Abstract

The dependability of the theoretical technique applied for the explanation of the electronic structure of the hydrogen-bonded network is evaluated by a comparison of the estimated geometry parameters with existing parameters. Cyclic structures with S4 symmetry similar in the hydrogen-bond composition to that of the water tetramer are found as minima at the potential energy surface of silanol tetramers.

Abstract

An investigation of the structure and vibrational spectrum of 3,6-dichlorophyridazine and 3,4,5-trichloropyridazine is presented. It was found that the a priori scaled spectra were sufficiently decisive to obtain a full assignment of the vibrational spectra.
