To enhance the sensitivity, signal-to-noise ratio and durance of electrospray mass spectrometer, an off-axis ion guide combining a traveling-wave (TW) stacked-ring and a shaped ion funnel has been designed, which is capable of filtering out the neutral contaminants and charged droplets entrained in the electrospray plume. According to its structural characteristics, the corresponding TW and radio frequency (RF) coupling power supply and measurement as well as control system were designed. Customizable Ethernet communication protocol was used to control the field-programmable logic gate array (FPGA) for full-circuit signal control and generation, and an 8-channel traveling-wave amplitude monitoring was achieved through a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). In addition, dual-plane transformer coupling circuit was designed. The use of traveling wave changed the central reference frame of the RF, achieving the purpose of programmed RF and the effect of TW in the stacked-ring to provide axial kinetic energy. The stability and accuracy of the electrical parameters of the hardware system on the off-axis transmission structure were tested. The results showed that the controllable voltage range of TW power supply is 0.1-100 V and the controlled DC power supply’s full range detection and control absolute error are less than 0.04 V. The frequency of TW up to 400 kHz, both rising edge and falling edge are less than 30 ns. Furthermore, the waveforms of TW, RF and post-coupling waveform are sufficiently smooth. The test results also showed that the performance of the power supply and measurement and control system are stable and reliable, and their accuracy and range can satisfy the design requirements. Then, the performance of off-axis structure was tested under rough vacuum using reserpine ions. It was found that the reference voltage difference between the upper and lower traveling-waves (the voltage which the ions were extracted), the voltage of the upper traveling-waves, and the traveling-wave duty cycle of the off-axis ion transmitter have more significant effects on the off-axis transmission of ions than other electrical parameters. The experimental results provide a fundamental understanding of ion transport and off-axis separation of traveling-wave stacked-ring structures, which is valuable for the development of high signal-to-noise mass spectrometry system. In the future, this novel traveling-wave off-axis transmitter and its coupling power supply system will be applied to homemade mass spectrometry instruments. Besides, we will compare the developed device with the mainstream ion transmission devices in the market so as to further improve the device structure and power supply parameters, and deeply explore the role of traveling-wave off-axis transmitter in different ionization sources and different detectors.

The enrichment of organic matter in high-quality marine shale is generally controlled by factors such as the redox conditions of sedimentary environments, productivity levels, terrigenous input, and ancient productivity. However, the controlling effect of the sedimentary environment on organic matter enrichment in intracratonic sag is still unclear. This study takes samples from the Qiongzhusi formation shale in southern Sichuan Basin as the research object, focusing on trace elements as well as rare earth elements in different stratigraphic intervals. The provenance of the Qiongzhusi formation shale is mainly terrigenous, with sediment sources mainly consisting of sedimentary rocks and granites. The primary sedimentary environment transitions from a continental margin setting, influenced by rift-related tectonic activity and sediment influx from adjacent landmasses, to an open oceanic environment characterized by mid-ocean ridge processes and oceanic plate subduction zones. During sedimentation, saline water was present, with predominant sedimentary environments ranging from shallow water to deep water continental shelves. The shale in the study area is characterized by a higher content of silicates and a lower content of carbonate minerals. Its siliceous sources are mainly influenced by biogenic and terrigenous debris, indicating higher ancient primary productivity and representing a favorable target for shale gas exploration.

As field effect transistors are reduced to nanometer dimensions, experimental and theoretical research has shown a gradual change in noise generation mechanisms. There are few studies on noise theory for small nanoscale transistors, and Monte Carlo (MC) simulations mainly focus on 2D devices with larger nanoscale dimensions. In this study, we employed MC simulation techniques to establish a 3D device simulation process. By setting device parameters and writing simulation programs, we simulated the raw data of channel current noise for a silicon-based metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) with a 10 nm channel length and calculated the drain output current based on these data, thereby achieving static testing of the simulated device. Additionally, this study obtained a 3D potential distribution map of the device channel surface area. Based on the original data from the simulation analysis, this study further calculated the power spectral density of the channel current noise and analyzed how the channel current noise varies with gate voltage, source–drain voltage, temperature, and substrate doping density. The results indicate that under low-temperature conditions, the channel current noise of the 10 nm MOSFET is primarily composed of suppressed shot noise, with the proportion of thermal noise in the total noise slightly increasing as temperature rises. Under normal operating conditions, the channel current noise characteristics of the 10 nm MOSFET device are jointly characterized by suppressed shot noise, thermal noise, and cross-correlated noise. Among these noise components, shot noise is the main source of noise, and its suppression degree decreases as the bias voltage is reduced. These findings are consistent with experimental observations and theoretical analyses found in the existing literature.

