Stathmopoda jinxiuensis S. Wang & Guan, sp. nov. (Figs 12, 37) Type material. CHINA, Guangxi: Holotype ♂, Mt. Dayao (24.14°N, 110.09°E), Jinxiu, 823 m, 20.VII.2015, leg. MJ Qi & SN Zhao, slide No. GW 15055. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. miniloba sp. nov. in the features of the male genitalia, but it can be distinguished by the dark brown forewing having a large yellow subbasal patch; the costa of the valva produced trapezoidally, the triangular cucullus, and the aedeagus with cornuti. In S. miniloba, the brown forewing has a large silvery white subbasal patch; the costa of the valva is produced triangularly, the cucullus is sub-ovate, and the aedeagus lacks cornutus in the male genitalia. Description. Adult (Fig. 12). Wingspan 11.0 mm. Head with frons white; vertex brown; occiput rust red. Labial palpus silvery white on inner surface, second segment yellowish brown on outer surface, third segment dark brown on outer surface. Antenna dark yellowish brown, with scattered blackish brown scales on scape. Thorax ochreous yellow except black from middle to before posterior margin, with two silvery white dots at posterior 1/3; tegula ochreous yellow, with scattered grey scales. Forewing dark brown, with two ochreous yellow spots between costal margin and fold basally, with an ochreous yellow streak along basal 1/4 of fold; large triangular yellow patch extending from basal 1/5 of costal margin widened to between basal 1/8 and 3/10 of dorsal margin; fringe dark brown. Hindwing and fringe dark brown. Legs pale brown dorsally, cream ventrally; foreleg with tibia and tarsus blackish brown on outer surface; midleg with tibia blackish brown at base, middle and apex, with ochreous yellow bristles at middle and apex; hindleg with tibia bearing long brown bristles at apex, tarsus with brown bristles at apex of basal tarsomere. Abdomen blackish brown on dorsal surface, greyish white on ventral surface. Male genitalia (Fig. 37). Uncus wide at base, gradually narrowed to middle, abruptly narrowed from beyond middle to narrowly rounded apex. Gnathos lingulate, produced medioapically. Tegumen with height 1.2 times length of uncus, extended anterolaterally. Valva with costa produced trapezoidally; cucullus triangular, obliquely upturned, apex obtusely rounded, produced dorsoapically, rounded at ventroapical corner; sacculus 3/5 length of valva, narrowly banded, slightly concave near base on ventral margin, apex pointed, reaching ventroapical corner of cucullus. Vinculum band-shaped, triangularly extended, rounded anteriorly. Juxta inverted triangular, broadly obtuse on posterior maigin; narrowed anteriorly; anellar lobes oval, half length of juxta, with short setae. Aedeagus 1.3 times length of valva, tapered from base to apex, with a sclerite near base, with numerous spicules near apex; distal process 1/3 length of aedeagus, curved, rounded at apex; cornuti consisting of a tuft of long spines and a tuft of short spines, located at middle and near apex respectively. Stathmopoda sphaeroidea S. Wang & Guan, sp. nov. (Figs 16, 41a–b, 62) Type material. CHINA, Hainan: Holotype ♂, Mt. Limu Researves (19.10°N, 109.44°E), 607 m, 12.V.2015, leg. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the blackish brown forewing with two shining yellow spots; in the male genitalia by the gnathos heavily sclerotized distally and the cucullus dilated spherically; in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with two large same sized signa only slightly shorter than the length of the corpus bursae. It is similar to S. laiyangensis sp. nov. superficially, but can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the gnathos without a longitudinal pleat mediodistally, the hooked inner process of the valva and the distal process of the aedeagus about 1/3 the length of the aedeagus. In S. laiyangensis sp. nov., the gnathos has a longitudinal pleat mediodistally, the inner process of the valva is slenderly clubbed and the elongate rectangular distal process is about half the length of the aedeagus. Description. Adult (Fig. 16). Wingspan 7.5‒8.0 mm. Head with frons silvery grey; vertex dark bronzy brown; occiput blackish brown. Labial palpus blackish brown except second segment yellowish white on inner surface. Antenna blackish brown; flagellum blackish brown annulated with yellow. Collar blackish brown. Thorax and tegula yellow on anterior half, blackish brown on posterior half. Forewing blackish brown, with purplish shining; with two yellow spots: antemedian spot before basal 1/3, slightly narrowed to below costal margin; postmedian spot sub-rounded, at basal 2/3; fringe blackish brown. Hindwing and fringe brown. Legs pale ochreous yellow dorsally, cream white ventrally: foreleg with tibia blackish brown on outer surface and tarsus blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere; midleg with tibia blackish brown at base, middle and apex on dorsal surface, with pale yellowish brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus blackish brown at apex; hindleg with tibia annulated with black and bearing long blackish brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus annulated with black and bearing long blackish brown bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres, fourth and fifth tarsomeres silvery white. Abdomen dark brown on dorsal surface; greyish white on ventral surface, except fourth and fifth segments blackish brown. Male genitalia (Figs 41a–b). Uncus wide at base, with long setae laterally, slightly narrowed to basal 2/3, distal 1/3 almost uniformly wide, obtuse at apex. Gnathos wide at base, narrowed to apex, heavily sclerotized distally. Tegumen with height twice length of uncus. Valva sub-rectangular; cucullus spherical, setose, shorter than half length of valva; inner process hooked; costa slightly concave at middle; sacculus 5/6 length of valva, concave at basal 1/3 on ventral margin, apex rounded, reaching before apex of cucullus. Vinculum narrowly banded. Juxta subrounded, broadly obtuse on posterior margin; anellar lobes oval, about same length as juxta. Aedeagus 1.5 times length of valva, with a sclerotized plate near base, with numerous spicules between middle and basal 3/5, tubular from base to basal 2/3; distal process about 1/3 length of aedeagus, spatulate distally; cornutus absent. Female genitalia (Fig. 62). Papillae anales longer than wide, with short setae. Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately 2.5 times length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite concave in V shape anteromedially; eighth sternite triangularly produced anteriorly. Antrum sub-rectangular, slightly concave on anterior margin. Ductus bursae almost uniformly wide, 1.2 times length of corpus bursae, with 23‒25 denticles in anterior half on right side. Corpus bursae sub-oval, with two large same sized signa slightly shorter than corpus bursae: one longitudinally bow-shaped, with numerous microspines around, the other elongate rhombic, serrate on one side, with a sclerotized median ridge. Appendix bursae elliptical, originating from corpus bursae posteriorly; ductus seminalis originating from middle of ductus bursae, elongate tubular; bulla elliptical, located beyond middle. Distribution. China (Hainan, Yunnan). Host plant. Glochidion assamicum (Muell. Arg.) (Euphorbiaceae). Etymology. Stathmopoda apicihamata S. Wang & Guan, sp. nov. (Figs 3, 27) Type material. CHINA, Guizhou: Holotype ♂, Luodian County (25.42°N, 106.73°E), 500 m, 1.X.2012, leg. J Zhang & ZG Zhang, slide No. GW 15015. Paratype. Yunnan: 1♂, Baihualing, Baoshan, 1473 m, 5.VIII.2014, leg. KJ Teng et al., slide No. GW 14209. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. xanthomochla Meyrick, 1913 in the forewing pattern. It can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the apex-pointed gnathos 1/3 the length of the uncus, the short digitate inner process of the valva, and the cucullus narrowed to an obtuse apex. In S. xanthomochla, the apex-straight gnathos is the same length as the uncus, the inner process of the valva is elongately spine-shaped, and the cucullus is subrectangular. Description. Adult (Fig. 3). Wingspan 9.5‒10.0 mm. Head with frons pale brown; vertex dark brown; occiput blackish grey. Labial palpus yellowish white on inner surface, second segment brown and third segment dark brown on outer surface. Antenna blackish brown. Throax and tegula blackish grey. Forewing dark bronzy, with two yellow fasciae reaching below costal margin: antemedian fascia at basal 1/4, edged with dark brown scales; postmedian fascia at basal 2/3, with a rectangular dark brown streak on inner margin; fringe dark brown. Hindwing and fringe brown. Foreleg blackish brown on outer surface, greyish white on inner surface; midleg greyish white, tibia black at base, middle and apex respectively, with long dark brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus blackish brown dorsally; hindleg greyish white, tibia blackish brown at base, middle and apex, with long dark brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus with long dark brown bristles at apices of basal two tarsomeres, second tarsomere blackish brown. Abdomen dark brown on dorsal surface, grey on ventral surface. Male genitalia (Fig. 27). Uncus wide at base, narrowed to apex, with long setae laterally, apex hooked in lateral view. Gnathos sub-triangular, wide at base, abruptly narrowed to pointed apex, 1/3 length of uncus (Fig. 27a). Tegumen broad, height 1.2 times length of uncus, produced to a rectangular process anterolaterally. Valva with costa subrectangular; inner process short, digitate; cucullus elongate, length three times of maximum width, broad at base, narrowed to rounded apex, obliquely curved dorsoapically, androconia arranged elliptically, running from base to 1/4 length of cucullus ventrally; sacculus wide at base, narrowed to apex, slightly concave medially on ventral margin, with long setae distally, free from valva just before narrowly rounded apex. