Indonesia is the second most active user of the TikTok application in the first quarter of 2022 because it spends an average of 23.1 hours per month on TikTok. The use of time by the user should not be wasted and can produce benefits in the form of information according to the facts. This research uses participatory media culture theory which explains the ways in which new media culture offers audiences to jointly take on the role of media consumers and media producers at the same time. The media in this research is the TikTok application. The research method is a quantitative research method which aims to show the relationship between the influence of the use of the TikTok application as variable This research includes quantitative data collection, analysis, and statistical testing. With a population of 326 people, a sample of 77 people was taken using the Slovin formula. Data was obtained by distributing closed questionnaires using a Likert scale. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the use of the TikTok application on student information literacy, namely 54.0%, meaning that the influence of the independent variable, namely the use of the TikTok application, on student information literacy is 54.0% while the remainder is (100% - 54.0%) is 46% influenced by other variables outside this research. The R-Square value of 54% is included in the moderate category, meaning that the influence of using the TikTok application on student information literacy depends on the individual user's use of the application.

Background: The UM Library carries out its functions and roles as a learning resource center and scientific information reference center for UM academic members. In the current era of information flooding, it is necessary to foster information literacy for academics as a provision for them to carry out various academic activities and lifelong learning processes. Methods: This research uses a library research approach. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis techniques and content analysis. Purpose: This condition prompted the UM Library to develop the KelasiUM (UM Library Literacy Class) with the aim of (1) increasing the information literacy competence of academics, and (2) optimizing the role and function of the UM Library as a means of supporting academic activities. ClassiUM was developed based on five information literacy standards based on ACRL and the use of The Big6 literacy model. Findings: The UM Library has carried out several student literacy development activities, including (1) library orientation during PKKMB, (2) direct (face-to-face) literacy development, and (3) online literacy development through social media. However, these activities are not optimal because there are still many academicians who do not know about various sources of information both in the library and outside the library. Conclusion: With the implementation of the KelasiUM program, it is hoped that the information literacy competence of UM academics can be improved through the presentation of kelasiUM material, which will lead to increased academic achievement. The aim of this activity is to provide training on how to search and use information sources for students. The location of this activity was carried out at Madrasah Tsyanawiyah (MTs) Ihlasul Amanah Pangalengan Bandung Regency. The participants were students from class VII to Class VIII. This community service activity is carried out offline with the number of participants limited to only 40 people. There were several topics discussed by the speakers, ranging from information technology, information literacy and media literacy to how to search for and use information sources. The method used in this activity is in the form of counseling and practice on how to search and use information sources. To find out the results of this activity, a pre-test was carried out before delivering the material and a post-test was carried out after delivering the material. Based on the results of this activity, it is known that students generally know how to search for and use information sources. Moreover, the use of information technology such as gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic became the main tool in the student teaching and learning process. The rapid development of social media is influenced by technological developments, which are evolving more and more here and faster. Currently the use of social media is inseparable from people's lives. their every activity always involves social media whether it's to find information about work, hobbies, entertainment and phenomena that are currently trending. In its use, it is sometimes easier for people to believe news or information circulating through social media, even though the truth of the information is not yet known. The purpose of this training is to educate the public on how to respond and use social media in a healthy and responsible manner. The method used is the lecture method accompanied by examples of information on social media that is hoax, credible and accountable. Besides that, material was also given on how to distinguish information on social media between true and credible information. Currently, the use of social media is increasingly varied, social media is no longer only used as a means to communicate or socialize, but social media is often used as educational facilities, promotional tools (both commercial and social promotions), and others. There are at least two steps or methods that can be taken to stem the growth and development of social media. First, conduct awareness raising activities in the community (media/digital literacy) so that they are wise and intelligent in media. Abstract The integration of Islamic values in the learning process at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung has become the hallmark of the campus. The Islamic values integrated into the learning process by providing the verses from the Quran for the concepts studied. This study aims to analyze the ability of students used to live in an Islamic boarding school (pesantren) and those who haven’t yet live in an Islamic boarding school in identifying the verses of al-Quran related to some concept of physics. The research was conducted through observation in classrooms and analysis of students’ assignment on identifying. The results showed that generally, students have a decent ability in identifying Qur'anic verses related to the concept of physics. The students' ability appeared not to be influenced by the pesantren educational background. However, largely students are not able to interpret the verses of the Qur'an related to the physics concept in depth. Abstrak Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam proses pembelajaran di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung telah menjadi ciri khas kampus. Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam proses pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan menghubungkan ayat-ayat al-Quran dengan konsep-konsep yang dipelajari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Fisika yang pernah tinggal di pesantren dan yang tidak pernah tinggal di pesantren dalam mengidentifikasi ayat-ayat al-Quran terkait dengan konsep fisika. Penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi di ruang kelas dan analisis tugas yang dikumpulkan dari mahasiswa ketika mengidentifikasi ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang berkaitan dengan konsep fisika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan umumnya mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan yang layak dalam mengidentifikasi ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang berkaitan dengan konsep fisika. Kemampuan mahasiswa tersebut tidak dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang pendidikan di pesantren.