Currently, an increasing number of people are opting to use transformer models or conformer models for language identification, achieving outstanding results. Among them, transformer models based on self-attention can only capture global information, lacking finer local details. There are also approaches that employ conformer models by concatenating convolutional neural networks and transformers to capture both local and global information. However, this static single-branch architecture is difficult to interpret and modify, and it incurs greater inference difficulty and computational costs compared to dual-branch models. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel model called Branch-transformer (B-transformer). In contrast to traditional transformers, it consists of parallel dual-branch structures. One branch utilizes self-attention to capture global information, while the other employs a Convolutional Gated Multi-Layer Perceptron (cgMLP) module to extract local information. We also investigate various fusion methods for integrating global and local information and experimentally validate the effectiveness of our approach on the NIST LRE 2017 dataset.

Ammonia is important, both as a fertilizer and as a carrier of clean energy, mainly produced by the Haber-Bosch process, which consumes hydrogen and emits large amounts of carbon dioxide. The ENRR (Electronchemical Nitrogen Reduction Reaction) is considered a promising method for nitrogen fixation owing to their low energy consumption, green and mild. However, the ammonia yield and Faraday efficiency of the ENRR catalysts are low due to the competitive reaction between HER and NRR, the weak adsorption of N2 andthe strong N≡N triple bond. Oxygen vacancy engineering is the most important method to improve NRR performance, not only for fast electron transport but also for effective breaking of the N≡N bond by capturing metastable electrons in the antibonding orbitals of nitrogen molecules. In this review, the recent progress of OVs (oxygen vacancies) in ENRR has been summarized. First, the mechanism of NRR is briefly introduced, and then the generation methods of OVs and their applicationin NRR are discussed, including vacuum annealing, hydrothermal method, hydrogen reduction, wet chemical reduction, plasma treatment and heterogeneous ion doping. Finally, the development and challenges of OVs in the field of electrochemical nitrogen fixation are presented. This review shows the important areas of development of catalysts to achieve industrially viable NRR.

Xyloglucan endotransglycosylase/hydrolase (XTH) genes play an important role in plant resistance to abiotic stress. However, systematic studies of the response of Boehmeria nivea (ramie) XTH genes (BnXTHs) to cadmium (Cd) stress are lacking. We sought to identify the BnXTH-family genes in ramie through bioinformatics analyses and to investigate their responses to Cd stress. We identified 19 members of the BnXTH gene family from the ramie genome, referred to as BnXTH1-19, among which BnXTH18 and BnXTH19 were located on no chromosomes and the remaining genes were unevenly distributed across 11 chromosomes. The 19 members were divided into four groups, Groups I/II/IIIA/IIIB, according to their phylogenetic relationships, and these groups were supported by analyses of intron–exon structure and conserved motif composition. A highly conserved catalytic site (HDEIDFEFLG) was observed in all BnXTH proteins. Additionally, three gene pairs (BnXTH6–BnXTH16, BnXTH8–BnXTH9, and BnXTH17–BnXTH18) were obtained with a fragment and tandem-repeat event analysis of the ramie genome. An analysis of cisregulatory elements revealed that BnXTH expression might be regulated by multiple hormones and abiotic and biotic stress responses. In particular, 17 cisregulatory elements related to abiotic and biotic stress responses and 11 cisregulatory elements related to hormone responses were identified. We also found that most BnXTH genes responded to Cd stress, and BnXTH1, BnXTH3, BnXTH6, and BnXTH15 were most likely to contribute to the Cd tolerance of ramie, as evidenced by the substantial increases in expression under Cd treatment. Heterologous expression of BnXTH1, BnXTH6, and BnXTH15 significantly enhanced the Cd tolerance of transgenic yeast cells. These results suggest that the BnXTH gene family is involved in Cd stress responses, laying a theoretical foundation for functional studies of BnXTH genes and the innovative breeding of Cd-tolerant ramie.