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus produced conically, 1/5 length of uncus. Juxta widely U-shaped, anterior margin produced medially; anellar lobes sub-conical, rounded apically, with long setae. Aedeagus 3/4 length of valva, basal 3/4 almost uniformly wide, distal 1/4 slightly narrowed; cornuti consisting of a tuft of short spines, a S-shaped needle between basal 1/4 and middle, and a long spine from middle to distal 1/4. Stathmopoda trigonia S. Wang & Guan, sp. nov. (Figs 5, 30, 53) Type material. CHINA, Hainan: Holotype ♂, Hongxin Village (19.07°N, 109.52°E), Yuanmen Town, Baisha County, 460 m, 29.VI.2014, leg. BB Hu & J Zhang, slide No. GW 15013. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. brachymochla Meyrick, 1937 in appearance and in male genitalia. It can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the triangularly arranged androconia running from base to middle, the aedeagus lacking a sclerite basally and with a straight slender distal process; in the female genitalia by the antrum without tufts of scales medially and the appendix bursae having 13‒14 denticles basally. In S. brachymochla, the androconia is arranged sub-rectangularly along basal 3/5 above ventral margin, the aedeagus has a sclerite near base and the spine-shaped distal process is bent at distal 2/5 (Fig. 29); the antrum has a tuft of black scales medio-longitudinally and the appendix bursae has 2‒3 denticles basally in the female genitalia. The new species is also similar to S. culcitella Sinev, 1995, and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 5). Wingspan 8.5‒10.5 mm. Head with frons pale greyish brown; vertex and occiput dark bronzy grey, with purplish metallic lustre. Labial palpus greyish brown on inner surface, dark brown on outer surface. Antenna blackish brown. Throax and tegula blackish grey. Forewing dark silvery grey, with two yellow fasciae not reaching costal margin: antemedian fascia beyond basal 1/3, edged with blackish brown scales laterally and anteriorly; postmedian fascia at basal 2/3, with a large sub-quadrate blackish brown patch on its inner margin not reaching dorsum, with scattered blackish brown scales on outer margin; distal 1/4 with a blackish brown spot along midline, weakening toward apex; fringe dark grey. Hindwing and fringe brown. Foreleg with tibia and tarsus blackish brown on outer surface, greyish white on inner surface; midleg with tibia greyish white, annulated with black at base, middle and apex respectively, with long dark brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus blackish brown dorsally, greyish white ventrally; hindleg greyish white, tibia annulated with black, bearing long dark brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus with long dark brown bristles at apices of basal two tarsomeres, second tarsomere blackish grey. Tegumen narrow, slightly widened anteriorly, height 1.5 times length of uncus, produced to a sub-quadrate process anterolaterally. Valva with costa wide basally; inner process hooked; cucullus sub-rectangular, length twice of median width, rounded at apex, produced dorsoapically, androconia triangularly arranged, running from base to middle, half length of cucullus; sacculus wide, concave before middle on ventral margin, distal half folded, free from valva, rounded apically. Vinculum narrowly banded. Juxta straight on posterior margin, obtusely rounded on anterior margin; anellar lobes long clubbed. Aedeagus approximately 5/6 length of valva, sub-rhombic; distal process slender, straight, 1/4 length of aedeagus; cornuti consisting of a S-shaped needle, a tuft of short spines at basal 1/3 and a long spine approximately half length of aedeagus distally (Fig. 30a). Female genitalia (Fig. 53). Papillae anales longer than wide, fused conically, with short setae. Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment seven times length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores 2.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite sub-rectangular; eighth sternite produced anteromedially. Antrum inverted T-shaped, with tufts of scales arranged in a fan-shape on its inner wall laterally, scale tufts black anteriorly, ochreous brown posteriorly. Ductus bursae broad and short, wrinkled, approximately half length of corpus bursae. Corpus bursae ovate, with a round membraneous process arising from outer surface posteriorly; two signa situated at middle, larger one with a wide ridge furcate on one end, smaller one elongate elliptical, serrate on one side.Appendix bursae arising from anterior part of ductus bursae, rugose, with 13‒14 denticles basally; ductus seminalis elongate tubular, granulous distally. Stathmopoda paradiplaspis S. Wang & Guan, sp. nov. (Figs 20, 45, 65) Type material. CHINA, Hong Kong: Holotype ♂, Kadoorie Farm (22°26′N, 114°07′E), 210 m, 15.IV.2007, leg. HH Li, slide No. GW 13159. The new species is similar to S. diplaspis (Meyrick, 1887) superficially. It can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the costa of the valva slightly projected before basal 1/3 and the aedeagus lacking spicules; in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with one signum. In S. diplaspis, the costa is convex dorsally and the aedeagus has numerous spicules ranging from basal 1/4 to 3/4; the corpus bursae has two signa. The new species is also similar to S. callopis Meyrick, 1913 in the features of genitalia, but can be distinguished by the forewing having two cream white patches and an ochreous yellow apical spot, the valva uniformly wide to obtuse apex and the narrowly banded sacculus smooth dorsally, and the appendix bursae has about 25 denticles basally. In S. callopis, the forewing has two ochreous yellow fasciae but lacks an ochreous yellow apical spot, the valva is slightly narrower distally and the sacculus is projected at dorsal 3/5, and the appendix bursae with more than 60 denticles (Wang 2006, P. 228, figs 385, 386). The new species is close to S. delitescens sp. nov. in the male genitalia, and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 20). Forewing dark brown, with two sub-elliptical cream white patches, edged with ochreous yellow scales: antemedian patch from basal 1/4 of ventral margin slightly narrowed and oblique outward to below costal margin; postmedian patch from beyond middle to basal 3/4, reaching costal margin anteriorly; apical spot ochreous yellow, small; fringe brown. Hindwing and fringe pale brown. Legs yellowish brown dorsally, cream white ventrally; foreleg with tibia and tarsus blackish brown; midleg with tibia with yellowish brown bristles at middle and apex on dorsal surface, tarsus blackish brown at apex; hindleg with tibia blackish brown and bearing brown bristles at apex, tarsus blackish brown on dorsal surface, with short yellowish brown bristles at apices of basal two tarsomeres. Abdomen greyish brown on dorsal surface; greyish white on ventral surface. Male genitalia (Fig. 45). Uncus wide at base, gradually narrowed to apex, obtuse at apex, with long setae laterally. Gnathos lingulate, narrowed to bluntly rounded apex. Tegumen with height 1.8 times length of uncus. Valva sub-rectangular, uniformly wide to obtuse apex; inner process short, conical; costa concave obliquely inward basally, slightly projected before basal 1/3; sacculus narrowly banded, half length of valva, smooth dorsally, slightly concave at middle ventrally, pointed apically, not free from valva. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus 1/5 length of uncus, papillary anteriorly. Juxta heart-shaped, concave in wide V-shape posteriorly, obtusely rounded anteriorly; anellar lobes elliptical, same length as juxta. Aedeagus tapered from base to apex, 1.4 times length of valva, with a sclerotized plate near base; distal process clubbed, 3/10 length of aedeagus; cornutus absent. Female genitalia (Fig. 65). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately three times length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately twice length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite concave in V-shape anteriorly, eighth sternite produced anteriorly. Antrum funnel-shaped, weakly sclerotized. Ductus bursae almost uniform, approximately 1.5 times length of corpus bursae. Corpus bursae rounded, spiculate; signum filiform, placed anteriorly. Appendix bursae originating from transition of ductus bursae and corpus bursae, roundly dilated and with 25 small denticles basally; bulla dilated, located at about middle; ductus seminalis narrow, with dense granules distally. