determined only in the numerated examples by the Metabol is» i-sDoratory o-f Pediatric Clinic D-f Gazi University. The -fixation o-f retinol binding protein has been analysed in the Hematology Laboratory o-f Hacettepe University by the help o-f the teachnicians and the searcha.no. Nutritional and -food habits, -food preparation, cooking systems o-f vegetables, -frequency o-f daily -food consumption o-f these -four groups were learned and significant relation between each other was the result. The average amount o-f white meat, meat, egg, cheese, bread and other cereals, green lea-fy vegetables, all kinds o-f.fruits consumptions are -found similar in lung cancer and its control groups. The average amount o-f legemes, vegetables except lea-fy vegetables, -fats and oils consumptions are to the lung cancer patients; but milk, yougurth, marmalade, pekmez consumptions a mounts are -found higher in lung cancers patients. The quantity o-f -food consumption, energy and the other nutirents intakes o-f the invidual with the quantity adviced in RDA, the Dreast cancer group are -found to have consumed energy and protein, vitamin BE, niacin, vitamin C, calcium, iron, phosphor and zinc less than the groups o-f control. While comparing the quantity o-f -food consumption o-f the individuals with their consumption o-f daily energy and other nutrients the breast cancers are known to have consumed energy, protein» vitamin A, Bs, C, niacin, iron, zinc and phosphors less than the control groups. It was stated that the lung cancers have consumed vitamins A and Bs less than the groups o-f control. The lung cancers are known to have consumed calcium and phosphors much more than these o-f the groups o-f control. ?i OT1Comparing the level of serum vitamin A, [3-carotene, retinol binding protein in each cancer and control subjects, it was found that the level of serum of these findings of the cancers patients has been less than these of the control groups. 121ldetermined only in the numerated examples by the Metabol is» i-sDoratory o-f Pediatric Clinic D-f Gazi University.