Bmpr2 plays a central role in the regulation of reproductive development in mammals, but its role during ovarian development in fish is still unclear. To ascertain the function of bmpr2 in ovarian development in the ricefield eel, we isolated and characterized the bmpr2 cDNA sequence; the localization of Bmpr2 protein was determined by immunohistochemical staining; and the expression patterns of bmpr2 in ovarian tissue incubated with FSH and hCG in vitro were analyzed. The full-length bmpr2 cDNA was 3311 bp, with 1061 amino acids encoded. Compared to other tissues, bmpr2 was abundantly expressed in the ovary and highly expressed in the early yolk accumulation (EV) stages of the ovary. In addition, a positive signal for Bmpr2 was detected in the cytoplasm of oocytes in primary growth (PG) and EV stages. In vitro, the expression level of gdf9, the ligand of bmpr2, in the 10 ng/mL FSH treatment group was significantly higher after incubation for 4 h than after incubation for different durations. However, bmpr2 expression in the 10 ng/mL FSH treatment group at 2 h, 4 h and 10 h was significantly lower. Importantly, the expression level of bmpr2 and gdf9 in the 100 IU/mL hCG group had similar changes that were significantly decreased at 4 h and 10 h. In summary, Bmpr2 might play a pivotal role in ovarian growth in the ricefield eel, and these results provide a better understanding of the function of bmpr2 in ovarian development and the basic data for further exploration of the regulatory mechanism of gdf9 in oocyte development.

Sequential recommendations have made great strides in accurately predicting the future behavior of users. However, seeking accuracy alone may bring side effects such as unfair and overspecialized recommendation results. In this work, we focus on the calibrated recommendations for sequential recommendation, which is connected to both fairness and diversity. On the one hand, it aims to provide fairer recommendations whose preference distributions are consistent with users’ historical behaviors. On the other hand, it can improve the diversity of recommendations to a certain degree. But existing methods for calibration have mainly relied on the post-processing on the candidate lists, which require more computation time in generating recommendations. In addition, they fail to establish the relationship between accuracy and calibration, leading to the limitation of accuracy. To handle these problems, we propose an end-to-end framework to provide both accurate and calibrated recommendations for sequential recommendation. We design an objective function to calibrate the interests between recommendation lists and historical behaviors. We also provide distribution modification approaches to improve the diversity and mitigate the effect of imbalanced interests. In addition, we design a decoupled-aggregated model to improve the recommendation. The framework assigns two objectives to two individual sequence encoders, and aggregates the outputs by extracting useful information. Experiments on benchmark datasets validate the effectiveness of our proposed model.

Temperature reflects the balance between production and dissipate of heat. Flexible temperature sensors are primary sensors used for temperature monitoring. To obtain real-time and accurate information of temperature, different flexible temperature sensors are developed according to the principle of flexible resistance temperature detector (FRTC), flexible thermocouple, flexible thermistor and flexible thermochromic, showing great potential in energy conversion and storage. In order to obtain high integration and multifunction, various flexible temperature sensors are studied and optimized, including active-matrix flexible temperature sensor, self-powered flexible temperature sensor, self-healing flexible temperature sensor and self-cleaning flexible temperature sensor. This review focuses on the structure, material, fabrication and performance of flexible temperature sensors. Also, some typical applications of flexible temperature sensors are discussed and summarized.

The longevity of asphalt pavements is a key focus of road engineering, which closely relates to the self-healing ability of bitumen. Our work aims to establish a CGMD model and matched force field for bitumen and break through the limitations of the research scale to further explore the microscopic mechanism of bitumen self-healing. In this study, a CGMD mapping scheme containing 16 kinds of beads is proposed, and the non-bond potential energy function and bond potential energy function are calculated based on all-atom simulation to construct and validate a coarse-grained model for bitumen. On this basis, a micro-crack model with a width of 36.6nm is simulated, and the variation laws of potential energy, density, diffusion coefficient, relative concentration and temperature in the process of bitumen self-healing are analyzed with the cracking rate parameter proposed to characterize the degree of bitumen crack healing. The results show that the computational size of the coarse-grained simulation is much larger than that of the all-atom, which can explain the self-healing mechanism at the molecular level. In the self-healing process, non-bonded interactions dominate the molecular movement, and differences in the decreased rate of diffusion among the components indicate that saturates and aromatics play a major role in self-healing. Meanwhile, the variations in crack rates reveal that healing time is inversely proportional to temperature. The impact of increasing temperature on reducing healing time is most obvious when the temperature approaches the glass transition temperature (300 K).