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the lingulate gnathos with a longitudinal pleat, the elongate triangular valva without distinct cucullus, and the aedeagus with a elongate rectangular distal process. It is similar to S. sphaeroidea sp. nov. in the forewing pattern, and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the preceding species. Description. Adult (Fig. 19). It is similar to S. citrinella Sinev, 1995, but can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the cucullus obtusely rounded at apex, and the elongate elliptical anellar lobes; and in the female genitalia by the sub-rectangular antrum and the ductus seminalis with a row of clustered short spines distally. In S. citrinella, the cucullus is truncate at apex, and the anellar lobes are elongately clubbed; the antrum is bowl-shaped and the ductus seminalis has several denticles at apex. Description. Adult (Fig. 6). Wingspan 12.5–14.5 mm. Head with frons silvery white, vertex silvery white, mixed with ochreous, occiput ochreous. Labial palpus cream white on inner surface, pale yellow on outer surface, second segment dark brown in basal 1/3 on outer surface. Valva sub-rectangular; cucullus sub-quadrate, straight on dorsal margin, obtuse on ventral margin, obtusely rounded at apex; inner process narrowed and curved distally; costa convex roundly; sacculus narrowly banded, concave at basal 2/5 of ventral margin, apex rounded and free from cucullus, reaching before apex of valva. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus approximately 1/5 length of uncus. Juxta turbinate, pointed anteromedially, straight on posterior margin; anellar lobes elongate elliptical, with dense setae. Aedeagus 1.3 times length of valva, tapered from base to apex, with a sclerotized plate near base, with numerous spicules ranging from basal 1/4 to distal 3/10; distal process 1/3 length of aedeagus, relatively wide, narrowed from preapex to pointed apex. Female genitalia (Fig. 32). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately twice length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.8 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite sub-rectangular; eighth stenite produced anteriorly. Antrum sub-rectangular, obtusely rounded on anterior margin. Ductus bursae approximately 2/3 length of corpus bursae, gradually widened to corpus bursae. Corpus bursae elongate elliptical; with two differently sized signa, each with a sclerotized ridge, larger one approximately four times length of smaller one, serrate on posterior margin, smaller one with serrate margin on anterior margin. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. tecticochlea Terada, 2016 superficially, but it can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the cucullus of the valva obtusely rounded at apex, and in the female genitalia by the signum 1/5 the length of the maximum width of the corpus bursae. In S. tecticochlea, the cucullus of the valva is truncate at apex, and the length of the signum is more than half the maximum width of the corpus bursae. Description. Adult (Fig. 2). Wingspan 8.5–9.5 mm. Head with frons and vertex silvery grey, with metallic lustre; occiput grey medially, purplish black laterally. Labial palpus with second segment silvery white on inner surface, pale yellow on outer surface; third segment deep silvery grey on inner surface, black on outer surface. Antenna purplish black, with metallic lustre; flagellum silvery white in distal 1/6 dorsally. Thorax greyish brown, with longitudinal ochreous yellow streak posterolaterally; tegula greyish brown. Forewing silvery grey, purplish black at base and in distal 1/4, with metallic lustre; costal margin with an inverted trapezoidal ochreous spot from between basal 1/6 and 2/5 reaching posterior 1/3 from ventral margin, its inner margin straight and edged with purplish black scales, outer margin roundly concave inward; elliptical purplish black spot from between basal 2/5 and middle of costal margin reaching middle of cell posteriorly; longitudinal ochreous streak in distal 2/5 of cell, edged with purplish black line on anterior and posterior margins respectively; fold with an ochreous streak along distal 1/4, edged with purplish black; fringe dark grey. Hindwing brown; fringe pale greyish brown. The new species can be distinguished by the forewing with a dark brown basal patch and a wide brown streak running from basal 1/4 of cell to preapex. It is similar to S. tristriata sp. nov. and S. pyriformis sp. nov. internally, but can be distinguished from them in the male genitalia by the gnathos hooked apically and the aedeagus without cornutus; in the female genitalia by the narrowly bow-shaped signum. In S. tristriata and S. pyriformis, the gnathos is broadly rounded apically and the aedeagus has a cornutus; the signum is sub-triangular in S. tristriata, while it is sub-rhombic in S. pyriformis. YD Ren, slide No. GW 13009. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. orbiculata Meyrick, 1913 in the forewing having three spots on the ventral margin. It can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the costa roundly convex, the sacculus approximately 2/3 the length of the valva, and the rhombic juxta; in the female genitalia by the ductus bursae without a sclerotized sub-rectangular plate anteriorly and the corpus bursae with one signum. In S. orbiculata, the costa is trapezoidally convex, the sacculus is approximately half the length of the valva, and the juxta is semi-elliptical; the ductus bursae has a sclerotized sub-rectangular plate anteriorly and the corpus bursae has two signa. The new species is also similar to S. bucera sp. nov., and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 9). Wingspan 10.0– 10.5 mm. The new species can be distinguished by the forewing with a dark brown basal patch and a wide brown streak running from basal 1/4 of cell to preapex. It is similar to S. tristriata sp. nov. and S. pyriformis sp. nov. internally, but can be distinguished from them in the male genitalia by the gnathos hooked apically and the aedeagus without cornutus; in the female genitalia by the narrowly bow-shaped signum. The genus Stathmopoda is similar to Hieromantis Meyrick, 1897 in the second and third segments of the labial palpus approximately equal in length, and the antenna with flagellum having long ciliae in male. Stathmopoda can be distinguished by the antenna with scape elongate clubbed, and the forewing without large spots formed by tufted erect scales. In Hieromantis, the scape of the antenna is widened, and the forewing has large spots formed by tufted erect scales with metallic luster. Remarks. Moths of the 13 species treated here share a combination of the following characters: the forewing usually has a large spot at both middle and end of cell respectively, sometimes it has longitudinal streaks or stripes at middle of cell; the hind tibia bears long bristles at basal 1/3, 2/3 and at apex respectively, and the tarsus bears bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres. It can be distinguished by having a deep yellow thorax; in the male genitalia by the sacculus with a preapical spine extending outward, and the cornutus consisting of eight differently sized spines; in the female genitalia by the ductus bursae without expanded part posterolaterally. In S. tetracantha, the thorax is greyish brown; the sacculus has a preapical spine that extends inward, and the cornutus consists of four long spines; the ductus bursae has expanded part posterolaterally. Description. Adult (Fig. 7). Wingspan 9.0–11.0 mm. Head with frons white, vertex silvery grey, occiput deep yellow. Labial palpus greyish white on inner surface, brown on outer surface, third segment darker. Antenna with scape yellowish brown, flagellum grey, annulated with brown. Thorax deep yellow, with an ochreous spot anterolaterally, brown posteriorly; tegula deep yellow. Forewing pale yellow in basal 1/3, yellowish brown between basal 1/3 and 2/3, dark brown in distal 1/3; costal margin with a slender dark brown streak in basal 1/3, with a dark brown streak from between basal 1/3 and 3/5 crossing anterior margin of cell; cell with a dark brown streak from middle to distal 1/3 along midline; ventral margin with an elliptical dark brown spot extending from basal 1/3 to end of fold; fringe brown, dark brown around apex. Hindwing dark brown, fringe brown. Aedeagus approximately 1.2 times length of valva, almost uniformly wide in basal 2/5, thereafter tapered from basal 2/5 to apex, with a sclerite near base; cornutus consisting of eight differently sized spines ranging from basal 2/5 to 4/5. Corpus bursae elongate elliptical; signum small, approximately 1/5 of the median width of the corpus bursae, located anteriorly, microspines present around signum. Ductus seminalis from middle of corpus bursae, elongate tubular, wide basally, narrowed distally. Distribution. China (Yunnan). Etymology. This specific epithet is derived from the Latin octacanthus, referring to the number of cornuti.

