medicine piracetam group (32 cases). Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Bless Behavior Scale (BBS) were used to assess changes in intelligence disorder before treatment and after 12-week treatment.ResultsBBS score, living ability and daily habit were enhanced after treatment in all groups. Cognitive function and behavioral ability were improved with similar total curative effects in all the 4 groups. Directional ability and short-term memory ability were significantly enhanced after treatment (P < 0.05) in both the Chinese medicine plus rehabilitation group and the Chinese medicine plus acupuncture group groups. Living ability was significantly improved after treatment in the Chinese medicine and acupuncture plus rehabilitation group (P < 0.01). However, no obvious difference was shown before and after treatment in the piracetam group.ConclusionThe improvement of living ability in the comprehensive treatment group is better than that in the other groups. Chinese medicine and acupuncture plus rehabilitation treatment can improve intelligence and living ability of senile VD patients.

The parallax barrier 3D display is an autostereoscopic display with low cost. However, the conventional parallax barrier 3D display has a disadvantage of low brightness. Therefore, a parallax barrier 3D display based on shared pixels is proposed. The shared pixels have adapted pixel values which limit crosstalk in a low level, so that they can be displayed simultaneously in both two parallax images. These pixels increase aperture ratio of the parallax barrier. Therefore, they can bring high brightness. A prototype of the proposed 3D display is developed and it has higher brightness than those based on the conventional one.

We propose a dual-view integral imaging (DVII) three-dimensional (3D) display using polarized glasses. The DVII 3D display consists of a display panel, a polarized parallax barrier, a microlens array, and two pairs of polarized glasses. Two kinds of elemental images, which are captured from two different 3D scenes, are alternately arranged on the display panel. The polarized parallax barrier is attached to the display panel and composed of two kinds of units that are also alternately arranged. The polarization directions between adjacent units are perpendicular. The polarization directions of the two pairs of polarized glasses are the same as those of the two kinds of units of the polarized parallax barrier, respectively. The lights emitted from the two kinds of elemental images are modulated by the corresponding polarizer units and microlenses, respectively. Two different 3D images are reconstructed in the viewing zone and separated by using two pairs of polarized glasses. A prototype of the DVII 3D display is developed and two 3D images can be presented simultaneously, verifying the hypothesis.

Controlling chaos for the chaotic ship steering with unknown model uncertainty and external disturbance is difficult. For eliminating the chaos behavior of our system, this paper combines the adaptive control with sliding mode control, and a single input control scheme is accepted. The feasibility of the proposed method is proved by Lyapunov stability theory. The simulation experiment demonstrates the effectiveness of the designed single input adaptive sliding mode controller on chaotic ship steering.

Organic-inorganic halide perovskite solar cells have enormous potential to impact the existing photovoltaic industry. As realizing a higher conversion efficiency of the solar cell is still the most crucial task, a great number of schemes were proposed to minimize the carrier loss by optimizing the electrical properties of the perovskite solar cells. Here, we focus on another significant aspect that is to minimize the light loss by optimizing the light management to gain a high efficiency for perovskite solar cells. In our scheme, the slotted and inverted prism structured SiO2 layers are adopted to trap more light into the solar cells and a better transparent conducting oxide layer is employed to reduce the parasitic absorption. For such an implementation, the efficiency and the serviceable angle of the perovskite solar cell can be promoted impressively. This proposal would shed new light on developing the high-performance perovskite solar cells.

A special subpixel arrangement-based 3D display is proposed. This display consists of a 2D display panel and a parallax barrier. On the 2D display panel, subpixels have a special arrangement, so they can redefine the formation of color pixels. This subpixel arrangement can bring about triple horizontal resolution for a conventional 2D display panel. Therefore, when these pixels are modulated by the parallax barrier, the 3D images formed also have triple horizontal resolution. A prototype of this display is developed. Experimental results show that this display with triple horizontal resolution can produce a better display effect than the conventional one.

A one-dimensional integral imaging (1DII) display with large viewing angle is proposed in this paper. The proposed 1DII display is composed of a display panel, a barrier array and a parallax barrier. The barriers, which are located at the junction of adjacent elemental images on the display panel, are perpendicular to the display panel and the parallax barrier. It is different from the previous 1DII display using the barrier array that the aperture centers of the slits aren’t aligned with the centers of the corresponding element images. Moreover, the most important difference is that the pitch of the slit is small than that of the elemental image. The widths of all viewing zones reconstructed by elemental images are identical at the optimal viewing distance. Thus, the viewing angle of the proposed 1DII display isn’t affected by the number of the slits and the elemental images. A prototype of the proposed 1DII display is developed, and good experimental results are obtained.

A pixel mask-based three-dimensional (3-D) display with uniform resolution is proposed. This 3-D display consists of a reflected light source, a pixel mask, a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, and a lenticular lens. The reflected light source is located on the bottom layer of the proposed 3-D display. It has a reflective structure to improve optical efficiency, so it can make up the brightness loss, which is caused by the pixel mask. The pixel mask is located between the reflected light source and the LCD panel, and is attached on the back surface of the LCD panel. This pixel mask is made of a reflective material, and some transparent areas are etched on it. The pixel mask redefines the pixels of the two-dimensional display panel located in front of it, so the size and location of redefined pixels depend on the transparent area of the pixel mask. The arrangement of the redefined pixels can increase the column numbers of synthetic images. Therefore, the synthetic images can make 3-D images have uniform resolution. A 4-view prototype of this display is developed and the experimental result shows the proposed method can improve resolution uniformity successfully.