Apoptosis plays a key role in the effective removal of excessive and defective germ cells, which is essential for sequential hermaphroditism and sex change in vertebrates. The ricefield eel, Monopterus albus is a protogynous hermaphroditic fish that undergoes a sequential sex change from female to male. Previous studies have demonstrated that apoptosis is involved in sex change in M. albus. However, the apoptotic signaling pathway is unclear. In the current study, we explored the underlying mechanism of apoptosis during gonadal development and focused on the role of the mitochondrial apoptosis signaling pathway in sex change in M. albus. Flow cytometry was performed to detect apoptosis in gonads at five sexual stages and ovary tissues exposed to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in vitro. Then the expression patterns of key genes and proteins in the mitochondrial pathway, death receptor pathway and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) pathway were examined. The results showed that the apoptosis rate was significantly increased in the early intersexual stage and then decreased with the natural sex change from female to male. Quantitative real-time PCR revealed that bax, tnfr1, and calpain were mainly expressed in the five stages. ELISA demonstrated that the relative content of cytochrome-c (cyt-c) in the mitochondrial pathway was significantly higher than that of caspase8 and caspase12, with a peak in the early intersexual stage, while the levels of caspase8 and caspase12 peaked in the late intersexual stage. Interestingly, the Pearson’s coefficient between cyt-c and the apoptosis rate was 0.705, which suggests that these factors are closely related during the gonadal development of M. albus. Furthermore, the cyt-c signal was found to be increased in the intersexual stage by immunohistochemistry. After incubation with H2O2, the mRNA expression of mitochondrial pathway molecules such as bax, apaf-1, and caspase3 increased in ovary tissues. In conclusion, the present results suggest that the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway may play a more important role than the other apoptotic pathways in sex change in M. albus.

Graphitic carbon nitride (g−CN), a promising visible-light-responsive semiconductor material, is regarded as a fascinating photocatalyst and heterogeneous catalyst for various reactions due to its non-toxicity, high thermal durability and chemical durability, and “earth-abundant” nature. However, practical applications of g−CN in photoelectrochemical (PEC) and photoelectronic devices are still in the early stages of development due to the difficulties in fabricating high-quality g−CN layers on substrates, wide band gaps, high charge-recombination rates, and low electronic conductivity. Various fabrication and modification strategies of g−CN-based films have been reported. This review summarizes the latest progress related to the growth and modification of high-quality g−CN-based films. Furthermore, (1) the classification of synthetic pathways for the preparation of g−CN films, (2) functionalization of g−CN films at an atomic level (elemental doping) and molecular level (copolymerization), (3) modification of g−CN films with a co-catalyst, and (4) composite films fabricating, will be discussed in detail. Last but not least, this review will conclude with a summary and some invigorating viewpoints on the key challenges and future developments.

Compared with text-independent speaker verification (TI-SV) systems, text-dependent speaker verification (TD-SV) counterparts often have better performance for their efficient utilization of speech content information. On this account, some TI-SV methods tried to boost performance by incorporating an extra automatic speech recognition (ASR) component to explore content information, such as c-vector. However, the introduced ASR component requires a large amount of annotated data and consumes high computation resources. In this paper, we propose a pseudo-phoneme label (PPL) loss for the TI-SR task by integrating content cluster loss at the frame level and speaker recognition loss at the segment level in a unified network by multitask learning, without additional data requirement and exhausting computation. By referring to HuBERT, we generate pseudo-phoneme labels to adjust a frame level feature distribution by deep cluster to ensure each cluster corresponds to an implicit pronunciation unit in the feature space. We compare the proposed loss with the softmax loss, center loss, triplet loss, log-likelihood-ratio cost loss, additive margin softmax loss and additive angular margin loss on the VoxCeleb database. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method.

Recently, the lexicon method has been proven to be effective for named entity recognition (NER). However, most existing lexicon-based methods cannot fully utilize common-sense knowledge in the knowledge graph. For example, the word embeddings pretrained by Word2vector or Glove lack better contextual semantic information usage. Hence, how to make the best of knowledge for the NER task has become a challenging and hot research topic. We propose a knowledge graph-inspired named-entity recognition (KGNER) featuring a masking and encoding method to incorporate common sense into bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT). The proposed method not only preserves the original sentence semantic information but also takes advantage of the knowledge information in a more reasonable way. Subsequently, we model the temporal dependencies by taking the conditional random field (CRF) as the backend, and improve the overall performance. Experiments on four dominant datasets demonstrate that the KGNER outperforms other lexicon-based models in terms of performance.