This species is diagnostic by having a narrow triangular gnathos, a sub-quadrate cucullus and an aedeagus with two narrowly sclerotized bars in the male genitalia; and a small sub-quadrate antrum and a slenderly arched signum in the female genitalia. It is similar to S. basirotata sp. nov., and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Figs 14 a–b). Wingspan 9.0– 9.5 mm. Head with frons ochreous grey, vertex silvery grey, with metallic lustre, occiput silvery grey medially, purplish black laterally. Labial palpus with second segment silvery white on inner surface, pale yellow on outer surface; third segment silvery grey on inner surface, dark brown on outer surface. Antenna purplish black, with metallic lustre; flagellum silvery white in distal 1/6 dorsally. Thorax silvery grey, with a longitudinal ochreous yellow streak posterolaterally; tegula greyish brown. Forewing with ground colour silvery grey in basal 2/3, dark brown in distal 1/3, with purplish pink scales, with metallic lustre; costal margin with black spot at base and middle respectively, with a fine ochreous yellow streak from beyond middle to distal 1/3; large ochreous U-shaped marking from basal 1/6 to 2/5, its upper arm along costal margin, uniformly wide, its lower arm narrowed from above ventral margin to posterior margin of cell; wide ochreous yellow streak from outer margin of large marking straight to distal 1/3, edged with black scales in basal half on lower margin; ochreous yellow streak from end of fold to distal 1/3 of ventral margin, diffused to preceding streak basally or medially; fringe dark brown. The new species is similar to S. orbiculata Meyrick, 1913 and S. rhombica sp. nov. in the forewing having three white spots on the ventral margin. It can be distinguished from S. orbiculata by the elongate triangular uncus, the gnathos without a tooth apically, and the aedeagus without a cornutus in the male genitalia; the ductus bursae without a sclerotized sub-rectangular plate anteriorly and the corpus bursae with one signum in the female genitalia. In S. orbiculata, the uncus is trapezoidal, the gnathos has tooth apically, and the aedeagus has a cornutus; the ductus bursae has a sclerotized sub-rectangular plate anteriorly and the corpus bursae has two signa. It can be distinguished from S. rhombica by the horn-shaped cucullus gradually narrowed to apex, and the costa trapezoidally convex in the male genitalia; the quadrate antrum and the corpus bursae with a crescent signum in the female genitalia. In S. rhombica, the cucullus is subparallel to preapex, and the costa is roundly convex; the antrum is subrectangular and the corpus bursae has a C-shaped signum. Description. Adult (Fig. 4). This specific epithet is derived from the Latin bucerus, referring to the horn-shaped cucullus. Notes. Stathmopoda bucera sp. nov. is similar to Stathmopoda sp. 4 in Terada (2016) in the forewing pattern. It can be distinguished by the corpus bursae without spicules and the ductus seminalis originating from anterior 1/4 of the ductus bursae. Adult (Fig. 13). Wingspan 13.5–15.0 mm. Head with frons and vertex silvery white, vertex tinged with ochreous yellow; occiput ochreous to dark ochreous. Labial palpus with second segment cream white on inner surface, pale yellowish brown on outer surface; third segment ochreous yellow. Antenna ochreous yellow, scape silvery white on anterior margin, flagellum annulated with blackish brown. Collar shining white, tinged with ochreous yellow; thorax shining white in basal half, blackish brown in distal half mixed with shining yellowish brown; tegula shining white in basal half, greyish brown in distal half mixed with black. In S. tecticochlea, the cucullus of the valva is truncate at apex, and the length of the signum is more than half the maximum width of the corpus bursae. Description. Adult (Fig. 2). Aedeagus roundly dilated in basal 1/3, narrowly cylindrical in distal 2/3, with three narrowly sclerotized bars: two running from middle of rounded part to basal 2/3 and to apex respectively, third sclerotized bar very long, curved near base, extending ventrad from middle of rounded basal part, coiled twice around basal part, then sinuate to apex, apex hooked ventrad. Corpus bursae oval; signum with a sclerotized ridge at middle, serrate on posterior margin, length approximately 1/5 of maximum width of corpus bursae. Ductus seminalis originating from region of transition between ductus bursae and corpus bursae, tubular basally, gradually narrowed distally; bulla roundly inflated, at middle of ductus seminalis. It is similar to S. citrinella Sinev, 1995, but can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the cucullus obtusely rounded at apex, and the elongate elliptical anellar lobes; and in the female genitalia by the sub-rectangular antrum and the ductus seminalis with a row of clustered short spines distally. In S. citrinella, the cucullus is truncate at apex, and the anellar lobes are elongately clubbed; the antrum is bowl-shaped and the ductus seminalis has several denticles at apex. Description. Forewing brownish ochreous, dark ochreous between fold and ventral margin in basal 1/4; yellowish white fascia from distal 1/5 of costal margin extending obliquely inward to distal 1/3 of ventral margin, mixed with ochreous; ventral margin with a yellowish white spot at basal 1/3, narrowed obliquely inward to base of fold; fringe brown. Hindwing dark grey, fringe brown. Valva sub-rectangular; cucullus sub-quadrate, straight on dorsal margin, obtuse on ventral margin, obtusely rounded at apex; inner process narrowed and curved distally; costa convex roundly; sacculus narrowly banded, concave at basal 2/5 of ventral margin, apex rounded and free from cucullus, reaching before apex of valva. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus approximately 1/5 length of uncus. Juxta turbinate, pointed anteromedially, straight on posterior margin; anellar lobes elongate elliptical, with dense setae. Aedeagus 1.3 times length of valva, tapered from base to apex, with a sclerotized plate near base, with numerous spicules ranging from basal 1/4 to distal 3/10; distal process 1/3 length of aedeagus, relatively wide, narrowed from preapex to pointed apex. Female genitalia (Fig. 32). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately twice length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.8 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite sub-rectangular; eighth stenite produced anteriorly. Antrum sub-rectangular, obtusely rounded on anterior margin. Corpus bursae elongate elliptical; with two differently sized signa, each with a sclerotized ridge, larger one approximately four times length of smaller one, serrate on posterior margin, smaller one with serrate margin on anterior margin. Ductus seminalis originating from anterior part of ductus bursae, with several denticles basally, with a row of clustered short spines distally (Fig. 32a). Distribution. China (Yunnan). Etymology. It is similar to S. octacantha sp. nov., and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 10). Wingspan 7.5–9.0 mm. It can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the costa roundly convex, the sacculus approximately 2/3 the length of the valva, and the rhombic juxta; in the female genitalia by the ductus bursae without a sclerotized sub-rectangular plate anteriorly and the corpus bursae with one signum. In S. orbiculata, the costa is trapezoidally convex, the sacculus is approximately half the length of the valva, and the juxta is semi-elliptical; the ductus bursae has a sclerotized sub-rectangular plate anteriorly and the corpus bursae has two signa. The new species is also similar to S. bucera sp. nov., and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 9). Wingspan 10.0– 10.5 mm. The new species is similar to S. tristriata sp. nov. in having a brownish ochreous forewing. It can be distinguished by the forewing with two faint pale ochreous spots on the ventral margin; in the male genitalia by the triangularly produced costa, and the sacculus straight on the ventral margin; in the female genitalia by the subrectangular antrum, and the pear-shaped corpus bursae with a sub-rhombic signum. In S. tristriata, the forewing has three ochreous yellow hook-shaped stripes on the ventral margin; the costa is roundly produced, and the sacculus is concave at basal 1/3 on the ventral margin; the antrum is sub-quadrate and the elongate elliptical corpus bursae has a sub-triangular signum in the female genitalia. It is also similar to S. hamulata sp. nov. internally, and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 8). Wingspan 10.5–12.5 mm. Head with frons silvery white, vertex silvery white mixed with pale ochreous, occiput ochreous. Labial palpus with second segment cream white on inner surface, pale yellowish brown on outer surface; third segment brown. Antenna with scape pale ochreous, tinged with brown scales, silvery white on anterior margin; flagellum brown alternated with white. Thorax and tegula ochreous. Forewing brownish ochreous; costal margin with a faint pale ochreous streak from basal 2/3 extending obliquely inward to posterior margin of cell, indistinct in some individuals; ventral margin with faint pale ochreous spot at basal 1/4 and distal 1/4 respectively, the former reaching fold anteriorly; fringe brown. Hindwing dark grey, fringe greyish brown. Legs ochreous yellow dorsally, yellowish white ventrally: foreleg black on outer side; mid tibia with blackish brown spot at base, middle and apex respectively, with long ochreous yellow bristles at middle and apex, tarsus black at apex; hind tibia with long blackish brown bristles at basal 1/3, 2/3 and apex respectively, mixed with ochreous brown, tarsus ringed with long blackish brown bristles at apex of first tarsomere, mixed with ochreous brown, blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere. Abdomen greyish brown on dorsal surface, white on ventral surface. Male genitalia (Fig. 21). Uncus sub-triangular, wide at base, narrowed to apex, beak-shaped in lateral view, with long setae laterally. Gnathos wide at base, slightly narrowed to apex; apex rounded, with a small tooth medially. Tegumen with height approximately twice length of uncus. Valva wide basally, narrowly toward cucullus; cucullus narrowly elongate, length approximately 2.5 times of maximum width, extending obliquely upward, slightly narrowed to rounded apex, straight on dorsal margin, obtuse on ventral margin; inner process hooked; costa produced triangularly; sacculus approximately 3/5 length of valva, straight on ventral margin, apex obtuse, free from cucullus. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus U-shaped, approximately 1/6 length of uncus. Juxta ovate; anellar lobes elongate conical, twice length of juxta. Aedeagus same length as valva, slightly tapered from base to apex; distal process slender, 1/3 length of aedeagus; cornutus consisting of a tuft of differently sized spines ranging from near base to before distal 1/3. Female genitalia (Fig. 34). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately 2.5 times length of papillae anales.Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.7 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth stenite with anterior margin produced obtusely. Antrum sub-rectangular, concave on anterior and posterior margins. Ductus bursae almost uniformly wide. Corpus bursae pear-shaped; signum sub-rhombic, with a long sclerotized ridge medially. Ductus seminalis originating from posterior part of corpus bursae, dilated basally, with two rows of clustered spines different in size in transition between ductus bursae and ductus seminalis (Fig. 34a). Distribution. China (Yunnan). Etymology. This specific epithet is derived from the Latin pyriformis, referring to the shape of the corpus bursae.