A 3D display based on a parallax barrier with multiview zones is proposed. This display consists of a 2D display panel and a parallax barrier. The basic element of the parallax barrier has three narrow slits. They can show three columns of subpixels on the 2D display panel and form 3D pixels. The parallax barrier can provide multiview zones. In these multiview zones, the proposed 3D display can use a small number of views to achieve a high density of views. Therefore, the distance between views is the same as the conventional ones with more views. Considering the proposed display has fewer views, which bring more 3D pixels in the 3D images, the resolution and brightness will be higher than the conventional ones. A 12-view prototype of the proposed 3D display is developed, and it provides the same density of views as a conventional one with 28 views. Experimental results show the proposed display has higher resolution and brightness than the conventional one. The cross talk is also limited at a low level.

Fei-Yu Chen, Hui-Ying Ou, Shou-Man Wang, Yu-Hui Wu, Guo-Jiao Yan, Li-Li Tang Department of Breast Surgery, Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, Changsha City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China Background: Several studies have shown a positive association between body mass index (BMI) and the development of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women; however, the associations between BMI groups and molecular subtypes have yet to be well defined in premenopausal breast cancer patients. Methods: A total of 2465 female breast cancer patients diagnosed at our institution were recruited for this study. Clinicopathologic information (including age, body height and weight, as well as tumor subtypes and stages) was collected; analyses of these characteristics and the associations between them were performed. Results: A total of 1951 cases were included in the study. The mean age was 47.3 years, the majority of patients were of normal weight, premenopausal, had stage 2 cancer, and did not present with positive nodes. The prevalence of the luminal A, luminal B, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2+, and triple-negative subtypes were 57.8%, 11.6%, 6.1%, and 24.5%, respectively. There were significant differences in the clinicopathologic features among BMI groups in premenopausal patients. The case-only odds ratio (OR) analysis revealed that normal weight patients tended to have luminal B cancer (OR = 1.4, P = 0.206), and overweight and obese patients tended to have triple-negative cancer in premenopausal patients (OR = 2.8, OR = 3.7, respectively; P < 0.001). Conclusion: In Chinese women, breast cancer came with these characteristics: young mean age (premenopause), luminal A subtype, and the majority of them were within a normal weight range. In premenopausal patients, underweight patients tended to have luminal A, lower human epidermal growth factor receptor 2+ expression, stage 1 and no positive node cancer. A reflected-light-source (RLS)-based 3D display is proposed. This display consists of an RLS and a 2D display panel. The 2D display panel is located in front of the RLS. The RLS consists of a light source, a light guide plate (LGP), and a reflection cavity. The light source and the LGP are located in the reflection cavity. Light from the light source can enter into the LGP and reflect continuously in the reflection cavity. The reflection cavity has a series of slits, and light can exit only from these slits. These slits can work as a postpositional parallax barrier, so when they modulate the parallax images on the 2D display, 3D images are formed. Different from the conventional 3D display based on a parallax barrier, this RLS has less optical loss, so it can provide higher brightness. A prototype of this display is developed. Experimental results show that this RLS-based 3D display can provide higher brightness than the conventional one.

Based on comprehensive analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) human body structure, the paper implements the TCM human body structure and functions’ simulation model by using multi-agent technology. The model consists of five separate agents that simulate TCM’s implicit morphological structure (zang-fu-organs), and a display agent who is responsible for showing TCM’ s external morphological structure; through the qi, blood and body fluids, the connections are achieved among the zang-fu-organs; meridians and collaterals (M&Cs) are defined as the interactive environment of agents. The model can simulate the basic structure and functions of TCM human body, and lay a good foundation for TCM digital human body implementation.

An orthogonal-polarized directional backlight-based three-dimensional (3D) display is proposed. This backlight consists of an orthogonal-polarized backlight and a parallax barrier, so it can project light with different polarized directions to different spatial directions. The backlight can project the pixels with different polarized directions on the two-dimensional display in different directions and form 3D images. With this backlight, the proposed display can provide double horizontal resolution. A prototype of this display is developed. Experiment results show that this display with double horizontal resolution can provide a better display effect than the conventional one, and it can decrease crosstalk to a low level.

The 3D display based on a parallax barrier is a low-cost autostereoscopic display. However, the vertical and horizontal resolution of the 3D images displayed on it will be seriously nonuniform as this display has a large number of views. It will worsen the display quality; therefore, a 3D display that consists of a 2D display panel and dual parallax barriers is proposed. With a 2D display panel, the proposed 3D display provides the synthetic images with square pixel units in which the arrangement of pixels can make the 3D image have uniform resolution. With the dual parallax barriers, the proposed 3D display shows the pixels in square pixel units for different horizontal views. Therefore, this display has uniform resolution of 3D images. A four-view prototype of the proposed 3D display is developed, and it provides uniform 3D resolution in the vertical and horizontal directions.