Gold nanoparticles conjugated with collagen molecules and fibers have been proven to improve structure strength, water and enzyme degradation resistance, cell attachment, cell proliferation, and skin wound healing. In this study, high-power impulse magnetron sputtering (HiPIMS) was used to deposit ultrathin gold films (UTGF) and discontinuous island structures on type I collagen substrates. A long turn-off time of duty cycle and low chamber temperature of HiPIMS maintained substrate morphology. Increasing the deposition time from 6 s to 30 s elevated the substrate surface coverage by UTGF up to 91.79%, as observed by a field emission scanning electron microscope. X-ray diffractometry analysis revealed signature low and wide peaks for Au (111). The important surface functional groups and signature peaks of collagen substrate remained unchanged according to Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results. Multi-peak curve fitting of the Amide I spectrum revealed the non-changed protein secondary structure of type I collagen, which mainly consists of α-helix. Atomic force microscopy observation showed that the roughness average value shifted from 1.74 to 4.17 nm by increasing the deposition time from 13 s to 77 s. The uneven surface of collagen substrate made quantification of thin film thickness by AFM difficult. Instead, UTGF thickness was measured using simultaneously deposited glass specimens placed in an HiPIMS chamber with collagen substrates. Film thickness was 3.99 and 10.37 nm at deposition times of 13 and 77 s, respectively. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed preserved substrate elements on the surface. Surface water contact angle measurement revealed the same temporary hydrophobic behavior before water absorption via exposed collagen substrates, regardless of deposition time. In conclusion, HiPIMS is an effective method to deposit UTGF on biomedical materials such as collagen without damaging valuable substrates. The composition of two materials could be further used for biomedical purposes with preserved functions of UTGF and collagen.

It is well known that the effect of shale hydration causes wellbore instability due to water phase invasion of drilling fluid to lamellar shale rich formations. This is because of that the mechanical properties (compressive strength, elastic modulus, etc.) of lamellar shale surrounding the borehole, which is rich in clay minerals, will decrease significantly after hydration. In this study, using the lamellar shale in the continental stratum of the southern Ordos Basin, the mechanical properties of lamellar shale were studied by compression tests considering the effect of lamellar structure and hydration from a macroscopic point of view. In addition, the mechanical mechanism was discussed combined with the CT scanning tests results from a microscopic point of view. The results demonstrate the following points. Lamellar shale has stronger anisotropy than bedding shale, the compressive strength (deviatoric stress) and elastic modulus of lamellar shale are both lower than those of bedding shale, and it is more prone to tension fracture. With the increase in the angle (β) between the lamina and the axial direction from 0° to 90°, the compressive strength of lamellar shale decreases when β < 30° and then increases, the elastic modulus of lamellar shale decreases greatly when β < 30° and then tends to flatten. With the increase in hydration time, the compressive strength and elastic modulus of lamellar shale both gradually decrease, and the rates of their decrements reduce. The mechanical properties of lamellar shale are more affected by hydration than those of bedding shale. The hydration of lamellar shale leads to the formation of new fractures and the expansion of existing fractures in the junction area between the laminae and rock matrix, resulting in easy tension fracture along the laminae of shale.

The task of unsupervised anomalous sound detection (ASD) is challenging for detecting anomalous sounds from a large audio database without any annotated anomalous training data. Many unsupervised methods were proposed, but previous works have confirmed that the classification-based models far exceeds the unsupervised models in ASD. In this paper, we adopt two classification-based anomaly detection models: (1) Outlier classifier is to distinguish anomalous sounds or outliers from the normal; (2) ID classifier identifies anomalies using both the confidence of classification and the similarity of hidden embeddings. We conduct experiments in task 2 of DCASE 2020 challenge, and our ensemble method achieves an averaged area under the curve (AUC) of 95.82% and averaged partial AUC (pAUC) of 92.32%, which outperforms the state-of-the-art models.

Bone tissue engineering (BTE) is an optimized approach for bone regeneration to overcome the disadvantages of lacking donors. Biocompatibility, biodegradability, simulation of extracellular matrix (ECM), and excellent mechanical properties are essential characteristics of BTE scaffold, sometimes including drug loading capacity. Electrospinning is a simple technique to prepare fibrous scaffolds because of its efficiency, adaptability, and flexible preparation of electrospinning solution. Recent studies about electrospinning in BTE are summarized in this review. First, we summarized various types of polymers used in electrospinning and methods of electrospinning in recent work. Then, we divided them into three parts according to their main role in BTE, (1) ECM simulation, (2) mechanical support, and (3) drug delivery system.