The new species differs from other species of the genus in the forewing with a purplish black streak in the distal half along midline; in the male genitalia by the sub-quadrate juxta shallowly concave in U-shape posteromedially; in the female genitalia by the C-shaped signum, and the ductus seminalis inflated elliptically at middle. It is similar to S. stimulata Meyrick, 1913, but can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the straight apex of the uncus, the ovate cucullus convex before middle on the dorsal margin and the cornutus of the aedeagus with six spines; and in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with one signum. In S. stimulata, the uncus is pointed at apex, the cucullus is strongly produced at base dorsally and the cornutus of the aedeagus consists of 3–5 spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has two signa in the female genitalia (Kasy 1973, P. 286, Figs 84, 86). It is also similar to S. falsistimulata sp. nov., and the differences between the two species are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 12). Wingspan 13.0–18.0 mm. Head with frons white, vertex and occiput greyish brown. Labial palpus with second segment greyish white on inner side, pale yellow on outer side, with fine dark brown line on outer side, third segment pale brown. Antenna with scape dark brown, greyish white on anterior margin; flagellum yellowish brown. Collar milky, shining purplish brown on posterior margin; thorax yellowish white, tinged with brown, with scattered black scales on anterior half; tegula pale brown. Forewing yellowish white, with longitudinal blackish brown streak along costal margin; purplish black stripe from basal 1/8 of anterior margin of cell extending outward to basal 1/4 of costal margin; ventral margin with a sub-rounded pale ochreous brown spot from between basal 1/10 and 1/5 extending to fold, with a triangular ochreous brown spot from between basal 1/5 and 1/2 reaching basal 1/3 of anterior margin of cell, purplish black above fold and forming a dark spot; purplish black stripe in distal half along midline, straight anteriorly, triangularly produced ventrobasally, inner margin oblique; fringe brown. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Tegumen bifurcate from anterior 1/3; lateral arm almost uniform, with a papillary process near base on its inner margin respectively. Valva narrow before cucullus; cucullus ovate, length approximately 1.5 times of maximum width, dorsal margin roundly produced before middle, ventral margin obtuse, apex rounded; inner process slender, curved; costa sub-rounded; sacculus wide, approximately half length of valva, with sparse setae dorsally, narrowly rounded apically. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus semicircular, approximately 1/4 length of uncus. Juxta sub-quadrate, shallowly concave in U-shape at middle on posterior margin, obtusely rounded on anterior margin; anellar lobes elongate conical, approximately twice length of juxta. Aedeagus approximately 2/3 length of valva, tapered from base to apex, with a sclerite near base; cornutus consisting of six spines joined at base, located at middle (Fig. 25a). Female genitalia (Fig. 37). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately 3 times length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.8 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite sub-rectangular; eighth stenite with anterior margin produced triangularly.Antrum sub-quadrate, produced anteromedially, slightly concave on posterior margin. Ductus bursae approximately 3/4 length of corpus bursae, basal 2/3 almost uniform, distal 1/3 gradually widened, with a group of denticles anteriorly. Corpus bursae oval; signum C-shaped, open posteriorly, located near entrance of corpus bursae (Fig. 37a). Ductus seminalis arising from region of transition between ductus bursae and corpus bursae, elliptically inflated at middle. Distribution. China (Guangxi, Hainan). Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin purpuratus, referring to the purplish black markings of the forewing.

Stathmopoda cornuta sp. nov. (Figs 5, 18, 31) Type material. CHINA, Yunnan: Holotype ♂, Nanlahe (21°36′N, 101°35′E), Bubang Town, Mengla County, 652 m, 12–15.VII.2013, leg. SR Liu et al., slide No. GW 13100. Paratypes: 1♂ 2♀, other same data as holotype, slide No. GW 13101; 1♀, Taiyanghe, Pu’ er, 1600 m, 11.VII.2013, leg. ZG Zhang, slide No. GW 13102. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. stimulata Meyrick, 1913. It can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the cucullus obtusely angled at basal 1/4 on the dorsal margin, and the cornutus consisting of seven spines; in the female genitalia by the transition between the ductus bursae and the corpus bursae with two rows of denticles and the corpus bursae with two large signa more than half median width of the corpus bursae. In S. stimulata, the cucullus is right-angled at base and the cornutus consisting of 3–5 spines in the male genitalia; and the transition between the ductus bursae and the corpus bursae lacks denticles and the corpus bursae has two small signa less than 1/4 of the median width of the corpus bursae in the female genitalia. Description. Adult (Fig. 5). Wingspan 15.0–19.0 mm. Head with frons and vertex silvery white, occiput pale yellowish brown. Labial palpus with second segment milky on inner side, outer side pale yellowish brown, with fine dark brown line basally; third segment pale yellowish brown. Antenna pale yellowish brown, scape brown dorsally. Collar purplish brown medially, ochreous yellow laterally; thorax and tegula yellowish brown, with scattered blackish brown scales. Forewing yellowish brown, with scattered ochreous scales, with a few brown scales at distal 1/6; blackish brown scales at base from below costal margin to above fold as well as between fold and ventral margin respectively, forming large ill-defined spots; blackish brown streak along basal 2/3 of costal margin, wide at base, gradually narrowed to basal 2/3; cell with a faint elliptical dark brown spot at middle, an elongate elliptical ochreous brown spot on outer margin, both diffused toward ventral margin, edged with ochreous scales, indistinct in some individuals; ventral margin with a blackish brown spot from basal 1/5 extending to fold; fringe pale yellowish brown, blackish brown around apex. Hindwing greyish brown, fringe pale greyish brown. Foreleg yellowish white, femur and tibia purplish brown on outer side, tibia with ochreous yellow bristles at middle and apex, tarsus blackish brown at apex; midleg milky, tibia purplish brown in basal 1/3 on dorsal surface, with long milky bristles at basal 1/3 and apex, tarsus blackish brown at apex; hindleg yellowish brown, tibia with scattered brown scales, with long blackish brown bristles at basal 1/3 and 2/3, mixed with yellowish white, ringed with long ochreous yellow bristles distally, tarsus blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere, ringed with long ochreous yellow bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres. The new species is characterized by the forewing having an elliptical ochreous brown spot at basal 2/5 and on outer margin of cell respectively. It is similar to S. purpurata sp. nov. and S. stimulata Meyrick, 1913, but can be distinguished from them in the male genitalia by the sub-triangular cucullus straight on the ventral margin and the cornutus consisting of 12–16 denticles; and in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with one elongate elliptical signum. In S. purpurata sp. nov., the ovate cucullus is obtuse on the ventral margin and the cornutus consists of six spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has one C-shaped signum in the female genitalia; in S. stimulata, the sub-elliptical cucullus is obtuse on the ventral margin and the cornutus consists of 3–5 spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has two signa in the female genitalia (Kasy 1973, P. 286, Figs 84, 86). Description. Adult (Fig. 8). Wingspan 19.0– 19.5 mm. Head with frons and vertex white, occiput brown tinged with purplish brown. Labial palpus with second segment white, blackish brown at base on outer side; third segment brown. Antenna with scape brown; flagellum yellowish brown. Thorax and tegula yellowish white, with scattered blackish brown scales. Forewing yellowish white; costal margin with a blackish brown streak from base narrowed to basal 1/4, then slenderly extending to apex; large inverted triangular blackish brown spot between base and basal 1/4 extending from below fold to above ventral margin; broad blackish brown stripe from ventral margin beyond basal spot extending obliquely upward to basal 1/3 of fold, then slenderly extending along distal 2/3 of fold; cell with an elliptical ochreous brown spot at basal 2/5 and on outer margin respectively; longitudinal straight ochreous brown streak from outer margin of spot at basal 2/5 of cell along anterior margin of spot on outer margin of cell extending to preapex, widened in some individuals; fringe brown. Hindwing and fringe brown. Legs yellowish white; foreleg with femur and tibia blackish brown on outer side, tarsus black at apices of first and fifth tarsomeres; mid tibia blackish brown in basal half on dorsal surface, with long yellowish white bristles at middle and apex; hind tibia with long ochreous brown bristles at basal 1/3, 2/3 and apex respectively, tarsus annulated with blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere, with ochreous brown bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres. Abdomen yellowish brown. Male genitalia (Fig. 21). Uncus wide at base, gradually narrowed to apex, with long setae laterally; apex straight, approximately 1/3 width of base. Gnathos wide at base, narrowed to apex. Tegumen with lateral arm slightly narrowed anteriorly. Valva elongately knife-shaped, almost uniformly narrow from base to cucullus; cucullus subtriangular, length approximately 2 times of maximum width, strongly produced before middle on dorsal margin, forming a large obtuse angle, thereafter obliquely obtuse from before middle to apex; ventral margin straight, apex rounded; inner process slender, curved; costa sub-rectangular; sacculus approximately 1/3 length of valva, reaching base of cucullus, apex pointed, not free from cucullus. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus inverted triangular, approximately 1/4 length of uncus. Juxta widely V-shaped, obtusely rounded anteriorly; anellar lobes elongate elliptical, with short setae, approximately twice length of juxta. Aedeagus tapered from base to apex, approximately 2/3 length of valva, with a small plate near base, distal 1/5 produced to a thin club ventrally; cornutus consisting of 12–16 denticles joined basally, located at basal 1/3. Female genitalia (Fig. 33). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately twice length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite rectangular; eighth stenite with anterior margin produced. Antrum sub-rectangular, sclerotized on anterior margin, slightly produced anteromedially, slightly concave posteromedially. Ductus bursae almost uniform, approximately 3/4 length of corpus bursae. Corpus bursae oval; signum elongate elliptical, with a sclerotized ridge, serrate on posterior margin (Fig. 33a). Ductus seminalis arising from posterior 1/3 of corpus bursae, broadly tubular, approximately twice length of corpus bursae, curved at about middle, then extending upward, with dense granules near apex; two rows of denticles at transition between corpus bursae and ductus seminalis. Distribution. China (Fujian, Guangxi). Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin falsi- and the specific name of another species stimulata, referring to the similarities of the two species.

