The study aims to evaluate the roundness error in drilling of Novel Hybrid glass/luffa/epoxy composites by addition of silica nanoparticles in comparison with plain luffa natural fiber composites. he plain luffa natural fiber composite reinforced with epoxy/glass fiber taken as control group(N=20). The luffa/glass material is reinforced along with an epoxy matrix mixed by addition of silica nanoparticles filler taken as an experimental group(N=20). The control group and experimental group are conducted by using a hand lay-up method. Roundness in drilling is conducted as per ASTM standards. Roundness error during drilling was calculated by using the imageJ software and the damaged area was compared for both groups. The G power test was used to assess the number of samples in each group. Glass fiber with plain luffa without filler epoxy composite laminate exhibited a decrease of 64.66% in damage area than the 2% volume fraction of silica nanoparticles luffa/glass laminates. The significant value of P is 0.043 (<0.05). Within the limits of study, glass fiber/luffa fiber reinforced with epoxy material without filler exhibits a significant reduction in the roundness error during the drilling process.