The distributed attitude synchronization control problem for spacecraft formation flying subject to limited energy and computational resources is addressed based on event-triggered mechanism. Firstly, a distributed event-driven controller is designed to achieve attitude coordination with the limitation of energy and computing resources. Under the proposed control strategy, the controller is only updated at the event triggering instants, which effectively reduces the update frequency. Subsequently, an event-triggered strategy is developed to further decrease energy consumption and the amount of computation. The proposed event-triggered function only requires the latest state information about its neighbors, implying that the trigger threshold does not need to be calculated continuously. It is shown that the triggering interval between two successive events is strictly positive, showing that the control system has no Zeno phenomenon. Moreover, the update frequency of the proposed controller can be reduced by more than 90% compared to the update frequency of the corresponding time-driven controller with an update frequency of 10 Hz by choosing appropriate control parameters and the control system can still achieve high-precision convergence. Finally, the effectiveness of the constructed control scheme is verified by numerical simulations.

In contrast to typical radially symmetrical flowers, zygomorphic flowers, such as those produced by pea (Pisum sativum L.), have bilateral symmetry, manifesting dorsoventral (DV) and organ internal (IN) asymmetry. However, the molecular mechanism controlling IN asymmetry remains largely unclear. Here, we used a comparative mapping approach to clone SYMMETRIC PETALS 1 (SYP1), which encodes a key regulator of floral organ internal asymmetry. Phylogenetic analysis showed that SYP1 is an ortholog of Arabidopsis thaliana LIGHT-DEPENDENT SHORT HYPOCOTYL 3 (LSH3), an ALOG (Arabidopsis LSH1 and Oryza G1) family transcription factor. Genetic analysis and physical interaction assays showed that COCHLEATA (COCH, Arabidopsis BLADE-ON-PETIOLE ortholog), a known regulator of compound leaf and nodule identity in pea, is involved in organ internal asymmetry and interacts with SYP1. COCH and SYP1 had similar expression patterns and COCH and SYP1 target to the nucleus. Furthermore, our results suggested that COCH represses the 26S proteasome-mediated degradation of SYP1 and regulates its abundance. Our study suggested that the COCH-SYP1 module plays a pivotal role in floral organ internal asymmetry development in legumes.

The antioxidant effect of salidroside has been proven, but its role in liver injury is poorly understood. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the protective effects and mechanism of salidroside on liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) in vivo. Mice were pretreated with salidroside (60 mg/kg, intraperitoneally injected, i.p.) once per day for 14 consecutive days and then administered with CCl4 (15.95 g/kg, i.p.) for 24 h to produce a liver injury model. Salidroside attenuated hepatic transaminase elevation in serum and ameliorated liver steatosis and necrosis, thereby suggesting its protective effect on the liver. Salidroside antagonized CCl4-induced toxicity by equilibrating antioxidation system, thereby inhibiting reactive oxygen species accumulation, and restoring mitochondrial structure and function. Salidroside exerts antioxidant and liver-protective effects by selectively inhibiting the activation of genes, including growth arrest and DNA -damage-inducible 45 α (Gadd45a), mitogen-activated protein kinase 7 (Mapk7), and related RAS viral oncogene homolog 2 (Rras2), which induce oxidative stress in the mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway. These results revealed that salidroside can protect the liver from CCl4-induced injury by resisting oxidative stress and protecting mitochondrial function.

Chalcogenides have attracted great attention as functional materials in optics, electronics, and energy-related applications due to their typical semiconductor properties. Among those chalcogenides, Sb2S3 holds great promise in energy storage field, especially as an anode material for alkali metal (Li, Na, and K) batteries. In this work, a one-dimensional coaxial Sb2S3@PPy is investigated as a versatile and robust anode in three kinds of alkali metal batteries for the first time, and the energy storage mechanism of these batteries is systematically discussed. As an anode material for sodium ion batteries (SIBs) and potassium ion batteries (KIBs), Sb2S3@PPy exhibits high reversible capacity and impressive cycle lifespan. Sb2S3@PPy anode demonstrates an adsorption behavior that has a significant influence on its sodium storage behavior, providing a universal model for studying the application of chalcogenide compounds.