Stathmopoda atrifusca sp. nov. (Figs 3, 16, 29) Type material. CHINA, Yunnan: Holotype ♂, Taiyanghe, Pu’er, 1450 m, 19.V.2014, leg. ZG Zhang, slide No. GW 14186. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the forewing blackish brown from basal 3/10 to 4/5, ochreous yellow in distal 1/5; in the male genitalia by the valva with a slender inner process curved inward near base by a right angle and the aedeagus with a large rectangular plate near base; in the female genitalia by the broadly tubular ductus seminalis approximately the same length as the corpus bursae. Description. Adult (Fig. 3). Wingspan 10.5–12.5 mm. Head silvery white, occiput tinged with black scales. Labial palpus with second segment greyish white on inner side, yellowish white on outer side, with a fine blackish brown line in basal half on outer side; third segment blackish brown. Antenna with scape blackish brown, flagellum yellowish brown. Thorax and tegula greyish brown, with scattered blackish brown scales. Forewing greyish white in basal 3/10, blackish brown from basal 3/10 to 4/5, distal 1/5 ochreous yellow; ventral margin with an elliptical blackish brown spot at distal 1/5, approximately 3/4 width of wing; fringe dark brown, black around apex. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Foreleg yellowish brown, tarsus black at apex; midleg greyish white ventrally, tibia white dorsally, black at apex, with white bristles at middle and apex, tarsus blackish brown dorsally; hind femur and tibia white, tibia with white bristles at basal 1/3, 2/3 and apex dorsally respectively, black at apex, tarsus dark ochreous yellow, annulated with black at apex of each tarsomere, with black bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres. Abdomen greyish brown on dorsal surface, greyish white on ventral surface. Male genitalia (Fig. 16). Uncus sub-trapezoidal, gradually narrowed from base to apex, with long setae laterally; apex approximately 1/3 width of base. Gnathos lingulate, distal 1/3 scobinate. Tegumen bifurcate from middle, lateral arm slightly narrowed anteriorly. Valva basally narrow, subparallel to cucullus; cucullus elliptical, length approximately 1.6 times of maximum width; inner process slender, curved inward near base by a right angle; costa elliptical; sacculus broadly banded, approximately half length of valva, gradually narrowed from distal 1/4 to apex, reaching basal 1/5 of cucullus, apex pointed, not free from cucullus. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus V-shaped, approximately 1/4 length of uncus. Juxta U-shaped, anterior margin broadly rounded; anellar lobes elongate elliptical, approximately 1.5 times length of juxta, with sparse setae. Aedeagus tapered from base to apex, approximately 4/5 length of valva, with a large rectangular plate near base and numerous microspines at distal 1/3, distal 1/4 produced to a thin club ventrally; cornutus consisting of several large denticles connected at base, located beyond middle (Fig. 16a). Female genitalia (Fig. 29). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately same length as papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin; eighth tergite rectangular; eighth stenite with anterior margin produced semicircularly. Antrum bowl-shaped, slightly concave on posterior margin. Ductus bursae approximately same length as corpus bursae, basal 2/3 almost uniform, distal 1/3 gradually widened. Corpus bursae sub-oval; two signa differently sized, each with a sclerotized ridge on anterior margin, larger one with length more than half maximum width of corpus bursae, approximately 1.5 times length of smaller one (Fig. 29a); numerous large denticles at transition between ductus bursae and corpus bursae. Ductus seminalis arising from region of transition between corpus bursae and ductus bursae, broadly tubular, approximately same length as corpus bursae, with dense small granules near apex. Distribution. China (Yunnan). Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin atri- and fuscus, referring to the forewing blackish brown from basal 3/10 to 4/5.

It can be distinguished by the cell with a longitudinal streak extending straightly to preapex; in the male genitalia by the uncus rounded at apex, the sub-elliptical cucullus roundly produced at middle on the dorsal margin and the aedeagus with a cornutus; in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with two signa, and the ductus seminalis approximately twice the length of the corpus bursae. In S. serrifasciaria sp. nov., the cell has a longitudinal streak from basal 2/5 reaching the outer margin of the cell; the uncus is straight at apex, the sub-triangular cucullus is produced at basal 1/3 on the dorsal margin and the aedeagus lacks a cornutus in the male genitalia; the corpus bursae has one signum, and the ductus seminalis is approximately 2/3 the length of the corpus bursae in the female genitalia. Forewing yellowish white, with scattered brown scales basally, dark brown along basal 2/3 of costal margin; longitudinal dark brown streak from basal 2/5 of cell extending straightly to preapex, widened ventrad basally, with a greyish brown spot from below its distal 1/3 extending to above ventral margin; dark brown fascia running from basal 1/3 to preapex of fold; ventral margin with a blackish brown spot at base; fringe dark brown. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Stathmopoda guangxiensis sp. nov. (Figs 9, 22, 34) Type material. CHINA, Guangxi: Holotype ♂, Mt. Dayao (24.15°N, 110.21°E), Jinxiu, 1364 m, 19.VII.2015, leg. MJ Qi & SN Zhao, slide No. GW15157. The new species is similar to S. neohexatyla Li et Wang, 2002 in the forewing pattern. It can be distinguished by the ochreous yellow forewing with blackish brown markings; in the male genitalia by the cucullus convex before middle on the dorsal margin, obtuse on the ventral margin, and the cornutus consisting of five denticles; in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with a C-shaped signum. In S. neohexatyla, the pale yellow forewing has brown markings; the cucullus is smoothly obtuse on the dorsal margin, straight on the ventral margin, and the cornutus consisting of seven spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has a large crescent-shaped signum in the female genitalia (Li & Wang 2002, P. 332, Figs 3–4). Description. Adult (Fig. 9). Wingspan 16.0–18.0 mm. Head with frons silvery white, vertex pale yellowish brown, occiput yellowish brown mixed with blackish brown. Stathmopoda dolichantha sp. nov. (Figs 7, 20) Type material. CHINA, Guangxi: Holotype ♂, Shaoping Farm, Pingxiang, 280 m, 28.V.2012, leg. XF Yang, slide No. GW 12245. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. spinicornuta sp. nov., but it can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the cucullus smoothly obtuse on the dorsal margin, the V-shaped juxta extending outward posterolaterally, and the cornutus consisting of five long spines joined at base. In S. spinicornuta sp. nov., the cucullus is obtusely convex at distal 1/3 on the dorsal margin, the juxta is semi-rounded, and the cornutus consists of three strong spines in the male genitalia. Description. Adult (Fig. 7). Wingspan 10.5 mm. Head with frons and vertex milky, tinged with pale yellowish brown, occiput with blackish brown scales laterally. Labial palpus milky; second segment with fine dark brown line in basal half on outer side; third segment pale brown on outer side. Forewing yellowish white, tinged with pale yellowish brown scales, with slender blackish brown streak along costal margin; longitudinal dark brown streak from middle of cell extending to apex, widened from posterior angle of cell to above ventral margin; dark brown streak extending from basal 1/4 of ventral margin obliquely outward to basal 2/5 of fold, then to basal 4/5 of fold; fringe dark brown. Hindwing and fringe brown. Stathmopoda liberata sp. nov. (Figs 11, 24, 36) Type material. CHINA, Guizhou: Holotype ♂, Kuankuoshui, Suiyang County, 15.VIII.2010, leg. LL Yang, slide No. GW 12221. Paratype: 1♀, Qianjiangyuan, Mt. Tiamu, Zhejiang, 866 m, 13.VIII.2014, leg. AH Yin et al., slide No. GW 14168. Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from other species by the forewing with slender ochreous brown streaks along anterior and posterior margins of cell; in the male genitalia by the sacculus with two tooth-like apical lobes; in the female genitalia by the region of the transition between the corpus bursae and the ductus bursae with two rows of sparse denticles arranged in V-shape, and the ductus seminalis arising from the right side of the corpus bursae medially. Labial palpus yellowish white, second segment with slender brown line on outer side; third segment with slender brown line on ventral surface. Antenna with scape pale brown, brown on posterior margin; flagellum yellowish white. Collar ochreous brown; thorax and tegula pale brown, with scattered dark brown scales. Forewing pale brown, with irregular blackish brown patch at base; costal margin with a dark brown streak, gradually narrowed and paler from base to apex; fold blackish brown, forming a dark line; ventral margin with a blackish brown stripe from basal 1/8 extending obliquely outward to basal 2/5 of fold; cell with slender ochreous brown streaks along anterior and posterior margins, joined and forming a large ochreous brown spot at outer margin of cell; slender ochreous brown streak from outer margin of preceding spot extending straightly to before apex; fringe brown. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Legs dominantly yellowish white; except foreleg with femur and tibia blackish brown on outer side, tibia with yellowish white bristles at middle and apex, tarsus blackish brown at apices of first and fifth tarsomeres; mid tibia blackish brown in basal half on dorsal surface, bearing long blackish brown hairs at middle, with white bristles at apex, tarsus blackish brown at apex; hind tibia ringed with long blackish brown bristles at basal 1/3, 2/3 and apex respectively, with long blackish brown hairs on ventral surface, tarsus annulated with blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere, ringed with blackish brown bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres, mixed with ochreous brown. Abdomen dark brown on dorsal surface, ochreous grey on ventral surface. Male genitalia (Fig. 24). Uncus wide at base, gradually narrowed to apex, with long setae laterally. Gnathos wide near base, gradually narrowed to apex. Tegumen bifurcate from middle; lateral arm almost uniform, with a process at basal 1/3 on inner margin. Valva subequally narrow from base to before cucullus; cucullus sub-elliptical, length approximately 1.8 times of maximum width, strongly convex at basal 1/3 on dorsal margin, obliquely obtuse from basal 1/3 to apex, obtuse on ventral margin; inner process spine-shaped; costa slightly produced; sacculus widely banded, more sclerotized on ventral margin, bilobed apically: dorsal lobe small, tooth-like, ventral lobe triangular, pointed at apex, free from cucullus. Saccus short triangular, approximately 1/4 length of uncus. Juxta V-shaped, deeply concave posteromedially; anellar lobes elongate oval (in aedeagus). Aedeagus approximately 2/3 length of valva, basal 2/3 almost uniformly wide, distal 1/3 tapered to apex, with sclerotized plate at base, with a group of differently sized denticles, fused with large denticles, ranging from basal 1/4 to 3/4 ventrally; cornutus consisting of five large denticles joined at base, located at basal 1/3 dorsally (Fig. 24a). Female genitalia (Fig. 36). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately 2.7 times length of papillae anales.Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite concave in V-shape anteromedially; eighth stenite sub-rectangular, broadly rounded on anterior margin. Antrum sub-rectangular, anterior margin heavily sclerotized, with a triangular process anteromedially. Ductus bursae approximately 3/4 length of corpus bursae, basal half almost uniform, distal half gradually widened. Corpus bursae oval; signum sub-elliptical, length approximately 2/5 width of corpus bursae, placed posteriorly (Fig. 36a); two rows of large denticles at transition between ductus bursae and corpus bursae, arranged in V-shape. Ductus seminalis arising from right side of corpus bursae medially, approximately 2/3 length of corpus bursae, broadly tubular, with dense granules distally. Distribution. China (Guizhou, Zhejiang). Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin liberatus, referring to the sacculus free from the cucullus distally.

Stathmopoda falsistimulata sp. nov. (Figs 8, 21, 33) Type material. CHINA, Guangxi: Holotype ♂, Yangmeiao, Huanjiang County, Hechi, 1180 m, 26.VII.2015, leg. MQ Yang & JE Li, slide No. GW 15154. The new species is characterized by the forewing having an elliptical ochreous brown spot at basal 2/5 and on outer margin of cell respectively. It is similar to S. purpurata sp. nov. and S. stimulata Meyrick, 1913, but can be distinguished from them in the male genitalia by the sub-triangular cucullus straight on the ventral margin and the cornutus consisting of 12–16 denticles; and in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with one elongate elliptical signum. In S. purpurata sp. nov., the ovate cucullus is obtuse on the ventral margin and the cornutus consists of six spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has one C-shaped signum in the female genitalia; in S. stimulata, the sub-elliptical cucullus is obtuse on the ventral margin and the cornutus consists of 3–5 spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has two signa in the female genitalia (Kasy 1973, P. 286, Figs 84, 86). Description. Adult (Fig. 8). Wingspan 19.0– 19.5 mm. Head with frons and vertex white, occiput brown tinged with purplish brown. Labial palpus with second segment white, blackish brown at base on outer side; third segment brown. Antenna with scape brown; flagellum yellowish brown. Thorax and tegula yellowish white, with scattered blackish brown scales. Forewing yellowish white; costal margin with a blackish brown streak from base narrowed to basal 1/4, then slenderly extending to apex; large inverted triangular blackish brown spot between base and basal 1/4 extending from below fold to above ventral margin; broad blackish brown stripe from ventral margin beyond basal spot extending obliquely upward to basal 1/3 of fold, then slenderly extending along distal 2/3 of fold; cell with an elliptical ochreous brown spot at basal 2/5 and on outer margin respectively; longitudinal straight ochreous brown streak from outer margin of spot at basal 2/5 of cell along anterior margin of spot on outer margin of cell extending to preapex, widened in some individuals; fringe brown. Hindwing and fringe brown. Legs yellowish white; foreleg with femur and tibia blackish brown on outer side, tarsus black at apices of first and fifth tarsomeres; mid tibia blackish brown in basal half on dorsal surface, with long yellowish white bristles at middle and apex; hind tibia with long ochreous brown bristles at basal 1/3, 2/3 and apex respectively, tarsus annulated with blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere, with ochreous brown bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus inverted triangular, approximately 1/4 length of uncus. Juxta widely V-shaped, obtusely rounded anteriorly; anellar lobes elongate elliptical, with short setae, approximately twice length of juxta. Aedeagus tapered from base to apex, approximately 2/3 length of valva, with a small plate near base, distal 1/5 produced to a thin club ventrally; cornutus consisting of 12–16 denticles joined basally, located at basal 1/3. Female genitalia (Fig. 33). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately twice length of papillae anales. It can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the costa of the valva with a digitate process, the cucullus convex beyond dorsal 1/3, the semi-rounded juxta, and the cornutus consisting of six differently sized spines or denticles; in the female genitalia by the ductus bursae approximately 1.3 times length of the corpus bursae. In S. sericicola, the costa of the valva lacks a digitate process, the cucullus is convex near base, the juxta is sub-rectangular, and the cornutus consists of four spines in the male genitalia; and the ductus bursae is approximately same length as the corpus bursae in the female genitalia (Terada 2014, P. 114, Figs 38, 40, 42). The new species is similar to S. atridorsalis Terada, 2014 and S. centihasta Terada, 2014. It can be distinguished from S. atridorsalis in the male genitalia by the uncus beak-shaped distally in the lateral view and the broadly V-shaped juxta; in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with two small signa and the ductus seminalis triangularly inflated distally. In S. atridorsalis, the uncus is truncate at apex and the juxta is sub-rectangular in the male genitalia; the corpus bursae has two large signa and the ductus seminalis is not inflated distally in the female genitalia (Terada 2014, P. 110, Figs 29, 33). It can be distinguished from S. centihasta in the male genitalia by the cucullus convex at dorsal 1/3 and the broadly V-shaped juxta, and in the female genitalia by the ductus bursae with wrinkles in anterior 1/3; in S. centihasta, the cucullus is convex near base and the juxta is trapezoidal in the male genitalia, and the ductus bursae lacks wrinkles anteriorly in the female genitalia (Terada 2014, P. 117, Figs 43, 47). Description. Adult (Fig. 14). Wingspan 11.5–19.0 mm. Head with frons and vertex shining white, occiput yellowish white mixed with black. Labial palpus with second segment shining white on inner side, pale yellowish brown on outer side, with a fine dark brown line on outer side basally, third segment pale yellowish brown. Antenna pale yellowish brown; scape white on anterior margin, with scattered blackish brown scales distally. Thorax and tegula yellowish white, with scattered brown scales. Forewing yellowish white, with a yellowish brown spot at base between vein Sc and fold; costal margin blackish brown along basal 1/3; cell with a rounded brown spot at middle and an inverted triangular brown spot at outer margin respectively; ventral margin with blackish brown spot at base, with an ochreous yellow streak from basal 1/5 extending obliquely outward to middle of fold, then along fold to apex; distal 1/6 with a brown stripe along midline; fringe greyish brown, blackish brown around apex. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Saccus semicircular, approximately 1/4 length of uncus. The new species is similar to S. neohexatyla Li et Wang, 2002 in the forewing pattern. It can be distinguished by the ochreous yellow forewing with blackish brown markings; in the male genitalia by the cucullus convex before middle on the dorsal margin, obtuse on the ventral margin, and the cornutus consisting of five denticles; in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with a C-shaped signum. In S. neohexatyla, the pale yellow forewing has brown markings; the cucullus is smoothly obtuse on the dorsal margin, straight on the ventral margin, and the cornutus consisting of seven spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has a large crescent-shaped signum in the female genitalia (Li & Wang 2002, P. 332, Figs 3–4). Description. Adult (Fig. 9). Wingspan 16.0–18.0 mm. Head with frons silvery white, vertex pale yellowish brown, occiput yellowish brown mixed with blackish brown. Labial palpus white on inner side, second segment blackish brown in basal 1/4, ochreous yellow in distal 3/4 on outer side, third segment ochreous yellow on outer side. Antenna ochreous yellow; scape silvery white on anterior margin, yellowish brown on posterior margin. Tegumen bifurcate from anterior half; lateral arm slightly narrowed anteriorly, with a papillary process at basal 2/5 on inner margin respectively. Valva narrow basally, subparallel to cucullus; cucullus sub-oval, length approximately 1.5 times of maximum width, roundly convex before middle dorsally, obtuse ventrally, rounded at apex; inner process short and strong; costa sub-rectangular; sacculus uniformly wide, approximately 2/5 length of valva, reaching base of cucullus, apex not free from cucullus. Vinculum narrowly banded. Juxta with posterior margin shallowly concave medially, anterior margin narrowly rounded; anellar lobes conical, approximately 1.5 times length of juxta, with short setae. Aedeagus tapered to apex, approximately 3/4 length of valva, with a sclerotized plate near base; cornutus consisting of five large denticles joined at base, located at middle. Female genitalia (Fig. 34). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately 3.5 times length of papillae anales.Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite sub-rectangular; eighth stenite with anterior margin produced triangularly. Antrum sub-rectangular, strongly sclerotized anteriorly, slightly produced anteromedially, slightly concave on posterior margin. Ductus bursae approximately same length as corpus bursae, basal 3/5 almost uniform, distal 2/5 gradually widened. Corpus bursae oval; signum C-shaped, open posteriorly, serrate on posterior margin, located near entrance of corpus bursae (Fig. 34a); 28 denticles sparsely grouped at transition between ductus bursae and corpus bursae. Ductus seminalis arising from region of transition between ductus bursae and corpus bursae, broadly tubular, approximately twice length of corpus bursae, roundly inflated and curved at basal 1/3, then extending upward, with dense granules distally. Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi). Etymology. The specific epithet is from the type locality, Guangxi.

Stathmopoda spinicornuta sp. nov. (Figs 15, 28) Type material. CHINA, Yunnan: Holotype ♂, Bubang Town (21.60°N, 101.59°E), Xishuangbanna, 656 m, 22.VII.2014, leg. KJ Teng et al., slide No. GW 14194. Diagnosis. The new species is characterized in the male genitalia by the cucullus obtusely convex at distal 1/3, and the cornutus consisting of three strong spines. It is similar to S. dolichantha sp. nov. superficially, and the differences between the two species are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 15). Wingspan 11.5 mm. Head with frons and vertex yellowish brown, occiput brown. Labial palpus milky, second segment with a fine blackish brown line at base on outer side, third segment pale yellowish brown on outer side. Antenna with scape brown, tinged with blackish brown scales on posterior margin; flagellum yellowish brown. Thorax pale yellowish brown, with blackish brown spots laterally and apically; tegula pale yellowish brown except blackish brown at base. Forewing yellow, brown along costal margin; longitudinal wide dark brown streak from middle of cell extending to apex, widened from outer margin of cell to ventral margin; longitudinal slender dark brown streak extending along fold to ventral 3/4 where it joined with preceding streak; ventral margin with a large rounded dark brown spot at base, reaching fold anteriorly; fringe dark brown, blackish brown around apex. Hindwing greyish brown; fringe brown. Legs pale yellow dorsally, milky ventrally; foreleg with femur blackish brown on outer side, tibia with two blackish brown lines on outer side, tarsus blackish brown at apices of first and fifth tarsomeres; mid tibia with long pale yellowish brown hairs at middle and apex on dorsal surface, tarsus blackish brown at apex; hind tibia with long ochreous brown bristles at basal 1/3, 2/3 and apex on dorsal surface, first tarsomere of tarsus with a slender dark brown streak in basal half laterally, tarsus ringed with blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere, with ochreous brown bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres. Abdomen dark brown on dorsal surface, pale brown on ventral surface. Male genitalia (Fig. 28). Uncus wide at base, gradually narrowed to apex, with long setae laterally; apex straight, approximately 1/3 width of base. Gnathos wide at base, gradually narrowed to apex, scobinate in distal half. Juxta semi-rounded, straight on posterior margin, rounded on anterior margin; anellar lobes subelliptical, approximately twice length of juxta, with short setae. Aedeagus approximately same length as valva, basal 3/4 almost evenly wide, tapered from distal 1/4 to apex, with a sclerotized plate near base, distal 1/4 produced to a thin club ventrally; cornutus consisting of three strong spines linked basally, located at middle (Fig. 28a). Stathmopoda purpurata sp. nov. (Figs 12, 25, 37) Type material. CHINA, Hainan: Holotype ♂, Tianchi, Jianfengling, 11. VI.2010, leg. BB Hu & WC Li, slide No. GW 14035. The new species differs from other species of the genus in the forewing with a purplish black streak in the distal half along midline; in the male genitalia by the sub-quadrate juxta shallowly concave in U-shape posteromedially; in the female genitalia by the C-shaped signum, and the ductus seminalis inflated elliptically at middle. It is similar to S. stimulata Meyrick, 1913, but can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the straight apex of the uncus, the ovate cucullus convex before middle on the dorsal margin and the cornutus of the aedeagus with six spines; and in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with one signum. In S. stimulata, the uncus is pointed at apex, the cucullus is strongly produced at base dorsally and the cornutus of the aedeagus consists of 3–5 spines in the male genitalia; and the corpus bursae has two signa in the female genitalia (Kasy 1973, P. 286, Figs 84, 86). It is also similar to S. falsistimulata sp. nov., and the differences between the two species are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 12). Wingspan 13.0–18.0 mm. Head with frons white, vertex and occiput greyish brown. Labial palpus with second segment greyish white on inner side, pale yellow on outer side, with fine dark brown line on outer side, third segment pale brown. Antenna with scape dark brown, greyish white on anterior margin; flagellum yellowish brown. Collar milky, shining purplish brown on posterior margin; thorax yellowish white, tinged with brown, with scattered black scales on anterior half; tegula pale brown. Forewing yellowish white, with longitudinal blackish brown streak along costal margin; purplish black stripe from basal 1/8 of anterior margin of cell extending outward to basal 1/4 of costal margin; ventral margin with a sub-rounded pale ochreous brown spot from between basal 1/10 and 1/5 extending to fold, with a triangular ochreous brown spot from between basal 1/5 and 1/2 reaching basal 1/3 of anterior margin of cell, purplish black above fold and forming a dark spot; purplish black stripe in distal half along midline, straight anteriorly, triangularly produced ventrobasally, inner margin oblique; fringe brown. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Legs ochreous brown on dorsal surface, milky on ventral surface; foreleg with femur and tibia dark brown on outer side, tibia annulated with purplish brown at middle and apex, tarsus annulated with purplish brown at apices of first and fifth tarsomeres; mid tibia with ochreous brown bristles at middle and apex, tarsus brown at apices of first and fifth tarsomeres; hind tibia purplish brown and bearing long ochreous brown bristles at basal 1/3 and 2/3 respectively, apex ringed with white and long ochreous brown bristles; first tarsomere of tarsus with a slender dark brown stripe on inner and outer sides respectively, ringed with blackish brown at apex of each tarsomere, with ochreous brown bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres. Stathmopoda dolichantha sp. nov. (Figs 7, 20) Type material. CHINA, Guangxi: Holotype ♂, Shaoping Farm, Pingxiang, 280 m, 28.V.2012, leg. XF Yang, slide No. GW 12245. Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. spinicornuta sp. nov., but it can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the cucullus smoothly obtuse on the dorsal margin, the V-shaped juxta extending outward posterolaterally, and the cornutus consisting of five long spines joined at base. In S. spinicornuta sp. nov., the cucullus is obtusely convex at distal 1/3 on the dorsal margin, the juxta is semi-rounded, and the cornutus consists of three strong spines in the male genitalia. Description. Adult (Fig. 7). Wingspan 10.5 mm. Head with frons and vertex milky, tinged with pale yellowish brown, occiput with blackish brown scales laterally. Labial palpus milky; second segment with fine dark brown line in basal half on outer side; third segment pale brown on outer side. Antenna with scape yellowish white, pale brown on posterior margin; flagellum pale yellowish brown. Thorax and tegula yellowish white, with blackish brown scales basally. Forewing yellowish white, tinged with pale yellowish brown scales, with slender blackish brown streak along costal margin; longitudinal dark brown streak from middle of cell extending to apex, widened from posterior angle of cell to above ventral margin; dark brown streak extending from basal 1/4 of ventral margin obliquely outward to basal 2/5 of fold, then to basal 4/5 of fold; fringe dark brown. Hindwing and fringe brown. Legs milky; fore tibia annulated with black at middle and apex, tarsus annulated with black at apices of first and second tarsomeres, fifth tarsomere black; mid tibia blackish brown and bearing ochreous brown bristles at middle and apex on dorsal surface; hindleg yellowish brown, tibia with long brown hairs on dorsal surface, ringed with long ochreous brown bristles at apex, tarsus annulated with blackish brown and bearing ochreous brown bristles at apices of basal three tarsomeres, fifth tarsomere blackish brown. Valva narrow basally; cucullus elliptical, length approximately 2 times of maximum width, smoothly obtuse on dorsal margin, rounded at apex; inner process digitate; costa produced in basal half, narrowly banded in distal half, reaching basal 1/4 of cucullus apically; sacculus elongate conical, approximately 1/3 length of valva, with numerous long spines, free from cucullus distally. Juxta elongate V-shaped, extending obliquely outward posterolaterally, with numerous denticles, obtusely rounded on anterior margin; anellar lobes elliptical (in aedeagus). Aedeagus conical, approximately 5/7 length of valva, gradually tapered from base to apex, with a sclerotized plate at base, produced to a thin club ventrodistally, with numerous microspines ranging from middle to basal 3/4 ventrally; cornutus consisting of five long spines joined basally, ranging from basal 1/4 to middle (Fig. 20a). Female unknown. Distribution. China (Guangxi). Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin dolichanthus, referring to the long spine-shaped cornuti.
